There is a special issue of All You out  in Walmart stores right now called All You: Smart Shopping.  The magazine is filled with ideas and tips to save you money (on shopping), however it is NOT filled with coupons.  It actually doesn’t have any coupons in it at all!

If you grab this by mistake the price should alert you that you have the wrong version, this one is almost twice the price. There is a $1 off coupon available that you can use though.  If you do want it, you can only grab it in Walmart.

If you want the regular version of All You, you can get it through a great fundraiser on Southern Savers for $1.25 an issue.

My Walmart actually had this Smart Shopping issue on rollback for $1.88! There are no coupons inside, but it does have money saving tips and recipes and such inside that we love about All You, so for $0.88 with coupon it’s still a good read.

    • Silver

Well technically it does have a couple coupons in it for $1 off other magazines. ;)

But yes, no grocery type coupons.

    • radiomom

I almost bought this edition when it came out about a year ago. I flipped through it first  and decided it was not worth the hefty price tag. Dont be fooled!

    • Annrobbins2

I wish I had read this before I had bought one. I fell for it hook line and sinker.

      • me to, I went to walmart with a tired kiddo and picked it up before I realized it was empty..so sad LOL

    • i actually wanted to get this subscription…i printed the coupon..but it didnt print a “5” barcode like a regular barcode…anybody else have this problem?

    • Beth

I went by Walmart today to pick up the October issue of All You but all they had was the Smart Shopping issue.  They had filled the regular spot with the Smart Shopping issue on every checkout isle!  Most of those spots still had the tag that said $1.88!  Next time I buy a regular All You I’ll remember that because the last time I bought one it rang up $2.24.

      • Savinlotsamoney

It has been $2.24 the last two months I bought it.  I used a 25% off coupon, but still $2 is getting kinda steep.

This was the case at the Wal-Mart in my area,  too.  So I asked customer service if Wal-Mart stocked the magazine shelves or if a third-party supplier stocked the shelves.  I was told that the magazine supplier stocked Wal-Mart’s shelves and that,  therefore, there was no change that Wal-Mart had the September or October issue in the stock room.  I wonder why some of the stores are getting the monthly issues while others are getting only the Smart Shopping issue.

        • TLF

I mean no CHANCE (not “no change”) that Wal-Mart had any monthly issues in their stockroom.

    • Jennifer Clayton

Wasn’t there one that DID have coupons?

    • Stacey

I got mine at Walmart and it had tons of Qs in it. It was the one you are showing and it was full of ideas that I already pretty much knew but had like 88 bucks worth of qs in it. Maybe diferrent states or stores have different ones. Kinda like the awesome lists you put up except the Harris teeter deals from store to store are always differentso its hard to follow the list because half of the stuff is not on sale at mine or there is no product because they dont carry it or they take it off the shelf i its too much ofa money maker. I would though listen to Southern Saver aboutthe magazine since she did experience it and knows more about it.

    • Kempton999

I couldn’t find the October issue at Walmart, they only had the “Fall” issue and it has no coupons all.  I hope will let me return it.

    • guest

This $1 coupon as well as the actual $1 off  coupon in the Oct issue of All You did NOT have a UPC barcode on either of them for the coupon to work. Neither coupon worked. Even a manager tried to scan it at my Walmart.  They were very nice and took the $1 off coupon from the actual Oct. issue, even though it didnt actually scan. Other stores may not and consider it a fraud.

    • Dew_drop_fairy76

I wish I had known this when I purchased this last Friday at Wal-Mart. I did have the $1 off coupon to buy it, but I was dissapointed that there were no coupons inside the magazine.

    • Llcoupons11

Thankfully I looked through it first and realized it didn’t have any coupons! I left my coupon for the magazine next to it in case someone wanted to buy it. No coupons= no buy for me! LOL

Still can’t believe it I just got a $827.89 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://jmb.tw/52bf

    • Zimmge

I recall they had a fitness issue a year or two ago that did not have any coupons either.  I was so disappointed!  Thanks for the heads-up, Jenny!  I will save my meager dollars…

    • Kawee02

Thank you for saving me a trip to Walmart!

