I signed up entered the proper card #'s n have not been given any credit… frustrating

      • MomOf4

If you read the FAQs it says is may take up to 30 days for the credits to appear.

      • SavingStar

Hi – Savings can take between 7-30 days to post, depending upon which store you shop. -Josh

    • Megasurvey

The SavingStar eCoupon thing doesn't work here in Indianapolis. I tried it at CVS last week for Huggies and they had never heard of it. Is that only available in the South?

      • SavingStar

SavingStar works at CVS throughout the country. As long as you registered your CVS card on SavingStar and use it at the store, the savings will post to your SavingStar account within 7-30 days (usually less than 7 days for CVS). Your bill at the store does not change . Thanks, Josh

        • Kristy

Josh- Im still waiting on my savingstar coupon from CVS on huggies and its been atleast a month same with Bi-lo. Wants my next step?

          • SavingStar

Hi Kristy – If it has been more than 30 days, we want to make sure everything is
correct in your account. Please email us at support@savingstar.com with
as much information as you can provide (store, products bought, card
number, date purchased). We'll get to the bottom of what's going on! Thanks, Josh

      • Kristy

it is seperate from CVS.   The money wont come off at the register it will be deposited into your savingstar acount.  Hope that helps.

    • Beth

I used a few savingstar e coupons yesterday but they are still not posted to my account. Does it usually take over 24 hours or is there a problem?

      • SavingStar

Beth – Savings take 7-30 days to post to your account depending upon where you shop. Thanks, Josh

    • SavingStar

Hi – Savings can take between 7-30 days to post, depending upon which store you shop. -Josh

    • LJH

I have used several of the savingstar coupons, and it has been well over a month ago.  I have never received any credit for any of them.  More than frustrating.

      • SavingStar

If it has been more than 30 days, we want to make sure everything is correct in your account. Please email us at support@savingstar.com with as much information as you can provide (store, products bought, card number, date purchased). Thanks, Josh

    • marla

Just wondering they want your store card numbers. Did anyone do this and give your numbers? Thanks,Marla

      • SavingStar

        Hi Marla,

That's how we make our service paperless! All the coupons are linked to your store cards. Our management team came from Upromise where they've been providing savings tied to store cards for over 10 years. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Josh

        • HM1968

I am a little confused on how it works.  THe coupons that are downloaded to your card, are they used like regular coupons in the store…so if I downloaded a $3 coupon for an item for example and I go purchase that item at the designated store, would the $3 be taken off at the register or is the $3 put into the savings star account?

          • SavingStar

Hi – The savings go into your SavingStar account. (the amount you pay at the same does not change). After you accumulate $5 in savings in your account, you can pick your payout from a deposit into your bank account or PayPal account, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Josh

      • Candlequeen81

These are not actual coupons that decrease the amount you pay at the register.  You will get a credit deposited into your savings star account when you buy the product.  Then you can cash in your credits for rewards like gift cards.  There is no way for them to know what you buy if you don't enter your store card numbers.  I did it and have been very pleased.

    • Gatortate

I'm glad “Josh” from Saving Star is here to clarify!  Thanks Josh!  :-)

      • SavingStar

Thanks! Glad to be here! Josh

    • savyredhead

I have used the Saving Star coupon for the Wisk laundry detergent in May.  I just wanted to give a positive here.  My account has been credited for it (bought from Food Lion)

    • Vince5428

My saving star account was new last week and they already posted my $3 from huggies!!!

    • Darla

I like this concept and have added and used several offers.  None have credited to my account yet although it has not been 30 days so I will wait.

Any idea why it takes so long for them to post the credits into an account?  It will be difficult to keep up with what has been used and what hasn't.

      • Rlynn103

Mine took about 3 weeks, but I checked the other day, and I had 10.00 in my account!

        • Darla

$10.00 is awesome!  I figured there was a reason for such a lengthy posting time.  With today's technology, I've been spoiled by the “instant gratification” you get with paper and eCoupons :)  I hope mine credits soon.  I can't remember if I have used the Hidden Valley Ranch offer or not.  I purchased the product but can't remember if I got it at Publix (who isn't part of Saving Star) or Kroger who is part of it.

