These deals are in the CVS Weekly Ad starting 1/24. Diaper week is HERE!! I’ve worked up a scenario for those with ECB’s and those that are just starting. Hopefully it will help get some ideas of how CVSing works.

The Bonus Day’s Deals continue this week, some are listed below but make sure you check out the entire list.

If you are new to CVS shopping, read the CVS Getting Started Guide.

Update:  Many of you received or found coupons emailed out yesterday by CVS.  These coupons ONLY work for the card they emailed to.  Please do not post links to, or encourage others to use your coupon.  It will not work.  CVS also does not like these links shared and they send mean lawyery letters (therefore any links to your coupons or others will be removed).

How do I get the $4/$20 coupon? I’m new at this, but that q would be great to use w/ the diaper deal!

      • heatherh

If you have signed up with CVS.com and entered your ExtraCare card they emailed a coupon yesterday. It prints as many times as you need, but I don’t know if it’s linked to that specific card.

        • Debbie

I am jumping in here. I signed up a few weeks back and I have yet to receive any coupon like this. :(

          • Sue

Have you linked your card to your on-line account? I think you have to do so.

            • Debbie

Yes I sure did and when I log in it shows my purchases and what rewards I have.

          • sarah

Same here. I never received a coupon.

          • helen

i did the same. no coupon!:(

            • becky

it took me at least 6 weeks before i started getting these in my inbox, but they finally came. i signed up before christmas and just got one this week.

            • I got the email yesterday, but no coupon. BUT: Every time I walk into my CVS, I immediately go to the price-check scanner thing (It’s red and near the entrance, not available at all stores) and scan my card. It then prints 1 to 3 coupons. The latest ones have been $3 off $15 purchase coupons (If you don’t scan the card when you walk in, the coupon may print on your receipt when you check out). So try that for extra $$ off!

            • I never get emailed the coupons either so I just logged in at the CVS site and checked what they had on record for my personal info. That’s when I found out that they didn’t even have my email address!!!! So I updated the info and maybe I’ll get one next time.

            • Catherine

I signed up back in May of ’09 and have never received these coupons by email. I just emailed corporate to ask about it.

            • kim

I’m wondering if getting prescriptions filled it a factor, as far as receiving these coupons?

        • Alysia

It does print multiple times but if it states only one per customer, it is linked to your card and will beep the next time you try to use it.

        • I’m signed up with cvs.com and my card is connected to the account and everything and I NEVER get $/$$ coupons, either in my email or when I scan my card in the store. I just sent an email to them asking what gives! I’ve been signed up for at least two years.

          • Becky

Kate, I’m in the same boat as you—-NEVER get coupons. I shop there almost weekly. Could it be we already give them TOO MUCH business??

          • meg

me too – shop there all the time, have everything set up on line – I get emails but never $ off coupons – and the machine only prints boring coupons like $1 off their cookies….

          • Todd

Kate, if you’ve had a CVS card for any length of time and you are ONLY getting the sale prices but your card IS NOT generating any EXTRA BUCKS whatsoever, you have a card that was deactivated by CVS’s corperate office. The cashier’s are drilled to keep their “ExtraCare Scan Rate” up. Therefore they keep a large stack of new cards at the register and just scan one if a customer doesn’t have their own card. Some cashiers throw that card away, some put it pack on the stack and continue to scan it over and over. After so many scans, the corperate office recognizes this to be a “hot card” and deactivates it, so that it only gives the sale prices and not EXTRA BUCKS. Due to the fact, that it has been scanned so many times, when you, the unsuspecting customer that finally walks up and says you would like to register for an ExtraCare card, receives that actual card. If it had not been deactivated, your very first EXTRA BUCK reward could have been $50 to $100 dollars! Wouldn’t that have been nice? But after that, everything else would have paled in comparison. You should have been receiving a tiny message on the bottom of your receipt saying something like: “Contact 1-800-SHOP-CVS”
There is a problem with your EXTRA CARE card. Message: XX-13

I hope this helps you and any other….

Can you help me with this
Question about the 4/20 coupon. Does it work on B1G1 items. I want to get the Vitamins that are B1G1 and they are 11.69 each so that would be 23 something. Plus I have the $1 off q for each one. Will the 4/20 work on that purchase or do I need to buy more on top of that to get a 20 subtotal after the B1G1? Thanks for any advice you can give.

        • Katherine

I never get the coupons for the CVS card that I got from the store. However, I ordered a second card for my husband via cvs.com and get coupons for his account EVERY TIME!!!

        • TONJA

I have registered my card too.. and i never ever get emails from them.. dont know why..???

        • Tiffany

          • Tina

To answer your question about the $4/$20 coupon… yes, you can use it with B1G1 items, but your OOP has to be at least $20 BEFORE COUPONS. So, you would need to add items totaling $8.31 or a few cents more, so that your subtotal is at least $20. THEN, GIVE THE CASHIER YOUR $4/$20 coupon FIRST. Lastly, you can then hand them your (2) $1 off coupons.
If you were to give them your $1 off coupons first, that would decrease your subtotal to under $20, and the $4/$20 wouldn’t work.
            Hope this helps! =)

            • Tiffany

Yes it does, Thank you very much Tina!!

      • Nata

I have my extra card for more than 5 years and only one time when I got printed $x from x amount was before New Year. I linked my card to online account about 2 years ago and I am receiving only messages- buy online and get % discounts. I am thinking to close my old card, but I have about $50.00 to spend.

