      Thanks for this Jenny!

    • Susan

Thanks, Jenny, for all your hard work! There are no prints available for the Green Giant vegetables.

    • Terry E.

I couldn’t find the coupon for the betty crocker premium muffin mix. Is there a certain zip code I need to use??

    • Jenny
Could I use a $2 off Coupon for an any flavor any brand milk on 2 half gallons or does it have to be a full gallon?
We drink Lactaid and they are on sale for $3 so if I buy 2 and use the ($2) off one gallon coupon it will make it $2 each, which is pretty cheap for expensive milk…

    • amanda

pepsi buy two get one free? there is a coupon from the yellow advantage buy flyer for buy 2 get 1 free as well. can you combine the two offers

I appreciate your work, Jenny, and so do my family and friends.

    • Lyndsey

Thanks Jenny! We REALLY need charcoal and I have been telling my husband we can’t fit it into the budget. He’ll be happy!

    • Christy

What zip code do you use on coupons.com to get the 50 cents off 1 Betty Crocker muffin mixes? Thanks SOOOO much! Our family wouldn’t be eating much without your help! You are awesome! <

    • Tarin

Fuel for School has $1/2 NutriGrain if you are planning on the Buy Theirs Get Ours. My RP didn’t carry that coupon. Check your receipt to make sure they credit the Publix item; it isn’t automatic!

Also “Fuel” has $1/2 Morningstar Veggie Products And Target has $2/2- which is making a pretty good sale for yourself.

I found Fuel for School in last week’s Sunday paper. Does that sound right?

Thanks Jilana for the applesauce coupon!

      Jenny you’re great!

    • Karen

FYI – The cashier at the Publix in downtown Greenville, SC told me as of August 15th they will not accept anymore Food Lion coupons. Very sad.

    • rossi

this is the last week for the kraft/publix rebate offer– are there any good deals that count toward that? i love your site!

    • Ln

The applesauce coupon is for the 4 pk and the BOGO sale is for the 46-48 oz. jar.

    • Lana

The Musselman’s Q is on the 4 pack so it doesn’t work this week.

    • Beverly Weatherford

I was at Publix in Easley S.C. this week and was told by the clerk that after 8/17 they will no longer accept competitor coupons, not sure if this is only for this store or for all stores.

    • Jamie

Can anyone find the Betty Crocker Muffin Mix coupon? Maybe it’s not available to my zip code??

    • Heather

I talked to a cashier at Publix last night about the competitor coupons, too…here is what she said…after the 15th, they will only accept local grocery competitors (that means in Greenville, SC it would be bi-lo, bloom, whole foods, earth fare. NO food lion (even though bloom is a FL co, she said even they don’t accept FL c’s.) and no rite aid, no target…hope that helps!

    • Ln

Can someone explain the pepsi deal to me? I have one of the coupons listed, but I can’t seem to wrap my head around how this works.

      • Jenny

When Publix makes it Buy 2 get 1 Free, none of the products are actually free in most areas. So you are paying the full price of two spread out over three products. You are then going to use the coupon for a free bottle, so now you are paying the full price of one spread out over the bottles.

        Does that help?

    • Amber

On my coupon on the pampers free wipes, it says on the coupon “on any box of pampers” I don’t know if that applies to all the coupons or not.

    • Shauna

for those looking for the printable coupon for:

Betty Crocker Premium Muffin Mix, 15.2-18.25 oz, at $2.59
-.50/1 Betty Crocker Fiber One Muffin Mix printable (makes it .29¢ ea)

Your zip code probably has it but you just aren’t recognizing it. (30044 has it and many others too) The picture is of a single box and it says Fiber One across the top very boldly and two muffins underneath. After looking at it closely, you will see the little red betty crocker spoon on the box. I just hope the Fiber One type of muffins are included in the sale at the store.

    • Ln

Very much so! Thank you for the help. Not just on answering my question (with speed!), but also for putting these lists up in the first place. I know you hear it a lot (or I hope you do!) but this has cut our budget in half or more, helps me continue to be a stay at home mom, we have more than we ever have, and we are able to donate so much. Thank you!!

    • Susan

I can’t find a SS 7/26 from The State paper in Columbia, SC. Was there one for sure?

    • Michelle

On the Pepsi deal there is also a coupon for a $1.00 off any (2) 2 liter Pepsi products in the Publix Family Fitness Weekend brochure. I found these brochures by the juice/gatorade isle at our Publix.

    • Rebecca

FWIW, I just called my local Publix in Anderson, SC, and a customer service person told me there’s no change to the competitor coupon policy. I *hope* he knows what he’s talking about.

    • lynn

yes there was a fuel for school in sundays ppaper but no it iss not the same one as people are finding in the the store the ones in the store do go nicely with sundays paper

    • Heather

Each store is different as far at the coupon policy goes. The one in Easley will stop accepting Food Lion, target and any drug store coupons as of Aug 15th. They will only accept Bilo and Ingles.

    • My printable for the Betty Crocker Fiber One Box Muffin Mix says DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE – anyone else has the same? As a matter of fact a lot of the new August Betty Crocker printables on Coupon.Com say the same. Is it the same for you Jenny?

Ms Jenny you are amazing. Ive been couponing since Samia Samture’s days lets say ages ago (Pre internet). I have finally found the 21st century and happened upon your site. You are beyond the Coupon Queen – and how kind of you to share. I enjoy everyone of your newsletters and start my day with them . Many thanks from the bottom of my heart – my hubby now gets involved too.

Is anyone having trouble getting the food lion coupons for caprisun and other food lion coupons on this site. It keeps saying “page no longer found”
      please let me know thanks

    • Shannon in ATL

30253 works for the Muffin Mix

    • Heather

I am having problems with the food lion coupons also! 29640 works for the muffin mix also!

    • Elizabeth

I have a question. I went yesterday to Publix and had a stack of q’s to use, I handed them to the cashier and she completed the order. I knew my total still sounded high so when I got home, I went over my receipt and noticed that some of my q’s weren’t used. For instance, I had the $2.50 off 2 milkbones and that is not on my receipt. Is there anything I can do after the fact? Any help would be greatly appreciated! By the way…I absolutely love this site!! So helpful! Thanks!

