Q&A help:

There are lots of questions this week, so to try to help:

1.  Rebate items do NOT have to be purchased in the same transaction to qualify.  you just need to finish purchasing the necessary amount before the rebate period ends.  The Computer will track your purchases as you enter each receipt and know that you bought the right amount.

2.  The Rite Aid Huggies coupons are store coupons.  Just like the in ad coupons that also say manufacturer coupons on the top of them.  These coupons are not true manufacturer coupons.  A Manufacturer coupon will always start with a 5 or 9 in the bar code and have a traditional bar code.  These coupons can be used with other coupons without any problems.

3.  The scenarios above are split up so that if you had $5 off $20 coupons you could use them to your advantage.  If you have none of these coupons then buy it all at the same time if you like.

    • Lane

Just curious about how you can get more than one of the various Rite Aid coupons listed. The site says you can only print one. Also, does Rite Aid begin honoring these deals after 6:00 PM on Saturday? Thanks!

      • Jenny

If you sign in and with a different email address it will let you watch all the videos again and print another one. They are all the same barcode numberbut you can watch them again this way if you want.

    • Tina

Where can I get the $5 off $20? Thanks so much for your help.

    • Jeanne

Can you get these deals at 6 on Saturday?

    • Wow- did not know there was also a SCR on the wipes. This is AWESOME!

    • Sharon in SC

the coupons do state Manufactures Coupon on top and on bottom
      COUPON redemption paid by Manufacture.

So how can you Legally use two Manufacture coupons on ONE product?

      Am I missing something?

    • Jenn

Can you use the SCR that you get back in the same day. Like can I take the 22.98 and turn around and spend it on more diapers??

    • Tina

      Jenn #7

No. You have to enter your receipt info online @ riteaid.com and you will receive a check in the mail.

    • Bobbie

I’ve been doing Rite Aid rebates for years and never known them to start on Sat. A lot of their rebates are also by dates and can only get the rebate if purchased between certain dates.

    • Lyn

Do you not have to purchase all three packs of diapers in one transaction to qualify for the rebate? I have never shopped Rite Aid SCR, but am so wanting to for the diaper deal. I have three of the $3/1 pure and natural diapers.

    • bridget

For the diapers only scenario, it is shown as two transactions – does this mean that all 3 packs of diapers do not have to be purchased in the same transaction in order to qualify for the rebate? I have never done this before, so I am not sure how it works. Thanks.

    • Bobbie

Jenny, Since the tresemme is only $4.00 each wouldn’t you have to buy 3 at $4. each for the 10. purchase to get a $5.00 rebate? I plan on buying 1 nexxus for around 12.99 and use a rite aid coupon for 4.00 off with a diaper deal to get a $5.00 rebate.

      1 Nexxus Shampoo 12.99 ?? or close to $10.
      Use $5 off $20 -5.00
      Use 1) Rite Aid Diaper C -2.00
      Use 1) Diaper mfg c -3.00
      Use 1) Rite Aid Nexxus C -4.00

      Total 20.98
      Diaper Rebate -10.00
      Proantinoox Rebate -6.99
      Nexxus Rebate -5.00

This should make an overage of $1.01 if I have figured it all right.

    • Bobbie

Bridget no you do not have to purchase it all in one transaction. In fact you could buy everything in a seperate trans if you wanted to take the time.

    • Laura

    • Stacey

I’m really confused. I don’t understand why it doesn’t matter if I do it in two transactions when the SCR requires that I buy 3. How will “it” know that I bought 2 and 2? Plus, it looks like I need to use the same coupons multiple times. Will the site let me print it more than one time? I’m the most confused about the scenario involving 3 transactions. I would love to do that one and get everything for free, but I just don’t get how it works. I’m new to this whole coupon thing, but I’m really trying!

    • Aulora

I don’t have any Rite Aid experience so I am asking those who have experience with Rite Aid and Adperks. First – the Adperks coupons say at the bottom in fine print limit one per customer. From different email addresses I have 6 of the coupons but I am assuming by that print that it wont scan more than 1? Also the Rite Aid diaper coupons say MFGR coupons at the top – will it allow you to use the $3 mfg coupons AND the Rite Aid $2 since it also says it is mfgr coupon?

    • China

I have trouble getting the rebates. Everytime I shop RiteAid I purchase things that have rebates but when I get home and put in the info for the rebates I am only allowed one. Why do I have trouble getting more than one rebate from my purchase?

    • I love the list making function! Can’t wait to go shopping! I have linked this from my blog. Thanks for the great work!

    • Lynna

I caught the manufacturer’s coupon thing, also. The huggies printable and the Rite Aid say man. Q so I don’t think we will be able to use both. I tried to use those two Zyrtec Q’s way back when and the in-ad Q said manufacturer’s thus not allowing me to use both. Still a good deal but don’t think using both will work.

    • Donna

Yes, I would like to know too if you can use the huggies rite aid coupon and the huggies 3$ coupon together since they are both manufacturers???

    • MarySC (Charleston/Summerville)

China #15, many rebates are limited to one per item. There is a booklet in front of the store that lists the details for all the monthly rebates. This info is also online at the Riteaid website, and usually the sale ad says the limit.

I have never had any trouble with a Rite Aid rebate, and I have done a ton of them. (Well, once I had trouble… but it was because I couldn’t read!!!) Once you input the receipt and give it a day or two to be processed, you can check and make sure that all your rebates from that receipt were included.

You also have to remember to request your check at the end of each month. They send you an email whenever a rebate has been added to your account… I leave one of those emails in my inbox and delete it only when I request the check. I then leave the message acknowledging the check request in my inbox until the check arrives. It always has.

    • Jennifer

How can I get another $5 off $20 coupon? I got my first $5 off coupon for getting 20 credits but when I got my next 20 credits no $5 off coupon.

    • Paricia

Does the Rite Aid $2 off coupon HAVE to be used with Pure and Natural diapers or can it be used on any Huggies item?

    • I’m trying to do the Scenario with Just the Diapers…
      I have the $5.00 Off $20.00 Coupon
I have the $2.00 off Rite Aid coupon
I printed the 2.00 off Any Huggies Diaper Product (Manufactures coupon)
How can I get another one of these? Says I printed my Limit?
And can you use this one coupon 2x in the same transaction?

