These deals start Wednesday 8/11 at Harris Teeter. This is the big SUPER DOUBLES week. That means coupons $1.98 or less will double.

Remember there are two lists for super doubles, this list from the actual ad, and the list of regular priced deals.

Coupon Policy:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items, each item will ring up half price.
2. Coupons are doubled that are $1.98 or less.
3. They will double 20 coupons per day.
4. You must have a VIC card to get sale prices and for your coupons to double.
5. Most stores only allow one coupon per B1G1 deal, so only buy one per transaction if possible.

      Thanks Jenny, You're awesome!!!

    • Hoodo

i clicked the link for the honey nut cheerios printable (.75/1) but it just takes me to the site with no link for a coupon. Anyone know where the coupon is on the site? Thanks!

      • bunchofpants

The print limit was probably reached on that coupon and it's no longer available. Happens a lot.

    • Momsdword1

Thanks for the list. I always use your site for my shopping “navigation”. You are the BEST!!!

    • Reymannkids

Question? Does Harris Teeter have a printed coupon limit on one product? Example… if I have 4 printed lunch meat coupons, can I use all 4? Thanks for the help.

      • Qponing09

HT’s policy is actually 2 IP’s for each item. If you have a store/cashier that actually sticks to their policy, they will only allow you to use 2 of those coupons. Also, for all other coupons, the register will only double up to 3 like coupons for any one item. After those three all others will only be taken at face value. I found that one out the hard way. From their corporate coupon policy on their website:

        Internet Coupons

•We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted.
•With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.
•We do not accept internet coupons that do not appear to be originals or that won’t scan.

Their full policy may be viewed at http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/online_coupons/coupon_policy.aspx

        Hope that helps.

      • Melissa

My HT has right up by customer service that you can only use 2 internet printable coupons (the same one) in one transaction.

      • Maria

        Two like IP per transaction.

        • christa

So if you go back later the same day, can you use two more like coupons, as long as you haven't doubled twenty yet that day?

          • Jhflora654

Or you can do two transactions. I've done that before

      • kcreviews

I want to say they will only take 2 per transaction, but check the corporate q policy.

      • JL

I think they will only dble 3 like coupons. And you can only use 1 for B1G1 items. Check policy they are posted online and all over the stores. The HTs I go to are very strict.

        • leisa2

Actually it really depends on the cashier. Some of them enforce the only 3 like coupons and some will let you do as many like coupons as you have.

      • Gracecoupons

I always use 3 of the same (IP or Newspaper q) and they will double all of them. I haven't tried more, but I know they will double at least up to 3

    • Marlene

$1/3 on the Hunts snack pack makes it 33cents each

    • Bholmes75

I have a question on which stoneyfield yogurt that is?

    • Jenni

Wish there was a Harris Teeter's near me! Great sales!

    • jbarnwell

Will HT take expired coupons or are they picky about that? Some places will still take them. Also, will coupons that say “Do not Double” still double??

      • Jalonzo

My HT is very picky about dates. BUT they take the do not double ones as long as they start with a 5. I know some people report having their cashiers take them out and put them in manually- but I have never had that happen

        • MaryT

So far, my HT cashiers just scan them all. The only time they stop is if it beeps — I'm assuming if there was an expired one it would beep? I'm really careful about that because I don't want them to start “hawk-eying” my “do not doubles”! Both HT and Lowes Foods so far have doubled the DNDs — I've watched the screen to verify.

      • JL

My HT will take out the do no dbls. I try to catch them all but I have missed 1 or 2 before. I personally think if it says do not dbl then don't try. We get so many good deals already.

    • JenK

I am so excited about HT this upcoming week I am GIDDY! Such a dork, I know. The coupons have been good lately, now the sales are good too! I need to get organized.

    • Teresa

Is there a limit on the e-Vic price for the Peter Pan and the Welch's? Can I buy six and still get the same price?

      • heather

Its usually just 1 per vic card

      • Jalonzo

It says limit 3 (mix and match) on the ad I got today. We get the ads a day early in our local paper.

    • Kim

Is the Kellogg promotion(buy 10 items get $10.00 off your next shopping trip) going on next week also? I just got back from HT and I bought 22 boxes of Pop Tarts, 6 boxes of Cereal and 2 boxes of Nutrigrain bars for $11.00 and I still have a $10.00 off my next trip coupon. It was awesome.

      • It is continuing through 8/14 next week is that last week.

      • Bholmes75

the catalina promotion ends on 8/14 but the sale price on them ends today.

    • Xraychik512

I can't find the grape jelly q in either one of my SS coupons. Maybe I didn't get them? Anyone know of any others?

      • Xraychik512

And there are no more of the Breyers icecream :(

        • Knittershannon

I hear ya. That would have been a nice treat!

