This list seems exceptionally long today. There are lots of $1 or less deals this week. I have pulled the Green Advantage Buy Deals over that are the best deals, and there will be a new Yellow Advantage Buy Flyer that starts on Saturday. I added a few of the top deals from the flyer now and will post the rest of the deals on Thursday.  The most exciting part to this weeks ad – B1G1 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers!

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price **
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less **

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL**

Jenny, you’re spoiling us with these early posts.

      • kelli

this is actually just to ask how to get the FREE items listed under publix….like the nesquick and muir tomato paste??? do you need coupons for them from somewhere cause i can’t find any? and i saw someone the other day with FREE items at publix and wasn’t sure how they were FREE? thanks so much!

        • sara

Since the item is on sale for $99 (at my store they are not, they are $1.09). You print the coupon for $1 off by clicking the “printable” link. You may have to try a couple of different zip codes to find the coupon. Try 35080. So…when you use the $1 off coupon to purchase the $.99 item, it makes it FREE (or in my case $.09).

          • maggie

what do you mean with free items at publix, how can i know which ones are, where did you get those, i just star using coupons and let me tell you i being saving a lot, i just got addictive to this, now i do not buy anything if is not on sale and i have a coupon but i’m not practice on this yet, i have to learn a lot, so any help , advises etc is welcome

    • Amanda

Yeah it up!!!, thanks Jenny for all the hard work!!! You are an inspiration in the coupon world!

Oh, the Contessa Meals – there is a $2.00 off of one product in the Winter Savings Booklet – inside of back page — hope you didn’t cut out the rebate form on the back yet!

I also see another Juicy Juice coupon – manufacturer on Coupons.com It appeared tonight. How nice!

Baby Club also has a coupon for $1.00 off the Publix Premium Ice Cream.

There was also a previous target coupon for $1.00 off one 12 pack of Pepsi products if you printed it out earlier. It expires 12/12.

      • Jenny

        Thanks I added them all!

        • Amanda

check your email…I also sent something you might be interested in publishing.

        • ashley

i dont know your email, but i got an email from free4kids with this offer in it. You go to uddercovers.com and pick out a cover for $32 and then enter the promo code “thankyou” and you only pay shipping thats around $9. I didnt breastfeed so it doesnt help me but it might help someone else

          • Jenni

Ashley, you are surely an angel. I just ordered one! What fabulous savings!

          • Aubrey

In reference to the Udder Covers offer above, it SEEMS like great deal. But when I researched it, I found a potential for fraudulent credit card purchases made after someone buys from this company. Bummer! See: http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f541-wttc-graduates/1649818-udder-cover-scam.html Hope it doesn’t happen to any Southern Savers.

            • Jenny
            • Holly

I ordered one about a year ago and got it quickly and have had no credit card issues. The rumor about it being a credit card scam is in fact false! Enjoy your babies and your cover!

            • Allison

I also ordered one of these a year or two ago. We watch our credit card/bank statements very carefully, and have had no fraudulent activity. :)

            • Aubrey

Thanks for getting to the bottom of it. I stand corrected!

            • cw

Ordered one a few months ago, but then we did cancel our credit card after seeing all of the comments and the fishy statements by the owner of the company. Better safe than sorry.

            • Astrid

I just used Pay Pal- can’t get in trouble with that

Thanks, Ashley! What a great offer – just ordered mine :)

          • Tara

Thanks Ashley!! i just ordered one too…..

            • Thanks! i just ordered one for a girlfriend who is pregnant! This will be a great gift! Awesome savings!!!!

    • Renee

      I appreciate all you do!

      • Todd

Target coupons do not print with windows 7. Therefore I am printing on a old program with a black and white printer. Will stores accept black and white or question you if it is a copied coupon? Thanks

        • Sarah P

I always print my coupons B&W and have never had a problem.

          • Todd

Thanks. I just thought they would have thought I copied it and not been able to use it. Apprecitate it.

        • MarySC

I have also switched to doing all B&W and even use fast print, and I’ve never had a problem. Really saves money on ink.

          • How do you change the setting to print B&W? I have tried everything with my Dell to get it to set the preference to B&W for these coupons but since they go immediately to print and don’t give me the print set-up page I’m not given a chance to select B&W. I’m wasting money on colored ink. YIKES!!!! HELP

            • sara

It should be somewhere under your printing preferences. Maybe under Color settings or finishing if you have tabs for that. It is called didfferent things with different printers. May want to google your printer type and check there on how to do it. You could always try popping out your color cartridge and seeing if it will still print without it in there and only put it in when you want something in color. Some printers will orint without it, some will not.

            • Cori

It depends on your printer. I have a lexmark that uses one cartridge for both color and b&w and it does not have the option to chose black and white.

        • amber

Target upgraded their server today – works with Windows 7 now!!!

          • i tried to print my coupons from target after they upgraded to windows 7 and still would not print. any suggestions

    • Brittany

Im not seeing the New England ground coffee coupon..does anyone know of a zip code I can use that works and makes it show up? Thanks!~

      • 37043 works

        • Brittany

          • Donna R

Yeah! Thanks so much! Can I print more than 1? :-)

    • Donna

There’s also a $2 off coupon on any covergirl in the All Trimmings Booklet. And there are glade coupons in the Family Circle Magazine. Thought someone might be interested.

      • There are no covergirl coupons in my All the Trimmings booklets. Only the Green Adv Buy flyers…

        • Donna S

          Oops sorry, you’re right.

    • Elena

I am a single mom as of about a year ago. I was struggling with finances and a friend suggested I take a look at this web site. Last month for about $125, I got enough food for a month or more. I got to cut my food budget in half. I am so grateful for all you do and how you teach us to save…Thanks!

    • steph

Does Baby Club send out different coupons? I don’t have them for ice cream or Enfamil.

      • Jenny

They are targeted to the age of your child so folks that have a kid turning 1 or 2 in the next few months get ice cream and bakery coupons etc.

    • Amy

I went to print some q’s from printcoupon.com and the q’s never printed. It showed that it was printing but never did. So does that mean that I can not print the Muir Glen coupons? I hit stop and went back to the site and now they are not there??? Is there a one print limit and b/c it did not print I am out of luck?

      • You can usually print them two times. If your printer messes up you lose out. :( I hate that! However, you should still have one print left- go to the end of the list of coupons, it usually moves them to the last page if you’ve printed them once. HTH!

        • Donna S

And make sure your printer is the default printer.

        • Keren

Also, if your printer stays on but you haven’t printed anything in awhile, it sometimes helps to turn it off and turn it back on……

    • Jackie

I went to 3 different Publix and not found the Muir Glen tomato paste. Are they in a different place than the other sauces?

      • Muir Glen is usually found in the special organic section, in my Publix, it’s a separate section across from the other sauces on the same aisle. HTH

        • sara

In my store they are with tho other tomato pastes but on the very bottom and only a small section.

          • evie

At the two Midtown Atlanta Publix they have never had Muir Glen tomato paste. I always look but I’ve never seen it. They also don’t carry the paste at Whole Foods either – all other Muir Glen, just not the paste.

