If Staples just had their copy paper (a few weeks ago) can you still do this rebate?  Thanks in advance.

      • Jtdjagos

yes it is a new rebate, with a new rebate number. Stock up

        • Sararodgers1

          Thanks, I will.

    • Shannon0503

So if we buy to of the copy papers, we just send in the stuff and get a giftcard for the amount we spent?

    • Jessica

How does the Easy rebate work?? I need copy paper but usually don’t shop at Staples. Can someone explain?

      • cvslady

Usually the rebate info prints on your receipt and you submit your receipt through the mail or online for your rebate.  I’ve always received a check in the mail 4-6 weeks later, but sometimes they issue a gift card.  If that matters to you, I’d ask before I bought anything.

        • Ashton

When I go to submit the rebate online it gives me an option to choose a different rebate option than the one advertised and I’m pretty sure that a check is always one of them

      • Tiffanyandnick

I always do the Easy rebate online and it credits it to my paypal account.  Super easy, quick and never any problems.

    • E_candler

If I use Staples reward money that I have earned on easy rebate items this week, will I still qualify for the easy rebate?

      • Ashton

        yes :)

      • Ashton

        yes :)

    • Raynesmw

This might be a really stupid question, but just wondering…when you get your Staples check back from easy rebate, can you just sign it over in the store and use it toward purchases?

      • freebie_addict

Staples Rewards can only be used at Staples.. It’s not really a check, but the Easy Rebates are normally Visa cards that can be used on whatever you want at any store…

      • Momof2

from easy rebate is a check you can use at staples or you can cash it in your bank but staples rewards can only use it at store

        • Sandy

You can use Staples Rewards on line as well, even works when ordering gift cards.  I’ve ordered I-Tunes & Marshallls
          and ships to home free.

        • kate

If you request the easy rebate check, then it’s just a check that you can cash at your bank – it cannot be used at Staples.  The Visa card can be used there though.

          • Momof2

yes you can use the check at staples too  i was told

      •  Hey there,
It can vary from store to store, depending on the cashier and manager on duty you will be allowed to do things differently at each location. Best to check with the manager at your location if you want to know for sure!

    • Linzep

if it says limit 2, does that mean 2 rebates?

      • Stac

      • Sharonkilcrease

I just purchased two of each of the free items and went on line for the rebates and it only let me have one of each. I’m going the take the other one back tomorrow.

        • cassia2

Heads up – it may have processed it as two but just shown you one.  I had this happen to me on a rebate I input two weeks ago and just double checked now and it is listing both when I click on it to see the status (it’s still in the validation period since it was so recent).

    • Stacy

I saw in the Staples weekly ad that Charmin Basic bath tissue (16 big rolls) is $6.  Is that a good deal?

      • Carrie_C

Yes, I think so.  There is a $1/2 Charmin in today’s paper and if you pair that up with a $5/$25 from Office Depot or have one for Staples, it could be nice.  Here’s what I’m planning:

        4 x $6 Charmin Basic
        1 x $1 random item
less 2 x $1/2 charmin coupons (there are also $1/1 out there)
less $10/$25 Staples (just got in the mail)
less $4 remaining Staples rewards from recycling ink cartridges
$9 plus tax for 4 packages Charmin = NICE!

Even the $5/$25 and no $4 reward is good since $17 for 4 is still a great deal IMO.

        • Jdcadall

Some of the Staples stores no longer accept competitor $ off $$. Also, staples sends out $/$$ coupons that were for telephone/online order and could be used in store. All the ones here in Pinellas FL won’t accept them anymore either. Just my $.02.

      • Mamaberry

The only problem is that Charmin basic is like using tissue paper. (and I don’t mean tissues to wipe your nose). I think you will use more and thus spend more buying the cheaper quality.  Stick with the Sensitive or the Ultra. Just my opinion! hth

    • Wilto

Good deal on the Staples copy paper (great for normal printing needs) and  the glossy photo paper.

    • Sara

Be careful when using the Staples Rewards dollars on items that give you 100% back with instant Staples Rewards.  I recently purchased batteries and a jump drive that offered 100% back in Staples Rewards and used a Staples Rewards check, but the purchase amount of each item was reduced by a percentage of my Staples Reward dollars.  The next Staples Rewards dollars I received was not for 100% of the items I had purchased.  If I had know this in advance, I would have purchased these items separately.

      • Lisa J

I am sorry you had a bad experience. Jenny did a post a few weeks ago about shopping at Staples, and explain how to use their rewards and rebates.  She explained that if you use rewards to purchase other reward items, your next reward would be reduced. However, you can use your rewards to purchase rebate items and get your full rebate. I do this all the time. Jenny’s post might be somewhere on here if you use the search function to pull it up. Might save some confusion on your next trip. She also did a post on office max if you are interested. I enjoy shopping my staples, getting my rewards and using the rewards to get the rebates. Hope you have better luck next time :)

    • Stephbranch

I can only find the photo paper online for free after easy rebate but not the colored paper or copy paper?

    • frances

I just left Staples and apparently you need a coupon or code for this deal. They did not have a flyer this week. I also checked the website and could not find the deal nor could the print area lady. Any other ideas? I was really looking forward to this for a school project.
