Publix Weekly Ad 2/9-2/15 or 2/10-2/16

Tuesday, 2/8

Store Logo

These deals run at Publix from 2/9-2/15 or 2/10-2/16 depending on your area. This is a little bit of a slower week, but any time they run the Amex deal I get excited! There are quite a few things under a $1 and a few new deals that start mid-week with the new Yellow Flyer.

If you see any additional deals or coupons leave a comment and I’ll add them to the list!

I also have quite a few Con Agra coupons from a booklet recently sent, that would pertain to this week’s ad. You may all want to check your binders for some, as they are not listed as available coupons on this list.

  • Cami White

So glad this is up early today. Thank you so much!

  • Jeg77

thanks for all the hard work, Jenny. I had a cashier from Publix tell me she was going to come shopping with me. She wants to follow me around and whatever I buy, she is going to buy. Lol. I had to give Southern Savers all the credit!

    • mandy

I know, I advertise for Southern Savers every time I check out. I have the cashier and customers behind me writing it down so that they can check it out and I don't even do as good as others on here do.

  • Guest

    Jenny you are soooo awesome!

  • Disappointed with the BOGOs this week. Looks like a lot of snacks and super-processed stuff. Oh well, it'll be another nice week off!

Thank you for everything you do, Jenny.

  • Christie

In the 2/6 inserts (can't remember which one) there is a $.50/2 for Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken.

    • Kristina

Found it – it's in the SS – thanks so much!!!!

  • Sun

looks like the old el paso coupon is gone already

    • sharon60

Click on the 50/1 Spanish printable. It works, I got 2.

  • Tiffanyyost

I don't see the coupon for the lunchables on the target website. Is there a specific zipcode I need to put in?

    • Srhine85

It is old so I think you would need to have already printed it.

  • Britti024

Just found an even better coupon for Clorox. Go to their Facebook page and Like them. Then you can print off $1 off any Clorox product coupon. It would make the toilet cleaner $0.67.

  • Syndilew

There is a new Advantage flyer coming out today. I went shopping today and they had the coupons up already but you couldn't get them until today. Just letting everyone know!

  • 75/1 Betty Crocker super moist cake mix or frosting, SS 1/30 In the Greenville SC paper it was AND not OR…

  • wendyc33

if you go to hannaford.com website under the coupons section you can print 1.50/1 new england coffee manf. coupon. It will ask for a zipcode put in 12206, and it will print two of them. It wont have the store name on the coupon. that makes the coffee 3.39 for 2 bags. I love new england coffee.

  • meghanld

Can someone help?? I have a raincheck from one Publix store, but I want to use it at a different Publix store. Has anyone ever tried this?

    • Jpaden25

Yes – you can do it. I did it last week.

    • Curatellafrank

I have and had no problem.Publix likes to please. Frank

    • Mandi

I used mine at a different store without any problems. It was even a different state.

  • Anonymous

if you go to the hannaford.com website in the coupons section for 1.50/1 new england coffee coupon. it will ask for a zip code. just put in 12206, and it will let you print 2. It will not have the store logo on the coupon. it is a manf. coupon. this makes them 3.39 for 2 bags.

  • kelly

There's another .55/1 Vanity Fair napkins etc. in the Feb issue of Southern Living magazine (p. 15)

  • Looking for Target Silk Coupon

Does anyone have the Target Silk coupon? If you will not use it would you please share. I would love to be able to get some, but I do not get their mailings?

  • Fgavent

Can someone walk me through printing the .50 coupon in Spanish on Old El Paso taco shells? I registered but don't see how to print the coupon. What is the word for coupon in Spanish?

    • Look under Ahorros (means save)

  • Kaffy

On the M & M's deal…the Target coupon is $1/3….and I can't figure out how it gets to $1.24 per bag… Am I missing something? I WANT them to be $1.24!!!

    • Lucy

There's a $1.50 off 2 manufacturer's coupon that isn't on the coupon list. Buy 6 packages of M&M's at $2.34 each ($14.04 total). Use three of the $1.50/2 manufacturer's coupons and two of the Target $1/3 coupons.

      $14.04 – $4.50 – $2 = $7.54 for 6 bags ($1.26 per bag)

      • Kaffy

Thanks. I'll look for the $1.50/2.

  • CouponNERD

Thanks, Jenny! This is a pretty good list for me. I appreciate it being up and ready early in the day on Tuesdays. This helps me get ready for my shopping…

  • sharon60

Anybody know how to read Spanish??? I tried to fill out the Old El Paso form in Spanish (took French in school so no clue). I managed to complete the form, but now I am lost. Is the coupon there or not and what should I click on? :) Thx

    • Meghanllacock

I just fumbled through it a few minutes ago by registering, then going back to the first page and filling in my email and password in the middle section. That takes you to a coupon page that will be very familiar!

      • sharon60

        Thanks, I finally got it.

The .50/1 El Paso coupon says “Do Not Double.” :(

    • If it starts with a 5, it will still double regardless of what the coupon says

      • unless you are in Florida

      • mj

Oh really? Are the cashiers supposed to override the automatic doubling then? Can anyone confirm that this is the case?

        • Elizabeth

Depends on the store…some of the Publix stores in SC will allow them to double, but at many of them the cashiers override the automatic doubling.

        • Silent E

Yes, cashiers in the B'ham area do supress the automatic doubling when the coupon says to. I've also seen them supress doubling on all competitors coupons, regardless of what it says . .

          • Claire Bear

what bham store are you shopping at? i’ve never had a cashier supress a coupon from doubling. i shop at lee branch, overton, hwy 150, & hwy 31 (vestavia & hoover).

  • Shay

On the Jello – I didn't see the B3GI coupon on Target & I couldn't find any coupons on the mykraftfoods website – any tips?

    • Xxplumcrazeexx

I couldn't find any coupons on Kraft either.

The B3G1 Target coupon was on the Target site weeks ago – it's no longer available for printing. (The close expiration date is one hint that it's an old coupon that probably won't be found active on the Target website.)

You might want to make a habit of checking the Target website for coupons on Sunday and printing those that you think you might use in the future. The popular ones seem to disappear quickly. Many coupons that you print this week won't expire until 4/15.

  • Xxplumcrazexx

I am having trouble printing coupons today. It keeps telling me my printer is not compatible. I have printed before. It's not the first time. I don't know how to fix it?

    • sharon60

I'm not real technical, but if you are using Chrome, sometimes things won't print. I just cut and paste the link into IE and then it prints. If that's not it, hopefully someone with more knowledge will reply.

  • Meghanllacock

Having trouble with the Deerpark coupon. Liked them on FB, but can't find the coupon now.

  • Tammyla

thanks for having this up early!

  • Em

Is Claritin on sell anywhere this week? Have 2 great coupons for it. Thanks!

    • Melaniewyrick

really? where did you find them? thanks.

  • Gwyn

When I was at my local Publix the manager told me that Publix Corporate Office in Lakeland, Florida has decided not to take Target coupons any more, only coupons from other supermarket. They had their employees sign a paper regarding the change.

    • ally

Go to Target. They will match competitor's ads. Publix took my Target coupons this morning in Orlando. Hope this doesn't happen here. Sorry! :(

    • Tammy

What region are you in? We have a Super Target in our area, so technically, they ARE a grocery store! I hope that don't stop honoring Target Q's. I live in the Orlando area and we are already cheated out of double Q's.

    • Godlymom71

Here in North Tampa they do not accept Target coupons even though Super Target is across the street from Publix. So I would not be suprised if it is so.

    • JenniB

It depends on the area in Florida you live. I live in Fort Myers and my Publix takes Target coupons since it's directly across the street.

    • MelHun

My publix in Central Fl. DOES take target q's!!! It is the only benefit of Publix in FL for me considering they do not double any coupons!

    • Amie

I hope that's not true! That would be devistating! I live in Lakeland FL and my Publix took them today. But they do NOT take Walgreens, tried one store and called another, both said no. BTY my total bill today was $32.70 and total pd after Qs was .20!!!

    • Eae1959

Target actually took a publix coupon today, in Orlando…Was told by another Publix if there isnt a Target close by they wont take target at that store. I am still using Target, Albertsons, Winn Dixie and BJ coupons at Publix in Kissimmee.

  • Dana

If you “like” Clorox on Facebook, you get a $1 off coupon, no size restrictions on any Clorox item. You could use this on the toilet cleaner to make it even less!