            • ashley

at my publix (jax fl) the paste is above the speg. sauces. i kept looking over where the regular sauce was and had no luck so i turned around where the speg. sauce was and it was 2 shelves up from it.

            • Chrissy

I live in midtown Atlanta as well. Try the Publix near the intersection of Collier Road and Howell Mill – it is a much bigger store, and I know they have it there.

Atlantic Station’s Publix is great when I need a quick in-an-out item, but I do the bulk of my coupon shopping at the Collier Road Publix. They are extremely friendly (with or without coupons) and are very quick to get you checked out, packed up, and back into your car – all without being pushy. Back in September when we had all of the flooding rains, they positioned a bagger at the door at all times with extra umbrellas to escort people back to their cars without getting too wet. Now THAT’S what I call customer service! Shopping’s always a pleasure when I go there.

      • Nette

Not sure where you are, but the Publix in Mauldin, SC has them in the organic section… it’s the last aisle on the left side across from the organic dairy products. The tomanto sauce is awesome and free or cheap as well! :)

        • Nette

The tomato sauce is pretty good, too! LOL (typo)

      • Krischa Pilcher

Mine is located in the organic section near the produce!

      • jennyM

The Muir Glen sauces at my store are in the organic section. Hopefully you’ll find them, they are very small but priced at .89 here so you’ll make a little money.

      • Melissa

The first time I went looking for this item no luck then I found the organic section which is all the way on the other side of the store near the produce section. No where near the reg. sauces. Hope you find it!!!

    • Jackie

Can I use the Target coupons at Publix?

      • LD

It depends on your store . Ask at the service desk .

    • Sarah

Check with your local Publix before you try to use coupons from other stores. I was told by the manager of the Goodletsville location that the home office of Publix has instructed stores only to take competitors coupons from grocery stores in their immediate vicinity. For example, the Goodletsville store will only take competitor coupons from Kroger and H.G. Hills. The manager told me this is a company wide policy now, so check first. Otherwise you may be disappointed like I was when I came in loaded with Target coupons!

      • There are quite a few stores in Nashville that take Target q’s. I drive the extra 15 minutes to shop at one. It’s worth it. :) Cool Springs, belle Meade, Maryland Farms and (I think?) Concord locations all take Target q’s. I think Franklin stopped taking them and Nippers Corners does not take them. I don’t know about Hendersonville, Spring Hill or Smyrna though I think I’ve heard that Spring Hill and Smyrna will take them

        • Sarah

Those stores probably take Target coupons because there are Super Target stores in close proximity to them. They are considered competitors in their immediate area. I have to drive an hour to get to Publix as it is, so I want to make very sure they will take my coupons. Hendersonville isn’t that much further than Gooodlettsville. Is it a larger store? Goodlettsville is fairly small. I contacted their corporate office and they have no intention of putting in a store in my area any time soon. I wish they would!

        • Melissa

Smyrna Publix will take Kroger, Food Lion, and Target coupons.

        • Melissa

I also shop at the Goodlettsville Publix. I was told at the service desk that they will take Kroger and Food Lion coupons. She did not say anything about HG Hills. I have not any problem with the Food Lion coupons.

    • JEB

I went to Publix tonight for the 12/2 sale items…Was the Yoplait Kids yogurt on sale or the Gogurt? I did not see a sign up, but saw the Trix yogurt pictured in the ad. I got a raincheck, but just wondering what the sale was for…was wanting the Gogurt or Dora yogurt…I know it is a new sale now…

      • Ours was Trix only. I needed drinkable or GoGurt (I freeze the tubes~my 2 y/o thinks they are popsicles!). :o(

        • JEB

We do the same thing and call it yogurt popsicle! She loves it!

          • Jenny

It has the same name at our house!

      • sara

At my store it was the Tirx and the Dora ones…not the tubes or the GoGurt.

      • weslie

        dora ones for us

    • Arminda

Just wanted to let you know that there’s a Publix coupon for Contessa dinners that’s $2 off 1. I believe it came in winter savings? I have 2 of them. Just thought you guys would like to know. =)

      • Melissa

I am new at all of this coupon findings. I am addicted and loving it. I keep seeing everyone talk about the winter savings coupon books but I have no idea how or where to find this. Please adivse me.

        • Publix puts out booklet in there stores with coupons in it. The Winter family savings is a booklet.

    • sara

I noticed this week that the Pelham, Al Publix had a store special on the new Steam and Mash potatoes that are advertised on tv for $2 and some change and there is a $1 off coupon online I believe for $1 off. Not sure how long this lasts, but you may want to check those at your local Publix. I am going to try to get some this weekend, so Pelham shoppers, save me some!!!

    • sara

Jenny, I typed in my email addy wrong on that last comment.

I noticed this week that the Pelham, Al Publix had a store special on the new Steam and Mash potatoes that are advertised on tv for $2 and some change and there is a $1 off coupon online I believe for $1 off. • If your store takes Rite Aid q’s, there’s a $1/1 Video Values coupon for Doritos. Who doesn’t love Doritos for a buck a bag??

    • Heather Dixey

Does anyone know if the revlon tool coupons from the walgreens december coupon book will work at publix.
There’s one for $3.00 off Revlon Beauty Tool
      and $1.00 off Revlon implements.
man it would be great if these work:-)

      • If your store accepts Wags as a competitor then they will take these, but be aware the $3/1 one is for a kit not a single item…

      • RMD

Also at my Publix they accept either a competitor store coupon or a publix store coupon. You can’t do Wags & Publix & a manuf Q… Ask at the service desk.

      • weslie

I’ve used the $1 off one at my publix. :)

      • Melissa

My Wags Q says “3 off Revlon Beauty Tool” not “kit”. So at my publix I’ve been able to use the 3/1 stacked w/ the 2.50/1(Publix Q found in the Green ADV. Booklet).($5.50 value) I’ve been snagging this deal all week for my daughter who has asked for nail and toe supplies for Christmas. Free w/ overages to go towards other stuff.

    • Alison

Where do I get the “winter savings” booklet mentioned? I have not seen it with the other coupons at entrance of the store. Also, my Publix is accepting less competitor coupons as well. They said this policy started in December.

      • JHC

Alison – I had a hard time finding this too. Finally I just went to the customer service desk. The lady had them behind the counter. At my location they do not set them out, you have to ask.

        Hope this helps!

    • Sarah S.

The fresh express salad blend coupon is .55/2.

      • John

It says “.55/2” before you print but it prints a .55/1 (for me at least)

        • Jenny

That’s what it was for me too. I like good surprises!

          • nickiegirl

The computer only let me print one Fresh Express coupon, so I can’t really get the suggested deal. :^(

    • Sean

The coupon for Purina is for Cat Chow. It won’t work for Purina One. However, there is a mfc listed on thecouponclippers.com that was issued by Meijer that should work.

      • Catherine

I was disappointed to find that same situation! Oh well, I have three, and that will make for a good stockup when the Cat Chow does go on sale.

    • Alicia

There is a McCormick coupon from Sunday, Dec 6. $1 off Extract.

    • Hailey

I know stores have the right to suppress the doubling of coupons but I never had one actually do it. The publix on Kennerly in Irmo, SC is now manually supppressing the doubling of coupons that read “DO NOT Double.”