    • Jennifer

The $2 Rite Aid coupon is for Huggies Supreme or Pure & Natural Jumbo Packs or higher.

    • Stacey

it all depends on your store/managers policy if you are able to use the Rite Aid coupon and the manufactures coupon in the same transaction.

my Rite Aid will try anything for me, but if it doesnt scan they cant enter it manually if it is a printed manufactures coupon.

try using original manufactures coupons with the printed ones and see if you dont have more luck. sometimes it is all dependent on the cashier as well.

    • I have said this before, and Jenny has said it numerous times, but it bears repeating-

RITE AID corporate policy (call them and ask) is that you MAY USE one “manufacturer coupon” and one rite aid coupon PER ITEM. Rite Aid coupons begin with “RC”.

The way rebates are earned is by going online and entering your receipts. That is how “it” knows you’ve bought the required amount. You tell them. There is a limit of rebates per account/address/household. It lists these limits in the SCR book and online.

    • Oh- and ALL Rite Aid coupons state “manufacturer’s coupon” on them. But it is their corporate policy to allow the stacking of the two per item. (You’ll know if it’s a TRUE manufacturer’s coupon by looking at the barcode. barcodes with a string of digits that being with 5 or 9 are mq’s. Ones that begin with the letters “RC” or “RA” are Rite Aid coupons.)

    • kathi

Just kind of a random question. I’ve not bought diapers in years (my kids are 18 and 20) but I was usually able to get diapers for less than half “the going rate” by shopping Toys R Us and stacking TRU coupons w/ the gazillion manufacturer coupons I was getting in the mail and in the newspaper (mine and those of the neighbors on both sides)Is TRU not a great place to get a good deal on dipes any more or is it just more efficient to do the pharmacy thing for them?

    • Jennifer

I earned the $10 P&G rebate / gift card from buying the CoverGirl products last week. It is in a separate box to redeem on my RiteAid page but I’m scared to redeem it if that means I can’t add any other receipts for the month. Does anyone know how that works?

    • Kim C

WOW ! What an awesome deal ! Sure wish there was a Rite-Aid around here ! I’d definitely be purchasing many diapers !!!!

    • Kayleen

For the $2 Rite Aid Q, if the barcode is the same for each Q, what would stop someone from just photocopying it? It says on the bottom that the Q is void if it has been duplicated. Also, it says limit one per customer at the bottom. I hate to seem skeptical, but will Rite Aid really accept more than one of these? Don’t get me wrong, I would love for this all to work out. I’m just afraid it’s too good to be true.

    • Dani concerning SCR #137

      Jenny & everyone!

My September rebate directory ends with SCR #110. Can not find SRC #137 (2$ off Pampers). What I could find was SCR #10 -> 2$ off MEGA PACK Pampers. Just wanted to point that out.

Could someone else check into that please?!
As always – great job, Jenny!

    • elizabeth

If u r to scared to do 3 transactions in one day..then go there on 3 different days

    • In the Middletown Ohio ad, there is Sensodyne Iso-Active Toothpaste for $4.99 with $1 off manufacture coupon and $1.50 SCR, making it $2.49. This is cheaper than the deal that CVS is having this week on this toothpaste.

    • Michelle Fowler

Rite Aid Took allmy diaper coupons and the store ones as well!! No problems with stacking these for me!

    • Amanda

Jennifer, if you’re buying anything this week don’t request your check..you can only request one a month. HTH

    • Bobbie

I’ve been doing rebates for years and Rite Aid still has their rebate program you submit once a month but CVS and Walgreens are different and can be quite confusing for everyone. You can get EB’s at CVS and stand there and use them on each new transaction but Wags cannot be used on the same item and you can’t have more coupons than items purchased so you have to buy a filler to go along with the number of coupons you have. I just wish they would all do them the same way.

    • Emma

I did the Huggies deal today, was able to use (3) RA Huggies q and (3) man. in one transaction. The store I use is always great about taking all q’s and doing as many or few transactions as I want, depending on how many $5/20 or $5/25 I have, today I only had one, but it was a great trip using the deals Jenny listed. Thank you!

    • Liz

Woo hoo! Got 3 packs of Pure & Naturals and two boxes of wipes for $18, with $11 SCR to come- so a total of $7! Not bad!

    • Carolyn

You can get more $5 off $25 coupons by signing up at myriteaid.com. after you register you will get an email directing you back to the website to print $50 in coupons. You have to print them blindly but there is a $5 off $25 at the end. When you go to print and your prompt asks you how many copies put in as many as you need

    • Jen

ATTN: HIRAM GA SHOPPERS, the Rite Aid on Hwy. 278/92 in Hiram did not get the Proantinox in. The Rite Aid on Ridge Rd. does have it. The manager that checked me out at the Hwy. 278 store is AWESOME. She gave me my two dollars for a coupon that she missed scanning and let me substitute one kind of wipes for another.

I used the “scenario for everything” Jenny listed with one subsitituion for the Northern toilet paper (which we needed!). Spent $32.22 incl tax, $20.99 SCR and $5 rebate to come, total OOP = $5.23. Thanks Jenny!! I love free diapers and wipes!!

    • CYNDI

Was able to use all the diaper coupons at Rite Aid and also found out from the super nice cashier that Rite Aid takes other store coupons, not sure if this is just in our area or all Rite Aids but worth asking!

    • how can i get more of the $5 off $20 or $25?

    • Alison V.

I live in Chattanooga, does anyone have any recommendations on a “nice” RA to go to? the associates at the one near me on broad st couldn’t wait to NOT help me the other day and didn’t have any answers to any of my questions. thanks!

    • cherlyn

the rite aid I went to would not take the $2.00 Rite Aid and the Manuf. coupon. Manager said both were manuf coupons even though the code begins with RC. I may try a different store today.

    • Andrea

I used 4 manufacturer and 4 RA coupons for the Huggies (the diapers only scenario). No problems at all. I broke it up into 2 transactions so that I could use 2 of the $5 off $20 Qs. Cashier was super nice and didn’t give me a minute’s grief (Lawrenceville, GA). Awesome deal. Thanks Jenny! I can use all of the diaper deals I can get!

      • Sue

Which Lawrenceville Rite Aid do you go to?

