Thanks for helping me to save enough money on groceries to pay for daycare every week!
Can anyone help me find teh .50/1 Tyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast coupon. It is listed for 10/04 SS but I have searched my insert for 10/4 and I can’t find it. I don’t even see it on the preview. I get the Atlanta Journal (AJC).

      Thanks for the help!

      • Vicki C.

I’ve looked for several coupons in the 10/4 SS in recent weeks and didn’t find them, so I’m wondering if one of the SS flyers was regional (I live in Huntsville, AL). I don’t have the Tyson coupon, either.

      • Jessica

Pretty positive that the Tyson coupon was in an ad that was regional, I do not have it either (I am in VA).

    • Shauna

      – .50/1 Any Tyson Fresh Chicken product SS 10/04

I can’t find this coupon in my folder or in general list or regional lists. Has anyone actually seen it?

      • Christy

I could not find it in mine either.

      • I’ve used mine already. As soon as I get one of those I use it almost immediately.

    • Tanya

I live in the Louisville region. I do not see these meat sales in the online flyer.

      • kelli

I live in southwest virginia and we don’t have the sales either.

      • Jennifer

Me too, but I did find a great deal today on Oscar Meyer Bacon. It’s on sale 2/5, use the .75 cpn that was in today’s paper. When you buy 2 you receive a $2 Catalina. So I paid .75 a package for OM bacon.

      • jennifer

i live in middle tn, supposedly the heart of the midsouth, and no kroger even near is running it. i’m not sure why. the krogers around here often don’t have the some of the sales that southern savers posts, but i think the sales are tighter than one region. in other words, middle tn might have one flyer and then north georgia might have the same one but with some changes. always best to check!

        • Colleen Neel

Mid Tn is not part of the Mid south region but the Louisville region. Our ad is often quite different than the S.Savers one for that reason, esp. in meat and produce. I don’t even check those off anymore but look at our regional ad for those items. Faithfulprovisions.com also will do some Kroger matchups for this area on her site. She lives in mid. Tn too. I still print the list from here, then add to it with our local variations.

    • Margie

Wow! Those are great meat prices! Does anyone have a guide for how long you can freeze meats?

    • Tenessa

sigh…I think my Krogers has changed their ads, we used to have the same ads as you but now we are switching over to a Kroger Marketplace and everything is different….I’m so depressed!

      • Amy

Don’t be depressed. My new Kroger Marketplace has some stuff cheaper than this list…like diapers for 7.99 instead of 8.99!

    • John

I am in what is reffered to as the midsouth area and there is no such meat sale going on. I called several Krogers just to verify this and they all said no. In my area, the sale actually starts on Weds. and ends on Sat. Be careful Southern Savers.

      • Carrie

        southernsavers always gets it right
check out your kroger site in your area
the atl regions ad campaign is always 3 days ahead
this gives you a headstart on your planning and is not a misrepresentation of this site
your region is generally the same as hers
I’m in the delta region and the sales remain consistent on the items involved, but sometimes my prices are different

      • Melissa

I don’t really think that it is reasonable to expect Southern Savers to account for any and all variations Kroger might have across the South.

      • Angela

Good point, John! I’m in Cincinnati, so I use Jenny’s list as a starting point and go from there. But, I guess I’m a Northern Saver!

    • Julie

I noticed Energizer batteries were on sale for the same time the Duracells are on sale. They are $2 each, but there were batteries coupons in the newspaper flyers sometime in Sept for $1 off. Sorry, I can’t remember which week since I didn’t figure out to stop cutting them all out and keeping in a huge folder until the beginning of October. I’m a newbie!

    • CouponNERD

Wow!I’m going to Kroger this week… but I’ll have to make room in my freezer first.

    • Thank you for sharing the deals each week. Though, my sales ads are diferent than yours (I live in Arkansas), it encourages me to see some great deals and look forward to sharing them with others. I appreciate it.

    • Sam

For those who are able to pressure can…chicken cans well and it’s raw packed..no liquid added. Ditto with beef roast.

      • Syndi

I do pressure can and would love to have recipe for chicken and beef roast. If you are willing to share my e-mail is sseldred@bellsouth.net thanks a million

    • Amy

I went to the Kroger in Brentwood, TN this morning and the meat manager said they are not having the 4-day meat sale…he knew nothing about it, but said he got a call this morning asking the same thing. Boo! They did have McCormick spices on sale, $1 each, and while hanging out in the meat dept, found 2 $1 coupons in my stash to use, so it was well worth my trip even if i didn’t get the meat i wanted.

    • Sarah Beth

Can anyone tell me if their zip code has a pineapple coupon on coupons.com If so, can you tell what the zip is? I would appreciate it. My zip had one last week, but not this one.

    • Honey

In my Parade in Knoxville TN there is a $1 off Ore Ida today.

    • Michelle in Martinez

I live in the Augusta, Georgia area, and my Kroger ad says “MEAT MANIA 4 DAY SALE” at the top, Sunday-Wednesday. The prices are also the same as Jenny has listed. HTH

    • JEB

I saw in the toy ad for Kroger that the Fisher Price Little Mommy newborn doll is $4.99. WOW! The cheapest I have ever seen it was $8.

      • April

I bought one of the Little Mommy dolls today for my almost 2 year old. It is $11.99 at Toys R Us right now. I also picked up the Snow White Barbie for $4.99 and a Cinderella figurine with dress up clothes for $4.99. Great prices. No coupons, but still great prices.