    • mj

It's a $1 off an Clorox Disinfecting Product. I was wondering if this would work for the bowl cleaner. Not sure if it's classified as a “disinfectant” product.

      • Lucy

When you print out the coupon you'll see that one of the products pictured is the toilet bowl cleaner so you'll be fine using the coupon on the bowl cleaner. (The products pictured on the coupon are Clorox Clean Up, Clorox Stain Fighter & Color Boost, Clorox Bleach, Clorox Wipes & Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner.)

      • L. Whitt

I would HOPE that a toilet bowl cleaner was a disinfectant! :)

  • Frugal4life

Hey everyone take the time to go down the personal care section at Publix, today I found a bunch of Dove products on clearance body wash $3.95, I used the invisible Q for $1, mens soap bars which you can use the green flyer coupon for $1 of and RP1/30@my store it is$4.55/6. • Frugal4life

The is a coupon booklet Gasparilla with $10 worth of Publix coupons here in the Tampa Bay area, found it at the entrance to the store. Check it out!

  • moneysaved4disney

Publix Preschool Pals has a $1 off publix ice cream

  • moneysaved4disney

I have a 2.50/1 huggies target coupon that I printed previously and saved…check your binders

  • Tnbutton

publix in hendersonville tn and gallatin tn do NOT take target coupons!

    • Mmleininger

It's nice to see another Hendersonville lady on this blog!! I'm glad you passed on this information. I've been too chicken to try Target coupons. Thanks.

    • Micheleatwell

The Publix in Hermitage will take Target coupons.

  • Joynunez24

It really all depends on each store's manager. I live in Ocala, Fl and all Publix's near me take Target as a competitor. And our Target isn't even a super Target. Just call around to your different Publix stores to find out.
Just an FYI- I noticed in the Winn Dixie near me there were Winn Dixie baby item coupons next to the ads. Publix should definately take those since they are a grocery store.

  • Joynunez24

    Not much exciting this week

  • Mrs Hawkins

I think I'll pass on Publix next week…not much going on. I should be able to not even go to the store next week because I did so well this week!!!

    • Goodbadbogo

love weeks like that. Stockpiles have let me be lazy sometimes and I will always love that hehe.

      • Meguardo

I so did not want to make the run to Publix tomorrow so I am jacked it is not a good one too!!! I hope the penny item is a weak one too, LOL!

  • Svenja

There is also a Ride Aid value coupon out for 1/2 Betty Crocker items which makes the cake mix free.:)

    • sharon60

I normally don't use Rite Aid. Is this one of those coupons you have to watch a video to get?

      • Svenja

Yes it is. There is also a coupon for the dixie plates which makes them free too. They are bogo through today.

        • Anonymous

          Great! Thank you!

Just a heads up, the $0.50 coupons for the Fiber One & the Cookie mix say “DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE” so the Publix register doesn't double those. So is there any way to find out before you print the coupon if it's going to say that on them or not? Bc sometimes I print $0.50 coupons(like the reddi whip) and it just says Manu Coupon in the black box so it doubles automatically at Publix. I would just like to know if you can tell before you print them bc the (makes it) prices are as if the coupon was doubled. Just wondering bc some of these items I wouldn't buy if the coupon doesn't double, and then I wouldn't want the coupon, which would save me ink & paper bc I've printed a number of these over the past year. Thanks

    • wendyc33

There is alot of coupons that say that on them. My publix doubles them automatically still. My publix and most others do not go by that on the coupon. I have heard of some stores manually doing that because of that wording. I dont know of any way for you to see what the coupon states before printing them.

    • sharon60

If you go to the Target coupon site, they have both Fiber One and Cookie coupons that are manufacturer coupons that do not have the DND on them.

    • Do u mean the ones you printed? Mine from the paper don't say that, thank god cuz I LOVE the Yogurt

    • KAWilson

I think they will still automatically double…the cashier has to manually suppress that function. My Publix does not stop the doubling no matter what the coupon has on it.

    • Jen

If you look at the numbers under the 1st bar code, if it begins with a “5” it will automatically double at most cash registers, regardless of whether the coupon states “do not double.” If the numbers begin with a “9,” the cash register will NOT double it. That's how you can usually tell.

      • Garagedealz

Hmm I didn't know that, thanks.

      • MissG818

        Wow!! Thanks Jen…

  • sharon60

I normally don't buy meat at Publix, but there was a $1.50 off any Springer Mountain Farms Fresh Chicken in my 1/30 SS. Does anybody have any idea how much that normally is per pound for boneless? Thx

    • Jen

I think it's about $5.99-6.99 per lb. It's about the same as the Greenwise Publix chicken.

      • sharon60

        Thanks, that helps considerably.

  • itismedia

    Has anyone ever frozen yogurt?
    Thanks!

    • Coupons777

yes. When I first started couponing I got carried away with buying too much. I froze a bunch but what I have eaten so far after frozen is not too good. It is alright but the texture is different. Hope that helps.

      • itismedia

        THANKS

    • Goodbadbogo

my sister said its gross after freezing. if you were using it for cooking probably but the texture is so bad even the 2 year old wouldn't eat and she had to throw it out. But someone people say they don't mind.

p.s. 2 year old will eat anything hehe

      • itismedia

The two year old must be a little boy! ha ha Thanks for the heads up. I only want to buy 4 – 4 packs, but I am afraid they may go bad before they are all eaten. I will check dates and maybe make an adjustment in my amount. Even .25 for a 4 pk is not a good deal if you have to throw it out! =+)

    • Lisa

Use it to make smoothies, you won't notice any textural differences!

      • itismedia

Another good idea! Thanks for the suggestion.

    • Debee2000

don't hard freeze it, it is really good then.

      • itismedia

        Thanks

    • Jennydh

we put craft sticks in them through pre-freezing and the kids eat them as popsicles and love them!

      • itismedia

That is a good idea. My daughter takes them on her way out the door in the morning. She is 17, but she may like the idea of a “popsicle” for breakfast. Thanks!

    • Nicholerae74

We freeze the gogurt and it is really good that way. My kids like it better that way!

      • Gail

I also free gogurts – all the time – and my granddaughter loves them. I do, too, as a quick breakfast on my way to work.

    • I freeze it in ice cube trays for smoothies then pop them out and store in a baggie to use for smoothies.

Plus one of my dogs LOVES the yogurt ice cubes.

      • Savinbig

I mix a little peanut butter in with it and freeze for my dogs! They love it!

    • Cozmikcowgirl

You can freeze it. It is better if you mix it up really really well after you take it out of the freezer and eat it frozen. I called one of the companies that make yogurt and asked them about this very thing. They said it is fine to freeze but you lose the benefit of the active cultures. Other than that it is fine. In my opinion it is not a thaw and eat kind of thing, though. Consider it a frozen treat once you freeze it or add it in to a smoothie recipe.

  • anita

what zip code does one has to use on RedPlum to get the Northern TP Q?

    • Malissa

My redplum.com is not printing my coupons? I’ve tried for days now. Any ideas?

  • LovingMomInSC

Does anyone know where to get the swanson premium chicken coupon…don't have it in my SS!

  • Kmueller80

I have a question about competitor coupons-will they accept a Publix store coupon with a Target/competitor Coupon?

    • mwalt

Yes.. Publix will accept other store coupons. e.i. Kroger, Target, etc.

      • Kmueller80

I know they accept them but will they accept it along with a publix store coupon? Would I be able to use the in ad coupon for diapers with a Target Huggies coupon? Or better yet could I use the in ad coupon, target coupon and a manufacturers coupon?

        • Morgan

Not at my store, but that may not be the case everywhere. I can only use a max of two coupons (one manu and one store OR comp) per item. Call your store and ask. Or stop at CS on your way in.

          • MissG818

That is correct. Not every store accepts the competitor's coupons. I was a frequent Krogers shopper before coupons. Once I began coupon-cutting, I learned Krogers do not accept competitor's coupons, so I frequent Publix.

        • Yes, you can use all 3 coupons! “Stacking” is the term for that…and the more you can stack the more you can save! :) Make sure your Publix accepts a Target coupon. I have many Target stores in my town, but only one accepts a Target coupon because they are the one closest to the Target. The rest won't accept it.

          • Riley

Not every store accepts three coupons….

          • Malissa

How did you upload your photo to this site?