    • Lisa K.

Thank you for the tip because I suspected that was probably the case!

    • Jtrainbows

WOW,,thanks for the info….surely thought it would have coupons…!

    • Yourdarkangel138

So i saw this mag and jerked it up cuz i had two transaction to do last nite . So i put it with my first transaction thinkin that with my cascade and tide trial packs it would b pretty cheap… Not the case n then to add to the horrible checkout expierence i then got home n found out there were no coupons… My fault i should of looked.. on another note it should b a requirement to b a couponer to work as a cashier at walmart.. they have NO IDEA about their coupon policy. A quick trip to walmart turned into a twenty minute checkout whike i waited for 3 cashiers to read every word of my coupons n take the stuff out of my bags to match it up… I ended up getting $79 worth of stuff for $12 but goodness what a headache!!!!

      • DebT

I totally understand. I feel like I have to explain the difference between purchase and transaction to everyone at Walmart. I have to laugh when someone is a manager of a store and they don’t even have the slightest clue about the basic concepts of couponing. U would think they would understand that they are getting reimbust for every single coupon that I use and Walmart even gets bonuses for the amount of product that goes through the store. So… your welcome Walmart. The fact that I spend as much time as I do looking for the coupons putting together my orders and driving to your store to buy your product to keep u in busines then the least you can do is treat us with a little more respect instead of treating us like we are tring to steal from beneath your nose. Thank goodness Publix is across the street and I can use more coupons….

      • Delucas65

This is why I do NOT shop at WalMart with my coupons, just about don’t shop there period anymore! My time is more valuable than the little bit I’d save with them, not going into the instant blood pressure rise having to deal with them in the first place. We had a few WM stores in the area that were tripling coupons with Harris Teeter this past weekend through Tuesday. I was told by someone who did this that you had to put each individual coupon on top of the item it was for and they had to actually adjust the price of each item to get the “double” then scan the coupon at the end to get the “triple”. You also had to tell them that is what you were doing or they just scanned the coupons at the end for the normal one time amount. Ridiculous! BTW, I left the mag at the store! No coupons, no purchase!! LOL

    • Gaylal

I have noticed that the coupons listed in the front of the magazines aren’t always in the magazine.  What’s up with that?

      • Me to, and I called the All You Mag. company when they weren’t in my issue this month and the c/s rep told me that when you order them in the mail, the extra coupons are not in them, that’s for in-store magazines only.

        • What??? Screwed twice in the same day by the same magazine. Just unhappily bought the Smart Shopping (not so smart of me) issue only to discover NO coupons. Just 5 minutes ago bought a two year subscription thinking I’d get coupons. THAT’S ALL I WANT. If I just wanted to read it, the office I work at gets it regularly. :0(

          • Guest

I get mine in the mail and it has coupons.  But sometimes a little different than the one in the stores.

          • Srhine85

Typically the ones in the mail are missing the Conagra cardboard inserts that come out every few months or so. Otherwise, I find that the coupons are about the same. However, after a year, I ditched my subscription and go to Wal-Mart once a month for 2 copies.

    • I was fooled.

    • Darlene

I stock the All You magazines at Walmart for about 2 years now and the special magazines that comes out has never had any coupons in it the 2 years I’ve been doing this job. Always look in the Magazine it will save you alot of time and money. The special magazines cost 4.99.

      • Anonymous

This isn’t the case at  Walmart in Clermont, Fl in the past two years. The All You magazines that I have  always gotten there always have coupons and I would never pay 4.99 for any magazine. I think the price was 1.99 to 2.49 each and they always had a large sheet of coupons. Seems to be baiting to me if they now are putting out more expensive version to get the coupons. If they have started the more expensive one I haven’t seen it,  I haven’t bought All You anyway in the past several months. Try not to go to Walmart often. :) (smiles)

    • TLF

I went to Wal-Mart the other day only in order to get the regular monthly versions of ALL YOU.  But the only issue of ALL YOU that they are carrying is the Smart Shopping issue.

    • WOW! Thanks for the warning! Seems kind of oxy-moronish to me…a savings edition of a would-be coupon magazine…without any coupons.
