    • Jena2727

Are you all finding these marked? I went in last night after hearing about these deals but didn’t find anything marked other than CVS brand H & S. Didn’t have time to scan everything…

      • Jordan

Most of them are not marked, so if you have a chance try to go in and scan them =)

        • Amber, NC

Most of them are sold out since they’ve been on sale for a few days now. I went to 2 stores. All of the unmarked items that I scanned were not on sale. :(

      • Monkzardo

They were all marked at my store.

    • MomOf4

Was able to get 6 Pantenes, 1 GUM Perioshield rinse and added a few items to bump up to $25 to use the $5/$25 CVS Q.  Added 2 small lotions and a box of teddy grahams….total ZERO, paid only 0.90 tax.

    • Melissa

The magic coupon machine gave me a $2 off any Axe Shampoo or Conditioner coupon. They are also on clearance for $1.67!

    • Jordan

My CVS had Head and Shoulders marked to $3.14 (still not a bad deal as I had the $1/2 coupon and received $4 ECBs for buying two). Then decided to grab 4 of the Herbal Essences. The shampoo rang up at $0.99 and the conditioner was $1.99. I ended up getting 6 of the Herbal Essences because they had an entire shelf full.

    • Ellie

My CVS has a good bit of cosmetics on clearance 50% to 75% off – I guess they are colors being discontinued or last season.

    • Anonymous

Bought 4 bottles of Head & Shoulders and got $6 ECB. The limit at one time seems to be 3 bottles with a total of 6 deals, so buy 3 bottles in separate transactions. Hope that makes sense!

    • Rissa24

Some Garnier Frutuis (spelling) products are also on clearance.

    • just got mine here in Orlando Fl, 15 products, shampoo, conditioner, gel etc. total worth $93.00 and only spent $12.10.  stocked up for the next 6 months. thanks for the info today.

I’m over here directly east of where you are located by the coast. How do you get your P&G insert early? I don’t get anything in our local mail and just finally got this little savings $30.75 coupon book via USPS but I think I signed up for it. I get an email now but that is it.

Fruitopia products are also on clearance–most I saw were $1.24, and there is a $1.50 coupon in the Dec Reinventing Beat mag.

***Also, per CVS, beauty club balances will be reset 12/31, so plan accordingly!

    • Bturnerjw

Best CVS trip ever.  Thanks for the info.  I also found Brut Deodorant on clearance for $1.29 to pair w/ $1/1 q. Bought $170.76 worth of items for .07 cents plus tax and then received back $5.99 Zyrtec ECB and $6.00 Head & Shoulders ECB that I will use next week.   Bought in 2 transactions to follow p&g ‘4 like coupon’ rules: 4 Aussie @ .99 used (2) $1/2 man q = .50 each8 Herbal Essence @ .99 used (4) $1/2 man q = .50 each3 Head & Shoulders @ 1.57 used (1) $1/2 man q and (1) $1/1 man q = .90 each 1 Neutrogena @ 1.94 used (1) $2/1 man q (adjusted down to $1.94) = free12 Pantene @ 1.57 used (6) $3/2 man q = .07 each 1 Pantene @ 1.74 used (1) $1/1 man q = .74 each2 Brut Deodorant @ 1.29 used (2) $1/1 man q = .29 each1 Zyrtec @ 5.99 used $2/1 man q = $3.99 (my cvs did not consider 5ct to be a trial size)1 candy @ .33 (so that I could use my ECB’s before tax) Used $15.00 in ECB’s from previous trips I bought the only 3 Head & Shoulders left and the only 1 Neutrogena left, but my store had plenty of the other items still on the shelves.  I went across town to find more H&S and Neutrogena but they were out.  They did however have plenty of the Pantene and Aussie on the shelves.

      • Savingalot

is amazing how self fish some people are make sick 12s pantene 8s herbal essence??? what are you going to do with all of that product its clearing the shelves get just what you need and the offer with others

        • Bturnerjw

Thank you so much for your concern. and I am so sorry that I made you sick.  Next time I will make sure that I type in my family situation before making any more comments.  Just to give you an overview of my life and where all this shampoo and conditioner will go.  I do all the coupon shopping for myself, my husband, 1 daughter in college, 2 married daughters (1 in college) and their husbands (1 in college), 1 married son and his wife, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, my 70 year old mother, my husband’s 88 and 90 year old parents, and my husband’s sister who had a stroke.  If I were a shelf clearer, I would buy more than 6 papers each week for the coupons.  Instead, I limit our family of 17 to what we need, this trip makes it less than 2 products per person.  I only hope that we can make these items last longer than 3 or 4 weeks.  Everyone has been posting info about these sales since Sunday.  I care for our aging parents, my sister-in-law, and I babysit the grandkids while everyone else is at work or school, and I did not get to go shopping until today.  I hoped that I could get 1 or 2, but to my surprise, there are lots and lots of products still on the shelves in both stores in my community even after my purchases.  (except for the head & shoulders and the neutrogena)

          Thanks again.