      • AndysGirl

There is actually a coupon in the CURRENT Harris Teeter ad for $1 off and 2 Welch's Jams, Jellies or Spreads, any size, any flavor. It's on the 3rd page, top middle. It's kind of hard to read, but it states that it is a manufacturer coupon and doesn't expire until 8/31/10. If you don't still have your weekly circular, maybe you live close enough to HT to stop by today and pick one up? I'm sure they won't have any tomorrow, as this ad ends today.

        • Jessica C

Nice! I've never noticed a manufacturer's coupon in their ad before. How convenient :)

          • AndysGirl

This was the first time (since I've been couponing) that I've noticed a manufacturer coupon in their ad. It was actually kind of random. I used mine today to get 2 free jars of jelly (in conjunction with the E-Vic special). It wouldn't scan but the cashier keyed it in.

            • MaryT

I also used their ad coupon on Wednesday, and it didn’t scan either. Thought it was kind of odd that their own coupon would have to be entered manually?! No wonder we have so much trouble with the others!

        • Xraychik512

Ohh man! I just got back here and read this…too late now :( Thanks anyway!! :)

    • sarahinNC

I can't find the Honey Nut cheerios coupons for 75 cents off. The link brings me to a page that says to play games, but says nothing about coupons. Any ideas?

      • Guest

You have you play the game to get the coupon.

    • Allthatglitters2009

Are they really strict about the 20 coupons per day? I live 45 mins away from Harris Teeter. Thanks for any help!

      • Guest

Yes, it is tied to the Vic card. If you have a different number, you can try. My sister has been turned away with a 2nd Vic card at the same cashier. YMMV

        • Allthatglitters2009

Thank you ladies for the help!!!!

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Yes, they are. The coupons are tied to your VIC card so they know how many you've redeemed in a day and they stop doubling automatically.

We drive half an hour to HT, so I feel your pain. We only go for Super Doubles and Ultimate Triples!

      • Teresa

I live 35 minutes away, but I do have two cards that I use and have never had a problem with that, so I am able to do two transactions at one time.

      • Yes, if you have one card, it will only double 20 coupons per day.

    • AndysGirl

Harris Teeter is also running a Catalina promotion on Nature Valley Granola Bars (6.7oz or larger) and Fiber One Chewy Bars (any flavor/variety) between 8/9 and 9/5. Buy 3, get $1.50 OYNO, buy 4, get $2.50 OYNO or buy 5 or more and get $3.50 OYNO. It doesn't look like these items are on sale this time, though there have been some coupons lately. Actually, I got this Catalina deal at Walgreens this week and they do have the Fiber One and Nature Valley on sale. Also got 30 Bonus Box Tops for my son's school because I bought $15 of participating products (before coupons). Tried to use the $3.50 ONYO at Harris Teeter, but the cashier said they only accept OYNO coupons from other grocery stores.

      • Bholmes75

They don't take walgreen bucks. They don't consider them a competitor.

        • christa

Our store in Asheville NC WILL accept Walgrees RRs. They are actually Manufacturer's coupons. I have also been able to use them at Bi-Lo but not at Ingles.

        • Ruralreality

I assume they won't take CVS bucks either — have lot's of the buy 15.00 get 3.00 off !!

    • Courtneyslp

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Nestle coupons to print? I had this trouble last month also. It says it doesn't support my printer, then gives me directions on how to resolve the problem. I follow them and they still won't print. Any ideas?

      • Becky

Try using the Firefox browser to print them. I used to have trouble all the time using IE and when I switched to FF, all the issues went away!

    • Melissa in NC

Yay! Been waiting for Super Doubles to use some really great coupons! Thanks Jenny!

    • Get1coupon

Bryers ice cream site went all the way to print and says 'no coupons to print'. bummer!

      • Beth

I feel like it's so sneaky that they do that. They took all of my info to send me email and I didn't get a coupon!

    • Karen L.

Don't know what I would do without you!! SERIOUSLY!

    • Lisa

Does anyone know which flyer the new england coffee coupon came in? I seem to remember one recently and can't find it!! It's on special evic for 3.00 and was wanting to get some….thanks!

    • Fragomeni

FYI: I shopped the Kernersville, NC Harris Teeter this morning and they are enforcing a rule about b1g1 deals that says you can't use a coupon that says you have to buy 2 on the b1g1 items. They say you have to buy 4 (2 full price and 2 free). The cashier even showed me a printed paper with the basics of the rule highlighted. She claimed the system wouldn't scan them, but never tried. She was telling everyone this before they even checked out.

      • Jalonzo

I just left that store! LOL. I just 2 coupons on 2 mystic pizzas that were B1G1. I know that is their policy though. BUT it will scan b/c they changed their system from a true B1G1 (where it took 100% off of the second item) to half price for each. I will avoid doing that for my next trip. I spent $2.59 and saved over $41.88 in coupons! I bet I know which cashier you had.

      • AndysGirl

Actually, I think you should only have to buy 3 of the item, right? That would bring the price down a little more than having to buy 4. You could “buy” one, get 2nd “free” and then “buy” another one. Even though that's really a joke because we know that we're actually “buying” all 3 and just paying half price. I did that today with the Ziploc containers. They were BOGO with regular price 3.25, so I paid $1.62 for each. Minus the doubled coupon, I paid 0.62 each.
HT is so inconsistent with their policy. I've actually been to the same cashier twice in one day and she allowed a coupon the first time and refused it the second.

