rosetta stone

There is a HUGE savings on Rosetta Stone right now, that you really don’t want to miss.  It’s still a little pricey but I will personally say that this is a great program and well worth it!

Right now you can get the Rosetta Stone Homeschool Course for all 5 levels of any language for only $179 (reg. $479).  It also includes free shipping.  Normally one year costs $120, so you are basically buying 5 years of spanish curriculum for a little more than the price of one!!

You may think you don’t want the homeschool version… well it’s the same as the other versions, plus allows up to 5 different users on 2 different computers.  For parents there is also an admin panel so you can see how each child is doing.  You don’t have to ever use the parent admin tools, and can just use it personally.  It’s $20 cheaper than the non-homeschool version.

To get the deal:

  1. Go through this link. (it triggers the special discount)
  2. At the top left corner click on the Rosetta Stone logo.
  3. Then click to view the homeschool products.
  4. Add the language you want to your cart and you should see the $300 discount automatically applied.

My 8 year old twins are going through the Spanish program right now and are not only learning, but are having fun while doing it. They have fun making up songs and showing all that they have learned already. This program provides full immersion which is a great way to learn the language.

You can choose from (9) different languages to study from French, Spanish, German and more!

      when i click the level 1 – 5, it came out 199?

      • were you on the homeschool version or the one that comes up on the first screen?

    • Sharon

Jenny, do you know how long the promo code will be valid?

      • I saw one mention of running through 9/1. Don’t know with sales like this though, many companies really end up closing the sales randomly.

    • Jen O

      Thank you so much!!

    • Jessica

When I follow your directions for the homeschool link, it only gives a $150 discount. The only close option is the one for LiveMocha members.

      • Did you put the item in your cart? I just tested again and while it shows a discount of up to $150, when you place a full course in your cart the full discount shows up.

      • Julie

You need to apply promo rslms5199

    • cher

i just bought the chinese level 1-5 (personal version) for $199 ($300 saving). Never figure out the homeschool version, because it only shows level 1-3.

    • cher

just bought a level 1-5 chinese personal vision for 199, cannot figure out the homeschool one since they only have level 1-3 for chinese. But still a huge saving for my family, thanks

    • Tiff

Do not quite know what I am doing wrong…..I am trying to follow your link – but it does only come up with the regular 1-5 version – it is not specifically the homeschool version. And I also am getting the $199 price….in my shopping cart. (?) And when I am ON the first one that shows up on the screen, how on earth do I get the homeschool one to show the same discount? Thx!!!! :)

      • Tiff

Oh jeez. Nevermind. I swear it was not being cooperative before. :)

      • Glad you got it to work! If you still need help though I can try to walk you through it.

        • Tiff

Do you have an opinion on which you prefer – the digital download or cd-rom? And why….?

          • I did the cd rom only because when we bought it was the only option. I would say the digital though for me if it had bee na choice. Less to keep up with. The CD Rom version will come with a headset though if you need that.

    • Alexis

This doesn’t work for every language

    • Colleen

Jenny, I am so excited! We homeschool but have never been able to afford Rosetta Stone. They even allow payments with no finance charge, so it worked out to $46 on the first payment to cover tax and then four more payments of $35.80! Who could pass that up? Thank you so much for passing this on!

    • Mandy

I also clicked the link and added it to my cart (I selected Italian), and it’s showing the price as $199 instead of $179. Any ideas? I don’t see a place to choose the homeschool version vs. the regular version.

      • Mandy

Sheesh, never mind! I figured it out – sorry!

      • Jennifer Johnson Hopkins

Click Rosetta Stone logo top left corner. Homeschool tab is at top of page. Click it, pick a language, put it in you cart.

    • Jennifer Johnson Hopkins

Jenny, I followed your directions, and it worked perfectly. I got the homeschool Latin American Spanish version for 179.00. All 5 levels. I have been wanting this for several years and just couldn’t spend 500.00 for it. This will be great for me since I am a nurse, and we have a large percentage of Latin American immigrants. My daughter is 5 and I would like for her to start learning Spanish. Thanks again.

    • Terri Weaver Zimmer

Thanks Jenny I’ve wanted this for years but couldn’t afford it.