    • Zipporah

I went to one RA today and I got some grief from the manager about stacking a RA q with a Manuf q. I then went back home, printed the corporate q policy and he STILL wouldn’t let me use them. Afterwards, I went to another one and the cashier scanned them without even blinking an eye! It definitely does matter which store/cashier you use. It just ticks me off that the manager doesn’t even know the store policy. I will be corporate tomorrow to let them know they need to do a little more education for their employees.

For future reference, here’s a copy of the q policy that I found online:

    • Natalie

I’m having a hard time getting the $2 off any Huggies Diaper related product printable (IE) or printable (FF) to print. Is anyone else having a problems with that one? And how do I get it to work. I’ve printed from coupons.com before and it has always worked, but this time it just says “Please Wait” and nothing happens.

    • How can you print more than one coupon for the $2.00 off Huggies any product? It says I reached my limit.

    • How do i get the PG savers booklet? or at least get the next one of those that come out?

    • Beth

My Rite Aid accepted all my rite aid q’s and manufacturer q’s for the diaper deal. No problem at all! It’s great getting FREE diapers and wipes!!! Thanks, Jenny!

    • MarySC

I just found out that if you get a rain check for a rebate item, as long as you purchase the item within 30 days AND you make sure that the cashier enters a “rain check code” when you do buy, you qualify for the SCR. Unfortunately you have to either fax or mail in since the receipt requires “manual processing”. A clerk told me this and I confirmed it on the Rite Aid FAQ page.

    • Debi

I used this deal last week – I found the SCR for Huggies online and did this on Friday – the cashier said she could take them b/c they said Rite Aid and were therefore store Qs. She took them. The only problem I just realized is I printed them 3 times from the same email…I didn’t see where it said I could only print once…what will happen?!?!

    • Annamarie

I printed 3 copies of the RIte Aid coupons at the same time. It worked out fine so I just did it. Oh well.
I returned from Rite Aid and got the three packs of diapers for $15.56 including tax. After the $10 rebate it will be $5.56!!! Cheapest diapers I’ve ever bought!!!

    • Sue

I don’t see the Mega pack of GoodNites in the flier. Did I just miss it? What is the sale price of that?

    • Misty

#49 Natalie You should see a line similar to this…

about 3/4 of the way into the line you should see =vi&o=

if you are using internet explorer try replacing the vi with wi, leave everything else the same
for firefox replace the vi with vg or wg
for safari replace the vi with xs
hit return and it should print for you

    • Michelle

I read the Rite-Aid coupon policy from the link in post #48. It says:

Internet coupons must have a valid barcode that scans successfully into the register. [and]
Manual entry is not permitted for internet coupons that do not scan.

When I went to Rite-Aid yesterday to get the Johnson & Johnson products, none of my internet coupons scanned. The cashier entered them manually. If this is the case, then I guess she got in trouble, and I would have been very angry if they hadn’t accepted them. These were legitimate coupons that I got for following the link that Jenny posted to register for these Johnson & Johnson coupons. Ugh!

    • amelia

I registered at myriteaid.com and there was not a 5 off 25 Q. just toothpaste and baking soda q’s. I must have done something wrong. Very disappointing

    • Tina

The Dalton, GA RA took all coupons, but they didn’t want to. I told the cashier that I would call corporate tomorrow to verify that the RA coupons can be stacked with the manf coupons(for future reference) and she said “well it’s too late now.” She was the shift manager too. Not only do these people need to be educated on coupon policy they also need to be educated on customer service.

    • jade

Went to Rite Aid in Albany & got the awesome diaper deal.
Got a pack of pure natural & a regular pk of Huggies + 2 boxes of wipes.

      Used $5 off $20
      $2 off rite aid
      $3 off pure & natural
$2 off huggies product x3 (1 for reg diapers & 2 for wipes

      Total was $11

Will do the same deal again tomorrow and spend $22 for both purchases, get my rebates and end up w/4 pk of diapers & 4 boxes of wipes for $11

Best diaper deal in a long time! THANKS!

    • Ann

My Rite Aid in Atlanta had no problem accepting all of the coupons. The manager said I could use them as long as they scan and the register accepts them. I was more surprised that there were plenty of the Pure and Natural in stock. I usually have to drive all over town just to find the deals in stock.

    • erin

RA in winder Ga was awesome great CS. they were out of the sizes I needed so she said go ahead and get tthe othersizes and she will exchange them when they get back in stock. All Q’s accepted.

      plus $10 back for huggies
      $2 back for pampers
      $1 back for wipes
this should make everything FREE FREE FREE!
I did it for my mom’s address too so double that!

    • Anyone know of a zipcode I can enter to get $3 pure & natural q from coupons.com? I’m not seeing it!

    • Brandy

I had a not great and not so bad experience this morning and the Rite Aid in Lexington. The Asst. Manager said that I couldn’t use all three of my manufacturer’s coupons for the diapers since it says one per purchase. I tried to explain to her that each one was a purchase and that the entire thing was one transaction. She told me I would have to ring them separate in order to use each coupon and of course that would mean I wouldn’t be able to use my $5 off $20 coupon. She then proceeded to tell me that she didn’t have to ring me separate and that she could limit me to only one coupon for all three if she wanted to. I went ahead and let her ring my up separate for the diapers and the wipes, which of course held up the line. I shouldn’t complain too much because after using what was left on my gift card I didn’t pay but about $10 OOP and will still get $11 back from the rebates.

Does anyone know if Rite Aid has all of a sudden changed their policy? This is the first time I have been there in a while and I don’t want to waste my time if I’m going to have to deal with that.

Thinking I will call the manager tomorrow to ask exactly what their policy is.

    • has anyone tried the deal with diapers at the florenceSC Rite-aid- I have never used Rite-Aid and wanted to check before I printed coupons and went…

    • Natalie

Misty, #57, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! It worked perfectly!

Petrina, #64, I couldn’t find it on coupons.com either. However, if you got to the Smart Source link on the right side of the page at the top you can print it from there.

    • lynn

Thanks Jenny! Perfect transaction! i did four diaper deals, 2 transactions and stacked ManQ w/ RA Q + (2) $5/$20. The cashier jokingly told me she was tired of ringing up Huggies–no problems with coupons! This was only my second RA trip, being more of a CVS gal, I like my ECB printing instantly. Have to be patient and work with the SCR system!! LOL! Even without the SCR the diaper deal would have been great anyway!