          • Jessica

We should not have to explain why we do what we do. I do the same thing for some simular reasons. But you really did handle that better than me. It is one thing to say, “I wish people would only buy what they need” verses “people make me sick”

          • Sinfulin09

i also have a very large family i do alot of shopping for do not let people make you feel you need to explain anything to them keep up the great deal getting best wishes (maybe some of these sad mad folks would like to do our shopping)

        • Seriously

WOW, someone is bitter! Let me guess, your CVS was already wiped out and now you need someone to take out your frustration on. I would suggest stop being concerned with others and take some time to work on your grammer.

      • Tala

Can you tell me please what kind of  Neutrogena, Aussie, Panitine and Herball did you buy? In my store nothing has been marked down. I check 8 Pantine and 7 Herball and havent found any..

    • Sherry Florida

Just a tip.. the Herbal Essence (red bottle) called Long term relationship for long hair, 23.7 oz is on clearance! no tag in front of it so shelves are stocked, says its $6.99, scan it ! came up $1.74!!!  add a coupon… great deal!!!

      • Tala

thank you.  It helped me to find 2 bottels in one store. I shared it with  my niece

      • kksanders

Thanks for the tip….that is the kind that I use!!:)

    • Anonymous

I couldn’t find any Head and Shoulders on clearance at my store in Gulfport, MS.  I scanned every “flavor” at the red box… I also didn’t have any luck with the Herbal Essence, although I wasn’t as diligent about scanning all the flavors.

    • Deb

Found similar brands & prices on clearance at Kroger today.  Also found bottles of coconut Suave for 30 cents apiece!  My fave, tho, was the pear applesauce singles that my kids LOVE in their school lunches: 59 cents per 6 pack.

    • Just4yall

Got the P & G inserts today sad that the shelf’s are already cleared out. Has $2/2 head and shoulders would have been a great money maker.

    • Ssteiner123

I racked up on lots and lots of makeup at my CVS. 50-75% off always make for great deals.

    • Elizabeth West386

I bought 8 large bottles of pantene and paid 1.92 before taxes!!

    • Imaprincess09

Thanks for posting this Jenny!! One more question for anybody… I have a coupon for $5 off of $25.. is that before sales/coupons/ECB?? After sales but before coupons and ECB?? I know I can buy $25 worth of stuff.. but not after sales and coupons. It’s not a good deal if it makes you spend more than you should.

      • Bersingerj

I always give them the $ off coupon first and then all my ECB’s and then other coupons.. That way you can get your balance VERY LOW!! Have fun :)

        • Imaprincess09

It’s loaded to my CVS card.. so hopefully it will just be there till it hits $25, then I can hand her my q’s and ECB. :) Thank you!!

          • MRS. HART

I get those through email sometimes, too, and I always elect to print them rather than load them on my card, that way at checkout I can hand it over before scanning my card so the $5 gets taken off my total balance then I can use my ECBs, coupons, etc.  Makes for somgreat deals!

    • Bersingerj

My CVS in Jax, Fl had alot of shampoos at 50%.. I was stoked to find John Freda for 50% off!!! I believe I paid $3.39 a piece :) That made my day! Thanks

      • Babs

Which CVS in Jax? I shop at some of the westside stores. Found some of the friendliest employees at Normandy and Lane Ave location.

        • Babs

I managed to grab 2 big bottles of Pantene for $2.60 ( I had a coupon). Everything else was gone. Happy with what I got. My kids can go through a big bottle in a week.

    • Bersingerj

My CVS in Jax, Fl had alot of shampoos at 50%.. I was stoked to find John Freda for 50% off!!! I believe I paid $3.39 a piece :) That made my day! Thanks

    • Stacey

9 bottles (Pantene and Aussie) for $4.37 with tax.  And they were the big bottles too!

      • Anonymous

I went last night at  and purchased 4 Aussie for $2.27 with tax such a great deal that I would have missed out on if I had not checked out southern savers

      • Tiya

Which type did you find in the pantene. I only saw the small bottles.

