The HT coupons say 'cannot be combined with Man. q for the same item.' I'm wondering if they can be used with the evic items though.
Also on these 2 evics my email says must buy 2 items to receive sale price.

      • deb

i dont understand – are they saying you cannot use any coupons during your trip – says not to combine with the manufactures c's but how would they know what you are using it for ?

        • bridget

You can use coupons and still use the $5/$40 total order coupon, just not stack a manufacturer coupon with the 50 cents or $1 ones. The computer might not know, but your cashier would when you ended up with more coupons than items!

    • didou

Publix on East West connector – South Cobb drive is discontinuing some sunscreen. You will find them in the discontinuing section. You can even use your coupon from their green booklet ($2 off of coppertone product). Makes it $2

Received the Harris Teeter Coupons in the Raleigh News and Observer as well.
And it doesn't look like you can stack them.

      • Jeri

Where did you see them in the Observer? I just looked through my entire paper and the only thing I see is on page 8B a full color ad for whole beef tenderloin, Breyer's ice cream, asparagus, lobster tails and butter. No coupons at all :(

    • Helen

Bi-Lo: Buy and three Suave products and receive a coupon for a free Suave product at checkout. Offer valid on a singe transaction from 3/17 – 3/30, one coupon per transaction. Offer excludes deodorant.

Also saw an add for McCormick’s spices and food coloring, between 3/19 – 4/11, buy 2 and get $1.50 coupon, buy 3 and get a $2.50 coupon. I think there’s a McCormick’s coupon out there somewhere too. (Maybe coupons.com ?)

    • the7ofus

Hmmm, I don't live in Charleston but can get the Charleston paper. I'm wondering if we could use these at the Hilton Head Harris Teeter?? What is the triangle area?

      • carolinagirl1025

Not having actually seen these yet, usually when in the Charleston are we refer to the TRI COUNTY which is Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. I havent heard it be called the triangle area

      • bridget

In NC, Triangle area is Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill. hth

    • ywardlaw

Food Lion also has pet coupons posted. One was $1.00 off Rachel Ray Nutrish… Some may still have the $2.00 mfg coupons to stack…

I have a question. What is the formula to figure out the percentage you saved? I tried a few ways to figure it out, but I must be missing something!

      • PalmettoStateSaver

Add up your total spent and total saved (to get your total value of purchase). Then divide your total spent by your total value – and multiply by 100. HTH! :)

      • dgram41

(Total Saved divided by Total Worth) X 100 will give you the percent you saved. ex: Spent $20 on $80 worth of groceries (implied savings of $60) …. (60/80)*100 = 75% saved

Total Spent divided by Total Worth gives you how many pennies you spent for each $1 worth of groceries. ex: Spent $20 on $80 worth of groceries (implied savings of $60) …. 20/80 = .25 (or 25 cents spent per $1 worth of groceries)

        Take care!

    • aliciash

I found this great deal today for body wash. My Dollar General had the Olay Fusion Body Wash on clearance for $1.25 minus the $1.00 off coupon from the 3/7 PG made it .25 each for great body wash. I stocked up on these a couple of weeks ago when they were $1.87 and they smell great. I submitted for the $15 Olay rebate so should be a great moneymaker.

    • Lauren

DR PEPPER 12 packs on sale and part of CVS ECB deal.

I didn't see this as part of the listed deals, but Dr Pepper 12 packs are ringing up at $3.00 instead of $5.49 and it is producing a Pepsi Buy 4, Get 3 ECB with one deal allowed before offer limit reached. For a grand total of 4 12-packs for $9.00 or $2.25 apiece with no coupons.

      • Amy B.

I found buy 3 get 1 free DP 12 pack tearpads at publix!

my Walgreens didn't have a rebate on the Post cereal and they were out of the $1.75 shredded wheat, but they did have a slightly smaller box for only $1 which is fine because it's just me and my husband and our stockpile of cereal is good
Buy (4)boxes of Shredded Wheat ($1.00 each)
      Use (2) 2.00 off printables
      Use (1) $1.00/2
      Total: 1.00 money maker

    • doitmyselfmom

AWESOME deal today at Winn Dixie—4 TOTALLY free toothbrushes! They had the “Oral B Advanced” TWO packs on sale for $4.49 (same as the singles) AND they were B1G1. Then I used my P & G coupon for B1G1 from the paper last Sunday which made BOTH two-packs totally free!

    • noleinfla

      • carolinesurfs

I just came back from the Goose Creek Publix, and had no problems other than a manager override. I didn't realize they couldn't be stacked, but I used them all on things with no mfc anyways.

        I got:
        2 Publix iodized salt (0.99/2, used 2 0.50/1)
2 J&J gauze pads (used mfc and Publix q)
        potted Basil ($2, used $1 off $2)
        Lays ($2, used $1 off $2)
        Strawberries ($2.50, used $1 off $2)
        Melons ($2.29, used $1 off $2)
        Publix chocolate syrup (used 0.50/1)
        Publix bread (used 0.50/1)

After $3/$15 Rite Aid coupon, I ended up spending $4.27. What fun!!!

    • asteelman

My best Publix deal this week…BOGO Land O' Lakes spread price at my store $1.89 for two. I had several .50 coupons off, so I got .05 and .04 cents back on each one.

    • dwaynejenn46

Last week I got a coupon in a home mailer for Publix to try a free Greek Yogurt. I used that with a printable 30 cents off manufacture coupon and got overage.

    • Amy

My Food Lion has Closeout Deals on a variety of Pantene products @ $2.09 each. Used $3/2 Pantene coupon from 03/07 Sunday insert and they cost me $0.59 each !

    • lucy2778

My Publix has a sales rack. They had Gillette deodorants for $1.75 (bought 2, used $4/2, plus used coupons for free bodywash…. final price: made 50 cents from buying 2 deodorants and 2 bodywashes. Crazy!), John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioners $3.75 (used $3/1 from 3/07, final price $0.75 each), Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioners $2.00 (used $3/2, final price $0.50 each), Fructis Hair Gel $1.45 (used $1/1 from 2/28, final price $0.45)…

I also LOVED the free Birds Eye Steamfresh veggies this week, we are still eating them… they were almost free after Publix and manf. coupons from 3/07 newspaper.

    • zacko343

I hit 3 Publix store today and couldn't find the deals above. I live in the Irmo area. Suggestions?

      • 3monkeysmom

Those deals were probably specific to that store. Usually when stores put things on clearance, you will only find it at that store. I saw alot of Physician's Formula make-up at one Target and looked at another and it was still full price there. I'm not sure what triggers one store to discount it but not another.

        • zacko343

I actually stumbled across this deal at CVS today. They had the deodorant on clearance ($2.25 – $2.75) and Buy 2 get $4 off used the Buy 1 deodorant and get a Body Wash free. So I grabbed 2 deodorants and 2 body washes and spent $2.50 after tax.

          • 3monkeysmom

            Not bad at all :-)

    • shelby43
