I love weeks at Rite Aid where it all ends up being FREE! I’m excited that we had one of those weeks last week and we get another one next week!!

The $20 +UP WYB $100 in “Buy & Save” products is still running this week. It’s a limit one per card and goes through 1/22/11, so you don’t have to buy it all this week (but keep your receipts just in case there are issues).

If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below and help others find them too!

The Aveeno rebate form says “clensing bar purchases are excluded from this offer,” so your scenarios that include bar soaps would not work.

      • The (3) Clean & Clear items qualify you for the rebate. The bar is just thrown in to get you over the $25 mark for the +UP reward.

      • Erin

I wish I could find the bar soaps. None of our local Rite Aids carry them.

    • Mommysauls

I can't find the -$4 off $20 Beauty Care purchase coupon??? Help please..

      • ChrissyPunkin

This is through Rite Aid's video values on their website. You have to get 15 credits by watching beauty product commercials and then you can go to “my rewards” to print out the $4 off $20 coupon.

      • Giggles Tara

You have to watch all of the “video values” under the “beauty” tab before you qualify for the coupon.

      • elg8375

You have to watch the beauty videos and earn credits inorder to print the coupon.

      • Mommysauls

        thanks everyone!

    • ChrissyPunkin

I'm not finding the rebate. What am I doing wrong?

    • Morgan

“Internet/Print at Home coupons ? Rite Aid will accept internet / print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off. ” Corporate RA coupon policy- therefore the $6 coupon used for the Tylenol Precise scenario won't work.

      • Blah

That would totally ruin this senario for me.

      • Mmmdraco

I wonder if they might still take it because its only $3 off each item. The wording there is a little tricky where they threw in the “equivalent value”.

      • Beck

I'd try it anyway. It really depends on your Rite Aid store and how coupon friendly they are. I've used a $10 Internet manufacturer's coupon for Alli at 2 of my local RiteAids and they both took them no problem. My local RiteAids (Kernersville & Walkertown, NC) are awesome for customer service, love them!

        • Morgan

I appreciate the insight, but I am not going to try it. I only go to one RiteAid because I love the employees there and I would not want to try something that might get them in trouble down the line. Hopefully I will get the same coupon that is scheduled for the SS insert in tomorrows paper and I can still get the deal!

      • Liz

Wouldn’t they just adjust it down to $5 and the deal is still pretty great?

    • Amysbrock

Today I found toys on clearance in Rite-Aid for 75%. Picked up 2 Animal Planet dinosaurs, they move, make sounds and the eyes light up. Only paid $4.99 each! Putting them away for my boys Valentine's gifts!

    • Carrie_C

I need some help :) I don't understand the bogof coupon when the item is bogof to get all for free. I want to be able to explain it to the cashier just in case but mostly so I understand! LOL TIA!!

      • Fvtest01
      • Let's say RA is having a B1G1 sale on product A.
You put 2 of them in your buggy.
        They scan them-
        Product A $10
Product A $0 (because the store is giving you it free)
        Then they scan the coupon
-$10 because the manufacturer promised to pay the store for your item

The store isn't losing any money the manufacturer is paying them.

        • melly

i cant belive i have been using 2 bygo coupons with a bygo sale i have been jipping myself LOl

      • Webby

Check out the Rite Aid official coupon policy. It clearly states that you can use a B1G1 free coupon with a B1G1 free sale and get both items free ;)

    • mt

Is the Aveeno rebate for a coupon for lotion or $9.99 (actual money)?

    • The Aveeno rebate is not in the form of a check. It's buy three products, and get a COUPON in the mail for a free Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion, so it won't be a money-maker, but you could still end up with it almost free!

    • Amber Renee

currently, there is a coupon available on coupons . com for hormel compleats. print 2 and 2 will be free with RA Q and up reward.

      • wolverinehokie

        Thanks for posting this!

    • Livin Life

I received my resolution reward this week, it came like an up reward at the bottom of my receipt. I only paid $6.87 out of pocket. Thanks so much Jenny!!!!

    • jhh

Is the Clean & Clear Scrub 5 oz., $4.99 regular price or discount price? TIA

    • wolverinehokie

This is actually a comment to Jenny. When I try and select a category on the smartsource coupons, I can’t press the “go” button so it never sorts. I always end up going directly to smartsource.com instead, but I’d like to do it through this site since I know Jenny gets a small amount of credit for coupons printed through her site.

      • Hey there,

For me I'm on a Mac and the go button has never worked on their site no matter where I am but if you select the brand you want and then hit enter it will still sort it. Hope that helps!

      • Donna

The same thing happens to me, but only if I'm using Firefox as my browser. If I open the same page in Internet Explorer, the selection / go button works perfectly (I also like to reach Smart Source through Southern Savers since Jenny's helped me save SO much, my little way of contributing). Maybe that will help! :)

    • Anonymous

      I can’t find the B1G1 Stayfree q on coupons.com. Can anyone help?

    • Coach A

The Hormel Compleats dinner for $1.99 has a 0.50 video coupon, but on coupons.com there is a 0.75 coupon on 1. Couple that with $1UP reward and it is a small moneymaker. (The dinners taste good in my opinon.)

      • Queenjennifer87

It also MAY print the $1 +u opn the monthly deal. Making it a larger moneymaker. I will be doing a bunch of these (I have 35+ups to work with), 8 stayfree, 2 finish 20ct, 2 dispensers (if included), pasta, sause, kleenex, ect and should have enough for my resolution reward (I did airwick this week, and am at 65)

        • Tn_suttons

Special K BIGI is also printing out an extra $1 Up with each box.

      • Bryarsmom

I've got some of the .75 ones myself :)
        DH eats them.

      • Tn_suttons

What zip code did you use? Having a hard time locating it!

    • Valerie

Say I get 4 boxes of kleenex, which are BOGO. Can I still use a $1 off wyb 4 coupon? Or are the 2 I actually pay for, the only ones counted? Thanks!

      • Webby

Yes, you can use the $1/4 if you buy 4 boxes. The sale price is B1G1 so you're still technically buying 4.

    • Jjfrugalfriends

So on the stayfree pad you can use both a BOGO coupon and 1 $1 coupon? I've had problems using both coupons at other stores before. I know normally there isn't but is there a limit on how many times you can do this and get up rewards each time?

      • Faye

What I do is hand them the $1 off coupon first. The BOGO coupon always beeps because they have to enter in the amount of that coupon. The $1 off comes off the package of Stayfree you are not getting for free. Hope this helps!

    • Magiclady852000

Thank you so much for your weekly listings!!!! I cannot find teh $9.99 Aveeno rebate form. What zip code should I search under.

      Thank you!

      • Donna

I'm not seeing the rebate form either. Anyone have a zip code (the link in the original post goes to Smart Source – is that correct?) or a link??

    • Gabriela

Does anybody know if rite aid excepts expired coupons? I heard there are some stores like Publix do.

      • Bamabobbie

        Not for me.

    • Drseusnc

can someone please tell me the zip for the $6 off 2 tylenol or motrin products? thank you

      • Bamabobbie

I'm sorry don't remember the zip I used because whatever came up was what I used. Didn't have to change if.

      • Gabriela

I just opened the link and didn't type any zipcode and it was there, first page!
        Hope it helps!

      • Eddieexpedition

        30120

    • Jennifer

I saw in my Rite Aid on Thursday in front of the Special K cereal, there was a tag stating that a $1 UP reward for every box purchased. The end date on the tag was for 1/22. So that makes it an almost $2 money maker if you use the BOGO coupon and then get 2 $1 UPs.

    • mmmdraco

The Breathe Right strips can make you a bit more profit! Walmart has tearpads on the displays right in front of their pharmacies to try one free. Other places might have that display too, but I saw it at Walmart yesterday.

      • Wdra0632

Walgreens gave me a catalina for a free breathe right strips this week can i use this at rite aid?

        • Mmmdraco

I don’t think so. Rite Aid doesn’t take competitor coupons. But you can still use it at Walgreens and then do the rebate to make it a moneymaker.

    • Laura

Zip Code for the $6/2 Motrin or Tylenol product please …

      • wolverinehokie

I don't have a working zip code, but in the free mailed smartsource that I received last week there was a $6/2 coupon.

        • wolverinehokie

          Actually, 32904 worked for me.

      • Mjclark1977

I saw this on a previous post and it worked for me: delete your internet browsing history, and do not put a zip code. The coupon should be there after that.

      • Eddieexpedition

        30120

    • Thedrakesx4

Rite Aid's coupon policy states that they will accept an internet printable coupon up to $5 off. So, wouldn't that make the $6/2 Motrin coupon unusable there?

      • wolverinehokie

My guess is $6/2 is considered $3 off 1 just in terms of that policy. At least that is how I would argue it.

        • Katie

That coupon is supposed to be in the paper tomorrow anyway.

          • Sarah B.

I got the early edition of the paper & it's definitely in there! Along with a bunch of other great ones including motrin & the tylenol patch making them at least free!

      • RebeccaFer

I am pretty sure this coupon will be denied too. The coupon policy clearly states that any internet coupons may not exceed $5 in value. Too bad because this would be really nice.

    • Tina

The collectible book offer for Johnson and Johnson first-aid products is expired.

    • Vnfranklin

When it say “In Ad Coupon” are you referring to the Rite Aid circular or the the flu shot coupon book they were offering at one time? (Which I was unable to get).

      • Val

Circular. The flu shot book's coupons are now expired.

        • VNFRANKLIN

          THANKS!!!!

    • is it true that RA will not accept internet coupons over $5?

      • guest

It is true. It is listed on their website under corporate coupon policy.

    • Isca_1

Can't find the 6/2 coupon. I have tried several zips and no luck. Anyone with a good zip for me? Thanks!

      • me either:( guess we're out of luck…anyways I don't think RA will accept IP over $5 at least thats what their coupon policy states.

        • Val

The coupon will be in tomorrows smartsource insert.

      • Eddieexpedition

        try 30120 … worked for me…

      • TheChapleigh

        27376 just printed fine….

    • Gabriela

If anybody is looking for the pediacare coupon, it is listed on Jenny's list as ss 12/05. I found mine in the red plum insert.

    • Rachel

Heads up riteaids policy is to only take internet printed coupons up to 5 dollars.

    • Tammie

Please explain. In the scenarios Jenny posted, the $4 off $20 is used more than once. I think it will only print once, correct? So how is it used more than once? I noticed one of the Best of Beauty deals was posted at the bottom, working toward the 100, as well as in the Best of Beauty for 10 UP. Confused on why it is shown twice.

      Thanks,
      Tammie

      • wolverinehokie

She is saying you can do 1 deal or the other, depending on what you need and how much of a money maker you want it to be. The products count towards the Best of Beauty $10 +UP. The bottom scenario is one option of doing multiple deals to get free stuff and work towards the 100.

        • Tammie

Olay, so it is separate deals. But, in the Best of Beauty $10 Up for $25, it shows using the $4 off of $20 in the 2 deal scenarios. How can that be done?
          Thanks for answering my ??.

