I am thrilled for the first time I will be in an area with Harris Teeter’s during triples!  I won’t get there until Thursday so I imagine empty shelves but maybe you’ll leave me something.

This list is everything I can find that is free or that is a good price after triples.  For some coupons remember that buying an item at full price just to use a coupon that will triple does not mean it is the best price to actually buy it for.  If you find other deals please share!!  For those of you at Bloom this list should be similar to the prices and deals you can find.  The rules are also the same.

To see the weekly ad deals go here.  (I don’t put them together so that this list can be used for other stores that are tripling.

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items, each item will ring up half price.
2. Coupons are tripled that are .99¢ or less.
3. They will triple 20 coupons per day/transaction.
4. You must have a VIC card to get sale prices and for your coupons to double.
5. Most stores only allow one coupon per B1G1 deal, so only buy one per transaction if possible.

So many deals! Can’t wait for Wednesday. Why are there two Harris Teeter lists?

      • Jenny

It’s so that folks with Bloom triples don’t have to figure out what deals are weekly ad deals that they won’t have.

        • allison

I’m still confused. are both list good at Harris Teeter this week?

          • Jenny

Yes, one is the deals that are from the weekly and the other list is a just the list of regular priced goodies.

            • allison

Thanks- and thanks for all your hard work. I love you.

    • Heather

I am soooo jealous right now! There aren’t any of these in my STATE, much less my town…..*sigh*

    • jessica

are any krogers doing triples as well? would be great if some did…

      • Karen

Kroger claims they will not know until Wednesday morning if they are tripling but that they have had 100s of calls today.

        • Jenny

          • amy s.

Very funny! I was one of those 100’s of calls in the Nashville area!

            • Katrina

I noticed the one in Bellevue off of Hwy. 100 is tripling coupons this week.

    • Oh wow, THANKS!! I had forgotten about some of the printable coupons you have listed. THANKS again Jenny!!

    • Rebecca

I haven’t gotten up early in a long, long time but I think I will have to for these. I’m kicking myself for using my Internation Coffee coupon today at Bloom. At least I still have two left. I LOVE IC during the Winter! :D

      • Rebecca

Oops, I was so excited about the list that I forgot to say thanks soooooooooo much for the list! lol :D

    • Lisa

Please bear with me as I am newer to Triple Couponing – So is both Harris Teeter and Bloom’s having triples this upcoming week?

      • Jenny

If you live in the Greenville, Seneca, or Anderson SC area then your Bloom is tripling.

        • Lisa

          Thanks a bunch!

        • Tiya

Blooms is not tripling after today per a phone call I made today once I saw it was not listed on the upcoming ad.

          • Tiya

Sorry this is Bloom in Anderson.

        • Morgan

The Bloom in Seneca, SC is no longer tripling coupons.

    • Christy

What zip code should I use to get the Honey printable?

      • Lori

        20190 works. :)

    • Christy

What do they do with the overage money? Thanks for all your time and work….your site is awesome!

      • amy

The overage just shows up at the end of the order. If you bought something that gave you an overage… it will show up as a negative balance and you have to add something to your order that equals or exceeds the negative balance.

        • amy

We get alot of candy bars and gum this way.

      • try77705

    • Mandy

I’m soooo jealous of triples!! I wish we had triples where I live… we only get doubles up to .50 cents!!

    • mary

I am curious, do the coupons still triple if the total would be more than the item? I have had overage at places like Target and Publix with no problem. But, I was told by someone who shopped at Bloom that the coupon won’t triple if it totals more than the item. I’m planning a trip to Harris Teeter and would love to know if this applies there or not? Thanks so much!

PS- Jenny you rock! I check your site everyday- thank you

      • Christy

The coupon will triple up to the value of the item at HT – so if it’s 1.39 and you have a .50 coupon – the coupon value with tripling will show up on your receipt as 1.39. That’s what my HT does anyway – hope that helps!

    • Brenda Z.

Do all harris teeters participate in triples?? i never go cuz its a 20 min drive- but i can drive a bit for some free stuff!

      • Jenn

They should but I would really call before you make the drive. Just remember that they do limit you to 20 coupons per trip per day.

    • beth

Jenny you really are a blessing!

