Okay so where I’m sitting it’s still technically Friday.  I’m out in San Diego for Blogher thanks to CVS for sponsoring me.  It’s been a very busy fun weekend filled with meeting other bloggers and companies.

Back on the home front I did go shopping before I left.  I went to Kroger and got a ton of produce, extra milk and bread so that my sweet husband wouldn’t have to run out for any items.

Total Before sales and coupons: $97.31
Total spent: $45.94
Total saved: $51.37 or 52%

I’m always thrilled when we can save over 50% and get a ton of produce.  Honestly guys this is reality.  To go in a store get what you need along with produce, milk and bread (all items with no coupons and still save over 50% be excited!  Don’t ever be discouraged thinking you should save more because of some TV show or even other friends, it’s all about making savings and coupons work for you.  (That’s my pep talk for you for the week…)

It’s really late in my brain which is still on east coast time, and I can’t remember everything I purchased.  However everything I did purchase was on the Kroger list this week.

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or link to your savings post.
