Have you found any other deals??

    • Melanieosmond

      Eggo's are 2 for $4.

    • ChrissyKSaves

My Publix in Birmingham, AL also had Mueller pastas on sale B1G1 $1.49 (excludes the ones that are on sale for .99 – Lasagna, Jumbo Shells, etc) If you used the printable coupon for $1/2 they would be .25 a box!

      • Pat

the Muellers q is a straight up printable – what are the rules on that, since the barcode remains the same? Are you only allowed to print and use one? I can't imagine that they would allow endless copies…

        • Byrneslkb

As long as it's not a photocopy you can use as many as you like. I asked first before I shopped yesterday.

      • wendyc33

my publix the lasagne noodles were all gone before i got there, and that was at lunch time. I will have to go back.

    • ChrissyKSaves

Oh, but they did not have Dove chocolates B1G1…I was disappointed.

Also, select packages of Kraft Shredded Mozzerella (on sale for $2) had a peelie for $1 off wyb 8oz. Kraft shredded cheese AND 8oz. Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese (on sale for $1.25). I bought 2 of each, used the $1/2 Kraft Shredded Target coupon, the .50/2 Kraft Philly Target coupon and the two $1 peelies and paid $3 for all 4 cheeses! That's .75 each! Woo woo! ;)

      • The History of Us

I grabbed a few of these peelies as well tonight in Florida

        • Bryarsmom

We hope you purchased the cheese porducts that were attached to those peelies and you didn't just take them for a future deal.

          • wendyc33

omg. really? why not. if she uses that product. please dont school her. your not her mother.

            • Gillyp3864

wendy, perhaps some assistance in language arts is in order :)

            • GaelM

As for peelies – I take a more moderate approach. If you take the peelies for future use, I ask only that it's a peelie you are definitely going to use, because the person picking up that package from which you took it, IS buying that product. The peelies are a manufacture's in-store promotion to get people to try that product. If you KNOW you are going to buy that product with that peelie even if a sale does not come along, fine – take it, and I won't gripe. If you just want to add to your inventory in the event a killer deal comes along…walk away from the peelie! A killer deal would mean there's already another source for a manu Q. Let someone try that product because of the coupon. Let someone else who was going to buy it anyway have a little discount.

My bottom line: If we coupon with an attitude that we are all on the same team, and this is not an individual competition sport, there will be deals for all of us, and the stores will be friendlier to couponers. Make no mistake. They see the ugliness and are NOT impressed, nor are other couponers.

            • mrsmadayar

No she's right. Peelies are for the person that is buying that product right then, not for future purchases. Have you not watched Jenny's video that discusses coupon etiquette?

            • Anitam75

Wrong! Read the peelie. I just spoke with the woman who puts the peelies on at my store and you are allowed to take them as long as you do not damage the boxes. They either say ANY or THIS PRODUCT.

            • ChrissyKSaves

Whoa, I agree with Bryarsmom, peelies are for the purchaser. Yes, it can be tempting to pocket great coupons we see on packages we're not buying, but its wrong. Coupons = money, plain and simple, just look at your receipt and see how much money you get to KEEP in your pocket because of coupons. I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed to hear someone who has been given an awesome resource like Southern Savers have such an aweful, greedy attitude about this.

    • Kerenjs

I got some Sundown Folic acid vitamins and they rang up B1G1 free!

      • Mccrited

If the Sun Down vitamins are B1G1 use the coupon in the Green Flyer to get $6 off when you buy 2 vitamins.

        • Kerenjs

I did! And the manu coupons too!

      • Thehistoryofus.wordpress.com

I wonder if this was a fluke? I just bought some SD Vitamin A tonight and they didn't ring up B1G1

    • Jennifer Blair

The Lipton Cup O Soups are currently 10/$10. There was a coupon in this past Sunday's paper for $.50 which makes them FREE! :-)

      • JennyBmom

        Thanks for the tip!!!!

      • FreedomSpradley1

The coupon in Columbia was -.50/2. Not free but still an ok deal.

      • Jpip111

HOw are the free when the coupon is for .50 cents and they cost a dollar each?

        • Kcmarkham57

Publix will double coupons for .50 or less in most areas.

          • Angela

Publix doubles any coupon for .50 or less?? Should I always ask my cashier when she scans the coupon? I've never known them to double mine?

            • GaelM

They don't double everywhere. If you're in FL, like me, you need to do your own math for coupons .50 and under, because they don't double down here.

    • Chellbrewer

I just started doing publix couponing about 6 weeks ago just wondering will next week be a better week than this week since it is thanksgiving week ?

      • Robin

I have been shopping Publix for about 9 months (since I found Jenny's site and realized that it's not “too expensive for me”). This is a great week for Publix. I wouldn't hold out till next week, but I am not familiar with their Thanksgiving Ad (you can check iheartpublix on Monday to see Wed/Thurs add ahead of time.

      • gardengirl

My ad for Publix is usually from Wed thru Tuesday but because of Thanksgiving next week, my current ad runs Wed to Wed (day before Thanksgiving). You might want to check to see if your ad is running longer than normal to help you decide if you need to 'shop' this ad.

