    • BoonaMom

Where do you get the CVS Big Savings booklet?

      • I'd like to know this too. Still trying to find the CVS beauty book I saw mentioned on another site.

      • These are the the insert that is put into the Reinventing Beauty Magazine, but some stores get just the coupons. If you can't find the coupons separately look for the magazine it costs 99¢ and has a lot of coupons inside.

        • Yes, my daughter found them (a little hidden actually) under the sales flyers right at the door. All we had were the flyers. It says 'CVS pharmacy Store Coupons Big Savings!'

      • I have asked my local CVS stores several times if they carry this and they said they used to get them from the warehouse but haven't been getting them. If anyone is able to get an extra copy or two for me, I'd be happy to trade/compensate you for it.

    • Seporter818

Dove scenario won't work w/ those coupons. You can't use 2 of the dove bar coupons if you're only buying 2 bars b/c the coupon is $1/2. FYI :)

    • Where do you get the
CVS Big Savings booklet? Is that mailed or in the store?

      • Never mind… I see Jenny answered this question below.

    • Rubydon200

What is a Star Savings account?

      • Rubydon200

never mind…I figured it out. does anyone use this?

        • MM

It's fairly new…Jenny has a post on the site from a couple of weeks ago explaining it.

    • I can not get the Nature Made Vitamin 6.00 coupon – I can't even find it…could someone help me please!

      • Stephanie in Bham

There is one in the All You magazine February issue on page 1. The printable link does not work for me.

    • Samnomore

What zip did you use to get the Neutrogena coupon?

      • gardengirl

I don’t know a zip code but you can go to their website and print the q

    • Darcykins

Confused. The Lipton Iced tea doesnt add up to me. If you have to buy 2 to use the coupon your precost is 9.98. -2.00 coupon=7.98. -1.00 ECB = 6.98 for 2. Thats 3.49 each. There is a limit of 1 ECB on this deal so am I reading this wrong?

      • Stephanie in Bham

No, your math is correct. Just a simple human error on Jenny's part.

        • Darcykins

Thank you Stephanie. Ive always done this on my own and trying to use someone elses prelaid plans always has me second guessing myself. I was afraid I was missing out on something or not using an offer as I should.

      • Anonymous

Its not a mistake, its actually cheaper to buy the two even though you only receive 1 ebc. If you bought one, it would cost you 3.99 with the 1 ebc back and you would not be able to use the 2.00/2 q. Just because the ad says a limit of one deal, doesnt mean that you can’t buy more to your advantage.

    • ajilloftrades

What zip code did you use for the Disney vitamins?

    • Rossi1025

I keep having a problem with old bricks q's- at what point do they reset? I printed the cerave q's more than a few months ago- and it is now saying that i have printed the # of times allowed. It's not just this one, it's several others too- is it my computer??? or is it just the way it is?

      • Paulanrodney

        I wondered the samething!

    • Slmathis4

Is there are certain zip code you have to use to get the Disney children's vitamins?

      • Melissa

I printed that a week ago. I think it's gone now.

    • Shari

I have a question….Can you use a coupon for Buy 2, get one free, then use $1 off coupons for the two that weren't free?

      • moneysaved4disney

      • Paulanrodney

most places that have BOGO or BoG2 you can use coupons for each item including the ones you are gtting free. Example the scotch tape is buy one get two free you can use 3 $1 off coupons making you get all three for free plus a $1.01 credit  I always make sure when doing this I am buying something else that the credit will apply to right then or they freak out at the register.

    • Sean

I don't think transaction #1 is going to work. First, the Herbal Essences BOGO coupon expired 4/30. Second, the Hidden Valley coupon is for
Hidden Valley Farmhouse Originals. CVS doesn't carry these. The sale is for Ranch.

      • MacsMommy7

you can use an Herbal Essences BOGO coupon on Aussie hair care products ?

        • tina

yes it said so on my coupon

    • Cluckie

Is the 10 ECB deal when you buy $15 correct? I don't see it in the ad on “I love CVS”.

      • Jackie

You mean the L'Oreal skin or sun care, right?  It's showing up as 10 ECB wyb $25 on their website for my local upcoming ad.  I'm not sure if it's different regionally or not…

    • Cluckie

Forgot to mention it's the Loreal Deal.

    • Bridgetlhawks

92501 is the zip code for Enfamil Coupon

@ef57cb87c4cd2873d2c556969420d22b:disqus Hi! The SavingsStar is an online coupon database, sort of like UPromise. You create an account on their website, select coupons you want to use, and then you are set to go. These are electronic coupons, so there is nothing to worry about bringing to the store, and they hook up to your various store cards. You can only use most of them once. Instead of the total coming off of your immediate transaction, the money gets deposited into your savings star account, and then once you have $5 you get to choose a giftcard that you want. If you search the Southern Savers Page using the search tool for Savings Star, you will find a post Jenny did a couple of weeks ago. There are lots of great questions and answers by a Savings Star representative on that page about how it works! Good Luck!

        • Cindyc

Thanks soooo much.  You answered all of my questions.  Bless you!

    • jonesta3

Can you use the $1 off Finesse and the mail in rebate together?

      • davis

    • Lacat

I have “CVSed” so much lately, I have enough shampoo, toothpaste, Windex, etc to last me close to a year!  I always like finding good deals, though!

      • Sarah

When my stock gets like that I put together a few bags to donate.  :)

        • blessedbeingmom

That's a nice idea!  My DH told me we have enough laundry detergent and I don't need to buy anymore.  LOL!

          • Megortiz63

me too…. my “buy” price on detergent has dropped from $3 to $2 to under $1, we have so much stockpiled!

        • Lacat

Good for you!  We are nearing retirement, (good for us), and I'm so thankful I can stock up like this.  I usually donate food and clothes, though.

    • Sheeba

Can't find the $2 Nutrogena Sun Care coupon.  Not on my Red Plum when I click it.  Where is it?

      • Coupondiva

I think I printed this M q from the Walmart site.

        • Coupondiva

just checked. looks like this deal is gone now. :(

      • Melissa

I have a couple if you want them.

      • Melissa

Sheeba,If you go to the Neutrogena website and click on special offers, you can find the coupon there also. It will let you print twice.

    • Hmdandthc123

I have a coupone for  Free John Freida Foam Hair Color.  Does anyone know if CVS accepts free coupons?  If so, will I still get the extra care bucks?  Thanks!

      • Melissa

Yes they do and you should still receive your ECB.

        • Hmdandthc123

Thanks so much!  I will try it! :)

          • beezy

I'll be trying it, too. My coupon just came in the mail today. Right on time!

    • Odinvsaver

if you live in an area that did not get a mitchum coupon like me in the sunday paper, i found that if you go to mitchum's facebook page you can print a $1 off coupon by “liking” them. Just wanted to share the wealth before the sale oppurtunity was over.:)

    • ireneY

Oh boy, got another $5/15 Q on register tape today! Figured out that they aren't generated by your purchasing habits, but by the store. This is the second one I've gotten from the same location. They don't appear quite as busy as the other two stores closer to my house, so it must be their way of boosting sales.

      • GatorNurseApril

I never get x off x coupons from CVS anymore, but my mom gets them all the time. Does anyone know what determines if you get these coupons?

        • ireneY

I used to get them evey other week via email and randomly at the red scanner box, but haven't for a year now. Even after retiring an old card and getting a new one, still nothing. Thats why I think it's tied to the store. Try shopping at a less busy location. You might get one, too!

          • Guest

Its is based on what you buy. the more you buy the more coupons you get. I get five bucks every week. I usually get them 40 weeks out of the year.

    • Harlie_girl2u

Where can I get the CVS big savings booklet ?

    • Stephanie

I have two questions where do you get the cvs big saving booklet and how do you get the right guard coupon on facebook.

      • Trouta

I google searched CVS big saving booklet because I wanted to know too and it's a sheet of coupons located next to their ad in the store :)

    • Krazycouponchic

I question the Lipton Iced Tea deal.  I appears that it is a $1RR on one 12 pack (limit 1) but in order to use the coupon you must buy 2 so does that mean you can get one for 3.99 with the RR and the other for 4.99 sale price then use the $2/2 coupon?