        • Sam

The cashier in my store in cary cornerstone area pulled all my Lysol coupons 1.00 off 2, when I was buying two of everything and told me Id have to buy 3 of everything. What a pain. He too did not even try to scan them, he just inspected my coupons and then pulled these out while analyzed my purchases. He actually waited to start ringing up my items until I handed him my coupons.

      • Fragomeni

I actually had time to look at my receipt last night and realized that the B1G1 Arnold sandwich thins did not ring up 1/2 price for each. They actually both came up full price and then it took the total off for one at the bottom, which is contrary to the HT ad. Seems the Kernersville store is playing games. A coworker of mine was able to use his $1/2 coupon on the toilet cleaner perfectly fine at a different store later in the day yesterday.

    • Gnslorei

I used my $1.00 coupons for Ball canning lids, with super doubles it make them 45 cents!

      • NCcouponer

        Where is the $1 coupon?

    • Thanks Jenny!

    • Vernerpjm

Good shopping trip this a.m. at the University City HT.

Not on the list but also a freebie is Mentos gum. On sale for 99 cents, and the coupons are $1 off two.
Ziploc containers are BOGOF making them 2/.25 with the $1.50 coupon.
They also had $1.25 peelies on the Blue Bunny Champ ice cream cones, making them 83 cents each.

    • This morning at my HT in Charlotte, one of the employees told me that they're going to start enforcing the “Do not double or triple” on internet coupons. She told me that my cashier shouldn't have let mine double today, and that probably by January all the stores will be enforcing the rule to only allow what it says on the coupon. I think that most of the do not double ones are printable, and not all of them are like that. But just be aware that they might refuse to double some of your printables in the days ahead.

      • My store in Hickory already does this and has for quite some time.

      • Bholmes75

yup I noticed it too. he was taking forever. Very frustrating when you got two toddlers in tow.

    • Ashlee

Just hit HT this morning! There is an E Vic Special for Pampers Jumbo pack for $6.97. Use your 1.50 coupon- that would make it $3.97!

    • Jsimons13

      the dole Q is $1/3 not $1/1 :/

    • Karenhames

The Harris Teeter on James Island did not have the Del Monte Fruit Smoothies on sale. But I did get some great deals!! Lots of free yogurt! Ziploc containers are bogo and they have a coupon on the display that will double.

      • Yep, I got 4 packs of Ziploc containers for 50 cents! I had two $1.50/2 coupons.

    • Cjsmom1990

Uncle Ben's country inn rice(6oz box) is on sale for $1 each. there is a 75/2 q on their site making them .25 a box.

    • Bholmes75

Good 1st day at harris teeter. today's freebies: 3 danonino yogurts, 1 activia, 1danactive, 1 danimals, 2 mystic pizzas, 3 single borden cheeses, and 2 welch grape jellie. total saved $60.51. Total spent $5.92!

    • jbarnwell

Will HT take competitor's coupons like ones that specifically say Kroger and Target?

      • JL

No. They only take store coupons for $$'s of total. For example get $5.00 of $25.00 but not store q for specific items.

        • Lisa

is that all harris teeters, or just certain ones

          • They will all take competitors coupons for $x off $x, but it is up to them who they consider a competitor. And my store won't take internet coupons for $x off $x amount, but some will.

          • JL

Check the coupon policy online and instores my HT has them posted at every register and in the entrance. They do not mess around.

        • Jean

Does that mean they will take the $10 off 50 coupon for Bloom that was in the (Charlotte) Observer today?

          • Jalonzo

Most likely as long as they are near to the Blooms. I live in Kernersville and there is no Bloom in competition with my HT so they won't take it most likely. Bring it and try :)

          • JL

Not sure bring it and try it. That will be a sweet shopping trip if they did.

    • Karen

Here is a link to Minute Rice…there are 2 coupons for .50 off….this week at HT The minute rice ready to serve is on sale 2 for $4….with the double coupon they will only be $1 each….My kids tried the chicken flavor tonight, and LOVED it (which is why I searched for a coupon :)…also under the TOP of the package… there’s another .50 off coupon (careful how you tear it)…

    • Kari C

      Can I use a $1.00/2 coupon on a B1G1 item?
      Thanks in advance!

      • Yes, if you get 2 of the item.

      • Most stores will allow you, but I have heard some reports today of people having trouble with this.

