theraflu $5 rebate

There’s a new rebate for Theraflu on Coupons.com for $5 back on one item! This rebate pays out in the form of a $5 gift card to your choice of CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, or Walmart.

  • Look under zip code 62946 and find the $5 Retailer Gift Card.
  • Purchase Theraflu Warming Relief Syrup or Caplets between Dec. 19th and March 31st.
  • Send in the Rebate Form, dated receipt, and UPC code from the Theraflu product.
  • Get your rebate!

This will most definitely make for an awesome moneymaker when paired with a coupon and reward deal at the drugstores.

Use it at CVS with the following deal next week:
Buy: (2) Theraflu Warming Relief at $4.77
Use: (2) -$3 off Theraflu Warming Relief syrup or caplets, SS 12/04
Get Back: $3 ECB and the $5 Gift Card
(you make $4.46 after Rebate!)

there is a coupon in the cold and flu pamphlet at publix that is a publix store coupon for $2/1 theraflu product. combine that with the manufactuerers $3/1 from 12/4 and you get the theraflu for $.39 so 4.61 profit

FYI – the writing at the bottom of the rebate form says it’s not valid with the use of other coupons, etc.

      • Amanda Carlton

Since CVS tracks your purchases on your card. You could buy 1 at $4.77 without a coupon. You could then send this receipt in for the rebate. Then in a second transaction purchase another Theraflu for 4.77 and then use the $3 off coupon.

You would pay $6.54 get back $3 ECB and $5 Gift Card. You would still make $1.46 and wouldn’t have to worry about the writing at the end of the rebate.

Is there really a $3/1 coupon out there?  All I can find is a $3/2 coupon.

          • SarahR

I had a $3/1.  I used it the week it came out at CVS because it was part of the gift card deal.  I did see some on ebay too but it is probably not worth buying them for this rebate.

its in my smart source for 12/4/11

          • Vab0914

I had bought 6 papers at 2 different stores, the $3 coupon was in 3, but no Theraflu coupons in the other 3. There is a $2 online coupon printable.

          great idea thanks for sharing!

    • Busachk1300

well doesnt that suck… we bought this stuff december 18th lol

    • Amy Passarella

So this is for CVS sales flyer – NEXT week? Not this week?

    • Lizard

This deal is not valid with coupons or saving cards (e.g.: CVS card, Rite Aid card); so, it is not a profit maker unless the item is non-taxed and/or the cost is under the cost of postage.

      • charlsie

ok, so i read the fine print and don’t see anything about not being able to use coupons….????

    • Coupons4kristie

Don’t know if this has been said already but CVS has marked down some of their cosmetics 50% and 75% off…There were still tons of items left so it must have happened today. I bought 4 Revlon Colorburst lipsticks for about 1.50 each and got back $16 in ECBs.

      • Kakis02

My CVS had their make up marked down since Dec 11th, but they weren’t marked on the actual product..good thing the cashier likes me and actually went through all the make up that was marked down..I got some nail polish and mascara!

      • Sarah

do you get ECB on the clearanced items? the deal said spent 6.99, get 4 ECB, but with the clearance it brought the lipsticks down to 1.50 so I didnt think it would count. It usually prints with coupons because the store’s price was that amount to start with, but since it’s in the system as being 1.50 Id dint think it would and the cashier said the same thing

      CVS $5.00 off $30 Just For You…
Did everyone get their email for $5.00 off of a $30 purchase.  Was emailed to me last night.  You get the email and either print out the coupon or have sent to your card.  The best part—- the coupon doesn’t have the restriction that it cannot be used on sales items.  It expires 12/25…whoa whoa!

Can someone tell me what this (
Look under zip code 62946 and find the $5 Retailer Gift Card) means under the Theraflu offer. I am new at this. Thanks