      • jhoran

        You don't have to buy 2, but it works out to be 3.49 ea if you do, even though you will only be getting 1 ebc.  2 @ 4.99 = 9.98 – $2/2 = 7.98 – 1 ebc = 6.98/2 = 3.49 ea.

    • Marlie

Can you actually shop at CVS on Saturday night…if so, what time does the new weekly deals begin?

      • Smaples23173

It depends on your local store.  I am in Mobile AL and the nearest store to me has always had the register programmed for the next weeks ad by 2:00 p.m. Saturday.  The thing to remember is that you need to be really specific on your list as to what is on sale because they will not put out the new ad or stickers by the products until the next day (at least at my store).  If there is a question about whether something is on sale then scan it at the coupon printer.  If it has the sale price for the next day then it is in the system and your ecbs will print.  Hope this helps!

        • Susanne

The store that I have used for a long time advised me that corporate told them that they now can not activate the sale until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday starting last week. They were doing it around 12:00.

          • GeorgiaPeaches

My store will no longer activate early on Saturdays.

      • mightymousemom

Ususally around 6pm, non 24 hour stores. Scan an item at the red machine for the Sunday sale price and verify if the sale prices are in the system, then you should be able to make your purchase if they are and get your ecb's

      • Marlie

Thanks for the replies everyone.  I did check with my store this afternoon, and they said the sales would start at 6pm on Saturday night.  :D

    • Jaclyn

where do i get the Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet???

      • wendyc33

If they still have any to give out. You can get them on the p&g website. You have to sign up and they will mail one to you.

    • Ljisaok

Can I use the V8 vegetable juice coupons on the V8 Splash?

      • acpack

don't think so…not the same product.

    • Ljisaok

Can I use the $1 off Finnese and the up to $2 rebate as well to get it for free, or would that be a profit?

      • Greg

The 2 dollar rebate  is a mail in form. I printed one out from home. Just says include original store receipt and circle the product on receipt. So yeah I'm planning on using 1/1 q at the store and mailing in rebate for a .50 profit.

    • Amie Royer

Noticed that the Neutrogena sun care q's say “Limit one coupon per purchase and one coupon per customer”, are we going to be able to use them both in one transaction to score the deal with the ECB's????

      • Greg

That is a good question. I wonder if the suncare counts as health. If so we can use one 2/1 q and the cvs 3.00/10.00 health q and save 1.00 more. Its a thought.

        • Greg

Anyone else think that will work? I'm trying to plan my trip. Thanks  :)

      • jhoran

Here is the solution …  we all know that the register keeps track of the deal and its not necessary to complete the purchase in one shot to get the ebc's, so you just buy one and then you buy the other one later.

    • Dian1979

      • gardengirl

to find where Jenny introduced us to Saving Star, go to the search bar at the top of this page and enter saving star.  you should be able to find where she told us about it a couple of weeks ago.  I'm not real knowledgeable on it yet so I won't try to tell you about it.

    • Also in ad posted on CVS website (preview)

      • Mrsortega111111

I have a couple of the b1g1 q's…if you like them you can have them. send me an email at bfinace39@yahoo.com and will put them in the mail to you.

    • Funnvrenz

In the CVS ad they have cans of  Ariizona Tea that were originally 88 cents but is advertised as BOGO free at the 88 cent price.  But when you get to the store it's priced at 99 cents BOGO free.  I ask the girl who rung me up up why I was being charged the 99 cents and she stated “oh well, you're still getting a good deal at 99 cents”. I called the company and told them about the discrepancy and they said to ask for a refund.  They apparently have gotten a lot of complaints

      • Autie

I HATE that when the cashier says,, “Oh, well, you're still getting a good deal….”  That is code for, “I'm too lazy to figure out why there's a problem here.”  LOL  That's such a pet peive of mine.

      • Rkupton

I had this same problem. They said .88 if only buying one and .99 if doing BOGO. Thats crazy!

    • Sarah Tubbs

Does anyone know where to get the “CVS Big Savings booklet”?

      • mommabear

If u find out let me know, I called cvs around my house and they acted like they didn't know how to get one, or really didn't know what i was talking about..

        • Lizz

same here! where are the CVS booklets found?

          • Robinkinard

they are usually on a rack with some other magazines usually near or in the cosmetics aisle.  Most of the employees have no idea what or where they are

      • jhoran

I think its the “reinventing beauty mag”  that they are referring to….I picked up one today and those coupons were in there. It's .99cents.

      • jhoran

It is the “reinventing beauty mag”…..on the coupon page it says “big savings” but there's only 5 coupons in the entire mag. ..2 colgate, 1 irish spring, 1 lady speed stick and 1 nature made supplement.

    • Megan

Thanks for all you do! Here is my plan:

      2 Right Guard deodorant $6
      1 Dial Soap 3-pack $1.88

      – (1) b1g1 right guard q
      – $2 ECB (from previous week)

      oop: $2.88 + tax
      get back $3 ECB

ECB for next week: $1 (Dial), $2 (Right Guard), $5.54 (from previous week)

    • Mamag2112

what zip code for the huggies 3.00 coupon? Thanks!

    • Couponklipper

I decided to give CVS a try a few weeks ago and I'm confused about the coupons that should print at the kiosk. I scan my card each time I go in but it always says to check back tomorrow. Three visits over two weeks and no coupons. Am I missing something?

      • Yuliyaporter

@Couponklipper  Are you  sure  your  card  is  registered?  It  happened  to me  before when I thought  (and  was  told)  it  was  and  it  wasn't'. Just  a suggestion…

        • Couponklipper

@Yuliyaporter Thanks! I thought my card was registered but I'll check to be sure.

    • I am brand new at CVSing. However, I checked my local ad online (good through 5/14) and it said the coupon from the in-store coupon box this week is $3 off $10 worth of cosmetics. But when I scanned my card, it said there were not any coupons. What's up with that? Is there a daily limit?

      • jhoran

You need to go on-line and register your card and while you're on there, sign up for the “beauty club”. You will receive 5.00 ebc after you spend 50.00 on beauty items and that is before coupons.  Also, beauty items are not limited to make-up …. bodywashes, shampoos etc qualify.

    • KK

Pretty good day at CVS today:

Got Revlon mascara that had a bonus eyeshadow attached for $8.79
      Revlon eye shadow for $6.89

Used a $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon printed at Kiosk
Used 2 $2 off coupons that were peelies on the package

Ended up paying 8.68 and got $7 back in ECB
So 1.68 for mascara and 2 eyeshadows, not bad!!

    • blessedbeingmom

I stopped by my CVS (we just have one nearby) and they only have a few of each of the items (from my list) that will be on sale starting Sunday.  It doesn't look very promising so far!

    • megsc

If I buy 3 Nivea body washes at $4.88each that comes to $14.64. Will I get the $5 ECB because those items will be taxed or do I need to buy a Nivea lip care item too? Thanks!!

      • Charsilver

I think you'd do better to get 2 body washes and 1 lotion… The lotion costs a little bit more, so you'll reach the $15 mark- and if you have a $2 Q for the lotion, it makes up the difference in price. P.S The May “All You” magazine has Nivea Qs in it too :)

      • jhoran

It has to total 15.00 before coupons, although sometime the ebc will print if you're short about 3-5 cents on the total. Also ,the register keeps track and will let you know at the bottom of your receipt how much you need to buy to complete the deal.

      • laura

There's also B2G1 free in the June all you magazine which I got in my mailbox yesterday.

      • Awakeinhim

They base the ECB off of pre-tax total. Sorry, you will probably have to go over the 15 to get the $5.

      • Lmpate

No, you will not get the ECBs.  I did the Excedrin deal today and my total was like 14.67 before tax and it did not print my ECB.  The receipt showed I still needed to buy .33 cents worth of Excedrin.

        • Ami

I had the same problems.  But that was because they rang up cheaper than what was posted.  My CVS manager went ahead and gave me the $7.00

      • Guest

        they will print at 14.97

    • jhoran

WhoHooo … a whopping 5 coupons total in the mag……I'm thinking they forgot the other coupon pages because this is the first time I've ever seen so few coupons in this magazine.