          • SavingStar

Hi all – We agree with you that it's frustrating when savings take a while to post. We are working with all of our participating stores to try and increase the speed with which they send us the coupon data. For example, Hannaford will now post savings within a couple days. Thanks, Josh

            • kjmiller

Josh, any progress on having Publix get on board?

            • SavingStar

Hi – We'd love to have Publix, but they have not agreed to participate at this time. We're hopeful they will do so. -Josh

            • Darla

Thank you Josh.  I purchased my items from Ingles in Cartersville, GA.  Hopefully they will start posting as quickly as Hannaford.

            • SavingStar

Hi Darla – Ingles should currently post within 15 days.

      • Rlynn103

I called the customer service number when it hadn't shown yet, and the lady explained that each store may submit the coupon totals at different times. HTH

    • Mrspearson06

There is also one for the Elmers tri-fold display board for $.75 :)

    • Cindy

Love the idea of saving the money until Christmas!

    • sarah

could you tell me if you cut all coupons or just leave them in the inserts until you need them?

      • Anonymous

Hi Sarah – We’re working on this. Stay tuned! If you follow us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/SavingStar), you’ll also be notified – and of course Jenny from Southern Savers will alert you as well.

      • SavingStar

Hi Sarah – SavingStar is all digital (totally paperless) – so there are no inserts and there is no cutting. The coupons are linked to all the store loyalty cards you register on SavingStar and when you use your card, the money is added to your SavingStar account within 7-30 days. You can then pick your payout from a bank deposit or PayPal deposit, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Josh

        • Cgreen7574

Do you load on Winn-dixie and cvs cards?

          • SavingStar

Yep! We work with both CVS and Winn-Dixie.

    • Amy

To Josh with SavingStar, is there any way to request an email alert when new coupons become available?  Thanks!

      • SavingStar

Hi Amy, We're working on this. Stay tuned!

        • Amy

Thanks Josh!  I will .. I've been very pleased with the program so far.

    • Rebecca

If you bought the stuff a few days ago, and then sign up for SavingStar, will you get the credit?

      • SavingStar

Hi Rebecca, It might work, but I can't guarantee it. It depends when the store sends us your purchase data. -Josh

        • Elina Ivon

Josh….I purchased several items at CVS last Sunday and a couple have already posted but the huggies and the All detergent have not posted even though they were in the same transaction with the friskies and the GUM products that have posted.  Am I going to not see those transactions post?

          • SavingStar

Elina – Thanks for letting me know. It sounds like something is wrong. Please email us at support@savingstar.com with as much detail as you can provide so our customer service team can research it (date you purchased the items if you remember it, your card number, and which exact products you bought). We'll help figure out what's going on. Thanks, Josh

    • Jennb2005

For those of you with a coupon notebook make a tab for savingsstar. You can a print a list of current coupons from the savingstar website. Put that in your binder and then when you buy the product put the receipt with the list. (ie staples or folder pocket, etc) This is what helps me remeber what I have used.

    • WoW finally one that work in my area of the country.  Thanks for the heads up.

    • Thale

The first time I redeemed coupons with Savingstar from CVS they posted very quickly, however the 2nd and 3rd times have not came through yet and it has almost been 30 days for one of them.  I think this is a great service (if it actually ends up working for me) :)

      • SavingStar

Hi – We recently discovered an error with some of the CVS data and are working with them to reprocess the data from the previous months. We hope to have this done shortly, although I don't have the exact date just yet. I do apologize for the delay, but we'll get this sorted out as soon as we can. Thanks, Josh

    • Angdavis1968

How long does it take for Kroger to send coupons in ? It has been about a month or over.I would buy more but I'm  waiting to see if this program actually works.

      • SavingStar

Hi – Kroger takes 30 to post the savings. Rest assured that if you bought a product for which you activated a coupon, you will get your savings. Thanks, Josh