            Malissa

          • Mel

google gravatar and make an account with them and you can upload any kind of pic and everytime you go to this website or another that accepts comments your picture/gravatar will come up, your computer recognizes it automatically

        • Busymom'nbama

I think it depends on the store. Our store used to accept 3 “stacked” coupons but they changed the rules a few months back. Now, we can either use a competitor store coupon and manufacturer coupon or a Publix coupon with a manufacturer coupon but not all three together. I think its best to ask someone at customer service.

        • Meighansternberg

Sorry I am now responding to this post…I bought a Huggies box just last week with a Publix, Target and Manufacturer's coupon with no problem.

    • Suessundaycoupons

yes, you can also use a regular manufacturer coupon as well…

    • Meighansternberg

The publix I use will take their store coupon and a competitor coupon!

    • Jvs23love

      Yes!

      • Jvs23love

you can use a publix, target and manufactures coupon on the same item!!! =)

  • Hayleiprice

I was told that they dont take target coupons anymore? is that correct?

    • Sdavis2956

it is up to your store!!! Summerville, sc still does!

    • MissG818

The Publix in Kennesaw, GA still takes Target coupons.

    • BritishEmmaInFlorida

I think it depends on the Publix, I have one that is really far from Target and no problem at all and the other which is closer depends on the anager on duty – one says yes and one says no – very awkward but I try and find a sales associate that i know accepts and do that – I've even taught her how to coupon!!! she was impressed with my car full of Tiday cat cat litter!!!! Have fun everyone –

    • Cozmikcowgirl

The only one that will take them in the Birmingham area is on Greensprings.

      • Kay

The Montgomery Highway in Hoover Publix accepts Target coupons but does not double them.

        • Suz

Helena Publix takes them as well as the Publix stores in Pelham.

  • softballmom

I am looking for the Target coupon for the free crunchy nut cereal wyb cinnabon cereal. Is this coupon no longer available? It would be nice to kill two birds with one stone…cinnabon for my daughter and crunchy nut cereal for me!!!

    • Cwagner1111

hello, I had to [purchase mine from a clipping service. there is a great one called jans coupons, google her, she is really nice! I just ordered 10 more from her, cant go wrong with 25 cent cereal at target!

      • softballmom

Thanks for the help!! I am super excited about this deal especially since I have coupons for $1/1 Cinnabon and $1/1 Crunchy Nut Cereal. It would be great to have these printables!!!

  • Mollieirene

There is a .50 cent coupon in this months issue of All You magazine…..but I'm not seeing much that I really need from this weeks flyer.

  • Srlambert75

I am having trouble printing Target coupons. Can someone offer advice.

    • annette

I have trouble printing on IE – but have good success on firefox

      • Rdreysen

yes. I have problems on a mac computer printing with IE but it works fine for me on firefox

  • Doupaint2

New to coupons but having a ball thanks to this site. If a coupon expires on 2-9-11 can you use it the day it expires?

    • itismedia

Yes it is good up until the day on the coupon. HTH

    • MissG818

I am also new to coupon-cutting. I just started in Jan and already saved $300. I am having a BLAST!!! I love this website.

    • Susanizanurse

      yes!

  • Tara

Regarding the AMEX coupon – so if I buy a $50 card it will cost $44.95 and be valued at $50 – right? Can I use it to pay for my groceries that day? Like do the card transaction when I first get there and then shop; then pay using the card?

    • Emily

they take 4 hrs to activate…and in my expirience it truly takes the full 4 hrs.

      • Miccline

I just found that out the hard way. Do you think it is really worth it?

        • Cozmikcowgirl

I think yes. I look at it as a $5 off $50. Not a bad deal. Just don't plan to use it right away. I learned the hard way, too. I asked at CS before I bought and they said “no problem.” Then 45 minutes later when I tried to use it it would not work. Customer service called AMEX for me and they were told it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to activate. 10 minutes? What? So, I was a little peeved that day, but in the long run it is usually a good deal for me.

          • Jennifer

can you use a $10 publix gift card towards the purchase of the Amex card??

          • Nichole

            nope….i tried too

  • Anonymous

i tried to post this yesterday, but it never went through. If you go to the hannaford.com website in the coupon section there is a 1.50/1 coupon for the new england coffee. It will ask for a zip code put in 12206, and it will let you print 2. these are manf. coupons, and it will not have the store logo on the coupon. This makes them 3.39 for 2 bags of coffee.

Question: I have not been able to find the CapriSun Target coupon, Old El Paso coupon and the Scotties Tissues. Is anybody else having this problem? If so, can you give me some tips on how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Tyanne

    • Mel

I cannot get the Scotties Q either.
      Did not try your others….

    • Jvs23love

i havent been able to find them either =(

    • Megortiz63

these were available on the Target site weeks ago, they have probably hit their print limits, thats why you can't see them.
I try to print from Target all the coupons I might want when I see them because they do “disappear” – especially the good ones!

  • Kitnat

I tried to use Target coupons at Publix and they wouldn't accept them because they said that Target carries more than groceries. So, they didn't deem Target as a competitor? Has anyone else run into this problem?

    • Melaniewyrick

yes…my Publix will not accept them ..they told me that our Target is not a super target so therefore, theyh will not accept them.
also the target is about 8 miles away while the competor coupons they do accept are all within a mile ot two…

      • Mandymayfield

My Publix won't accept Target coupons either, but BI-LO will.

    • Usually Publix will not accept Target coupons as competitor's coupons unless they are in a 5 mile radius of a Super Target.

  • Kim Maynor

I noticed the coupon for Kraft dressing in the SS 1/23 states that it is for 14 or 16 oz. Are we allowed to use it for the 24 oz.?

    • Sandy

      no

    • Mellwells

thats what i was wondering to cuz on the match ups on several sites it references to use this coupon for 24 oz but sale one is 14-16 oz. I may try it to see what happens lol

  • wendyc33

anyone having trouble posting like me

  • wendyc33

when i try to post something, it says it needs approval, and ive tried to post the same thing over and over again, but it wont show up. lol.

    • Sandy

If you type in a website it has to be approved first to prevent spam.

  • Mel

    Publix in Mauldin, S.C.
Anyone have trouble stacking a Manf. Q with a Publix Q? My Publix would not accept them b/c the cashier said I did not have enough items. I asked her to ask the manager (very nicely:) ) and the manager was able to accept them.
I asked the cashier to explain to me so I will know for next time, just so I do not do something wrong…she told me to
“forget it….you would not understand” and started with the next customer. I asked management just so I would kwno and they siad I could….anyone else have problems? I think I am going to quit this Publix…they always seem to be rude….and I only had four Q.s……. thoughts?

    • Mel

also….I still owed a little bit of money….the total did not owe me any…

    • Cherylbpack

I had a similar experience but worse. the cashier actually took cans of soup out of my bag and counted them. she said I had 9 and I knew I got ten to use coupons with. Very rude! Everyone said I need to let corporate know about this.

      • Mel

was this at Publix in Mauldin also?

        • Cherylbpack

          Yes

          • Mel

            Oh, no.
Sorry. SOmetimes, i will just go to the Woodruff Rd location b/c they are
            MUCH more friendly.
I spoke to the new manager/owner at the Mauldin location about six months ago about the difference in customer service. The employees were supposed to go to training in c.s.
Sounds like it is time we call corporate b/c they will lose customers …..Maybe we had the same cashier! Haha!
Her name started with a B.

          • Susanizanurse

If you are opposed to calling corporate, you can always email them. I have emailed them with a couple of issues, as well as a couple of praise reports, & have always had them respond via an email from corporate as well as a follow up phone call from the store manager!

          • Darrel

The cashiers at Publix work their butts off for little money and no benefits and they alot of times have to put up with obnoxious customers who want everything!

          • Nichole

That is not very true. I was a manager at Publix and they are paid higher than other grocery retailers and Publix offers excellent benefits for all associates, not just full time.

    • Deb

Try the woodrufff Rd. locations. I haven't ever had any problems with it.

    • Audrey

Try the Simpsonville Publix I never have problems with them.

    • Natalie559

At my Publix in TLH FL if you have more coupons than items the register will stop or beep and a manager will be called over for approval. There is no problem using more coupons than items other than needing to do the override process.

      • Mel

same thing at the two stores I go to, if I have say 10 coupons and 9 items then the register beeps and a manager or someone has to come override but it's no big deal–they don't look at me funny or anything.

