Pretzel Crisps Coupon

Like salty and sweet?  Try this recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Pretzel Cookies!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour                           1/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt                                                       1 egg (beaten)

1/4 tsp baking soda                                        1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup butter at room temp                        1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup tightly packed brown sugar           1/2 cup peanut butter chips

1/2 cup pretzel pieces                                    sea salt or coarse sugar (for topping)

Cooking Instructions

Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together in a medium bowl.

In larger bowl, beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.  On low speed, slowly add the beaten egg and vanilla extract; beat to combine.

Add flour mixture and beat until there are no more streaks of flour.  Stir in the chips and pretzels.  Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Roll out balls of dough and sprinkle with sea salt or coarse sugar.  Bake 10-12 minutes.
