A couple weeks ago I got an informative catalina at Kroger that says:
Buy 4 Pillsbury Refrigerated products get a $2 catalina
Buy 5 Pillsbury Refrigerated products get a $3 catalina
Buy 6 Pillsbury Refrigerated products get a $4 catalina
I'm not sure if this works, and I'm not sure if the catalinas will be good towards any products or just more Pillsbury products, but the deal is running thru 2/21 and w/ the Grands being on sale this week you could get some great deals. :) (sorry if something like this was already commented on a previous week's Kroger posts)

      • Marie

I just got back from Kroger and I bought 4 Pillsbury products and got the $2 printout. So, it definitely works! I ended up using it during my trip to Publix right after. :)

        • jhoran

Marie, was this on only selected items, because I noticed the signs were mostly on the cookies. Thanks

      • Ginger

It does work, I did it last week using some rainchecks I had from a while back. Note: Toaster Streudels are not included in the deal.

        • Allison

I received a catalina at Meijer last week when I purchased some crescent rolls, but I purchased 4 packs of grands biscuits at Kroger last night and the Cataline didn't print (or for the Purex). Any way to resolve this now?

    • Jessica

pretty sure Kroger is running a catalina deal on pillsbury crescents and biscuits…

    • ant0288

is the price listed before or after the 30 cents off per item?

      • itismedia

      • Sarah

after. The orginal price was $1.29 (-.30 if you buy 10 participating items)

    • Amy J.

My local Kroger is running a special on the Colgate Total Whitening 4.2 oz for $1.67 if you use your Kroger Plus card. I bought 2 of them last week and used two .50 Q's (doubled), so got them for .67 each (before tax). Not sure if this is only for the Southeast Georgia area or not so for those interested, you may want to check w/ your local Kroger.
I actually found a couple of deals like that last week at Kroger…..advertised in the circular for one price but advertised in the store on a big sign standing near the end of the aisle for a lesser price. Nice surprise anyway :-)
They also had Coke products for the 8pk-12 oz bottles for 3/$11, but another sign at the end of the aisle indicating Buy 3 Get 1 Free.

      • Amy J.

Forgot to mention: according to the in-store signs, these specials are running for 2-3 weeks. Just check w/ your local Kroger to see if they are offering these specials. :-)

    • Anne

I am trying to find a way to contact you, but decided to go this route since I couldn’t locate a CONTACT US button. I was wondering if there is a software that matches up sales to coupons or if you spend hours of your own time matching them up. Why I ask? Your Kroger ad varies from ours in Mississippi and I am interested in doing a “local” match up and wanted insight. Could you e-mail me at acbritt@comcast.net and let me know?
Thanks for all that you do!! I have introduced so many people to your website!!
      It is wonderful!!

    • itismedia

I am excited about the Pillsbury deal! Thanks for the info.
I was out of town last week and rushed to Kroger as soon as I got home last night. I was running around at 8:30 on a Saturday night. Believe it or not, they were only out of one item! The trip was so worth it.

I found a tearpad at Publix yesterday, with coupons for buy oreos, get a pack of cakesters free. That will go well with this sale, especially if the cakesters are also part of the buy 10 event.

      • sbdugger

How about pairing the free Golden Oreo Double Stuff coupons from Facebook (I just got mine in the mail) with the tearpad Q from Publix? Free Oreos and Cakesters!

        • new2qs

Can you use both? I didn't know if you could since they are all man. q's and you're only really buying 2 oreos. Am I wrong? I hope so :-)

        • Barb

          27526 worked. THANK YOU!!!

    • kelli

just curious, what coupon inserts did everyone get today? I only got 1 p&g and 1 rp. no ss. the coupon preview had 2. I went through 6 papers and none of them had an ss in them.

      • Kim

RP, SS, P&G, G (General Mills?)

        • kelli

This is so disappointing. I knew that there had to be coupons missing because the front page of the paper says “Coupon savings of $250” and there's only $146 in the p&g and rp.

Can anyone else who gets the Roanoke Times let me know if they got any ss inserts in the paper today.

          • denielle

i got multiple papers, if you send me a pre-stamped envelope i will send you a couple of what you missed! email me at denielle.c.podraza@gmail.com

            • kelli

I don't know if you got my email (I never got a response) but I wanted to thank you for your generosity. :)

          • concerned mom

complain to your local paper, and let them know that the paper said $250 but what you got did not add up to $250. If they are advertising that much in coupon savings to get you to buy the paper but don't really have it in there, then that is false advertisement:
“False advertising or deceptive advertising is the use of false or misleading statements in advertising. As advertising has the potential to persuade people into commercial transactions that they might otherwise avoid, many governments around the world use regulations to control false, deceptive or misleading advertising. “

            • kelli

I've emailed them a complaint. I haven't heard back yet.