      • TheChapleigh

The official answer is “No”, per my situation today with Ziploc products BIGI and my trying to use the Q for 1.5o off two Ziploc items… this is what Jenny means in the coupon policy written at the top of this page. Her recommendation is to only buy ONE, and use a Q that says, (for ex.) .50 off one. Do not try to use two of these .50 off coupons in one transaction, either, even though if you just go back the next day and buy another, you, the consumer, still get what you want with the use of a coupon on a BIGI, but it means more trips to the store and more diversity in your coupon stash. So, if you want 2 BIGI items (ie, 2 boxes of ziploc bags) and you want to use 2 Q's for them, you will have to buy them on separate days or separate transactions. Bummer, I know… I get confused, because at Lowes foods, you CAN use 2 coupons on BIGI… Hope this helps, even if cashiers are not consistently catching this one — my cashier first looked through all my Q's today, and pulled those 3 Q's out & told me the policy. However, if your cashier just scans them, I think it would fly under the radar, thus amounting to the vast amounts of confusion and inconsistency on this policy. Interestingly, though, this same cashier let the 1.25 off 3 Ragu jars pass, even though THAT was also BIGI… it makes no sense as they ring up half price and you technically won't get any for free. Thus, I assume it's up to the cashier to enforce as seen by my experience with this descrepancy today.

    • Hbannist

I'm kind of new at this and have a question. If the price for an item is 2/5.00 and you buy 2, can you use two $1.00 off the purchase of 2 coupons? It seems like this works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes. Just trying to figure out the rules. . . Thanks.

      • Jalonzo

No, you need to purchase 4 of the items.

    • Lydia C.

I'm planning on stocking up on some of the 7th Generation items. I forget the policy though….is it you can only use 3 of the same coupon per day or you can only get 3 of the same item per day?? I have $1.00/1 any 7th Gen. item coupons and I'd like to get as much as possible each trip. Thanks!!

      • It depends on your store's interpretation of the rule. My store it would be 3 like coupons, so 3 Seventh Generation items per transaction. Some stores you could get 3 dish soaps and 3 cleaners, etc.

    • 129hutch

Headed to NC mountains for vacation tomorrow. (Excited about highs only in the 70s :) Anyway, it will be my first time ever shopping at HT since we don't have one near my home. Do you have to have a loyalty card to get the sale prices? If so can I get one on the spot at the Customer Service desk? Thanks for any help.

      • Mikealialex

        yes and yes

      • christa

If you are going to the store in Asheville beware because they strictly adhere to the coupon policy. If it says Do Not Double they will see it and hold it out and have a manager manually enter it so it won't double. You can only use 3 identical insert coupons or 2 identical IPs per transaction. And of course a limit of 20 doubled per day. If you don't already have a card you won't be able to get the E-VIC specials b/c you have to sign up for it online. They are nice just strict about coupons. Good luck!

    • Melissa

I am getting frustrated and confused. I have always used this list when shopping at Harris Teeter. Today I have been half-way through the list and have only found one coupon in my sales flier from the list. Is anybody else having the same problem?

I am in Raleigh NC and get the News and Observer. I am not finding the coupons in the fliers listed. :(

      • NCcouponer

YES- I get the News and Observer and had a terrible time finding coupons this time around. I was all ready for a taco night (Mission Tortillas and El Paso spice) and neither were in our inserts. I went this morning and still made out pretty good- but yes, it is frustrating to get excited for certain coupons just to find they weren't in our paper..

        • Deb

same here did not have hardly any of the coupons but still did ok

      • MaryT

I live in Mebane, NC and get the Burlington Times-News. We also did not get the Mission Tortilla Q and some of the others. Maybe they didn't run them in any NC papers? I just press on and find other good deals, though still disappointed! :o(

    • Deb

I was at the Monroe, NC Harris Teeter, at 8 am today with my coupons in hand, when I left I still had the majority of coupons till in my hand. Why do people have to wipe the product off the shelves? there will be 2 more trucks delivered between last nights and next sale. Please be courteous and save some items for others.
that's my rant for this afternoon

      • Amy

Well I don't feel so bad now. I went this afternoon (to a different store) and pretty much everything was wiped out. I was a little frustrated. I hope they restock, and I am able to get some of the deals. I plan on going every morning & afternoon before and after work.

        • Dquin

I don't know where you are located, but I recommend scoping it out to find a HT that is not in a high couponer area. The HT right by my house is in a high couponer area, but the one by my church is in a very wealthy neighborhood and is always well stocked. There are many HTs in our city, so if one is out, find another one. Plus, I find that they restock a lot during special sales. One time I went on a Saturday morning and the store was empty and everything was restocked, it was awesome.

      • Dmbnpj

Because of all you soccer moms!

        • guest

I’ve read several different comments from you on this post alone and none have been positive in any way. Must you be so negative? This is intended to be a positive forum. I have flagged all of your comments in hopes that your negative comments will be removed. Stick to the old saying “if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all.”

      • pete

HT in most stores will adding an extra truck because of the super doubles this week, my local one is having a truck on Thu, Fri, Sat and Monday.

      • JL

HT has a limit of 3 like coupons which means you can only get 3 items with the coupons. I think this is a reasonable amont(I wish all stores had limits). It just goes to show you how many people use this site. If you have time explore the store and be on the lookut for closeout items that you may have coupon's for but the deals are not posted on this site. I like Ht b/c they make it fair to everyone with thier coupon limits Good luck

    • Mom2_3cuties

Ziplock containers are bogo $3.45 is the price I have $1.50 off coups so it come out to 45 cents for 2 packages!!!

