    • Paula

hi – on the head and shoulders you stated that it is better not to use the coupon. Why is that?? It seems to me that using the coupon and getting the RR I would pay $2.00 for 2 bottles. That would be a great price compared to $8.00 regular price for 2 bottles.

      • Jenny

I guess it is about the same. I think I read it as $1/2 when I went back to add in all the math.

      • If you use the coupon: $3.99 x 2 = $7.98 total. Subtract $2/2 MFC and one $2 RR = $3.98. $3.98/2 = $1.99 per bottle, plus one coupon that can’t be used for another deal.

If you DON’T use the coupon, you can split it into two transactions. $3.99 – $2 RR = $1.99, plus you still have your coupon to use later.

I don’t really understand why you’d want to use it. :)

        • Denise

You don’t get the $2 RR for EACH bottle?? If not then it would make sense not to use the coupon…if you do, then it’s only $1 each.

          • Yeah, you only get one RR per deal per transaction. So.. you’ll only get one RR if you buy two bottles of shampoo at once. :)

    • Karsten

Need some help coming up with a plan for this week. My Wags will not give me back any RR if I roll RR and use coupons. It’s easy to come up with a plan when there’s freebies with coupons, but this week there’s only freebies with coupons and RR. Thanks!!

      • Christina

I would try shopping at another Wags. I used RR that I got at the pharmacy for the meters and when used those at the front register. No one said a thing.

      • lynn

do you mean roll like if you buy a meter, using the rr u receive on another meter? bec then no, you wouldn’t get another one. if you are using them on different products they should print out. wags are corporately regulated and don’t have the option to not print out rr’s.

        • Libby

I think they do have some way to suppress the rrs. My wag will not print out any rr if you use an rr to pay, regardless of what the rr was for. So if you were to get a rr for buying a 12 pack of cokes and you already had a rr from buying a nivea lotion, it would not print out the rr for the cokes. This happened to me and it was one of the managers ringing me up. It was really upsetting.

          • LIN

Your local WG has no way of NOT allowing RR from printing. I only know this because I’ve worked for WG. For the most part, using a RR in a transaction that is suppose to have a RR print out may cause it to “cancel” out and not print. Like you are forfeiting your RR by using a RR in that transaction. It may say something like that in small print on the back of the RR. Although, I may be wrong.

      • Millie

Karsten, my local Wags will not let me roll RRs no matter what manufacturer issued them. I have resigned myself to using coupons to earn the RRs (when they let me do that!), then going on a shopping spree with them for things that rarely go on sale, like printer paper and pens, or one-time buys like newspapers or birthday cards. Resetting my expectations (lower) has helped me make peace with Wags and not give up on shopping there.

      • Fortnuately, my Wags will print out RR’s when I use them. I used a $3 RR from Pepsi yesterday and I still got back $15 RR after my purchase but I did not have Pepsi products in my purchase.

      • ashley

I work for Walgreens and as long as you do not use a RR that came from the same product that you intend on recieving one from it will print. There is no way for us to override the printer. If your register reward does not print and the manager does not refund you the money or re-do the transaction I would call corporate. You just need to make sure that you have equal number of products to MFC and RR are manufacture coupons. Also, to use as many coupons as possible make sure you use your RR’s then other MFC’s then the store coupons. If you use your RR last the computer may not accept it. Hope that helps!

    • Wouldn’t the Reach deal be a moneymaker since the in-ad coupon will take off for both items?

      • Becky

That could work: use the b1g1 coupon first (takes off $3.99), plus the $1 coupon (now at $2.99 for both), THEN the WAG coupon (should take off $2 for both) which gives you a “free” dollar. BUT you have to have something else that is at least a dollar’s worth or it probably won’t work. Good eye Mitchell!

        • Dana

Double check your ads. My RP is for $1 off on floss or dental floss or flosser. It does not include the toothbrush. Perhaps our region is just different. I am in Texas.

          • Joanne Horan

It was in mine. I subscribe to the houston chronicle. Did you know that the dollar tree sells sunday papers for only 1 dollar – but you should probably check to make sure the coupons are in there. Last sunday paper only had 3 stacks – that was the galveston paper

        • Joanne Horan

You are so right. Whenever there is an overage, you need to buy something else or it will not work. In the case of stacking the 1.00 off the toothbrush and the bogo, you would actually have 1.00 over, so you have to think of it this way – buy something on sale that will take care of that extra dollar, that way its a win win situation.