        • Tiffany

I also have recieved the same emails. I went into my account and updated personal info, when I was in there I noticed that the NO was checked for incoming emails on ExtraCare emails. I don’t know if that will help but you might want to check yours.

          • Jennifer

Thanks, I just checked and my email wasn’t set up for them to send anything to me either. Glad you mentioned that.

      • Pam

I have gotten some good $4 or $5 off coupons from CVS at times…either by scanning my card or after a purchase. I got some great deals while doing Christmas shopping by using them. I never get them anymore tho—I figured my deals were just a liitle too good, lol!

    • Brandy T

I’m just curious, my store (Loganville, GA) has signs up that say that the new corporate policy is that when you spend EBC on items that have an EBC rebate due, the EBC will not print. When I asked the manager he said it was a new corporate policy. Heard anything about this??

      • Mandy

Oh no, I hope this isn’t true!

      • Oh no, that would be absolutely horrible! These deals are the only reason why I got a CVS card and started CVSing… I hope they’re not doing it here but I guess I’ll find out when I go on Sunday :/.

      • kelli

Wow, that would be incredibly lame! If that were the case, I would stop shopping at CVS completely. The only reason that I shop there is that I can get so much for so little with rolling extra bucks.

      • Caroline

If that’s the case, I’ll be happy to take my prescriptions elsewhere.

      • Becky

Oh no, I certainly hope that’s not the case. If so, they will be as bad as Walgreens. They will certainly lose a lot of business.

      • Jo

I called my store in Columbia to see if they had any info on this, and was told that they hadn’t heard anything about it. Maybe you are a “test market.” It would be a sad day if this spreads.

        • Michelle

Well, I am sure when they test it they’ll learn it’s a flop and hopefully change their minds. I for one wouldn’t shop there because rolling ECB’s is the only reason I go.

          • Neda

I am a cvs employee and i have not heard of this either.

            • Jodi

I too live in Loganville, GA. Which CVS do you shop at? I either go to the one at the corner of 20 and Ozora or the one on 124 in Snellville (close to work). I was just at the Snellville one yesterday and did not see anything about this new policy. The first Walgreen’s I went to a few weeks ago was the one on 124 and they had a sign on the register saying the same thing. Unfortunately, my second transaction didn’t have any RR attached to it, so I didn’t get to see what would happen anyway. Since then I go to the WalGreen’s in Grayson and haven’t seen a sign like that nor had any problems rolling my RR’s. I will be EXTREMELY sad if CVS or Walgreens starts doing this! :(

      • joanne

I shopped today and did not have a problem.

      • DEBBY

I wrote corporate about your situation and this was the response I received

        Dear ,

Thank you for contacting CVS/Pharmacy ExtraCare in regards to redeeming your ExtraBucks.

Please be advised that you would still receive ExtraBucks that are affiliated with a promotion even if you use current ExtraBucks for your purchase. If you have any problems redeeming your ExtraBucks on ExtraBuck promotions, please contact us at 1-800-746-7287 and one of our representatives will be more than happy to assist you. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused and thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Did you know that the Green Bag Tag is available at CVS locations for 99 cents? Attach it to any reusable bag and scan it along with your ExtraCare card. Every fourth scan will earn you a $1.00 ExtraBucks coupon that you can use on your next purchase. It’s that easy. Please note that this product is made with 100% recycled material.

We appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving you again.

    • Amanda

I have never used shoptext.com, but from a previous post of yours I saw a $4 Q available for Dove Men’s. Could you use that for the first deal listed?

      • Stacey

The Dove q was a Food Lion q so I doubt CVS would honor it.

    • heatherh

The Colgate Q in Jan. All You is for Colgate Total specifically.

      • Es

There is a Colgate max one as well

Will the charmin deal *4 extra bucks when you buy a 20 pack, apply also towards the p and g deal listed here?
if so , it would be awesome.

      • Jenny

It is only only the items pictured on that page of the ad, so no Charmin.

      Can i use a $4 off $20 and a $5 off $30 on same transaction?

      • Megan

No. You’ll have to choose one or the other.

      • Annie

I’m not sure if we’re on the same page…but if you have a $50 transaction, you can split your order and use both in two separate transactions. I did that last week with two $4 off $20’s. I had asked the cashier the same question as you did and she said “no” corporate is really cracking down and a few got fired for doing that. She had no problem doing the separate transactions, though.

      • heather

i used both in one transaction without any problems. the cashier didnt even look at the coupons. i would try it, what is there to lose?

        • debbie

Not trying to be a wet blanket, but haven’t the $/$$ coupons always been limited to one per transaction? Mine have been. Thought I’d seen that posted here as well over the months. So by trying to use it to see if the cashier doesn’t notice, it’s, uh, wrong! That is exactly why stores change their policies to get stricter and ruin it for the rest of us. IMHO.

        • Abigail

If you read the fine print on the $/$$ coupons it says that you can only use one of those per transaction. You’re lucky that the cashier took it because she shouldn’t have.

    • KT

Does anyone know the price of the 30oz. Hellmans Mayo?

      • LD

From what I saw it is $6 .lol you read that right so at B1G1 it is $3 a piece minus your .75 off coupon , it would be 2.25 a piece then you get the ECB on top of it.