            • jen

kelli, I subscribe to the roanoke times as well…. have you had any luck on getting multiple papers from them? I have asked them numerous times if they would consider a “coupon” special to allow for multiple sunday papers delivered to one place, for a discounted price of a full subscription (if you get x amount of papers – shoot I'd get 10 if I could get a decent price!). I think it would really help incease their revenue and make us couponers happy, but each time I recommend or ask for someone who can make a change, they think I'm nuts. Just thought I'd see if it was something you'd thought about. Good luck with getting your coupons.

          • Bridget

There was a thick SS in the Roanoke Times this week. Side note, my friend subscribes, I buy at Dollar tree and there seemed to be some discrepancy in the coupons a few weeks back. Weird huh?

            • kelli

I get mine at Dollar Tree too. I didn't know that there was a difference. It seems as thought the stacks of papers that went to my Dollar Tree were messed up. I always flip through the paper to make sure that the coupon inserts are actually in there and I usually flip through the inserts to decide how many I want to buy. When I walked in a picked up the paper on Sunday, one of the cashiers are looking at one and told me that there were almost no coupons this week… the one that she was looking at only had the RP in it. I looked through 8-10 papers, 1 had no coupons at all, the others just had the RP and P&G. No SS to be found.

          • Sandy

I get the Roanoke Times and I did get 3 inserts this past Sunday. I also bought 8 more papers at the Dollar Tree and they had the 3 inserts in them too. I always sit in the car and go through all the papers before leaving to make sure they have all the inserts. Great coupons this week!!

            • kelli

I always go through the papers in the store. They're used to me by now. I went through about 10 papers (half of what was left when I got there) and none of them had an ss insert in them. I didn't want to buy then without it but I didn't want to miss out on the rp and p&g…. and I didn't want to pay twice as much elsewhere for it to get the ss insert. I emailed the Roanoke Times about it but haven't heard back.

        • fallenfaery

Ugh! I always miss out on the good papers. I was too lazy to go out to look for a paper and just laid around on sunday :(

      • I have a paper delivered to my home and received the SS, RP and P&G, but also picked up 2 papers at Publix on the way home from church and it only has the SS and P&G…not sure what happened to the RP in both papers.

    • Anonymous

I’m not sure if this is appropriate or not but I just wanted to mention it. Jenny saves us so much money everyweek and I know many of us love to pass on our savings to local foodbanks, friends or family. At church this morning, they mentioned something called Buckets of Hope. These will be sent to Haiti and given to families so they will have food to eat. If you’re interested, the website is http://www.namb.net/site/c.9qKILUOzEpH/b.5768073/k.8D46/Buckets_of_Hope.htm
If you live in the Macon, GA area, the drop-off point will be Ingleside Baptist Church.

Again, if this is inappropriate I apologize and Jenny can remove my comment but I just wanted to let everyone know of another way to help those in Haiti.

Our Harrisonburg, VA Kroger is not doubling any coupons for items in the Mega Sale. Has anyone else experienced this?

      • sbdugger

I did the Mega Sale several times last week and all of my q's doubled.

      • triciaj

When ever my husband does the shopping, he never gets double coupons. I asked customer service and found out it is because he enters the Kroger plus card at the end, after coupons have been applied. So make sure you always give them your kroger card first to save the trouble. They had no problem giving me the cash back for what should have been doubled.

    • donnayarb

At my Kroger in Bonaire, GA the all 9.99 dvds were on sale for 5.99. In addition, several of the titles had free movie tickets to see Dear John in the theaters, which, I believe, is opening soon. This would make the ticket price of the movie only $6 with a free DVD.

    • Frances

For the Pillsbury on sale, is it just the Grands biscuits or are the crescent rolls and sweet rolls also on sale?

      Trying to plan my trip…

      • Tammi

        Just Grands biscuits

    • sherrijohnson

Kroger had pampers wipes on sale for $1.99 for all of the 60 count packs. After todays pampers wipes coupon that made them just $.99 each! Goes very well with all the diapers from Walgreens this week!

    • triciaj

I was excited about the softsoap being on sale for $.88 at my Kroger, but it is the 7.5 oz bottle and the $.35/1 coupon is for 8.5 oz.

    • Allison

Question about B1G1 offers. If the store is offering it B1G1 free, can you use 1 q or 2 q's on the items (i.e. the Smithfield pork tenderloins)?