    • Elena

Thank you so much for doing all this
      MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • robin

Does anyone know where I might find a list of non expired coupons that are .99 and lower? Seems to me I came across one at one time but have not been able to find it again. Thanks for your help!

      • MelRae

robin, you can go to Hot Coupon World and do a search in their database by the amount of the coupon.

For example: type in 75 cents for the “value”, and choose “insert” as the source. Then you can see what is available! There should not be any expired coupons listed in the database. HTH!

      • veronica

        Go here. Great alphabetical list.

    • Colleen

If you are in the Nashville area, I wouldn’t even bother with HT if Kroger triples as well. The HT always runs out ( I wait to go if I’m going to, til the following week, like Mon or Tues) and they have SO many rules, I usually end up not saving as much as I had planned. Their latest rule is if an IP won’t scan they won’t take it. No typing it in. For some reason my Ip from Coupons.com hardly ever scan which isn’t a problem at Publix or Kroger but at HT? there goes all those savings.
So here’s hoping for Kroger triples!!!!

      • charity

i feel the same. the ht in franklin actually went through all of my coupons and hand keyed all of the ones that said do not double or triple so the savings was not that great. I LOVE MY PUBLIX!

    • Jameelah

Is there a harris teeter in atlanta or close by?

      • Jenn

You should go to harristeeter.com and enter your zip code.

    • Bethany Baker

Hey, Jenny!!! Thanks so much! I heard that if HT has run out of the items, you can buy it w/ the coupon and get a rain check–has anyone else heard that??

      • Dawn in VA

In my HT experience, they will give u the raincheck for the item. Up to quantity 4. They have not included the Qs. So, if triples ends before they can restock (happens with paper towels often) then I miss out. Since rainchecks do not expire, I wait for next Q event if I can.
Cool thing- i had a bogo raincheck for juice. When I got back there a week later, it was on sale. The cashier rang up bogo of the sale price! The sale the week B4 was bogo of full price
(Add: love SS website- a blessing)

    • Kelly

      I have a beechnut let’s grow q BOGO…can i use that with the 75/1 printable?

      • Jenn

Nope. They won’t let you use a coupon on a free item.

    • nancy

Dial Foaming Hand Soap $2 was the only print coupon that could not be found. It states that there are no Qs for this. Thank you for the list Jenny.

    • Amy

Anybody getting no prints for the Dial Foaming Hand Soap?

      • Kristin

I had te same thing happen to me

    • Jenn

Looks like Bloom triples are coming to an end for greater Greenville, SC :-(

    • Tracey

Hello! I have a few quick questions! I am still learning the website, but I have found it to be quite helpful! Regarding the upcoming triple coupon special at Harrris Teeter(HT), is this happening at HT in the Durham, NC area? Also, is there an area on the website that list the actual areas where the upcoming triple coupon deal is happening? Secondly, I have found that the coupons I print online some will say at the top “do not double”. Will HT still double/triple?

      Thanks for your help!

      • Jenny

All Harris Teeter locations will be tripling starting tomorrow. For the coupons that say “Do Not Double” if the bar cod first digit is a 5 then it will still double or triple automatically.

        • Audrey

Actually if it says DND or DNT most of the time at HT will not double. They are really cracking down on this so I will not use them most of the time as the last triples they took them out. Again depends on your manager and cashier.

    • Rachel

Can’t find the French’s mustard coupon – the link seems to be to something else. Is anyone else having this problem?

    • Jennifer

Has anyone used a printable that says do not double or triple – will HT still double.triple? I noticed a bunch of these coupons are saying they will not double, etc….

      • amy s.

For the coupons that say “Do Not Double” if the bar cod first digit is a 5 then it will still double or triple automatically.
        HTH ;)

      • Jason

The cashiers at my Harris Teeter meticulously scrutinize all of the coupons and place the DNDs aside for manual entry. So don’t assume you will get triples on those DNDs; it depends on your store.

      • Diane

I used the bisquick DND coupon this past Sunday (11/1) before the triple coupon announcement (Asheville, NC) and it doubled at the register for me. I guess it depends.

      • Aurelia

I had a coupon that said DND and tried to use it yesterday at HT and they wouldn’t double or triple it. A lot of the coupons that I have printed from the links on the site say DND and the upc code doesn’t start with a 5.