    • jon

Food Lion sent me an e-mail this morning about issues with printing their coupons… the e-mail stated the issue was resolved and to try again. . .

    • Nikki

I have a question about the Pepsi, if I get the buy 2 get one free..use the yellow advantage flyer “buy 2 get one free coupon” AND use the $1 off 2 pepsi products coupon in the “Making Triathlon cool again” coupon, would I be able to use both those coupons? If so, I figured I could get 12 bottles for $1.56! That would be amazing!

The betty crocker muffin mix was not on sale at the Publix in Irmo. It was full price at 3.59

    • Amy B.

Brittany -did it ring up wrong or it just didn’t have a sign in front of it? A lot of times on Wed. they don’t have all the signs up yet. It shows on sale in the weekly ad here.

    • Sandy

Just wanted to let everyone know that there are no prints available for the Purina cat food $3.50 coupon. So dont waste your time doing the survey and setting up the account :(

    • Erin

Finally bogo on Honey bunches of oats! I was wondering what was going on with that! thanks jenny your great. The capri sun deal will be great for my sons birthday this weekend!

    • Teresa

I just wanted to offer a tip here. Some of the manufacturers sites offering coupons – like the Honey Bunches of Oats and Campbells Soup – require you hit “allow” on a pop up window before you print the coupon. What you are allowing is access to some pretty personal information on your computer for their marketing purposes. I am bad about clicking those things just to get my coupon but my computer-geek husband :) asks me not to do that because of the information about me that these companies can get.

Just a heads up. It’s good to know what you are agreeing to so you can decide if it’s worth it to you!

    • Publix in Greenville, SC said the same as above that many of you said, but that it would still depend on each store’s perimeter to other competitors and their choices. For instance, I live two miles away from the Publix on S. Pleasantburg, ironically….I got a FL flyer in my Wednesday paper two weeks ago and I live about five minutes away from an Ingles in Mauldin…..they will not accept any coupons from Ingles or FL…..or anything that is more than a five mile radius of the store.

The Publix in Mauldin…will accept Ingles as they are right across from them…..I might be making my larger trips to Easley or Anderson for a twenty minute drive sometimes to save the extra $20 – 30 dollars…..

Does anyone know what the Publix on the Parkway has chosen to say?

Also…Bi-lo on S. Pleasantburg, by G-ville Tech did accept still my FL coupons and Walgreens cash rebats…

    • Stacey W

The Chips Ahoy aren’t on sale are they? Does anyone know the price?

    • Elizabeth

This does not look like a good week for me…the first time in a long time. That’s okay, though. I got so many Pop Tarts and macaroni and cheese (Whole Foods) that I don’t know where to put it all, so we can use this week to make some more room.

I went to Publix (Kennesaw, GA) Barrett Pkwy and Bells Ferry last night and saw a fellow couponer w/ her big binder full of coupons. I thought that was so cool.

    • Kam

I went to the Publix by the dam in Irmo this morning and got the BC muffin mix B1G1 for 2.59. I wonder if it just rang up wrong? That’s worth going back and getting your money back!

    • There’s a new $1/2 FLip for KC Masterpiece- so you could do your charcoal deal like this:

      **Deal Idea**
      (2) Kingsford Charcoal $7.99/ea
      (2) KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce $1.99/ea
      (2) Pork $3.xx/ea
      -(2) $6 off Pork
-(2) $2 off Kingsford (or $3 or $4 depending on the q’s you have)
      -(2) $3 off Charcoal FLip
      -(2) Free KC Masterpiece mq
      -(1) $1/2 KC Masterpiece FLip
Total Due: -$1 to 2 (depending on price of pork items purchased)

    • a footnote to my prefious post- that’s using 2 of the $3 charcoal flips in one transaction, so it would depend on if your Publix is ok with that. I have asked the store manager at our store and he has approved it.

    • Val

I live in North Alabama and went to Publix this morning and was able to get $130 worth of groceries for $35. Not to shabby. I am loving the savings!!!! Thanks Jenny.

    • Jackie

The $1.00 printable for the Kraft cheese says “retailer coupon” would you be able to stack it with a manufacturer’s coupon?

      • Jenny

The Kraft coupon for cheese is really a manufacturer coupon and should not be stacked. Sorry.

    • elizabeth

Hi!! Thanks Jenny for all your work!

I have tried printing the HBO Post cereal coupon on two computers and both times it only lets me print one…anyone else having this problem?? Am I doing something wrong?

    • Alison V.

FYI regarding TARGET coupons- in my mommy-brain world, I just assumed the Target Q’s still had the same verbage and THEY DON’T! I was so embarrassed when I tried to use 4 morningstr frms Q’s the other day and Publix cashier read it and it now says “one per transaction”. Also, the CSR tried to be a stickler and say technically they shouldn’t take the SuperTarget Q anyway. (But if Target takes it, then why not?)

Elizabeth #38…always call the manager as soon as you notice it. that way if they want to dbl check your story, they still have the cashier’s till to look at. i’ve had that happen before at bilo and they were really nice about it.

    • Erika

Is that Pampers deal a good one if you use both the Target and manufacturer Q’s? Getting ready for a new baby and trying to stock up when I can!!

    • Alicia

Question about the charcoal/pork deal…is “The Other White Meat” a brand, or can you just buy whatever pork publix has?

      • Jenny

The other white meat is just any pork so you are good to get whatever is on sale!

    • MIcah Tignen

Not sure if the comment already has been up, but my Publix still takes Walgreens and they have the Jello 2/$1 that I used with the .50$/2 Jello coupon for free Jello.

    • Is anyone else having trouble printing the campbell soups coupons? Help

    • Sue

We had the BC Fiber One Muffin Mix q in our 7/19 S insert (SE Georgia).

    • Shannon

I tried to go to Campbell’s website to print the coupon and still was stuck so I sent an e-mail to their support and told them how excited I was to see a coupon and that I really wanted to print it. I will let you know if I hear from them.

    • tina

Can someone post a link to the food lion flip for the bbq sauce?? thanks!

    • Debra in West Cola, SC

      Hi, Jenny

I was wondering if I can use a baked lays coupon for the bogo free chips?
Keep up the good work, I don’t know how you do it. This website has been a blessing to me. I ran across this site by accident awhile back. Thanks for all you do.