    • Aulora

Alison V. – I did the diaper deal at the Rite Aid on 153 in Hixson without any problems today. The manager who checked me out does coupons herself so she even had many tips for me – including the fact that we can use those receipts toward their fall deal giving gift cards for so much spent. She was so nice and helpful – I highly recommend that Rite Aid. She also mentioned that her sister manages the Rite Aid in East Ridge I believe.

    • sc lady

I went to Rite-Aid in Summerville, SC today. There was a lady there before 10 when they opened who went in first and grabbed ALL the pure and natural diapers and wipes and then turned to us all behind her and said “Oh well, that’s it – hope there’s more in the back”

I didn’t count how many packages she had, but her cart was overflowing. You can only do one rebate per household, and she was standing in the corner waiting on someone else to get there to split up her order, but she still had way more than 2 deals.

Every customer after she left commented about it, and a couple people said “Well, that’s southern savers for you, all the employees at all the stores are getting sick of that site”

I felt so bad. I said – “Oh no, that IS NOT SOUTHERN SAVERS!”

Let’s please remember NOT to use Jenny’s name or site in an offensive manner like that. I spoke up and stated Jenny never advocates the smash and grab mentalilty of some couponing sites and PLEASE, PLEASE know that is not her policy.

I hate to see something as wonderful as Southern Savers get such a bad rap.

Afetr I left there I went to Walgreen’s and spoke to the manager there who happened to check me out and she had the same nasty feelings about SS – I told her I had personally met Jenny and been to her class and that these are people who are abusing her site and name. She said she understood after dealing with some of the same type rude people from another site I won’t name.

Please don’t smash and grab, and please don’t use this site name if you do – that is not what Jenny is about and it is not fair to those of us who are truly trying to save money legitimatly and without making huge scenes.

This is precisely why Publix has had to scrutinize every coupon too. The ones in Summerville take Food Lion coupons – but not Harvey’s Everyday, according to the manager there is someone trying to do Harevy’s. There is not a Harvey’s at least 50 miles around here, probably more than 100 miles away. That is not a legitimate competitor.

When the stores start limiting how many items you can buy, and stop accepting coupons due to abuse – it is going to be because of people like this who abuse the system. It is not fair to those of us who follow the rules and are trying to be honest.

    • mel

      well said SC lady

    • Sarah

i am new to SCR, can someone please explain to me how (2) tresemme and (2)V05 gets me the $5 rebate??

      **Jenny Here**
The Tresemma/V05 is one sCR deal together for any of the products listed the Rebate is $5 back wyb $10 in the select products made by that company so grab 2 tresemme at $4 ea and then two $1 v05 to hit your $10 mark.

    • Debbie

I agree with you and I have had so many people come up and tell me (when they see I am a couponer with my books) did you know you can use the Crest Whitestrips Q’s on Tide? They just open a door when they do that for to explain how that hurts them, me and other Q’ers to do those sorts of things. I tell them when the Q’s are lousey and none of the big companies are putting out good ones anymore, we can blame those kind of Q’ers for it. I always do it such a way that I assume they didn’t know it was wrong. Most people do not know, they think it is okay as long as the first 5 digits match. I have been amazed at all the people telling me thank you so much b/c I didn’t know. Say it nicely and you may win them over to “good” couponing!

    • Sharan

FYI – The Rite Aid on McCallie Avenue in Chattanooga has some 5 of 20 coupons on their flyer rack – it’s a tri-fold pamphlet w/ the coupon on the inside

    • Rose

I’m trying to do the Scenario for Everything, but I’ve reached a limit on the $2 Huggies coupons. Can I just make copies of the coupons I have so that I’ll have enough for the scenario? Would they all scan ok in the store?

    • monette

Jade– #61, which albany store did you go to and where’d you get the $5 off coupon? God bless.

    • Kim

I have a question. I received the huggies mailer that had a coupon that states “Buy both (1)package of Huggies Diapers AND (1)package of Wipes and Get $5.00 off….can I use

      -3.00 pure & natural diapers
      -2.00 huggies diaper product
      and the
      -5.00 purchase of both?

of do I have to choose….

    • Rose

I’m trying to do the Scenario for Everything, and I have reached the limit for printable $2 Huggies coupons. Can I make copies of the coupons I have? Would they scan ok?

      • Jenny

Please don’t ever make copies of a printable coupon whether it is from Rite Aid’s site or coupons.com. The coupons.com coupons and others from other sites like that have a lot of security features in them and they will not be reimbursed to the store when they are sent to the clearing house.

    • frances

I CANT FIND THE 5/20 OFF COUPON! PLEASE HELP ME? It looks as though others have found the same problem – I’d like to print it so I can go do the deal scenarios today – thank you! Please someone help?

    • Has anyone registered for the SCR program using a PO box? It says US addresses only, but it doesn’t say no PO boxes . . . just curious.

    • Jen

Did my shopping trip yesterday specifically for the diaper/wipe deal. I did have some OOP spending, but wound up picking up some items I did not plan on. Here’s my scenario, all bought in one transaction, all coups accepted:

3 packs Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers
      2 containers of Huggies Wipes
      2 Sunday Newspapers
      Tabletop Charcoal Grill
Set of bouncy balls for children (ranges in sizes from small to large)
      Bubble gum

      Total before discounts/coupons/rebates: $71.46
      Total after above: $1.54

      Great week at Rite Aid!

    • Zipporah

PO Boxes definitely work. I started last month (with a PO box) and my check came when it was supposed to

    • nc girl

Hey all – new at this, but where would I find the 5/20 coupon for rite aid? thanks all!

    • Angel

#70 SC Lady – Well said! Guess I won’t waste my time going to the Summerville store today like I had planned. Remember, couponing friends … we reap what we sow!

    • Marina

I did the Tresemme and VO5 Deal and my VO5 rang up as $.99 instead of $1. So that leaves me with $9.98 instead of $10. Am I still eligible for the $5 SCR? Did this happen to anyone else?

    • sloan

I didn’t have some of the coupons listed in the “Scenario for Everything” so I came up with this, hope it will work. Never tried Rite Aid before….