    • M Jackson

Thanks SO much! It worked perfectly- I am a teacher and have wanted this for years, but, as others mentioned, couldn’t afford it. Thanks for sharing this great deal!!

    • Alexandra

Thank you so much for this!!! I have always wanted this but could never buy it!! Thank you, thank you!!

    • Christina Kilmon Orr

It worked for me. Thanks Jenny!

    • Jesssica

The homeschool version of Irish only offers levels 1-3 and even after adding to cart it’s price is $299 and says I have a discount of $80?

    • Jesssica

Homeschool version of Italian does come out to $179 after you add to cart so I guess it has to be something that has 5 levels?

    • Renee

I tried your link and the price came up $179 when I added it to my cart but when I put in my shipping address is added 9.95 shipping even through the “review order” page. I even called Rosetta stone and they said they would not honor this price since Southern Savers is not an authorized website. They also said the deal was designed for repeat users that’s why you had to use the link to get it. Just thought you’d want to know.

      • Meody

If you have to click the link to get it, because it’s designed for repeat customers, isn’t it cheating for us to have this link to click and get the deal? It seems like a great deal, and I would love to buy it, but I don’t want to do it if it is under the radar or anything like that.

        • Meody

I just clicked the link and read that it is exclusively for livemocha members, which is a subscription/paid website. If I called and talked to a Rosetta Stone representative, would I still get the same deal?

          • Meody

My husband just called a Rosetta Stone representative, and they said in the future they are going to make it password protected, but since people are already using this, they decided to allow it for another week or so for anybody who finds it through the link, so it is allowed!

    • Quia

Jenny I tried it for the Chinese and it shows only 1-3 levels for homeschooling n $299, I followed it step by step and went to check out, n didn’t see the discount. I didn’t go as far as putting my info b/c if the 5 levels will b $199 instead of $179 like Cher said she got, would b worth it. I would like the homeschooling to check on my daughter progress, if possible, any ideas or suggestions in what to do?

      • Quia

Well I figure it out myself and went with the personal version $199, different options depending on the language (some $179 others $199)
I called them this morning after purchase last night and they ONLY offer levels1,2 n 3 for homeschooling in Chinese, so got a great deal for my 1-5 levels for $199
        thx for sharing :)

    • Sheri

Is there a promo code to enter. It’s only showing a $150 discount.

    • Sheri

Got the $179 price, but have to pay almost $20 in tax.

    • Megan Tackett

You get the extra $20 off if you go to the regular pages to place the order. If you use the page the link lands on, it’s $199. Click on the logo in the top left corner of the landing page and choose the Homeschool tab at the top. It only works for the 9 languages they chose to discount. Unfortunately, I didn’t figure this out until after I ordered. Oh well, we’re still learning German. If we do well, I’m going back for Irish.

    • Amy

It worked for me. The total came to $191 because of tax but this is such an awesome deal! Every year I want to purchase this program for homeschooling but it’s just so expensive I haven’t been able to swing it. We couldn’t afford to let this deal pass without purchasing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

    • Barbara

Sweet! Just ordered mine…no problems! Also used the payment plan which helps me so much! Thanks Jenny!

    • KJane

So glad i saw this. Have been wanting it for years, but couldn’t afford it. Finally I know my senior in high school will have a solid year of Spanish instruction.

    • MikBar

I clicked on the link and only received an offer for $150 off. I tried putting in the promo code “rslms5199” from the image above and then it gave the $300 off.

      • Amanda

click the blue section that says “9 different languages” choose your language and it adds it to your cart :)

    • Nikki

Thanks so much for posting this! Got the $179 price and paid $12 tax with free shipping!

    • rhettsmommy

I’d love to able to use this in our homeschool but Rosetta Stone doesn’t count for Foreign Language credit as it doesn’t include grammar :(

      • Amy Coleman

        Doesn’t count with who? Colleges?

        • rhettsmommy

Certain colleges & umbrella schools…if you were to supplement with a grammar program, then yes. As a stand-alone…it’s generally not considered a full foreign language course.

    • Amy Coleman

Will this count toward college foreign language requirements if we supplement Grammar, if so, any recommended programs for that?

    • M

Question, if the promotion runs out today will it honor the discount with the 5 payment option?

    • Amy

I just got the deal today..it still works.

    • Amy

I just got the deal today..it still works.