      • Jenny

The B1G1 Chips exclude the Baked variety sorry.

    • Anne Marie

      Hi Jenny,

I am very new to this- only about 3 weeks, but am excited to see all the savings. I have a question Elizabeth #38 said she realized that one of her coupons didn’t get used, how do you know? Do you count or inventory the coupons you are going to use before you go? I wondered this on Sunday when I went to the grocery store armed with a ton of coupons. Most of the coupons just read print “vendor coupon”, so it’s hard to know which didn’t get scanned. Also, I have one that says apple flips and then was voided. Anyone know what that means?

Megan #41 I am in Atlanta too and didn’t find that coupon in mine either.

I appreciate you so much for doing this! I know I am saving a ton, even though I haven’t gotten the hang of it yet!

      Anne Marie

    • maureen

      Will Publix accept Harvey’s coupons?

    • sandy

FYI–Publix in Chattanooga,Tn does not accept Harvey’s coupons.

    • Jenny

Hello, Where do you find the “raise your hand for savings” booklets?

Thanks so much for all your work on this site!

    • JA

I am having trouble printing the Food Lion CapriSun coupon, any tips?

    • tonyac3

    • tonyac3

I did not mean to do that in caps I looked up and oooops I already hit submit. Sorry :)

    • Joy

This site has been very helpful to me in getting started with couponing. I would love to add Wal Mart to my weekly shopping but can’t find a breakdown of deals like I do for Publix here on this site. Any recommendations?

    • Kathy

      I’m confused about the
-$2 off Store Bread, wyb(2)Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks “Fuel for School”

I got the fruit snack coupon, but where does the 2 off bread come from?

    • Michelle

Thank you for all your hard work Jenny! I have been following your site for a few weeks and have saved a ton of money. I am managing to stay on a much lower food budget– which really helps a stay at home mom!

    • Jessica

Yeah! I’ve been saving my Fiber One toaster pastry $1.50/1 coupons that I got off boxes I bought in the Spring (don’t expire until next year), and now I can finally use them with the B1G1 for a money maker!

    • Tarin

The Betty Crocker Fiber One Muffin mix is not on sale- only “reg” varieties (Parkway, Greenville store).

    • Hillary

-$1 off any dairy item from Publix Baby Club exp 9/6

money maker on Kraft Cheese if combined with mfg coupon!

    • Tarin

Also, the bags of Chex Mix have peelies on them!

    • Kim

Live and learn! I bought 20 of the Red Baron pizza q’s that were in the Sunday insert off ebay today and my Publix does not carry the fire baked kind. Hopefully someone will have that particular kind on sale before my q’s expire.

    • Kim

I just left Publix a happy woman. I just did the charcoal deal and here’s what I got!

      (1) Kingsford Charcoal $7.99/ea (COUPON ON BAG FOR A DOLLAR OFF)
      (2) Ball Park franks $5.00/bth (COUPON ON MEAT FOR A DOLLAR OFF WITH KETCHUP PURCHASE)
      (1) Pork (Bacon)$2.50/ea
      (1) Ketchup $2.19
      -(1) $6 off Pork
-(2) $1 off Ballpark Franks on the package
      -(2) $1 off Ballpark Franks
      -(1) $3 off Charcoal FLip
-(1) $3 Off Kingsford Charcoal tear off
-(1) $1 off Kingsford charcoal on the bag
      total price $2.68

My hubby’s mouth dropped open when we pulled this off. The cashier did say that they couldn’t accept competitors coupons over $5 but would make an exception ‘this time’. I am doing a happy dance!

    • Tarrah R.

I just LOVE reading everyones ‘other deals’ that Jenny maybe didn’t see, or didn’t know about, and what-not. I just hate weeding through the hundred other comments to find them. Just a suggestion: Perhaps you could have a section for ‘other deals found’ and ‘questions’? I don’t know if that would work, because how many of us who know what we’re doing will go to the questions list to answer? I doubt I will, at least while it’s still summer. But usually Jenny answers them anyway. Am I the only one with this thinking, or would this be a great idea? (Reading through the comment on the three stores I go to takes a LOT of extra time, but they are almost always VERY helpful in finding other deals!). If nothing happens, I’ll continue reading through the posts, just wanted to throw an idea out there. God Bless!!! ;-)

    • lynn

florida doesnt have the penny item here.. sorry..

    • Wendy

I can’t get the $6 off pork coupon to pull up- any suggestions?

    • Bonnie in ATL

I agree – it would be helpful if deals found by others could be highlighted in some way. Maybe write *DEAL ALERT* at the beginning of a post to draw attention to it???
Wonderful site with lots of great dialogue.
      As always, thanks to Jenny!

    • Julie

I just saw a Upromise e-coupon for Honey bunches of Oats $0.75….so, it’s free with coupon, plus $0.75 for college!

    • Julie

A couple of weeks ago at my Publix I got a nabisco coupon book “Save $55.00 Throughout the School Year”. It has a coupon for the Nabisco Cookies of Crackers $1/2. Just a little bit better than the 75c/2 in the newspaper.

    • Lynn

      Elizabeth #38

Also happened to me. Got home and found out that over $4 hadn’t been taken off. Went back and they gave me a refund. Very good Cust. Service. The annoying part? I asked the cashier if she had gotten all the coupons and she said yes, ma’am, I did them as we went along. So not true…

    • Teresa

I’m pretty sure it’s happened to me at Publix at least once.. I asked the cashier and she said she scanned them all, but I know I was suposed to have more $$ off.. I didnt make a big deal about it though, there were a lot of ppl waiting to pay.

It also happened to me in Rite Aid, 3 of my coupons didnt scan so she entered them manually, she entered +$3 not -$3… so I ened up paying $6 extra.. I asked her about it and she said it was right.. so I went outside, checked everything carefully and went inside and explained to her.. then she wanted to return $3 to me and wouldnt get that I needed $6 from her not $3.. but anyway.. they’re usually pretty good about it :)

    • Erica

      DEAL found at Publix

Lean Cuisine Lean Pockets are on sale for $1.49, all the quesidilla style ones have 0.50 coupons on them making it .49 each! (this was found in Nashville, TN)

    • Amy

I found a flyer w/$7 in coupons at my N.Central FL Publix yesterday, good on Dove, Suave, Q-tips, Vaseline, and Degree. They’re Publix store coupons which I found on the endcap of the Health & Beauty aisle.