      • Kim

My store wouldn’t let me use the B1G1 and the store q to get them free – a few pennies difference and they wouldn’t adjust. I’m in Ohio though.

        • TinaM

Yesterday, I went to Wags cashier would not give me the item free on the Reach Toothbrush when I presented the B1G1. She said since it had already taken off the $2, so, she could only take off the difference. It would be coupon fraud to give me the full amount for my coupon. I argued very politely that it is not coupon fraud because the coupon was from the manufacturer and the other was their store coupon. Their store coupon does not stipulate any rules. She said not really they are all manufacturer coupons. I do not want to get anyone in trouble nor doing anything wrong. I say they should not have store coupons if they do not want us to use manufacturer coupons. Am I wrong?? This has never happened to me before and it was an older cashier who always gives me problems with coupons. I know I should have checked out elsewhere but the store was deserted so I felt obligated to use the front cashier. Have any of you ever experienced this? Is this the new store policy?

          • Courtney

i don’t believe that can be true. from my experience, the store coupon is really more just a store sale. the manufacturer is not providing those savings, the store is. i went to wags on tuesday and they let me get 8 toothbrushes and 8 floss for free with no questions or funny looks. actually, the floss made me quite a bit of overage that i used toward purchasing the head and shoulders and the lunch meat deal. the cashier didn’t ask me a thing or seem to care. it bugs me when the cashiers act like we are robbing the store or taking their paychecks. the store is reimbursed for all those mfc. q’s plus a little handling expense.

          • Joanne Horan

Sounds like she gave you the run around. That is totally not true. Walgreen, target allows you to use the mc and store coupon together. I go stores where they all know me, so I don’t get any hassles. I find that its usually the older clerks are the ones that give you a hard time.

    • aj

Are all John Freida products included in this weeks RR deal? Im just seeing the Frizz-Ease in the ad listed and my coupons are for the Root Awakening products? Im hoping that I am missing something?

      • Sabrina

Tha’s what I see too…hope it is for the ones we have coupons for. Does anyone know for sure?

        • d

I bought 2 Root Awakening w/ the $5/2 cpn today… no RR printed out :(

          • Margy

Great excersize today in adjusting on the fly!….I had a great scenario planned to get the two neosporin deal, and then follow it with the Root Awakening. First, there was only one neosporin lip product left on the shelf, so I had to scrap that idea. Then as many have discovered, the Root Awakening is not included in the John Frieda deal, nuts!
HOWEVER..Both the John Frieda Frizz Ease Weather Shield shampoos and conditioners were on clearance for a whopping $1.79 each! So I grabbed two, grabbed a Sunday paper, and checked out, no coupons at all. Payed $4.33 plus tax, and the $5 John Frieda RR printed out, whoo hoo! Keep an eye out at your Walgreens and see if this shampoo is discounted at your store also!

    • mitch k

is there a limit on the bayer meters? thatd be amazing if there wasnt because i have like 8 coupons…

      • There is never an official limit- not like at CVS, where there’s limits per card. That’s why I prefer Walgreens to CVS! :) Your store can impose a limit, they have that right, and of course, you can only do one deal per transaction, but other than that, you can get as many as you want. I asked my store to special order 20 for me. :)

      • lynn

yes! definitely ask your store to order you what you need. i do it all the time! :)

      • Emily

I used the coupon on the Bayer meter and it did not print the register rewards. The cashier and manager said it was because I used a manufacturer’s coupon and the RR is also a manufacturer coupon.
Anyone else had this happen? Not a big deal since I got it free anyway, but I was just wondering.

        • Shon

That is not correct. I just left Wags here in FL and got 1 Breeze 2 meter, 1 Contour meter & Bayer Rapid Release ALL in one transaction and it printed the following: $5 RR (for Breeze), $5 RR (for Contour), $5 off testing strip refills Q & $6 RR (bayer deal- buy 3 get $6). I did this transaction twice and got those RR each time. Hope this helps. Also, the Rapid release at my store here in Tallahassee are on clearance for $2.19; so used a $1 off Man Q & got it all for $1.19 each transaction with $32 RR total to use next time.

          • Dianne

Where did you get a coupon for the testing strips? Thanks!