      • S Lee

I ran into this same issue for the first time last weekend at a Publix in Lawrenceville, GA (Sugarloaf Parkway) — all the Steamers internet coupons say DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE so I’m not sure what will happen when I try to use them this week.

      • Lana

Duncan SC dong the same and also no overage. I have quit shopping there as the Spartanburg store in not doing his.

      • RMD

Ask to speak with a manager, this happened to me at my Publix and when I spoke to a manager about it, they had no idea their cashiers were doing this. He apologized and refunded me my money and said he would let the cashiers know that this was not their policy to suppress the doubling! Since then I have never had a problem.

        • Lana

The Duncan SC store policy is from the managers. The cashiers are very frustrated as the policy has been changing weekly and they never know what isw expected of them. Also it is alot more work and time to check us out. This store is definately NOT coupon friendly and it seems as though they are chasing away the couponers intentionally.

        • Hailey

I also spoke to the store manager. He said they would only do what was listed on the coupon. It’s disappointing but I still love Publix!!!

        • Hilary

Just FYI on the coupon issue:

I don’t know if it’s a store-by-store thing for Publix, but I know that my store (Lexington, SC on hwy 378) specifically tells all cashiers that if the coupon says “do not double”, they have to suppress doubling. (I work there, I see the sign in the breakroom all day long.) I live closer to the Harbison blvd Publix, so I shop there a lot – and the experienced cashiers will suppress doubling if the coupon specifies. (Got a new girl once, and she was too focused on whether I bought the right items or not and forgot about suppressing the doubling.) So, at Publix, I just generally count on not having the coupon doubled if it says “do not double”. (I try to save those for Bi-Lo!)

      • Margie

My beloved Trenholm Plaza Publix supressed doubling for me for the FIRST time this past Friday. :(

I still love Publix, but I was a little sick spending $4 more than I had planned.

    • aimee

i am confused about the SS 12/13…how can we have those coupons if it isnt that date yet. sorry new at all of this.

      • Val

Jenny just post those because it will be in this Sunday’s paper and good for the sale that last thru Tuesday or Wednesday depending on you store. So if you want to wait for the coupon you can buy it on Sunday. I actually like that she does this, so I can wait for the coupon. HTH

      • Laura

She just puts that there so you know that that coupon is coming up in this Sunday’s paper. Hope that helps!!

      • She is just giving us a heads up to be on the lookout for them this weekend so you don’t go and buy them today when a coupon will be coming! Also, if you live in the Atlanta area and get the extra advertising supplement they deliver to non-subscribers on Thursday afternoon, you may get an early coupon if that particular insert is included!

      • Stacy

There are sites out there that list coupons for the upcoming weekend. That coupon is predicted to come out on 12/13.

        **Jenny Here**
I will have the full 12/13 list posted this afternoon. Look for three inserts!

    • Cre

I’m sure this has been asked and answered before but what does the Winter Savings booklet look like and is it an in-store booklet or did it come in the paper? I have the All The Trimmings one but I can’t find the Winter Savings. I’m slowly getting into Publix so I haven’t been checking these store lists long!

      • sara

Most stores seem to be out of them by now. But your best option is to ask at customer service. They usually keep them behind the counter or in a drawer if they have any.

      • Esmelda

It has a light blue cover. Our Publix stores here in Gainesville, FL have been out of them for weeks already. But we were at St Pete’s beach last week and there were loads of them at that Publix. I don’t know if they just put them out later or if nobody cares to take them over here. ‘Just to let you know that there might still be some around.

      • Lisa

My Publix doesn’t have a lot of the booklets that are always listed. I actually emailed Publix to see if there was a way to get them. They sent a bunch of coupons to me (which was nice!) but I still don’t have the booklets.

    • Joyce

The Benefiber Powder sticks are 2/$7. Store coupons say $3/2 and there are $2 manf. on any benefiber product. Use 1 store and 2 manuf. coupons and get 2 boxes for free.

    • Joyce

If your store accepts rite aid coup, there is $1 off the Doritos after you watch the video.Final cost is 99cents for one.

    • LizC

Does anyone shop in the Evans/Martinez/Augusta area and have a store they prefer? I’ve had trouble in the Evans store (not the new one) and the Augusta store. Are there any in this area that are happy to see coupon people and welcome us? The one I usually shop in Evans, (because it is closest to our home) the managers just look sick when I bring in a handful of coupons. They hover and make sure I’m not stealing anything. I had a REALLY bad experience once that ended with me almost in tears (pregnant hormones) and my husband very frustrated. I emailed corporate, but it didn’t seem to fix it. I tried the one in Augusta (by the Rite Aid and McDonalds) and the girl I got tried to argue that the coupon for the gourmet pretzels couldn’t be combined with a Publix coupon because “it cannot be combined with any other offer”. She was very unhappy with all my coupons and just kept sighing, “I’ll just try it… if it will scan, whatever.” Maybe this was just the particular cashier that I got?

I didn’t mean to turn it into a gripe post, but I’m just looking for some good experiences in our area. Does anyone have any? Do any of the stores here have friendly managers/cashiers? Thanks, LizC

      • Laura

try the one on washington rd across from kroger they are very coupon friendly they might limit you when the fisher nuts were bogo i had 12 coupons and they only let me use 6 im guessing cuz it was “too” much overage even though i had items to cover it but like i said they are friendly

      • Brooke

I like to shop at the Evans Publix or Furys Ferry Rd. When I began couponing I talked to the manager about which coupons they accepted and competitors coupons accepted. I usually shop in the mornings when it is not as crowded and if there is a problem I tell them that I have already talked with a manager and he said my coupons were good. Sometimes the cashiers just don’t know the rules. I usually save about 50% off of my order. It helps if you get to know some of the employees and then just go to the cashiers you are familiar with (I know the ones to avoid!) Good Luck!

        • j.hayes

It sounds like the store has had a bad experience with someone using coupons. However, that store is close to you. I would also suggest visiting the store when it is not busy. Talk with the manager to get a feel of his preference regarding coupons. Use on a small amount of coupon(while shopping at the other recommended store for you weekly items). It may take a while to build that store faith into coupons again. However, Publix wants you to use the coupon that why that provide store coupons. Remember,it is also about a deal and while obtaining a deal you also have a chance to educate others about the positve effects of making a saving a dollar, even the manager.

    • Peggy Jo

If your Publix takes Rite Aid q they have $1 off Doritos if you watch the video which means you can get them for 99 cents.

    • weslie

There is a $1 off any doritos 10 oz or larger rite aid coupon in their AdPerks Video offers: http://my.adperk.com/offer/d30b50da#ly

    • sara

I registered for the Fast Fixins coupon….IT PRINTED 5 OF THEM AT ONE TIME!!! WOO HOO

      • Carla

I got 6! That was a nice treat!!

        • Shannon

where are you going on the site to get the coupon..i cant find it at all?

    • Kimberly

How do you get the Kraft Food & Family Magazine. I went to their website and registered but all I get is newsletters. Does the magazine cost anything?

    • Peggy Jo

Anyone have the zipcode for Muir Glen Tomato Paste?