    • Katie

Just and FYI to all those in the Chas. area. The Publix at the Queensborough Shopping Center in Mt. P has the “Raise your had for savings” booklets on display int he back of the store (near the cheese). There were only 20-30 left yesterday when I was there.

    • Carol

I just recently retired and decided couponing would be my new job. I scout out sales and use coupons to get the best deals possible. Thanks to your site and all I have learned, I am still able to donate items even though I only receive Social Security.

Quick questions: I have manufacture coupons for $1/1 and .35/$1 Kraft mayo. Is it “legal/honest” to use together? Is this what is called stacking coupons. I haven’t understood that part. Thanks again for all that you do to help me and other like me.

    • Ln

You cannot stack two manufacturer coupons together. Stacking means you can use a manufacturer coupon and a store or competitor coupon together. Some lucky people have stores that will let them use all three kinds on one product, but I don’t think they are the norm. For the coupons you have listed above, you would have to buy 2 mayos and use one coupon on each one. Hope this helps.

I agree that there needs to be a system of letting others reading the comments know that you are writing about a deal found in the store. However, if there was one place for them all you would still have to weed through them because people from different stores would be commenting. Instead of Jenny having to create a place for this (because she’s really busy), couldn’t each person leaving a comment about a great deal title their post with **DEAL ALERT** like Bonnie in ATL mentioned? Then others, can scroll down quickly looking for that title only. How about we all start doing that?!

    • JEB

On another site I had seen that in a Publix sneak peek 2 liter cokes are 3 for $4….but don’t see that here or on the ad…Does anyone know if they are this price or is that an error? There is a $1 off 3 in advantage flyer that is good thru Aug. 7.

    • Wendy

I hate to be a pest, but I have ready every post here and checked back three times- still hoping SOMEONE….ANYONE can tell me something about the $6 off pork coupon with the Kingston Charcoal? I emailed Kingston, and checked the pork website. Desperate to get my hands on it! This is week 3 for me and I’m giddy like a school girl to save! LOL! Thanks for all your help, Jenny!

    • JEB

Just found this awesome Mrs.Paul’s fish coupon…am in need of these and waiting for a sale, but with this Q, I am making my own sale!

      SmartSource has a $3/1 and a $1.50/1 Mrs. Paul’s printable coupon available(use zip 30013 if you don’t see them).

    • Amy

I don’t know why you’re having trouble with the pork coupon. I just clicked on the “$6 off Pork wyb Kingsford Charcoal & (1) other participating product” link above and it came up for me. What message are you getting when you click on it?

    • Amy

      Try pasting: http://www.southernsavers.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/6-off-pork.pdf
into your browser and see if that will get you there.

    • JEB

      Joy post #76

Try couponmom.com or iheartsavingmoney.com for Walmart deals. They probably won’t have as many deals, just because they don’t do BOGO like Publix or Bi-lo.

    • JEB

I was able to print the FL charcoal and the Kingsford pork Qs, but they are printing strange–like they are too big for the page, so a little is cut off…nots ure if I just need to change my settings…?

    • JJ

Has anyone had problems printing the Gain coupon from Food Lion? It says, “page not found”

    • Amy

Fiber one muffin mix is not included in the sale :(

YOGOS are not in duncan, sc

    • Shannon in ATL

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I have a “Summer Grilling Palate” book with $3 off produce when you buy any Hormel Always Tender product , would probably work well with the $6 pork coupon.

The site is under construction, but Michelle’s site- Iheartpublix.com has a link for the $6 pork coupon. I also have it linked on my site (click on my name)

      **Jenny Here**
The link above has also been a pdf link hosted here on Southern Savers. So no need to travel it’s here.

    • Tarrah R.

What does HTH mean? I see it often and just cannot figure it out! :)

      • Jenny

HTH – means hope that helps :)

    • Ln

      HTH means “hope this helps.”

    • Kristan

Uh I am totally distraught! I just left my Publix here in HSV, AL and they are not doubling competitor coupons anymore…. the lady I talked to in customer service said she would double check and make sure it wasn’t a glitch in the system.

Has anyone heard of Publix not doubling competitor coupons anymore?

    • Wendy

-$1 off Kraft 2% Cheese printable (IE) or printable (FF) (makes it .66¢ ea) says “there are no coupons available for this campaign”.

    • Amy B.

Kristan, they have never double competitor coupons – only manufacturer coupons?

    • lynn

THEY DOnt get reimbersed for compeitores coupons. so they are already losing on it here in florida they dont double coupons at all we still find awsome deals at publix though ,, good luck happy couponing

    • My publix here in South west GA does not double coupons.

    • Ln

Up top where Jenny has listed the five things to remember, it says Publix doubles manufacturer coupons up to 50 cents. I’ve never heard of Publix doubling competitor coupons before. If your Publix did, then you are one lucky lady.

    • Shannon

      Quick Question:
Does Publix still double coupons that say don’t double/triple? Thanks!!!

    • Stacey W

It depends on whether the coupon starts with a 5 or 9 on the barcode. A 5 will still double unless manually stopped by the cashier. A 9 will not double.

I’ve never had a cashier at Publix STOP by coupon from doubling. I have had that happen at Bi-lo.

    • Shannon

      **DEAL** (maybe)
I have a coupon from the Publix Yellow Advantage Sale flyer that says:
Buy 1 Hidden Valley Salad Dressing (20 or 24 oz.) & get 1 Rothbury Croutons FREE
Can I combine this with a Save $0.75 on Hidden Valley Salad Dressing? (from same link as the $2 off charcoal-http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14862&nid=20&zid=fz92)

    • Shannon

      Thank you, Stacey!

    • Rachel

Shannon, you can combine a free coupon with a cents off since it’s for two different items.

    • JEB

You can see Jenny featured in the Palmetto Parent Magazine for August. You can get it free at Bi-lo. Not sure if this is a publication just for Columbia or all of SC.

    • Marie

I just went to Publix in Madison, AL and they had “GET GRILLING” flyers in the front exit. It includes $2.00 off Kingsford or Kingsford Match Light Charcoal and $1.00 off any 2 GLAD Food Storage Products. They are good until 9/15/09. Not sure if other Publix stores are posting these also.