    • Mary Ann

There used to be a HT in Columbia, but it closed. I LOVE HT, and shopped there all the time when I lived in Charleston. I ran into a HT executive at the airport one time, and asked him why there were no HTs in Columbia anymore–he said they like to put them in places where there are concentrated numbers of wealthy people, and Columbia’s wealthy are spread out…why do they triple coupons then I wonder? But there are plenty of wealthy people who got that way by watching every penny.

    • Does anyone know which HT store is the best one to go to in the Nashville TN area? I drive quite a ways, so 2-3 miles isn’t going to matter. I went to the one by the 440 bypass, it is 2-story. Is there a better one with more variety or is this one the best one?

      • MelRae

Robyn, the Belle Meade HT is the *newest* HT. I don’t know that it’s any different than the others as far as what they offer. BUT, it is likely that the Belle Meade Kroger will triple as well, and it is right down the street from the HT. And, there is a Publix right across the street from the HT. So, you can get alot of shopping done right there!

        • Thank you for the information. I will try that one this time. My Kroger never doubles let alone triple. Good to know, thanks again.

      • Emily

The new Belle Meade HT (at Harding and Ridgefield) is much, much larger than the 21st Avenue store (the one at 440) and has a larger selection. Good luck!

      • Sharon

The one if Franklin, TN in Westhaven is great, just opened last week, big store, fully stocked and taking all q’s with no problem.

        • Becky H

I found the staff agreeable there, too, but they dont carry Sweet Sue, Curad, or the big Mentos. And as of Wed night, they were out of the Clabber Girl. They also had a higher price on the Minute rice and International coffee:(

          • Sharon

They do have Sweet Sue, bottom shelf by the tuna….the dumplings were there and the canned chicken.

    • Angie Alford

Has anyone ran into the issue of not having the smartsource insert in the sunday Tennessean?? I bought 2 papers this past weekend and it was not in either…

      • My home delivery had all three, so I went to buy two more for the coupons and both just had the P&G in them. They didn’t have the Smart Source or the Red Plum coupons. Same thing happened a few weeks ago. I don’t know if the store papers don’t get them like home delivery or what is going on.
        Sorry, your not alone.

        • Ang

Not sure where in Nashville ya’ll are, but the Kroger on 100 in Bellevue area almost always has a bunch of Tennesseans. I just went and bought two today and they had the SS insert.

      • Mrs. B

In Bedford County, we hda the SS and RP inserts, but out of the people I polled that bought Tennesseans, only 2 of 10 had Proctor and Gamble (none of the 4 I bought had them!!!)

I contacted The Tennessean Cust Service but haven’t heard back from them (kind of doubt I will)

      • Becky H

I only got the PG, nothing else! (Franklin)

        • Sharon

I got all three in Franklin….maybe we should all call the Tennessean about this!

      • Laura

I had one paper delivered, and it was missing the SS. I bought 2 other papers and they both had all 3 inserts. I assumed it was an error by the person delivering papers…but who knows!

    • Christy

So, if HT will dbl up to 20 coupons per day/transaction, is there a way to get around this? Can I separate my itmes and do multiple orders or can I leave the store load my car and come back in and shop again, or go to another store?

      • Abby

Technically, no. However I suppose if you had different VIC Cards, you could pull that off. Its a limit of 20 per VIC card, and you won’t get doubles or triples unless you scan your card.

      • Cat

Teeter tracks this by computer. A woman at 8:15 this morning had to leave her items because she had already gone across the border in SC and thought her 20 coups there wouldn’t show up at the NC Teeter but they did.

People often talk about using different VIC cards at different stores, but I really try to abide by the letter of the coupon law. I hate losing out to products because of coupon gouging, so I pick my top 20 coupons (plus a few extra just in case) for my early morning coupon run the day of (which I have to do before people clear off the shelves with their multiple Vic cards)… And then I just save the rest for the rest of the week.

    • amy

Just for info… the Bloom in Simpsonville and Mauldin, South Carolina stopped tripling coupons as of yesterday. I called and the manager said she did not know when they would start back up. Boo!!

    • Ellen

Just got back from HT in Brentwood and a FYI, the only Downy on sale was the higher priced new fragrances and the Dawn in 19 – 24 oz is not on sale. They did not have the Jif Peanut Butter Omega as the latest coupon is for. They were fully stocking the shelves while I was there so what is on sale, they should have plenty of. The Kroger down the street (300 Franklin Road) reported that if they were to triple, they would have signs to announce….. I also had IP coupons that went through without problems.