      • sara

        Try 35080

I need one for the Wishbone Dressing.

        • sara

Nevermind. I found it on the lsit that shows up after you print a coupon. That is handy.

      • Kayla

29651 worked for me (for the tomato paste).

    • Peggy Jo

Rite Aid had $1 off any doritos 10 oz or larger if you watched the video.

    • Kayla

Anyone know the zip for the Free busy bone product when you buy chewnola?? Thanks

      • meg

        I got it with 30114

    • I live to get the heads up before going out the door, one problem, when I printed the cream cheese ofer of $1.00 off I got a retailer coupon for Publix NOT the manufacturer’s coupon. Very disapointed. My Publix is an hours drive away in another state and only go there if going that way anyway.

      • DeeDee

Those Q’s came from Cookingwith Kraft.com and that is a Kraft foods?Publix page. So they will all say use only at Publix.

    • Amy

I just returned from Publix, hoping to score the Hot Wheels for .99 (using a $1 off Q and getting them free) as suggested in Jenny’s post. My store (Charleston) had the Hot Wheels at regular price at $3 something. I could not find the sales price in the flyer. Any ideas? Thanks!

      • Jana

At my Publix in AL, they were towards the end of the cookie aisle. It is not a sale item, but you do have to make sure that you are buying the 99 cent hot wheels (everyday price) instead of the color changers or special edition ones that are more expensive. They were all kind of mixed in together.

      • marina

my store had several different types (ie: “classic”, “garage”)some of them ring up as regular price and the only ones that were ringing up at $1 are the regular ones (blue packaging). There was no sale tag but they still rang up as 10 for 10. Hope that helps.

      • jennifer

i couldn’t find the hot wheels at all in the park west store. never find any coupon books there either. oh well…it is certainly better than the daniel island store any day!

      • Angel in Charleston

Did not see $1 Hot Wheels at the Trolley Road store, but did find them in Goose Creek . The cashier didn’t want to accept the coupon at first, but when I emphasized the wording to her ($1 OFF ANY TOY LESS THAN $19.99) she ran it through no problem.

      • scqponmom

These cars are throughout the store. There was a display near an end cap with cars for $3.99 in one area and there was another display (near the bread aisle in my store) with the cars 10/$10 and a few others. Keep looking or ask someone for help.

        • Hot Wheels in the Spring Hill store were tucked in the end of a random aisle, none were close to $1 regular price and there were no sales ads. I’ll look again tomorrow.

    • Dawn

I can’t seem to find the Juicy Juice on coupons.com. Any zips that worked for anyone?

      • marina

        try 30188

        • thanks, but didn’t find it

          • Melanie

I couldn’t find it either…so I typed in “juicy juice coupon” in google and the first listing was for the manuf. site and there was a $1/2 coupon to print – all you have to do is sign up for the site and then print out the coupon!

    • Allison

I have a question about the Kraft Mac ‘n Cheese that’s B1G1. I’m in FL, and when I buy B1G1 items, one rings up at full price, and the second rings up as full price, and then that amount is automatically deducted from the 2nd item, so it is free. So if I buy 4 and use the B3G1 free coupon, I’m thinking that I would be buying 2 @ $1.09 each, 2 @ $0.00 each, and then once I use the coupon it would take off $1.09, which would mean I’m basically buying one and getting 3 free. Is this right, or does it not work this way?

      • Rhonda

I’m in Florida and your correct!

    • Jen

Thank you! This site has made me so frugal and I love it. I tell everyone around about it.

    • Krista

There was a $1/1 McCormick Extract or food color in either RP or SS from this past Sunday, 12/6. That goes great with BOGO at Publix!

      • Pamela

I wished I had that coupon wasn’t in my coupons this past sunday paper.

    • Carol L

Is there any way to put a Micro to select all items to print. I have to go through and select everything and print, so I don’t miss anything. I just would make it easier if there was one button I could click to select everthing.

Thankyou for all your hard work.

I have also been thinking of making this suggestion.

        • kayla

Wen I want to print the whole list, I just highlight what I want then on the print screen – check ‘print selection.’ Then it will print only the list and not the comments and everything else.

      Hi Everyone!

I noticed that Jenny posted one of the matchups with a military coupon above. For those of you who are military families, a new blog, Reaping Your Harvest has been posting the Publix BOGOs along with other great deals for the past few months. The addy is http://www.reapingyourharvest.wordpress.com. Hope it helps!

    • Kelly

      OK parents of babies:

I got the Babies-R-Us sales card yesterday and it had a $5 off Dreft laundry detergent. There is a $2 off Dreft in the green winter Publix sales flier. (I even have a manuf. $2 off Dreft) Just to let anyone know that is on the Babies-R-Us mailing list… I can’t wait! WHOO HOO, I found a deal all by myself!

    • joan

for the organic valley milk also use the $1.00 off any dairy item (baby club coupon) and it makes $1.50 (when you also use the manf. q.)

    • B

If you have problems with the cashiers – you could try self checkout. If you have a coupon that has a bar code, type in the numbers underneath the bar code, excluding the first number. The girl running the self check-out showed me how to do this last week. I use the Publix in Brentwood, TN – Concord Road – never had a problem with anything.

      • Lana

I’ve never seen a self check at a Publix store.

    • I know some of you shop at the Publix on East Piedmont in Marietta, do you have luck with any of the cashiers? Once again I found another not so happy one…

Veronica is the only truly nicest one so far, who seems excited when I come to save.
However there are at least 4 who work almost every day whose smiles disappears, when I tell them I have coupons…And then take an extra 5 minutes examining with great detail my every coupon.
Perhaps there were some cheaters at this store at some point?

Please reply if you could share your favorite coupon friendly cashiers name or nearby Publix’s that you prefer. I am almost considering driving an extra 10 minutes to Shallowford to avoid the hassle.

      • I shop at the Shallowford Rd. every week. My husband goes with me sometimes and we shop on Friday nights. It is slower then and we do have a favorite cashier; his name is Tyrone. He told us that his wife also is a fellow couponer. He is great! A couple of weeks ago we also used an older gentleman (70’s) and he was great and helpful. That night I used 43 coupons. When he finished scanning them he looked at my husband and said, “She did great!” It is so nice when you have a cashier that is friendly and helpful. But, let me say that sometimes during the day I have had a cashier that was not so nice. One time when she saw my coupons she just threw her hands up in the air. Now I don’t go during the day or I make sure I don’t go through her line.

We also shop at the Publix at the corner of Hwy. 92 and Trickum and at the store on Hwy. 92 and Sandy Plains Road. We live in the middle of all three stores but the Shallowford Road store is our favorite. However, we have not had any problems at the other two stores and I have been using coupons since April.

Hope this help and good luck.

        • Thanks, I think that is my problem, going during the day. The old school 9-5’ers cashiers think its too much hassle.

I will try Shallowford and thanks for the tip.