          Tammie

        • Tammie

I already posted again, but have looked back over the Best of Beauty deals. I see now that they are listed as “deals” (I thought she used the Ups from the 1st deal, on the 2nd deal. Yes, I do wear glasses! Ha), whereas the bottom of the post is listed as numbered “transactions.” And I just had an eye exam this week and don't need a new prescription! You can laugh!

    • Chris

So the only mail in rebate for Aveeno is for a free lotion, correct? I really thought the way the deals read that you are getting money back on the rebate.

    • Nichols_again

I have two of the Special K b1g1…does that mean I can get 4 boxes? We eat that stuff like crazy at my house.

      • yes, that is what I am planning on doing!

      • Queenjennifer87

Yes. My stores don't carry that brand that is thr=e free box, so I got mine for free at publix. But, if you buy 4, you can also use the $1/2 coupon from last sundays paper. :)

    • Stephanie in Bham

Jenny, can you please let me know how to get the $9.99 rebate for the Aveeno. Apparently I am totally missing the mark as I only saw the form for the coupon and didnt see any wording about getting the money instead. Thanks

      • It is not a cash rebate, but a coupon rebate.

    • Coach A

I noticed that in the scenarios the $4 of $20 coupon was used to buy beauty items. Even though we watched the beauty videos to earn the coupon, the coupon can be used in any purchase, or at least thats how I used mine with no problems whatsoever.

    • Thanks for the matchups I just worked out to get about $100 worth of stuff for $3.66 in 1 transactiom ! PLUS hopefully meet my Resolution Rewards $100 to get $20 extra in UP+ on top of the $26 I will already get back!

      • Lovescoupons

What are scenario are you doing?

        • SM

Click the name and you can see scenerio on their site.

    • Alevans85

Does anyone know if Riteaid and Riteaid/Savealot stores are the same? I went this week to pick up some things from the Riteaid/Savealot store (greenville) but they didn't carry most of what was on sale that I wanted.

      • They are not the same. The stores that are Savealot stores will not run the same ad deals.

    • Nichols_again

ok…my next question would be…if I have two of the $4 q's from watching the videos can I used them in two scenarios? I was thinking about rolling the first aveeno idea into the second

      • Nichols_again

also…one of my q's is from my husbands card, would I have to use his card to check out?

        • Tigergrl08

no you would not. you can use any card

          • Nita Royal

Have you tested that for sure? Since the new coupons print my name on them, I've presumed that they would only work on my card. Thanks!

            • Tigergrl08

Yes. I use my boyfriends on my card all the time.

      • Bamabobbie

I don't see the $4. off coupon on adperks?? What am I missing?

        • Nichols_again

you have to watch all of the beauty videos and then it comes up under “my rewards”

        • Ashley

You have to watch like 15 of those beauty videos now to get the coupon. And no, the beauty videos do not get you any beauty coupons.

          • Bamabobbie

            Thanks Ashely and Nichol.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Yes, you can use the $4 coupon in two separate transactions where the subtotal is at least $20 before tax and coupons. :-) They do not have to be used on beauty products–I used one to buy pictures.

    • Tina

I have a question… To get a $10 UP with $25 purchase, does the $25 have to be BEFORE or AFTER all of my coupons on the required products?

      • wolverinehokie

        Before

    • Bamasaver

I ran in to my RA this afternoon to see if they still had any of the 200-ct Kleenex–on sale through today for 99 cents. I saw a yellow tag hanging under them that seemed to indicate that the sale price was/is in effect from 12/26 – ??? — not sure what the end date was, but it wasn't today. Anyone have any info on this????

    • Julie0920

This will be my 1st shopping trip to RA….does anyone know if you can purchase the items listed as Deal Idea #2 and get the $10 UP both times?????

      • Julie0920

I meant to type can you purchase Deal Idea #2 two times and still get the $10 UP each time?

    • Kpinanutshell

how do i get my scr????

      • wolverinehokie

Go to riteaid.com and click on the link for SCR. Sign up for an account if you don’t have one. Then enter your receipt information.

      • Go to the Riteaid(dot)com website and look for the link for “video values”. You'll enter your receipt AFTER you shop. It will ask for your transaction # and other details found on your receipt. At the end of the month, they will send you a check in the mail for your rebate. It's THAT easy!

    • Ginaod2000

Hi Everyone! I am not new to couponing, but I am confussed about something. The up rewards that print, how do I know if I can purchase multiples of an item & know how many ups I can get back. I looked on the riteaid website & didn't find that. I thought there was a limit on them? I have purchased diapers before & only received ups for 1 not the other packs. I asked the cashier & they said you could only get the rewards once per card. I am seeing lots of comments & also matchups where you are getting ups multiple times. Does anyone know about this policy? Thanks for your time!

      • wolverinehokie

The only real way is to look closely at the ad. Jenny usually posts when there is a limit (it will say limit x next to the deal), but some times she misses it. Most of the +UP deals seem to not have limits while most of the SCR deals are limit 1. However, that is not always the case.

      • Hi!. Personally, I only depend on getting 1 per card per item unless the ad states “limit #”. That typically signals the green light for me to buy more. I hope that helps!

    • Tplcandles

On my adperks rewards is it showing 0 credits & i have watched 6 videos. Do they not give the coupons $ off amount anymore?

      • wolverinehokie

Only the beauty items give credits now and they are not for coupons. It's not clear if the reward ($4 off $20) is for just beauty items, or all items, but the coupon says “$4 off a $20 purchase” so I personally think it can be used like the previous coupons. Look in the Beauty Items tab for the videos with credits.

        • Nita Royal

You are correct – it works just like the previous $4 off 20. My mother and I both used ours today, with no problem (purchasing NO beauty items.)

        • GAmommyof3

I used the $ off $20 the other day on a regular purchse and did not even realized it was supposed to be for beauty.

      • Bamabobbie

That really confussed me to until someone explained it today.

      • Aimee

I think they were having problems with the site before. I actually watched all the videos and didn't have a problem until I tried printing them. My printer spit out page after page of some sort of weird coding, I had to cancel the printing because it kept going. My account said I had already printed them, so I was bummed! Happy ending – I emailed support, and it took a couple of days, but I got a very nice email with an apology and they reset them for me! I had no problem printing them after that.

      • Ahjustice

Only on beauty products this month. Watch the videos that say 1 credit. Get 15 credits and it will print a $4 off $20 of beauty products. However, I think it is scanning just like the old $4 off $20 purchase on anything.

    • Hisgracereachesme

OK so I've read all the comments up to here and I don't understand one thing. Assuming that my Rite Aid will accept my $6/2 coupons, how is this deal free? It says to use 2 of these coupons, but wouldn't that mean I need to buy 4 products?
My thinking on this Tylenol $5 each. So I buy 2 = $10 Use $6/2 coupon making it $4 get $3 UP. Doesn't that make it like paying $1 for both?

      • Sbranan7

It is for Motrin or Tylenol precise…the Tylenol is $5 and then Motrin is $3 for a total of $8. With the $6/2 coupon and 2UP rewards, you come out even.

      • Triplettk

        It's a money maker because you'll get a $3 +UP for each Tylenol you buy. Buy 2 = $10 – $6 coupon = $4 – two $3 +UP = you make $2.

        • Hisgracereachesme

          Thank you!

    • Mrstanner07

I have tried several times to pull up the $4 off of $20 coupon to print it and it never shows up on the adperk/riteaid side. Has anyone else had trouble getting this?

      • Stacy

I just qualified for the beauty bonus but when I went to print it, the site is saying that I already printed it. It is showing up under the December coupons on the rewards page. Pretty annoyed that I wasted all that time watching those videos…

        • Tigergrl08

If you click the link that you had a problem printing coupons, Rite Aid will reset that coupon for you. Takes a couple days but they are great about getting back to you and resetting them should you ever have a problem!!

        • Sis2

Refresh your screen and try again. Once you go in to print the January coupons, it takes a bit for them all to appear. Maybe you were trying to reprint an old Dec coupon. So just refresh and try again.

      • Deena

You have to view almost all of the videos under the beaty tab to get the coupon. It took me forever.

    • Twinkielou1968

Just got my resolution reward!!! First one at me RA!!! Can't wait to use it

    • Foolzcoupons

Are the $6 off 2 Tylenol coupons gone or do I need a different zip code?

      • Tigergrl08

They are still there. Look closely they are in a group pictured with several other products under personal care.

      • Lauramatt123

Rite Aid WILL NOT accept the printed $6 off 2 coupon. Their poilicy is no internet coupons over $5.

        • Trotter2737

You are correct. I just read their coupon policy…”Rite Aid will accept internet / print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off. The $6 off 2 q's won't be accepted.

          • Rachee17

I used 2 of the $6/2 coupons this morning with no problem. Didn't realize the policy…oh well

    • So READY FOR TOMORROW !

    • Babydoll

At Rite Aid when something is B1G1 do you need to buy both items? Or will the first one be half off?

I am new at couponing but am struggling to find any really good deals for me. Maybe I just don't use the same products as everyone else.I can only find a few deals that work for me. For example, in the transaction samples, I don't use motrin or tylenol precise cream nor do I eat 1 let alone 4 boxes of special k. how can i save a ton of money if none of the products I use go on sale? do you guys buy things that you don't use just so you can earn UP rewards?

      • Ashley

Yep, buy what you don't need to get what you do need. If you use the $6/2 q for motrin pm, you make $4 after up reward. It all adds up. It's like a gold mine here, lol. Donate your items to shelters and food banks. What food bank would pass up cereal?

And yes, you need to buy both items on b1g1. One rings up full price, the other free.

      • Rachellittle

Cereal also has a pretty long shelf life. Remember you are buying up food to last for at least 6 wks.

      • wolverinehokie

Also if you buy the “money makers” like Special K and Motrin, you can you those +UP on things you do need and donate the cereal and Motrin to food banks. Food banks always want cereal and pain killers.

    • Mizmeechie

just read the rebate for the aveeno and you actually receive a coupon for a free lotion not money back… still a good deal buy not a money maker.

    • Gepedo

If I am correct, I don't believe the math is correct on transaction #2. Total OP should be $10.95 as two cereals must be paid for.

      • Amy

NO…..RA gives you one for free and the manufacturer does.

    • Swpw123

Quick ?…when doing the scenarios do you take into account tax? I live in NC and have tried to do the scenarios just as posted several times and they never work out…would love to try again but the tax seems to keep messing me up….any ideas? Thanks…

      • wolverinehokie

She does not take tax into account. When you need totals, it's total before tax. (For example, if the deal is get $10 +UP wyb $25 worth of stuff, it's $25 before tax) Also +UP can not be used for tax. Therefor your out of pocket is going to probably be $1-$3 more than what is listed.

        • Swpw123

So most folks who get it down to pennies must be in low tax states? Was just wondering if you were supposed to give them coupons first then ups? I guess you have to, so you can know how many ups to use….Still learning – thanks so much…

    • Stephmartin25

my riteaid ad doesn't offer the aveeno sale. Does anyone know if alabama has a different ad than everywhere else

      • wolverinehokie

Did you try at 2am this morning? Because the deal starts today. Riteaid(dot)com will have your ad if you want to check.