    • PMC

I went to the Kroger in Cool Springs (Franklin/Brentwood), TN this morning and they did not know anything about the 37-cent leg quarters. Their best fresh poultry prices were over a dollar a pound. I left Kroger and got the Gold Leaf chicken quarters at $6.98 for a 10-lb. bag (69.8 cents per lb.) at Wal-Mart.

    • Mel

Are you able to stack a store q with a man. q at Kroger?

      • Alison

        yes you can.

    • Jessica

usually our ads are about the same buy mine does not have the meat sale listed :( BOO
instead we have a 4 day sale wed-sat and they have some great things listed in it!
      I am in KY :)

    • Tina

Kroger has some of their Hasbro games B1G1F and there is a coupon in the USA Weekend for B1G1F, making for 2 FREE games!!

      • Jenny

This is actually not quite right. Kroger B1G1 items do not ring up at full price and one for free. So you will get two games for the half price of one.

      • Michelle in Martinez

TFS! I have been wanting to get the scrabble slam card game for my DD, and getting it for free is awesome!

    • Connie

I’m using this for the first time, but I don’t understand on Kroger Ad you have Kellogg’s cereal at 2.69 each then down in red you have $1 off Kellogg’s Apple Jacks or Froot Loops in store dispenser ( makes it .99) Can you tell me how, am I missing something?

      • km

The 1.00 off coupons come from the ‘blinkie’ in-store smart source coupon dispensers…..I got some 2 weeks ago and am going to use them on this ad for the froot loops.

      • I am curious about this as well. Shouldn’t it be $1.69 and not $.99.

    • Angie G

FYI…There is a .50 coupon for Private Selection ice cream in the Kroger My Magazine that I received last week (Friday I think).

    • Colleen

There is a great deal on Sun detergent right now. They are 2/5.00 and at my Kroger they had a blinkie right above them for B2G1. I paired them with 2 $1 off Sun coupons and got 3 for 3.00!

    • Amy

In the Houston Chronicle 11/15 there was a Sister Schubert product coupon $.50/1.

    • Sandy Jackson

can not get campbells cooking soups printables says campaign is over.

    • Angela

I think that the Campbell’s cooking soup $1 off 2 coupon print limit must have been reached. Anyone else unable to print it?

      • Jess

I was also unable to print it but if you go to another of Jenny’s posts “$15 in Campbells printable coupons” there is a $1 off 4.

    • Amy

How much does that make a Butterball turkey per pound? At Target it’s $.88/lb.

    • Jenni

I did my Kroger shopping today in the St. Andrews area. They had Kroger brand chicken mislabeled as Tyson brand chicken. When I asked about it, I was told that they ran out of Tyson chicken. I wasnt quite happy they were misrepresenting their product.I took the flyer to the dreaded WalMart and got the Tyson doing a product match. I did save a ton of money by buying an entire New York Strip from Kroger for $3.99 a pound, which they cut and wrapped to my specifications. I froze most of it.

    • Stephanie

Sweet deal on the ground beef. I paid only .25 for a pound of gb after using the .50 off gb printable at http://www.dinnern20.com/pages/RegPage.html. Note, the coupon states DND but begins with a 5 so it automatically doubled. Limit 1 coupon per person, per visit.

Visit Cargill to play using code: A23568
When it asks for the store your purchased the product from enter the store you plan to use the coupon at. If your store is not listed select “other” option and enter the store. The coupon will be produced with the store specific logo (if it’s on their list) and say that it’s only redeemable there.

      • Amy

    • Hi everyone. I’m new at this whole thing and would like to ask for some advise. i have always clipped coupons out of the weekly paper, but I’m looking to save more at the grocery store. Will Kroger allow you to use more than one coupon on items, specials, B1G1, etc? Do they have a max. on how many coupons that you can use in one visit? Any other advise on how to save would be helpful. Thanks so much and Happy Thanksgiving ya’ll!

      • Amy

I don’t think there is a max you can use in one visit. However, if you have a coupon eligible for double/triple, they most likely will only let you double/triple 3 max of that same coupon per transaction. The #3 varies per store but most Kroger stores I go to allow 3 max. Other advise – don’t clip them until you need them. Label the coupon mag with a date and file it. I buy 5 Sunday papers and do this. I get these for $5 at the $.99 Store.

        * You can only use 1 coupon per item at Kroger, as far as I know, there is no coupon stacking allowed. I don’t think that there is really an opportunity to stack them either. I think that every store coupon that I’ve ever seen has are for store brand items, therefore there wouldn’t be any manufactures coupon to stack with. You can use coupons with $$/$$ coupons though.

        * You can use 2 coupons on a bogo sale because items will ring up half price.

        * I’ve never had a problem with using too many coupons. I’ve had some cashiers not loving the fact that I’ve handed them a pile of 30-40 coupons, but I’ve never had them refuse to let me use them. Usually they’re really excited to see how much money I’ve saved. My store doesn’t enforce a limit on coupons printed from the internet but I’ve read that a lot of people have problems with using internet coupons. I think that the official limit is 2 of each coupon per transaction for printed coupons. I could be wrong though.

        * My store’s ad says “everyday unlimited manufactures double coupons up to 50 cents.” I’ve never reached a limit on the number of coupons that they’ll double. I would assume from my ad that the stores in my area do not have a limit.

I hope that this helps. I find that I really save the most money at Kroger when I shop the mega sales. You can get some really amazing deals when you match up the sales with coupons. Jenny does a really awesome job of matchups for Kroger (and every other store for that matter :)). Just look through, find what you need, and it tells you right where the coupons are.