    • Crstnashppd

I dislike that Publix as well. Go to the one off Fairview in Simpsonville instead, its worth the drive. Cashiers and baggers are much friendlier (maybe 'cause they generally seem to be a bit older?)

  • Jvs23love

if you live in FL, how would you go about getting a kroger's coupon book?

    • Shevinr

I'm not sure, but I do know all of my local Publix stores DO NOT accept Kroger coupons. (Orlando)

    • Val

You have to have a Kroger card to get the book

      • Sandy

I should also mention that you'd have to use the card to get the book so, Florida couponers are out of luck

  • Gingiraffe

I went to Publix last night before I was able to see the new ad posted here with the coupons in the ad. All the ones on the back page of this week's ad were on a sheet on a display in the cereal aisle and these have a start date of Feb 10 and expire Feb 23. Not sure if that means that they will run these in the ad again next week, but it might be worth looking for them in the store and hanging on to them for the next week in case these go onsale then. (Unless you have inside info as to what will be on sale next week and are willing to share ;) )

*I was at the Publix in Athens AL, fyi

  • Kat

HI. I have a request if anyone has the $1 off Silk milk, Soymilk, Almondmilk or Creamer (Target coupon) from Target Comforts of Home 2011 home mailer that they don't want I could really use it. Thank you for considering it :)

  • Amedrow

Just so y'all know – I tried the Gwaltney Bacon last time it was on sale, and it's disgusting!!! You get what you pay for in this instance. Pay the extra money for a little more meat – this stuff was 100% fat! I threw it out.

    • Fotomama1

Gwaltney bacon is only good if you get the reduced fat (center-cut?)…but I don't think that ever goes on sale!

  • Fotomama1

Does anyone have a current RiteAid coupon-$ off $20 or $5 off $25? I feel lost without them to use at Publix!

  • Georgia

Someone may have addressed this already… Mentos gum is 5/$5 untill Friday with Yellow ADV buy. and there is a coupon for $1 off 3 in the SS 2/6.

Hi everyone! Could someone help me with a coupon scenario please? Im still new and trying to figure out the stacking thing. I have a buy 1 huggies diaper get 1 wipes free and 1 manf. coupon for huggies diapers and 1 manf. coupon for huggies wipes.
Here is the question…can I also use the coupons from Sunday's ad…the $2 off huggies coupon? Thanks!!!

    • guest

I hope I am understanding you correctly when I answer you-
Publix will allow you to use one manuf. and one store coupon per item. I dont know the exact coupon you are referencing from Sundays paper so I can only say -if it is a store coupon they will, if it is another manuf. coupon they will not. Also, in cases where the coupon gives you an item for free(like your first manuf. coupon says you buy the diapers and get the wipes for free) you are not able to use another manuf. coupon on the wipes, as your coupon in that scenario was actually for the wipes. You would be able to use another manuf. coupon for the diapers though. HTH!

      • Jthornton

        thank you!

My Publix (Conyers) has the Dial for Men hair+scalp+body wash on closeout for 2.03, reg. $4.99.

when I click on the Huggies snug and Dry $3.00 printable coupon on Publix it takes me back to the Target coupons. Should it take me somewhere else? i already printed the $2.50 target coupon

    • Ta

they are “tweaking” their website right now. it said so on their web page. It said it should be working soon. guess we can print out our coupons then.

  • MissG818

I am new to coupon-cutting and I wanted to get some clarification. I have 2 Hillshire Farm manufacturer coupons, can I use them both on 1 item?

    • Jolley1

No. But you can use 1 manufacturer, 1 store, and 1 competitor for 1 item!

      • MissG818

        Thank you so much…

        • stephanie

They aren't actually supposed to take both a competitor and store coupon for the same item since the competitor coupon is like a store coupon, but some stores do take both.

  • Yelik01

has anybody found the hebrew franks coupon cant find it in the all you?

    • Deephillip

i think they are in a magazine

      • Deephillip

yes its in the magazine called (all you)

    • Idocfl

I did not find it in my All You Magazine either.

    • Trdaniel07

its in the publix yellow super savers, jan 22 to feb11

    • Amy B.

Its probably only in the newsstand copy.

  • Deephillip

    does publix take target coupons

    • CCShad

depends on your store, it varies

    • Shrnkey

Ones in Greenville, SC will not take Target coupons

  • Shannon Kemp

Hi All, my local Publix in Nashville has buy two Kelloggs cereals and you get a cute vintage cereal bowl with your purchase free. 4 styles to choose from.

  • Mel

I am moving to fort benning, ga in a couple months (from tampa bay) and was wondering about the publix around there–what competitor coupons do they take and are some more coupon friendly than others? Any info would be great! thanks!

    • Mel

and what other grocery stores around there are really great like publix? down here publix is the best.

      • Nichole

There is nothing here that compares to Publix. We have Kroger which “might” be the closest thing, but still does not compare. I am from Fort Lauderdale so I grew up on Publix. Then there are lower end stores like Aldi, Ingles, and various off stores. But, when it comes to deals, you gotta check em all out. I admit, I do shop around

    • Ericasc3

I shop in Columbus Ga. at the Bradley Park Drive Publix. They take Target coupons and are always very nice.

      • The Bradley Park Drive Publix is the only one in the area that takes Target store coupons. The store layout is a little wonky for my taste, but it's worth it to get the Target coupons.

  • Elliega7

Can someone help me understand this? Swanson chicken – shows a coupon from 2/6 SS. I don't have that coupon, so I looked in the coupon variations, and it's not mentioned at all (Macon, GA) – I sort of expected to see it in red.

    • Amy B.

It wasn't in the Insert Preview to begin with… it came out regionally so the person who made the Macon list wouldn't have known it existed, so that's why its not in red.

  • gwhiz

Does anyone know if Publix will accept a slightly faded printable coupon? My printer just ran out of ink – ARGHHHH!
    Thanks

    • mary

Depends on if it scans and who your cashier is– I haven't had any problems

    • Annie

I know that my Publix in North Charleston, S.C. will take them as long as the bar code is there. I used a couple of faded ones today (caused by low ink in my printer) and there was no problem.

    • Crstnashppd

Yes, I have used them before where the ink is all weird and it didn't print (kind of like in stripes if you know what I mean) But they will scan.

      • gwhiz

        Thanks :)

  • Pam

I can't find half of the coupons that are supposed to be in my SS inserts. :-/ I'm assuming Smart Sources has different publications for different areas of the country??????

    • Danyeln

Yep, they vary regionally throughout the country. It seems that metro areas tend to get better coupons if you hav eone close to you. The ones here in Montgomery, AL got so bad I have begun ordering mine from a clipping service.

  • Rachel444

The first time I used coupons was about 3 weeks ago. The cashier gently informed me that they would not take Walgreens coupons from me after that day. Today, I went shopping without any walgreens coupons and was informed by the cashier that in APPROXIMATELY two weeks, Publix was going to start placing some VERY strict restrictions on the use of coupons. Has anyone else heard this????

    • Lexx034

Yes, mine started a new policy about a month ago. No drugstore coupons and store coupons have to be close. They won't take whole foods and there is one 10 minutes from them! They also informed me that coupons that say “redeem at publix” yet have a bar code, are not considered to be publix coupons and cannot be stacked. Only ones with no barcode can be stacked.

      • Potterharrymom

Don't those also often say elsewhere on them “manufacturer coupon”? I have found some like that which is why they do not stack.

  • Rachel444

let me clarify…. the restrictions had something to do with combining Publix coupons with manufacturer coupons. Does anyone know if this is true?

  • creativemel

The Publix in Goodlettsville, TN didn't have the B1G1 Ben And Jerry's and Starbucks ice cream deal. So bummed! :(

  • new couponer

I've been able to use 1 store coupon, 1 mfg coupon, and 1 competitor coupon for the same item at my Publix with no problem.

    • Bradyfigueroa

Can you please state the location of that Publix?

    • Mine is the same way. I can use 1 Publix Coupon, 1 competitor coupon (so far I know they take Food Lion/Harveys, Kroger, Walgreens, and Target) and 1 Manufacturer Coupon for each item as well.

      Location: Richmond Hill, GA

  • Danielle

There are manu coupons on the target website for $.60 on the Smart Balance. If you buy alot of the Smart Balance products there are several coupons for their products. They cant be used as competitor coupons but they are a slightly better value than the newspaper ones.