    • Shari

Maybe I'm missing something, but I think the deal for Bandaids/Neosporin is better than you have posted.  5.39 + 2.89 = 8.28.  Deduct the $3 for health coupon printing and the $1.50 off coupon and that leaves $3.78.  After getting back $3 ECB for buying $7, that is only 78 cents each.  Did I figure something wrong?

      • Shari

Yikes, I had a senior moment.  Have to spend $10 to get $3 off.

      • ellasmom

You need to buy $10 worth of health products to get the $3. So what she meant was to buy 1 neosporin and 2 bandaids to bring the total up to qualify for the $3.I thought the same thing as you at first.

    • Brittanymojica25

i haven't couponed in a while i'm ashamed to say but i don't remember almost everything having a limit on it…what did i miss?

    • Volley89ballgirl

hey, where do you get the cvs big savings booklet?

    • Jtate119

For the stores that are not 24 hours, what time does the sale start on Saturday evenings?

      • Misty

        My store says 4:30.

      • guest

I didn't ask, but tried at 6pm one day and it didn't work.  :(

    • cs

awesome just noticed I will basically get 2 dollars free this week. I just got my coupon for a free john fredia hair color. so I get the $2 ecb without spending any money. woot

      • Autumn

If you have a target near by there's a better deal, use it at target: buy 2 use free coupon + 5 off coupon from paper +2 $5 off target coupons and you get a $5 gift card. That way you get 2 hair colors and make $8

        • cs

tried that but the target near me is remodeling and did not even have a spot for that hair color so I couldn't do it :( and did not even have a spot for that hair color so I couldn't do it :(

    • megsc

Anyone in the Charleston area know what time the 24 hr store on Savannah HWY begins their Sunday ad tomorrow? And will the ECB's still print tomorrow for Sunday's ad? Thank you!

    • $2 off ANY Lumene Skin Care product store coupon peelies ;) Buy 5 items for $3.99, use (5) $2 off 1 coupons – total = $5 after ECB!

      • Beth

The two stores near me both pulled the peelies yesterday so they couldn't be used during the sale. :(
I even asked (nicely and friendly), and the snooty manager who hates couponers said that she wasn't going to put them back out until the sale was over. So I put my items back and walked out, and they missed the sale.

    • Swtbuddy

can anyone tell me if we can use MQ with saving star coupon?

      • wagner2011

        Yes you can.

    • dean77

      Does CVS Honor expired ECB's?

      • Fgavent

Call customer service if your local store will not take.  People have posted that customer service will replace and you can reprint them online through your CVS account within 24 hours.

        • mom26boys

Oh, thank you for responding!  I was just really bummed because I just realized that I have $15 in ECBs that expired on the 10th.  We were out of town last week and I thought they expired this Sun.  Hopefully I can get them back! :)

          • Sdavisva

I think it varies by store.  So, if your regular store doesn't take them, you could try calling around town.  The only reason I know mine does is because the cashier mentioned it last week when I was checking out.

        • dadasgirls

I had one that expired, Local store said no and so did Cust Svc number.  It was only expired by less than 7 days.   Good luck to you!

    • laura

So I know the Nivea doesn't have an acorn next to it which means it isn't the best deal but what about this:
      4 Nivea Lip Care @ $2.99
      3 Nivea Body Washes $4.88
      (2) $2 off any two lip care
      (1) B2G1 Free
      (1) $1.00 Nivea Body Wash
      + 4 ECB
      = $12.72 OOP
+ 5 ECB = $7.20 for everything or $1.10 a piece…I mean is this really worth it or no?! I can also use my 10 ECB from my Neutrogena this week to make it $2?!

      • Megan

That should work, I don't see anything wrong there, good deal!

      • Henaomiller

you can get the lip care  free quite often with the 2/$2. q's.

        • laura

I'd love to hold on to them but they expire on the 21st and no one else's ad has Nivea on sale so I figure why not and with $5 ECB back I think it's not too bad a deal. Thank you though!

    • Cindyk1014

The coupon for Aussie or Herbal Essences B1G1 in 3/13 SS – has already expired.  The date on the coupon shows 4/30/11 not 5/15 .

    • Dian1979

were can i get a CVS coupon book???CVS coupon book???

      • cs

they were where the ads were at my store. They had some coupons not in the booklets (which cost 99 cents) near the register also

    • Caitlin

Anyone know of a CVS in Greenville, NC that starts deals on Sat Night???  I have a few coupons that expire today that I would love to use!

      • Vtkelly

I think any that are non 24 hrs do, I've been to several in Greenville on Sat. night after 6 pm.

I just had a great trip to CVS along with some of the great deals above, I found a few more deals…sorry if someone else might have mentioned I haven't read all the post..
Both of my local cvs stores had the pediasure sidekicks 4 pk chocolate only on clearance for $3.64 I used the $2 off coupons that were in the paper awhile back (sorry I'm not as organized as most~not sure which paper they were in) and also found Viactive Calcium plus D chews (caramel only)  on clearance for $4.89 and there was a $2 off coupon for that in a ss insert. Gerber 2nd foods 2pk was marked down to .44. I don't know what papers but just wanted to let you all know to check your store if these are something your interested in.

    • Katherinecguti

Great CVS trip for me tonight.  The coupon machine spit out a $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon, which was actually better than the health one for my trip.  We need sunscreen for an upcoming beach trip, so I bought 2 Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch 30 SPF (my favorite sunscreen) for $9.99 each (most were more than $9.99 and I didn't see any starting at $7.99 – just a heads up).  Total was $19.98.  I had the $2 printable and a $2 coupon from a tear pad that I got ages ago.  I used the $3 off cosmetics CVS coupon with no problem (sunscreen is more cosmetics than health in my opinion).  Total was $12.98 + tax, with $10 ECBs back.  Can't beat $20 in sunscreen for $3.  Yea!

    • Rachel

Could we use the $3 off $10 in health care on the Neutrogena sunscreen?

      • nancycrom

I was at CVS in the middle of the week and got a beauty club $3 off any $15 skin care q at the red box. I'm using that with the Neutrogena.

        • AllkindsaSavings

Just remember that many of those $3 off $10 and such do not work on the sales or clearance items. At least at my store in Durham, NC.

          • laura

I was able to use it on the Cetaphil sale last week, Summerville SC

          • Rhiannon353

I'm always able to use the $ off a certain amount on sales.  The ones you can't use on sales are the % off.  At least that's my experience.

        • yup, thats the one I used

      • Rhiannon353

I was wondering the same thing.  Were you able to find out?

      • Tiffany

yes! sunscreen is considered healthcare so you can use it! yaya! plus it's not taxed, well at least it's not in VA.

    • Struckdeals

It looks like the V8 coupon $1/2 is only for DIET V8 Splash.  Just a heads up.  Not sure all stores will carry the diet.  Just heads up

      • plattapus

My store let me use it for any of the V8's, as long as they met the size requirements.  We got 4 of the fruit juice blends. My store didn't even have diet V8 in stock, from what I could see.  I'm sorry you had problems.

    • Donna

I had a bad night at CVS! I was told that they have stopped starting their Sunday sales the Saturday  before the sales start. All Sunday sales do not start until Sunday. Boy, was I hot!  left my sales in the basket and left the store. I am writing to complain!

      • Jasky724

I went shopping a little after 5 this evening and got my sales. I am in VA. Why would a store care? Sat or Sun, they still make the sale.

        • guest

thats not necessarily true.  someone may come in saturday and buy that item at full price not knowing it will go on sale on sunday.  that makes the store more money.  the ad technically doesnt start until sunday.  no one should be complaining about this issue in the first place.  absolutely ridiculous.

      • Griffingirl69

that's crazy~mine starts at 4:30 …do you think she might have  just told you that or did you use the red box to check the prices and make sure if they were already marked down or not?

      • Autie

I feel bad for the employees in that situation….I hope you really didn't leave your sales items in the basket and walk out.  That's not fair to the store employees who have to go restock all that stuff just because you were angry.  I'm afraid it's situations like this that's the reason cashiers are so leery of couponers.  My sales start Sun., and it's nothing to get hot over.  You will still get your deals.