        • KT

          Thanks :-)

    • angeline

im my ad in orlando it does not show the febreeze as part of the deal it is in the ad in the second page at 4.49 but not in the back were it mentions the buy25 get 10ecb deal weird!

      • Jenny

Look at the very top of that page right under the box, it doesn’t show that Febreze but it is typed out on the page at the top.

        • deb

that is so so weird, i see it though ha ha

          • deb

so if you have 3 of those buy one get one free coupons it would be buy 3 get 3 free= over 26.00 before coupons 13.21 after coupons, minus the 4.00 email coupon equals 9.47/ get ten dollars ecb totally free freshner!

            • LD

Not sure but think the B1G1 get one coupon is for a diffrent size that what they have on sale [maybe what they have period . I went in this am and took a quick look to see if they had the allergen reducer one [dont carry at my store] but they only had the small size of them in not the one that the coupon is good on. awwww I hope they get more in so we can use the coupons with this deal ….

            • Natalie559

LD- the ad says 27oz the coupon says for 500ml or larger. Google says 500ml = 17oz so we should be fine using the b1g1 coupon on the sale size!

            • Virginia

Sorry Natalie but you are incorrect, we should NOT use this coupon on this deal. The coupon states that if you buy 1 500 ml or larger, you get a 500 ml free. It does NOT state that you can get the larger size which CVS actually carries for free. It is inappropriate to use this coupon on this deal b/c CVS does not even carry the smaller size that the coupon is offering for free.

            • Natalie559

You’re right Virginia, I was too quick and thought it read buy a 500ml or larger get one free- oops! Thanks for the clarification!

        • angeline

saw it thanks ill get my q ready.

    • Amanda

Does any one know if any CVS in Jacksonville sells Huggies Pure and Natural???

      • Vicki :)

I heard that they did not carry them, and they are not listed online either. Bummer, I had a $3/1 for them! Makes my diaper deal go up to $6/pack since there are no more IPs. :(

      • Virginia

CVS does not carry the Pure&Natural line. I think we should all email and call and request that they begin to carry them – be sure to let corporate know that you take a lot of your diaper-purchasing business to Rite-Aid, Target, and Walmart since they actually carry that line. LOL

    • Thanks Jenny.
I am going to use the dove scenario above because I have 10ecbs and max fresh to have 1.00oop.

5 loreal eye makeups on 75% clearance 2.00 each (7.99 normal price)
      2 huggies diapers 20.00

      minus the coupons
      -5/30 from the cvs email
-3.00 huggies little movers home mailer
      -1.00 huggies from the 1/17SS
-10.00 (5 of the 2.00 any Loreal eye product from the 1/24)
      -13 ecbs from transaction #1

=0 oop but I will only get back 5 ecbs. So at the end of the day I only lost 5 ecbs….
for 2 packs of diapers totally worth it and the eye care and men’s care goes in the christmas box.

    • pS Has anyone used the 1.50 Huggies coupons Manufacturer coupon from the Target website at CVS?
      Did it beep?

      • Tina

Yes, my CVS took it with no problem in Richmond, Virginia.

    • jennifer

what zip for the huggies little movers $2Q on coupons.com? anyone know?

      • Heather

I was wondering the same thing! I could find them with any zip code I tried

    • wendy

I got a $4 of $20 purchase and $3 ecb and $3 off huggies coupon. Can I use all three of these for the 2 for $20 huggies deal? Also can you use more than one huggies coupon? I am pretty new to this so I am not sure what they will let you use.

      • You can use all of that and both huggies’ coupons since you are buying 2. The ECB would be last and would be for the remaining OOP (not including tax)..Good job!

      • Debbie

Hand them the $4 off of $20 first, before the other coupons make your total go below $20.

        • wendy

Wow thanks ladies!! I will be able to get 2 packs of diapers for $7 then get a $5ecb back!!! That is awesome!!! BTW I love this website and tell ALL my friends about it!!!

    • Hi Jenny,

Your first line says “These deals are in the CVS Weekly Ad starting 1/24.” Did you actually mean 1/31?

      You rock.

    • Sylvie

You show the .50 CVS Coke coupon in your scenario where you buy a 2 liter Coke. The coupon says “single serve coke product.” Will they count a 2-liter towards that? (if they knew my 14 year old they would, but I’m wondering if CVS/Coke consider it a single-serve like he does) :D

There is also a coupon tear-pad at my CVS for $1 off when you buy a single-serve coke/powerade AND pringles. Do you have any suggestions for using this in your scenario? Would it attach to the Pringles so that I could use the CVS coupon on the coke? Or could I use both anyways???

Thank you for all you do!!!

      • JenGC

I found that coupon too. I thought it included the 2 liters. If not, then I am going to use the powerade and the pringles for that coupon. I figured with those coupons and the $1 off I got from the recycle place, I can get 6-2 L, 2 Pringles, and 2 12 packs for $7 after the ECB.

        • Rm

I’m pretty sure Jenny meant for the cvs coke coupon to be used on the powerade single bottle she said when you print it it has a pictue of powerade on it. and the powerade is included in the P&G deal.

          • Rm

No I am sorry you are right once I looked at her deal scenario she did buy a 2ltr coke and use the cvs coupon. Hmmmm

      • AKelly

lol My 16 year old said the same thing about the 2 liter being single serving. We have a friend that works at CVS who said he accidentally rang up a few people using that coupon on the 2 liters until he realized it probably meant 20 oz. So it’s probably ymmv, but the coupon’s not intended for the 2 liters. You’d have to try it and see. HTH

      • joanne

Kinda funny. That’s the first thing the store clerk said to me when she saw I was purchasing the 2ltr bottle. “that q is on the bottle will not work for the 2ltr, it’s for the single serve”

    • sarah

Is anyone else having trouble with the Dove Mens printable? I’ve tried several times and it says I’ve already printed, but I haven’t.