I am trying to find a rebate form for the Unileaver- Kimberly Clark, Publix $10.00 gift card. I have tried all of the publix's in my neighborhood. It is suppoed to be through February 13th. Any help would be appreciated

  • Tindall08

I need the information for the Unileaver-Kimberly Clark Rebate form…….If someone can email me the information that would be great….. tindall08@hotmail.com. Thanks!

    • Tindall08

I am wanting to get the rebate for the Huggies Deal

    • If anyone still needs the rebate form I have 6 or so left that I won’t be using. Just e-mail me your address: lisa.michelle.taylor(at)gmail.com replace the (at) with the @ sign.

    • Mjclark1977

I have extra booklets and I would be glad to mail one to you. The coupons expire 2/13/11 but as long as the rebate form is postmarked by 2/21/11 you should be okay.

  • Darrylwhittington

What is the deal with the AMEX card? You have to pay for an activation fee. Is it a good deal?

    • mj

You get a $50 gift card for $45, so yes, it's a good deal. I plan on buying it, then filling up my gas tank with it.

      • Pamela

Thanks for the idea. I knew I had to get some of these but didn't want too much money tied up in them at once but with gas and me commuting to work in an SUV I will use it soon enough.

        • Tangela

New to the coupon world too (and so addicted), so I wasn’t sure about the Amex card, but I thought that if Publix takes Amex cards, I could just use it for my groceries and have made $5. As I was finishing my shopping, I had my daughter ask customer service or a cashier if they took Amex cards. She said they did, so I bought one. Hey – it’s $5!

          • Anonymous

Yes it is a great deal! A free $5.00! In addition, BP is doing the Customer Appreciation deal whereby you get 8 gallons of gas and the give you a yellow card that you register online. Do this 5 times and they send you $10! This deal may be done 3 times for a total of $30

        • Tangela

The coupon for Campbells soup just says “75c off the purchase of 1 Campbell's(R) Soup” but the picture is of a can of Select Harvest. Does anyone know how Publix might handle this coupon? Do they go by the picture or the print?

When the ad says this “$1 off Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie or Dessert Bar Mix, 16.5-19.5 oz. (reg. $2.65)” Can you also use the Q that I just printed off from “Great Deals on Great Meals”? Please let me know before I try. LOL

    • The “Great Deal on Great Meals” should print out as Publix coupons. So, you can stack them with any manufacturer coupon without any problems.

      • lala

Thanks Jenny. Love this website!! I don't have any manu Qs but I just noticed that several of the Publix Qs that I printed off were identical to the amount advertised off in your publix ad. I wonder if they will ring up at the register first with the ad offage then the coupon amount off with the publix Q? I hope so!!

  • Mjclark1977

Does Publix double their own .50 coupons? I am in GA and they double mfg coupons .50 or less. I asked the cashier about their Beauty Basics to Fit your Budget b/c it has some .50 coupons in it and she said that they should double. I used the in ad coupon today for .50 off Spaghettio’s but it did not double. Still a good deal, but just curious if anyone else has noticed?

    • itismedia

My store (nor any that I know of) double competitor or store coupons. HTH

      • Sydney

My store, Charleston SC, only doubles manufacture coupons.

  • gery220

Hello everyone. I live in Florida so no doubles here. But my Publix manager and I were wondering how this works and why doesn't Florida do it. Does the store get the .50 or the $1.00 from the Man. If anyone can help us we would greatly appreciate it.

    • itismedia

They get the face value of the coupon, plus a .08 cent handling charge. They eat the “double”. It is a way to bring in customers and be competitive with other stores that also double. They do not double anything .51 and over nor do they double competitor or store coupons. From what I have been told, Florida has so many Publix they do not feel like they have to. On the flip side, when we have a BOGO we get each item for half price and you pay for one and get one free. With the right coupons, your deal is much better when it comes to BOGOS! HTH

      • gery220

Thank you so much for answering me. I have been doing this for 1 year and still learning everyday. I will inform my Publix manager.

Can someone explain last weeks add had Kraft mayo b1g1 and the list of coupons to use one said one off of a another type not on sale for 75cents off… how can you use that coupon.. I see that alot on here where it says buy 2 but you only buy one I am sorry I am getting confused…thanks for the help.. I need all the help I can on all this…

    • Studyallday

this is a CONFUSING QUESTION, BUT LET ME TRY TO HELP!!!!

2 kinds of coupons Store and Manufactures
      use one of each
B1G1 at publix you only have to buy one it rings up half price

in the case of the Mayo-
store coupons were 1/2 or .75/1
      maufactures .75/1
coupons state off Kraft product or Kraft mayo—- so no mater what the picture is of it is all about what the writting says.

      does this help?

      • Lkrawson3

yes some.. thanks.. the coupon that was listed was the 75cents off of sandwich shop and it was not on sale with the b1g1 for the reg mayo.. and with it saying use that coupon to get off of kraft mayo or miracle whip I was confused on how you can use that coupon.. it did state like Jenny had on the coupon sandwich section to use that coupon on the reg mayo.. sorry for all the questions i am really wanting to save more seeing it some just not like you all are… Thanks so much for the help…

        • Candi

You should be very careful about using coupons from the wrong product. Coupon Fraud is a very real thing and you can be prosecuted. A lot of the coupon match up sites, will link a coupon for a product that is NOT on sale. Be sure you are being honest about your couponing.

          • 3GAKids1521

I really don't believe she was asking a question to hint on fraud. i think she was asking a question because of confusion. She said plainly that she was new to this so i don't think you should blast someone because they don't understand and come here to ask the people who are more skilled and can answer her appropriately.

          • Lkrawson3

Thanks so much for the help… I do not for the record use a coupon unless it states for what it says.. I was only going by the ad that was stated miracle whip w/ 75 cents off.. and the coupon said to use the one for sandwich shop and I didn;t think you could use that one but , it said on here to use that one coupon.. I do appreciate all the help… I do NOT want to do anything wrong. I do need help at understanding stuff cause it does get confusing on here and yes I went to one of the classes and it cleared up some , but when you have 600 people in a class it is hard… Thanks anyways for the help.

        • itismedia

Sometimes there are goofs. When matching up all the coupons with all the sales with all the store (Whew! Just writing it is a lot!). There can be mistakes.

It can also be that one area got a .75 cent coupon for regular mayo while another area received .75 off a special mayo. Just check your coupons and make sure your using the right coupon for the right product.

Remember to read the coupon. Sometimes there may be a picture of a certain thing(s) on the coupon, but the coupon may say, “.75 off ANY mayo, for example.

As for your other question, everywhere but Florida and a few other small areas when you buy a BOGO item they each ring up half price so in those areas we only have to buy one to get the sale price.

          Hope all this helps!

  • Jeans_c30

I went to Publix today planning to buy the nestle creamer (32 oz) 2/5 with a .75/1 coupon. I ended up buying Baileys creamer (16oz) that were on sale 2/3 with a $1/1 off (in store dispenser) coupon. The Baileys was a better deal, 32 oz for $1. Or 16oz for .50 cents, versus the Nestley creamer (32oz) for $1.75.

  • Lady J

sometimes my mailings are real weirdo…I got ss on 2/6, ss in a rp on 2/9, and then another ss today…they all had a coupon for $50 off one mentos pack..my publix doubles…….. original price .79
FRESH breath for free + profit

    • Lady J

oops…I wish $50…I meant to say 50 cents

  • teresa

Publix in Sptbg, SC at Hillcrest, excepts the $/$$ from Save-a-lot.

  • Christine A

I found 16 oz. Bailey's (non-alcholic) coffee creamer 2/$3.00 with a blinkie dispensing $1.00 off, making each .50! I took 2 coupons and purchased 2 creamers so others could enjoy the savings, too. Good way to try new flavors!

  • Sharon

My Publix store told me last night that from now on they would ONLY accept ONE Publix store coupon per person per visit. I had 2 Publix Cheerios coupons with manufactured coupons. They took the manufactured no problem but said the coupon policy was being inforced and I could only use 1 store coupon per visit.

    • Sydney

The printable coupons state :Limit one purchase per coupon per person. My store is enforcing that also.

      • Amy F.

        Mine too :(

    • stacia

I've had that happen once, next time I asked a different cashier what the policy was and she said 1 per same item …need to ask the manager next time. I'm in Panama City.