      • Amy

I was at the Brentwood HT as well, my internet coupons with DND went through fine. I couldn’t find the Curand Bandaids for $1.50,k cheapest were $2.39, same with the Minute Rice, it was $2.39 not $1.50. I couldn’t find the Trident Layers gum and the Jet Dry for $3.19 was no longer on sale. Otherwise I got some great deals early this morning!!

      • Mrs. B

Just called the Brentwood Kroger (300 Franklin Rd) and she said they were tripling coupons.

    • Jason

Our Egglands Best coupons are always .35/1. Is someone getting .75? I have to say I’m jealous.

      • Jenni

My Egglands .75 is for organic. It was right next to the .35 one.

        • Jason

My cage-free or organic is also .35, unfortunately. Doesn’t really matter anyway, since they don’t carry cage-free or organic at my HT.

      • Cat

In Charlotte we never get the higher value Eggland’s best or Mt. Olive coupons. It’s a shame.

    • Sadie

I printed the coupon for the Gold Medal flour but it says “do not double or triple” on the top.

    • Kristin

Just a heads up- got back from my local HT and there are new coupon policies in effect from corporate office that they are going to be strictly enforcing:

      1. They will no longer double internet printables that say DND (my HT used to w/no problem)

      2. No more using 2 Q’s on BOGO (again, used to be no problem)

      3. Here was the really interesting one- you are no longer allowed to use MORE than 2 INTERNET Q’s from the same manufacturer per day. I was told by the head cashier (who said they just had a big meeting on it) that if you have an internet Q for Kraft Velveeta Cheese and one internet Q for Kraft Easy Cheese, that you could not use any more Kraft Internet Q’s for the day.

When I asked a little more about this policy, she said HT had to do this due to all the fraud with internet q’s. People are pushing the limits and unfortunatly are making it harder and harder for those of us who are honest… I am going to have to hop on my soapbox here and say those of you who are doing this- and you know who you are- KNOCK IT OFF. There are security features built into bar codes on internet Q’s that give identifying info about WHO is commiting the fraud and the computers you are using…

      • Sharon

At the HT in Westhaven, Franklin, TN they do let you use the cpns on BOGO, and they double Inet Q’s.

      • psmith

The rule for one coupon on two BOGOs is now system-enforced, at least at my store. I tried to do this accidentally at my HT a couple of weeks ago and it would not scan the second coupon.

As someone with inside knowledge of this industry (but not HT specifically) I’m willing to bet this has to do with their deals with the manufacturers. Many sales are not the result of a grocer simply deciding to lose money on that item that week — they are often because the grocer got a special deal from the manufacturer that they’re passing on to the customer. If the BOGO is the result of a manufacturer deal, it’s pretty likely that the manufacturer’s margin is completely wiped out with both the deal AND two coupons on two items. There are a lot of reasons manufacturers offer deals to stores, but losing money is generally not one of them. I’m willing to bet HT’s BOGO coupon policy is a direct result of pressure from manufacturers. Again, it’s just an educated guess, but it wouldn’t make sense to me otherwise, because HT isn’t the one losing money. In general, stores are happy to accept coupons, and restrictive policies are almost always the result of fraud, abuse, rules from manufacturers, or anything else that causes coupon use to cut into profits.

The DND thing makes less sense. Doubling is one area I have no inside knowledge of, but I always thought the doubled portion came from the store’s margin (it’s not taxed, so it counts as a store discount), in which case refusing to double just because DND is printed on the coupon–even though it would be functionally the same–is just a way to get out of their own double coupon policy and not have to lose those profits. But they seem to be getting really strict about it, so I wonder if there is more to it than that, and if doubling also has to do with arrangements with the manufacturers.

      • Cat

I think what cashiers and managers are claiming is “corporate policy” is really at the manager’s discretion. My local HT doubled/tripled all my coupons today including the DND coupons, and I was allowed to use 3 Internet Printables.

The manager at my local store is very coupon friendly and fair. He coupons himself! He was happy to help me when I had questions about what I could and couldn’t do, and was sympathetic to my questions.

