(You are looking for a bar in this exact packaging above, this worked perfectly for me in SC)

Add this in with all the other great deals this week for great savings.

(thanks WildforWags!)

    • Rhonda

This worked nicely in Southern Indiana. Shelf price was $2.69.

      • jennifer murphy

It worked in Mobile, however the price was $2.99, but it's still a GREAT deal!

    • Alicia S.

Didn't work for me. Was in a hurry so didn't pay attention until I got home. Now should I return them and try again or can they tell from my receipt that it didn't print?

      • Bobbie

I always put my receipts and RR's in my billfold and do not mix them with others so I won't use on the same thing. Then when I get home like you I go over everything but when I carry something back they look at me like I'm lying. That's what has gotten me so discusted with Wags. Even when your right there in the store they seem to question everything like not scanning one of their in ad coupons. I would try anyway.

        • jen

Many people act like that, though. Once at CVS, the manager told me that they didn't print bec. I had coupons. Yeah, right.

      • grace

It is not printing for many people so they might redo it for you

    • Diane

Worked beautifully for me in suburban Atlanta. Did the deal twice! Love Neutrogena soap!

    • My darling little Wags girl didn't know about it, but it didn't work when we tried. I'll head back Tuesday, per her suggestion, to try again. Thanks so much for all of your savings tips and hard work!

    • Tiffany

It worked here in Middle Tn but they were 3.29. Although, the only kind they had were the kind for acne so maybe that's why they were a little more expensive.

      • Susan

It worked in Cumming, GA. The store only sold individual fragrance free bars ($2.69) and individual acne ones ($2.99). They only had 2 of the fragrance free ones, so I mixed and matched an acne one, and it worked perfectly.

      • Christina

Ditto. I shopped the Memorial location in Murfreesboro and they had all the free items in stock, but only 3 soaps at $3.29 each. Still a good deal since I have three teens in the house who can really use this stuff.

    • buddi

Has anyone tried this deal in Florida yet?

      • Discohouse

I live in Florida. I do not see this deal in my weekly flyer for Walgreens. Is it only available in some states?

        • Kristin

I live in Florida (Orlando area.) The deal worked for me this morning.

          • Sophia

How much was the soap per bar? I'm FL too Tampa Bay area should be the same $

            • Kem7874

it is the same i work for walgreens in tampa too cool deal

        • Joy

I'm in FL. Worked for me this morning. There was even a tag on the shelf w/ this product.

    • gina

Don't you mean you will save $1.03?

      • Tiffany

No, this is a moneymaker deal. Buy 3 soaps at 2.99 for a total of 8.97 (plus tax). After you pay, you get a coupon for $10 off your next purchase.

    • Kristy

Ok… I don't have my coupon book in front of me..BUT I was thinking that a couple of weeks ago there was a $3.00 off any Neutrogena coupon in the insert in the Sunday paper. I am still new to this…BUT could you use the coupon on the products and make even more money???

      • Ty

That was the first thing I thought about when I saw this deal… But the Neutrogena coupon from the June All You is for a cosmetic item. You store might let it go, but I don't know that the soap is considered a cosmetic item.

    • Works in TX (Beaumont/Houston). Just got back..bought 3 Fragrance-Free x $2.69 each and $10 RR printed.

    • Walgreens is working soooo hard to become my fav store and this definitely helps.

      • jen

I used to refuse to shop at WAGs, bec. I couldn't keep up with the short shelf life of the RRs. Their offers have been more tempting lately, though, so I find myself gravitating there!

    • Michelle

Worked in Charlotte, NC! Got 6 bars!

    • Valerie

Got this deal but I had $5.00 in RR so it was only $3.55 w/$10.00 back! Awesome deal, since I left yesterday without my coupons I am going back today with them and hope to grab some more!

    • emily

hey guys. my cvs here in louisville accepts competitor pharmacy's coupons – they wouldn't accept 'deals' though would they? like this neutrogena RR walgreens deal? just didn't know if that was possible or if it was just competitor coupons only. im pretty new with couponing so i haven't transcended the cvs bubble yet :)

      • happymom

Cvs ECBs and Walgraeens RRs are exclusive to the stores. A CVS register would not be able to print out ECBs for a deal at Walgreens. Would be nice though…

    • alivias_closet

I couldn't find them in my store. Where are they located?

