Bi-Lo Weekly Ad 1/6-1/12

on 1.6.2010 at 2:29am

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are the deals that start at Bi-Lo 1/6.  There are a few goods deals in this ad that should at least make you consider a run to Bi-Lo.   I would like to pass on a personal message to Bi-Lo though and the new plan to not give stores the ad until the night before is not cool.   Starting to type your ad at 1 am… not happy.

Coupon Policy:
1. Most Bi-Lo store double coupons that are .60¢ or less
2. You can “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon
3. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
4. If you do buy two B1G1 items use 2 coupons if you have them
5. Some stores take competitor coupons, please check with your store before shopping to see if a coupon will be accepted.

      Thanks for the list Jenny!

    • Melissa

Thank you so much for posting this… especially at 1 in the morning!

    • No prints available on the Kellogs bygo deal – so frustrating after filling all that out.

    • Neka

      Hey Jenny,

I did go to Bi-Lo.com yesterday around 8pm and they already had the ad posted, so tha may be why they won’t give the stores a head start!

    • Jenny – thanks so much for doing this – I usually get my Bi-Lo ad in postal delivered mail by about 4pm on Tuesday – would be happy to coordinate getting the info to you…

    • Tiya

On the buy theirs get ours, they have if you buy Kraft Cheese you get the Southern Home. If I am buying 5 of the Kraft, can I use 5 coupons to get 5 SH for free?

      • Tiya

Nevermind, I read the coupon and it says limit one per customer.

        • Ashley

I went to their site and I don’t see the cheese deal. It says saltine crackers and two other buy theirs get ours deals.

          • Tiya

I went on too early that was the one from last week. It ended 1/5. Sorry for the mix up.

        • Rebecca

          Hi, Tiya,
I work for Bi-Lo, and we do accept extra coupons beyond the limit of one, as long as customers are not abusing the issue. (I’d say it’s safe to use two to four coupons; just don’t try to use 10 at a time!) =)

    • Lisa

The coupon for Palermo’s pizza doesn’t have a print limit, when you click on your print icon you can selct how many you want, I select 4 since I usually do the meal deals twice. Oh, There sre a few from my church that are going to your workshop on the 18th in N Charleston! We can’t wait!

      • debra

Thanks for that info, got my 4 coupons.

    • Amy

There is/was a printable coupon for Weight Watcher novelties .. think it was .55 off!

      • Candace

The .55 coupon is on coupons.com

          • ShaRee

    • Jennifer

      • pharmSCgirl

When I click on the icon to get the coupon it takes me to a page where you sign up and says to print coupon click on the link below but then where the coupon should be, there is just a banner saying 2010 coupons coming soon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

        • Amy

I got the same thing! Wonder how it works??

    • Amber

Anyone know what zip code to use for the velveeta coupon? Thanks!

      • Rhonda

I need that too. I’m dying to get this Velveeta, but the coupon is GONE!

    • Annah

Don’t forget about the $1.00 coupon for New England Coffee

      Makes it $1.99

      • Debbie

What zip code did you use for the New England Coffee?
There isnt one on that link for me?

        • Annah

          I used 28273

          • Amanda

I didn’t have to use a zip code for mine, I just used Google to search for New England Coffee coupons and it took me to RP. HTH :) I love their coffe and was so happy to have found a coupon for it!

    • Mary T

We have a weekly paper so we get ours in the mail generally by 11am on Tues., if we could coordinate, I’d be willing to get you the info. Also if you have a raincheck for the electrasol B1G1 it would make it FREE!

    • Amy

Where was the $2.50 off the Electrasol?? My paper did have that coupon.

      • Amy

OPPS>>DID NOT. My paper did not have the coupon!

        • Rm

yep i get the Chattanooga paper also. I was also very disappointed I’ll be honest it was a real let down the coupons that we got in our 5 inserts were not very good at all. I usually buy more than one paper but it definitely was not worth it this week.

          • Rhonda

I agree. I was VERY disappointed. Come on Chattanooga Times, we need better coupons.

            • Amber

Amen to that!!! I wasn’t able to get all the cool rite-aid deals eiether.