The store 3 miles down the road is not as accommodating. The cashiers sternly scan every single coupon suspiciously, checking for expiration dates, DND’s, etc. I think the cashiers are just carrying out the manager’s directives in both cases.

      • Kristin

I have never had a problem with this HT (Shelby, NC) always pleasant, polite, well stocked and coupon friendly with the occasional hiccup. It really seems like a bunch of BS to me because if the manufacturer or HT REALLY didn’t want it to double or triple, the Q would begin with a 9 or HT’s scanner would not allow it. It could possibly be this area.. I know our local Food Lion is to the point now where they are about to stop taking internet printables due to all the fraud as well. :(

Plz help, the comments in red wont print for me even if i select print with no color ! how do i fix this? thanks!!

      • Jenn

Are you referring to the matchups? You have to select “Include Coupon Matchups.”

    • eileen

      The Rotel printable is done.

    • Sharon

On Triples, Ortega taco seasoning and fajita seasoning is 99 cents, use the .75 off of 2 cpn to get them free…the Ortega Q gives a problem at checkout, just get the mgr to override, my mgr said Ortega q’s always do this.

      • Cat

Exact same thing happened to me, cashier said just about the same thing word for word.

    • Sharon

Welch’s light juices are on sale for $1.64 (nonref. type) use the .75 off cpn to make them free! Just did this and got two juices free! Yeah!

    • Is it better to go to self-scan to avoid the scrutinizing cashiers?

      • bridget

I don’t think so, because at a lot of the uscans, it can be hard to watch how they take the coupons off on the monitor (you can’t see what they are scanning to make sure that it all goes as expected). I try to avoid uscan when using a lot of coupons. Speaking of knowing what to expect, today I had a cashier not scan two of my coupons – when I was leaving the store, I kept thinking about how my bill seemed too high (it was mostly the freebies on this trip), and when I carefully looked over the receipt, sure enough, there were qs totaling $3 not deducted. I had to go to cs to get the difference refunded (the same cashier also shorted me $5 change, so not a banner day for her!).

        • nancy

Once when I was at fl I handed over my Qs and the cashier did not take care I could tell he had no Idea which Q he had scaned. I even stated to him that he was making me nervous. And that I put a lot of time into Coupons. I also asked him to tell me which one did he just scan he could not tell me. He had no Idea which Q was scanned or not. I asked for it to be done over again. Did not like that but I felt cheated. Now if I see someone not have a caring face I will hold my Q and hand one at a time. So sad. But thankfully this has only happened once.

    • John

It may have been done before but I thought that any coupon that started with a UPC # of 5 would be doubled or tripled. Not the case. HT here and at corporate says they will not double or triple any printed coupon that says “Do Not Double Or Triple”. So….it’s triple week if you’re careful.

    • This helped my organization, thanks so much for your site!

I didn’t even see a Welch’s Light. Will have to look tmrw.

    • Susan

Update from Florence SC: Very disappointing time this morning. I would guess only around 20-30% of the items listed here were actually on special at this location. Did anyone else feel that way? It was ridciulous! I spent so much time planning and preparing, only to pretty much scratch the whole plan and start over. Not good. I didn’t notice if my internet coupons tripled or not. I will have to check my receipt. I didn’t know that they stopped doing this, according to the post above somewhere. Bummer if they did!!

      • I went yesterday at around 4:30, the first day of the sale when I got off work. I can’t go any earlier if I expect to get anything perishable. HT Florence was out of a lot of items, or running low, and some of the things weren’t on special at our store. But, I still got like $70 worth of groceries for around $20 so I’m not complaining.

Also… my church is doing a food drive for Harvest Hope or whatever, so that pasta, rice, all of that stuff, I don’t use that so I’m just giving it to the food drive. I also gave some of my double/triple/sale soap in my Operation Christmas Child boxes :). So even when you don’t need an item, others will.

      • BTW all my internet coupons tripled- including one that said “Do not double or triple”. But the cashier did look through them really close…

    • Kelly

I was at Apex HT this am and it appears that they are no longer doing overages (this is the first time i’ve noticed this). When some of my coupons tripled (say .50/1 item that is 1.39) the multiplied coupon showed only the remaining mount…scanned coupon .50; multiplied coupon .89. But I am still grateful for the triple and free food anyhow!