        • Crystalchuckgracie

even if they happen to be out, there are things called “rain checks”. couponing is supposed to be fun!

      • Guest

Why would you write and commplain? The ad doesn't not start till tomorrow so why would you get mad if they don't let you get tomorrow's deals. I think it is unfair that people go in on Saturday and get the Sunday deals for the simple fact that the people who actually wait till Sunday when the ad technically starts can not get anything because somebody went in on Saturday and bought the store out.

        • Crystalchuckgracie

          i totally agree.

        • Creekindiannana

I agree why would you get mad if they were helping you out!? If you really, really want the items be there when the store opens on Sunday. Simple.

      • Marysc1000

Each store decides when to start the Sunday sales.  One store in my area used to start about 2 PM on Saturday and has changed to start Sunday.  The other store starts around 6 PM on Saturday but keeps very quiet about it.
I don't understand why you are “hot”… the sales flyer says Sunday, and corporate has been trying to get the stores to wait and start then. You have nothing to complain about… just be happy you were able to do the Saturday thing for as long as you did.

      • Wilto

chill out, sunday sales are meant to start on Sunday.

      • ireneY

You don't have a leg to stand on. The ad clearly states the effective dates. Change your plans and adjust accordingly.
I didn't get upset when my store stopped taking expired ecbs. It was a bonus and I know not to use them now.

      • Tmroney

why shouldn't the Sunday sales start on Sunday????  It would be nice for it to be fair for everyone else who thinks they need to wait till Sunday.

      • Kgabrovic

I had no idea you could ever get the deals on Saturday.  That would explain why there was nothing left on the shelf when I went today, the day the sales were supposed to start.  Very frustrating.  This kind of stuff is giving couponing a bad name.

    • Lindasewcrazy

Can anyone tell me where the get more from your pharmacy booklet originated. Which store?

      • Shelby

These were laying on the counter (one sheet add) at the CVS in Kingsland Ga.  I also flipped through a “Reinventing Beauty” magazine that was on the counter there and saw the Pharmacy Savings page inside of it.

    • Amber

How do I get the CVS big savings booklet and the Get More From Your  Pharmacy booklet?

      • Bogeycat1

I too have been asking the question on where to get the “More from Your Pharmacy Booklet”.  Help Amber and I someone :0)

        • Vtkelly

I think I have seen someone write before about the pharmacy booklet that it came from Kroger.

    • Enoughsaid

    • $avin'some$

you guys think i can use a 5 off 25 emailed store q AND a 3 off 10 kiosk q in the same transaction?

      • Yuliyaporter

        yes, you can

      • blessedbeingmom

I have heard that you can, but your total bill (before coupons) would have to be $35 ($25+$10).  HTH!

      • Kirsten

Last evening I used a $4 off $20 emailed q and a $3 off $10 kiosk q and my total didn't equal $30. My total was like $25 or so.

      • Beth

        Mine wouldn't let me:(

      • Anonymous

Most of the time you can only use one $/$$ coupon per order but it probably depends on the store and cashier.

    • Dawnhon

What zip code do you have to use to get the Lady’s Speed stick coupon at coupons.com?

    • No $7.99 sun care at my store :( I still got a good deal though cuz i had a $3/$15 from red box that I used also.. And some Ecbs   Only $3.04

    • Ladymick253

      What does SavingStar deposit mean?

      • wendyc33

it is a new coupon program like upromise that coupons go on a card, and you can build up points to earn money to use at amazon. You have to read about the program on this site, or the savingstar website. It will explain better.

        • Psychsw

read it…still not clear on it .  After download can you also use a Manf. coupon, say  for the Hidden Valley, along with what u downloaded to your card?

    • Kaytlyn07

Hi,I work at the CVS in fairhope and the deal with the ad starting on sundays now is a corrporate thing. They had it where we could manually change the date and time in our computer in the office but now the computer WILL NOT let us change in early. Can not be until after 4:00pm on saturday afternoon…..Just wanted to let you guys know…I love my coupon shoppers(they give me great ideas)

      • CarrieC

I have a question that I hope you could maybe answer for me…..I seem to have lost 2 of my ECB coupons and I am just sick about it.  I am registered at CVS.com and can see on my account where it says I have earned those two and I was hoping to print them off my account but can’t figure out how to.  Will CVS reprint them for me at the store?  Thank you

    • Greg

      • Greg

I also bought 6 papers this morning, and kind of surprised the store clerk.
Before I checked out I removed just the RP/SS inserts and the Parade(for the mcd q). I paid for all 6 and then gave 5 to her to give to any customer who might want just the paper. My little service to the community. Besides, it beats just putting them in the bin.

    • Barbara H.

What is the CVS big savings booklet? HELP!!!

      • Kripley1229

I had the same question, so I Googled it…I saw on another site that it is a sheet of coupons found at the store.  HTH!

    • Halebop828

I used the $3 off $10 in Cosmetics coupon for the Sally Hansen Products that were B1G1 50% off last week, but the cashier didn't let me use it at first.  She said that nail polish was not considered cosmetics.  I grabbed one of the sale papers and respectfully pointed out that CVS must consider them cosmetics,  in bold print under the nail polish ad it said 'Buy one Sally Hansen COSMETIC Product get one 50% off.'  She then said she would do it this one time only and scanned the coupon!

      • Psychsw

It's very annoying, also, when the Manufacturers Coupon is deliberately misleading.   Sunday insert (not sure if RP or SS) had an ad for a new Olay product I was interested in and a $2.00 off coupon (I think…don't have ad handy right now).  The coupon had a picture of the new product on it along with facial wash and moisturizer.  When you read the coupon, you see that in spite of the picture of the new product on the coupon, it is not actually included in the $ off.  Tacky, tacky, Olay.  Makes a girl want to turn to Cetaphil!

    • jb

New to this, Not sure how this works. How is this $.99 $10 ECB WYB (2) Neutrogena Sun Care or Sunless Tanning, .47-6.7 oz, starting at $7.99 Limit 1

-$2 off Neutrogena suncare or sunless tanner printable, or printable

-$1 off Neutrogena Suncare item, SS 5/08, SS 3/27

(buy 2, use (2) $2 off coupons, makes it 99¢ ea.)

      • daffodil105

You buy 2 Neutrogena Suncare for $7.99 each = $15.98
Then you use 2 – $2 coupons for a total of $4 off making your total = $11.98 oop
Then you when you check out you will get extra care bucks at the bottom of your receipt for $10 making your total per item $.99

Also the Manager at my CVS in Lake Wylie, SC told me that starting next week (or the week after not sure i remember which week) but to make sure that you go every week that they will have a deal with a $10 gas card for every week from now until September.  She did not say exactly how it was going to work, but I can always use cheap or free gas.  So lets keep a look out for that deal.

        • Crafty_cat_86

I saw an upcoming ad and it looks like a deal where you buy $30 in products, get 10 ECBs, except it's a free gas card and not ECBs.  Since I'm already rolling all my bucks, I'm not super excited about it…

    • Amber

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the Hidden Valley paper coupon is for their “Farmhouse Originals” line, and the SavingStar coupon is for the original ranch.

    • Kj

can anybody tell me,neutrogena sun care can be considered as health care products or not?  if not which other products come under healthcare

      • SciFiMom

I used the $3 off this morning on Neutrogena Sun Care… wasn't sure it would work, but it did…

      • NorthALCouponer

I used the $3 off as well.  I figure it's a health care product since my FSA reimburses for sunscreen.

      • cs

they wouldnt let me use it

      • Mcnel95

Mine worked just fine with the neutrogena sun care products.

      • Sandy565

I  used the $3 off $10 health product coupon. I did ask the cashier beforehand if I could use it and she said “I don't see why not!”

    • Sbask

Went to my CVS today in Stone Mountain, GA with my coupons printed directly from Neutrogena's website and was told by the manager that they do not except internet coupons??  Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Courtney Wilkins

if you can print out the coupon policy at the top of the page (to the right) and take it to them

      • Sdavisva

If you contiue to have issues, you could call CVS's 800 number.  I had an issue awhile back where they said I couldn't use a b1g1 coupon with a b1g1 sale.  The cs on the phone was FABULOUS and actually called the store while I waited on the line.  HTH!