    • Paula

My Publix (Vinings, Atlanta) did not have the Yogo’s. I asked the manager where they were, and he told me that they were discontinued. I showed him my 50cent coupons that I was excited to use to get some cheap snacks for my poor college sons, joking with him that “they’ll eat anything”. He checked out the ad to verify that the ad did in fact have Yogo’s as BOGO, profusely apologized about the error and then promptly offered to honor the coupons (including the doubling) on the BOGO Kellogg’s fruit snacks. I was able to pick up 4 boxes of Princess, John Deer Tractor, Finding Nemo fruit snacks for only 47cents a box. I hope my guys will enjoy them!

    • My Publix, Cumming, GA, refused to take the Food Lion and Harvey coupons today. They said they no longer considered them a competitor! That sucks for Publix, I won’t visiting as frequently.

    • lynn

had a good publix trip spent 15.37 saved 81.51 and had no hassles yippy

    • Julie

My Publix near Dallas, GA did not have the Yogos in stock at all. I got a raincheck for them. The manager said that Kelloggs “ran out” and that most stores did not even get them in stock for this week’s ad. They might have some in stock by next Monday or Tuesday, he said.

    • Madgie

I live in Montgomery Alabama and the Publix here has an in store special of Buy one Get one Free on Kraft Mayo.

    • Wendy

Got the pork coupon-thanks so much girls! I was worried there for a sec! :)

    • ET

JEB in #98, I am in metro ATL and our local Publix has the Coke 2L on sale for 3/$4.

    • Anne Marie

      Hi ladies,

I am very new to couponing. I have only been at it about 3 weeks now. I was wondering, you go in with a ton of coupons and how do you know that all of them were used? As I go through them, I sometimes miss one that I am looking for, couldn’t a cashier, do the same thing. I looked at my receipt and couldn’t tell which coupons were which except the store coupons. I have no idea if I got all the savings I was supposed to. Do any of you track which coupons you are using or do you just estimate how much you should spend before you go to the store using the sale prices and the coupons you have? Thanks so much! This website is amazing!

    • Leisa

      Hi Anne Marie,

I go in with a set list and exactly how much I should spend. So when I check out if the total is really off, I know before I leave that there was a problem. You can count your coupons and count the receipt, but my best advice is to have a clear amount it is supposed to add up to, pay attention to the cashier scanning the coupons, and if at the end there is a problem just ask them to move you to customer service to continue looking into it. That way you don’t feel rushed by the line behind you.

    • Jeanne

There is a young guy with blonde hair at Publix at lexington that will stop the doubling of coupons if it says not to

    • JEROME

    • lynn

i count the coupons but i also hand the coupons over in groups let say i have thre bread coupons two apple sauce coupons andtwo cereal coupons i would hand the bread coupons wait for those to scan then the bread wait for those to scan then the apple coupons wait for those to scan but i also try to go to the same cashier so they know me i never hand my coupons over before a transaction also you can do the math add up the value of your coupons and see if that was deducted good luck and welcome to world of couponing

    • Rebecca

Where is the Target Pampers Coupon in the paper? I bought 5 papers and I can’t find 1. Were they in the ads or somewhere random in the paper?

    • Anne Marie

Thanks Leisa and Lynn! That helps a lot!

    • Cat Conner

Julie #128…thanks for posting that info. Which Publix did you get tha rain check from? I tried the one in New Hope and at Lost Mountain Crossings and no luck with the Yogo’s. Good to know we can possibly get a rain check for them.

    • JEB

In today’s State Paper that was delivered, there is a $5 off $25 purchase at Piggly Wiggly. Guessing you can take to Publix. It is good for today and Saturday, 8/8/09.

Now, can you take that and also use the FL charcoal in one transaction?

    • JEB

The Piggly Wiggly coupon was a peelie on the front page.

    • Katherine

      My biggest Publix savings yet!

I spent $79.59 today at Publix, and saved $82.12! I’ve only been doing couponing for about 6 weeks now, and had been saving about 40%. Today’s savings is huge for me and shows how wasteful I was before when I didn’t even use 1 coupon. My $79.59 included Greenwise chicken sausages and meat, 2 boxes of HBOO with Pecans (free), 2 Covergirl eyeshadows (free plus), 20 jars of Earth’s Best Baby Food, and more…

Just wanted to say thank you for the great website and coupon trading platform. It really makes a huge difference.

    • Lyndsey

It looks like CVS is going to have the Purina Friskies cat food for $3.99, so if you use the $3.50 coupon link on here you can get it for $.50.

    • Heather

      Joy #77

Also try dealseekingmom.com for Wal Mart

    • Does anyone know if the Lance 100 calorie packs are definitely included in the sale? I have a few coupons I could use. Thanks!

    • Cheryl R

Thank you so much for your website. We got 8 boxes of free pasta today, with a large family, this is amazing. I come to your site everyday. You make such a difference in my grocery shopping. My family thank you too.

    • Sharon

I went to Publix in Lexington today and they said they no longer accept Target coupons. They do not consider them a competitor any more. Messed up my deals a little but still saved!

    • Celena

Publix downtown Columbia does not take Harvey’s coupons. I made the mistake of loading up before asking and I left a bitter woman. Does anyone know if the Lexington Publix accepts these coupons?

      **Jenny Here**
I don’t think any Midland’s stores will take Harvey’s. They only accept for stores that are in our area. I’m sorry, I listed them because there are many that do have both stores in their area.

    • Denise

I went to Publix today in Lexington. Used the bonus $5 off $25 from The Pig. Spent $51.61 saved $82.62, not as great as most of you, but I was thrilled! I did the charcoal deal and so did 2 of my co-workers(had to print it out for them and give them step-by-step instructions). I am going back tomorrow because 2 of my YoGos didn’t come up B1G1 and I didn’t catch it ’till I was on my way back to work, so I’ll go back and get that adjusted and do another charcoal deal. Publix in Lexington has never accepted my Target coupons. But I’m making out pretty good with the FL coupons…

    • Rebecca Pierce

Can someone PLEASE tell me where the Target Coupon is for Pampers????????