      • Julie

I bought 2 B1G1 Smithfield pork last week and used 2 coupons – total with tax (TN) was like $7.86.

      • marisha

I went once and they took two coupons for my B1G1 and then went another time and was only allowed to use one coupon for a B1G1. Guess it depends on who's working that night.

    • valerieMc

I got the Kroger “My Magazine” in the mail yesterday. It is a NASCAR theme and the coupons match most of the deals on the buy 10 save $3

    • Sarah

I was so sick last week I missed getting a paper but today when I went to get the AJC double paper it was $3 instead of $2.50. Does anyone else know anything about this? Did they just go up on the price?

      • Kelley

I saw the 3.00 price for the first time today on the AJC double paper. I got lucky because my Walgreens had not changed their computer and I still got it for 2.50 (actually 2.00 RR from last week and 50 oop).

      • zombiemommy

my husband had the same experience at Quik Trip. The price has gone up.
I guess I should NOT have told the circular dept at the AJC the reason I wasn't renewing my Sunday subscription was because i could get double papers w/double coupons cheaper.
I plan to call AJC today because right now (at least as of last week) the Sunday paper was 1.47 delivered. I want to know if I can get 2 subscriptions, then I would save.06 cents and wouldn't have to pick it up at the QT.

      • Sheila

I bought the AJC early edition at Publix on Saturday and paid $2.00 each when usually I pay $1.87 each. I asked Custom Service about the increase and they advised that the price increase went into effect on February 1st.

      • annemarie73

It says $3 on my papers, but they rang up as $2.50. I don't know if it's going up or not.

    • andreac88

Has anyone received a catalina when buying the Purex in this new mega sale? I got a print-out that Purex purchases would earn a catalina from 1/11 – 3/7. Good on 50 oz. Purex. Buy 2, get $4. Buy 3 or more, get $5.00. This would make Purex a moneymaker when you use the .35 coupon.

      • Jessica

Just tried it today… bought 2 bottles of Purex laundry detergent, got a $4 catalina back. Thanks for the heads up on the sweet deal!

        • jhoran

did you buy the 24-32 oz for 2.19, cause andreac88 says the catalina is good on 50 oz purex

          • Alisha

I bought 3 bottles of Purex this morning that was 2.19 and got a $5 catalina. This was in the Atlanta area.

            • jhoran

Thanks a million Alisha. Our sale starts tomorrow and I have a ton of purex coupons!!

      • pwmilhous

Thank you for posting this deal. I did it today. I purchased 3-50 oz bottles of purex (and I didn't find any other size); used 3, 35 cent coupons which doubled. I paid the full $2.49 (couldn't find anything else I needed). Paid 5.03 with tax in Atlanta and received a $5 catalina. That will work in my book!!!

        • Allison

I purchased 2-50 oz bottles of PUrex but DIDN'T get the catalina. Are they regional deals (I'm in Kentucky)? Is there anything I can do if it didn't print out?

          • jhoran

Allison, Try buying the bottle that's on the mega deal for 2.19 and that might work. Its not the 50 oz bottle, but for some reason that's the one that is qualifying for the catalinas.

      • Beth

I bought 2 of the small Purex that were on sale yesterday and got the $4.00 catalina. It was a nice surprise!

        • YOOHOO126

How do you call the catalina company or do you call Kroger directly,,,,went this morning and a catalina printed out on my 3 purex the deal is suppose to be thru 3/7 went back this afternoon and it did not.

          • Allison

Send an email to coupon@catalinamarketing.com and include store name, store address, date, time, and any code by the date and time along with a description of the problem and your contact information. I sent a request Thursday when I didn't get two catalinas on Wednesday evening. I got an email today and then a phone call (b/c I didn't include the code). The rep was able to look at my sale and determine that it triggered the print, but it returned an error code. Said I would be getting my coupons in the mail. Quick response and very friendly!

            • YOOHOO126

Thank you so much for the information.

    • donna

there is a $1 off coupon for annie chun on coupon.com

    • lynnbr

I am in Virginia and just went to Kroger, They did not have this B1G1 advertised in paper or at the store.
Smithfield Fresh Boneless Pork Tenderloin Marinated, 14 oz B1G1
Has anyone else run across that? Or am I overlooking something?
      I am a newbie couponer.

      • The list above is technically for the South East Region of Kroger. You are considered a different region so you are going to find that your meat and produce deals are different. Most everything else will match up correctly except those two departments. Sorry

      • itismedia

I'm in Savannah GA and it was advertised in my ad. Its great too, because last week I had to get a raincheck as they were out. So I can use some of my coupons with this weeks BOGO and use the raincheck in a couple of weeks with more coupons for the BOGO again, It will help to spread out the money over a couple of grocery budgets.Time to rearrange the freezer!