        • Sbask

Excellent.  Thanks for the tip.  I will follow up on that.

      • Jessica5757

well they lied. if they can scan it they can take it. im a cvs employee. call corporate on them. 1 800 SHOP CVS

    • Dawnhon

I never get the CVS coupons printed that Jenny says will print at coupon center. It really messes up my shopping list if I count on it to print and then it don't. Does anyone else NOT get the coupons printed also?

      • Proudlyamom

I usually don't either…first time in over a year was last week.

      • Sometimes you have to put your card under the scanner, let it beep and then put it under there again really quick to get all of the print out coupons. Maybe the machines are old? ;)

      • germangirl

I'm with you I never get them either.:(

      • Kenzbug

I always get candy bar coupons or coupons to save on CVS brand products.

    • blessedbeingmom

      Today I bought:
      2 V8 Veggie Juices
      1 Hello Kitty Bandaid
      1 Toy Story Bandaid
      1 can Black Olives
      2 Newton cookies
      10 cans tuna
      2 Olive Oils
      1 Neosporin ointment

I used the coupon for $3/$10 Healthcare, $4/$20 (emailed), 6 ECB from last week, plus a variety of other coupons.  My total OOP was $20.08 & I saved a total of $54.28!!!

      • blessedbeingmom

Forgot to add that I got $1 ECB from the V8 & the $3 ECB from the bandaids did not print.  However, when I pointed it out, they printed them for me.  :)

    • Dillman Coupons

I just returned from my Columbus, Ohio suburb CVS to my surprise they are NOT honoring the ad this week and again in a week in July. They said they are running a test to see if they need their ads or not. I was extremely disappointed.

      • Missyriehle27

I know!!!I had the same thing happen here in Chillicothe!!I was very disapointed and I guess I will be returning all the stuff I purchased today!

    • Luvjeffbates

Can someone help me?  Trying to use the saving star website.  Created account and loaded my rewards cards for several stores. When I try to add a coupon it tells me I need to load my rewards cards. So, I try to load them again and it says they already have my card!

      • Michelle Sharp

Try logging out, clearing your cookies and cache, then log in again. If that doesn't work, try again but this time restart. Sometimes you need to clear your cache log.

    • Andrea

Can someone help me to understand the Right Guard deal? I just don't see how it would come to $.24 each.?.?.?

      • I dont know…I was going over it and considering there is no $.50 off coupon they would actually be more like $.50 each. But still a great deal! :) Thats taking both products at $2.99 each = $5.98 for both, then with the B1G1 coupon that makes them $2.99 for both. Then you get a $1 ECB for each so when you get both of those back it makes it $.99 in the end for both. Roughly $.50 each.

        • Psychsw

Kicking myself…missed it by a day.

      • If you have the 50¢ coupon it would be:
        2 X 2.99 = 5.98
        – 2.99 BOGO coupon = 2.99
        – 50¢ coupon = 2.49
        – $2 ECBs you will receive = 49¢ for 2
        = 24.5 each.
The 50¢ coupon is not listed in the ad portion of the post.
There is also a $1 off RG store dispenser coupon floating around which would make them both free if you had it.

    • Mounit98

Can someone help? These coupon websites arent working……

    • Greg

For the 3/10 redbox q. If i buy a vitamin that is 5.49 B1G1 and I get 2, does that meet the 10 dollar requirement since it would be 10.98 before b1g1?

      • No, because only 5.49 would be rung up.

        • Greg

That could actually work out better. buy 4 at 10.98 use the 3/10q and 4 -1/1 qs from the RP5/15 for $3.98 for 4 bottles of vitamins or  .99c each.

          • Greg

And I still have a $1 ecb so i could cut it down to 2.98. nice…I think I have a trip to make tomorrow.

            • Sounds like a good plan to me.

    • Mrsleurs524

I went to get my .99 sunscreen but they had NO sunscreen for $7.99. THe cheapest they sell is $9.99 but most were $12-$14 so its not nearly as good a deal as I expected.

      • Sandy565

Yes, I found that out as well but I was able to use the $3 off $10 health product with the sunscreen!

    • Abspearman

I goofed up printing my coupons for Neutrogena suncare at their site, but can't find a zip code that works on RedPlum.  Has anyone found a zip code that works??

    • Couponing_princess

i cant even print some of these coupons website just comes back with an error message…lame!

    • Couponhav6

would sunscreen count as healtcare at CVS?

      • Susan

I would say yes.  As long as the cashier is fine with it, the coupon will work.  Actually those store coupons will work on literally everything in the store.  The cash register only beeps on manufacturer coupons.

        • Griffingirl69

that is exactly what the cashier at my local store told me, that you can basically use the red box coupons with anything

      • Amber

I tried to use the 3 off 10 coupon with the sunscreen and it beeped — the cashier wouldn't take it.  Maybe someone else will be lucky.  :(

      • Fourisit

a coupon for $3 off a healthcare purchase printed out at the red box at cvs and I used it to purchase the two Neutrogena products with no problem. I also had 2 Q's – each for $2 off and then some ECB from last week. Spent $7.40 on two full-size sunscreen products and got $10 ECB back plus a coupon for $3 off the next purchase of $15 which I used to purchase Purex, Pronamel, Aussie x2, and Speedstick deo and two candy bars. Used previous 10 ecb and coupon matches and paid $1.06 and got 5 ecb back at the end and a coupon for 30% off next purchase. So if the Lipton tea ever shows up in stock I can still get it.  Love CVS shopping when it works like that!!!

        • I wrote how disappointed I was w/ CVS above, but I've GOT to shop there at least this week, b/c I too received the 30% off purchase when my hubby picked up my meds tonight, plus the 2 $$ of coupons from the CVS Care Card computer….I can only use it on FULL priced items, but, I've got pretty good coupons for things so the 30% off will still buy some great stuff w/ the coupons I have. Plus I've got $17 in  ECBs that I didn't use in my last transaction b/c the manager was SUCH a jerk. Liked that surprise 30% off coupon!

      • Jessica5757

that coupon can be used on alot of things its up to the cashier to see if they will take it or not.! to see if they will take it or not.!

    • CJ

Does someone have a zip code that worked to get the Disney vitamins coupon? Thanks!

    • Shannon

Was so excited to see that the Right Guard deodorant had a free little bottle of bodywash attached to it. Got 4 deodorants, used my Q's, and got 4 free little bodywashes. Yay!

    • lucy

How do I get the CVS big savings booklet??

      • Jodi

I found the coupons she lists from it in a “Reinventing Beauty” magazine at the front of the store – it cost $0.99, but it was worth it for the coupons, in my opinion.

        • Awaugh88

My CVS had stacks of the coupons next to magazine for free! I ended up buying the magazine incase anyways. The magazine has the same coupons inside that  I got for free … Oh well. It had a $1 off Colgate coupon on the back of the magazine though…

    • luv2shop

For less than $2.50 today I got deodorant, soap and olive oil. Thanks, Jenny!

    • SweetGirl

Ok, I was VERY DISSAPOINTED today in CVS, promised Neutrogena suncare for 0.99 after coupons and ECB was not truth!!! Cheapest suncare is 10.99$, so
22$-2 2$off=18$ and get 10 ECB, you still pay 8$ for 2 or 4$ each one and not 0.99 each!!! Be ready folks!!!

      • Beth

The Neutrogena suncsreen was 11.27 at my store!  That was the cheapest too!  I bought it though because it was still cheaper than buying one at my Walmart and I use it every day.  I ended up paying almost $11 for 2 sunscreen, a 3 pack of soap, 1 Ladies Speedstick, & a candy bar for my kids.

      • Dtcox1

watch the travel sizes they did have jergens tan travel size for 2.99 the cashier said they did have a few left from last year neutrogena sun . holden my coupons for now causr she said any day they are suppose to get in all new travel products so maybe ill get luckt god bless

      • Where is a promise? Mine was more expensive and I used $3/$15 store coupon to help…

      • Lynn

$4 is still a fantastic price for suncreen in the spray bottles, you can't find them ANYWHERE that cheap…

The only $7.99 sunscreen is the sunscreen STICKS, perhaps your store didn't carry those, but to be fair CVS never promised anything.