    • Kay

Rebecca, I’m in Orlando-I never saw a Target Pampers coupon. Ours were all candy coupons for target for the last couple of weeks.
CVS has good pampers deals this week though I think-and huggies next week :)

    • alisha

Went to Publix on Folly Rd. and saved a whopping $70.92. My total bill came to $51.93. I would like to give a shout out to Debbie R. the cashier who rooted me on as I saved all that money. She told me that she gets a kick out of watching customers save all that money. I visit this Publix just about once a week to save and everyone is really friendly!!

    • Angela, in Summerville, SC

The Publix manager on Old Trolley in Summerville, SC said they will continue to take Target and drugstore coupons as far as he knows. He did not seem pleased to see the Rite Aid coupon for 10% off total purchase and read the fine print re:no sale items, etc. but he did honor it for what I bought. He said they would only honor 1 $$-off coupon per purchase, such as Rite Aid’s $5-off-a-$25-purchase.

I tried putting the appropriate coupons on each item on the conveyor belt, and the cashier thanked me multiple times for doing that. It also made it easier for me to make sure that I was using all my coupons, and that they got scanned.

    • Jennifer

Just a FYI: The publix on 2732 N Lake Dr. Columbia, SC 29212-8733 does NOT take Target coupons.

    • JEB

There is a new Welch’s jelly or jam .75 off Q on coupons.com that will make them .75 with the sale.

    • Donna

To make sure all of my coupons scan, I place them with the item and the cashier always scans the item first then the coupon. The cashiers at my Pulbix’s said they love when customers place coupons with the items because it helps them out to scan them as they scan the item. This also helps me because when I look at my receipt I see the item price followed by the coupon deduction. It does take work on my part, but it does ensure that my items are scanned correctly.

    • lynn

kay can you get the st pete times there in orlando because they had the pampers coupons for target in there they also had the manf. coupons for pampmers in it

    • Susan

    • Susan

Has anyone used the 10% off Rite Aide purchase at Publix? The cashier wasn’t sure. I am saving it for a big weekly purchase if possible. I am in the Chas, sc area

    • I don’t know if this was already posted but for those of you buying EARTHS BEST baby food there are deals on their website for buy $15 dollars worth get $5 Barnes and Noble gift card and other deals when you send in the receipt.

    • Michelle

FYI – cashiers twice @ the Publix in Ooltewah TN have manually stopped my coupons from doubling if the say “do not double or triple” this week. Last week they were fine, I don’t know if they are cracking down or if it just depends on the cashier.

    • Nikki

Does the manually stopping doubling happen on certain days/times of the week? I shop at that store and haven’t noticed that. Maybe I just haven’t paid attention.

    • Jo

Teller at Publix today told me they will no longer take Food lion coupons that say their brand on them towards a publix brand.
she also turned down a $5 from Rite aid with a $5 from K-mart – said she could only take one or the other. She said they recently changed their policies – anyone else run into policy changes??

    • Michelle

In Athens, AL I had another “incident” with coupons this week. I was using two of the $6.00 off the other white meat. Here is what I had and the coupons:

2(6.00 or more) packages of pork
      2 bags of charcoal
      2 KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
      1 bottle Clorox Cleaner

      Coupons I used:
      (2) $6.00 of pork (man coupon)
      (2) $2.00 of Charcoal (Man coupon)
      (1) $3.00 of Charcoal (Food Lion coupon)
      (2) Free KC Masterpiece w/purchase of Charcoal (man coupon)
      (1) $5 of $25 Rite Aid Coupon

The cashier stopped the second pork coupon, even though we had purchased all the required items. I politely asked the cashier to explain to me why she wouldn’t accept the second one and she said only one per person per day. So I explained that I had read the coupon and it only states “one per purchase.” Management had been watching and stepped over and went through each and every coupon and then again told me I could only use one of the $6.00 off pork coupons. I asked her to explain why and she said it was only one per “transaction.” I pointed out to her that the coupon (just like the other coupons they were passing through) stated one per purchase (not transaction). She then proceeded to tell me that a transaction was the same as a purchase. I then showed her that I felt that those terms are indeed very different and if that was the case they wouldn’t let me use the other coupons I had multiples of. I also showed her the FL coupon says per purchase AND per transactions….showing her that they indeed meant different things.

The end result was that they accepted all the coupons but told me I couldn’t do it again. I don’t think a purchase is the same as a transaction. I can purchase multiple items in one transaction.

I think they are really cracking down at this publix, however, I am not sure they are cracking down in the right way….they are reimubursed for the manufacturer coupons so I was really surprised to get such a hassle – especially when it clearly did not say one per transaction.

    • My cashier at Publix told me I could use as many $5 off $25 purchases as I needed. I had over $200 at Publix, so she let me use 8 $5 off $25 Rite Aide coupons for a total of $40 off for just the Rite Aid coupons! is this right? she also told me I could use more of the $5 off CVS coupons, but I had forgotten those at home.

i hope i can do this every week!

According to the spines, the same inserts for the St. Petersberg Times are used in the Lakeland Ledger, which might be easier to find near Orlando. As an added bonus the Ledger is $0.25 cheaper than the Orlando Sentinel.

I’d be curious to see which one has better coupons overall. I guess I’ll have to buy one of each for a while and compare them.

    • Carol

This is my 2nd week working with this site, and it’s great! I’m not doing nearly as well as many of you, but last week spent $62 at Publix and saved almost $30 – we’ll see how I do this week. Thanks for this site!

    • Lena

      Breyers.com also has a printable $1.00/2 coupon.

    • David

FYI for anyone in the Inverness, Al area…Publix does not accept Food Lion or Harvey’s coupons.

    • Tamara

I just returned from Publix on hwy 6 in Irmo. They NO longer carry YOGOS and they aren’t substituting anything for what is in the ad. My 6 yr. old was VERY disappointed as she’s been waiting for them to go on sale. Maybe we can get them at Kroger ??

    • Melissa

Just returned from my Publix (Camp Creek, Atlanta, GA)

I attempted to do the Pork/Kingston/Masterpiece deal. The cashier took my coupons and read each one very carefully. She walked around the front of the store for at least 5 minutes trying to find a manager. The manager came over and advised me they could not accept the $6 off pork coupon because they only accept internet coupons up to $5 off. I asked her to put the coupon in as $5 and she agreed. She made sure to tell me I couldn’t do this again.