      • Ashan

This is a great deal, at my HT it was only $3.25 BOGO so it was a mere $ .25 for 2 packs. The coupon was from the 8/01 not sure which insert. There are also some coupons in the bottoms of some of the containers!

        • Kmiller_icc

Our HT had them $3.25 BOGO. I had a couple printables for $1.50 off any ziploc product but can't remember where I printed them. If anyone knows the link, please post it for those who want to take advantage of this great deal. Thanks

    • palmettogirl35

Does anyone know if they are still running the Kelloggs Catalina deal…buy 10 Kelloggs products get $10 off your next shopping trip?? I am hearing so many conflicting reports.

      • Amy

        It goes through 8/14/10.

        • palmettogirl35

          Thank you!!

          • Kathleen

I bought 10 kellogg's fruit snack boxes today and no catalina. I got junk type info / coupons so I know it was printing.

      • anv12

i work there and we are i think until saturday

    • Karen

Here is a link to Minute Rice…there are 2 coupons for .50 off….this week at HT The minute rice ready to serve is on sale 2 for $4….with the double coupon they will only be $1 each….My kids tried the chicken flavor tonight, and LOVED it (which is why I searched for a coupon :)…also under the TOP of the package there's another .50 off coupon (careful how you tear it)…

      • Jonibarnwell

Can you resend the link? I don't see it!! THANKS!!

    • Dmbnpj

From the coupons in the inserts in the Raleigh News and Observer many of the coupons listed above are not in those weekly inserts. Normally the list is fairly close but on this one hardy any of the listed coupons in the inserts were right.

      • Dmbnpj

And the dole fruit bowl in the all you magazine is only if you purchase 3 of them. Therefore not free or even a good deal on those nasty things

    • Kari3

Thanks for your diligence in posting as I am all about saving money right now. I am fairly new to being a coupon warrior but I am noticing that many of the item prices shown here at Harris Teeter (and other stores like Kroger and Food Lion) are not the prices at my stores in Raleigh/Cary, NC. So although today at Harris Teeter I saved over $20, I still paid $17 for what I bought versus a lower total based on prices above. Do others find that there is a good deal of item price variation?

      • Danibush37

I live in Lincolnton nc and my prices are more expensive as well but they are still good deals

    • JM6

I can't find the Welch's coupon in “-.55/1 Welch’s Jam, Jelly or Spread, 18.8-32 oz, SS 8/01 (makes it FREE).” Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong??

      • Dmbnpj

Its not there….many of these are wrong

        • Guest

I had the coupon in my SS 8/1 insert. Please don't discourage others by saying the things Jenny posts are wrong. If you look at the regional variations for all inserts, you'll see that some areas got these coupons while others didn't. It all depends on the area you live in. If you live in an area (or have access to the papers from these areas) that gets the bulk of the available coupons (ATL, Charlotte, Orlando), you will get more coupons than other areas. Sorry if you live in an area that doesn't get alot of these coupons as I'm in the same situation.

    • Kathleen

I went to H.T today and purchased 6 boxes of General Mills fruit snack. The paper stated buy 5 and get a $3 coupon off next purchase. But when I checked out no coupon, only an advertisement for the deal I should have gotten. Is there anything I can do? Will the store give me credit? I didn't even realize it until I got home since I had my 2 year old with me and just stuffed my receipt and print outs in my bag when the cashier handed them to me.

      • heather

I would take your receipt to CS and simply show them that you bought the 6 boxes and then maybe show them the printed ad you recvd instead of the catalina. My HT will ring the particular item themselves, just to make sure it is working properly, and then give me the cat that printed out, with their apologies. I know it is working because I did it yesterday. This may sound silly, but check your reciept to make sure that they all rang up properly….last week on the kelloggs deal the cashier only rang up 9 boxes, not the 10 needed, (even though I did get 10) and when I didn't get the cat , I walked right over to CS and they printed one out for me. (Needless to say, I didn't realize the fact that the cashier made a mistake til I got home and looked over my reciept.)

      • Paulhowe37

same thing happened to me yesterday, even the advertisement. I went to customer service and showed them my receipt, they gave me three dollars cash. Good luck with yours.

    • Theeg

I went to HT this morning, purchased the ff:
      1 welch grp jam
      2 peter pan peanut butter
1 kraft homestyle mac and cheese dinner
      1 solo plates
      2 jack daniel bbq sauce
      4 kotex pantiliners
      1 nesquick powder
2 oscar mayer deli shaved ham
      2 gum toothbrushes
      2 100 kraft calorie bites
      1 chips ahoy heath
      1 oscar mayer hotdog
      2 ritz crakerfuls
      1 ht 2% milk
I used coupons and 1 $10 catalina from kellogs, my OOP was .09 cents!!! Thank you, Southern Savers!