      $11 Diapers (-$3, -$2)
      $2.50 Wipes (-$2)
      $4 Tresemme (-$2)
      $4 Tresemme (-$1)
      TOT OOP: $7.50 + tax

      $11 Diapers (-$3, -$2)
      $4.50 Clean and Clear (-$3, -$2)
      $4.50 Clean and Clear (-$3, -$2)
      $1 VO5
      $1 VO5
      TOT OOP: $2 + tax

      $11 Diapers (-$3, -$2)
      $2.50 wipes (-$2)
      $6.99 Proantinox (-$3)
      TOT OOP: $5.49

      Total OOP for 3 trans:
      $14.99 + tax
      -10 SCR Diapers
      -1 SCR Wipes
      -5 SCR Shampoo
      -6.99 Proantinox
      = $8 Profit!

    • Dee

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but where do you find the $2 Rite Aid coupon for diapers? I have looked all through the ad, but do not see it. What am I missing? Thanks!

    • Meredith

I just registered for SCR for the first time. When I enter my receipt do I need to enter it again in my gift of savings account, or does it automatically do that?

    • Julie

I went to the RA in Ooltewah (TN) and they were sold out of wipes and 3’s, 4’s and 5’s Huggies by lunch time Sunday. The cashier said there was a line Sunday morning when they opened. He wasn’t sure when they’d get more in stock. I checked today, still gone.

Someone mentioned a rain check….so I’m assuming I can go back today and ask for a 3/$33 raincheck?

    • nc girl, I posted a reply about the 5/20 coupon on the other topic (more drugstore freebies).

Meredith, My total was transferred automatically to both programs. I entered them for Single Check Rebates and then when I tried to enter the receipts under the Gift of Savings program, it said I already had entered that information. To play it safe, you might want to enter your receipts under Gift of Savings. I know that screen says the information will also be recorded for the SCR.

    • Holly

      Marina –

The same thing happened to me. I bought 2 Tresemme and 2 VO5 but I didn’t realize until I got home that the VO5 rang up at .99 each so I only spent $9.98.

I also want to know if I will still get the rebate. The ad specifically said that VO5 was 10/$10.

      Thanks for any input.

    • Holly

GOOSE CREEK, SC – For anyone who cares…

The new Rite Aid is completely out of Huggies Pure & Natural & the extra soft while light bulbs but the old Rite Aid is fully stocked with both. Both stores are completely out of the wipes and the Proantinox.

The cashier told me that the truck was coming tomorrow so if you were planning on shopping today (Monday), I’d suggest waiting until tomorrow.

I did transactions at both stores and had no problems with stacking coupons, etc.

    • Kim

Anyone know the answer to this….I’d like to stop by RA on the way home….

    • Kim, you have to choose. You can buy diapers and wipes and use either the $3 and $2, or you can buy both and use the $5. Because all the coupons came from the manufacturer, you can’t stack them.

    • Tara

Just so you know, the Summerville SC store WILL NOT be getting anymore diapers in before the sale is over (next Tuesday or Wednesday she said). So go and get a raincheck if you can’t get to another store. That’s what I did.

    • Jennifer

I received a coupon for 20% at rite aid. It says not valid on sales prices. Has anybody tried to use this on sale prices? Like for the Huggies deal? I can’t find the $5off $25 coupon anywhere. Thanks.

    • Tina

I have used the 20% coupon on sale prices with no problem.

    • Stacey

Thanks for posting this deal Jenny…you are truly AWESOME!!!

I got 4 packs of Huggies, 1 pack of Pampers, 2 boxes of wipes and 4 Tag body sprays…

The total for everything will cost about $10 in the end…you seriously can not get a better deal than that!!!

      THANKS AGAIN!!!!

    • RM

Jenny please forgive me if this has already been asked but on the gift of savings promotion is the gift card given based on before or after coupon totals? Thanks for all you do. I am happy I was able to get the diapers for shower gifts! Thanks again.

    • Rebecca

MY SS 8/23 does not have the huggies pure and natural coupons? anybody else have this issue

    • BROOK

when printing the rite aid coupons after watching vidoes, i always put down 2 copies to print. they have the same bar code on the coupons, so will these be valid to use both in the store?

    • Michelle

I’m not finding the Huggies Pure & Natural printable coupon. Is there a certain zip code I should use, or is the coupon gone?

      Thank you!

    • Donna

I walked out in tears today at rite-aid because of how rude the cashier was to me. She said I was breaking the law and so were all other couponers because I was trying to use my coupon for “any huggies diaper product” on my wipes for my son. She said it is only for diapers and I kept saying no its for diaper products. I ended not buying any diapers or wipes. I have never had anyone be so mean and rude to me like this lady was. As I was leaving she said ” nothing in this world is free!” I have had a horrible experience today but Im glad others have had success.

      • Sue

        Wow. What store was that?

        • Donna, I am sorry you had that problem. My RiteAid would not take that $2 off for the wipes either; however, she was nice about it. I asked her if she could over ride it and she said no because her register would not balance then. I figured it was still a good deal for wipes so I bought them anyway and with the fall savings, I am still making money on RiteAid. However, I would email / complain to RiteAid corporate about this treatment. No one should ever be rude to you and make you feel so bad you should cry. Corporate may even send you something for your troubles.

    • Damien

The Huggies Pure and Natural coupon on coupons.com is gone now, but there is still one on smartsource.com.

Oh and I have been wondering if I would get trouble for trying to use the Huggies diapering product coupon… now I am even more nervous after hearing what happened to you Donna. I hope I have better luck.

Though I did have a funny situation Saturday when I went to use my $10 gift certificate that I got for the Zyrtec rewards program, the manager (who had to be called to put the ACT II Popcorn Balls coupon through) looked over the gift certificate for like 3-4 minutes reading every bit of it because it did not say “on any purchase” on the certificate and it mentioned the Zyrtec Rewards… I said, “It is just a regular Rite-Aid gift certificate” and “Just try scanning it and it should go through” several times before she finally tried scanning it and then it came up on the screen as “$10 off any purchase”… it was humorous how long she spent reading it and pondering it before finally trying to scan it like I suggested several times.

    • Damien

      RM (POST 100),

The Fall Gift of Savings thing is before coupons… I have like $64 towards it already from my last two weeks of shopping at Rite-Aid… even though I have only spent like $20-30 and will have spent pretty much nothing after SCRs. The Diapers were a specially nice deal!!!