  • Rebecca D

went to publix yesterday. tried to pick up the b1g1 hefty trash bags. there were none on the shelf, so i hoisted down a new carton of them. lo & behold….there were $1 peelies on each box!!! got a box of 55 drawstring kitchen garbage bags for $2.45! very happy with that!

    • Sierraaspn

We had the peelies in north ga too…. yayyy

  • lolly

Can someone tell me where the healty choice fresh mixers are? I looked last night at my publix but gave up after about 5min… normal I go longer but it was a long day at work and I was just ready to go home. I plan to go back and get more starbucks ice cream anyway! haha

    • Sierraaspn

I think the fresh mixers are pasta you can microwave, you put the water in it and then the container lid has holes in it to drain the water, I think they are in the pasta aisle as well… hope that helps

    • Bigrneyz

Yes. They are in the pasta section. I looked inthe freezer section first and couldn't find it. LOL!

    • Mindyinsc

Depends on your store. I have seen them with the soups and also with the rice/boxed goods. :)

  • Crystal

Does anyone have the post coupons? I did not have any in my SS flyer.

    • Mindyinsc

I did not have them either…and have searched the web with no luck..

      • Megortiz63

today at Publix in Canton GA there was a blinkie with $1/2 Honey Bunches Post cereals.

  • Mindyinsc

just cleaned out my coupon binder and I have a TON I will not be using before they expire next week. I have left-overs from the Green Flyer (I only used the Flinstone's q), and MQs also. I am heading to Publix on Trolley Rd in Summerville now and will play coupon fairy…so if you need Nicorette, Breathe Right, Centrum, Kool-Aid, Maxwell House, Zyrtec, Enfmil ($7-$8 off), Claritin, etc…I will leave them with the products.

  • Tangela

so bummed…went to Publix yesterday and they separated out the coupons that state “Do not double” and manually suppressed them from doubling. Do they recoupe the $ of the doubled coupons from the manufacturer? If not, then why not double all $.50 and under – even if it states not to double?

    • Tigress1321

mine doubles them anyways..you may want to ask the store manager if they had a policy change (maybe it was just that cashier in which I would never go through her line again) or find a new publix. sorry to hear that though

      • Tangela

went to another publix today b/c I wanted to get some more deals – they ran through the “do not double' coupons just fine. She even reminded me not to forget the coupon that was on the product, but the one I was using was better because, she said, “it will double” and it was a printed coupon that stated do not double. These stores are only about 4 miles apart, so I think I'll be going to the second store, plus they take Target coupons where the other didn't.

        • Amber

Do the Target coupons get doubled? Do they have to override them for the computer to accept them — or do they just scan normally like other coupons?

          • itismedia

Target and other competitor coupons have to manually entered into the computer. The bar codes are unique to the store they actually belong to so they will not scan at other stores like manufacture coupons will. They are entered by the casher for their face value. HTH

          • Tangela

No, the target coupons don't get doubled. I haven't paid close enough attention to see if they scan them or first enter something in. But I believe they probably enter something in for the competitor coupons. On the receipt it says competitor coupon.

    • Amber

Tangela, I'm in Greenville, SC and mine did that too! I was so frustrated! :(

I mean… things are expensive enough — why can't they let us have a break in a world where prices just keep going up and going up.

    • Clarissa

the manufacturer does not reimburse stores for the doubled coupons. The stores take a loss from it, but the recoup it by keeping their prices higher (except for the sale items which they may also take a loss from, but recoup it on those higher priced items). They allow the doubling so that you will come in the door and add more items in your cart that are not on sale.

  • happymom

Anyone have any All detergent coupons they would be willing to trade? I have tons of food and baby coupons to offer, including a couple for “free” items. Email me at happymom@sc.rr.com.

  • Tigress1321

heads up…if you have been trying to get the dove deodorant from kroger but they have been out like mine has…take your coupon and get the valentines green advantage flyer at publix (there is a $1 off dove deodorant publix coupon in there). they sell them for $2.99 regular price but with these coupons stacked it makes them free…and they had a bunch.

  • Tracey

There's an Old El Paso catalina listed on the SS catalina page – it is working with the Old El Paso products on sale this week?

    • Shelly

I don't see that. Where is it?

      • Tracey

I haven't been to Publix yet this week and was wondering if this catalina was working with the products there are on sale.
There's a list of National Catalina Deals at the bottom of the Southern Savers page & this was listed:
        1/24 – 2/20
        Old El Paso Products
Buy (3), get $1 off on your next purchase of Chicken/Beef
Buy (5), get $3 off on your next purchase of Chicken/Beef

    • couponfox

Publix doesn't participate in the catalina program.

  • Rmabry09

Heads up for the middle Tennessee Publix shoppers, Wacky Mac is 99 cents and I had coupons for 40 cents off that got doubled making it only 19 cents per bag:)

  • bunsencouponer

    LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE?!
The healthly choice coupon out of the Bilo New Year New You booklet says “limit one coupon per purchase”. Does that mean you can only use one coupon per transaction or will Publix allow multiple coupons just only one coupon per two products? I ask because my cashier during my last trip said they were no longer accepting more than one publix coupon when it says “one coupon per person per deal”. I have a lot of the Bilo coupons I would like to use!

    • Mamaberry

Purchase means per item purchased. Not per transaction. That being said, there is a lot of talk out there that a lot of stores are no longer allowing stacking. The standard has always been you are allowed one store and one mfg q per item in your transactions. UNLESS it says one q per transaction.
You should call your local store and ask what their policy is on coupons. If they don't offer details, ask specifically “so can I use a store and a mfg coupon on the same item?” and see what the response is.

      hth!!!

      • bunsencouponer

Thanks Mamaberry! That is great news! So far my Publix is still allowing stacking, they are just cracking down on the “one coupon per person per deal” Publix q.

  • I need a question answered, still new to this.
The Healthy Choice Meals are on sale. I have a store q for $1/2 and manufacturers Q for $1/2. Can I stack both those Q's on the same two items??

    • Sara Kathryn

Yes you can. You can almost always use a man. q with a store q. Especially at Publix! Hope that helps!

The deal on the Coca Cola 20 pack and free Ritz turned out to be one heck of a deal…here's how:
    Bought 2-20 packs of Coke
Got 2 free boxes of Ritz plus, used a $1/2 MQ for the Ritz
Stuck to the boxes of each of the 20 packs were coupons for instant free 2-liter Diet Coke.
I assumed I was getting 2-2 liters for free until I saw the sign for the 2 Liters that you buy 2, get 1 free.
All in all, I got 2-20 pack Cokes and got 2 boxes of Ritz crackers and 3-2 liters of Diet coke for free.
    That was a great surprise!!

    • Mcdowels

I'm still trying to figure out how you got the 2 – 20 packs of coke for free. I understand the other items. Thank you for posting this scenario!

I am very new to couponing and had something awful happen to me at Publix yesterday. I printed my list from this site and prepared my coupons (thank you Jenny for making it so easy). As I picked up items on my list, I placed my coupons in an envelope standing upright so that I could grab them out of the envelope when I got to the register. I was done with everything on my list and decided to go pick up some valentines cupcackes for the kids. My coupons were in the child seat of the cart. I turned away from my cart for just a minute ti pick out cupcackes and when I turned back to my cart MY COUPONS were gone! I thought they must have fallen so I checked the cart and the floor (if they had fallen coupons would have been everywheere due to the way I had them in the envelope). I was devistated….I put most of what I had in my cart back, keeping only the best deals. I have learned a valuable lesson. Coupons are as good S money, so from now own I will treat them as such.

I am so sorry. I would have been devastated also. I was talking with the HBA manager at Kroger last week and he told me a similar story. He and his wife were beginner couponers and he took his coupons and list to work with him to pick up items when he got off. He had put his envelope on the floral desk in the HBA dept and someone took his. He was pretty disappointed. It is hard to believe someone would do that. I always like to think of the old saying “what comes around goes around” in instances like this.

    • carrie

Just remember that God was watching and that person will have to answer for that one day; they will not “just get away with it”. I firmly believe He keeps track of everything we do, good and bad. To make yourself try to feel better, just hope that they needed it more than you, that's what I told myself when my grandfather died and my grandmother found $100 “emergency money” missing from his wallet when she was given his belongings at the hospital. It is a shame what people will do now and days. Like you said, you've learned a valuable lesson (I'm sorry that you had this experience) and now you've passed on your lesson so that we can all be more careful (I left my cart for a second on Thursday with my binder still in it – I'll think twice now), so thankyou!!!