      • We use the Spring Hill Tennessee Publix and customer service is going downhill fast in that store! Over the past month or so the energy is just negative, employees are rude, and cashiers have gone from coupon friendly to coupon paranoid. I’m counting myself lucky if I get out without a hassle. I’m starting to dread going there. I grew up with Publix in Florida and we were so excited when we moved here from East Tennessee and finally had Publix again – it reminds us of home. But if things don’t improve I’m losing my loyalty. Sick of the long lines and negative attitudes! You can’t give good customer service if you intentionally short staff your store to save money! (sorry for the rant, I’m making my weekly list and already dreading the trip)

    • Laura

Anyone willing to share the zip code needed for the Wishbone dressing? I’ve tried a few, including my usual stand-by 90210, but no luck…

Also, is anyone else having problems printing some of the SmartSource coupons? Some print just fine, but others only print the picture of the item, but not the rest of the coupon! I’ve tried to print the Green Giant Fresh Steamers coupons (already got the onesfrom the first link), but all I get is the photo. Now the site is telling me that I’ve printed my allotted coupons. GRRRR…

      • sara

After you have printed a coupon the website will show you a list of other coupons from their partners sometimes…Scroll down to the .50 section and you should see the wishbone there. That link should take you straight to it. That’s how i found mine.

      • sara

Sorry, I meant the .75 off section

      • Phillis

I had this problem a while back and had to reinstall my printer drivers.

    • Christy

Is anyone having trouble printing out the Klondike bar Q’s for this week?? I tried but everytime that I do, it just clicks of the website!!

    • Rachel

I found a $1 off any one McCormick Extract or Food Color in my Red Plum from 12/6 in the Nashville Tennessean. Perfect!

      • Pamela

        I didn’t find it sad!

        • Bonnie in ATL

Did not find it in the Atlanta Jounrnal Constitution – SS or RP. :(

    • Brittany

Hey guys I have a question about the Publix’s in Florida. I just moved here, literally like a week ago from Georgia. Im aware that here you have to buy 2 of the B1G1 free items, but I was wondering since it rings up on my reciept as the full price for both items and deducts the full price from one item to get the sale price, will I still be able to use 2 manufacture coupons (one for each item) for the BOGO’s? I know in Georgia, of course I can, but just wondering if anyone of you guys have had experience/are aware of how it works in Florida? I hope Im able to use 2 coupons!

      • Rhonda

The Publix in Ocala, FL will take a mfg coupon on each item for a BOGO deal. You can also use a competitor coupon (Target, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens, CVS, Winn Dixie. Sav-A-Lot, Mother Earth) on each item.

        • Sarah R.

My friends and I have the best luck in Tally at the following Publix’ locations: Southwood Village, Lafayette Place, Governors Crossing II, and Bradfordville Center. In my experience Bradfordville Center (way the heck up Thomasville RD) is the BEST and they accept coupons from all sorts of random stores.

I shop in town mostly at Southwood and like to choose young cashiers. They don’t question a thing, bless their hearts!

          • Sarah R.

Sorry! This comment was meant to go below with the Tally thread!

          • Elizabeth

I work at gov. crossing II in Tallahassee. We just got word from our manager that we accept ALL coupons as long as they’re for what you bought and not expired. This includes: Bed, Bath and Beyond (including $5 off $20 on the back of the cataloges)and Petsmart/ Pet Supermarket, Fresh Foods, etc. If you have any issues with coupons, ask for Stephen, the Assistant Customer Service Manager. Because of constantly being told to “just take them” a lot of cashiers don’t even look at coupons before scanning them.

Also: anybody know a zip code for the LOL butter coupon?

      • Shari

I live in Tallahassee. Yes, you can use one coupon per item with the B1G1 free. You can also use Publix or competitor coupons stacked with them. I did last night. I had a raincheck for an item, two manufacturer coupons and a CVS coupon on top of that. The cashier had a little trouble keying the last one in but figured it out!

Thanks, Jenny for all your hard work!!

        • Paula

Glad to see another Tallahassee Couponer!I’ve been having some troubles at Vinyard Publix–they scrutinize every Q. Wanting to know if I got enough of the items etc. Grr!

          • Teresa

Wow, I’m in Tallahassee too. I also shop at the Vineyard Publix- maybe we’ll bump into each other with our Southern Savers List!

I have only had one sour coupon experience there so far, which the manager quickly rectified. Generally I try to be careful about the cashier I choose. I usually stick with a handful of cashier’s that I like, even if it means waiting a little longer.

I have also shopped at the Publix on Blair Stone and Park and have never had any trouble there.

            • Donna G

Shari G? is that you? I shop at Lake Ella Publix and never have any problems with q’s. Probably because the cashiers are mostly young thangs.

            • Paula

At Vinyard publix there is a young man who works evenings and he never gives me grief. I usually go Thursday after I get off work at my preschool and try to go to Jyoti or another indian lady that works there. one is usually on the 10 items or less register tho. I have found them to be VERY coupon friendly but not so quick to get the coupon booklets out! I have never gone to the service desk to ask, do you know if they keep them back there?

            • Paula

Oh–if you ever hear of coupon swap meets here I’d love to know. I have a whole pile of things I don’t use!

    • marina

If anyone signed up for the Roostock magazine from Organic Valley awhile back, they have $2/2 Organic valley milk coupons. I just got mine last week.

      • Got mine, too! There actually were two coupons for $2/2 any Organic Valley products. One pictured milk and the other pictured other dairy items – but both read the same. And if I recall, they don’t expire until next fall!

    • Laurie

When I click on the link for the Betty Crocker Muffins, a coupon does not come up for my zip code. If it shows in your list, will you please list your zip code? Thanks! We eat lots & lots of muffins @ our house! :)

      • Dawn

        Try 29681.

      • It’s only for the Fiber One muffin mix, which is never included at the stores where I shop.

    • Rhonda

Below is a link to print coupons $1 off any two Purina cat treats. (This is a Target store coupon-not mfg) Exp 1-30-10

Also, Target.com has coupons $1 off two Purina cat treats (Friskies Party Mix, Whisker Lickin’s, Fancy Feast Appetizers)Exp 1-29-10

Anyone that has the booklets that Publix had during the summer that contained only pet item coupons, there is a Publix store coupon $2 off any one Purina treat(dog or cat) Exp 12-31-09.

    • Krischa Pilcher

The coupon for the Scotties tissue printed out $1/1 for me (zip 30052) if zip applies!

    • MCH

We also have McCormick coupons to go with that Vanilla…don’t remember when or where we got them…but we got em!

    • Susan

Mccormick’s vanilla coupons came out in the most recent Sunday Circular. I most definitely will be stocking up on this one!

    • Lenny

I didn’t see you mention the Pepsi 2L on B1G1

    • Kendra

My husband makes fun of me every time he comes to the grocery store with me (which isn’t often) because I eye-ball the cashiers to try and determine which line I want to go to. I always try to get the younger cashiers (especially male). My husband tells me it’s because I am a cradle robber! I am in my mid 20’s and my husband is older than I am, so I’m not a cradle robber. I just find that the younger cashiers, especially males, aren’t as nit picky with coupons. I always make sure my manufacturer and store coupons are legit, but I usually have issues with competitor coupons. I know every Publix considers a different group their competitors, but this makes things very confusing. I asked customer service and they said they had no idea what was acceptable. The younger cashiers seem to take anything, and I prefer avoiding the hassle… especially with a two year old in the cart and a baby in the belly. Does anyone else find themselves eye-balling the cashiers before checking out???