      • grace

near the other Neutrogena stuff but they are running out real fast

    • Maria

“All month long” means over today??? Sure hope it continues. My teen likes their products. Couldn't find any today. I'm a bit frustrated b/c stores out this morning last store I called said someone lady bought #9 bars! Good grief – kinda greedy…whatcha gonna do with that much soap? Anyway hope sale is through June.

      • she's not greedy

not greedy…she beat you to it. some people like to stock up when things are free so they don't come up short when there's no sale. what she did was smart shopping!

        • michelle

but it's also common courtesy to realize that other people would like the deals as well. It's an understood rule in couponing.

          • Sandra

            • Sandra

sorry sorry, did you stop to consider maybe she had a bunch of kids… or people in the house…or she supports a bunch of people…or she was shopping on behalf of different people…or she was going to donate them…perhaps you should consider why you would jump to such a negative conclusion and then call someone greedy that you don't even know. It might be healthier if you thought about where those feelings come from :)

            • Donna

On the other hand she might have missed other great deals so figured she would take advantage of what they actually did have. Most of the time there are deals I want that are out so I take advantage of what they have in stock when I am there, and as a mom , business owner and house manager( mine) I certainly don't have time to go back on Saturday. Sorry. I will get all I want when I am there.

            • I think the store should just stock more of them. They know we're coming to get it lol

          • Pam

I agree. I once read something to the effect of: Suppose you had a party and invited a number of friends. You prepared special dishes, some of them costly. A few people arrived early and ate two or three servings of the most impressive dishes, leaving little for others who come behind them. Those few people would have ruined the party for you and your other guests. To me, couponers who go over the limits and skirt the rules, again and again, week after week, are like the selfish people at the party. They make the managers, clerks, and fellow shoppers uncomfortable and ruin the fun of the deal for others.

I personally stick to the limits. I probably only do the 'coupon queen' thing 75% of the year, and still have more than enough free toiletry items for my family of four (two teenagers still at home) plus I give stuff away to shut-ins, folks who've lost jobs or had other financial emergencies, send care packages to my son in Afghanistan, etc.

May I suggest that for those who feel that they need multiple deals reagrdless of limits, that they play by the rules…go early in the week and get the their original deal. Then wait until Saturday afternoon to get their multiple deals? Seems to me like the fair and courteous way to do things.

      • judith

Does anyone know if this deal ends today May 31 or runs through June??

      • grace

runs through June according to what I know

        • Maria

Thanks. Maybe I'll still get to enjoy this deal. For the record, I'll just buy three.

    • photographer770

I gotta great deal in WR today I found a coupon for Harris Teether for 1.50 of one I got three but my bars came up to 3.19 OOP was 5.87 and I got 10.00 rewards yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

      • jen

WAIT: How did you get $10 rewards at HT?

    • Katie

I live in GA. After reading the posting I went to the closest Walgreens thinking I could get this great special. After paying for the 3 soaps no rewards printed out. I ask the manager about it and she said that she was not aware of such a deal…what a big dissapointment!! :(

      • grace

Mine did not print out either and when I asked them, they printed me out one. The deal is actually on the shelf but ours says you have to buy 3 items adding to $10.

    • Sarah

In Oak Ridge, TN this deal is actually labeled on the shelf!

    • Sean

Has anybody tried the $1.50 off any neutrogena product coupon from last months Publix Advantage Buy flyer. It was a manufacturer's coupon and doesn't expire until late next month.

      • Sean

Tried it myself. I got the acne soaps for $2.99 each. Used 3 $1.50 coupons. Made it $4.47 and got back $10 RR. Great deal. I have three more coupons so hopefully I can do it again at another store tomorrow. I got the last three at my store. Luckily I pass five more stores on the way home from work.