    • Ruralreality

      Three questions:
To get it straight in my pea brain – Say I give them a coupon of 1.75 and they MATCH it giving me a total of 3.50 off — if so – that is BRILLIANT – WOW.
If my Teeter sees CVS as a “competitor” does the following CVS coupon meet their criteria — $3.00 off when purchase $15.00 coupon that printed when I scanned my CVS card inside the store at the machine – I have a few of these!
Also, if I have a $2.00 off coupon will they take it and round it down to 1.98 and double it up to their max of 1.98 or will it be rejected because it is more than 1.98 – bummer if so.

      • Jalonzo

The $2 coupon will not double- it will be taken at face value only. Sorry

    • lu

mentos were on sale for .99 and coupons are $1 off 2. makes it FREE!!!

      • newbie

where did you get the mentos coupon?

        • JL

Coupons were from acpl of weeks ago in Sunday paper can't remember which insert but the are do not double so my HT will not take them as stated in thier coupon policy.

        • Krista

          7/18 SmartSource

    • Maryccc1959

The fruit rollups are a good deal. They are 1.50 and if you buy 5 you get a $3 cat. I just bought 6 total was $9 used 3 of the .50 from the boxtop insert this past sunday and paid $6 and got back a 3 cat so it was just .50 a box after coupons and cat.

    • Ligiamunhoz

The Hefty kitchen trash bags (20ct) are on price cut at my HT at Bristow for $2.44(orig. $5.49), using this Facebook coupon ($1 which it will double) you can get these bags for only $0.44.

    • I hope u can answere this. Is there any pattern to their super/triple coupons each month? I am asking b/c we have a harris teeter where we vacation and will b there sept 11_18 and would love to keep my money for fun stuff there instead of food. Thanks.

    • Im4tnac

Is there any place to find wants is on the front on each red plum/ smart Source? It is hard to find some on the older coupons with out knowing what on the fornt 0f it?

      • NCcouponer

I've tried to search with no luck.. The dates are all on the side binding of the inserts. Advice for the future from Jenny- write the date really big on the insert when you first get it!

      • Bholmes75

        Yes til the 14th

i found this coupon for wholly guac, but it says “do not double” so does that mean it won’t work? http://www.eatwholly.com/images/promotions/yankee/coupon.pdf
if it doubled the wholly guac would be free.

found Campbells Select Harvest soup for $1.25 @ Herndon, VA store today. Had two $1/1 coupon printed from http://www.campbellskitchen.com/coupon.aspx and made 75 cents on each can!!!!!

    • Bholmes75

?2nd HT trip. Today's freebies: 1 mystic pizza, 2 danonino yogurts, 2 borden singles cheese, 1 kraft homestyle mac and cheese. today was juice day lots of apple and eve and juicy juice boxes. Total spent $20.35. Total Saved $70.35

      • cop

FYI, the 1.50 printable or copy of the mystic pizza coupon is a fraud coupon. All HT will not accept it. Its like the Doritos free bag coupon. Someone made that coupon and then sent it out. It doesnt exist.

        • Pgibb76

how is that possible, I got that coupon straight from there website.

        • Krista

It’s possible that you were told that but I know I printed mine straight from the company’s website when it first came out months ago. It’s real. PDF file (so no print limit) but real.

    • Patricia-Mamaof4

Are Pop Tarts part of the Catalina?

      • Ligiamunhoz

Yes they are part of the kellogg's catalina…

    • TheChapleigh

For those who may have thought, as did I because another website spoke of it & I understood it to be acceptable… Manufacturers coupons found on the Target Website will NOT be accepted at Harris Teeter. I am not talking about the coupons from Target that say “TARGET WEB COUPON” on the top, but rather “MANUFACTURERS COUPON” and you'd never even know it had anything to do with Target except for the lovely red & white Target bullseye on it. It in the past has scanned just fine, even though at first the cashiers would hesitate. I always said, “it's a manufacturers coupon found at the Target website, NOT their store specific coupon” and then they'd take it & it scanned fine. However, the Aberdeen NC store must have just had a coupon-policy instructional meeting for all the cashiers because I have, this week, run into some issues that I'd NEVER KNOWN were issues before, simply because in the past they must not have been properly identified or enforced. I was thoroughly surprised, as I'm a recent convert to couponing & am trying my best to learn the couponing strategies while still obeying the rules… that's important to me. Just makes me feel like I'm trying to get away with something at the register… They DID say, however, that if I got a coupon MAILED to me from Target AND it was also a manufacturers coupon, they would take it. Since it was an internet printable, they will not. WOW, the rules in the fine print ;) Hope this helps some of you who are new to all this like myself :)

      • JL

When I first started I ran into this as well. By no other stroe coupons they mean no manfacture coupons with other store logos on them.

        • TheChapleigh

Thank you, that further defines what “no other store coupons” means ;) Learning the lingo…

      • LeAnnaShaw

Actually the supervisor at my store said they were going through extensive retraining of the cashiers. Also I got an email from corperate that said they were in the proccess of 're-writing' their coupon policy. Big changes are coming I think!