      • Colleen

Kelly, same thing here in Holly Springs. I think that just started a couple of weeks ago. I just hope they don’t decide to actually not double or triple the q’s that say “do not double.” My new HT here is really coupon friendly and the store always has everything I’m looking for. I hope it stays that way!

    • kellyekookoo

I just went to the 21st Ave HT in Nashville and was a little dissapointed. Alot of the stuff was a different price than listed above, and I actually was overcharged 6.50. Triple or not, I don’t believe I will drive across town gain for this sale. The best deal of the day was not even a triple, look for Snuggle 100 load 3.99 w q 2.99. Great deal!

    • Samantha

Bloom is no longer tripling coupons in Upstate, SC. I called the Bloom in Greer, SC and Anderson, SC and I went to the Bloom on S. Pleasantburg in Greenville, SC and that’s where I first found out! There last day for tripling was yesterday 11/03/09!! Total Bummer!! A worker there did tell me that there is a rumor about tripling the week before Thanksgiving.

    • Liz

Many of the deals at Harris Teeter have printable coupons that go with them and some say “do not double or triple”-do these still ring up as triples? Thanks for your comments!!

      • Amelia

During my last experience with Triples, a super friendly cashier (a young guy), refused to double or triple my Qs with DND on them. He had the manager come over and override so they would not. Very frustrating. I then noticed his badge said “assistant manager”:(

    • Beth

I went early this morning for the (almost)free stuff. I had my 20 coupons in hand and all the items were in stock. But, the Minute Rice was $2.50 and the Reach Floss was almost $4. The Suave deoderant was also much higher in price. But those were the only 3 items I did not get that I needed off the free list that Jenny did. They tripled every coupon, even the DND/T ones. So for $40.00 worth of stuff, I only ended up paying $1.93 tax included.

I used to NEVER shop at HT as their prices were so high, in my opinion. But in the past few weeks, I have noticed that their prices are right in line, and sometimes lower, than Food Lions have been. Has anyone else noticed this?

      • Cat

I find that if you shop for deals at HT their prices are very competitive and very frequently beat out other stores. By “shop for deals” I don’t mean just couponing, but buying their HT meal each week, the eVic item of the week, and paying attention to BOGO, or B2G3 deals and shopping those over pure brand loyalty.

If I were to shop at HT the way I used to shop, using a list and only buying one specific brand or when I absolutely needed something, their prices wouldn’t be nearly as competitive.

    • brittany

lots of the deals posted were not at my store. tons of stuff was at reg price. i walked out only using half the Q’s i took with me :(

    • Lori

There is a $0.60/2 Old El Paso products printable somewhere out there. I found it on couponmom.com’s coupon database. The taco seasoning packets are regularly priced at 5/$5 ($1 apiece). If you buy 2 and use the coupon, it makes each packet $0.10. Enjoy!

    • Lori

Also, my HT in northern VA tripled all of my coupons even if they said DND or DNT. They also took multiple printables.

    • jennifer

which is the best HT in the MT Pleasant area as far as being coupon friendly? I dont want to waste my time if they dont triple my internet q’s! On the other hand, I went to publix today and spent $45 and saved $93!

      • Kimber

the best HT in Mount Pleasant in terms of coupon friendly is the one on Houston Northcutt. They take the Rite Aid 5 off 25 and they triple the coupons that say don’t double. The one on Longpoint does not take the 5/25 Rite Aid and always looks at every coupon.

        • jennifer

thanks! i will head that way this afternoon!

        • Ellen

A lot of times they just scan the coupon without looking at it…If you will notice the number BEFORE the bar code, if it is a 5, it will almost always double or triple, even if it says not to…if it is a 9, it will not…did you know that?

    • Denise

Would it be better to use the triple coupons at Kroger or Harris Teeter?

      • Sharon

If your Kroger triples you can usually get more for your money at Kroger. Also at Kroger, they will allow you to do several transactions the same day as long as you have your items divided so that you are only using 20 coupons per transaction. They are more flexible with the coupons at Kroger than HT.

        • Denise

Thanks Sharon. You have helped em decided where I will be taking advantage of my triple coupon offer.

    • carla

the Organic Valley coupon is for $1.00, so it won’t triple.

