    • Hey Just wanted to say on the hammermill paper, there is a coupons.com coupon for $1 off that paper. So after you do the $4.99 rebate, it’s totally FREE! :)

      • guest

What zip are you using? Under my zip it's for HP paper which was on sale this past week.

    • Ugh. I just paid for batteries at CVS for my new Swiffer WetJet I got last week. Granted I got 8 AA for $4.00. Oh well. I can get some in prep for hurricane season.

    • Hlbball34

can you and ur spouse that live in the same house both get a card and get the rewards and rebates?

    • Iam2busy

Is there a limit to how many batteries you can buy and still get the reward?

      • carrie

The limit should be listed in the ad itself, on the shelf price tags in front of the batteries and then on your receipt.

      • tori729

        My ad says limit 2.

    • malou

Is there a fee to sign up for their rewards program and how does it work? Im a new mom and Im finding out that there is a major need for batteries for all these toys in our house.

      • There is no fee. It is a free program.

        • malou

Thank you! I believe I'll be signing up and buying batteries this week.

    • Elyn

Recyclebank has a Staples 10 off 50 coupon for 75 points.

      • carrie

My Staples takes Office Depot coupons (even though we don't even have one in town) and Jenny has listed a current $10 off of $50 Office Depot coupon. Go to the top of the page and “search” Office Depot and the post with the most current coupon should come up. That way, if your Staples takes the Office Depot coupon as well, then you can save your Recyclebank points for something else.

        • Elyn

          Thanks for the tip!

    • carrie

Just a heads up, it seems to me that Staples deducts any coupons you used from your rebate. So if you use the coupons listed for the batteries, be prepared to not get the entire 100% back. I still haven't figured out if the same is true for when you use rewards to pay for deals that should then in turn get you more rewards.

      • Mlm82lmm04

How did you find this out? I purchased that paper last week using 2/$1 coupons and my rebate online still said 9.98 rebate total.

        • MMoris

Same thing for me. I used 2 $1 off coupons and my rebate total online was $9.98.

          • Cf Miles

Wasn't that rebate for $1 less than the cost of the paper? I think it only reduces your rebate amount in order to eliminate a money maker. If the paper was $6 and you used a $1 coupon and the rebate was for $5 you are good. However, if the rebate was for $6 and you used the coupon, the rebate would be reduced to $5

    • Mlm82lmm04

How does the recycle bank work?

      • Mlm82lmm04

also how does staples rewards work?

    • Jenn

Is the rewards program work like a mail in rebate or is it money you get to spend back in the store? thanks never shop at staples but may for FREE batteries. :))

      • tori729

It's store credit. The rebates come as either a check or a store gift card but the rewards come back as a sheet of paper that you can redeem. I think they are starting to only have them online though so you have to print them out through the website.

    • Shannon

When you use rewards to pay it does lower the rewards you get back. So in that way it's not as good as Office Max which does not lower the rewards.

    • A4music1

I don't usually shop Staples. Is the rewards like a Kroger card? I looked at the upcoming flyer and it is not advertised. I love your websidte btw. I do need those batteries

    • couponsrfun

Does anyone know if I can use my Staples rewards to buy the batteries and still receive the rewards for buying batteries like you can @ CVS?
Or, can I use my rewards to buy the paper and still get the rebate?

    • angie

you get full amount back if you use coupons for rebates but not full amount back if you use coupons with rewards. also you cant use rewards to get stuff that is rewards items but you can use rewards for rebate items…hope this makes since i had to call staples customer service once to figure this out so what i do so i dont get confused i use my rewards to just buy ink….lol.

      • couponsrfun

Thanks, so I will use my rewards to get the paper and the rebate and pay cash to get the batteries and the rewards. that is confusing. lol :)

    • Terrivw

Had no idea about Staples reward program till now thanks to S.S. wasted all that money at Office Depot.

      • Thanks to SS, now you know about the Staples reward program! :)