        • Bst Pierre

Yep. My husband and I were kind of anticipating these changes, since SO many people have jumped on board with super-couponing due to the econemy. When I first began, I didn't have a quarter of the problems trying to use coupons as I've had at two HT's in our area in the past 3 weeks! My husband asked me in the beginning…how long will the manufacturer's/stores allow this to continue. My reply was forever… I hope they don't make it too difficult for all of us trying to provide quality products for our families at a reasonable cost.

I would also like to say THANK YOU JENNY for helping all of us out here on Southern Savers!

      • cop

Just to make sure you fully understand. At HT if the coupon is a competitor Target or CVS for a $ off total order they will be happy to accept it. It will have to be keyed in by a manager. If the coupon has food lion or target on it and it is $ off a certain item, then that is not accepted by HT. That is the policy. If you have any more questions you can call 800-432-6111 option 3.

        • Bholmes75

my HT will not take a CVS coupon they said they are a pharmacy and not considered a competitor.

    • TheChapleigh

Kashi TLC bars are on sale, 2 for $7.00. If you have the internet printable $1.oo off 2 boxes, that brings the price per box down to $2.50/box after the super doubles deal. I had 3 coupons, so I stocked up. So hard to find the better quality or organic foods at a more reasonable price. Also noted the Quaker True Delights Rice snacks on sale (2 different size packages & different prices, I think the 7.04 oz bag was 3.19 and I had an IP coupon for $1.oo off 2).

      • TheChapleigh

Just saw a Q on the kashi site, under the bars section, for $1.50 off two, bringing the cost down to $2.00/box. HTH!

    • Brandy W

Can anyone tell me where to look to find the entire list of participating products for the Kellogs catalina deal?

    • Brandy W

Also, what is the “$27 Available at Target booklet”….is it at the store for pickup or what? I would love to get one!

    • JL

Catalinna math gives me aheadache. Is it worth it?????

      • Bholmes75

        haha had enough too

    • Razlmz

I am so excited! I just spent $3.54 oop on $71 worth of groceries!! Yeah Harris Teeter!

    • Squirrel123

My HT is cleaned out (Wake Forest). Any idea if the HT will restock their shelves and when?

      • nellie

I'm in Delaware but they told me Saturday or Sunday…..lets hope!!!

    • Kcmerg

Thank you Harris Teeter you make it possible for me to be a SAHM of 3, keep them well fed and the cupboards full. And thank you southern savers for helping make it so easy!!!

    • Kristen B

Both Harris Teeter's in Huntersville, NC have been cleaned out of a lot of items! Fortunately, this is only day 2 of my shopping (yesterday and today I reached my 20 coupon limit), so I will be going back tomorrow…maybe to a different one. No Listerine, Kotex, G-U-M toothbrushes, Ragu sauce, Whiskas cat food, Hartz cat treats, etc…

      • Carrie_C

Be sure to get rainchecks on everything that's out. They don't expire and sooner or later there will be another coupon that will work just great during another super double or triples.

    • nellie

I went tonight……I spent 56.07……saved $103.12. I love no sales tax in Delaware, by the way! Thanks Jenny!

    • Gamego71

Does anybody shop at the HT is Shelby, NC? I was wondering how strict they are about the couple's that day do not double on top and how wiped out the store is on the good deals. I have to drive about 30 minutes to get there and wonder if it's worth the trip??

      • Mulletavenger20

The computer automatically doubles them as long as they begin with a 5 which most seem to. The store is wiped out of certain items but they get a truck in on Friday nights so shelves should be full Saturday morning but i would get there early if i were you, i think they open at 7am. Only thing they seem to be out of that I have been looking for is the kraft home style macaroni and cheese and Wholly Guacamole but like I said i'm hoping they will have more tomorrow. Oh and Campbell's Healthy Harvest is 4 for 5 dollars at the HT and there is a $1 off coupon for one printable makes it free!

        • Gamego71

Thank you so much. I went tonight and couldn't find the Kraft homestyle either. Do you know if it would be with all the other Mac'n cheese or in the freezer section? I looked everywhere and didn't even see an empty space for it. I saw the wholly guacamole but I didn't get any. I'm going back in the morning to get more. Thanks for the info about the Campbell's.

          • Mulletavenger20

Its in the dry foods section beside or above the regular Mac and Cheese its not a big spot for them thats why they are going so fast.

    • amber

      Hi Jenny,
What is the Catalina? and where do I get the book of Target coupons?

      • Denisebowman66

Catalinas are the coupons that you recieve at the register when you check out. They print out on register reciept paper. Sometimes the clerk will forget to give them to me , so always look and ask.

    • Carlene

Does anyone know if there are any Trop50 q's available and if so, where ? The Trop50 is included in the Tropicana Juice sale.

    • heather

I love me some Harris Teeter!!