    • Kate

The Kellogg’s bars (chocolate pretzel) are 2/$5 and there is a coupon on coupons.com for .75 off so you get them for a quarter!

    • There is also a Wacky Mac coupon on smart source online

    • J

How regional are your items and what region do you cover? I got my local ad today and the majority of the items here are not on sale in my store. I went there tonight to see if the items were just not in the flyer. Any info on what region your info covers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

      • Jason

I found a lot of differences too. Either they are on sale at some other HT, or the prices listed here are out-of-date sale prices rather than regular prices. Here are some of the differences I found for items I actually remember or are on the receipt. Some of these are still good deals, just not as good.

        Heinz Ketchup: 2.69 (not 1.89)
General Foods International: 3.99 (not 2.39)
Carnation Evaporated Milk: 1.00 (not 0.79)

        • cari

          Heinz Ketchup: 2.69 (not 1.89)
General Foods International: 3.99 (not 2.39)
Carnation Evaporated Milk: 1.00 (not 0.79)

GFI products are 4.15 in charleston(james island)
carnation milk is $1 for the 12 oz and .79 for the 5 oz.
          heinz is $2 for 20 oz, 1.75 for 14 oz 2,65 for 36 and 32 oz….

          • Jason

That explains the milk…I was looking at the wrong size.

        • Dianne

The General Foods coupon will work with the single packet boxes and they range in price from $2.39 to $2.89. I purchased one to see and it did work. Guess it’s any International Coffee product.

    • Crystal

Went to the HT in Concord, NC. Policy has changed to only 20 coupons per DAY per household. Made one trip and went to do another. The coupons would not triple. I told them to keep the items and would return tomorrow.

    • Autumn

My HT wouldn’t take the Vicks Q off of the Puffs with Vicks. Is this working for anyone else?

      • Zipporah

It didn’t work for me either

        • Alison

They wouldn’t do it at my HT either. They also enforced the no more than 2 internet coupons per product type. I had to put back some gum and some broth. Grrr… This trip wasn’t nearly as successful as usual. I agree that a lot of the prices are different regionally. BUT, I am still eternally grateful for this list!

          • ACW

They wouldn’t take it at my HT, either, and I’m sad to say the cashier was very rude and unprofessional about it. I asked for manager assistance, because the cashier was arguing that if it were included, it would be on the picture (which we all know is just wrong). The manager dashed over, barely glanced at the item and coupon, and shook her head, no. :(
I’m also a bit frustrated that they included some items on their BOGO sale that weren’t advertised as such, and will only allow one coupon for BOGO items. Luckily, I had my second-tier coupons ready. In all, I paid about $10 for a $50 ticket.
As always, my sincere appreciation for this list! :)

      • Cat

It does not work technically, no. As soon as my cashier scanned it today and it beeped, he looked at it and said, “Did you buy Vick’s cough syrup?” I said straight up, “No, it said ‘Vick’s Product’ and I saw the Puffs with Vick’s are on sale, so I figured I’d see if it applied. You can pull the Puffs out.” I even moved to grab the Puffs out of my bag.

But this guy really likes me, because I never go over my limit and I never try to pull any fast ones, and he looked at the Puffs, saw the Vick’s logo and said, “We’ll just override it…”

Love that guy. After I checked out(Saved $26.52 and Spent $1.04) he just marveled, “Look at that huge bag of groceries, for A DOLLAR AND FOUR CENTS!” He actually started plundering through my bag and said, “You know, and this stuff WILL NEVER go bad! It’s all canned, or pasta… That’s awesome!”

We joked for a bit (no line) and then I left, after admonishing him for not couponing himself. :)

        • Rachel

          Lucky! What a nice cashier!

      • Malinda

Hello. I am in Fort Mill, SC and the cashier took my coupons for Puff and the Vicks for the tissue. It was right on time too because my 19 month old has been sneezing alot today.

    • Shawna

Warning…watch your coupons when checkiing out. My mother went this morning to the Harris Teeter on Savannah Hwy in Charleston, SC and had a hard time. The frenchs mustard would not triple and when asked about it she was told that whatever the register rings it up as is correct. They seemed to not be quite as friendly as our local Publix. She had alot of coupons that would’ve been a great deal except they would not triple them.