    • Nathanandjessecollins

I felt like I won the lottery today at CVS.  The Neutrogene suncare were 10.99, which is not what I was hoping for, but when I walked over the coupon printing machine I got lucky.  It printed a $4 off $20 and a $3 off $15 skin care coupon.  I was able to use both of those along with 2-$2 off coupons and 2 ecb from last week.  This took my total under $10.00 and I received $10 ecb back.  I used those to buy 2 of the Scotts paper towels with 2-$1 off coupons and a speed stick deo.  Paid a $1 and change and got back 2-$2 ecb. All in all I was very happy with that.

      • Psychsw

        Now that's cool !

    • Rox101

Had a not so good experience at CVS the other night. Went in for the spend 15 on Revlon cosmetics, get 7 ECB. I tried to use two of the $2/1 Revlon coupons for each of the two Revlon products I was buying in my transaction. The register beeped when the cashier scanned my second coupon, something about it stating that it exceed the manufacturer limit. The manager came over, and explained to me that the coupons stated one per purchase. I explained that I thought that meant one coupon per item purchased in my transaction. So since I was purchasing two Revlon products, I should be able to use one $2/1 coupon for both items If it meant it the way they were stating it meant, wouldn't the coupon say one coupon per transaction? I want to make sure I am stating this correctly, and driving my point across without being rude/inconsiderate to the store employees. They gave it to me this time, but she was clear about it meaning one coupon per my entire purchase.

      • Mommyakc

I had something like this happen to me at my local CVS. The manager told me one coupon per purchase, while the cashier was trying to explain to him that the coupon meant per product. He also told me that if I tried to use a B1G1 coupon with a $ off coupon I would be commiting coupon fraud. They had me concerned I might actually be doing something wrong. So, I called CVS customer service. They apoligized and said that the store was in error and that it sounded like there needed to be retraining on coupon policy. They were really nice. I would call the customer serice number for sure. They might not listen to us but they might just listen to their coorporate office.

      • I had a very similar experience, but with MULTIPLE purchases, and the manager refused the coupons and gave me a hard time (more than 10 minutes or so) when I asked them to void the items off of the transaction b/c I wasn't going to pay full price for them…see above, not shopping at that CVS anymore!

    • Leighscouponing

i cant find the printable coupon for the lady speed stick what  zip code do you use

    • HM1968

I went to CVS yesterday and purchased a box of huggies diapers and huggies wipes to get the $5 ECB when you purchase $25 or more in huggies products. I had also scanned my ECB card and got 2 coupons – $4 off a $20 purchase and $3 off a $10 manuf. coupon for huggies wipes.  The casher scanned the $3.00 coupon first but the register wouldn't take the $4 coupon.  The manager came over and very nicely said it was fine to use all 4 coupons.  After getting the $5 ECB on my receipt, I only paid $10 for a $19 box of diapers & a $6 box of wipes.  I wish that would happen more often!

      • HM1968

Oops, I mean to say that I had also scanned my ECB card and got 2 coupons – $4 off a $20 purchase and $3 off a $10 healthcare purchase.  In addition, I had a $2 manuf. coupon for huggies diapers and a $.50 coupons  for huggies wipes.  I was able to use all 4 coupons.  Sorry, I'm not sure how part of my paragraph got deleted!

        • Cathy

Agh! I got a $3 off a $10 healthcare purchase and I didn't think to use this coupon along with the Huggie deal!!!

          • Leigh

I was just wondering if the $3 off $10 healthcare purchase would apply to diapers. So the answer is yes??

            • Cathy

I would give it a try…. I may go back tomorrow and see if they got any of the Nivea lotion stocked…

            • When I asked the manager on duty at my CVS what this would cover, he told me it would be things like vitamins, protein bars, band aids, neosporin, bengay, OTC cold & flu items, pain relievers, etc… So, based on his answer, I would think NO. I'm so unhappy w/ my CVS and the way the manager treated me last time, that I'm either not shopping there after this week or I'll switch stores (the other 1 is 10 miles away, I'm pretty sick and in a wheelchair so that would be SO INCONVENIENT!) CVS WAS my favorite store….I may just call and ask who the manager on duty is… He told me I was trying to copy the “extreme couponing show” which I've only watched once, read the blogs about their lies, and I've been couponing and blogging LONG BEFORE that show came on!

    • Greg

I just found out my credit care reward points are good for a $50 CVS gift card. I love shopping for free.

      • Yuliyaporter

@63e764cda456af38f4988c1a404ac3a8:disqus hi, what points are you  talking about?  thanks

        • Greg

Just a regular credit card. I have a Citibank credit card that accrues points for spending. I can use those points for items.

          • Dixie

You can really get the card for free?  That would be awesome.  We have a citibank with rewards points too, but to get a cvs card or some such, you can get a $50 for $45.  I guess you save $5, but I wish it worked like yours!

    • Just did a CVS trip, I also got a bonus coupon for $3 off $15 grocery purchase, I am in metro Detroit.  Worked out great as I bought 2 olive oil, 2 mayo, 2 salad dressing, and two V8 drinks which came to 15.96, OOP after all coupons and redeemed ECB just 4.96, super happy with my trip.

    • Clueless301

do u need filler items at cvs?

      • cs

      • Nora

you do not, extra care bucks do not count as coupons

    • Heidi

Where/How do you get the CVS Big Savings Booklet?

    • Sjhatcu

When it says Limit 1, like the speedstick deal, does that mean one per transaction? Could you do multiple transactions for as many coupons as you had?

      • Jessica5757

no limit one means only one buy per cvs card

      • Bamasaver

Usually means one ECB per CVS card.  You could probably buy more than one, but you will only get the ECB once.

    • Brunette24_07

The $2.00 off coupon for the Wisk laundry detergent is for 50 oz or larger. The Wisk detergent's that are on sale for $4.99 are UNDER 50 oz so you can NOT use the $2.00 coupon on them. You can still use the $1.00 off coupon for them though.

      • dixie

yes i just figured that one out lol. but at my cvs i trying it anyways and they took my 2.00 coupon.  :)

      • Jamitim

bilo has better deal unitl tuesday 17th. wisk is 3.99 and you can use 2.00 off makess it 1.99

      • Gatorginger

the coupon says 45 oze or larger and yes you can use the coupon I did yesterday on those and the ounce size was fine as I made sure

    • dixie

my cvs does not honor saveing star coupons why is that ??

      • Barbara

When you sign up for Saving Star, you add your shopper cards on your account. When you use your card at any store, as long as you have loaded it on your saving star account, you will get credit on your account when you purchase an item you have “saved” a coupon for. The amount does not come off at the register, and the store doesn't even have to know it exists. HTH!

    • bbg

I tried the CVS couponing today for the first time…… epic fail. They were out of everything I went for.  I am guessing going on Sunday is the best way to do this.  Does anyone know if they do rain-checks?  I should have asked while I was there but didn't think of it until now.

      • Leighscouponing

they do rain checks and they never  expire

      • DiscountsinTx

Try asking the manager when their trucks come in. The ones at my store are wonderful and very helpful. Sometimes a weekday is the best. Usually the morning after their trucks come in. This is when they have the most in stock items and your best chance to grab a few.

      • Gatorginger

Yes they take rain checks and you still get your ecbs on the items with rainchecks so that is what is great about CVS whereas at Walgreens you can get rainchecks but you can't get the RR after the sale is over.

    • Hailey Hurst 22

I went to CVS for ibuprofen for my teething baby and scanned my card just cuz I was there. It gave me a $4 off allegra, $2 of Huggies pull ups, $1 off tampons/pads. Then register printed a $5 off allegra and my cashier said that my CVS now will accept their coupons if they are expired. Woo.

Will I be able to use:
      $5 cvs allegra
      $4 Manu allegra
      $3 off ten health care?

