I’ve never really done rebates.  Does it go by the original price, or sale price?  If I have a coupon for a free Pantene Shampoo, will I still get credit for the purchase?  Thanks for any info!

I think it goes by sale price.  Usually you will have to cyrcle it on the receipt.  The free one will count toward the purchase.

Most rebates are very picky I know.  If you don’t fill in one thing correct then they won’t send the rebate.  What if it takes more spaces than they provided to fill in the UPC codes? And if I bought 4 soaps do I list it once or 4 times?

      • Anonymous

If you bought multiples of the same item, you would list each one of them. I did a previous rebate with them and I did not have enough spaces so I listed as many as I could and at the bottom wrote see attached and I typed a complete list with all the codes and amounts listed with the total and I had no problem.

Question: I bought two venus razors and used a mfr coupon for them. On the receipt it shows up as:

      Venus   $6.98
      MFR Coupon  $2.00-
      Venus   $6.98

      MFR Coupon  $2.00-

Can I just circle the $6.98 and use that as the value or do I deduct the $2 coupon I used?

      • Anonymous

        Yes. Just circle the $6.98.

Do you have to include the actual upc’s with it or just the upc numbers?

      • Anonymous

I was wondering this same thing and whether you actually had to include the receipt because I don’t see anywhere on the form where it is asking for anything other than the UPCs.  Does anyone have a question for this?

    • Cayacoup

I don’t know if this was mentioned and I just missed it (very likely) but do they have to be bought in one trip or can it be several (like Covergirl lipstick today at CVS plus Ivory soap next week at Target)?

      • Sarah

When they did a similar one last year it was able to do across multiple. It says on the form “receipt(s)” so I think this would work the same way. Your purchases just need to be made in the specified period.

This is a great coincidence.  On September 3rd, I had an event to go to and the day before, I decided that I would buy makeup and end my year-long makeup hiatus.  So, I went to CVS (they had CoverGirl B1G1 50% off, and I had two NatureLuxe coupons – $1 and $3 from a sample that I got through the mail.)  I ended up spending $45.00 instead of $65.00.  Now, I find this rebate and I purchased it just barely in time to qualify.  Yea!

      • Janell84

(Forgot to add that though I still need to buy a $5.00 thing, I know that body washes will be B1G1 Free somewhere before October 31st.)

    • Summer

I bought a CoverGirl Clean foundation and the UPC has only 7 digits – any idea if this will be kicked back?

    • for the rebate, do you have to spend $50 in 1 transaction? or can it be accumulative from different stores?