      • Mandi

Yep, I have made the mistake of shopping in AL on occasion and you guys always seem to have different ads for some reason… :-(

      • Bamasaver

AL doesn’t have the same ad as Jenny uses. I always pull up our ad (by zip code) on Sunday morning to see what’s really on sale here before making my trip. HOWEVER, sometimes some of the “national” deals are in effect (signs are posted on the shelves) even when not in our ad.

    • Millerjam109

$6/2 Q is for 25 count or larger. motrin pm on sale is for 20 ct.

      • Courtney

that isnt how I read the coupon, i read it as 25 ct or larger on the zyrtec, no comma before or larger after it says zyrtec 25 ct but a comma after larger before it starts naming other items.

    • Nichols_again

Anyone know where I can find the aveeno mail in rebate…it's no longer available under my zip code

      • Courtney

        just checked its under 90210

        • Nichols_again

          still couldn't find it…bummer

          • Courtney

its kinda hard to see, just look for a big bottle of lotion for the picture

            • Nichols_again

I found it and you will never believe the cluster I managed to get into…got home and one of my Clean and Clear was busted so I took it back and got another one but they kept my receipt which I needed for the rebate…SUCKS!

            • Call them and explain the situation, and they may be willing to give it back to you.

          • Guest

Look under 90210. Page 2. It clearly says free aveeno lotion wyb…..

      • Asmith

I found it on the aveeno website

    • JL

Hi everyone! I just got back from Rite Aid and the Special K cereals printed out RRs….1 per box! So I bought 4, used 2 B1G1, made both free, and got 4 RRs!!!

      • JL

I mean UP rewards…sorry! Too many drug store terms!

        • wolverinehokie

I did that deal, but got one of the Smart Start cereals that had a try me free mail in rebate. I think it is still considered a Special K cereal because it was part of the B1G1 deal and they took my coupon. So I got $2 +UP, and $4.49 mail-in-rebate.

      • Nichols_again

Me too!…I was super stoked to get something for free and still get ups. I didn't see that one coming.

      • Rachee17

me too, but i think it was only for the strawberry

    • Tiffany

Off topic, but has anyone used their Excedrin free product coupons yet from coupons dot com? I got mine last week and even though they were mailed, they look just like all the other printable coupons. I know a lot of retailers don't accept printable free product coupons. Also, if you look closley, the coupon has “VOID” going across it in white ink. Thanks.

      • I used mine @ CVS I just left the letter attached to it so I wouldn't have any problems. It says that so if it is copied the VOID shows that and nothing else.

        • guest

          used mine at cvs saturday
          1 excedrin migraine
          1 excedrin extra strength
          2 excedrin pm

          used free excedrin migraine
          used free excedrin extra strength
used 2 $2.50 off excedrin pm
          used $5 ecb

          total .66 plus 1.64 tax & received $10 ecb

      • Asmith

I used mine at Rite Aid no problem

      • Kb

I used mine at cvs last week no problems!

    • Courtney

just got back and had a rough time. Be sure to scan your card first if you dont it might mess up, on my 2nd tansaction we forgot to scan it till the end. It did not print out my ups, the manager then took 6.00 off of my next transaction which was all good. Till i got to the car and noticed I did not get my $10.00 up reward for spending 25.00 on aveno, because she took the 6.00 off (she fixed the price on one of the aveno things to 0) so now I have to call riteaid tommorow and get my ups mailed to me for that one. The manager said there was nothing she could do on that one. She just did the -6.00 on the 2nd one since she knew i wanted to use them on my last transaction. I spent around 5 dollars out of pocket (including tax) and will have 13 ups back when i get that 10 so not bad at all.

      • Ashley

Same here. I hear ther are bad glitches with the system on Sundays(first day of the sale) sometimes, or it will lose connection. I gave over my card middway through the transaction and I also hear there have been problems with UP's printing in this situation too. I've got to call and get $48 UP's mailed! I know if they would've returned and rerung my order, the UP's would've printed though, b/c I went to a different store and got some of the same items and the UP's printed.

        • Courtney

yeah the manager said she couldnt do that though because of the coupons and stuff like that.

      • Car3fan

the cashiers at my RA surely have to keep me straight — they won't start the transaction until they scan my card and then always ask if if have a $4/20, $3/20, etc. to ensure it works before coupons. i hope this doesn't mean that they remember me as the disorganized and forgetful customer! haha.

      • Michelle

My $10.00 didnt print out. Can I call them at corporate and fix it?

    • couponseeker21

rite aid video value coupons say limit one coupon per customer. but each video you watch gives you a different couponss with a different barcode. if coupons havedifferent barcodes they are different coupons. so limit one coupon per customer means you can only have that exact coupons ince. the others are all different and there fore will scan. so i can have multiple accounts and should be able to usemultiple coupons one ojne transaction. dont see anything in coupon policy that prohibits it. am i right

    • Asmith

What is the limit on the UP when there is no limit listed in the ad. I did the Mortin
      4X with the 2 of 6 off of 2 no problem and rec'd 4 $2 Up and I did 6 Stayfree with the B1G1 printable and rec'd 3 $2 UP.

      • Nichols_again

I'm not sure the limit…what was the count on the Motrin, and was it $3?….I may go back this afternoon for that deal…$6/2 makes it free right?

        • Ashley

Usually, there are no limits unless stated in very tiny print in the ad(which is not too often so far). And yes, the Motrin is 20 ct at $3 with $2 UP back.

        • wolverinehokie

Makes it a money maker since you get back $2 +UP per Motrin. I've gotten 10 so far with no problem.

        • Asmith

          the 20 count

    • savvysarah

Help, the lubriderm was not 6.99 at my rite aid and I couldn't find the clean and clear that is 4.99. Am I missing something? Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Nichols_again

I too couldn't find the proper prices but I did take time and make it work…My Clean and Clear was 5.49, and also my Rite Aid doesn't have the Aveeno bar soap.

      • Rachee17

        same here

      • Rmcmanus66

yea, my clean and clear was $6.29 and lubriderm was 7.19. I guess it depends on the area you live in. still a good deal though…..

      • Car3fan

it's definitely regional – one of my items was $1 more than listed, but 2 were $1.50 less. than listed.

      • Chris

my rite aid was the same…I gave up on it…but they took my $4/20 coupon on my other deals even though it was beauty

    • sww

here was my aveeno transaction, to get stuff that we normally use. i have the 20% off, so made everything $1 without using my $4/20 beauty reward.
      bought:
neutrogena lip gloss (my fav!) @ $7.29
      aveeno face cleaner x2 @7.99 = $15.98
      clean & clear cleanser x2 @ $5.99 = $11.98
      total before 20% discount = $35.25
      after discount = $28.20
      used:
      $3/1 neutrogena cosmetic- all you
      $2/1 neutrogena cosmetic- in-ad coupon
      $2/1 aveeno face- printable (x2)
      $1/1 aveeno face- in-ad coupon (x2)
$2/1 clean and clear- printable (x2)
      $1/1 clean and clear- in-ad coupon (x2)
total before tax= $11.20, get back $10 UP
if you don't have the discount, get 3 clean and clears @ $5.99 and one neutrogena @ $7.29, the cost will be the same, just less stuff:) use your $4/20 for an even better deal. it's still 3 products (C&C) so you can submit for the coupon rebate. HTH!

    • sww

for the revlon beauty tools deal ($2 UP wyb 2 at B1G150% off)- it works on the nail files which are $1.25 at my store. $1.25 + $0.62 = $1.87 for two, get a $2 UP. does say limit of one, though. HTH!

    • Jrcouponator

So frustrated. Seems every deal I've tried in the last week has a snag. No $1 coupons for Crest/Colgate in the AJC. $6 off 2 Motrin is for 25+ count – Rite-Aid sale is for 20 count. Links for coupons for the Kroger are for Target (my Kroger doesn't take competitors), etc. etc. I'm wildly grateful for Jenny's service as its changed my life – but needed to do a little venting :-) Oh well, better luck next time!

      • Carmen

you may want to check the Target coupon that you are talking about. It may be a manufacturer coupon and not a 'target' coupon. There was one that I was linked to that was for a grocery item. It was a manufacturer and not a target! Try that!

        • Jrcouponator

Thanks ladies! You've taught me a few things (and made me feel lots better). I'm trying to “lighten up”…hee! hee!

      • Courtney

the $6/2 is not for the 25 ct, its only for 25 ct of the zantac, nothing else has a size beside it.

        • Courtney

          err zyrtec not zantac

      • Ashley

I've been couponing for a year now and would feel the same way. But there are just sooo many deals that I'm getting allll the time that it's no big deal anymore. I'd say I've been doing this a while now and we have everything we need, so I'm definitely glad and happy to not take it serious anymore like I used to.

      • wolverinehokie

The $6/2 on the Motrin worked just fine for me. I used it at 3 different Rite Aids. I used the one from the paper to avoid the internet coupon thing. 25ct applies to the Zyrtec.

    • Nichols_again

Has anyone tried buying two of the Motrin and use the $6/2?

      • Rachee17

I just did a motrin and tylenol like scenarios 1 & 3 and it worked w/ no prob.

        • Car3fan

I did two tylenol patches with $6/2, and the register flagged to enter a price. The cashier entered $6, and the coupon went through. This was a new one for them and me.

      • Courtney

        I had no problem

      • Sweety Pie32

        No problems here.

      • Ahjustice

I had a little problem. The cashier insisted it had to be 2 of the exact same product. After calling the manager, however, she took the coupon for 2 different products on the list.

        • Courtney

same for me ah, i said ok took my tylenol patch that i was going to do in the next transaction and did those together then the motrin in the next transaction. i really didnt want to argue about it not being 2 of the exact same product.

      • Asmith

I did w/o any problem. It doesn't say a size for Mortin

      • JB

I did and it worked. It beeped, but the cashier took it.

        • Ashley

It doesn't really beep, beep. It asks cashier to enter the price.

    • Donna

Woo hoo – I had my best trip to Rite Aid since I started couponing back in September!!

      Here's what I got:
      24 cans Fancy Feast @ 0.50/each – $12
      2 Special K Red Berries Cereal – $4.79
      2 Special K Original Cereal – FREE (B1G1)

original total with the sales = $21.58
      coupon Fancy Feast -$1.00
      coupon BIG1 free Special K -$4.79
      coupon BIG1 free Special K -$4.79
used +UP from last transaction -$10.00
      TOTAL = $1.00 plus tax ($1.04)!!!!!

Was expecting $2 +UP back (Fancy Feast) but got $6 +UP – there is apparently a $1 back on “food snacks” per the receipt. :)

I'll say it again…WOO HOO!! Love my deal today – for me & my cats! lol Thank you, thank you, thank you Jenny!!!!

      • Ashley

Great job(Awww about the cats)! I got tons of stuff today for $50 profit, and I am swimming in $270 in RA money. I don't even know how I do it anymore. Rite Aid is crazy with all these deals! And another program like Resolution Reward is supposed to be starting in February too!