    • Ellen

Hi! My friend and I hit HT Wed. at 7 and got lots of good deals!!!!! Just wanted to let you know that the Puffs with Vicks in it, the coupon you suggested, did not work…so I asked the cashier to remove my Puffs…couldn’t pay full price for them!!!! LOL

    • Jenn

Does anyone recommend any particular HT in Charleston? I work right down the street from the HT on East Bay but live on James Island. I have a few options but don’t want to put all my coupon eggs in one basket only to get a snotty checker. Thanks!

      • Pam

I went to the HT on Savannah Hwy. and the James Island store Wednesday. I think James Island seemed to be more stocked than Savannah Hwy, which was out of several items when I got there about 10:00 in the morning. They are both very strict about only 20 coupons and would only let me use one coupon for each BOGO. They did double all my coupons with no trouble. My daughter and I both have cards so were able to do two transactions and got almost $100 dollars worth of groceries for about $20.00. Not bad!
Someone in a earlier post said the HT in Mt. Pleasant, Houston Northcutt, would take the Rite Aid 5 off 25 coupon so I am going to go there today and try that. My favorite thing about Publix is they always take my competitor coupons!

        • Jenn

          Thanks so much!

          • Taryn

I live on JI and love our HT. I have tried the one in West Ashley a few times, but think they are a little more strict. The JI HT is very well stocked even during triples weeks and the cashiers and managers are very nice.

    • Jennifer

I couldn’t use the 55 Vicks product coupon on the Puffs with Vicks. Anyone have better luck? Bummer- I was excited about some free tissues!

    • Christy

I have to drive 40 mins to my nearest HT. I did though because we have no other stores that triple and I had to getin on this, at least once.
I shopped the Savannah Hwy store on Wed morning. My mother came too, so it made it more worth while for use to travel together. The cashiers and managment as well as the dept. managers we GREAT! They tripled all our coupons ( 20 of course) including internet DND. I also used 4 internet cpns on the progresso broth, so they were not picky about the 2 internet per manuf thing either. The complaint that I have is, the meal deal did not ring up properly, I paid for all the items, $11.37 instead of $5.99. I purchased 3 Secret deoderants – used 2-.55 manf coupons and 1 B2G1 free coupon. The cashier did not do the B2G1 right, so I did not get my 3rd one free. The cashier my mother had rang her secret deal up and did it correctly.

      • Christy

I took my receipt back and they credited me the money for the messed up transactions…..our HT rocks!

Does anyone know how often they do triples???

    • Hi Jenny,

Thanks for all of your great match-ups. My coupons and prices are a little different then yours listed but I really like your shopping list.

I got all of this for $8! Not bad.

    • Beth

There is a printable Wacky Mac at the same site for the Curad bandaids

    • Heather

I am new to Southern Savers and need some help. I don’t understand some of the abreviations listed. For example:

      Wacky Mac $1.50
-.50/1 off Wacky Mac SS 5/10
      B1G1 Wacky Mac SS 7/19
.50 saved for college wyb Wacky Mac

What does the “SS 5/10” stand for?

      • nancy

Smart Source March 10. Look at the top of the page for info for beginners. It toke me about three months of newspapers saving before I had a good stoke of Qs. HTH

    • Gil

The HT down the street from me(Wilmington, NC) has the B. Lloyd Nuts Salad toppings(with Paula Deen on the pouch) on VIC for $1.99(2.49 reg) and all the bags have $.50 peelies.

also, THANKS for this website. I’m new to the coupon deal and have loved saving so much $$ recently.

    • Cathy

I tried the Breakstones Sour Cream coupon. However it is a “9” so it does not triple. This item was definiately not free.

    • Barbara

Harris Teeter is approx. 15-20 miles from my home. Like at other stores, many of the items you featured were picked over when I got there. Would have been great if I had beat the crowds. For me, the ‘triples’ were not worth the time and gas to go there. I hope HT builds a store closer to me!!

    • jessica

when to food lion just now in JONESBORO and they are tripling..
but there are many things on this list that they do not carry.. and the the prices are about .10cents more

        • sharon

thank you that helps and I recieved a sales ad that says they are.
          So Iam excited.

    • anita

at food lion when you buy the yeast, a 50 cent maf. coupon print. Great to triple on your next order without buy a specific product.