    • Foxfunds

Amy – some papers did not get the Q. I know for a fact that the Chattanooga area paper did not – it was a disappointing insert day for me Sunday. Thank God for all of the coupon clippers that sell for those of us that miss out on the good ones…

    • Carrie

Okay, after reading yesterday’s post on how to use coupons and not rob stores of their reimbursements in regards to misuse of coupons or fraud, I was very cautious at my morning trip to Publix.
I did not end up using the $5 Sudafed coupon for the deal since the coupon specified 36 ct. Triple Action Sudafed (behind Pharmacy counter at $14.99) and Publix has the Sudafed Triple Action PE 24 ct. on sale for something like $6.99 so I didn’t get it since the count didn’t match coupon specifications. Was about to do the First Aid Tape and I also noticed the Publix coupon states you must buy 2 of J&J items if buying tape or gauze. But since the Tape was priced at 1.79, there was still overage for buying 2 and using 2 man. + 1 store coupon.

All in all a good trip. ($3.22 OOP) Still came home with 2 egg beaters, 2 Bumble Bee pouch tuna’s, 2 J&J tapes as well as 2 cool whips. Lunch is tuna salad today so that worked out nicely.

Thank you Jenny for your list, I enjoy having this opportunity to plan out my excursions to the stores and save money while doing it.

      • Carrie

Okay I will hang my head in shame for now posting on the totally wrong page. :::sigh::: humility hurts :X

        • Morgan

It’s all good! I shop at both stores so I read your post anyway!

    • Rachel

I don’t think the Greek yougurt coupon works with what’s on sale. It’s not the right kind or size :(

    • Kayla

Is there a limit to how many of the meal deals you can do? Is it only one meal deal per bonus card?

      • Mary T.

I believe it’s one per transaction.

      • Morgan

The sign in my store (Clemson) said ‘one per day.’

    • Teri

      Hey Jenny!

Don’t know if you know it or not, but here in Upstate SC Bi-Lo has a program called Fuel Perks. It is wonderful! For every $50 you spend and you use your Bonus Card (they issued new ones for this purpose) you can bank 5 cent off of a gallon of gas at either Spinx or Shell stations. You don’t have to spend $50 all at once either. It will just get carried over until your next shopping trip. Those 5 cents add up and depending on how much shopping you do, you can get a significant amount of money off of a tank of gas! Sometimes they give you added bonuses too. If you bought a thanksgiving turkey you had 10 cent added on top of what your order totaled! Also sometimes, I’m not sure if it is every Saturday, but on the trips I have made on a Saturday they give you double the amount. So instead of 5 cents for $50, it is 10 cents. During the week I made purchases of $49.51, but on Saturday, I spent another $55 so I got 20 cent off of a future gas purchase in one trip PLUS I already had 5 cents in my account previously. I don’t know if the money off has an expiration but I’m pretty sure you can get up to the price of a gallon of gas off of the cost. I’ve only banked up to 45 cents but that’s $9 off of 20 gallons which is the limit you can get. Once you do use it (you have to swipe your bonus card at the pump) it once again gets set to 0 and you start over. I think it is a great program and hope everyone that can, takes advantage of it!

Thanks for all your hard work keeping us all informed of all the great deals!

      • Sue

I think Fuelperks expire in 90 days. Perks earned in December will expire at the end of March.

        • ANN

I work for Bilo(Hartsville), your fuel perks take away 5 cents a month if you don’t use them after 90 day (3 months). They don’t expire unless they are quick with the program. I got a hole tank of gas yesterday for get 38 cent( just the taxes).

          • Sandra

Ann, That’s MY Bi-Lo store, but I live in Bishopville. Do you have to get a special Bonus Card to use the fuel perks or just the normal one? Also, which station in Hartsville do you use? Thanks so much. BTW – I love the Hartsville Bi-Lo. I never have a problem using my coupons there!!!!

            • Sue

When my Bilo started doing fuelperks, I had to upgrade my card. The new one has a big apple on it and is rounded on the top left corner. They told me that the old card would no longer work.

            • Angel

Fuel Perks in Hartsville are good at the Sunoco station on 4th street, just down from the post office. YOu needed to get a new bonus card when the program was rolled out, and Hartsville was a test market, so it was mid last year iirc. Your new card is big and has a magnetic stip on the back that the fuel pump can read. You also got the key tag cards to use at the stop, but you can’t use them to redeem cents off at the gas station pump…you need the big card for that.
I last used my fuel perks just before leaving to go to Birmingham for the Gamecocks Bowl Game. I got over $1 off per gallon, and bought 20 gallons…..which saved us enough for dinner out that night. Awesome program.
PLUS the fuel perks amount is the BEFORE coupon amount!!
Love the Hartsville Bi-Lo, Mr Reggie & Ms Vicky are the nicest folks!!