        • Whymustucleantheshelf?

Don’t even bother looking.  Bturnerjw has a family of thousands and had to clean every shelf in the US so their hair is pretty and smelling good.

          • Anonymous

I really hope your day gets better.  I don’t understand why you are taking it out on Bturnerjw though….  You do realize that she didn’t buy 50+ bottles right?  She is not the one who cleared the shelves at your store…

            • Whymustucleantheshelf

Well I figure she must be guilty if she’s so quick to jump in defense of others actions.  And then to point out how many people she is caring for just shows that she’s part of the problem.  Obviously she is cleaning the shelves but finds it perfectly ok.

    • Smartshopper

I think in these though times we should consider others and get just what we need buy 20 items just because we have 20 cousins 30 grandkids etc.. is still clearing shelves I love when stores have the LIMIT amount on purchase because of some people forgot that there are others that want to save some money too like Jenny says DONT WORRY THESE OFFERS WILL CAME BACK. is about consideration pass it on

      • Just4yall

Agreed, I have a big family too and do just fine and have a growing stock pile while still only getting a couple at a time all it takes is diligence. Sad though that everyone ran out and cleared the stores though. With the $2/2 head & shoulders coupon that came out/coming out and the pantene being in the $10 WYB $30 deal this coming week it would have made for some great money making deals.

    • Whymustucleantheshelf?

I went to my local CVS in Buford Georgia yesterday afternoon and everything was gone!  The manager told me that some lady came in and cleaned them out of over 50 bottles.  I hope that skank chokes on it…or drops a bottle, then steps on it and breaks her freaking neck!  I only wanted 4 bottles but I guess she has an extended family of 20+(as some of the posters below claim) that she must also care for.  What a bunch of garbage.  I am tired of hearing excuses from shelf clearers that they are tending to all these people.  It’s a lie and you’re a coupon whore!

      • Singlemom

Kudos to you for calling it like it is!  It’s very aggravating that people have no consideration for others.

      • Nandyshy

        I AGREE 100%

      • Just4yall

To be completely fair you should blame the manager more than the person who took 50 bottles. The manager has the right and more importantly the responsibility to limit quantities where they see fit. 1 person clearing out the entire store should have been one of those situations where they saw fit.

    • Bturnerjw

I want to thank everyone for their constructive criticism.  I do not presume to know anyone’s situation and therefore I do not judge.  If you have any concerns, just ask.  There is no need to jump to conclusions.  There is no difference in me doing the shopping for everyone, than each of them going into the store and buying their own.  If we each had gone into the store, the number of items purchased would have been the same or even more if they too had 6 of each coupon.  I do not see anyone complaining about the person who bought 15 items.  How do we know her situation?  Maybe she is a single mom with 6 kids?  But, no worries, next time I will load my husband, the 4 people in wheelchairs, two daughters, 1 son in law who all live in our house, and the 4 grandkids I baby sit into a 7 passenger van and have everyone buy their own items.  My other 2 children and their spouses will just have to do without, since they do not get a chance to go shopping.  I do ALL the shopping for this extended family.  Each of our children at sometime or another has had to move back home because of the economy.  I am just glad that 2 of my son in laws are in construction and they have renovated our basement into an apartment for the 4 in wheelchairs.  It might be best if I do not comment or make note on this website of any deals I find.  I am just opening myself up.  Thanks again.

      • Whymustucleantheshelf?

So you’re saying a single mom with 6 kids needs 50+ bottle of shampoo???  Get real!  And as for your extended family, how could they not get a chance to go shopping?  Are there no stores that they pass by on their way to and from work?  Or are they just too lazy to do anything for themselves?  It also sounds like you want to justify your actions by saying that you have an entire village to raise.  But in fact, you have 9 plus the ones you babysit.  You’re just as bad as the others because you try to make excuses.  My family doesn’t rely on me to do their shopping for them.  They’re perfectly capable of doing what I do to get the deals I get.  You give your family what you get because it helps you justify cleaning the shelves.  And that’s wrong!

      • Just4yall

Maybe Because 15 is not 30! Matter of fact it is 2ce as much. Just saying

    • Anonymous

Whoa ladies (and possibly gentlemen, although I suspect the former)….life is too short!  It’s shampoo!!! Be grateful for what you do have…deals come and go – not the end of the world.

    • Just4yall

I would just like to note that shampooing your hair everyday could do your hair more harm then good. Shampooing on a daily bases is a relativity new idea. 1908 an article told women that washing your hair every to weeks was perfectly ok. By the 1950s women were washing there hair once a week. It is recommended to only wash your hair every other day at the most.

