Southern Living is hosting an event where you can visit acclaimed editors and experts for live food demos and learn some new holiday entertaining and fall decorating tips. The Southern Living Taste of Charleston will be held October 8th and 9th at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The two-day festival, open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., will showcase Southern Living editors and experts demonstrating the season’s best recipes, holiday entertaining ideas, and fall decorating tips guaranteed to wow your guests. Visitors will enjoy Low Country cuisine from 40 of Charleston’s top restaurants, live music, dance lessons, interactive games and more.

Unless you feel like going to the same festival two days in a row, there is no need to purchase a ticket for both days. The lineup is exactly the same for Saturday and Sunday. On a personal note, I’m sad that I can’t go so anyone that can go needs to look up my sweet friend Christy who is one of the presenters and give her a hug from me.