All in all a great couple of weeks for these young parents:

      -Diapers for $1/Jumbo pack
-5 Johnson and Johnsons Products for Free
-Gonna get wipes for free tomorrow if the coupon is accepted
-11 V05 Shampoos and Conditioners for $5.89 (they had them priced at .99 at our Rite-Aid)
-2 Free Popcorn Balls (they were .50 at our Rite-Aid)
-Free M&Ms from the Free Chocolate Friday

      • Damien

You’re welcome. I just started shopping at CVS and Rite-Aid at the beginning of August and I have been loving it! I have gotten so much free/ super cheap stuff from them that I hardly ever buy any non-food items that they sell anywhere else anymore. I have not gotten into Walgreens as much because there is only so much that 2 parents and one baby need and I like CVS better from what I have seen and think 2 drug stores is enough to keep up with for us… especially when you think you’ve got to keep those RRs and ECBs straight and make sure you use them all before they expire if you do both CVS and Walgreens.

Oh and the $2 off Huggies Diaper Product was not accepted at Rite-Aid for wipes when I went there today (last night technically). It did not ring up when it was scanned and I wasn’t about to put up a fight for a coupon that I was not even so sure myself if it was meant to be used for wipes. 2 for $4 is still a pretty good deal for wipes… plus it will go towards my Rake in the Savings total.

    • Lauren

Donna, I’m so sorry about your terrible experience. You might try a different rite aid if you have another nearby. The rite aid in my town in TN is also very mean, they look at me like I’m trying to rob a bank with any coupon I give them. One time they told me I was trying to “work the system.” However, the rite aid in my neighboring town is awesome, they even give me coupon pointers! They are very liberal with their coupon policy and will pretty much take anything I give them, in any number of transactions I want. This week was wonderful, here’s the breakdown:

      1. Huggies Pure and Natural diapers x2
Paid after coupons, with tax: 8.52

      2. Huggies Pure and Natural diapers x1
      Huggies Wipes x2
Paid after coupons, with tax: 7.98

      3. Nabisco cookies and crackers x6
      Pampers jumbo pack x1
      Clean and Clear x2
      Reese’s peanut butter cups x4
Paid after coupons, with tax: 7.14

      4. Poise liners x2
      Sally Hansen nail polish x1
      Tag body spray x2
      Reese’s peanut butter cups x2
Paid after coupons, with tax: 4.68

Total product value (before tax):93.34…..after tax:100.79
      total OOP (with tax): 28.32
      total spent after SCR: 2.32

Plus, 93.34 towards gift of savings, which will put me over $100 after last week’s free Johnson and Johnson deal, getting me another $20 gift card (actually, I spent 6.00 on the J and J deal because I didn’t have 3 coupons, plus $3 in tax). Also gets me my third sally hansen item to get my glam camp bag (spent 2.98 on all 3 items). Plus, 6 boxes of Nabisco cookies and crackers to go towards the Kraft $20 back to school rebate. A great week for me!

      • Jennifer

        Hey Lauren,
I just called Rite Aid before I read your post they said the Fall Savings program amount is after coupons, like your subtotal. Have you heard different? Thanks

        • The qualifying amount that Rite Aid has posted to my account, is my total before coupons . . .

          • Jennifer

Thanks. That is great news. Hopefully mine will show up them as well. I just entered them!

    • Lauren

      Nabisco deal:
Rite Aid has the 4oz nabisco boxes on sale for 0.99 with a $1 SCR wyb 2 (can do this three times). Use (3) $1/2 coupons from Kraft back to school rebate booklet, get 6 boxes FREE after SCR. The small boxes count for the $20 Kraft back to school rebate deal. Wheat thins are on sale at CVS and Kroger and there are $1/1 coupons out there for wheat Thins. Capri Sun and Easy Mac cups are on sale at Kroger this week too. I got my 10 boxes of cookies and crackers, 5 Capri Suns, and 5 Easy Mac cups for 15.66 after tax between Rite Aid, CVS, and Kroger and will get $20 back (I didn’t have any coupons for Capri Sun or Easy Mac)!

    • RM

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I have been doing the Walgreen’s and cvs but not so much the rite aid but I’ve got to tell ya I am loving the rite aid. And I am very fortunate because everyone is so nice at all of our rite-aids and very helpful. When I read some of te problems that others have it makes me sad.Evidently these employees have no idea that as coupon users we have done our homework before we even step into the store. We are only using the coupons that are available to everyone.

    • Kellie

ok, While I get some really great deals at Rite-Aid, the inconsistency with their coupon policies will drive you nuts!! Here is the official Rite-Aid Coupon Policy:

There is also a really great thread regarding this here (posted previously):

Now, here is a problem I had this am… I go to Ad-Perks and listen to who knows how many commercial videos to earn my Rite-Aid Coupons and $5-$20 purchase. The cashier tells me this A.M. that if I use the $5/$20 order Rite-Aid coupon that I can not use ANY other coupons with my order because at the bottom that prints out blurry and unreadable it says “May not be combined with any other offer.” I called customer service and was told this was true! Also, if I dig deeper into the Official Coupon Policy it states “Only one internet coupon is accepted for each item, unless coupled with a manufacturer’s or valuable coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.” With this being true, then it would be against their policy to print out one of these Ad-Perks Rite-Aid coupons and couple it with a non-Rite-Aid manufacturer’s coupon. For example with the Huggies Diaper deal they have going on right now… If you buy 2 packs of diapers at $11 each, then want to use (2) of the $2/1 manufacturer’s coupons, (2) of the $2 off Rite-Aid Ad-Perks coupons with the $5/$20 purchase…. According to their policy, it violates 2 of their coupon policies; incorrect coupling of 2 coupons for 1 item and using any other coupons with the $5/20 purchase. It doesn’t matter if your $2/1 manufacturer’s coupons are IP’s or cut from a newspaper. Rite-Aid must consider their own Ad-Perk coupon an “Internet Coupon” since it doesn’t come out of the “circular”. Now, this is my own interpretation from what I read.

Jenny and other Southern Savers, If anyone reads differently, please let me know.

Note: Just last week this same supervisor told me as I was trying to buy 10 Johnson&Johnson products with 10 coupons that I could not use more than 1 Johnson&Johnson coupon because it said “Limit one per purchase”. Each item is a purchase, the items equal a transaction. Each item had one coupon therefore I was in compliance. I confronted her with this this A.M. and she grimaced and said nothing. I have given the store 2 tries and I think I will just have to find another Rite-Aid that is a little more coupon friendly.