      • angeline

yes it already reached the print limit

      • Elizabeth

I just printed 2. Try again with a different email address.

    • Natalie559

Jenny- any news on the CVS Mars candy deal, buy $20 get $10ECB through 2/6? I see it on a couple sites but I cannot seem to find many details. . .wondering if it is worth trying.

    • Cara

I can’t find the 2.00 off huggies movers coupon on the website. I see the other Huggies coupons but not that one. Anyone having the same problem??

      • debbie

I can only find the $1.00 off. Does anyone have a different zip code that has the $2.00 off?

        • Lara

Having the same problem. Can someone give us an alternate zip to use? Thanks.

    • Lynn

Oh, my goodness, you are a good shopper. I’m impressed with your scenario and hope I get there soon! Thanks for blessing all of us.

    • denise

i am new at this and i am wondering- how do you already know what will be on sale sunday at cvs? it’s fantastic…but just curious.

    • Pat

      Hey Jenny,
I tried to email this to you but something is going on with my email acct.

The date on the opening sentence on your CVS ad needs to be changed to1/31/10. You still have 1/24.

Thanks for doing such an awesome job. I have been following you for almost a year. I have told a lot of people I meet in stores about your site.

Thank you for all you do!

    • Ly

I cant find the 0.50 coke coupon from CVS website. What ‘s the zip code?

      • Brandie

        35242 worked for me

    • jan in sc

You can print the $4/$20 at the iheartcvs, I printed 4. You can print a variety of these.

      • angeline

        yeah but they will beep

      • Marc

Be careful with those – they only work for the card holders they were sent to.

      • Rhonda

The $5 off $20 from this site worked great for me last week when I was buying Pepsi.

      • LD

The $5 off 20 was a newspaper coupon [online edition] the $4 off 20 and $5 off 30 $3 off 15 ect. are ones sent in an email to certain card holders [ no one seems to know why you do or dont get them lol] if you use one and it has not been sent to your email it will beep . Also on the email ones you are only allowed one per card . Even if you get one and use it , it will beep the second time you try . A cashier or manager could push it through but that is not Corp policy. Some emails come with your name others dont . The ones that dont seem to get posted on the internet. But if you read the fine print on these it will tell you how it is diffrent than the newspaper ones.

      • DeeDee

I actually used 2 of those coupons tonight with no problems.

    • angeline

anyone using the bogo fuze tearpad in the deal.

      • angeline

also remember to use the 1.00 off any coke prod from recycle bank for an awsome deal.

      • valerie

I have those too- I was wondering about getting 26 fuze- using a 5/25 Q from CVS coupon kiosk and 13 BOGO Q’s – Think that will work?

I wondered if they would let me but that many- if they even had that many?

      • Rm

could you please tell me where you got these coupons? Also when I see a tear pad I just take 2.

    • Sarah Beth

The printable coupon for the Johnson’s lotion has reached it’s limit, but there was a coupon for $1.00 off a few weeks ago. I can’t say which insert because my grandmother sends them to me, but I got it today with a bunch she mailed me. She gets my coupons out of the Tennessean.

    • 8tina

      how do i read comments?

    • SouthernSavers

      They'll be back in a bit… I promise

    • Sabrina

I was wondering about the Ragu..it is listed to use a 75/2 coupon, but in the coupon insert preview it says 1.25/3…anybody know anything?

      • joanne

There is a .75/2 from before, but there is 1.00/2 in today’s insert.

    • Tina

Has anyone ever tried to use a $$/$$ after it expires?? We are snowed in and not likely to go anywhere this weekend. Thanks!

      • LD

I have been able to use one after it has expired . I think that depends on which cashier or manager you get. If it is soon enough the register wont beep and most cashiers will put it through with no beep. unless you get a coupon deal hater. lol Some cashiers and managers will push it through if not to far off or they know you well [good customer service ect] or they knew of the storm or any other thing that may have gone wrong. I would give it a try and see.

        • Rachel

My cashier let me use one yesterday that had expired the previous day. I told her we weren’t able to make it to the store because of the snow.

Then today I got *another* $5/30 in my inbox. But I won’t be making a second trip this week.

    • tara

The Colgate did not give ECBs when I went to store today. It was simply on sale for $2.50.

      • The Mentalist

Did you buy the right variety “max….”?

        • tara

I did buy the correct kind & looked through the paper with the cashier… there was no Colgate sale in the paper that gave ECB back. Might be a regional thing?

          • Jen

I know last week the colgate max white was on sale for 2/$5 so maybe it is part of that deal.

    • Kristen

Went to CVS today (Saturday) and found some great deals on 75% clearance. Lots of personal care, hygiene items. Most were shampoos and other hair care items. I matched them up with P&G coupons that are expiring on 01/31. The retail value was $88 and I spent $3.71. How exciting! I don’t need any of the products so I am donating them to a local children’s home with lots of teenagers.

      • That’s amazing! Will you share where you found these items located in your store. I was just wondering if they were on a clearance shelf somewhere or if they were just located throughout the store. Also, what store did you find these at?