      • mingle411

The Bi-lo fuel perks do expire in 90 days. It is a great program though. I had been saving up since September and since my points were going to expire on 12/31/09 I went to my local shell and got 20 gallons of gas for $8.78. ($.43 cents per gallon) I had $1.95 off per gallon. Thanks Bi-lo.

    • Jamie

Seems the creamer sale is only for Fat Free varieties.

      • Linda W.

I bought about 8 of these yesterday, not fat free, and they were all on sale. Some of the “Holiday” flavors rang up 1.00 each. I did buy vanilla fat free, but the amaretto (sp?) regular rang up on sale too! Find a price scanner in your store and see what it rings up before you buy! But it should be on sale no matter if it’s fat free or not.

    • At my Bi-Lo the Kraft singles ran up $2, not $1.67. :(

    • .Jennifer

Thank you for all of your hard work Jenny. I’m sorry that you aren’t able to get the ad early anymore. I would definately understand if you need to start getting this up later in the day on Wednesday.

    • Can you stack the in store coupon for kraft and ritz with the 2 off 2 q for the ritz crackers ?

      • Sue

Should work fine as long as you buy 2 crackers. I used their in-ad for cheese & cream cheese a while back along with a q for $1 off 3 cream cheeses. i bought 3 cream cheeses, 3 Kraft cheeses, used the q for cream cheese and 3 in-ad q’s and the register did not even beep. Both my cashier & I were holding our breath for it but they went through just fine.

        • THanks. Then I should be able to use 1$ OFF 2 Q for the kraft cheese also That would be 4.50 off of 2 ritz and 2 kraft cheese.NOt sure of the price of these items but hope it ends up to be a good deal. I am pretty new to this but catching on and saving big bucks!

          • michele

I was able to use the 1.50 in ad Q for cheese/crackers, plus $1/2 kraft natural cheese x3, and the 2/2 ritz crackers(kinda pricey, 3.79/ea. )However my $5 next purchase didn’t print, thankfully I asked someone on my way out and they gave me a written coupon. I was slightly dissappointed with bi-lo, they were out of the meal deal breadsticks, ground beef, and french bread.

            • Morgan

Which store do you shop? My $5 didn’t print either, and the manager basically told me to get over it! If I hadn’t been so embarassed, I would’ve pulled all five items out of the bag and returned them right there.

            • Michelle

This was at the Ocoee crossing bi-lo in cleveland tn. I just stopped asked a girl on the way out and she didn’t even look at my receipt, and wrote up a slip with a managers signature on it. Since we use so much cheese, I am going to go back and do the deal again and see if it will print.

            • kathi

Morgan, Try calling Catalina. (Oh Jenny, can you help her out please w/ the number? I got it from you) They were very helpful when the catalina didn’t print out for the $10 Kelloggs cereal deal (was supposed to be a mail-in for a $10 gift card). I wouldn’t have had time to get it back in the mail to get my gc if they had sent me a replacement for THAT so they sent me 5 $2 off catalinas at Bilo instead, works for me. I did have to give them info off of my receipt (date, which store, that sort of thing)

    • Darleen

Is anyone having a problem printing the Hillshire Farm coupon?

      • Karen

I am – I never got the confirmation e-mail from them, so I can’t even log in!

        • Alison V.

same here. even tried logging in with the password i choose, it didn’t work. i also tried clicking on the coupon link and it says “error loading the info.”

    • Ashley

Just went to bi-lo…got several things…did really well I thought. But I bought 4 packs of the Nabisco 100 calories pack and used 2 of the $2/2 coupons. Upon receiving my receipt I received money off my next purchase from Nabisco. It Says:
      Buy Nabisco 100 calories packs between 1/1 & 1/24

Buy 3 and get $1.00 or
Buy 4 and get $2.00 or
Buy 5 or more and get $3.00.
All items must be purchased in one shopping order

      Just thought I would share
Thanks so much for all you do!

      • Rhonda

I was getting on here to say the same thing. This is a GREAT deal.

        • Dianna

i was also hoping someone posted this! I was excited when mine printed out today! What a great unexpected deal!!!!!!

      • cortney

My bilo in ooltewah would not let me use the $2/2 on the 100 calorie packs. They said I had to just buy crackers only. If my husband (who gets embarrassed at my couponing) had not been with me, I would have argued, but I just had her take them off my order and didn’t get them. I was very upset though, especially seeing the coupon that would have printed had I bought them!