    • Sam

Got a friday evic special (yours will vary!) for oscar mayer 1lb lunchmeat (limit 2) for 3.99, with a 1.00 printable that doubled, thats a great deal. Also got the twix ice cream bars as an evic special for 2.99 (limit 5), and there was a 1.00 off two coupon for those that doubled. Yo plus was 99 cents (limit) on evic, of course that was free. There were 55 cent coupons attached to some of those.

Check your emails to see if you had any of these. I had to google the $1 printable for the oscar mayer.

    • SpringMorning

There is a .50 Wasa coupon on Facebook. The more 'Likes' Wasa gets, the more it increases the value. Wasa is BOGO for 3.00 now at HT.

      • Cindyrella

The HT in Hendersonville has $1/1 Tearpads right on the display. Didn't give overage, but it was free!

Can anyone tell me if you can roll a catalina deal? For instance, if I use my $10 cat that I received for the kellogg deal to do that deal again, will it print another one or is it like RR at Wags? Thanks

      • tarheelbaby1

WOW!!! This has been a super week for me I am fortunate to have 3 Harris Teeters within 15 minutes of my house. 90 coupons so far and have spent 44.00. I have even free groceries to 3 different homes so far. Makes you feel good. I have 7 people now giving me sunday papers. They know how much I am saving and free items and still do not use coupons. YAY for me.

      • Hutchinson83

Are you able to use your VIC card at two different Harris teeters within the same day and still get doubles on your coupons? I went to two different HTs in one day and the second HT I went to wouldn't double my coupons. I didnt understand it, and top it off the cashier and people behind me in line were furious. I was so embarrassed. Then I went over to the customer service desk and they told that they cant double coupons to make them free and they didnt even know that it was doubles week. They kept telling me that they only double 99 cent coupons, even after I showed them the ad the paper in their store that said they double coupons that are 1.98. The two customer service ladies and the cashier thought that meant that they only double $0.99 coupons. It was the weirdest thing. I wish i just left the store and took my coupons with me cause I didnt get any of the free items and everyone was acting like I was the crazy cat lady, plus I spent way too much money.

        • Angeleyes103064

you can only use 20 coupons per day PER household and yes you do get items FREE when they double I dont know what HT you went to but I would call the cusotmer service number at the bottom of your receipt and let them know of the problem so they can fix it

    • Sam

How do you receive the Target Booklet for coupons?

    • Cnebrich

Does anyone know if the Kellogg's catalina deal if still running?

BUT,…. still wondering if I can use the b1 diaper get1 wipe free q at HT?

        • TheChapleigh

        • Krista

I did- used a $3 off Q first and free wipes next. It DOES require a manager override because it's a free Q for over $3 but it's legit.

    • hlitt

Can you go to 2 different HT and use the 20 coupons at each in the same day? Or does the VIC card know when you've used the limit for the day? Thanks!

    • mommyof3innc

The vic card knows when you have used your 20q's..

      • hlitt

        thank you!

Just and FYI, Harris Teeter in the University City area of Charlotte, NC will not accept the PDF version of the coupon :-(

    • Michele B.

I noticed that Harris Teeter sells Method Laundry detergent. Does anyone have an opinion on whether it works? It is in such a small bottle.

      • Laura

I like it. My daughter has sensitive skin and it doesn't bother her like other detergents. If you follow the washing instructions, you will get the amount of advertised loads out of the bottle. In the case of heavily soiled items extra squirt of method or a tablespoon of borax. It's a great spacesaver, too.

        • Laura

That should say “I might add an extra squirt of method…..” Sorry!

    • NCcouponer

No Del Monte coupon the the N&O..

      • tarheelbaby1

None in the Charlotte Observer either.

      • Krista

I noticed that too and was bummed about it. At least the IP got me a couple.

        • NCcouponer

What's the value on the IP?? Don't want to print unless it's over .75/1…..

          • Krista

Same as newspaper- $1/1 I actually bought 3 with my 2 coupons because since they're B1G1 the coupon rolls to double to the full $2. So I think I paid .50 for 3. Or you can use 2Qs and buy 2 for free.

    • Vspiderlegs

does anyone know if a manufacturer coupon printed from the HT cat machine can be used else where, say CVS or Wags?

    • Karen

Borden cheese 16 slices 1.99 with 1.00 off coupon FREE and you can print as many as you want. I have gotten 20 packs so far, given to several families, Grilled cheeses this week for lots of people. I found the coupon on this site under harris teeter doubles JUNE 2010. Make a last run. ALso if anyone is into canning I used the 1.00 off ball or kerr item on my lids and rings. very cheap. I think .25 for lids. Ready to make pickles.

      • Teaguewoman

        Hi Karen,

        • Danchamom

I haven't been able to find the Borden Cheese Singles. Help!! Where can I find it?

    • Roger

Would anyone be kind enough to forward the Mystic coupon to rlbisanar at gmail.com?

    • Linda

    • Razlmz

Good bye Super doubles….it was great fun while it lasted. haha