    • Tracey

The printable coupon on the Colgate site is showing as a coupon for Colgate Total Enamel Strength or Colgate Total Advanced. I don’t see one for the Max Fresh.

      • The Mentalist

Its there.. roll down the page

        • Tracey

          I found it. Thanks.

Oh, PLEASE tell me… What is this Recyclebank?

        • Teaundra

          me too!

          • Amy J.

            Me three :-)

        • Teaundra
        • Amy J.

          found the website: http://www.recyclebank.com
looks interesting….you can earn rewards at local retailers (CVS is included in my area…..just enter your zip code) for recycling. Sounds nice.

        • Kelly

http://www.recyclebank.com You get 100 points when you sign up. You can redeem the points for cool coupons. The Coke coupons are now up to 40 points each :( they used to be only 10 points. There is also $4 off $20 CVS coupon. It takes almost 2 weeks to get your coupons in the mail.

    • Nancy

I am in Florence SC what is the recyclebank? Thanks all

    • I didn’t print the dove coupons since i figured I’d get the coupons in the AJC. The prints are gone, and I don’t dee the coupon in the paper. Am I missing it?

      • Mine is on the back page of redplum (like the back cover). This is the paper in Columbia SC but might be the same for you.

        • kelli

mine’s in the same place (roanoke times). I thought that I had missed it too.

      • you guys are exactly right – back of redplum in atlanta, too

    • Mark

BEST CVS TRIP ever this morning! started with $36 CVS bucks (from Soy Joy purchase) Got: 6 ragu, 2 duracell, 2 skippy, 4 febreeze, 1 diet coke, 2 dove mens care, 5 finish dish detergent, 1 colgate, 1 pack of gum: Out of pocket .61, saved $113.35! (used $10 off $50 also)! and got back $26 CVS bucks, so basically .40 per item….

    • Don

Our local Michigan circular is much different than what’s on this website??? We don’t have the Dove free special…

      • Virginia

Michigan is apparently getting ‘test market’ ads so unfortunately it’s going to be difficult for you to plan your deals as long as they’re doing that – you’ll have to actually get your ad for your area and work from that. Every once in awhile CVS does a ‘test market’ ad in some areas which believe me is almost always a pain for the people in the test market areas…

    • Allison

I can’t find the 2.00 off huggies either. Does anyone have a zip code that works? I printed a few a couple of days ago on a different computer but it doesn’t seem to be working today on any computer that I have tried.

      • KJ

        35611 worked last night

    • Carrie

YMMV – CVS has Bioluxe shampoo & conditioner BOGOF at $9.99. There is a hangtag on some of the bottles “Try Me Free” by purchasing the conditioner at 9.99 and send in the receipt and tag and get a 9.99 prepaid visa gift card. So both are free! One per household; I had them ring up the conditioner first but the receipt just indicated Biolx Clr Pro for each.

    • just me

Mayo deal question: Since it’s $6 and then b1g1, will buying 2 qualify for the ECBs since the value is $12 but the cost is $3? or will i need to buy 4 mayos to get over the $10 to get the ECBs?

      • just me

Answering my own question: Went today and bought (2) of the mayos @ $5.99 for both since it’s b1g1. My receipt says I have $5.99 towards the $10 unilever deal, not $11.98.

    • KJ

here’s just a good example i did the other day…

2 Nivea body lotions (5.00 off 2 coup)
2 Nivea body washes (2.00 off each coupons)
      1 Loreal 360 facial wash (2.00 off)

Used 5.00 off 30.00 purchase email coupon
      used 11.00 mfg coupons
used 9.00 ecb’s (cottonelle 3.00 and a left over soyjoy 6.00 from last week)

not my best ever, but i had some extra cash, i used these same coupons about two weeks ago when nivea was on sale and hated to see them go to waste, just wanted to add to my stock pile because there was notihing else on sale i needed. subtotal before coupons was 38.00 and i only paid 13.00 oop, what it would have been for 2 of these fantastic body washes it was like getting all three of the other more expensive items for free. :)

    • Katie

My CVS would not take the B1G1 febreeze coupons today because they only sale the 800ml bottles. The coupons states buy one 500ml or larger and get one 500ml bottle for free! Just a heads up.

      • LD

That is what I was wondering about if you can get the larger size free . Thought it would not work as they only sell the larger size . U can buy any size but your free one needs to be the smaller one lol /. Now why would I pay more for a large one and get smaller free . lol I will wait till somone has the smaller one on sale to use the coupon. That is a stupidly worded coupon if you ask me lol

    • Sam

Is the Huggies offer only for the snug & dry/pullups, or does it apply to the pure & natural and little movers, too? I have $3.00 off coupons that are expiring today and that’s the only way that the diapers are going to be a good deal for me.

      • Virginia

Huggies deals at CVS almost always include the Snug&Dry, Little Movers, and Little Snugglers, (the ‘little-whatevers’ used to just be ‘supremes’ and they changed the wording) as well as Pullups and I think the Goodnights. Overnites are NEVER included, and CVS does not carry the Pure&Natural line at all.

    • Alicia

I attend extreme couponing this past friday so i am very new to this. my question is – to get extra care bucks does the total have to be the amount before or after coupons?
i.e. huggies deal 2 for $20 with ECB back – but if I use the $1 off coupong then less than $20 – do I still get ECB?

      • Ginger

        Yes, you do.