        • morgan

Go back. I bought four packs and used two coupons. They wouldn’t scan, and after my cashier acutally read it (instead of just looking at the picture) she manually entered it into the register. The reason it wouldn’t scan (as she explained it) is because of the dollar amount, not because it’s the wrong items.

    • linda

Jenny, I am a bilo employee. The new ads come in the store a couple of days before the new ad breaks. If you introduce yourself to the manager and ask for these, ( they are usually in boxes in the office) I think they might agree. good luck!

    • Alicia

Anyone else having problem getting the $5 off your next trip when you buy 5 Kraft Cheese products? Bought 4 bags of Kraft shredded cheese and 2 packs of Kraft singles and didn’t get the coupon. Asked my cashier and she said she thought I needed a coupon. I didn’t have my ad with me so after checking out grabbed an ad and went to customer service. It didn’t require a coupon but customer service was clueless why it didn’t print. She took my name and number and said she would check into it.She did call me back and said I could pick the coupon up but wanted to make sure I purchased 5 Kraft cheese products (she already checked my receipt one time.) Very frustrating trip!!!

      • michele

MIne didn’t print either, I caught it before leaving and got a hand written coupon with manager signature. I thought it was maybe due to the fact I used so many q’s. I used 3 $1/2 kraft natural cheese, $2/2 ritz, 1.50 off kraft cheese and ritz, I wasn’t sure if I could do that, but it went through.

      • Morgan

Yes! Mine didn’t print either, and the manager basically told me to get over it!

        • Ingrid

My coupon didn’t print either but the manager at the Lexington, SC store was really nice (since I did have 5 cheese items) and let me use someone else’s $5 off coupon that had printed previously. Be really careful of your purchases – all of the items have to be 6 or more oz to count. I had picked up one of the cracker sliced blocks and when we went through my things it was only actually 5oz but she let it slide. Good first experience at Bi-Lo with my new bonus card!!! Thanks Jenny for helping me get started with saving money on groceries!

        • kathi

Morgan I left you a note above but it is under someone else’s name

          • morgan

Thanks, I am going to call the store again this afternoon and if that doesn’t work I am calling catalina (if I can find the number)…

    • Karen

If the Atkins shakes really are $3.49 each, then the $1.50 off coupon will make it $1.99 – not $2.99. That’s only 50 cents each!

    • Karen

I saw another post asking this same question but with no reply. Is the weekly meal deal special 1 per card or 1 per transaction? I went to bi lo for the first time today just to get the special. The lady checking me out didn’t understand the question I was asking and I was in a hurry so thought I would ask you guys, the professionals!

      • michele

I asked an employee tonight at bi-lo and he said it was one per transaction and even suggessted if I wanted to get more I should just do 2 transactions. THey were out of breadsticks though so I didn’t get those.I will go back and try to get another meal deal, complete this time. I think on Bi-lo’s website on the promotions page it lists the meal deal and states one per transaction.

    • Rm

not too impressed with the Bi-lo ad this week.

    • Jamey

Has anyone else had trouble buying one B1G1 item at Bi-Lo and getting it to ring half price? I tried to buy 2 different items today, a box of shredded wheat cereal and a bag of redskin potatoes that were both supposed to be B1G1, I only bought one of each, and each rang up full price. I didn’t have time to ask the cashier if they changed policy, I just had her take them off the order. Bi-Lo prices are so outrageous, if the B1G1 has to buy 2 I won’t be going there much anymore. I can’t eat 10lbs of potatoes before they go bad! :(

      • Rhonda

My B1G1 items always ring up 1/2 price. Did you scan your bonuscard?

        • Jamey

Yes! I hope it was just a fluke…I love shopping and saving at BiLo…I was on my lunch hour so I didn’t have time to ask customer service.

      • Rm

you need to scan your bonus card in order for the bogo free items to ring up half price. when an item is on sale for bogo free then you do not have to purchase 2. each item will automatically ring up half price (when you use your bonus card) sorry this happened but just consider it a learning experience. Even though I know it was very frustrating. Bi-lo prices are high I only go armed with coupons and shop the sales.

    • Lisa

Does anybody know the price for Kraft Parmesan cheese?

      • Kimberly K

I shopped for the same thing today. It is not part of the 2/$4 deal. I believe it was $2.68, but don’t quote me.

    • Linda W.