        • Klynn

          YEA!!!! What did you get?

        • Donna

Thanks! Yeah, my kittes never get Fancy Feast anymore – too expensive for those tiny cans, so I'll space these out as treats for them – they love it! :)

WOW, sounds like you're doing SO good! I'm getting more of a feel for it as I go along, but still consider myself new, so I'm learning still. I hit my Resolution Rewards in 1 week – I stocked up on the Prevacid (enough for a year) when they were having the $10 back on those. Can't wait to see the new special program!

Seriously, I never shopped RA or any drug stores before I found Southern Savers – thought there were way too expensive. Now I know with a little planning you can get more there than from a store like Walmart! I'm so grateful for this site & for Jenny's hard work!

I'm curious too, what deals did you do today? I love seeing what everyone did – it inspires me!

    • Paulhowe37

can you spend the 25 dollars for aveeno and clean and clear over 2 transactions and get the 10 ups?

      • ZJ

I have the same question. My total came to $24.40 b/c I automatically get 10% off all regular priced items with my rewards card, and I didn't factor that into my total.

        • Ashley

You can return it and ring it up again with a higher priced item or add another item.

        • JB

Mine did the same thing. ARGG! Trying to decide what to do.

      • Ashley

Rite Aid is not yet programmed to track the deals like CVS, so you need to do it in 1 transaction. It is tracking for the Resolution Rewards only though.

      • Paulhowe37

im going to call corporate and hope they will send me the 10, if not i guess i ship it all back to rite aid, 10 dollars is worth the hassle

    • Ahjustice

My $10 UP on $25 beauty products didn't print. Anyone else have this issue?

      • Mechelle Lawte

I had the same issue I am going to call Customer Service tomorrow

      • Mvtdeals

No, in fact mine printed so I used it, along w/ $2 Up for Special K deal ( used two BIGI coupons, Blink and BIGI mixed nuts. I paid1.48 OOP and will I'll get back the 7.99 for the Blink for four boxes of cereal, really great eye drops and two cans of mixed nuts. Thanks Jenny for teaching us how to have FUN when we shop!

      • Mvtdeals

Opps meant to end with saying take your receipt back and ask for the UP coupon for $10. I've done that before when I realized didn't print and they gave me the UPs.

    • Rmcmanus66

I had trouble using the $6 coupon towards the motrin/tylenol . mgr said they can't take printed coupons over $5. Bummer……….

      • ougirl822

There is a manu. coupon the EXACT same one in the Smart Source in this weeks paper, they will take that one :) Hope that helps!!!!

    • Scost809

B1G1 Special K cereal. Bought 4. had 2 coupons for B1G1. total cost $0 plus it printed $1.00 UP rewards for each box. walked out with $4.00!:)))))

      • Bamabobbie

My BOGO didn't take off the full amount for the cereal. Gotta go right back and get that straigt.

        • 3monkeysmom

The BOGO coupon was only good up to $4.49 and the regular price of the cereal is $4.79 so you wind up paying 30 cents a piece for 2 of them.

    • Maria

Special K Cereal $4.47 B1G1 bought 4 used 2 B1G1, Stayfree pads 2/$5.00 bought 6 used 3 B1G1 coupons and 3 $1 printed coupons, used 4/20 paid $.50 got 4 Up reward for the cereal and 6 Up rewards for the pads. Woo Hoo!!!

    • Danielle

If anyone lives in the Dalton, GA area, the Dalton-Cleveland Hwy RA is in the process of renovating and about half the store is 50% off! Be careful because some of the 50% off deals still apply to the RR this week, but are cheaper, so you may have to buy an extra item. I still racked up since I only bought stuff we use and spent $32 w/ tax and saved $144! Also look for the 75% off stickers – I got 2 boxes of Kotex tampons 18 count for $.99!

    • khetkhel4

Is anyone having trouble printing the b1g1 coupon for stayfree?

      • Courtney

i had no problem printing it but that was days ago. There are ones in the inserts though

    • Christie

Loving RA today! I got all of the following for a profit of about $1.64.
      2 Johnson's Naturals baby lotion
      2 Motrin pm 20 ct
      2 Tylenol Precise cream
      1 Blink Tears
      1 Burt's Bees lotion

Thank you Jenny for all that you do!

    • Benjamin

For the Aveeno deal, if you have the 10% or 20% discount, do you have to hit $25 with the discount, or can you hit $25 with the non-discounted price?

      • Dianne L

It has been my experience that my 20% comes off as each eligible item is scanned, so you do have to buy more. I don't know if it would do any good to ask the cashier to key in your purchases and THEN take your card. This set-up is about the only quirk in the system to me. I don't like that I have to buy more product to get to a certain $ amount!

    • Ashley

Ok, can you use a B1G1 coupon AND a $ off coupon if you get two at riteaid?? I know you usually can't….

      • wolverinehokie

If it's $ off one item, you can use both, provided it doesn't give you money back in most places.

    • Jacquelyn

New to this…. :) I noticed the In-Ad coupons in the RA ad today also say “Manufacturer's Coupon”. Can you use it with a regular manufacturers coupon??

      • wolverinehokie

You can use 1 in ad coupon, 1 video value coupon, and 1 true manufacturer coupon.

        • BdaJda06

Is that true that you can use all 3 coupons on a purchase?? The 1 in ad coupon, 1 video value coupon, and a manufacturer coupon??

          • wolverinehokie

Yes. It is in their coupon policy.
“More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
o All coupons match the item being purchased.
o The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.
o No more than one “48” Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one “49” Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5”
Manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item. “

    • I went to Rite Aid this morning to purchase 4 boxes of Special K Cereal and I used 2 B1G1 coupons total came to $0.74! I used a gift card I have had from a past deal so no OOP and the register printed $4 in up+rewards! So I made a nice profit! So excited…it made me even happier today. My husband laughed at me but was happy about the deal too!

    • Cattyjenny

I want to try the Reach total care floss deal– Did anyone do that?? Here's what I'm going to do:

6- Reach total care floss $4 each
      use 3- B1G1q
      use 3- 2/1q
      use $6 UP
      pay nothing get back $6UP

Hoping it's the right floss on sale for the coupons!

    • Webby

Had a fabulous time at Rite Aid today! Stayfree and Motrin PM… Woohoo! I'm set for my “.” :)

    • Nita Royal

Does anyone know if RA is still giving the $25 gift card for new prescriptions? Thanks

    • Mangina

Went to Rite Aid tonight. Bought 4 boxes of the Special K cereal (B1G1 @ 4.79). Used 2 B1G1 Q's and got all 4 for 29 cents! Plus got back 4 $1 UP rewards (unadvertised). AWESOME!!

    • GaPeach

Went to Rite Aid today and tried to use the $6/2 for the Motrin PM but the one on sale for $3 is 20 count and the coupon states that it has to be 25 count or higher :.( Was anybody able to get around this? Please let me know.

      • Nichols_again

did you print out your q?….I got the same qpon in a SS and it doesn't say anything about amounts. Maybe it's the difference between printing it and clipping it. IDK

      • Ucmba97

the 25 ct or higher only applies to the Zyrtec. That's why there is a coma after it, and no size limitations on anything else listed on the IP coupon for $6/2.

      • Courtney

the coupon states that the zyrtec has to be 25 count, all the other things it does not have a ct on

    • deares

Anybody have a working zipcode on the stayfree BOGO?

    • rs

Do I really need to complain to Rite Aid customer service in the morning and ask them to LIMIT every single deal like CVS does, or can you guys use self control and not clear out the shelves on the first day of a sale? I went to two Rite Aids this afternoon, and both of them said a lady cleared them out when they opened of all the deals. There were no Motrins, no Tylenol patches, no pistachios, no Finish, no Stayfree. NOTHING! Did she seriously need everything in the store today?! This is in Rutherford County, TN. Come on, people. Don't be greedy, mentally ill hoarders!

      • Nichols_again

Stop talking about me LOL…totally kidding. I bought 4 packs of Stayfree today and felt like I was getting the stink eye…I say “hey ..we have a house full of girls” LOL

      • Ashley

I totally understand the frustration and it is a huge bummer when I run across it. But, keep in my mind that Rite Aid carries very limited amounts of stock on most of their items. I went today when they first opened and noticed for example that their were only 2 Finish, 4 Tylenol patches, 3 Motrin, and maybe 10 Stayfree(which is nothing when everyone has at least 2 B1G1 q's). This is a every week thing. Calling customer service would actually be pointless because if their's only 2 on the shelf, okay Limit 1 and only 2 people get one still. That's why the great thing is and I am happy with is that we can get rainchecks, just like at CVS. I guess this is just the way the drugstores operate with the amount of stock that they have and we just have to work around it. Also, have you ever been bummed on a Limit 1 CVS deal when you only wanted to get 2? In that way, Rite Aid is pretty cool because maybe one week you want 2, the next week maybe just 1, the next week 3…especially if they miraculously have good stock for the sale(like Kellogs, my store had at least 50 I'm thinking). Anyway, hope this helps. I resolve myself to this because we will always be rain rain checking away at all the drugstores.

        • Amy

Your RA will give you a raincheck for the +UP rewards like CVS does with the ECBs? Mine will give me the price of the sale, but they said they can't do anything about the +UP rewards after the sale is over. That would be great if that changed & if they do it like CVS now. I have almost stopped going to RA totally because there is never anything in stock, and I couldn't get rainchecks – it was just a total waste of time. Even when I would go first thing in the morning on Sunday, they would maybe have one or two on the shelf, and I would feel lucky that I was the one to get it. And they rarely restock their shelves of the sale items when the truck comes in on Thursday (at least mine doesn't). Sometimes I think they don't do it on purpose.

          • Ashley

Yep, my stores have apparently been trained on it. Others have called 1 800 Rite Aid to have them inform their store that yes, UP's are to be subtracted from the total price on the raincheck. Ex. B1G1 at $6 w/ a $2 UP would be written as B1G1 at $4 instead of 6.

            • Amy

That's good to hear. I'll give it a try again. I'm sure they will be out of the Motrin PM. Thanks!

          • rs

Both of my stores refused to give rainchecks on UP items. They lose money when they adjust a price to account for that. Plus, they have loss prevention managers who watch over every “coupon override” and “price adjustment.” They are scared of losing their jobs, which I totally understand. Until they figure out how to do it like CVS with an event code, I might as well give up and let everyday Black Friday shoppers take it all. Ugh!

      • LoverlyStudio

They get their trucks in I believe on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Go then if everything is usually gone or get rain checks. Just how it is when R.A. refuses to back up their ads with products. They know they run out but they are the ones that refuse to do anything about it even when they have their ads made up WAY in advance. It's hit and miss for everyone with all of their sales.
In this day and age though with soooooo many people out of work and in serious financial situations people need as many good deals as they can get to even get by and it's a fight to do it.