    • tamika

      also-on huggies-get $1 for Upromise this month!

    • Lindsey

I’m pretty new to all this and have a question. I have $10 in Extra Bucks and I was going to take advantage of the Men’s Dove wash for $5.49 with $5.49 in EB. If i use a coupon for this item does it take away from my $5.49 EB????

      • Ginger

You mean, will it reduce the amount of your Bucks by the amount of the coupon? No, it will give you the full ECB amount.

    • nancy

I bought the Dove Men’s Care face and body wash the the $5.49 ECB’s did not print up. Has anyone else had this problem. It is not listed in the paper either.

      • Amber

Where do you live? I live in Lansing, MI, and this is the first week my ad is nothing like the one everyone else (in the south) seems to have:(

        • nancy

I live in Sterling Heights, MI. Did it show the Dove Men’s care in your ad?

          • Amber

No, and it did not have the diaper deal either:( I was so looking forward to both of those deals too.

            • Nancy

Yes so was I. Guess you can’t really depend on the ad on here being the same as the ad in your hometown. Usually the ads are the same here in Mi as the ad on here.

      • Michelle

Did you get a bar soap or a body wash? At my store and in the ad it was a body wash that was on sale.

    • Andrea

At CVS, when something is 3/$5 – do you have to buy 3? Or will you get that price for 1? I wanted to buy the Ragu today, but was unsure of that policy.

      • Ginger

At my CVS, if it’s 3/$5, you’ll pay 1.67 if you only take one. I assume that’s companywide, but you can just ask a manager to be sure. That’s another awesome thing about CVS- management is easy to find.

      • joanne

Cvs allows you to buy one and it does ring up as 1.67 on each one , but watch out for Walgreens, they do not like you to do that.

    • How long is the Oust ECB good for? Do I need to do my shopping today or can I wait till tomorrow?
      Thanks for the info!

      • Ginger

Bonus Days Deals are through 2/14, I think.

    • Amber

I live in Lansing, MI, and have never had a problem following your CVS stuff; but my ad for this week is NOTHING like yours:(
I was so looking forward to the deals for this week too. Does anyone else have a different ad than the one scanned here? Anyone know why they are different, when they have not been up until now? I sure hope this does not become a usual thing, because I have so enjoyed using this site.

    • april

I live in NC and they will not let me use the B1G1 free coupon for the Febreeze, because you have to buy a 500 ml or larger and get a 500 ml for free, and they do not sale 500 ml bottles of febreeze

    • Alicia Greene

Had a good trip to CVS today. I went there with no ECB but i did have the Rite Aid prescription transfer ticket which CVS did honor. So i payed for my meds which were 5.00 and got the 25.00 gift card. With that gift card i got:

      2 Dove Men + Care
      1 Schickk Quatro Razors
      1 Kitchen Trash Bags
      1 Finish Dish Cleaner
      2 Huggies Diapers
      1 Colgate Max Fresh
      2 24 pack of H20
      1 pack of Reeses

      Payed 5.00 plus tax
Have 5 ecb for next week!

    • Lisa

Does anyone know how I can do the scenario that jenny stated, but with no diapers???

      • Donna

You really just have to go by the things that you would use. Sometimes I don’t normally do what Jenny has down because I know I would not use it. Just do the items that gives you the ECB’s back in order to get close to what you are looking for. HTH!

        • Lisa

Thanks a bunch, I’ll figure something out.

    • Susan

Had a good time at CVS bought, $34.74 paid $2.89 (including tax) and earned an extra $6.98 in ECB’s.

I had a great week at all the stores Publix, CVS, RA and WAGS. Combine total of $214.33 plus $14.83 tax(this is NOT full retail, but what everything rang up as), paid $27.87 ($13.04 plus $14.83 tax), received $6.98 ECB’s(over what I used), will receive $21.99 in rebates ($19.99 from RA) and a $25.00 Gift card (from RA). Never would haved dreamed 8 months ago I could do this. Thanks Jenny and Southern Savers Bloggers! Very excited had to share.

    • Went to CVS tonight to get the Always pads that are bundled together as 2 packs for $6 with $3 ECBs back. Got 2 packs and used the B1G1 coupon that expired today. I also got the Dove Men’s Care for $5.49 and used the $1.25 coupon. I also used the $3 off $15 purchase from iheartcvs and it did beep but the cashier just put it through. I used $7 in ECBs and payed $1.25 OOP. Got back $5.49 and $6 ECBs so I made money! I’ll be going back later in the week to get more stuff. I just wanted to quickly grab a few items and used my expiring coupons and ECBs.

    • Mikesc

I noticed i saw someone saying that you can print the cvs 4/20 coupon as many times as you want and wasn’t for sure if it’s linked to your card. when they send those out via email and you use it once, you cant use the same one again repeatedly its blocked and will show up as you have already redeemed the coupon.

    • Laura

Please help — I can’t seem to find the -$1.25 off Dove Men’s Care Body Wash or Scrubber 13.5oz+, RP 1/31 — any tips?

      • Michelle

Mine was on the back page of one of the inserts

    • Robyn

So, this is how my scenario goes…I have $10 ($5, $4 and $1) in ECB’s to roll over.