      • Dana

I not only “Eye-ball” them, but I actually have people who text me to find out which cashiers to use when they are at the store. It’s like: “should I use the older lady with grey ponytail and glasses, or the 40ish blonde?” LOL too funny!

      • Michelle

I think we all have those cashiers that are nicer about coupons than others that we choose to go to. I will wait in a longer line for a nicer cashier. I was asked to switch lines for a shorter line and I told them no thanks.

      • CouponNERD

Oh yes, I eyeball ’em, and have a few favorites! One time I was in my downtown (smaller) Publix and I heard a loud, Southern, HEY THERE! from behind me. I turned around and it was one of the younger male cashiers that I usually go to. :)
I have a favorite in Bi-Lo as well, and I’ll wait in her line any day.

    • Hey Jenny! I have a catalina from Food Lion for the Arnold Soft Family Bread. I think I also have one that printed from Bi-Lo.

    • Mindi

There is a coupon for pomagranates in the back of the Green Wise magazine(front of Publix)

    • Debbie

I lice in Kennesaw, GA and our Publix will no longer take other stores coupons! I am so bummed. I am going back today to talk to the manager.

      • Michelle

Which Kennesaw Publix will not take them?

    • Publix Employee

Thought I make something clear as the information at the top the page, it says you can stack a competitor coupon with a store and manufacturer. This is not correct. You can use ONE competitor OR store coupon AND ONE manuf. coupon per item. thats 2 coupons max per item.

      • Kim

This must vary by store. I’ve heard of some doing it.

        • Kim

          Different Kim :-)

I have a question about stacking.

In the new Yellow Adv flyer, there is a Publix coupon for $4.50 off Glade Lasting Impressions Clean Linen 1 ct

I have several manufacture coupons for a FREE Lasting Impressions found in boxes of the scented oils. Any reason why I can’t stack these two together? It’d be like any other overage, right?

    • lauren

I just went to my publix in Evans, GA this morning and had a problem with the cashier doubling my coupons. They were for the green valley steamers and for the organic yogurt that is on sale. The coupons were online coupons and were for $0.50 each. They said on the top “no doubling”. I have used coupons like this before and they were ALWAYS doubled but not today. The cashier said they weren’t allowed to double a coupon if it stated on the coupon to not double it. I had the store manager come over and she told me the same thing. Today is the first day that I have experienced this. Anyone have any advice?

      • lynn

i live in florida we dont have double coupons but the savings we do get are great… i hvae talked to distri and there coupon policy is to follow what the coupon says they also have to follow the rules … some times i do wonder why it is that publix has the best coupon policy of any store yet we are the most critical of the tiniest things with them these coupons are not an entitlement nor do they owe it to us……we can only use grocery store competitors coupons here that means for us sweet bay win dixies and save alot…wow what a privlagei feel blessed they allow that…………what did we do to earn such a favor or grace from publix that they would do so much for us…..they sure dont owe it to us but yet some continue to behave as if they are entitled and will ruin it for the rest during this holiday season and here after this couponer will be thankful

      • Kristin

Same thing happened to me yesterday! First time ever at my Publix in Mauldin, SC, and I asked the cashier why they were suppressing the coupons and she said because they said “no doubling”. I didn’t have time to visit Customer Service, but I plan to go back and ask and confirm the policy and show them my receipt. If this is the case, I’ll be visiting the Publix in Simpsonville.

        • Michelle H.

My friend shops at the one in Simpsonville and she said they didn’t double either.

        • Lana

Duncan SC store not doubling DND anymore but the Spertanburg store still doubles everything.

          • Teri

I asked at the Pleasantburg store in Greenville and he said a coupon would ONLY be suppressed if the cash register suppressed the coupon.

            • Lana

In Duncan they are doing the supressing manually. Then by the time they adjust your coupons for no overage it takes a very long time to check out.

      • LizC

The one in Augusta next to the Rite Aid and McD’s doubled mine tonight. They seem to be much more friendly than the Evans on Washington Rd. They even took my Save a lot $5/20 even though the Save a lot is not technically in their district. They even let me do more than one green advantage coupon. =o

    • tom

Has anyone having trouble finding Marie Callenders croutons coupon in RP 11/8 or Chung’s egg rolls in SS 10/4.

      • Jarrod

No luck for me, Checked AJC and Athens Banner Herald in Atlanta Area

      • sonja

Nope in central fl. I was bummed.

      • tom, I have searched high and low, spent all morning looking for the Marie callender’s croutons cant find them any where. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME AND TOM! PLEASE!

      • Maria T Owens

I could not find the croutons coupons either in Florida

    • Jennifer Leath

There is a $1.25 off Fast Fixin’ Chicken in the January All You magazine.

    • Hope

I had an idea and I wanted to know if I’m missing something…

If I take my food budget for the next two weeks of $280 and buy 3 AmEx gift cards @ $90 ea. I’ll spend $270 have $10 left in cash and $300 in gift cards. I will have made $30. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t work?

      • Paula

Sounds good but read the info on the amex card as sometimes they have fees.

        • DD

yes AMEX does charge a $5.95 fee if I remember correctly

      • Allison

There is a $5.95 fee per gift card. Also, my cashier didn’t take $10 off the AMEX gift card–she made me get a $10 Publix gift card, so it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting….Only “made” $4.05…sort of

        • j.hayes

I had the same encounter. However, I live in FL and I believe somewhere online you can purchase a gift and only pay off price. It may be a better deal for you.

          • j.hayes

I am sorry. The deal is over. The site orlandohalfoff.mediawebconnect.com have other deals.

    • Lisa Balfour

Where can I get the Green Advantage Buy or yellow adv buy flyers? I am missing out on some great deals!

      • Stephanie B.

The green Advantage Buy flyer will be at the store (either in the turnstyle by the entrance or at the customer service desk). The yellow Advantage Buy flyer will come in the paper this weekend.

    • Jarrod

I’ll start off as always thanking Jenny as always.

My question revolves around printing Coupons from Redplum over the last 2~3 weeks.

I own roughly 4 operational PC’s with Windows XP, Windows XP Pro, Vista Home (32), Vista (64), and a partition of Windows 7.

I do NOT usually print out Multiple prints UNLESS it’s an Item my wife and I REALLY like.

I printed at max in the past 3 sets of 2 (My work Laptop, School Laptop, and Main Desktop)

      – Lately I can’t print more than 2 coupons total, did Redplum change to an IP Address Printing instead of a MAC address?

      – I’ve changed my IP Address and STILL no prints.

      – Is this cheating?(I still do it from Coupons.com and other sources)

      – I assume it’s not because frankly I own all the PC’s, and I pay for the Ink and Paper.

      Thanks for Opinions/Answers!

    • Michele

I went to the http://www.feelthesoleil.com website and was able to print a $2.00 off coupon for the BOGO Schick razors.

      • Liz

I found $3off coupons at Target there were attach to the shaving cream, so I got 2 for .29 sweet deal.