      • rs

I have coupon-shopped for three years faithfully. I fully understand that drugstores literally don't have the space to shelve and store inventory like Walmart. What I had the problem with is everywhere I turned yesterday, even at CVS and Publix, the clerks were telling me they were out when they opened due to ONE PERSON cleaning them out. I imagined a hoarder like Nathan on that TLC show who has 1,100 boxes of cereal in his basement, not to mention the multitude of other totes and bins running over! I replayed the posted sign from his home in my head: “SHOP EARLY AND SHOP OFTEN!” I wasted my time preparing and ink/paper printing and very expensive fuel driving around to the stores – all to find out a hoarder nabbed it all right off the bat. My RA is getting better about couponers and rainchecks, and I'll get mine later just like I do at CVS and hope my coupons don't expire before their stock is replenished from all the others who are getting rainchecks. I was highly irritated, and I hope just one hoarder will hear my frustration as a wife, mom of two, home educator, and single income family member who also shares one vehicle. These are all by our choice, but please hear the cries of all of us who don't have the luxury of racing out ahead of you as if it were Black Friday every day, standing guard in line at the doors as they open on Sunday morning. Show a little restraint is all I'm saying, or RA will institute limits for everyone, even the mom with four girls in the house truly needing four free packages of Stayfree!

      • JrCouponator

My Rite-Aid recently told me they have a couple of folks who clear them out…and resell the products in their own store. I understand stocking up with items you will actually use…but as Jenny says, “it will go on sale again.”

      • Douglassandpat

RS, I live in Rutherford County also and have had a clerk tell me the same thing. I also hope people will not be so greedy because that's ridiculous-not even pistachios! They may very well start setting limits which wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion(at least then, you'd have a chance of getting something!). I noticed the last time I shopped at the Publix on Memorial, they had a limit of 5 on the BOGO items. They also don't keep the coupons out front anymore. I had to go to customer service to ask for them

    • savvysarah

Question…….I see scenarios that leave your OOP at 0 using your +ups. However, my riteaid always makes me pay the last sixty or so cents. Is this everywhere or just here. Not that its a big deal, I was just curious.

      • Ucmba97

Rules for sales tax with coupons vary by state. I believe that accounts for a little varience.

      • tina

i have to pay the sales tax where i live so i always have oop but i always get ups back and in the end i am still way ahead! hope that helps, good luck!

      • Guest

Most of these ‘blogs’ do not factor in the cost of tax when making their calculations. One reason may be b/c it just doesn’t make the deal look quite as cool LOL, but then you also have to realize that there are people in different cities, counties, and states reading these deals, and thus very different tax situations apply to different people. The deals listed are a baseline, but yes in many areas you are required by law to pay the sales tax yourself.

    • Nichols_again

Does anyone know the price on the Finish Detergent?

      • Klynn

6.49 you can use two of the 2.25q on there b1g1 so it will be 2.00+tax for 2.

    • Lori

I tried to do the deal idea for the Aveno products, but I didn't get the $10.00 UR. The manager said it's because my total has to be at least $25.00, not just a $25.00 value (after I used the in-ad and printable manufacturer's coupons, my total was $15.00). If this is the case, then it isn't free as the deal ideas state. Am I missing something?

      • Val

The manager is wrong. It's $25 before coupons. Call customer service they will probably mail you your up reward.

        • Lori

I called customer service and spoke with Rose. She said that the store manager is right and that I have to spend the $25.00 in order to get the $10.00 reward on the Aveno products. Now I'm really confused. Could the customer service person be wrong too??

          • jo

I would try and call again, or e-mail them all your info. I also had conflicting stories from RA customer service back in September. Luckily mine was documented through e-mail. I did the Aveno deal yesterday and my $10.00 printed. I purchased $25.49 worth of products, used at least $11.00 in coupons and rolled over $10.00 UR.

    • Dawn

Some of my Aveno deal rang up cheaper (The clean and clear was priced at 5.99 at my store, but it rang up at 5.39, I had *just* enough because I got one of the shampoos too. I think on these “buy 25” deals they have I am going to start ringing that transaction seperately so I can see what it rings up as. I wish they had a scanner like CVS does!

My Rite aid usually has plenty of stock, and I can usually go later in the week and pick up more stuff or things I forgot. I had a LOT of the Stayfree coupons (I still have three!) and I felt bad using the ones I had, since that was an awful lot of Stayfree! I left some on the shelf and figured I would go to the other one in town for the rest of them. My husband didn't understand why I didn't just clear the shelf! :O

Check your RA for the Simply Asia meals, they're on sale for 1.99 with 1.00 ups printing, my store they had peelie coupons on them for 1.00 off 1, so I picked up a bunch of them for free!

      • Val

You probably have the 10% wellness discount so, the Clean and Clear rang up $5.39.

        • Dawn

Hmmm, Maybe? I was trying to figure out why some stuff rang up cheaper, but some didn't! Guess the other stuff was on sale… Looks like I will be stopping at Rite Aid first then to get my papers on sale from now on! How funny, I didn't know I had a discount (Cuz I almost never buy anything thats not on sale!) Good thing I bought a shampoo and not another $3 lotion!

I ran short on time and shopped just before closing, the poor clerk sees my full cart and goes oh, did you want these rung up seperately? LOL I said no, all on one is fine. I try to not do the whole seperate transaction thing if I can help it!

    • Righttouchsky

what insert is the BIGI stayfree products in, i got this weeks inserts 1/09 but mine don't have them in it. Could someone tell me where they are.

      • Anonymous

It’s in Smartsource. If you didn’t get one I have an extra I can send you. Email me your address to showard72@hotmail.com. Hope this helps!

      • Bamasaver

Smart Source…says “Resolve to save more”, “over $80 in coupon and rebate savings”, & has several products shown on the front (Stayfree, ept, Pepcid, Precise, Listerine, Monistat, Neosporin, BandAid, Bengay, etc.)

    • Ksmith

HELP! I am getting mixed up on how to make the B1G1 deals free. For example the Special K. What i am thinking is if it is $4.99 a box, each one will ring up $2.50 and $2.49. Then I use my B1G1 coupon which will subtract $2.49 so then I have $2.50 left to pay right? Jenny are you saying we can use two B1G1 coupons on 2 boxes? Please help me understand.

      • Courtney

        this is their coupon policy

        Buy One, Get One Free
? We accept two coupons for the purchase of two items that are on Buy One, Get One Free Promotion.
? We accept a Buy One, Get One Free Coupon with an item that is in our flyer as Buy One, Get One Free, meaning both
items are free. The cash register will compute any sales tax due, which varies by state law.

Rite Aid does not split the cost of BIGI items. Therefore both items will ring up at regular price (for my store $4.79). The cash register will then subtract the cost of one box of the cereal ($4.79). You will then give the coupon BIGI and the cashier will deduct the cost of a full box of cereal, or the maximum amount allowed by the coupon (which was $4.49). So, I basically paid $0.30 for two boxes of cereal….but as an added bonus…..I got $2.00 in their bucks back!!!!

        • Ksmith

Thank you! So what happens at Publix is that when I give them the coupon they give me the split amount. How do you handle that?

          • Sis2

you are right w/your scenario. If you use the BOGO coupon at Publix, the cereal won't be free. You will pay 2.49. So using the BOGO coupons at a drugstore is much better because they offer true BOGO.

          • laura

Publix in AL ring up half price- so if you buy one, you get it half price. But if you use a B1G1 q, it will take off half price, so you end up paying for half of one item. So if an item is normalyy 4.99, your q would take off 2.50 and you pay 2.50

      • cat

I learned that the weekday manager at my RA apparently doesn't know the rules. I combined the B1G1 coupon with the B1G1 RA offer just fine this weekend on 2 boxes of cereal. Went back to buy 2 more today and he tried to tell me that I had to actually buy at least one cereal. Wrong…

    • Anonymous

It is in Smarsource. If you didn’t get one I will be hapy to send you an extra that I have. Send me your address at showard72@hotmail.com. Hope this helps!

    • Mhanks7

In the 1/9 Smart Source, Resolve to save more there is a coupon for $3 offf any monistat product that can be paired with the $2 +UP to make the monistat $9.99

    • Sharon

What zip code lets you print the $6/2 on the Tylenol Precise coupon?

      • K8

Try 45458, that worked for me last week.

      • Gamblesonsfarms

RA will not accept this coupon because its over $5 printable.

    • Carrie_C

Has anyone seen coupons for Rite Aid gift cards when you transfer a prescription?

      • Daniel

I think they are doing away with this. I work in the pharmacy and we haven't seen any lately. Some other chain already stopped. I think the people in charge finally realized what everyone who actually worked in the pharmacy already knew…that it wasn't building customer loyalty like intended, but was being abused by people who just wanted $25. Companies can't make money/stay in business like that.

        • Guest

It’s not abusive for people to take advantage of a perfectly valid offer. And it’s not abusive for them to then decide to take advantage of another perfectly valid offer from another retailer. Let’s face it – a LOT of prescriptions are VERY expensive, and even if the pharmacy is giving away a $25 giftcard, there are a LOT of prescriptions that they are still making good money on even after that $25 incentive.

Hi, I went and did all my drugstore deals last night and when I was at RA I got my special K cereal and when I did I noticed a tag stating you would get +1 up reward for every box you buy! This was an unexpected surprise. I haven't noticed anyone posting about so I thought I would let you know because with the B1G1 deal its a $4 profit!!!

    • Nysummer2010

Is there anyway I can figure out which food item is qualified for extra $1 upward (as a monthly unadvertised promotion) ? just call customer service who said nothing they can do except go to the store …let the system scan it and wait for the receipt printed :(

      • wolverinehokie

Most stores have the tags on the items that count.

        • Nysummer2010

tks..wolverine & qwertyemily….guess the stores near my area are too busy to put those yellow tags :((

      • Qwertyemily

Yesterday I got an extra $1 up reward when I bought the Special K cereal.

      • Sis2

        iheartriteaid has a list

        • Nysummer2010

          tks…sis2 !! I got the list :)))

      • Guest

Most of those items are the monthly deal that ends on the 22nd so those tags are underneath the sale signs for the week you are in. FYI, the Hormel and Dinty Moore Dinners are on sale this week for $1.99 and you get a $1 +Up Reward. Also, there is a monthly sale on this item (not really a sale) where you get a $1 +Up Reward this month so when buying these items you will get 2-$1 +up Rewards back making whatever you buy FREE in the end.

        • Guest

WRONG – It USED TO have the extra $1 +up Reward, but due to the fact of people not knowing what they’re doing, buying too many items in one transaction, and then calling in to complain b/c they didn’t get all their up rewards back, RA figured out what was going on and KILLED THE DEAL. Now the Hormels and Dinty Moore are only giving back $1 +up instead of 2.

FYI, there is a LIMIT to how many +up rewards will print out on any given receipt. To be safe, you need to keep the number of +up rewards you expect to print out at less than 25. SOME PEOPLE got greedy about this free Hormel deal and bought TOO MANY at one time – each 1 hormel was printing out 2 individual +up rewards, so if people bought 13 or more it freaked out the system and they didn’t get all their +up rewards. Then SOMEONE called in and complained that they didn’t get their ‘BONUS’ +ups rewards, and VOILA suddenly the deal got killed.