Left Publix with my charcoal, $6.15 in pork, barbecue sauce, and my Publix frozen pizza for about $4.00…but also left with the impression that they thought I was stealing. :(

    • Lauren

Publix on St. James in Goose Creek has peelies on the bottoms of the charcoal bags for $1 OFF! YAY! Doing my happy dance! :o)

    • kristie

Tamara.. Yes get them at Kroger this week.. They are having a great sale on yogo’s.. If you have the .50 coupon you will get them for $.50 a box if you buy 4 boxes and use 4 coupons.. Then dont forget to use the Kellogg’s coupon book for $2 off any store bread when you buy 2 boxes of yogo’s.. Kroger bread is 10 for $10 so buy 2 loaves for free!!

    • Roxann

Visited Publix on Trolley Rd in Summerville. The customer service person, Carol, told me that they take ALL competitor’s coupons and was able to use Harvey’s coupons. Was able to purchase $97 worth of groceries for $38. We grilled chicken thighs (6 total) which cost $2.12 minus my poultry coupon from Harvey’s ($2) for dinner tonight. Each thigh cost .02 for a total cost of .12 for the package. I am a firm believer in this website!! Can’t wait for next week’s deals!

    • Bonnie in ATL

      *DEAL ALERT*
Kraft coupons for Kraft American Singles and Kraft Shreds, Chunks, or Snacking were in the AJC Red Plum 8/9. Each coupon was $1 off wyb 2.

    • SarahJ

Hey good deal I found. I bought two of the Fiber One toaster pastries (use 2 .50/1 MFQs) and four covergirl single color eye shadows @ $2.99ea (used 4 $2/1 CG Publix Q and 2 $2.50/2 CG MFQs). My total was $0.46 and I saved over $17!!! Actually, they “owed” me $0.71 but tax brought me positive.. lol. Great freebie option for some great eye shadows! And the pastries were good too!!

    • Susie

Does anyone know if you can do the Fuel for School Rebate more than once?

    • Mitch

I have seen a lot of people mentioning the fact that their Publix stores have been telling them about upcoming policy changes, specifically in regards to them potentially no longer accepting competitor coupons from FL or Target.

Personally, I would find this very, very hard to believe. I would find it most hard to believe with the drugstore discontinuations (like Target, CVS, Rite Aid comp coupons, etc), because all of the Publix’ in my area have all of those drug stores literally right across the street.

Now if we were talking years back when Target did not sell groceries, I could understand this, but nowadays with the Super Targets and Super Wal-marts and the gigantic CVS stores there is REAL competition between these drug stores and Publix! Call me crazy, but I don’t ever see this happening.

    • Mitch

Susie – the Fuel for School rebate policy says ‘One request per name or household.’ So, to be legal, you would need to give your Proofs of purchase to another family member living in another house to send in multiple rebates – that would be following the law. Nothing wrong with that ;-)

    • Lauri

The Publix in Ooltewah, TN manually stops the coupon from doubling regardless of whether it starts with a 5 or 9.

      Love this site!

    • Dissappointed in help

Really must watch these cashiers very closely. Did the Kingsford/Pork/KC deal and DID NOT get my $6.00 off.

    • Tarrah R.

      ***Deal Alert****
Don’t know if this was already mentioned or not, but there is a Lays Coupon from Harvey’s for $1/1 also. Makes it a buck a bag.

    • Amy

I have seen on HCW site that there are up to 4 Fuel for School rebates! Not including the promo with Bi Lo!

    • Hi all:)
I went to my Publix today (Savannah, GA) and the Betty Crocker Supreme Muffin Mixes DID NOT include the Fiber One Muffin Mixes, even though they are a Betty Crocker Supreme Muffin Mix:( Also, my Publix was out of the Honey Bunches w/Pecans, but I got a raincheck:)

    • Shopping is a pleasure

      Hello all aagain,

Mitch # 179 In response to your post – Target,CVS, Rite Aid are not a traditional competitor – they are non traditional – All Publix in Greenville SC starting Aug 15 th will only accept competitor coupons from local traditional competitors w/in a 5 mile radius of their store – Not Target, CVS etc. even if they are across the street from them. All other cities & counties across FL, GA, SC, AL, & TN will soon be following these standards one day

    • Our Fiber 1 muffins were not included – and it’s not unusual for only certain flavors or styles to be included in the BOGO (even if something might cost the same or less).

Our store accepted the $2 Post coupons for other flavors – I was going to ask them to substitute instead of a raincheck since I made two trips in two days and they were out but I didn’t need to. DH doesn’t really like pecans anyway so this worked out better for us.

Just had a ROCKING trip – thanks so much Jenny!

My store combined a Target $2 off Pampers coupon with a Kroger/buy diapers and wipes get $2 off and the manufacturer’s for $1 off diapers and free wipes. I bought:

Diapers (check the packages, they’re cutting back from 30 to 27 diapers)
3 boxes Post cereal (would have been 4 but had tons of trouble printing $2 coupon)
2 boxes Fiber One pop tarts
      gallon milk
      Publix pizza
      Total before coupons: $39.22
      After coupons/special: $7.80
      Saved 80%!!!!

    • AngelaDH

FYI-The Publix in Oolewah is out of the BOGO Kraft Shredded Cheese. They were short-changed on their order. :( Get a rain check! :) There is also I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter blinkie. :)

    • JEB

Has anyone done the pork/KC Masterpice/charcoal deal with FL coupon in the Lexington, SC or Gervais St. store? I may have to get my hubby to do it on the way home from work. He is not the expert like me…

    • Dale

JEB, when my hubby did this at the Forest Lakes store they charged him $3.00 for the FL coupon, instead of deducting it. Of course, I went back in and got it easily corrected, but I know what you mean when you rely on someone else to manage the purchases! :>)

    • Toni

You posted that you could get .50 cent coupons off of gatorade at gas stations and I was wanting to know at which gas stations. I went to three today (QT, Cheveron and BP) and none of them had them.