    • Lisa

There’s also a $1.50 off Huggies Q from the baby club that you can stack with a mfr Q as well as the store Q. Makes a great deal!

      • Isn’t the baby club coupon a store coupon? How could you use both? :o)

    • Trying to get started with the coupon thing, I’m learning a lot in the process just having to learn some of the right ways to do it.. thanks a lot Jenny for all of your hard work that you put into this to make it easyer of us new couponer…

    • I found an unadvertised deal at Publix. The Land-O-frost Lunch meat is on sale for $2.98. There is a $1.00/1 coupon inside of the packages with the transformer rebate pictured on the outside. So that makes them $1.98 for a 1 lb package of lunch meat!
You might want to look for it at your store!

    • penny saver

***Knorr sides rice and pasta were b1g1 at publix in mtpleasant,sc.
Does anyone know if there is a coupon out there???

Does anyone shop Palm Bay Fl stores? At the Malabar store I recently was told I could not use coupons if they made money or I got a free item,by a manager, named Jamie.Im really confused as I have been allowed to in the past. What stores in Brevard are more coupon friendly?

      • Judy

I live in Central Brevard and shop at the Rockledge Publix at Barnes & Murrell. They accept Target coupons and any of the grocery stores in Brevard County. I have had no problem using two coupons on BOGO and stacking a Publix coupon if one was available. Depends on the checker as to overages. (How close they check the item price versus the coupon amount). Any time I have asked customer service a question they have been very lenient on the policies. Also have always been very friendly, In Wednesday FL Today, may times there is an Albertson’s coupon for $5 off $50 in their ad plus sometimes some other coupons–never had a problem using them.
My daughter shops the Publix in Merritt Island at 520 and Courtenay.

    • Kevin

There is a coupon at http://www.recessionpayback.com for chef boyardee if you play the game. It’s for -.50/2. I’ve already printed out two of them.
      Thanks for everything!

    • sara

For those of you that shop at a Publix that will accept the $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupons…I have found more! I was beginning to get sad because they are no longer on coupons.com, so I started hunting. I like to break my shopping trips down through the week to get the most savings using these. Plus, this week I can pick up the Tylenol or Benefiber in case I hear that I have to get something from “pharmacy area” like I did last week with a picky cashier.

      Expires 12/19/09

if that does not work, try:

      • Gina

Thanks so much!!!! I wish I would have seen this before I went shopping today but I will use it next week :)

    • keyra

When I print the green giant steamers coupon, It says do not double or triple, that would make it .69. Is anyone else having this problem? That is still a decent price, just wanted to know if I was doing something wrong. Thank you! love your site!!!!!!!!!!!

      • marina

a lot of printable coupons say that. But unless you are in the Florida area (from my understanding they don’t double there), you shouldn’t have a problem. Most publix stores will still double the coupons, at least in my area (woodstock & canton GA)

        • keyra

Thank you!! I will try and see if they dont double.

    • I’m in Lexington SC. Alot of the sargento shredded cheese bags have 1.00 off bertoli pasta sauce (one jar) coupons! Use with the BOGO and makes it 29 cents!!

    • Amanda

Is anyone else having trouble printing from the SmartSource coupon website?

    • jenn

i am fairly new to this and wondering do breakfast items besides cereal go on sale i do have some coupons for frozen waffles and pancakes should i just go ahead and use them or wait on a sale so far i have not seen any of these things on sale?

      • Candi

A month or so ago Publix had their fozen pancakes b1g1…..Maybe they will hurry and do this again. My kids LOVED it!!

    • Natalie

Publix in Tallahassee FL has kraft/craker barrel cheese 2 for $5. There is a $1/2 coupon you linked in the latest Harveys add. We really love the craker barrel brand cheese.

      • Natalie

Should say Harveys ad, not add :)

    • sonja

FYI – my publix (central fl) had S1/1 jar of bertolli pasta sauce stuck to the bags of sergento cheeses that are 3 for $5. hope that helps:)

      • sandy

hey thanks, mine does too, chiken alfredo and spagetti on the way. thanks

      • Michelle

They had them at the downtown greenville SC too.

    • Candi

I went to Publix today to get the nesquik….It wasn’t marked as being on sale. Anyone else having this problem?

      • jenn

not on sale at ours either?

      • Tina

The sale is on the premixed chocolate milk in the refrigerator section beside the milk. First I went to the chocolate syrup, but found the correct item when I asked a manager.

        • Candi

Thanks so much….I’ll go back tomorrow!!! =)

      • Kat

I had the same problem today at my Publix, except the cashier didn’t know anything about the refrigerated stuff being on sale instead. I just opted not to get anything. Now I’m at home & it’s too late…but I’m sure there will be some great deals next week too!

    • I’m not finding a place to print Fast Fixin’s coupons – is it only open to new registrants? I’m already registered (and when I printed out coupons 6 months ago I got 10 30 cents off coupons – 30 cents off an item that costs over $5.please!)

      • Shannon

        i cant either..any suggestions

      • new registrants only – I just registered DH and it went straight to printing 5 coupons!

    • sandy

Thank you so much. Single mom with 2 children and grandbaby, you are such a help with publix. Everytime I go I spend around $15.00 and get at least $50.00 worth. The kids get things they want and normally dont get. Happier household thanks.

    • Mitch

The hot wheel cars are non-existent in Marietta, GA. Ive checked three different stores, none of whom have any idea what this ‘sale’ is nor have the cars on sale lol.

      Please help clarify.

I just tried to use the 2 Infusion manuf q’s and the store bogo. However, the clerk told me that since one infusion is free, she could only take one coupon. I just smiled and said “okay.” However, I am very confused and annoyed. What is Publix’s official policy on this?

I don’t live anywhere near coastal GA or FL.

      • i was hoping to try this deal tomorrow (or today…). my plan is to hand them the $2/1 man. q’s first and then the bogo coupon. hopefully that will work.

      • beth

The same thing happened to me last night, and I did the same, just said ok. It is a shame that we understand more about coupons than the store does. Maybe they are cracking down, because the cashier laid out ALL my coupons on the counter and went through EVERY single one as she scanned the product. I had to argue with her about a few, she said the spiderman gummies were not a Sundown product, until I showed her the package said SUNDOWN, inc! Then she called over another cashier and another bagger, making it a whole production, and I could tell the other customers were very annoyed. That was the most embarrassing experience I’ve had since couponing. I remember reading somewhere that Publix’s coupon policy is to scan the coupon for the face value, but she adjusted a few of mine down. I’m sorry to go on, but it’s so upsetting when they treat us like criminals, especially when I always coupon honestly.

        • Tina

Sorry that this happened to you, too.

I would really like to know the official policy on this. I coupon honestly and don’t like to be treated otherwise.

      • I had no problem at my Publix in Acworth. What I have found is that in a bogo situation if one item rings regular price and the other rings $0 (like at Walgreens) they will only take one coupon. However, at Publix the bogo price is divided between the two items- bogo at $2.00 it rings up $1.oo twice. That’s when you can use two coupons.