      Transaction #1
      (2) Slim Fast Bar Multi Pack ($4.99)
      (1) Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste ($2.99)
      (2) -$1.25/1 Slim Fast Multi Pack
      (1) -$1.00 Colgate Fresh Toothpaste
      Total $9.47
      less $4 and $5 ECB’s
      OOP $0.47 plus tax
Get back ECB 1.50(x2) and $2

      Transaction #2
      (1) Dove Mens Care Body Wash ($5.49)
      (1) -$1.00 Dove Mens Care
      Total $4.49
      less $1, $1.50 (x2) ECB’s
      OOP $.49 plus tax
      Get back $5.49 ECB

      Transaction #3
      (1) Dove Mens Care Body Wash ($5.49)
      (1) -$1.25 Dove Mens Care
      Total $4.24
      less $2 ECB
      OOP $2.24 plus tax
      Get back $5.49 ECB

      Transaction #4
      (10) Coke 2 Liters ($1.25)
      (4) Pringles ($1.50)
      (2) Febreeze Fabric Refresher ($4.49)
      (1) Duracell Batteries ($2.99)
      (10) -$1 any Coke Product
      (1) -$1 off 4 Pringles
      (1) B1G1 Febreeze Fabric Refresher
      Total $14.98
      less $5.49 (x2) ECB’s
      OOP $4.00 plus tax
Get back $10 ECB to Rollover

      Total OOP: $7.20 plus tax

Now I wish I had gone yesterday because I had several options with coupons expiring 1/31 AND a $4 off of $20 via email! Could have made for an even better trip!

      • You may still be able to use the $4/$20 even if it is expired. I asked the manager at my local CVS and he said that I could as long as it was in the same sales week.

      • Tiffany

Where did you get the $1 off Coke product from?

    • Jenny:

I don’t know if this was mentioned earlier, but I saw a coupon for $2.00 off Nature’s Bounty at their website.
You can get it when you register with them.
I haven’t yet registered, so I don’t know if the coupon is for “any”, or if it is for a certain size.
      Just wanted to mention it.

Thank you very much for your wonderful website and all the work you do.

    • I had $2 ECBs that were expiring today so I ran in and grabbed the Colgate Max and used the $2 ECBs along with the $1 off coupon and payed $0.21 for the toothpaste and got back $2 ECB.

My cashier scanned my CVS card and it printed out a paper where they would send me a $4/$20 coupon if I updated my e-mail address. I’ll have to see if it comes in an e-mail.

      • Tina J.

        Got mine last night!!

      • marie

the paper where i put my email says it will take 3 wks to get the coupon

    • Tiffany

The $1.00 coupon on Dove does not work.

    • jennifer

does cvs do rainchecks for ecb items? I went to 2 diff stores yesterday to get the body wash and they were both out. it didnt occur to me to ask for a raincheck! if not, do they often restock these types of items later in the week or am i out of luck?

      • kelli

As long as it’s a regular item, they should give you a rain check for it. They (most likely) won’t give you a rain check for seasonal items or stuff like the bonus deals because these aren’t thing that they can guarantee they’ll get more of.

They should restock on whatever day they get a shipment in. All of the stores in my area gets their shipments on Tuesday. If you ask, they should be able to tell you what day they get theirs.

    • elisa

I purchased 2 packs of Huggies at 2/$20 and used 2 coupons, but i notice my receipt says “amount toward this reward: 10, amount needed to earn reward: 10.” I’m new to this, but does this mean that it didn’t give me my eb’s? And, shouldn’t I still get the eb’s even though the coupons made the actual purchase less than $20?

    • Sam

is the nature’s bounty $3 ECB this week the same one as in previous week? is there a limit?

    • Audi

Okay, a complete newbie here, but in reading some of your conversations, I developed some questions and couldn’t find answers on CVS’s website.

      1) When shopping at CVS, do you have to spend a certain amount of money in one transaction before earning ECBs?

      2) In Jenny’s scenario for “Just getting Started” (THAT’S ME!), are they actually three separate transactions? I’m assuming you can’t use your ECBs from one item toward another item in the same purchase? If not, do cashiers not run away when they see you coming with a handful of coupons??? ;) Just wondering what to expect when I go to the store tomorrow…. =D

    • Susan

I can not find the $2.00 off Huggies coupon when I click on
“printable” at coupons.com – I may be blind or dumb can anyone help??

    • SouthernSavers

We are implementing a new comment system and will have the old comments from before Wednesday night loaded soon… thanks for understanding.

      • Morgan

Of course we understand! We are just thankful for all you do. I will check back later for the 'old' comments.

    • elpoderdemiscentavos

There's a $2.00 coupon for Nature's Bounty vitamins that you can get when you register with them.
I believe 2 coupons is not the limit, it let me print more than that before saying I had reached my print limit for that offer.
They would go great with the BOGO and the $3.00 ECBs wyb 2.

Small bottle of Vitamin D is $4.99 in Greenville, SC.

      • joyfullysaving

Is that $2 off of one bottle or two bottles?

        • It's $2.00 off 1 bottle.

I went to CVS this morning, did the vitamin D, small bottle @$4.99 each.
The website let me print 6 coupons before telling me I had reached my print limit, so I did 3 transactions.
Had $6.00 in ECBs, so I just added merchandise for $2.00 to each transaction.
My OOP was $0.65, (those were the taxes), and I kept getting $3.00 in ECBs for each transaction, which I then used in the following transaction.

          I got:

          6 bottles vitamin D.
1 Pantene Pro-V conditioner, (25.4 fl oz)- it was on sale for $2.00.
          1 Box of cheese crackers.
          1 package of baby wipes.
1 medium bottle of liquid hand soap.