      • Brooke Smith

The publix ad also tends to not change from this week until after a holiday when one is coming.

      • Pat

This is your week to buy Thanksgiving items!

    • Bryarsmom

Muir Glen tomato products are still free/almost so with the Harvest of Savings(Exp. 11/20) and Whole Foods $1. Q's.

also-Think Thin bars are still a steal 2/$3.-use the $1. TThin IP's, along with your Whole Foods .50 centers to make 'em FREE! Strawberry is a good bet :)

Keep an eye out for hang tags around the necks of Gold Peak Tea-this is a premium tea product & worth a try!

Look for a small display of Honest Tea as well-there is a B1G1 tearpad available-good exp. date too. These were recently 10/10.

Still another little tearpad located where you find Laughing Cow cheese wheels-$1. off a pkg. They have been on sale 2/$4. This is excellent cheese-especially the Light version of Swiss-perfect on whole grain low-fat crackers.

      • Patricia

I have mixed feelings about posting the whereabouts of tearpads. One one hand I am thankful for the info, but on the other hand I know that if it is posted, you had better get to Publix a.s.a.p. (I'm talking within a few hours) or the tearpad will be completely pilfered and the coupons will appear on ebay for sale a few days later.

Not sure what the solution is as human nature is what it is. I'm just wondering out loud. I rarely find any coupons left on any of the tearpads in my Publix and I have walked away in exasperation over a lady who camped out in front of a blinkie and wouldn't budge. After she took about 12 coupons and still wasn't moving, I gave up.

        • Jpip111

The same thing happened to me. A lady was pulling, pulling, pulling from the tearpad until she realized I wasn't moving until I had my turn. The rule of thumb I was taught was take 2 and leave the rest for everyone else.

I've given up on drugstores because I have to get a raincheck for everything I want b/c the coupon mongers have taken them all at midnight every Sunday morning.

        • Pat

Maybe that is when you say parton me pig but would you please move!

        • GaelM

I don't even find remnants of tearpads at local stores. I've wondered if they even were put out, but your explanation makes sense. My philosophy is to take a little and leave some for other shoppers. If we share the deals, everyone can benefit. The deals come back around. There's a couponing site and publication that I no longer have membership to, because it seemed like a competition of coupon greed. No one needs to go store to store to clear off shelves of all the ketchup or clear out the warehouse at the military exchange of all the TP that is on sale.

    • Philisana

The last time I tried to find the unadvertised deals at my Publix in Northport, AL there weren't any. Why is this? Are they only at specific locations?

    • Elizabeth

I saw Mahatma rice 1 lb for $0.99. (Normally $1.19) That's FREE after the $0.50 coupons. (I have several as if they come out almost monthly.) If this was in the add, sorry, I didn't see it.

      • Luv2draft

I saw the same thing at mine too. Going back to use up the rest of my q's for free rice!

    • Caritob40

      I have a quick question…does publix take the Q printed from the kiosk from CVS?…I have a $1/2 tropicana…tnx

      • Angela C.

My Publix in Hueytown, AL took it yesterday. I asked at customer service prior to shopping.

      • Krm

        Trussville AL doesn't take them.

    • 1porras

There is a $2/2 on some packs of the Jones sausage. They would not let me use the store coup, but I still got 2 packs for $.49 with the $2/2. Also, totally unrelated, but I was digging around and found a bricks coupon for $1 on a Muir Glen and that makes a lot of the products really cheap if you use with the store coup that expires on Saturday.

      • Thiamaria

would they not let you use it because it's for 12 oz on the PublixQ?

    • Scrap4less

i just wanted to say i started back using coupon in oct and this has been the best 6 weeks for me. my family complained a little in the beginning but by week 4 the pantry was stocked and i am saving so much money. i the publix deals perfectly, but i need to figure out the cvs next . i am trying to perfect one shopping trip at a time. btw i spent $40 today and saved $88 , this was all coupon deals b1g1 and i had a coupon for everything . needless to say i am EXCITED.

    • Sheriecyn

Have been shopping at Publix for 8 weeks now. This was my best week ever, saved $79.68 with store and my coupons. Paid $63.23 for groceries. Had to buy a storage shelf for garage to store all my extra B1G1 Free. I love Publix.

    • Cojo2800

Does your Publix let you use ECB from CVS? I have always been able to use my ECB's at my local publix but today they wouldn't let me use them. The manager on duty said they only except the $5 off $25 purchase!

      • That's what happened to me last week too. I have used ECBs in the past, but normally just use the $5 off type coupons. I tried to use a $3.50 ECB & they told me the same thing.

    • Ginnettelee

You can also get Godiva Coffee all varieties including Holiday Flavors at Selected Stores for $6.99 goes off sale 11/25. There is a $2.00 manufacturers coupon at GodivaCoffee.com

    • Elyn Blackman

I just saw Try Me Free on the Pepperidge Farm frozen rolls at the Rosewood Drive store in Columbia, SC. I know this was on the list a few weeks ago but I didn't find them then. They are back!