    • Beth

I went to publix on Central, in summerville, sc. and they have changed their coupon policy! They pretty much took NONE of my coupons…and just a heads up…the coupon for Cambells soup is for “COOKING SOUP” which is totally different (APPARENTLY) than the ones that are on sale! I thought soup was soup…but I guess not! They fought me on just about EVERY coupon! So heres a heads up for the fellow southern savers in the knightsville/summerville area!

    • Ashley

Anyone have any luck finding the “Raise Your Hand” booklet?? I have looked at two different Publix and neither had a clue what I was talking about… I’m in the Atlanta Area.

      Please fill me in!!

    • Patty

I just wanted to let you know that I am a Publix employee. Every day I deal with people cheating the system and trying to use multiple coupons for the same item. Their idea of stacking is using 3 coupons for the same item and was blessed out for this just last night.

We have told by corporate that since there is no Food Lion even within 100 miles of my local store they cannot be considered a competitor. We were told to only accept competitors coupons from traditional grocery store in our area. This is going to be happening company wide and are trying very hard to establish one policy that can be used at every store and not allow each store, or cashier, to interpret the competitor coupon rule.

To the person that was allowed to use multiple Rite Aide coupons in one order, that will probably not happen again. The last person that I know of that did it at my store is still employed at Publix but has been changed to a bagger after his suspension was over. This person definitely stepped over the line of rules we are to follow.

I think that I personally do an awesome job with customer service. I give out this website multiple times a day. I thank you for all of your hard work.

    • Tammy

There is a .50/1 Oral-B Pulsar, Cross Action, ADVANTAGE, or Two Indicator Toothbrushes from the P&G insert. This makes the Advantage toothbrush .89…not sure if that’s the cheapest you can get one…but with 5 of us in the house and two avid toothbrush chewers it sounded good to me!

    • Corrie

I tried the Charcoal/pork/bbq sauce deal at my Publix (Huntsville, AL) today and was told that Publix would only take internet coupons up to $5. I see here that other stores accepted this coupon. Does anyone know if that is a corporate policy, or how I could check that out?

Has anyone in the Huntsville area been able to use this coupon at their store?

      Thanks so much!

    • JEB

Mrs. Paul’s 44 count fish sticks are on advantage buy for $3.99. With the printable $3 off coupon, they were .99!

    • Lynne

I got the Nabisco $55 throughout the school year coupon book and it has a $1.00 off of any nabisco multi- packs. It says for September only in fine print on the front. Basically could I use these now or will the coupon really not let me use them until September.

    • Anna

Did anyone find the Yogos? If so what were they located near? I have checked 2 stores and didn’t see them in either one. I see that several other people have not been able to find them so I just wondered if we were looking in the right place.

    • Humiliated and Frusterated

My store’s Yogo’s were gone as well. Was told that none shipped for this sale. Odd.

My store also informed me of the ‘new coupon policy’ as well. I completely do understand why this must happen; (though PATTY, it isn’t because of abuse- it’s because of too many people calling to complain about inconsistencies between Publix’s, but I can see how one might think it would be from abusers)- My problem is, I went in knowing my budget, knowing how much I would be spending. When $31 of my coupons were not accepted, it threw me for a loop. Not only that, I had my children (3 and 5) with me and waited for at least a half hour for them to scrutinize my every coupon as well. If they are going to change a rule, don’t do it suddenly to completely throw people off like it did myself and many of us so far- Hand out a flyer, put it in the weekly ad, put it in HUGE BOLD LETTERS right when you walk into the store so that it doesn’t mess up your entire order when you go to check out (poor guy behind me-had like 10 items and waited the 30 minutes for my order to complete!). I will be calling corporate tomorrow to let them know (politely) how frusterateing and completely underhanded I feel this is. Not only have I already wasted 2 hours of my time shopping for things I wouldn’t have gotten had I known the coupons would not be accepted, NOW I have to figure out (from the coupons not accepted) what items to take back to make it back to my budget. I LOVE Publix, and know that I will still be able to save a lot of money with acceptable coupons, I know they’re customer service is top notch (well- usually!), I was just taken by surprise tonight, and I want them to know that it wasn’t very professional to just, without warning, change policy when last week all of my coupons were accepted without hesitation. Good Luck to all of you and God Bless!

    • I just wanted to tell everyone whose store is no longer doubling coupons.
Be grateful they were in the first place because FL does not double and when I look at the deals and in parenthesis it says (will be $.49) it really isnt. So we get the bad end of things at Publix. We still get great deals, but we dont get doubles.
So please be grateful that you once had it and think about those who never did.

    • JEB-#197 where did you find the printable for the fish sticks?

Has anyone shopped at the public on Whitemarsh Island, near sav? We will be visiting there this weekend, and I wanted to know if they take competiors coupons.

    • MB

I tried to use the -$1 off Lance 100 Calorie Pack coupons but the cashier and the service mgr told me 100 Calorie Packs were not included in the sale. hmmm…

    • JEB

Here is where I got the Mrs. Paul’s coupon…

      SmartSource has a $3/1 and a $1.50/1 Mrs. Paul’s printable coupon available(use zip 30013 if you don’t see them).

    • JEB

There is supposed to be Van de Kamp’s fish stick coupons available also on Smartsource. $3/1 & $1.50/1 Van de Kamps coupon while you are there (zip 77477)

    • Thanks JEB!

    • Humiliated – I would call corporate. Our store is very focused on customer care, and they would at least have let you slide by one last time since you did not know. Of course the stores need to make money, but it’s nice to know you are respected as a shopper and not just a wallet.

Pampers coupons are always in the P & G inserts (or is it PG & E?) if it was printed in your area.

Jenny, if there’s a prize for being cheap (frugal?) – I get it tonight. I just cut a frozen penny pizza in half with kitchen shears! The kids can’t eat a whole one and you know those things can’t be reheated. I’m blushing as I type!

    • Carolin

Can someone please explain the pork deal. I’ve read on other sites that it creates overage, but they never say where to get the coupons.

I got close to free fruit today. I used the $2 off $5 Harvey, $1 off 1lb apple target, and 50 cents off a bunch of bananas target. I love this site. Jenny thank you for all you do.

    • sarah OC

Just FYI- The Betty Crocker Fiber One Muffin Mix is not B1G1 at the Publix in Summerville, SC, so the coupon listed above does not apply
