Heads up to Walgreens shoppers, they have updated their Balance Rewards Program. You can now redeem Balance Rewards Points at 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 point levels.

The Point System:

You used to not be able to redeem points until you reached 5,000 points. The important thing to remember is that you cannot earn Balance Rewards Points on transactions where you redeem Points.

I will still do transactions the same way with Register Rewards first, Balance Rewards second, and regular sale items last. The additional point levels just gives you more flexibility in redeeming rewards.

If this is all new to you, you can read more about how to shop at Walgreens here.
