I shared with you last month about a great home school conference, Teach them Diligently, coming March 2012 to Spartanburg SC. This is a regional event lasting 3 days with a ton of amazing speakers (I’m speaking too if that helps) and activities for the entire family.
If you are considering attending now is the time to get your tickets! Now through October 31st your entire family can attend for $25 when you use the code SAVERS during registration.
After October 31st the rate will go up to $40, so take advantage of the discount while you can.

Finding Coupons for Specific Brands
In this week’s video I lay out some of the ways you can save on specific brands!
My last video was on Breaking Brand Loyalties, but I know that some of you have certain products that you have to have. Whether it be certain baby foods (which I can relate to) or dietary restrictions on food due to allergies, illness or maybe just preference, you can still save on those products too!
Checking brands websites, Facebook pages, or even calling them can result in some great coupons or savings programs.
Do you have any creative ways for getting coupons from your favorite brands?
Here are some great items that are under $1 or Free that you can add to your Operation Christmas Child boxes! There aren’t a ton of items this week, but you can still pick up a few things to add.
Also, keep an eye out in the main weekly lists for this gift icon
that I will use next to any item that would work well for an Operation Christmas Child box.

With the new craze for yogurt going on, here’s a coupon you might want to give a try. It is a B1G1 coupon (use zip code 75204) that brings the price of two LaLa Yogurt Smoothies down from 93¢ to 47¢ each at Walmart.
There is an advertisement on the coupon letting you know the stores that carry LaLa drinks, but it is a manufacturer’s coupon that can be redeemed at anywhere
I’m actually not a huge fan of traditional yogurt, but maybe drinking it in smoothie form will work for me!
We love a good high value coupon and when it’s for juice, my kids start smiling too! Get $2 off Minute Maid Juice 10 packs when you share the offer with 3 friends by email, Facebook or Twitter. This should make the juice boxes FREE-$1 with a sale!

If you’d rather not share it, you can still get a $1 off coupon.
In a household of three girls we can never have too many dolls. Most of the dolls we have though are really for my older girls and my 3 year old plays with them since that is the only option.
Recently though Goldberger Toys changed that for us. They sent their new Zip-ity Princess and Sing & Learn doll for us to try out. These are fun dolls just for kids ages 0-4!
They are soft snugly dolls for little ones and then they incorporate learning and skills as your kids grow.
As a parent my favorite part is they are machine washable and they have a lifetime guarantee!!
We were sent two dolls to play with:
The Baby’s first Sing & Learn ABC’s & 123’s doll is perfect for the little one who loves music. When you push the doll’s tummy, she sings her ABC’s and counts from 1-10 to help your child learn letters and numbers through music.
The Zip-ity Princess doll comes with 6 basic learning functions including zip, button, snap, buckle, tie, fasten & reading. This princess helps to teach basic dressing skills, letter and word recognition, motor skills, and develops eye/hand coordination. She also comes dressed in assorted Princess outfits for imaginative fun.
Win A Set of Dolls!
Goldberger Toys is giving away a set of both dolls to 5 Southern Savers readers! That means you’ll receive the Zip-ity Princess and the Sing & Learn ABC’s & 123’s doll.