        • Brenda

I just had the same problem here in a S. FL Walgreens. I did the transaction with the RR on the meters last time and everything went fine. I used the coupon and got the RR back. This time it didn’t generate. They called the manager he looked at it and thought the coupon used was a RR and that I couldn’t do that. When I told him it was not a RR coupon he went back to the cashier and got the coupon I used from the paper. Then they involved a second manager who said that if I used a manufacturers coupon of any type it would not generate the RR. Like you said, not too big of a deal because it didn’t cost me anything, but I use the RR I get to keep us in printer ink!! :-) I will try a different store with my other coupon and see if it works. :-(

    • marci

Dollar General sells electrasol everyday for $2.50 and they do take qs.

      • Honey

Wonder if it’s the same size?

      • Rachel

bought 2 papers and I did not have the coupons that you listed as having for this Sunday’s paper

        • Jamie

I bought one Large city publication and one local paper. Only the large city had those high value coupons in the smart source section.

      • Judy Lynn

Are you talking about the Electrasol Finish Powerball? Are they $2.50?? And is there a limit on those at walgreens cause they wont let me get no more than 1 at one store and 1 per day at another? i Dont understand?

        • Joanne Horan

If you get more than 1, you will not get it for free, because rr only prints one time, However, I have never heard of the one per day!!
If that’s the case, I would just go to another walgreens. There about 5 in my area. It also helps to know the people who work there.

    • Dianna

I’ve never been to Walgreens, although it is 5 mins from my house and CVS is 20 mins! Can you stack coupons at Walgreens? That has been my only hesitation is they won’t allow you to stack (heard it somewhere). Also do the RR work just like the EB at CVS?

      • Honey

No the rr and ecb’s do NOT work the same way. I would look at a Wags tutorial if I were just getting started there. The main difference is that at cvs you can roll your ecbs and at wags if you want to use the rr on another deal that gives rr it has to be a different company or it will not usually print out. For instance at cvs if there is a limit of 2 deals for say visine, you can buy one visine and then turn around and use the ecbs to buy the other one. Not so at wags. If you buy say lotion that is free after rr. And you want to go buy another, you will have to use a different rr (from say Kellogg’s) in order to get it to print. Once in a blue moon, wags makes a mistake or something and they will actually roll, but not often…hope that helps some although I’m sure Jenny does a better job explaining it.

      • Libby

My walgreens is even worse. If you pay with any type of rr, no other rr will print out. At least that’s what happened about 6 months ago and they told me that’s how they would be doing from now on so I only buy things there that will be free and take my rrs to publix.

        • lynn

libby, i’m sorry! that’s a mess. if the first five numbers on the upc of the coupon don’t match the product(which they won’t if you bought something else to get the rr), then they should definitely print you out a new one! you should’ve pushed that issue. someone doesn’t know what they are doing there :)

          • Libby

You’re right Lynn I should have pushed it. But it was a manager that rang me up! I ended up returning some of the things right then, but I should have returned it all and gotten all of my qs back. I haven’t really even shopped at that wags since then, I’m about to try sometime this week though. Hopefully I’ll have more luck! :)

        • carol

i wrote before, but i don’t see an answer… could you please explain…does publix take the RR coupons from walgreens? for example, if i purchase an item from walgreens and i get a RR for
$3 to spend on any item for another purchase, can i take that RR to
          publix and use it?

      • Sarah C

I was at walgreens earlier and they won’t allow you to use more coupons than number of items purchased. I was buying a toothbrush and a Sunday paper. I had a coupon for the toothbrush and was going to use two RR to pay for (most of) the rest. The register would only take one RR because I was only buying two products and had already used one coupon.

        • jennifer

That is true. You can’t use more coupons or rewards than items you are buying. That is were the fillers come in. You buy one of then so you can use the additional rr you have.

    • Marc

I don’t see the John Frieda deal in the ad or in the monthly deal list. Where did you see this one? (Wanted to verify root awakenings are part of the deal.)

      • Becky

If all John Frieda items are $5 ea, than the $2.50 Volume Q will also make the Volume product free (if you want to get the volume one instead and can’t find the Root Awakening one). Just use (2) $2.50 Q’s.

    • With the Dayquil/Nightquil deal, you can get two free boxes of puffs. There is a coupon that came out last week in the P&G that was something like buy two Vicks products get puffs free. HTH!