      • steph_rnld

I used the Advantage Buy Coupons today too without any problems. My Walgreens is great about coupons and my favorite cashier commented that I “really rocked the coupons today” when I was able to get 2 Ecotrin, 6 Neutrogena bars and 6 12 pks of Coke Zeroes for less than $2. I could only find 4 of the Neutrogena coupons but it still made for an awesome deal. That Walgreens was out of the Kotex U but will try again later in the week or go to another one.

    • Jessica

Hey guys here in Gray Ga at Walgreens the soap was listed for 3.96 a bar and was part of the register reward deal so its a little bit more pricer than the other stores, just to let you know !! But I still doubled up on the Lil Drums Coupons ( one Walgreens and manu coupon) and did the same with the Edy's Ice Cream Coupon its on sale for 2/$6 got a dollar off! Also found Pantene items marked down on clearance and used my dollar off coupon!!

    • Sonia

Went to 2 Walgreens and both didn't have any. Nor did they have the Eco aspirin. Guess everyone has shopped the deal already! Going to try tomorrow on lunch break near my work.

    • Jean

I went to Walgreens Sun evening and they were already out of 2 RR items. The manager said they only had 3 in stock! I went Mon at lunchtime, and they were out of Neutragena soaps. So I went to another Walgreen's . I choose the appropriate Neutragena items but the register didn't print me a RR. I talked to the manager, and he had to give me a mail in form to get my RR. Now I have to wait a few weeks to get them…….very frustrating.

      • mrscheapstuff

they should have given u a raincheck. they always give me one & the manager always makes sure i get the RR's or free items that came with it originally.

    • Kristen

It' is on the shelf tag here in Florida where I am and I bought the Fragrence Free for the $2.69 and the Acne bar for 2.99, Both worked for the deals.

    • jennifer r

this deal did for work me too, not advertised anywhere, but it still worked! i am in jacksonville florida area…
question thought, will this end today, the last day of may? or continue in to june?!
      thanks jenny and everyone!

    • Sandra

For all the people its not working for…maybe some stores put it into effect early, like those that post sales the day before…If it doesn't work tomorrow or after THEN there may be a problem.

    • KimberlyN

Looked for it in two stores today … one had empty shelves, one only had one bar. But got my son a pack of the silly bands he wanted, so at least not an entirely failed trip, lol.

    • Shirley

      #1-4 (4 separate transactions)
      Ecotrin … $2.00
      MQ … -$2.00
OOP: Nothing due Get: 2RR (8RR total)

      Buy 3 Neutrogena soaps at $2.69ea … $8.07
      Buy small filler
      Use 4 Ecotrin RRs … -$8.00
OOP: 7cents plus price of filler and tax Get:10RR

      • jen

You can use more than one RR at a time for one transaction? WOW, our store not only limits RRs to one per transaction, but also you have to purchase like 59 cents ABOVE the RR face value (before tax) before they'll take it! I wonder what the difference is…

    • How do you get the RR? do they print with your receipt or do you have to send in for them

      • Ashley

It prints from a catalina machine like the coupons that print at the grocery store sometimes.

    • Fantastic! Our bars here are $2.39. There was no sign and the workers there knew nothing of this, but I tried it and it worked! I bought three at $2.39 and received $10 in RR which I used to pay for my $8.99 ink cartridge refill (on sale this week) and some milk. Thanks!

    • Mal

Did anyone try this deal in Greer or Greenville area?

    • Linda

This is working in Northwest Georgia, although my Walgreens are out of stock. The manager at one of them told me that because of the Memorial Day holiday the trucks are not delivering until tomorrow. They expect to have the sale items (Ecotrin, Walgreens A-Z, etc) in stock on Wed.; however, she said they weren't prepared for the Neutrogena bar soap deal. She's not sure if she can get any or not.

    • Melissa

Deal worked for me today in Asheville area. Yay!