Hubby just left Publix in Duncan. Not the best trip ever for him and he is actually kinda upset with me! lol.. oh well that happens all the time. But I digress, Publix in Duncan is saying that their policy has changed and they are no longer allowing overage coupons. Period. She gave him the item for free but would not allow for the item to have overage and carry over.. The tweezers he got for free but not the 60 or 70 cents in overage. The scotch fur catcher thingy was 4.99 and I had a store coupon for 3.00 and a manufacturer coupn for 4.00… She allowed him 4.99 off only. So I guess overage is now over at publix? When did the policy change? I was just there Friday and bought the same things then. oh! and the Green giant valley fresh steamer coupons are being suppressed manually from doubling too.

      • Michelle

At the downtown Greenville store she tried to suppress my coupon on the steamers so I went to a different store and they didn’t suppress the doubling. They gave me overage for the clippers at the downtown store though.

      • Lana

I have shopped at the Duncan store since it opened 15 years ago but no more since they are so anti coupons. The Spartanburg store on the east side is still doubling every thing and still giving overage as far as I know. The manager over there used to be in Duncan and was transferred to Sptbg eastside.

Does anyone know if Publix will accept coupons from a store that is not local to them? I got the paper today and found a $10 off coupon for 2 boxes of Huggies from Babies R Us (an hour away). I was thinking if they allow it, and I stacked coupons I could get a steal of a deal on diapers.

      • Snellmom

Usually they only take a close (distance), direct competitor coupon, so my guess is that they will not take it. You can always ask at Customer Service before getting the diapers. The Publix stores around us don’t take Target q’s unless it is the Publix that is right next to the Target.

      • Melissa

I found that Q in my Toys R Us circulator, I think it is a man q. It has a barcode and the # starts w/ a 5. So if it is a man q cant you use it at publix even though it says B R US/T R US?

        Anyone Khow????????

        • Melissa

      • MrsThomas

If it is a Man Q
        Buy 2 Boxes Huggies 40.00
Use 5.00 Off 20.00 Rite Aide
Use Save 10.00/2 Toys R Us Circulator
        Use 2 3.00 Off Pub Store Q
        Total Spent= $19.00
        Thats 9.50 a box

Plz feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

    • Rhonda

Even though Publix doesn’t double coupons in Florida, I think I’m getting the hang of couponing. I got all this for $16.42
      4 boxes Quaker granola cereal
6 bags Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers
2 bags Fast Fixin Chicken Fries
2 bags Fresh Express salad blends
      2 cartons 59oz Tropicana50
      1 pint grape tomatoes
1 bag 12oz Nestle chocolate chips
      2 bags Doritos
      3 bags Purina Whisker Lickins

      1 Hot Wheels car

    • I know Walgreens gets a bad rap sometimes, but the ladies that work in the Walgreens @ Sandhills in North Columbia ROCK. Not only were they patient with me, but they actuall taught me how to use hteir store coupons PLUS my printed coupons and save a TON!
      Thanks chicks!

My Publix in Easley, SC didn’t have the Celestial Seasonings Tea on sale. I also couldn’t find it in the flyer. Am I missing something?

      Thanks so much!!

Also FYI Cindy in the store is anti-coupon. She made me open the bags to show that I had gotten 2 of products when the coupons called for 2. She checked each item. Couldn’t she just read the register receipt or screen? I think she was just being hard to deal with.

    • Amanda

For the Doritos if you watch the Rita Videos there is $1.00 off coupon that Publixs will take.

Also at the Rita Video there is a $2.00 off Benevia Drink and there is a $5.00 Benevia coupon at Benevia’s website and Publix has a $3.00 off coupon in the Green Advantage Saver. If you use all three of these coupons you are getting $1.51 credit. (Drinks are 8.49 a package)

    • Michelle

Is it just me or does anyone else get anxious (or frustrated) when people in line behind them check their watch and give you mean looks when using coupons?
It was a great trip yesterday, I spent 18.41 and saved 68, which is around 78 percent savings!
      Thanks Jenny!

      • MrsThomas

I keep my eyes on the screen to make sure all my Q’s are going through then I look back at them at the end to see the look on there face when the cashier tells me how much I owe. Just know in your mind you’re doing this for your family.

    • Stephanie

Just got home from publix and had a pretty sucessful trip. Thank you southern savers. I did have a problem finding the tomato paste, Muir Glen Tomato Paste 99¢
Did anyone else find it? Couldn’t even find that brand there?

      • Amber Green

The Muir Glen products are in the Organics aisle.

    • Can anyone tell me a zip code they used for the Juicy Juice? I cannot find that coupon anywhere!

    • Renee

The store in Easley, SC states they don’t accept Food Lion coupons.
There was a match up listed for ground beef..

    • The sargento shredded cheeses are 3 for 5 right now, you can also get a free Publix brand dozen large eggs when you buy two, with coupons you get all three for 2.52, but on select bags of cheese there is a dollar off 1 bertolli pasta sauce. Which is on sale now for 1.87. So you could get two bags of cheese, one dozen eggs and two jars of sauce for a total of $4.26!

      • Chrissy

That’s exactly what my mom and I did this evening. We *love* Publix!

      • sara

I felt like I was in “peelie” land today. It seemed every other box of something had peelies on them…cereals, cold meds, crackers, cheese, pasta sauce, paper products. It must be the time of year or something. Glad to see they were not all ripped off though. I guess the “peelie snatchers” had not made their rounds yet!! lol

    • Jessica

Is there any way to save the shopping list?

      • Maria T Owens

Yes, select adobe as your printer and you will be
able to save it as a pdf. Please let me know if you
        have any problem.

Has anyone been able to print the coupon for the Carefree Pantiliners. I keep getting an error. Thanks!

    • Catherine

A friend of ours recently separated from his wife and set up house. He went to the store on his own and made lots of noises about spending $180 and getting not much. I sat him down at my computer, pointed him to the Publix list and took him around to get “bachelor chow” on the Publix sale this week. Since he eats more prepared and pre-packaged foods than our family does, sharing coupons with him is a breeze.

Just got back from the store and we spent $62.70 and saved $73.12! He was astounded, even when we got a couple things that weren’t on sale (meat and tomato sauce for the Carroll Shelby chili kit, for example). I think I have a new convert, Jenny! :) Thanks for everything, as always.

    • ssh

Jenny, thank you so much for including the Similac formula in your list- I was somehow signed up for one of their programs when I was pregnant and they have been sending me formula checks- I haven’t known what to do with these since I am nursing- but I was able to buy the ready to use formula for very little out of pocket and can donate it- I am more excited about this than even the great grocery deals I got for my family (probably because formula is SO expensive)! :)

    • sara

Had been waiting all week to make my Publix run. Finally went this afternoon. Came home very pleased with my haul. Spent $18 and saved $88 and have plenty of food. Having a Christmas party this weekend that the Egg Rolls will be perfect for!!

    • sara

Meant to mention…Thank you for posting the extra deals that were found around the store. I printed out just those postings and matched up my coupons with them. I have been waiting on the Nature Valley Nut Clusters to go on sale so I could use my coupons!! When I go in with my list I rarely check prices on other items so the extra deal posting was awesome!!

    • Maria T Owens

I am so excited, I save $63.71 and pay only $4.28; 93% Savings

      Thanks Southern Savings!