    • Megortiz63

I accidently left my coupon file in the shoppong cart at Kroger a couple of weeks ago – dashed back when I realized I didn't have it – but I was 10 miles away – – it had a bunch of high value/free coupons in it – and an honest person had turned it in , undisturbed, to the customer service counter. Just wanted to balance out the sad stories!

  • Megortiz63

today at Publix in Canton GA there was a blinkie with $1/2 Honey Bunches Post cereals.

  • Marcie

The lysol website doesn't have a .50 off coupon. Just the $1 off of 2.

  • Jamie

There is a $1.50 printable for the New England Coffee here: http://www.hannaford.com/coupon/New-England-Coffee/838064.uts?keyword=coupon#. It is a manufacturer coupon. :)

    • Jewilliams0109

Worked Great! Thank you! I had to enter a zip from NY… 10941

  • Emrcampbell

Hi! I am new at couponing but so addicted. I was wondering, if I have a publix coupon 5dollars off 2 can I also use a walgreens coupon for 3 dollars off same product? Thanks so much:) emily

    • Gingiraffe

Depends on two things: 1) will your store accept Walgreens as a competitor (some stores only accept true grocery stores as competitors) and 2) will your store let you stack two store coupons? One Publix I shop at will let me stack a Publix, Target and Manufacturer coupon on one item. Other Publix stores in my area will not let me use two store coupons. HTH

      • Emrcampbell

        Thankyou!

  • Marglenna

Can someone quickly explain the $'s in parenthesis after the product price? I trying to figurebit out and can't! Thank u!

    • Gingiraffe

For Buy One Get One Free items, she first list the regular price and then the discount if you buy just one. In some states you do not have to buy two items to get the second free, you can just get one item for half price.

  • Cnswilliams

Will this be updated to included tomorrows coupons? (2/13)

    • carrie

When Jenny puts this together, she usually includes any coupons from the upcoming Sunday's paper that would match. If none are mentioned, then I assume none of the coupons coming out tomorrow would be a match for this week's Publix ad. Of course, there are always exceptions and as people look at their paper tomorrow and notice a coupon match, they will probably mention here so others will know.

  • itismedia

I may be the last to know as I hardly ever use a free coupon for over 5.00, but an FYI for the Savannah, Largo shoppers – They limit “free” coupons to 5.00. Just thought I would share. =+)

    • Thanks! Good to know! I usually shop @ the Richmond Hill location or occasionally the Pooler location. I was thinking about venturing out into one of the Savannah ones.

    • Sandy

      Thank you!

  • Joanie

Thanks for the coffee coupont link!!

  • guest

Does anyone know if there is a general rule as to if the RP and SS coupons expire at a certain time such as 6 months from the published date? I would like to remove them from my filing system at a certain point instead of looking at each coupon to see if it has expired. Thanks.

    • carrie

No, there is no standard like that. Every now and then you'll get a coupon (the ones I've noticed are Listerene and Reach products) that will expire a year later. But most seem to expire anywhere from at the end of the month to 3 months down the road. I organize by keeping whole inserts and I finally moved them from a portable file thingy to a file crate. I keep three months worth of whole inserts with each week getting it's own hanging folder. Each Sunday, I'll replace the old inserts from the oldest Sunday's hanging folder (ex: for me it will be the Sunday of October something) and put in the new inserts. I take about five minutes going through each old insert to see if there are any active coupons and keep the pages that have any, paper clip them, put the sticky tap label with that Sunday's date that I had sticking on the hanging folder to the front of the now paper clipped pages and put them in another hanging folder labeled “Older Coupons”. That way I still have them for the off-chance that I may need them but I'm constantly keeping my regular coupons free of clutter (like I said, I only keep 3 months worth current). I will go through that “Older Coupons” hanging folder at the end of each month when I also go through my binder to weed out the expired coupons I had already clipped, or tearpads, or peelies or whatever. All this to say, no there is no general rule that I have found.

    • Pinkandblackcrazy

I keep 12 weeks worth of coupon inserts and then after that period I just quickly flip through to see if anything has not expired normally it is just one or 2 and file those and throw the rest of the insert away

    • Natalie

I try to keep 24 weeks to make it easier on myself.

    • It is a good idea to look through the list of coupons you get on the variations list for your paper. Check for the latest expiration date and write that date on the front of your insert. That way, you can tell at a glance if it is time to discard the insert. You can also check the database. For instance, if you enter “12/5” you will see that there are 14 active coupons from the inserts dated 12/5. HTH

Hillshire Farm Deli Select Lunch Meats- When I clicked on the second printable for this item, it took me to their site to vote for a sandwich then they gave me 2 $1 off coupons!!!

  • CookingMommy

SS 2/6 has a $.75 off one lysol all purpose cleaner trigger which is the BOGO at Publix.

  • laura

Hoping someone can answer a question for me as I am still new to couponing. If Pubilx has a coupon for $7 off when you buy 2 can of Enfamil, and you buy 2 cans, can you use the $7 off coupon twice (since I have 2 of them)? I see this website shows Enfamil as $14/2 so does this mean you use 2 coupons for $7 off? Thanks everyone. I am so addicted already.

    • No, you can only use the $7 off 2 coupon twice if you were buying a total of 4. Concentrate on the # of products you have and the # the coupon is good for.

    • Marina115

You've probably already figured it out, but just in case…. The $7/2 is listed as an in-ad coupon or store coupon. Jenny has also listed a manufacturer coupon $7/2 so if you have the store and manufacturers coupon, you can use them both. Buy 2 cans and use one store and one manuQ and get $14 off 2 cans. HTH

  • i<3freestuff

So, I just wanted to let everyone know (if you didn't already) that with the deal where you can buy 3 Sun Drop 12 pks for $12 and get 1 free, there is a coupon in the Yellow Advantage flyer for $2 off 1 12 pk. So basically, you can buy 4 12 packs for $4 total.

    • Shay

Where do you get the Yellow Advantage Flyer? I thought I got the last one in the Sunday Paper, but I haven't seen the next one – Thanks for the help!

      • i<3freestuff

They are usually located in the front of the store where the weekly ad is located.

    • Aleman147

do i need 4 yellow coupons from plubilx?

      • i<3freestuff

Yes, you will need 4 total cpns, 1 for each 12 pack.

  • I got some awesome deals on Color today, In recent weeks in the paper I got Loreal, Perfect 10, Natural Essence, Nice & Easy hair coupons, $2 off. Well Publix has clearanced a lot of these to 2/$3.99 so I got 15 box for free today… whoo hoo.. All really nice colors to…

    • CouponNERD

Wow! A different color every other week and you are set for the year! (Just kidding, but sort of wondering what you'll do with that many boxes of hair color…)

  • Alissa

Had my best Publix trip ever, and even have my mother beat with savings. Trip value was $85, and after coups my oop was $6.33. I also had a coup for a $10 Publix GC with $50 purchase. All in all, I made $3.67 on my grocery bill!

    • crystalfawn

Wow great trip…Where did you find the $10 Publix GC with $50 Purchase?

  • Kb

    does publix price match?

    • KellyL

I do not think they do. Mine does not.

      • Kb

        thanks!

    • Sandy

      They do not

  • Trishapen

HEADS UP. On the Publix booklet with the SE Johnson products the coupons in book expire 2-28-11 however, if you are using your target coupons (if your store allows) to stack with the publix and manuf depending on when you printed them they will be expiring soon. Mines was today. I tried to hold out for a bogo but even without a bogo I did really good some things came out of pocket .28 cents or .40 cents and some actually made money on. too many to list plus
DH took my receipt to show it off to his friends since I spent $70.00 today and saved $293.00. and that included shrimp, lobster, crablegs, scallops and two ribeyes and case of diapers. Also money maker on the mentos at Publix too cost 2 for $1.00 and use the .50 off 1 which will double and you make 50 cents on each pack. Another MONEY MAKER in the pharmacy there is a booklet “health look” which has a coupon for $2.00 off ANY bayer and use the manuf $1.00 made .43 cents cost of bayer at my store for small box $2.53

    • Llphill

I want to know how you do that? I am just starting to coupon and am getting good deals, but nothing like that? I am still unsure I guess how to stack coupons? And especially with things like diapers and formula. so seriously how do you get $293 off! Give me some good coupon examples please

      • mom2girlz

I think a big factor is that her store must allow Target, Walgreens, CVS q's–most do not. My Publix will only take manuf. q's and large grocery stores around here (Bi lo, Whole Foods, Bloom)

      • KellyL

It makes a big difference if your store accespts comp. coupons. My store accepts Target, Kroger, & Walgreens. So I try to have 1 compt.coupons (mostly target) & 1 manf. coupon for each BOGO item. It takes a little practice.