    • Cathy

I tried this in NC and it worked. The ladies behind the counter didn't know about it and were shocked. I asked them to do an experiment and it worked. I did 2 of these deals. I have befriended the lady in cosmetics and she LOVES for me to come and check out with her. No one else in line and we spread it out and she enjoys it as much as I like saving the money. I won't tell you exactly how many transactions I did, but here is the final…$90.38 of merchandise before sales & coupons…$7.02 OOP (I don't count tax ever)…Used several receipts to qualify for $10 in various rebates…PLUS, 2 catalinas printed out for FREE Always Ultra 18 ct. up to $3.50. She was laughing and in such amazement. It was like playing a game. At the end she said, “now count it up, what did you get and what did you spend?” Then, 2 cherries on top. She gave me a sample tube of face sunblock, and allowed me to enter as many times as receipts into their Father's Day gift basket give-away.

“Can I go again, mommy, can I go again?!”

    • TrishB_FL

It actually worked for me in the Florida Panhandle!!! I was so excited, I mixed up my transactions and ended up paying $5 out of pocket instead of using a $5 RR, but I was still very happy! Thank you!

      • Mary-Rivera-James

Hi, I live in S. Florida and they had the soaps for 2.99 still an awesome deal the sosmetics cashier said she had coupons for neutrogena with her and she scanned it for me. I was totally excited maybe you all can ask to see if your cashier mya have some too! Im in the Ft.Lauderdale area. hope this helps!

    • Asmith

Workded in Chester VA and shelf tags hung

    • Brenda

If you have a safeway store and were able to get the may coupon booklet, there is a manf. coupon for $1.50 off ANY neutrogena product!! Use (3) and pay $3.57 + tax and make it a $6.43MM!!!

    • nccouponmomof2

Got the great deal in hope mills nc. I was looking because I saw the acne soaps that were 2.99 and you had to buy 3 and I was trying to make money off the transaction. Luckly I scanned the shelf over from top to bottom and found the orginal soaps for 2.69. I used 6.50 in RR and $2 for the remainer balance. I got back my 10RR and the cashier's eyes almost popped out of her head..she said WOW, how did u do that! So thank you WAGS for paying me $2 to take 3 bars of soap off the shelf! :)

    • Workingmotherof2

I tried getting 2 bar soaps & neutrogena T Gel and it didn't work. But, it does work on just the 3 bars of soap. The Walgreens here didn't know anything about the deal until I checked out and it printed the 10RR off the 3 bars of Neutrogena Face Soap.
      Thank you Southernsavers!!

    • walgreens employee

Every thing that has reg rewards will have a tag and yes it is the whole month. most reg rewards are. Most times if your super nice and not annoying about having more than one transaction we have coupons for these items and will be more than happy to let you have them just be nice if the reward does not print out we can see that it gets fixed….we really have NO control over what prints out.

      • Thanks Walgreens employee! The ones at my store are nothing but nice and I could just hug you guys!

      • binkle

Totally Agree!! I love my Walgreens employees too!! Super nice people!!!

        • cynthia

mine are AWESOME too! ours is going through a remodel and they have been so patient with me and my bargain hunting! Time to call the 1800Walgreens number and do some complimenting…i'm sure we would use it to complain if necessary :)

    • Linda

My store is completely out of Neutrogena soaps and Ecotrin. The manager told me that two people completely cleaned the shelves within ten minutes of restocking. Come on girls, give the rest of us a chance. And I'm not happy with whoever it was that gave the manager a very hard time. She was practically in tears when I came in. Poor thing is a young mother with two small children at home. Her hubby is a police officer who hasn't had a raise in 3 years and with the hiring freeze going on at Walgreens, she has to pick up the slack on the schedule shortage.

    • Tiffany

I found $1.50/1 neutrogena coupons in a couponbook i got from kroger. plan to hit several stores today to use my coupons.

    • Jennifer

Hi ladies. I was in my Walgreens tonight and they were out of the soap, but I saw Neutrogena lip balm, priced about $2.89. Has anyone tried the deal with this? I had my little grumpy monkey baby with me and didn't want to try and have it not work then have to deal with returning them. I'll try later this week and let y'all know! But if anyone has tried this, let us know! It will be great if the lip balm works, too!

      • meg

I saw those too, but the things I”ve read online said skin care or suncare. I'm not sure where the norwegian formula lip and hand stuff falls.

      • cynthia

my wallgreens had 2 bars so i added in the lip balm…no go…returned it all.