I’m just frustrated because EVERY cashier tells me a different thing and we work too hard for these deals only to keep getting the stop sign when we think we’ve found a good deal. I just wish that ALL stores would be knowledgeable and consistent with their coupon policies!

      ok, rant done :-)

    • Michelle

I need one more printable Q for the Huggies and can’t find any anywhere! It wasn’t in my 08/23 SS, either.

    • jordan

Just had great success with the coupons.
Bought 3 Huggies Pure & Natural at 3 for $33.
      Used the $5 off coupon.
Used 3 of the $3 off Huggies Pure & Natural coupons.
Used 2 of the $2 off Rite Aid Huggies coupons.
With the $10 rebate check, that should be all three jumbo packs for $5 plus tax.
      Thanks for all the pointers!

    • Marina

The Tresemme & V05 deal does not work because they have V05 priced at $99 instead of $1.
So you would have to buy another shampoo/conditioner to reach the $10 mark.

      • Marina

Even though I spent only $9.98 it still qualified me for the $5 rebate!! WooHoo!!

    • Jennifer

DON’T USE the 20% off coupon if you get one for the diapers. It will give you 20% of the regular price not the sale price!!! I thought my total seemed high but didn’t notice what happened until I left!

    • Heather

you may have already posted this, but PLEASE MAKE SURE you notice the glam camp offer if you buy any sally hansen, maybelline, etc…I am going to follow up with this one since I used two of my $1.00 NYC products Q’s on their b1g1. The glam camp bag will be a Christmas gift for my 14 year old!

      • nc girl

what is the glam camp bag? I’d love to qualify!

    • Christy

I bought clearance Sally H nail polish for about 75 cents for 3 after coupons and it counted towards the glam camp bag.

    • Kellie

A shift supervisor told me that if I use the $5/$20 order Rite-Aid coupon that I can not use ANY other coupons with my order because at the bottom that prints out blurry and unreadable it says “May not be combined with any other offer.” I called customer service and was told this was true! If anyone knows differently, please let me know.

Hey Kellie! I’m not sure about the rules, but I really think it depends on where you go. I have one Rite Aid that I go to, and I only deal with the store manager there. He seems to know EVERYTHING about the coupons, so if I’m in the wrong, he doesn’t mind telling me, and I won’t argue. However, like with the Huggies deals, I’ve used a $/$$ coupon and a RA in ad coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon and I’ve never had any issues. And I don’t know if this is right or not, but I never feel bad bc like I said, the store manager seems to know what he’s doing, and I never have issues with that. Good luck with your future Rite Aid en devours!

        • Kellie

I think you are right Amy! There is another store I have been too and the manager rang me up and he was so nice and even made sure to tell me about the Rake in the Savings promotion. I can’t believe corporate would agree that no other coupons can be used with the $5 off a $25 order coupon! She just kept saying “ma’am, but your’re not spending the money to get the money off” so I said “So you’re telling me it’s ok to spend $50, use $25 in coupons and then I can use my $5/20 order?” She said “no ma’am, you’re missing the point. You aren’t spending the money to get the coupon” She’s right, I wasn’t getting it and still don’t! Then my cell phone dropped the call and I just didn’t want to bother going through it all again. Her logic made no sense. I just get frustrated when I’m already pressed for time, stop by the store and then get the stop sign for something that should be ok. Then it makes NO sense for Rite-Aid not to accept manufacturer’s coupons when they get reimbursed for them. They are cheating themselves out of a sale, not the “couponing customer.” They have simply lost business, but the “couponing customer” will more than likely take their business to another Rite_Aid. Their inconsistencies are frustrating. I think I’m just going to have to limit going to that store and avoid the others. I appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Rite aid does not consider any coupon printed from their website as an “internet” coupon. Just an FYI :)

    • Kellie

Let me add that SOME Rite-Aid’s are coupon friendly and will work with you to get the great deals, but just wanted to put this out there for anyone else that might run into this problem. It won’t stop me from shopping at Rite-Aid, but I am now aware if I have a cashier give me the stop sign.

By the way Jenny… I can’t thank you enough for all that you do on this site!!

    • Elizabeth

The rite aid coup I printed off of the video values says “Coupon redemption paid by manufacturer.” So, is it really a store coupon?

    • MarySC

Be sure to keep ALL your Rite Aid receipts for the “rake in the savings” program. They use the retail price of all products (with no deductions for coupons!!), so accumulating the 25, 50, or 100 dollar spending amounts is really easy. There is a link to the “Rake in the Savings” program on the left side of the Rewards page. You do have to register for the program and enter your non-SCR receipts– SCR receipts are automatically put in once you register.

I already have over $50 after doing just the diaper and wipe deal once and buying some clearance toys!! That’s another $10 off which means the diapers were completely free.

      • Christy

        Thanks for the tip!!

Only some are like that… others are very friendly and helpful… it really does vary from store to store. In Montgomery, there is one store that always looks at me weird when I use a bunch of coupons (though they have never given me any trouble) and there is another store that has been very helpful and friendly with my couponing… it really does vary from store to store. I am sorry you went to a bad rite-aid… don’t let that discourage you because there are some good ones out there.

So sorry to hear of your experience, it can be very frustrating. I’m in Dickson, TN and have had GREAT experience at the Rite Aid here (and CVS & WAGS). Very helpful cashiers…one of the ladies was actually asking about the websites and was going to look into getting some good deals for herself. Pretty funny!

    • Dianna

I had a GREAT experience at the Rite Aid in Laurens, SC last night. I did 2 transactions and used (2) $5/20, (3)$2 Rite Aid, (3) $3 Huggies Natural, (1)$.50 Nestle Water, and (1)$2 A&D diaper ointment.

      OOP: $17
      Rebate: $10
      Total spent: $7

Oh, and I bought a box of $.99 vanilla wafers for my husband!

I have never shopped Rite Aid before with coupons, but I’ll do it again sometime. Great experience! Thanks Jenny!