Also my ad said Huggies coupons in most papers, did anyone actually get these?! I need and am constantly hunting for diaper/formula coupons. Lol.

      • Gd53442

        Hailey –
Send me your address and I'll mail you the diaper coupons I have, including the ones you are asking about. I am new to couponing and do not have a lot (I bought my first paper on 5/1 and I only buy one Sunday paper), but I do not mind sharing.

      • Cathy

I went to the Huggies website and was able to print off a $3.50 coupon off 60 count or more. I used it for the Huggie deal…

      • Smamf1922

If you'll email me at smamf1922@gmail.com I'll be glad to send you all the diaper coupons I have.  My granddaughter just started “pottying like a princess”.  Do you subscribe to the PUBLIX baby club?

    • Dburzotta

How do I get the CVS coupon booklets listed above (get more from your pharmacy and the big savings booklet)? Is it mailed to your home or in store?

      • The Big Savings booklet is inside CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine. It
costs 99 cents in their store and comes with lots of coupons!  The Get More From your Pharmacy booklet is located in Kroger pharmacies – your store may or may not still have this booklet as it is pretty old.

    • Cherry

Think I can use the John Freida free Color Foam coupon and get the ECB back?  Forgot to post – the answer is on sale for $11.99, coupon is for up to $12.99, the pharmacy dept sold it for $11.99, took $12.99 off AND I got the $2.00 ECB – SWEET!

      • Gatorginger

Yes you can I did it yesterday and I got mine free plus the $2.00 ecb

    • BB

Would some one please explain the Saving Star ecoupon and the Saving Star account.

    • Trice

      What isthe CVS Coupon Booklet

    • Awaugh88

Where do you get the  CVS Big Savings booklet ???? Someone please tell me…

      • Maria

Was about to ask the same question.

      • Chanceymom

I would like to know the same thing! Can someone help us out?

      • You can find this booklet inside CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine. It costs 99 cents in their store and comes with lots of coupons!

        • Mendy

Where is the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine at in the store?  Is it near the makeup or checkout??

    • Julie

I don't know if people already knew this, but I've been shopping at CVS for a year and didn't so I thought I would share: some CVS's take expired CVS coupons ($5 off $25, ECB's etc;). I have been able to use a few lately at my store, and got a great deal with the diapers/wipes this week because I had my $5 off $25 coupon that expired last week. Just thought i'de share!

      • DebTN

I wonder if it depends on the store? I was in CVS yesterday and didn't realize my $5 off $25 had expired Saturday. The clerk scanned it a couple of times but it kept beeping and I couldn't use it.

        • Tjmj9801

All expired CVS Q's will beep and it totally depends on the store and cashier whether or not they will let you use them.

        • Julie

Yes mine beeped and the lady has to key it in. manually So yes I suppose it depends on the store/cashier. Sorry it didn't work for you!

      • Cathy

The CVS I shop at will take them IF they are within the week. Mine was from last Sunday and they would not take it. Must depend on the store.

    • momof3

I know this question has been asked before but I cant find previous answer…when purchasing $15 to get $5 ecb must my total be $15 after using coupons

      • Chanceymom

You always use your coupon that has to be for a certain total First! Then you use all other coupons.  As long as your total is $15 before tax you are good.

      • Ddech

        The $15 is before coupons.

      • kelly straw

no i work at cvs your total before any kind of savings has to be $15

    • Marlie

I am addicted to shopping at CVS now.  This past Sunday I got 2 Neutrogena sunscreens, 1 box of 20 count Claritin, 2 packs of soap, and 2 deodorants for $20.  I also have 3 ECBs to use at my next visit.  My son has to take Claritin and usually the Claritin alone costs appx. $20.  I am so happy with my savings!  :D

    • Rah1976

not sure where to ask this cvs question…. is there any way to get expired ecb's reissued… would i call customer service or talk with a store manager?   we were on vacation and then i misplaced my ecb's and had over $10 expire the beginning of the month…makes me sick…

      • Kaelaj89

I don't know how your CVS works, but ours will take expired extra bucks and expired catalinas from the red machine. Maybe yours will too!

      • sunflowerhappyme

My CVS takes expired ECB's and expired coupons for up to about a month. Just ask your manager. It is usually up to their discretion.

    • Kaelaj89

How do you get a CVS Home mailer? I looked on their website but didn't find it. Thanks.

      • Smamf1922

Their major flyer is in the newspaper.

      • ireneY

They must mail Qs based on past purchasing habits. I got a couple of postcards with CVS Qs for certain products recently. They don't come often, though. Keep on shopping and make sure they have your correct address on file. ~shrug~

    • MomOf4

FYI, you can use the $3 off Neutrogena product in All You for the suncreen this week.  I was able to use 2 of those, the $3 off healthcare and a 10% coupon for joining the beauty club.  The cheapest sunscreen they had was $10.50, but saved $11 in Q's, plus 8 ECBs.  So I only paid $2 out of pocket and got 10 ECBS!

    • Question– Got a coupon for 25% off entire purchase excluding Sale Items. I'm guessing all of these are excluded?

      • NoleGirl

Actually, the huggies deal is not on “sale items”, just regular price, and the Neutrogena sunscreen deal is  also regular price.  Not sure about others but I know I already got those.

    • Check your email!  I just got a coupon for 25% off now through 5/21!  (excludes sale items)

    • Debbie

Any one know where I can find the CVS Big Savings Booklet?

      • This booklet is in the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine. It costs 99 cents, but then has some great coupons.

    • tarnold68

I'd like to know how to get the CVS Big Savings Booklet as well as the CVS Home Mailer and the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet.  I've never seen them and when I asked at my CVS the staff doesn't know anything about them.  Any ideas?

    • Crafty_cat_86

FYI, the 3/10 coupon only prints out once a week (I saw in the ad after I tried today to get a second one: limit one per household).  I was going to try to get $3 off of each of my suncreens, but still a good deal at $4 oop!  (plus got two q's this week for $2 off stand up bags of pieces, MY FAVORITE!!, that made 2 free with the $2/2 manu q!)

      • Caroline

Boo, I didn't know it was only once for the week!  I used mine yesterday on Claritin for my kids who desperately need allergy medicine every day.  We call it “sneezy medicine.”  I was hoping to go back and get another one to use for the sunscreen deal!  I also got the $2 off pieces/minis candy q and did the same deal for two free bags!  Super excited about that!

        • Caroline

It's not only twice a week!  I got another $3/$10 today when I scanned.  Used it to do the sunscreen deal!

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Where did you get the $2/2 Q for Reeses Pieces?

    • Dtcox1

i have asked for a month about the savings booklet too the manger in v a  said every body has asked and he has not had one shipped to him yet in our area maybe sometime 'ps got some things sunday and it did not give the 5.00 eb on the bottom of my ticket it said to call corp . so i did monday morning . said i was picked at ranmon to get a new card in mail  and go and scan and get my ex bucks in two days .said i was a big shopper and my card was old . dont know what this is ////  my card is pretty new so we will see*******

    • Happy CVSer

My store had apparently forgotten to take their previous sale prices off the Neutrogena Sunscreen (I'm guessing they were all $7.99 last week?), so I managed to get two really awesome sunscreens for super cheap because the cashier did a price override. I bought two of the sunscreens  and two Princess Gummies Vitamins (B1G1), used (2) $2-off coupons for the sunscreen, (2) $1-off coupons for the vitamins, the $3 off when you buy $10 in Healthcare coupon, and $8 in ECBs. My total OOP  for all 4 products was $8.36, and I got $10 back in ECBs.

Anyway, from my shopping trip I deduced that the sunscreen DOES in fact qualify as a healthcare purchase, since the vitamins alone wouldn't have met the $10 purchase requirement for the coupon on their own. I was figuring that they would, since higher SPFs qualify as FSA purchases. I would have tried the coupon by itself, but the vitamins would a deal I couldn't pass up. :-)

I'll be going back soon for the paper towels, Dial soap, Sure deodorant, and Speed Stick deodorant deals. If I'm calculating it right, I shouldn't pay more that $5 for my next total after using ECBS. Plus I'll get $5 in ECBs back. I ? CVS!