    • Guest

People need to quit being so bitter! There is just not enough of the deals to go around.. you should have gotten to the store earlier. Be grateful for the deals that you do get. Different people have different needs. 20 bottles of shampoo may only be a couple month supply to one person, while it may last another family yeasr. Don’t be so quick to judge others and assume that they are a “shelf clearer.” If know if I find something a good deal and need it, I will take what I need. I don’t take over what I need out of consideration to others, but if I need 8 bottles of something and it is all that is left, then oh well. If that makes me a bad person, then let God be the one to judge that. I was lucky enough to get the store and get 10 bottles, enough to last my family a few months. However, I have missed many deals because people beat me to it. No bitterness against them, some deals we get and others we don’t. Another deal will come around.

      • Couponsrock

Big difference between 15-20 bottles and over 50. just saying.

      • Marlady12

Anyone who uses 20 bottles of shampoo in 2 or 3 months has a real problem!!!  Talk to your hairdresser, not good to wash your hair that much…  You are a coupon hoarder, lets be honest….

        • Guestwho

          I AGREE

        • Guest

Not a coupon hoarder.. I bought 10 bottles, 4 of which stayed at my house (2 bathrooms, one shampoo and conditioner per shower).. the other 6 were given to my sister who has 4 kids, her husband and herself. He works 12 hour days and she just had surgery so she is unable to do the shopping for her family right now. So before you open your big mouth and call someone something, realize that different people have different situations. I agree that 50 bottles is extreme, but I just dont think 10-20 is that unreasonable.. I have to say I have a friend though who works for a homeless shelter and they do the buying for there little store… she jumps up at a deal like this because they are going broke with rising prices and lack of funds/donations… i’d rather a “shelf clearer” buying for reasons like that get the deal, then I who can go without a few free bottles of shampoo. Whether we think what others do is right or wrong, well that’s our opinion but we shouldn’t be so quick to judge others.

    • Aliciareitz82

woohoo! Thank you for posting this.:) I was able to go in tonight and get my items, enough to add up my beauty club for my additional $5’s back.  I also stumbled across my favorite hair products “Christophe” and when I checked out they were 50% off too!!

    • Anonymous

I scored at my CVS.  They had the Pantene big bottles that are normally 6.99 75% off and I had a 3.00 off coupon when you bought two.  I scored 4 bottles for 1.42 which will last a year for my family

    • Yea81

Bummer, my cvs didn’t do it.  (CA)  They did all the black friday, yes!  All the emails below are a compliment to Jenny.  If it wasn’t for her non of us would be able to see all these great deals.  Thanks Jenny for all you do.

    • Sukilittle

wow, there are some really bitter and rude people on this page.  I miss deals all the time or find empty shelves but I never get angry at the shoppers, I figure it’s my own fault for not getting to the store early enough.  No one owes anybody any explanation for why they buy the amounts they buy. It isn’t your business!!  Some of the nasty negative attitudes of the couponers on this site make me want to keep all the super deals I find not listed here to myself because most of you don’t appreciate it anyway.  Way to show your holiday spirit by attacking people who struggle to support their families.
Your scrooge like nasty attitude is what makes me sick, not bulk buyers.

      • randa

I totally agree.  Very ugly behavior from some posts on here.  While I don’t care to see those piling their buggies with 5 years worth of a single product, it is not mine or anyone elses business.  And I don’t believe the ugly attitudes are what Jenny would want posted on her forums.

    • I went to my usual CVS today and pretty much all the Pantene shelves were full, nothing marked down nothing gone.  The only items tagged were the brunette (maybe the blond) lines.  This store is often “behind” in their markdowns, so if someone wanted to scan items or was in the “know” as to which products were clearanced you could really score.

The only items I found in the shampoo aisle that were actually tagged on clearance were a few Aussie, Dove, Frutopia and Herbal Esse, overall probably less then 10 total items.  I only got two Aussie conditioners and used my 1.00 coupons from today to get them for .04 cents (maybe .24, cannot remember).

      • Tala

I was at 6 stores in Ft. Lauderdale area and in none of them Pantene for blond were on clearence. And there is no Pantene for Brunette. I guess that they were put down some time ago.

    • laurie

had to come up with $2 dollars more to spend to use my ECBucks… so bought 2 dentyne packs of gum by the register – but they were on clearance for $0.50 a piece so had to get 4 – awesome!!
