We tend to eat a lot of broccoli: it’s a great source of fiber and vitamin C and even has some protein. It’s yummy steamed or sauteed, but try it roasted in the oven for a unique flavor!

This oven roasted broccoli recipe is super easy and the roasting creates slightly crispy edges.

Oven Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment. Add the broccoli, oil, garlic powder, and salt and pepper and toss to coat.
  3. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring once, until the edges are slightly browned.