      • pawn

Hi! I actually did the same thing yesterday and, no it did not print out RR. I guess lip balm doesn't work. I'm out of $10 RR that I use to purchase the items with. I'm thinking about returning the items.

        • Becky

It could be that the RR didn't print because you used the RR you used from the previous purchase, not because the lip balm doesn't qualify. Usually, the RR don't roll like that, meaning you can't use the RR you earned from a certain product to repeat the same purchase over again and get more RR.

    • Keith

So…I'm new to this extreme couponing thing, and a question hit me tonight. I've bought 20-25 bar soaps from various WAG's over the past few days, and still have 6 $10 RR coupons on my counter. What's to stop me from taking all the remaining bar soaps with all the different receipts, returning them, and keeping the $10RR's (and then even going back later and buying up all the bar soaps again)??? I know this is a sleazy idea, but what can I say…the question came to me. Does WAG's have something in place to stop that?

      • miatd

i am not sure about that but i would say that they would probably be able to tell, or even if they wouldnt …like you said…its not in the best interest to do that….things like that cause stores to start cracking down on us couponers…so i would say to you as a fellow extreme couponer..not to do it—its dishonest…

      • Kepierce21

i work at walgreens and we know when customers return items that had high register rewards. and besides, under walgreens' register reward policy it states that when register reward merchandise is returned, you must surrender your rewards as well. so, i wouldn't try it if i were you, it falls under the term “coupon fraud.”

      • Muralonthewall

wish you wouldn't grab all of them… makes it harder for someone really needing the deal and heads out to the store and YOU bought them all!
This is a share site not a selfish site! Keep your $10. for next few weeks deals.

      • Kem7874

yes they do they will tell you u cant return them and they can do that i work forwalgreens that is fraud they will see that too by the reciept they wont give u the money back

    • mrscheapstuff

i went 2 walgreen last night & tried the $25 worth of gillette & old spice..used my q's & no RR's. manager said that they will not print if im using coupons. he said “You actually have to spend $25 & u didnt because of coupons.” Does anyone know the coupon policy so I can print it? and Corporate's number? Im in SW Florida

      • Couponmomma327

I did that deal 6 times in Florida and only paid $6.50 total because of the coupons in the paper from may and june. The policy is $25 before coupons. You can't have more coupons that items, so buy some small filler items if you have a bunch of coupons. RR's are considered coupons. Also remember that you can't pay for with Proctor and Gamble RR's or you won't get RR's to print out. You can use RR's issued by any other company. The problem is that the stores are not given policies in house. So, none of the managers have a clue what it going on. Each one will tell you something different.

    • cynthia

there is a Sun Protection for Skin Worshippers booklet (got it from cosmetics in Wallgreens) that has a 1.00 coupon on the back for anything Neutogena

    • Reginawardlaw

Went to Wags in SC and they had only one bar:( I did not find the quilted northern bath tissue for 3.99, the cashier told me it rang up 4.29 and also did not find the airwick freshmatic or nuetra air for 50% off.!?! The cashier said they were sales for the previous week. Although I did see the $10 RR ad in front of the neutrogena soap. Weird as it was I believe the deals are out there just at another store maybe.

    • hs4615

I went to Walgreens on 6/9/10 and the Neutrogena deal was taken away! Bummer!

    • I bought a hand cream, acne bar, and lip balm. Either the lip balm or the hand cream were not part of the deal, because no RR printed. The manager was called over, and he told me there was no way he could just print a RR, and he had no idea which items made it print. I asked him to humor me and scan the bar 3 times (there was only 1 left on the shelf–a red colored variety of the picture posted above.) It printed a RR! So, he let me have it and use the items I had already purchased–which had allowed all 3 coupons from 6/13 paper! So I paid about $5 and got a $10 RR!

    • Monic_mia

on 6/16 neutrogena RR did not print for the soap any longer (i had done it the week before same store) cashier said that advertisement changed the pictures of the items that qualify
so in the end i spent my 6 RR from the nivea mens wash into the neutrogena soaps paid $1.xx OOP and no rewards i kept the soaps since the line behind me was long and i try not to hold up the lines or return items that i used coupons or RR for :(