Is anyone else having trouble printing coupons today? I tried to print the Capri Sun coupon and my computer screen appears to be in a revolving loop. It shows the screen with a monitor and a printer with dots going between them like it is trying to communicate. I can print the lists and coupons from coupons.com. I don’t want to back out in case it registers that I have printed the coupons when they did not actually print….

    • Brenda

Is anyone else having trouble printing coupons? I am trying to print the coupon shown above for Capri Sun, but it appears my computer is in a loop. The screen shows the monitor and the printer with dots moving back and forth between them showing they are communicating. I can print coupons from coupons.com, shopping lists and anything else.

    • I love the printable shopping list…it is very helpful. thanks!

Having trouble getting the $1 Windex coupon. Any hints as to how I can find it? Thanks!!

    • waymire

i absolutely love your website. it is by far the most convienent and logical i have seen for couponing. i would really like to use it for kroger, however i am in louisiana and i think we get different ads. does your ad come out on sunday as per the dates above? mine is on weds, but i think we are actually pretty close to the same sales but im a week behind you in ads, if that makes any sense. will compare to last weeks list here and see. thanks again for all your hard work

      • gingerinCA

Like you, my Kroger sale starts on Wednesday. Wen Jenny posts hers on Sunday, ours begins the following Wednesday, so she's a couple days ahead of us. HTH

        • waymire

do the sales seem to match up for you then, if you just wait to catch up?

    • Allison

Just wanted to throw out a suggestion. My husband is a teacher at a local school and brings home the coupon inserts weekly for me. Each school in our area gets as many as they request (his department alone gets 30 copies for the students) and they all contain coupons. Most departments throw their coupons away. Thought I might suggest contacting your local schools if you are comfortable doing that for FREE coupons. I get so many that I am constantly giving them away to everyone – friends family co workers and even random people in the grocery store. The teachers are more than happy to send them to my husband who brings them to me.

The Lebanon, TN Kroger has bags of Private Selection Lettuce on sale for $1.49, OPI nail polish for $2, the generic brand soy milk has a peely for .55/1 GenSoy bar, and the frozen Kroger veggies are still .88. I went without my coupons today (snow run, lol), and paid $20 for $40 worth of stuff!

    • Sandy

I'm new to this, and not quite understanding. Can you use ALL of the red coupons listed below the item, or just one?

      • hjstearns

At Kroger you can use just one. She is just giving you options for all of the available coupons.

    • stockdalelady

Right at the top of the list here, it has Campbell's chunky soup for 1.29 each. Can I use both of these printable coupons on the same 3 cans? Both the $1/3 and $1.50/3 ? Also, I'm so confused as to why ALL of these coupon options are listed. The General mills cereal is on sale, and I have a $1/3 coupon. can I also use the .75/1 printable and $1/2 SS 1/31 on the same 3 boxes?? So confused.

      • sdavisva

No, Jenny just lists out the different places to find the coupons for that particular product. She's not implying that you can use all of those coupons together. Most of the time she will even say if you can stack it (like an ecoupon from Shortcuts with a manufacturer's coupon).

    • Rachel

Our Sevierville TN Kroger is running a four day sale on four items: red seedless grapes are 99c/lb (these freeze great by the way!) I can’t remember the specifics on the other three items, I’m suprised it wasn’t in a circular, just on a sign when you walk in. I believe the four day sale ends Wed or Thurs.Betty Crocker Muffin Mix boxes are 69c after the mega sale and doubled 50c coupon from coupons.comKroger salad dressing is only 60c with the 35c coupon from Kroger My Magazine Daytona editionKroger 39 oz coffee is only 3.49 after $1.20 coupon from Kroger My Magazine Daytona editionThere are several more coupon matchups for this sale from the Kroger My Magazine Daytona edition.I would really recommend reading your Kroger My Magazine Daytona

      • andyshowfan

There is also a cellfire ecoupon for the muffin mix .50/1 that should make it .19 after you “stack” it with the paper coupon you mention

    • kathryn37

fyi…the softsoap coupon for .35 off one is for 8.5 oz. or larger..not for the softsoap 7.5 oz that's on sale for $1.00.

    • Erin

Go to the http://www.savealot.com website to find printable store AND many manufacturer coupons. I just printed a $1 OFF coupon for Country Crock margarine…use this week at Kroger to get a LARGE tub for ONLY $0.69!

    • Allison

Does Kroger have their B1G1 free items at half price or do you actually have to buy two to get the deal?

