Here are all the deals and coupons at Rite Aid starting on 2/19. It’s a fairly decent week with a few free + profit items for the first time in a while.
I did get more info about the 24 hour delayed +UP rumor. There is a test market in Seattle, Richmond and Salt Lake City where +UPs are being loaded to the Wellness card automatically (nice), and then can’t be redeemed until 6 am the next day (not so nice). See more info on the Rite Aid Facebook Page. Outside of these areas you should find business as usual, but I wonder if this is the direction that Rite Aid is headed.
If you find extra deals, leave a note below. For coupons to add or remove, use the report button at the bottom of the post.

Axe has new styling products out called Hold + Touch. They come in 3 variations based on men’s hair types; Sparkling Glue for normal hair, Cream Wax for thick hair, and Paste for thin hair. It’s supposed to style men’s hair without being sticky, flaky, or crunchy like a lot of other styling products.
If you want to try out Axe Hold + Touch for yourself, you can earn a coupon! All you have to do is play their interactive Style Stronghold game to earn a coupon when you’re done playing. I must admit, I don’t think I was exactly a champion at the game, but you’ll still get the coupon no matter how well or poorly you play. You can even Tweet about your game score and compete with your friends!
The Giveaway:
Axe is bringing you two giveaways for a total of $600 in Walmart gift cards (feel free to enter both)!
To Enter:
- For your chance to win a $500 Walmart gift card, head over and play the Style Stronghold game. Then tweet about it using the hashtag, #AxeSouthernSavers. I’ll pick a winner from all the twitter posts!
- If you don’t have a Twitter or you don’t want to try your hand at the game, don’t worry! Enter to a $100 Walmart gift card to a Southern Savers reader who answers the following question in a comment below:
When’s a time you really needed your hair to look good?
Lord & Taylor is having a huge clearance sale today on women’s outerwear. You can find all kinds of coats for up to 70% off!
I thought they might be too expensive but after poking around I found some great deals including The Calvin Klein Pillow Collar Down Puffer Coat (pictured above) for $50.99.
Heads up, this clearance sale is only running until midnight tonight, 2/16 and the best deals will probably go fast.

If you are in the mood to bake, decorating sets can be really fun! Right now, you can get a Wilton Cupcake Decorating Set on Amazon for $5.66.
This cupcake decorating set is around $9 on other sites, and comes with 12 pieces:
-Star Tips 1M and 22
-Round Tip 12
-Bismarck Tip 230
-8 Disposable Bags
-Instruction Booklet
Better yet, if you are an Amazon Prime member, get FREE shipping on your purchase.
According to my cake baking friend, the 1M tip is what you need to create the classic cupcake swirl by piping the icing from the edges inward. Or, if you start in the center and go outward, you get a rose!

This is one of my favorite times of year, when we switch from leafy greens being the only produce on sale to having lots of colorful & tasty options. Strawberry season is in full effect and lots of other options like squash, tomatoes and celery coming on too.
Mix in some of the staple items you have stocked up on during winter and it shouldn’t be hard to create some fresh, fun meals on the cheap!