Right now the 4oz boxes of Wheat Thins are $0.99. I used my 2 printable $1/1 box of ANY Wheat Thins and got them for free. Plus, they qualify for scr# 90: purchase any 2 Nabisco cookies or crackers get $1 scr. I made $1.02 with this transaction. There is a limit of (3) $1 rebates also! Plus, Electrasol/Finish dishwashing detergent is on sale for $2.99 this week. Buy the Finish Quantum tabs and pair with your $0.75/1 coupon from past newspaper plus get scr# 87 to get $1.50 rebate and get the product for $0.75 after coupon and scr! Both the Nabisco and Finish/Electrasol rebates are good though 9/26.

      • Kellie

Thank you so much for pointing this out!

    • Stephanie

do the products still qualify for scr’s if you pay for your purchase with a gift card?

Does anybody know of a good coupon friendly Rite Aid in the Birmingham,AL area?

      • Amy

Hey Stephanie! Yes, Rite Aid doesn’t care how you pay for it (coupons, cash, GCs) as long as you get the product.

I’m not sure about a RA in AL, I live in NC so I couldn’t help ya there… Sorry!

      • Becky

I love the Rite Aid on the corner of Valleydale Road & Hwy 31 South in Pelham. There is one older cashier that is super to deal with in terms of coupons. If I go in and see only the younger whippersnappers that don’t want to deal with coupons (or anything else),then I just leave and come back when she’s there. It’s close to my house, so I drop in and when I see her, she really makes me feel welcome with my coupons.

tried 2 Rite Aids in Greenville for this deal. On Monday one store did not have the proantinox, but the manager said they would be getting it on tuesday, so I left my diapers and wipes because I had a “plan” and wanted to use my $5/20. Well by tuesday, they didnt have any diapers left in the size I needed. Also this store (in Easley) gave me grief about my coupons. The cashier insisted that the adperk printables were Manf. coupons and that I couldnt stack them. This was my first time shopping at Rite Aid and I failed to point out that even their IN AD coupons say Manf on the top and they clearly dont have a problem with stacking those. Maybe it was a printable coupon issue, now that I am reading the coupon policy reference above. The manager did come over and let me use all my coupons. Had to make three different trips to get everything, but still to be seen whether the $9.98 for shampoo will qualify for the rebate. Was hoping to get more diapers with coupons, even without the rebate – it makes a good deal Only $1 OOP for 1pk diapers, 2 pks wipes, and 1 clean and clear with all the coupons!

      • Stacy

I just checked, and I got the $5 shampoo rebate even though I only spent $9.98.

    • Alissabeth

I need a little clarification. The Huggies Diapers, Trainers or Goodnights are $11 ea with the $10 Rebate WYB 3, but the Goodnights also have the $2 Rebate wyb 1. So, if I buy 3 of any and then 1 goodnight, I will get a $12 rebate?

This will actually be my first attempt at RA. I need the diapers!! :-)

      • Jenny

They are two different size packages, one for the jumbo and one for the mega so I don’t think they will overlap. Sorry.

        • Alissabeth

I didn’t read correctly the first time and this new reply in the post didn’t register in my brain! Came back to check it and saw the size difference. Oops. Maybe I’ll take on of my diapers back! I may get the Pampers instead, since I have the $2 MQ for that, because $5.99 is cheaper than $9!!

I had an outstanding trip to Riteaid yesterday. I have never really shopped in there but decided to for the Huggies deal this week. However when I got pulled into parking lot realized that I had left my coupon box at home. But i decided to go in anyway to check out clearance aisle. And boy did I find some HOT deals. They had school supplies for 75% off and summer items for 90% off. I walked out of there with 138 items for 100.60!!!! Best deal was—sunscreen for 90% off !!! Average price paid for sunscreen was .90–unbelievable. The cashier was super nice although we had to price change almost every item because clearance prices were not ringing up. She kept apologizing to me and I told her that I didn’t mind waiting because I was getting unbelievable deals!! I am returning tomorrow with my coupons in hand–plan on getting my Huggies and also saw several Tylenol items for 75% offf and want to use Q’s to get them for Free. Best news is that I just saw the Fall into Savings program and I will be getting the $20 gift card–almost too good to be true. Thanks Riteaid!

      • sloan

watch expiration dates on sunscreen, sometimes it goes on clearance right before it is about to expire.

        • Meredith

I did-they expire 9/10. But, I have used expired sunscreen in the past (without knowing it) and no one got burned. I really think its a gimmick to get folks to buy new.

    • sloan

anyone having trouble with the adperks site? I keep getting an error, tried from the link above and direct from the riteaid.com website

    • Sue

How do I get the Rite Aid video coupon 3 times? After I printed the first one it doesn’t even show up on my list of available videos.

    • Gail

I have not gotten my rebate check from Rite Aid for August. Anyone else still waiting? It said the check was dated 9/11/09. That was 13 days ago. I wished they would not send out the checks in post card form for everyone to look at. Anyway, just wondering if there were others who have not gotten theirs yet.

      • Susan

Mine, my mom’s, and my sister’s were all dated 9/11/09, too, and none of us have received them yet. They will come!

        • Gail

I called Rite Aid to find out their policy on how they re-issue another check. They wait 30 days from the date the first check was sent out.

Just good info. to know if your check never reaches your mailbox.

    • Terri

If you live in the Chattanooga, TN area. I highly recommend the Rite-Aid in Red Bank. The manager was fabulous. I went in for the Huggies deal and he actually asked me if I had any additional coupons like the $2 off from the ad perks videos. I had forgotten to get it out of my coupon stack when I gave him the other coups. He was amazing. He actually asked me about where I learned to save so much money and what websites I used. I will be driving out of my way now to shop at this store more often!:)

    • Blakely

Tried to do diaper deal yesterday in NE Columbia. They had plenty of diapers but cashier would not take internet coupons that were over $3.00 in a t’action, including the $5 Rite Aid coupon. Claimed Rite Aid did not take internet coupons that exceeded $3, even those from Rite Aid. I just left store and did not do deal – not worth arguing over.

      • Casey

Well, that cashier is totally wrong. Rite aid’s internet coupon policy is one $5 internet coupon per product and their internet coupons don’t actually qualify as “internet coupons”

        • Margie

The Rite Aid on Rosewood took everything with no problem. :)

    • Allison

my RiteAid in Sugar Hill, GA is awesome – did the diaper and wipe deal and she accepted each and every coupon. i dont shop there very often – unless teh deals are great – but always have a wonderful experience.

    • Sue

Adperks won’t take my registration. It says validation failed. What am I doing wrong??
