I’ve shared a few videos on buying and saving on fresh produce plus how to store produce in the freezer, so today let’s cover how to store fresh produce in the pantry.  Canning is super easy but something that most folks feel belongs only in our grandparents era.

Growing up my grandmother had a little shed outside that she kept tons of canned jars of vegetables in.  They had a huge garden every year and were amazing at never letting anything go to waste.  She is my goal with our garden and co-op veggies!

If you bring in 10 tomatoes from the garden that’s enough to can in 3 jars quickly.  It doesn’t have to be large batches, and is a great way to store food longer plus not take up all your freezer space!