Yesterday I noticed that the TN Pride sausage gravy (in the freezer section) was on sale for .98. (This was in Cleveland, TN) If you got the monthly bonus book last month there was a coupon for .55 off any TN Pride product, which makes these free! Glad I grabbed about 50 of these! These things are great for mornings when you’re short on time. My bi lo doesn’t do overage so anything under 1.10 works for me! Thanks Jenny for compiling the sales and coupons for us! Appreciate it very much! :)

    • Ashley

The campaign for the 1.00 off coffeemate is over, but there is another coupon for $1.50 off 2. A total of $.79 for two!

    • AJ

At my Bi-Lo the only soup on sale was low sodium and light. Thank you for site

    • heather

Thank you for this website and all you’ve provided on it.

      • joel

Bi-Lo in Cedar Springs/ Spartanburg would not take the Target manu coupons..

    • Sheri Fannin

Mount Pleasant Bi-Lo not taking the $5/4 Kellogg’s cereal coupon. Does not scan.

    • Tami

Thank you so much for all of your hard work creating these list!My husband was laid off in the summer and still has not found work and this helps me more than you know! Thanks again!

    • Stefanie

I bought 4 of the 100cal Nabisco snacks today and got a surprise at the register. It printed off a $2 oyno! :) This is what it states:

      Buy 3 & get $1
      Buy 4 & get $2
      Buy 5 or more & get $3

Items must be purchased between 1/1 & 1/24

      • Neka

I got the same pleasant suprise. I bought 8 boxes and got $3 off my next Bi-Lo purchase. We all know with couponing, $3 can mean a LOT!
        Thanks Nabisco!!

    • Kimberly K

The Sara Lee deli sliced chicken is a new product for Bi-Lo. Look for coupons on the top of the deli case for Sara Lee low-sodium meat. It was $1.50 off 1 lb. or more. I didn’t buy the low-sodium, but my friendly Bi-Lo cashier allowed me to use it anyway.

    • LInda

I have not been able to find the coupons for the Atkin shakes. Is there a place on-line that I can print them?

    • have you ever saved by buying dollar general or walmart and using their brands even with all the deals and coupons I come out cheaper and don’t have to do all the running around -I quess it depends on what you use -good job though-it is all common sense

    • Leslie

I went to buy the Purina dog food for $7.99 with the $2 off puppy chow coupon, but found out that ONLY dog food, not puppy food, is on sale. I was disappointed, to say the least!

    • Bi-Lo has Marcal Small Steps Napkins 2/$4, there’s a $1.25/1 Q on SmartSource. Now, that’s a deal!

    • Kristin

I did buy the 5 Kraft products and received the $5 off my next order–I used 2 $1.00 off coupons when you buy 2 Kraft 2% cheese products and did very well.

I then did a second transaction with the Special K deal– bought 2 boxes of Special K cereal- 2 for $5 (had a $1.00 off coupon), and 3 boxes of Special K bars – $1.99 each (had a $1.00 off coupon for 2)– got the $3.00 instant coupon savings as mentioned in the ad– my total was $5.97, used my $5.00 coupon that printed on the first transaction, and owed 97 cents! Great deal for the Special K products!!

    • Lynn

My Palermo coupon wouldn’t scan. Anyone else have this problem? My cashier took it, but was just wondering.

      • Kimberly K

Mine didn’t scan either. My cashier questioned if it was valid, but she finally took it.

    • Meme

I have a question for the more experienced of my new buddies. If I want to purchase a BOBO item and I have a B2G1 coupon plus a .50/3 coupon, how do I work that deal? How many of the items do I need to buy to have everything ring up properly? My problem is not getting enough items to clear all coupons or I don’t use some coupons that I could have used but didn’t figure into the equation.

Also, should I have the cashier ring up the items and take off the coupons before scanning my store card? Does this help the register to accept the coupons or will it make any difference?

Thanking you for this help. Meme

      • lisa

Neither Bi-Lo or Publix requires you to buy 2 to get the BOGO pricing. If you buy one, it will ring at half price. But of course, in the scenario you mentioned, your coupon requires you purchase 3. So if you buy 3, you will get each at half price and then you will get another $1.00 off when your coupons are scanned. It doesn’t matter when the coupon is scanned.

    • tina

Can someone tell me if the Quaker rice cakes is a monthly deal or is it just in this weeks ad??

    • will there be a sale at bilo this week? I can’t seem to to pull it up.