      • ireneY

        Good job!

I think the CVS Qs don't beep unless they are expired. I bought a clearanced bag of M&Ms and the cashier said I could use the $.25/2 candy Qs that have been spitting out. I was skeptical, but sure enough, it went through! The $3/10 healthcare Q may be up to your cashier's mood. ~shrug~

    • momof4boys

Here's my question:  If and item is regular price (or on sale) and you have two B1G1 coupons, are both items free???

      • DebTN

No, you can only use 1 b1g1 coupon on 2 reg price items so you have to pay for one. If the items are on sale b1g1, you can use a b1g1 coupon to get them both free.

        • momof4boys

…and so if I have two b1g1 qs and the store has them on sale b1g1, I can get four free???

          • Rh

            • momof4boys

Thank you DebTN and RH. ;-)

            • Craziecat

i love this idea and i have not tried it yet ( i hate bringing items to the register and if coupons do not work  i have to tell the cashier to void them) so, exactly how does it work since you are not actually “buying”one?

            • DebTN

On a b1g1 store sale, with a b1g1 coupon, the store is giving you one and you are paying for the other one with your coupon.

    • Awaugh88

My savingstar coupon never took the $1 off for the wisk coupon :(

      • Mshlljnsn

Could someone help me understand exactly how Savingstar works?

      • Griffingirl69

I have purchased a few things also that have not been credited to my ss account, so I checked again and I'm pretty sure it states that your account will be credited in 7-30 days? someone correct me if I'm wrong. It does not take off the coupon at the store, it credits your ss account

        • FreedomSpradley1

You are exactly right that the SavingStar coupons do not come off at the register.  The value of the eCoupon will deposit to your SavingStar account in 7-30 days.

    • Stephanie B

I opened my email this morning, and I received a 25% off your entire purchase coupon from CVS good through 5/21/11, excludes sale items.

    • Twoods117

I was told that the $3 off $10 Q could NOT be used on sunscreen, they didn't even try it!  I had to go back today bc they forgot to give me $2 back from my change. I had to wait to make sure the drawer was $2 over.  Then they gave me some trouble about using the coupon on Bandaids, Crazy!  but, FYI the Transformer Bandaids are ringing up for .87.  I am glad you all have had better luck this week : )

      • mommabear

u bought bandaids for .87cents shew I went to rite aid and spent 4 something on barbie bandaid and thats includin coupon, I don't think I'll ever get the hang of coupons….good job on the bandaids!!!!

        • katie

Its kinda like this…you use 25 dollars in gas to go to 12 different stores to save 8 dollars on 6 items you will never use.

          • Khjbcoupns

wrong katie…a couple weeks ago i went to 4 different stores with coupons and shopping list in hand was back home in 62 minutes.. just over an hour… and made a round trip of 6 miles.. just to the grocery store and back alone would have been 4 miles…i wanted to make sure that this couponing thing was worth my time and energy.. considering i saved 84% on what i purchase i certainly think i was the winner… it pays to plan and stick to the plan….

          • ireneY

$25 dollars in gas? Do you drive a big rig around town?

      • Gatorginger

I used a $3 off $15.00 skin care cvs coupon and I bought the neutrogena sun care and had no problem.

    • Nathanandjessecollins

First I would like to say thank you.  I never walked into CVS or Walgreens until about a month and a half ago.  I always felt they were way overpriced.  I heard about this site and gave it a try.  As of today at CVS I have saved $493.  That is in the last month and a half.  My family has a good supply of things and many products that we would never have even tried due to cost.  I don't know if CVS missed me or what but the last two times I went there the machines are being generous.  Sunday I got a 4 off of 20, 3 off of 15 skincare, and a 3 off of 10 healthcare.  Today I went to do the bandaide deal and went to the coupon machine.  It gave me 5 ecb for beauty club, a 4 off of 20, 3 off of 10 healthcare again.  So I got bandaides, neosporin, cvs brand childrenss zyrtec, and three small bags of frito chips.  After using coupons and ecb I paid 4.16.  I expected to get 3ecb and 1ecb for chips and bandaides, but got those plus 5 more ecb for beauty, a 4 off of 20 and a 3 off of 10 healthcare again.  Not sure why is gave me those again, but I'm not complaining.

has anyone been able to use the new e coupons through savingstar.. i signed up.. registered all of my customer loyalty cards.. .selected the items i wanted loaded to my cards.. which included 1.00 off hidden valley salad dressing.. the e coupons did not come my total when i checked out at cvs this afternoon.. and when i talked with the manager she said that she didnt know anything about the savingstar ecoupons.. still got it for .99 .. can you stack the ecoupon and the manufactures coupons????

      • Go to savingstar's website and re-read how it works.   You use your loyalty card at checkout (note: your bill will stay the same). Your money is automatically added to your SavingStar account! Once the account reaches $5 you choose how they pay it to you with paypal, an amazon card or a bank deposit.

        • Khjbcoupons

thanks so much.. i remember now…

    • HappyCVSer

I still have some of my $5-off Physicians Formula coupons. Does anybody know if the “Eyelights” powders or other eyeshadow products are included in the $6-off deal. I know blush is, for sure… But wouldn't eyeshadow be considered a “powder” product?

      • Hannah Lane

I'm pretty sure eyeshadow would not be considered powder, but just scan one under the price checker just to be sure!

    • Khjbcoupons

thank you calhoun ga cvs…. i wish i could remember the managers name…. she was so helpful and allowes me to get an item that is comparable to the one on sale when the shelf is empty of the item i want… she is great….

    • Angie

our cheapest suncare that qualified was 10.79! so i passed on this deal! i wish i could of found the items that would of make it .99!

      • Jennifer

Ditto for our CVS, but I was able to use my $3.00 off $10 worth of health care products on sunscreen, so I justified it.

FYI the Neutrogena $2/1 coupon is still working through their website. Just click on Special Offers at the top of the page.

Thanks!  I was disappointed they were gone.

Also, I got a coupon from the printer that is $4 off the John Frieda Foam. If you don't have the free coupon you can pair it with the $5 off SS coupon and it comes out to only $1. I think I'll try it!

I don't usually get any of the ones out of the red machine that I want, but today I wanted to do the huggies deal above (w/ 3.50/1 from huggies website) and a $4 off diapers and wipes printed from the machine!  Wow, really helped, especially since I'd already used my savingstar at kroger this week.  I'm so stocked on diapers–I love it!

The coupon machine printed a $4 off when you buy diapers and wipes coupon that I was able to use along with my 2 $2 off Huggies CVS coupons and my $3.50 manu coupon for diapers.  Total $15.50 for box of 60 diapers and bag of wipes with $5 ECB!  Great deal!

That is awesome, but how do you get the CVS coupons? Do you have to sign up for the CVS homemailer?

Has anyone else bought Claritin this week and noticed on their receipt the “Claritin Free Extras”?  Mine says buy two 20ct, get a free 10 ct.  Will a coupon for a free 10 ct print off after you purchase a second 20 ct?  The children's is on sale this week for $15.99, which with a $2 mq and the $3/$10 store q, it's not a bad deal, esp if you find the boxes that have an extra 5 attached to it.  My question is, is this a deal only for this week? Or is it monthlong?  Just wondering if I need to stop by there tomorrow!

PLEASE HELP!!  I had a terrible experience at CVS tonight.  I've been going there for years with no problems but tonight was a nightmare.  I wanted to do the Nivea deal (Buy $15, get $5 ECB).  I had a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” coupon and (2) $1/1 coupons.  The manager said I could not use any other coupons if I used a BOGO coupon.  She said I was “cheating.”  I've always done this without a problem.  In fact, I did it at Walgreen's with the Old Spice body wash right before I was at CVS.  Has the policy changed???

Does anyone know if the right guard deal is the same one as the one in last week's ad?  Just wondering if I can do it again.  Thanks!

im having a hard time breaking my items up into 'smart” transactions…or does it even matter how u break it up?!?!?

    • I have $4 in RR from buying a Revlon Nail Polish this morning.  There is a limit of 6.  If I buy another one, and use the RR from the Revlon Transaction, will another $4 still print out?
