If you buy 100 rolls of bath tissue at once it has to be a good deal, right? Often the best deals aren’t at warehouse stores, but are actually at drugstores. Stop by CVS next week to get Tide & Charmin for $4 each.
That makes it 12¢ per load for laundry detergent and $.007 per sq. ft. for bath tissue.
The deal runs 9/20-9/26. You can see the full weekly ad here.

Want to quickly see all the top deals this week? Here’s a list of the items I gave an “acorn” in all the major grocery store ads. An acorn means it is a crazy good price for that item, and is given an acorn in the main lists so you won’t miss these deals amongst the long list of other deals.
Remember that every item on the list is a good deal (I don’t type out the entire ads only items that are on sale at a good price). Acorn deals are just the best of the best.

This week I needed to make up for not getting a lot of groceries over the past few weeks. Publix has a great ad, so I decided we would head there. We got over $255 worth of groceries and paid $85 for it before mobile app coupons!
Now, if you don’t know me, I’m not one of the crazy couponers that have a goal of paying nothing and leaving with food that you can’t eat. My goal is to shop once a week at the store with best deals and to leave with everything we need. So my trips will never total $1 at the grocery store. My goal is to be under $50 for our budget so I’m a bit over this week, but after 3 weeks of no big grocery trips we needed a number of things. Thankfully most of what we needed was also on sale!
Publix Totals:
Total Value Purchased: $255.84
Total Spent: $85.14
Total Saved: $170.70 or 68%
Mobile App Earnings: $7
After the app coupons, that brings our total spent for the week to $78.14.
Heads up: many of you have asked to have a way to keep apps/rebates separate in the savings tracker. Come next week you’ll be able to do that! We should make the update early in the week next week.
How did you do this week? Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.