    • Michelle

I only bought 20.00 in aveeno products, can I go back and buy an additional 5.00 on another transaction, will I then get the $10.00 Up?

      • Courtney

no sorry you would have to take what you got back, refund it, then do it all again with another item. RiteAid is not like cvs yet where they can track transactions

        • Mel

I thought they could now??? With the big $20 + up reward WYB $100 of the Buy & Save products. Or am I just really confused??

          • Michelle

            Oh Man… I noticed it was 24.00 NOT 25.00!! =( so no 10.00 UP

        • Valerie

How do you have them do that with coupons? I have to go back for a 3rd time in the morning when the store manager is there because no one else could figure it out since I used coupons. Does returning the items kick the coupons off? They have already redeemed the manu q’s, so why can’t they return it at full price for me to buy it at full price? How the store manager can do it. This is why I stick to Publix- no hassle!
          I missed mine by $.55. :(

          • Valerie

Phew- store manager was able to fix it.
Sure was a ton of stuff for $14! (got a few tubes of the curel I had a free sample of last month- love that stuff!)
Shouldn’t run out of baby wash for a while now either!

    • ShopperSteph

I am new to Rite Aid and trying to work up a deal for the Aveeno store rewards. Could someone tell me if the $25 is before coupons? Thanks!

      • Courtney

        yes it is

        • ShopperSteph

Thanks, I saw some other people were having problems getting the 10 reward when they used their coupons. I'll keep an eye on it as they are ringing it up!

          • Courtney

I had a problem for another reason with getting my up, but I used coupons also. I had to call customer service to send me my ups, but it was no hassle at all, they didnt even ask about coupons or what not.

          • Coupons4ever

At my RA, the lotions were only $3.49, so just be careful with your totals. Luckily, the Clean & Clear was $1 more, so mine worked out ok. Good luck!

    • cat

There's a good deal on Sharpies. They are B1G1 50% off and you get $5 UP when you buy $15 worth. Plus, the 8 packs are producing $4 UP each…

      If you buy:
      1 8 pack, fine point at $8.99
1 8 pack, fine point – rings up half price at $4.49
1 filler sharpie (I went with some highlighters, but there are single markers that work too, at about $1.59

You get $5, $4, and $4 UPs back.

Caveat: it doesn't work with the ultra fine tip pack. Also, some stores have 8 packs with a free 8 bonus pack attached for $8.99, so be on the lookout for that.

      • wolverinehokie

Thanks for posting this. It worked great for me. I found the 8 packs with 8 free so I got 33 Sharpies for about $2.

    • Jane

I just got a $5 off $25 coupon in my wellness + account online. It expires 1/31. Has anyone used these more than once? I'm wondering if multiple copies are valid. Thanks.

      • Couponsrock

I got one last month. It's a .pdf coupon, but it links to your card. Some people had the experience of not being able to use it at all. I used mine and the receipt said “invalid coupon,” but it still subtracted the $5 from my total. Good luck!

      • Sdavisva

I believe it's one per card. Did they send you an email telling you about the q or did you find it on your account?

        • Jane

They didn't send an email. I decided to check my account today and it was on there.

          • Phillis

What area was you coupon in? Give us details of where to go to, please!

      • Guest

Yeah a lot of Wellness Plus customers got those but you will only be able to use that coupon once….it doesn't matter if you try to use it on someone else's card, it will deny it and say coupon previously used.

    • Douglassandpat

Is there a limit on the UP purchases. For instance, on Sunday I bought 4 of the Barilla Pastas and got back $5 in UP coupons. Can I then buy 4 more and get another $5 in coupons or is there a limit such as CVS's limit.

      thanks,
      pat

      • ChrissyPunkin

That's a bit of a mystery to me. There used to be a limit, but these days there doesn't seem to be. Check the tag to see if it says there is a limit. If the tag says there is, and you don't get +UPs the next time, then there isn't much the cashier can do about it. It's probably worth a try, though.

    • Janice

What is the zipcode for the BOGO for the stayfree product?

    • Danakim22

My rite- aid did not take the Hormel coupons or the $6.00 off $2.00 Mortrin/Tylenol…

    • Amt1218

OHHHHHHHH the FRUSTRATIONS!!! I've been doing this long enough to know to check and double check! RA actually had almost everything in stock. I was so excited about the Motrin/Precise deal, they had both items. So I go to check out and was worried about the Special K deal because the free one said some flavor they didn't have. So I was watching for that for sure. I listen as they run each coupon through for the right “beep” my brain is programed to know when a coupon is accepted and when it is not. The lady checking me out didn't hesitate on the cereal… I think she is assistant manager.. she was overideing the ones that beeped left and right. Unfortunately, the way they have things set up at RA they have the card swipe on the other side of the register so you can't easily see the coupons or prices. I quickly checked my receipt when I got to the car… looked right. I get home a little while ago pull out the calculator to ck. everything and realize she did NOT take off the $6.00 on $2 Motrin PM/Precise deal. She took my coupon.. but did not take it off of my total. :( So I lost my coupon and ended up $3. out of pocket on the deal. I wanted the $3. profit to go towards other items and I didn't need the Precise all that much! Anyone have any ideas on if there is anything I can do?!? probably nothing.. I think I'm going to just take the items back and get my money back on them. :(

      • Dianne L

I would call the store right NOW and explain what happened. They are surely not too busy to go through the register's coupons and see it in the drawer. Have your receipt handy so you can give them time and register used.

If you can get to the store tonight, that would even be better, although if you are like me in snowed in GA, you'll just want to call! Be sure to let us know how things turned out!

        • Amt1218

Thanks Dianne! Sometimes I forget about calling a store. I just assume how would they be able to know that the coupon was one from me and whether or not I got credit for it. BUT after thinking about it for a few minutes I thought ok.. all they can do is so sorry no can do. So I got up the nerve to call. To my surprise the manager said let me get your info. Your trans number and the coupon info. He said he was really busy but would check for it in the next hour and call me back. So we shall see. I don't really expect to hear back from them BUT you never know he seemed sincere. If they make this right I will be forever a fan of RA!!! Thanks again for the help! I'll let u know.

          • Amt1218

Well, to my surprise the manager from RA just called me back. He said he did indeed find the coupon and asked how many I had because there were two in the register. I said just one.. he said ok I've got it and you can stop by and pick it up. He said the coupon did not go through because RA has a $5.00 limit on the value of a coupon!?! Anyone ever heard that? I haven't but didn't say anything. I figured I'll get my coupon back and try another store. I'm just thrilled that he went to the trouble to find my coupon AND verify that it had not been taken off of my receipt. I will definately do as much shopping as possible at that store for sure. Very nice of him to go to that trouble!!! Thanks again Dianne!

            • Amt1218

Oh btw it was the printed $6.00 coupon.. I just read below that RA is not accepting anything over $5. when it comes to printed coupons. I will still try another store and see if they will put it through. :)

            • Lzbacnik

My Rite Aid accepted the $ 6.00 coupon.

            • Nita Royal

My RA rejected the IP coupon, but they had the same q in the Sunday paper, so I switched it out, and it went through just fine.

            • Mlsshartz

Yes, my Rite Aid has that policy. They will only accept an internet printable to $5. It's in their coupon policy that I have a copy of.

            • Dianne L

              Glad to help!

            • michelle R

the $5 limit is on printable coupons was it a printable? otherwise no i used a $15 coupon the other day

      • KCJackson

The same thing happened to me. They are prompted to enter the value of the coupon ($6) but instead they enter the price of the item ($3). They issued me a cash refund for $3 since it was their mistake.

    • Buff

How do you get the $4 off of $20 Beauty Care purchase coupon? I cannot find it. Thanks!

      • Amt1218

You have to go to the video values on the Rite Aid site and watch the videos to earn the coupon. BUT I still don't know how to get it beyond that. I watched all the videos but cannot find the coupon. I see where I get 1 credit for each video watched and I have them in my account but when I go to print it says this is not the coupon but the credits towards the coupon.

        • Beck

once, you've watched all 15 of the ones that say “1 credit” then a $4 of $20 purchase should appear in your list of coupons that you can print, you just tick the box and click print, make sure you've watched all 15 videos that said “1 credit” on them. if you've done all that and the coupon still isn't there, there is a button to click on to send and e-mail to customer service, they are usually very helpful.

      • Phillis

After you watch all the beauty videos that are under the beauty tab there will be a prompt that tells you that you have qualfied for the beauty bonus, just click on the prompt and it will take you to the coupon. It is in the same area as all you other video values coupons. It will not show up unless you have watched all 15 videos. Hope this helps.

      • Bev

I had the same problem. I watched all of the videos and when I went to print the coupon, it said it was already printed, which it WAS NOT. Sent an email to support to see if there is a way I can print it.

        • Beck

they'll usually reset it & let you print another one. the reason is that even if someone was lying to them and was just trying to print two, the second one wouldn't go through at the register, those coupons are linked to your wellness card, so they should be very willing to help you, they don't have anything to lose.

          • ChrissyPunkin

I'm sorry, but that's not correct. Video Values are not linked to your Wellness card. If you were to try and use the same coupon from the same month in the same transaction, then it would be rejected.

            • Syndilew

Yeah, I hate to seem bad for doing this but I print coupons under my name and my husband's name on the video values and don't have any issues.

            • Paige_Aminehdestin

It's not linked to the wellness cards, like you said, but it doesn't have to be the same transaction to be rejected. The barcode is an individually coded coupon code, and once it's used, the next time it's scanned (same transaction or one in 3 weeks) it comes up as “coupon already used”. It has nothing to do with your wellness account, but simply your Video Values account only gets credited with one coupon per video.

    • kidsryourlegacy@gmail.com

FYI—Received a $20 UP today as I reached the $100. mark. Can someone explain the gifts of savings from December? Was I suppose to enter my receipts on the Rite-aid website? I've tried the Rite-ad website to gather the information over the past three days and it appears to be down.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Yes, you enter them at the same place as the SCRs. There is a link on the left side to see your Gift of Savings totals.

      • wendy

I ran into a problem with the site too. I could not get in by typing riteaid.com at the top of my browser. I had to google rite aid rebates and then click on a link. This was the only way I could get it to work. Really strange.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The “gift of savings” is a program that started before the Wellness cards and +UPs were implemented. So, when the company decided to do it again, they kept it the way it had been the past 2 years but I guess realized they could also do it as +UPs which is why it changed for the “resolution rewards” (that and that it's only on specially marked items, not everything you purchase). As for the GOS, you do enter your receipts online. Go to riteaid(dot)com (however you have to get there, since some people are having trouble with the site) and go to the “single check rebates” link on the left hand side. If you don't do the rebates, then sign up for it, and enter all of your receipts that you have for the period of time the GOS ran. Which was what Black Friday through Christmas, I think. It'll keep track and add them up for you and tell you how much you bought and what it qualifies for. If you bought anything on rebate, it'll also automatically enter it there as well, and you just have to print your gift certificate from GOS when it registers your receipts, and hit “send me my check” to get your rebate check mailed to you (if you bought any rebate items).