    • Lynn

Can you check on the Walgreens posting to see if it has the Create Shopping List button, it is not showing up on mine but it is showing up on earlier postings.

    • Melissa

Hi–I ran into a snag last week with the Vicks deal and I think I might have figured it out but wanted to get input from more experienced Wags-ers! I bought 5 products to get above the $20 threshold for the $10 RR–2 plug-ins, 1 vapo-pads refill, 2 dayquils. Each was advertised (in the ad and on the shelf-tags) as 4.99 and listed as “participating products.” When I checked out, only a $5 RR printed. While I was waiting for the manager I noticed that the vapo-pads refill rang up at 5.99–regular price.

Sadly, this was not my “regular” Walgreens where they are always wonderful and helpful. This manager gave me every tired excuse in the book as to why the RR didn’t print right but after wasting a lot of time looking at all the shelf tags and the ad and my receipt, he did finally give me a $10 gift card (score!! much better than an RR since I live an hour from any Wags.)

Here’s my question: do y’all think that since the vapo-pads rang up at regular price, perhaps they weren’t programmed in as a “participating” product, and thus my “participating” total was less than $20? I seem to have been lucky so far with most of my Wags shopping (I highly recommend the Merrimon Ave store to Asheville area shoppers!) but since we seem to know more than the employees most of the time about the inner workings of the RR program, it’s helpful to troubleshoot the bad transactions to save everyone’s time down the line when someting similar happens again. Can anyone verify or shoot down my theory about the Vicks problem? Thanks! And here’s hoping the darn things actually work–my daughter started preschool in September and has been sick nonstop it seems–which means *I’ve* been sick too! :(

      • Michelle

That could have very well been the reason…I ran into a similar problem last week with the zooth tooth brushes. They did not ring up the advertised price and therefore the RR did not print…and they COULD NOT get the RR to print…..very frustrating.

    • Melinda

Does anyone know what zip to use for the
      -$2.50 Citrucel with smartfiber? I’v tried 95595, 31721, 90210 and 90008

    • Aimee

Just wanted to say the Finish/Electrasol coupon is for the Quantum, which is usually around $6, it’s not the same as the regular Finish/Electrasol tabs, so YMMV.

      • Jennifer

What is the difference between the quantum and the regular? Is one the gel pacs and one the hard tabs? I use this brand anytime I have a coupon and have never paid attention.

        • Aimee

I’m not really sure if they work any better than regular Finish, but the tabs look different than the regular. On the Finish website, they have Gelpacs, All-in-One, and Quantum. The Quantum is similar to the reg. tabs, but costs more. I believe the All-in-One is what’s on sale at Wags, and I think the coupon is only good for Quantum. My Wags is coupon-friendly, but they check to make sure each one is valid and matches the product purchased EXACTLY. I understand some are more forgiving, if it scans, they’ll take it. It may be worth a try for some people. Good luck!

          • Kalyn

Aimee, I think it should work, it’s not just for Quantam-http://www.mashupmom.com/?p=16391.

            • Aimee

I just got my coupons, in my area, the $2.50 q is only for 20 pack Quantum or 32 pack tabs or gelpacs. The cashiers at my Wags ALWAYS read the fine print on all q’s, so I’ll just use mine at walmart or the commissary. Only the 20 packs of tabs are on sale this week for $3.49. That’s okay, I’ll just have to live w/ my free Reach toothbrushes! :^)

            • Christina

No mine are not just for Quantum but must be regional differences w/ coupon, mine says $2.50 off ANY (1) Finish Quantum, Powerball Tabs or Gelpacs. No sie restrictions whatsoever. And will work for this sale.

            • Sarah

The wording on my coupon also was for any (1) any size, Finish gelpacs or tabs, so it worked and was a legit deal at Wags.

      • Li

i went out early this morning to get the paper (7am sunday)
and my 2 papers DO NOT have any Electrasol coupons or soy joy coupons ?
how can i get these so i can follow the deal suggestions ?
please help. i am a new couponer of 2 weeks.
        Very much appreciate any help

        • jennifer

Some coupons are regional and will NOT be in your paper. I often miss out on good high value ones. You’ll have to check Jenny’s insert listings to see what’s up.

        • Also, make sure you buy the bigger name paper, hope that makes sense. For example in my area the Press Enterprise has the same inserts, but some coupons are different and the high value ones are different. Because of this I buy the LA times. If you have more than one paper available buy both one week and compare.