Example – I had 1 target Quaker Instant Oatmeal $1 off used it with $1 off manf. coupon = $0.99 oatmeal.
        1 Publix coupon (green flyer) $5 off two Bayer low dose aspirin. I purchased 1 120count box @ $5.39 & 1 32 count @ $2.37
        I had 2 $1 off manf. coupons
        $8.30 – $7 (coupons) = $1.30 for both items
Most of the time if you have just the manf. coupon for the BOGO it is a great bargain.

      • Marina115

Keep in mind that the $293 saved is not just from coupons. It's from buying the items at their lowest possible price, which is BOGO. So by buying products only when they're BOGO, you've saved 50% off of your total right there. And then your coupons are added savings.

  • gwhiz

Loving all the great deals I got a Publix. I'm still super excited about my .25cent yogurt and free toothpaste! Thanks Jenny and everyone else for the great tips:)

    • KT

What was the free toothpaste & what coupons did you use? Thanks :)

      • cshan

there's free toothpaste at CVS and Rite Aide (via extra bucks)

  • Rwilson

OK, I'm new to couponing and need some help figuring this out. If I buy the Kraft dressing that is BOGO and use the B2G1 Target coupon, then does that mean I need to get 3 kraft dressings in order for it to work? Thanks in advance!

    • SavvyMommy

Yep! Your third dressing will be free!

    • Marina115

When it comes to BOGO questions you should let us know what region you're in. In FL it's true BOGO so you would buy 1 and get 3 free i think. And in GA and SC you would buy 2 and get 1 free.

  • Susan

Spent five minutes registering to be able to print the Coffee Mate coupon, and then got a message that said, “There are no prints available for this campaign.” Can anyone explain?

    • Sb

Coffee Mate only allows a certain amount of coupons to be printed. There are none left.

      • cshan

Do you think they will re-set it? Already bought a couple w/ 75cents off, but I'd rather have em at 67 cents!

  • Sheila

I don't think this has been listed. Public yellow flyer says 2 mentos for $1. There is a coupon in ss 2/6 $.50 off one. Use 2 coupons makes them free!!!

    • Sheila

      *publix!

    • Salesister

I believe that it says it is off a much higher count box than the 15 or 18 ct. mentos that are in the flyer.

      • carol

The coupon from ss 2/6 is $.50 of any one Mentos product – the item on sale is shown on the coupon so it will work just fine.

    • edie

      Just got these! Thanks Sheila!

  • Jessica

Food Lion has $3 off a box of huggies on their website!!!

  • dfcamom23

Sometimes I see a coupon listed that is not for the exact item. Is that ok?
For instance, on this list is a Target coupon for Jello mixes in the box. It is paired with the refrigerated Jello snacks that are on sale. Will Publix really honor these?

    • Mel

when I get to the checkout I show the coupon and ask if I can use it on what I have and they usually say yes. Just ask. I've even had a cashier say, “as long as it's the same brand!” which was awesome.

  • spmetz

so I had a bad day at Publix today! I tried to get the Vivarin deal and the cashier was telling me that she couldn't use all the coupons because they were for more than the product was (I would get overage!). She called over the manager and she said the same thing! I told them that I did the same thing last week with the sominex (the vivarin was all out so I couldn't get it then) and I had to problem. I also told them that I've done similar things in the past with no problem. She just said that they “couldn't” do it because it was for more than the value of products! I've even walked out with them paying me money at the same publix before!!! So I told her I didn't want them and would just go to a different publix and do it! Can I call corporate and complain?

    • GuestCashier

No, you shouldnt. No store is obligated to give you overage….my store's policy is not to allow it.The item can be free but we cannot allow coupons to give over the amount. We are to adjust it to simply free or refuse the coupon that would send it over the amount of the item. However alot of cashiers dont check/do the math, which is why you've done it before..I would have blocked you from using them too because again it is my store's policy not to allow it, and that is straight from the mouth of my store manager to me. You got a experienced, coupon-savvy cashier that knew what she was doing and did her job Deal with it.

      • Val

The overage policy depends on what the store manager allows. Spmetz, I would call and talk to the actual store manager (not just the manager on duty) and see what their policy is.

At my Publix they allow overage and their cashiers are extremely friendly and helpful. Unlike GuestCashier here.

        • LakelandGal

Yes, because they'd block or adjust a coupon because its part of the job that makes them unhelpful and unfriendly.Really? This person was direct about it, but apparently that is how is it at that store. People are unbelievable…what do you expect?

          • Sandy

Read my comment again. I wasn't saying her cashier was unhelpful and unfriendly I was saying that “GuestCashier” who commented on her post was. You and GuestCashier don't know what her store policy is– which is why I told her to call her store manager. She has done it in the past, so, perhaps the cashier was misinformed.

I EXPECT people to be respectful when replying to questions and comments. Is that really too much to ask?

    • Mel

they don't have to give overage, but my store does and I don't see why they wouldn't–after all they get reimbursed the full value of the coupon! I don't think I'd complain, but I would find a different publix nearby that allows overage.

    • PublixGal

You have to understand that Publix loses a lot of money with coupons. Why, How, do you ask? Well no one reimburses Publix on their own coupons. The store eats that amount, and those are generally good coupons to combine with manufacturer ones. I know, I do it all the time. I work for Publix and we have customers who we shall say “abuse” coupons. They make a lot of copies of internet coupons and combine them with a stack of Publix coupons (Publix coupon policy states one publix coupon per family/household/etc. of each coupon — bottom line is, only one for you) and people don't really follow those rules and so Publix infact have been losing money because of this. Hey, I work for minimium wage as a cashier, I understand trying to get a bang for your buck, but if people continue to abuse the coupon policy I'm afraid eventually they will have to put an end to it all which screws over everyone who shops at Publix and uses coupons responsibly. I mean, I seen women who have a cart full of groceries and with coupons and end up paying $2.00 for everything.. and they have meat and vegetables and organic stuff you know there is no coupons for but was purchased with all the “overage.” aka Publix ate the cost on all of that. I'm not telling anyone off or anything, I am simply informing. :)

    • Marinka115

You want to complain to corporate because they wouldn't pay you money for shopping there? It's sounds kind of silly if you say it that way, but that's what you would be doing. It's one thing if they were rude and disrespectful, then you could complain about their attitude not the actual coupon policy. But from how you described it, they were simply informing you of their policy. It's a sad day when “free” is no longer good enough. I'm not trying to be rude, but that's just my humble opinion.

  • Jennifer

I can't figure out the POM Q. Anyone had any luck with it?

  • LT

Does anyone have a zip for the -1/1 athenos products?
    Thanks!!

    • cshan

i'm lookin for the same one!

    • Mercyendures

try zip code 90210. I found it there!

      • edie

        90210 only had the 2/$1 :(

  • Tracyolivia

I found the POM q by clicking on the “Newest Flavor” POM Cranberry or something similar to that. The q in in the lower right corner. I could only print one. :(

    • edie

found it exactly where you said. thanks!!!!

  • Marina115

Publix can't double their own store coupons because they don't get reimbursed for them. The manuQ gets doubled because they are reimbursed for half of it and the other half is an added savings for you.

  • Casablancafashions

I had an extremely bad day at my Publix yesterday!!! I was so upset that I had trouble sleeping since I felt helpless and I didn't know how to handle it since I'm still new to this!! Anyway, I tried to score some good deals using the overage from Sominex and Vivarin by combining both printable coupons and the green advantage $5 coupon; the cashier went nuts about the fact that coupons are not supposed to give you overage to pay for other things and that she could only allow me to use “some” of the coupons not all !!! I tried to reason with her but in vain so I just took my coupons and left_ It was a real bummer considering it was the last day for the green advantage! What should I have done? and is she right?

    • Casablancafashions

Never mind guys! I just read the comments from a couple of days ago. Guess I wasn't the only one! Better luck next time! :)