    • Busycarebear

Does anyone have a PediaCare coupon from the SS 12/05 they could send me? I wanted to buy some PediaCare infant pain reliever but My region did not get it.

      • Sarcasticangel_82

Is it PediaSure? $2 cupon? If so email me your addy and I will drop it in the mail for you. Remind me that it is SS 12/5 in the email though so I can find it again. :)

        • Busycarebear

It is the Pediacare not PediaSure. Thanks for replying

      • Anonymous

I don’t know if it’s still on there or not but coupons.com had printable pediacare coupons a couple of weeks ago. Check there.

    • beck

Just some info, the $4 off $20 beauty reward coupon does not just have to be used on beauty items. it works on any sale over $20. i thought that would be true since the coupon doesn't say anything on it about being limited to only beauty items, so I tried it and sure enough it worked. i bought cereal, gum, & candy, all food, and it went through with no problem.

      • Sdavisva

Thank you so much for posting that. It was helpful to use that coupon today and keep my oop lower. I hadn't bothered to watch the commericals yet b/c I didn't have any 'beauty' items on my list. But you're right, the coupon just states '$4 off $20 purchase”. ;)

      • Mingram12

I watched all the videos to earn the $4 off $20 beauty reward coupon. Do I print off the coupons (they say only 1 cent off and that they're NOT coupons). Also having trouble w/ confirmation code??? Help?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

You're right. The coupon is a “beauty bonus” coupon, but is simply a $4/$20 purchase Rite Aid coupon. You only get credits watching the “beauty” item videos, and get the bonus coupon that way now. We think it's going to switch from month to month, so you're not always having to watch 20 (or 15) credits worth of beauty supply commercials to get the bonus coupon. I hope we're right on that, because I get irritated watching those commercials and I am a female, I can only imagine men trying to watch them all. :-)

    • Melissaoski

WOOHOO! 4 boxes of Special K and one pack of Motrin PM for $1.24 and I left with $6 in UP rewards.

      • michigangirl

Me, too! I was so excited to get the bonus $1 UP reward with each box of Special K–I love surprises!!

    • Christinc21

when you recieve multiple UP rewards on one receipt, $3+Up and $2+UP. Will it print as a $3 and a $2, or will it combine into $5? I haven't used this UP since RA started it.

      • wolverinehokie

They will be separate which is nice imo

        • Christinc21

so if i get a $2 and a $3 I can use the $2 on one transacation and the #3 on another?

          • ChrissyPunkin

            Yes. :-)

          • mommyof3

you can use as many UPs as you want in one transaction you do not have to use them separately!

    • ChrissyPunkin

      Yes. :-)

    • Toto

FYI, Bought 6 Hormel Compleats this morning @8:30. Only got the (6) $1 +UP. No bonus +UPs on these.

      • Julie

Great, thanks! It helps me to be able to plan in advance…when I have to take my two year old shopping with me it helps if I don't have to do too much last minute math in my head!

        • Julie

oops, meant to reply to the posts above about gift of savings…

    • Julie

Does anyone know if you are able to combine the $20 gift of savings coupon with other coupons in the same transactions? Like if my total is $34 after coupons and VV can I use a $4/20, 10UPs and a $20 gift of savings to pay? Has anyone tried combining the GOS with other things? TIA

      • wolverinehokie

I combined the GoS, +UP and $4/20 and it worked fine.

      • Mlsshartz

I used my Gift of Savings, 10% discount pass, and UPs all in one transaction to by a MP3 player at Christmas. I can't see why you couldn't also use the $4/20 just ask.

      • Nita Royal

I used my $20 GOS and $4 off 20 together, along with 2 of the $1VV – no problem at all!

    • Kratie00

FYI…not sure if anyone else has posted this or not, but you must buy all the Aveeno/Clear Care, etc products in the same transaction to get the $10 UP. I was off by like $2 so went back today to buy one more thing and no UP printed. I chatted with online Customer Service and she said it all had to be bought in the same transaction… Big bummer for me! Debating taking everything back that's not needed for the free lotion promo…

      • Janelle

Interesting, I called cust. service bc mine didn't ring up and Peter stated that he would send me the 10 dollars UPs in the mail. Hope I really recieve it. What a pain in the …..I actually bought over 25 dollars worth and it still didn't register any UPs

        • Kratie00

Hmm, did you buy them all in one transaction and it just didn't show up? Or did you buy them over several different transactions?

        • Juli

I had to call RiteAid last week about an UP that didn't print, and it was in my mailbox 4 days later. The times I've dealt with corporate they were great! I bet you'll get it really soon. Stinks to have to request it, but at least they are good about it.

    • Christy12

      Coupons for Monistat!!!

-$2 off Soothing Care product from the makers of Monistat, SS 1/09
-$3 off Monistat product, SS 1/09

    • Janelle

My Riteaid/Save-a-lot would not honor a lot of the sales listed in this ad. Are these stores diff. from the regular Rite-aids . I had to call cust. service to get my Aveno 10 UPs when I purchases over 25 dollars worth. Special K did not ring up with BOGO so my coupon was not that great. Still paid 4 bucks a box. No UPs for that either, like some have reported. Manager didn't even know the listerine/reach items were on sale!!! All the tags were taken down, bc he said the sale ends today!!! They run Wed-wed sales???? Not a very good experience for me today. Not sure if I will shop there again :-(

I believe teh combo Save-a-lot stores are completely different from the standard Rite Aid Stores, so the ads are different. They may have great deals, but you'd have to get an ad from them and do matchups separately.

    • Derri_555

Hi, I am very new to this and would like to know how the B1G1 promotion works when also using a B1G1 coupon. For example the special K cereal. Thank you.

      • katie

Google “Rite Aid coupon acceptance policy”. The first link it brings up is Rite Aid's coupon policy. If you click on it, and look toward the bottom, there is actually a section of the policy that addresses this.

    • Does Rite Aid accept competitor coupons? If they do, there's a coupon in the publix flyer for $3.00 off motrin pm….

      • Guest

No, they do not accept competitors' store coupons.

    • Kikercasey

How do we know which items are on the Resolution Rewards deal? I bought three Aveeno items, one lubriderm and one clean and clear item and my resolution reward total didn't change at all. Is there a list somewhere?

      • Guest

Look for the blue tags in the store that say 'Buy and Save'. If the item has the 'Buy and Save' tag then it's supposed to count toward the deal. There are literally THOUSANDS of items.

      • Sis2

There's a 2 page list in the January SCR booklet. Just pick one up next time you go to RA. All of the items aren't tagged in my store.

    • Careynolds622

Great trip to Rite Aid! I got:

      8 Special K (4.79 ea)
      4 Kleenex (2.49 ea)
      1 Lubriderm Advanced Therapy (7.99)
2 Aveeno Daily lotion (3.49 ea)
4 Tylenol Precice Heat Patch (7.99 ea)
2 Tylenol Precise Cream (7.99 ea)
      2 Aveeno Shampoo (7.49 ea)

      Value: $131.88
      I used $35 +UPS
      OOP: 6.63

      Got back $38 +UPS!!

    • Auntmamy

I used the printable motrin pm coupons $6/2 and after i checked out noticed they only took off $3 I bought 2 bottles for $3 each and ened up getting 2 $2 UP rewards so i didnt complain because it was still free plus but not sure how they came up with $3 value for coupon

      • Guest

That coupon is coded so that the cashier has to type in the value of the coupon for it to work. The cashier probably read the prompt wrong and thought they were supposed to type in the price of 1 item instead of the overall value of the coupon. It's cashier-error, not the coupon itself.

    • Nita Royal

How can we know what the limit is on the UPs? Until recently, some deals were marked if they had a limit, otherwise, they seemed to be unlimited. But the last couple of weeks, I only seem to get the UPs on the first deal. Now I'm hesitant to do more than one on anything.

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

I've been wondering this, but at both my RA's I have been getting UP+ for everything. Very confusing. CVS puts their limits on the receipts. Perhaps a call to their toll-free would shed some light on this.

    • roseandruthsmom

I notice that at the bottom of Aveeno Deal #1 and Aveeno Deal #2 that you state “submit for free lotion”…my question is this…is there a way to submit this more than one time to get the free lotion?

      • Dianne L

I think Jenny was offering two options for Aveeno, depending on which products you wanted to buy. You'll notice in her deal scenario, she only mentioned submitting for rebate in one transaction.

        • roseandruthsmom

if you look at the 2 Aveeno deals closer to the top of the page she mentions submitting for lotion rebate at the bottom of both deals…I don't think you can submit more than once even if you do 2 separate transactions that is why I asked the question.

    • MK

Thank you so much for the Aveeno deal. I did this, but prices at my store were 1$ more than what you have written! Still it is a decent deal! Thank you so much Jenny!

    • Rea

Dose anyone know the zip for the $6/2 Tylenol Precise product? Thanks

      • Guest

That coupon shouldn't even be listed here in the deals b/c Rite-Aid's official coupon policy says that they will NOT accept internet printed coupons worth more than $5.

        • Dianna

I just went and they took 2 of them without any problems. I bought 2 Motrin Pm, 2 Tylenol Heat Patches, and 4 Special K all for $1.22 plus got $12 in UP rewards!

          • Ebony Cullars

            Me also :)

            • Ashley

Dianna's right. The company has stated they do not want to take IP's over $6. Jenny does make mistakes from time to time, but if you didn't know… now you do.

            • Ashley

Guest is correct, I mean :)

            • Guest

              Thank you.

Dianna – The store may 'take it with no problem' but then you don't know what the consequences might be for the cashier that takes a coupon that the policy says they're not supposed to take. *If* you know that a store isn't supposed to take a coupon, you really shouldn't try to use it even if the store seems to not know better. If they figure it out later, it could give you a bad name and make it harder for you to do deals in the future.

            • Marysc1000

Oh, come on. The customer is not responsible for what coupons a cashier takes or doesn't take. And it won't “give you a bad name”. If you are really concerned you can point out the coupon to the cashier and make sure you can use it. I can guarantee that my store will take it with no question. It's not like you are trying to pass off a counterfeit coupon that the store will not be reimbursed for!!

        • Bst Pierre

I ran into the same problem at Rite Aid today. They wouldn't take the $6 coupon but I tried it at another Rite Aid and it was taken. This is the first time I've heard about them not taking any Q over $5, even if it's a $6 + Q off of multiple items.

In the end, I was able to work through all 5 scenarios with no problem.

        • Tigergrl

If the store determines they will accept this, they make the ultimate call to amend their policy. They reserve the right to amend any portion of their policy at any time. Also, the coupon is for $6 off TWO items, not $6 off one which is the way the manager in one store explained accepting it.

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

This coupon was also in The AJC 1/09. I can't remember which one, so it is worth looking to see if you have it. That would be a solution. Still a few more days. Also, the Motrin PM 20ct wasn't marked in either of my stores, but a price-check revealed it is on sale.