      • wendylaine

you do not have to buy two

    • snppmommy

Is anyone having trouble with finding the Purex coupon on their website? I can't seem to find it.

    • Patsy, Conyers GA

Please explain to me about “catalinas”. I feel I have been missing out because I do not shop Kroger very often. Thanks

      • Suemh

Catalinas are coupons that print from a little machine when you check out. You receive them for purchasing certain items. Several grocery stores offer them including Kroger, BoLo, Food Lion. In many cases the stores do not advertise what deals are running.

    • wendylaine

i don't know if anyone else is a fan of the low calorie Michelina's frozen dinners. Sometimes they are on sale for a dollar but usually they are about 1.30 i have alot of the coupons for them that came on the inside of them and im waiting for a sale did anyone notice the price at kroger this week

I had my first problem with Kroger today (NC). I was told they will now only take TWO of the same coupons per transaction! What?!! Has anyone else had this issue?

      • amy

Yes, here in Houston a manager told me they were cracking down on the “one coupon per purchase” rule. I haven't yet had a problem though.

      • soma

which kroger did you go to? I went to 2 Durham Krogers and 1 Raleigh Kroger. they wont take any more then two internet coupons at a time.

        • jamie

I was at Kroger in Garner. I usually go one in Cary so I will see what they say about it too.

    • snike

my kroger told me today- they are no longer doubling internet coupons- they used just double automatically- but today they scrutinized every one and prevented them from doubling- just wondering if anyone else has this same problem

      • Allison

I used a mix of internet and regular Q's last night at Kroger and all the ones .50 and under doubled automatically.

    • Mark Elkins

The Columbus Ohio area Krogers stores are having a TRIPLE COUPON event starting today 2/11 thru Sunday 2/14. They will triple coupons up to 50 cents.

      • jen

I got “store coupons” from them as well… I'm wondering if they can be used in conjunction with mfr coupons?

        • cbent27

Probably not. But you can use the ecoupons

    • jhoran

    • xxstitcherxx61

i'm sorry but what is a catalina?

    • xxstitcherxx61

      what is a catalina?

      • Stacey

It is a coupon that comes out of a machine near the reciept printer, after you have made your purchases. Its usually for buy “these products” get “this $$” off your next purchase. Like this week there is one for Pillsbury and Purex!

    • wendylaine

i have a cf and sc Q for the pillsbury savorings for $1off/2 if i buy two will those stack or will only one go through

anyone know if the Daytona Buy 10, get $3 off sales is going on again next week. I haven't been able to make it to Kroger yet this week and I was hoping that maybe I could put it off until Sunday.

      • Patty

Yes the sale is on next week too. I check Kroger.com early saturday morning to see what the next week's ad has. Just click on weekly ads and the next week is on the left.

    • Kathee

The coupons we get in the mail from Kroger, can they be used along with manufacturer coupons, they sent me some great ones to go along with this weeks promotion?

      • kelli

no, you can't stack them because they're all manufactures coupons or coupons for store brand items.

    • maconmom

What is a catalina? I got one for $4 off when I bought some Purex last week. Is it $4 off anything or does it have to be Purex?

      • kelli

it's just a coupon for the next time you shop. I think that they usually say excludes RX and possibly tobacco and alcohol, not sure about that. It's good on pretty much anything in the store.

    • Kate

Has anyone tried the Kleenex Catalina? I hear there was one coming soon.

      • kelli

I think that this is it
        Kleenex Products (60 ct or larger): 2/22/10 – 3/21/10 – Buy any 4 and receive a $1 Catalina; Buy any 5 and receive a $2 Catalina; Buy any 6 and receive a $3 Catalina.

It just depends on your area. It does run Sunday through Saturday in Jenny's area as well as many others.

      • jhoran

Oh, please!!! When Jenny runs the ads for Kroger, she usually states that it depends on which area you are in. Maybe if you had taken the time to read the blogs, you would'nt have this problem. This is a free website and a wonderful one at that, and I don't think you should be demanding that the issue be fixed!!! That said, Kroger ad for Sunday will kick in for you on Wed. and this lull actually gives us time in which to prepare for the weekly sale. So, maybe you might want to chill out before complaining!!
        Yours truly,
        A happy customer

    • dntsmom

The Purex coupon is just a vicious circle. I didn't find a coupon and I wasn't emailed one to my alternate email address.
BTW, be sure the Reynolds Heavy Duty foil scans properly. It counts as a Daytona item for $3 off but scans at $4.49 and the price is never reduced.

      • rgbarron01

in order for the purex coupon to work, you need to disable your pop-up blocker–see if that helps. that was my problem until I figured it out.