Total OOP- $0.65, (these are taxes).

          ECBs left: $6.00.

For some reason, the store didn't have the sale posted on the shelf, and when the cashier scanned the 2 bottles of vitamins, it charged full price, so I showed him the ad, page 13, and he manually gave me the deal for the 3 transactions. He also had to manually get the ECBs, but everything went well. No problem at all.

          • joyfullysaving

            Great thank you!!

    • Leah

Can you do all of these transactions in one visit? Or do I have to leave and then come back?

      • Ginger

You can. Just let the cashier know you have multiple transactions. A lot of us will pay for one transaction, and then step to the back of the line while we get our next transaction lined up. That way the cashier doesn't get a giant line and get all flustered while the people behind you get mad.

    • tori729

Anyone have a good scenario for the P&G deal using just one Febreze B1G1. I can't for the life of me find more than one of these coupons in my stuff! I also have the Pringles/Coke TPs that I was planning on using.

    • Selina

I can't find the printable coupons for Huggies… I've searched thru page after page and nothing for Huggies diapers?? I've even tried typing in different zip codes…help!

      • garrettslife
      • wendylaine

the huggies coupons might not be on there anymore i printed mine about 2 wks ago with 37160 zip

        • tudyisdigginthedeals

I bought 6 febreeze yesterday , had bogo coupons so 3 were free. The 6 of them gave me the 25.00 needed to get the 10.00 in ecb's had 10.98 from the dove deal and another 2.00 from another deal. Cost me like 40 something cents. I love that store! lol.
also got the manufacrer coupons in the store that are hanging on the coke cooler. buy one coke and a pringles get a dollar off. Had a coke coupon from the cvs site for .50 and the manufactures coupon for 1.00 0ff . got a stacker of pringles and a coke for 1.50. That may not be the best deal but was 1/2 price and i needed a snack!!!!!! lol

          • tudyisdigginthedeals

where do you get the bogo free on the natures bounty? thanks bunches!

          • Virginia

The B1G1 coupon is not valid for the deal at CVS. The coupon states 'buy 1 500 ml or larger, get 1 500 ml free'. CVS only carries the 800 ml, so while they have a size that qualifies for the 'buy 1' part, they do not have the 500ml that the coupon allows you to get for free. And the coupon does not state that it's okay to get a larger size for free.

            • tudyisdigginthedeals

Thanks for your reply to my post Virginia. I didn't notice that in refference to the size but was able to get them at my CVS store with no problem. They rang up perfectly and no beeps . Never meaning to get something i am not supposed to get either . It went through at my CVS perfectly, . And i have noticed other posts on other blogs where it has worked at their stores. I never try to use my coupons in a way not intended….. but thanks for pointing that out to me….

          • joyfullysaving

I tried to use the .50 coupon on the Powerade from the CVS site and the clerk said that they were Fraudulent (sp?). I guess the address where they send it says “mail to CMS… ” well when I got home all of my coupons have the CMS on them, even the ones I cut out of SUnday Paper stacks… Has anyone else ran into this problem? If so does anyone have a solution… Thanks

    • Jessicq

Jenny, the coupon yo've referenced for the Coke deal is for a single serve item only, so it would not work for the 2 liter- just an FYI

      • tudyisdigginthedeals

I would also love to know wher to get the bogo free couon for the natures bouty. thanks!

        • I don't know about a BOGO coupon for Nature's Bounty, but I know about a $2.00 off 1.
Go to their website and sign up for the Healthy Rewards. Once you are done they'll let you print the coupon.
If you use Firefox go back as many times as it would let you, when I printed mine, the limit was not 2, it let me print more than that.
You can combine the coupons with the BOGO sale at CVS. Small vitamin D bottles are 2 @ BOGO for $4.99. When you use 2 $2.00/1, they will take off $4.00, and you'll get $3.00 in ECBs.

    • Nicole

I am so excited about all the money I am saving….I went to CVS tonight….Total OOP cost for me was 2.63. My husband is amazed at out much money we are saving.

    • If you havent done the glade deal yet. they are 2/$5 and you get back $3 ECB each. making it a money maker without ANY coupons.

I hadnt got all of mine because they sold out but went back in and did this. It didnt spit out the ECB's but the guy looked at my reciept and saw I still qualified and checked in the register to see if this deal was still active. I told him my bottle at home said until 2/14. after checking he said yup. here you go.

I got $6 ECB for buying 2 AND he handed me back the raincheck since we didnt use it. Looks like I will still be able to do this after the sale is over with the raincheck. I love CVS.

      • joyfullysaving

I don't what this is, where did you find it in the ad?

      • Shandrika

What glade deal? Is this for candles or what? Thanks!

    • tseaney

CVS has a double ECB rewards until March 15, 2010. use this link:

    • joyce

Just left CVS. I bought 6 of the febreze, used 3 BOGOF coupons, 2-.50 off of 1 and $1.00 off of 1. After my $10.00 ECB, each of these will only cost me .52 each. WOW, what a great deal!

    • Virginia

Jenny, the B1G1 coupon listed for the Febreze is not appropriate for the CVS sale. The coupon states that you get a 500ml free, and CVS does not carry the 500ml, only the 800ml. The coupon does not state that you can get the larger size for free.

    • I'm going to frame these and hang them when my husband's at work and see how long it takes him to notice when he gets home!
