Every year at Christmas we have a few extra Christmas cards, or I’ve found a deal on cards that aren’t personalized. This year we’re going to try sending them to other folks who may enjoy the cards.
Troops:
Local Red Cross organizations gather Christmas Cards to send to the troops. Check with your Red Cross to see if they’re participating and how you can help.
Senior Center:
Check with your local senior center and see if they will let you pass out Christmas cards. Sign the extra Christmas cards and deliver them yourself, or ask the center if they’ll distribute them.
Shelters:
Women’s or homeless shelters are another place great to donate. Sign the cards with your name or even a prayer.
St. Jude’s:
St Jude’s uses old cards sent in and children make “Thank You” cards from the recycled ones and they are sold. The money goes to the children who made the cars for their work.

Local Schools
Local schools can use old cards for craft or cutting projects. You can tear off the part with signatures or writing and send the front cover greeting.

Did you know that every area and paper get different coupons?
This is one of the biggest things that can frustrate couponers… we all want the great coupon and only a few select areas got it. Each week volunteers send in their insert lists so to show exactly what came in your area. I take these and put them into the coupon database. In turn you can then have shopping lists that only show the coupons in your area!! Take a look at this week’s coupon insert variations from 11/16.