Also, it printed (2) $2 UP+ not the one mentioned, so with the coupon it is a $4 money maker.

    • Livserge331

I got to the store today and realized I didn't print the Aveeno scenarios on my list… oops. I tried to figure it out on my own but couldn't so I decided to leave it for another day. Actually glad I did, because I tweaked the scenario a bit to allow for things I'd rather have. Not really a lotion person so I don't want the Lubriderm, etc. But my husband does use a lot of face wash and scrub, and I love the Aveeno hair stuff, so here goes my new scenario:
      3 Clean and Clear scrubs 5oz, $4.99 each (14.97)
      2 Aveeno Hair products, $5.99 each (11.98)
(total: 26.95 or $28.30 with GA tax – I always figure the tax in to see if it's really a good deal in the end… sometimes tax will kill it!)
      MINUS:
      3 Clean and Clear $2 MC (-$6)
      2 Aveeno Hair $1.50 MC (-$3)
      3 Clean and Clear $1 SC (-$3)
      2 Aveeno Hair $1 SC (-$2)
$4/$20 Beauty VV coupon ($18 total coupons)
$28.30-$18 = $10.30, get the $10 up and 3 $1 ups! I'll have to get a few fillers (probably the $1.50 3 packs of gum; that's not a bad price and my husband chews through a lot of it) to use all the extra coupons (the items all have a SC and MC each, so I'll need extra items to “buffer” the 4/20 coupon and the ups I earned today on the Tylenol Precise.) I still consider it a money maker though. Anyone have better ideas for cheaper fillers?

      • Livserge331

Oh, and I will submit it for the free Aveeno lotion coupon. Even though I'm not really a lotion person, that could come in handy to use in one of these types of deals in the future to bring down the cost of other items!

        • wolverinehokie

Are you sure you need “fillers”? I've never used them at Rite Aid personally.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

You don't, as per policy. I have heard of stores that won't allow you to use more coupons than items purchased, but I don't think any in my area do that, or even attempt it. I don't know where the original poster is from (in GA) but around here, there shouldn't be a need for a filler. The only trouble you should ever run in to is if stacking coupons takes the price of an item below $0, and then one just has to be modified down. Which causes trouble from time to time since adjusting a coupon seems to be a hot button topic, but still better than having to buy something you don't want/need just to have enough items to use all your coupons and +UPs since those are also man. coupons.

            • Livserge331

Thanks! I'm going to try it this time without fillers. The first week that there were UPs, my order went all wrong when the register refused to accept any more coupons, and so since then I've assumed that's just the way it is. (And my total was still $16 if I remember correctly.) I can't remember what the exact error message was, but the cashier and manager just told me I had too many # of coupons versus items. I had a manu coupon for all my items, one coupon out of the circular I believe, and then like 4 UPs from a previous day.

            • wolverinehokie

You have to remember that coupons, +UP and other certificates can not go to tax. I see that you included tax in your total which is fine if you want to know your oop, but your +UP and coupons can't pay for tax. That might have been the real reason you were having trouble before.

            • jessheartscoupons

You can't use UPs towards tax. I had a similar problem when I tried to use a $10 UP and my subtotal was $9.49. In this case, I threw in a filler candy bar b/c I'd rather use my UP than pay $9 OOP.

      • Sis2

I'm trying to figure out why you think you need fillers. You can have more coupons than you have items. The only place that needs fillers is walgreens.

        • Livserge331

In the past, when I have tried to use more coupons than items at Rite Aid, the register would not allow it, and both my cashier and the manager she called agreed that the system couldn't take it. Of course, this was the first week UPs were in use, but to avoid problems I've always tried to plan accordingly. I guess I will try it this time and report what happens! And yes, I'm in Brunswick, GA.

    • Bst Pierre

Can anyone tell me where to find the Aveeno mail in rebate form?

      • Dianne L

You print it from coupons(dot)com. You will click it just like any other coupon there you want to print. Weird, huh?!

      • jessheartscoupons

Click Jenny's link above and look for it. It looks like the rest of the coupons, but the rebate prints instead.

    • ChrissyPunkin

I got my $20 resolution reward tonight! Yay! I would like to use it toward diapers, and I'm trying to decide if I should get the Luvs deal this week or wait for another Huggies deal. Any advice? BTW, the $20 reward is good until 2/21/11. :-)

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

I don't have any real advice on when you should use it, except which diapers you prefer, matched up with sales and coupons. BUT I wanted to reply because another “rewards” program rolls out the day after the resolution reward ends. So everyone has until the 22nd to get their $100 of qualifying purchases for this one, then on the 23rd the “winter rewards” start. I think that's what the next one is called anyway. I haven't seen anything, as to know what is included (merchandise wise) for the next round [yet], but if you can find it, see if any diapers are included since you know there will be plenty of sales on diapers before your $20 +UP expires, so maybe you could use it to get your diapers and get a “free” $20 towards the next one.

        • Bamasaver

Check the iheartriteaid(dot)com site…I think she's showing the item list already.

          • ChrissyPunkin

Thanks, I combed through those ads and I don't see any Huggies deals. I went ahead and did the Luvs. :-)

        • ChrissyPunkin

Thanks, Paige. I haven't seen you here in a while–good to have you back. You have to tell me what “aminehdestin” means. I wonder that every time I see your comments. :-)

I had forgotten about the Pilot Pens deal, so I got some of those. I don't see a Huggies deal in the next few weeks, and I didn't want to run low so I got the Luvs–which work great for us. Here's what I did:

I have the 20% discount, so I'm showing the price after the discount here
          1 Luvs family pack, $14.39
          2 Pilot easy touch 2-packs, $1.83 each
4 Chunky soup bowls (I put these in my husband's lunch when we're in a hurry), $5
          Used:
          $1 off Luvs
          $1.50 off 4 Chunky soups
          Paid with $20 +UPs
          $.86 oop
          Got $2, $1, $4 +UPs.

I'm sure I could have done better if I hadn't needed diapers, but I'm happy with how it worked out.

Also, look for the Darice craft kits. I got 4 Foam kits for free:
1 foam pirate ship kit: $2.39 (reg. $2.99 before discount)
          1 foam jewelry kit: $2.39
          Got $5 +UP
          I did this deal twice.

I don't want to admit how many times I've been in Rite Aid this week. Between the Special K and the Motrin/Tylenol Precise deals, I've been busy. :-)
          Happy shopping everyone!!!

        • Dianne L

Paige, good to see you back here!!!

    • qgirl

So there is no rule on using multiple SC coupons on one transaction? I'm looking at how 3-$1 off S q's are used on the Aveeno deal. It says limit one per customer on the q so I wanted to check. Thanks!

      • Jessheartscoupons

I used multiple in-ad coupons today (2 Aveeno, 2 C&C, 1 L) and they accepted all of them in 1 transaction

    • artlady

Is anyone else having problems printing off coupons from Smart Source online? I have never had problems with this before… all of a sudden it won't print. It gives me the spinning “S” and then goes to the page with the blue bar that says my coupons are printing, but the blue bar just stops at the very beginning and never finishes. I wanted to print out the Aveeno hair coupon and the Aveeno Lotion rebate, but no can do. Just wondering if anyone has any tips. (It was so hard to not have that extra $1.50 off hair product coupon when I bought my things today! :) )

      • artlady

Nevermind – I restarted my computer today, and now it works…too bad I didn't do that yesterday… oh well.

    • Raynesmw

Hey! I am hoping somebody can help me w/ a question I have about the resolution deal (buy 100 get 20 back). On the bottom of 2 of my receipts from about 2 weeks ago, the amount was exactly the same. Then, after that I had one receipt where it was like 2.00 and some odd change at the bottom. Today, my receipt at the bottom had 49 and some change at the bottom. Is this an accumulating total, or are these all separate toward the grand total? I am confused.

      • wolverinehokie

In Rite Aid's computer, the numbers appear to be accumulating correctly (as in one grand total), but what prints on your receipt is not always correct. There appears to be a delay. Some people are saying total will be correct if you purchase everything from the same store, but if you go to different stores the totals will not be correct right away. Regardless, if you get to the the $100, it sounds like the $20 +UP is printing without a problem.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The computers are having trouble with math, from what I can tell. At first it was a cumulative effect, adding up every purchase on the bottom of your receipts. Now, each sale is showing how much you purchased in qualifying items on that receipt-ONLY. I think it's because of the delay in points resetting and having to fix all of that, it looks like something was changed completely even not having anything to do with the points. Even so, once you do spend $100 (qualifying purchases of course), the +UP is still printing. Mine printed the day it stopped adding each on the receipt. It said I spent $4.76 or something to get the $20 +UP, so it was obvious that it had added it to everything before.

    • Raynesmw

Another question too-Before Christmas, Rite Aid was not tracking your “deals”. Like if you bought 3 razors, you got back 3 different UP rewards. Is this being tracked now? Does anybody know? I thought I had read that it was somewhere, just wondering if anybody has noticed this. Thanks in advance!

      • Jessheartscoupons

They are tracking the Resolution Rewwards, but all the other offers you must buy in one transaction.

    • Bamasaver

FYI everyone…check Dollar General's website for Stayfree B1G1 coupons. (They say “available at Dollar General” & are manufacturer Qs.) You could possibly print a couple more from there to use at RA tomorrow/Sat. I found bonus packs (24 + 8 bonus = 32 ct) @ the 2/$5 sale price–got four, used 2 B1G1s & 2 $1 Qs & got back 2 $2+ups.

    • Bowtifan

My computers won't print SmartSource coupons anymore – for Izze drinks, etc. Anyone else having this problem?

      • rbutler

I am having the same problem. When I click on the printable link, it just pulls up a blank page.

    • Amymac78

Spic and Span items on clearance. The $1 Spic and Span items are on clearance for 50% off. I used 2 of the $1 off of 2 items and received 4 items free! The manager had to override, but the coupon says any Spic and Span product

      • Dianne L

        Where is that coupon? Thanks!

    • Dianne L

Just wanted to let y'all know that I was able to use the free Breathe Right catalinas I got from Kroger at my Rite Aid yesterday! Free Breathe Rights and +UPs to boot!

    • Livserge331

It worked! I was able to use more coupons than items in my transaction today. (I had previously been told by RA staff I couldn't because the register wouldn't allow it, and I believed it.) Anyway, none of the Clean and Clear stuff was 4.99, and there was only one 5.49 item I wanted (face wash, don't need astringent), so I got that and 4 Aveeno hair things. Got the $10 up as well as 4 $1 ups for a nice little profit!

    • 4JSwafford

Ok I watched the 15 videos at Rite Aid and now I can't get my $4.00 beauty coupon to print. Any ideas? Thanks Jeannie

      • meme

I was lost on the video site at first. If you haven't tried this, it may be the solution to your problem. Log in and then click the button in the upper right of the screen that says “Get Rewards”. This will take you to your rewards site and you can click the box next to the coupon you want to print. You can get four per page (four different coupons, not four of the same) so this is the most efficient way to print. I think the “print” button is at the upper left on this screen. Hope this helps.