          • …sorry, meant to say high value ones are not in the Press. So the $2.50 one is not usually in there, but it is in the Times.

        • Dee R.

Last night I purchased 10 of the Electrasol coupons on eBay for $5. I’m sure you could find the SoyJoys the same way.

      • Joy

I can see why is looks like the coupon is only for the Quantum, but it’s not. You see, it says “$2.50 off any one Finish Quantum, Powerball Tabs or Gelpacs. The last two, powerball tabs or gelpacs are not a type of Quantum, they are it’s own type. Does that make sense? I also did a double take when I saw your post and looked at the coupon. Hope that Helps.

      • Carmen

I am in Jacksonville, FL and my Finish coupon was for ANY. I didn’t use it at walgreens because they were out, but I did take it to Dollar General and got them for 50cents.

    • Tammy

Anyone have a zip that will work to get a Special K shake coupon?

      • paul

the special K shake coupon are not there on the coupon.com
how do i print them ?
is there a special zip that works

    • Amy

Do Walgreen’s RR start Saturday night like CVS deals start at 6pm?

      • lynn

register rewards won’t print on saturdays unfortunately. :( i’ve seen like one print, but 99% don’t so it’s a safe bet to just go on sunday

      • susan

    • Jenn

Is there any new/ transfer presciption coupons out there for Walgreens? I have 3 to get filled. Thank you.

      • Becky

Target has a new “Get a $10 GC when you transfer or get a new prescription”, but have not seen any Walgreen ones. Sorry. The target one is at the Target website under “grocery coupons” and than “pharmacy”.

    • Jennifer

I’m confused…For the Johnson’s $2.99 baby products, are they included in the rr deal? I’m looking at the ad scan on iheartcvs.com and is everything in the blue section included or is it just the children’s medicine in the small white section? Thanks!

      • katie

it doesn’t look like it is included to me but i sure hope i’m wrong

      • wendi

I don’t think they are included. I just looked at the ad too as well as at the couponguy website and I do not believe they are included. Bummer!

      • Josie

They are definitely not included! :(

      • ChrissyP

I went to Walgreens this morning to get a couple of deals and the RR did not print for the Johnsons sale. The cashier said it is only the products in the blue box in the ad. I was disapointed but I had printed 2.00 q’s off coupons.com so they were still .99 a bottle which is great!

        • ChrissyP

Sorry I mean the white box not the blue one! ;)

      • Jennifer

I went today and they are not included. :(

    • becky

I know I’ve seen the discussion somewhere on the website, but I am having problems printing Brick coupons. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to print? Thanks

      • you’re probably using a different browser- they’re coded for IE and FF. Look at the address. Somewhere in teh string of characters there is a “wg&o” “wi&o” “vg&o” or “vi&o” If there is a w, change it to a v, or if it’s a v, change it to a w. That should make it work for you.

    • Kristen

There is a $2 off any Johnson’s baby product redeemable only at Walgreens at coupons.com, use zip 75006.

      • Kelly

Thanks a ton for that tip!!!! I just printed mine:) We can stack that with the manufacturer q, right?

        • wendi

No you can’t stack them because both coupons are manufacturer’s coupons.

      • Katherine

Thanks!! I got 2 coupons to use tomorrow!!

      • wendi

        Thanks a million!

      • Yes, thanks for the Johnson’s printable info!

      • pamela

i also found a $1.00 off johnson & johnson products in my childrens acivity book!!

        • Patty

Where do you get the Children’s activity booklet? I asked at my WAGS and they didn’t know what I was talking about….thanks!

          • Niki

The “Children’s Activity Booklet” was located on an end cap near the toy aisle in my store (Laurens, SC). It cost .99 & is well worth it! Great q’s & stuff for the kids, too.

    • sara

      RR Question:

Are there limits on how many times you can do the RR deals? If I wanted to buy 4 of the Head and Shoulders would I get the $2 back each time? Would I have to do them in separate transactions?

      • LaDora

You Would Have To Do Them In Separate Transactions. Also, You Cannot Use A RR From The Head And Shoulders And Still Get Another One.

    • Theresa

I was in Walgreens earlier and they have a lot of makeup that is marked on clerance. It’s a great deal with the dollar and two dollar off coupons that have been coming in the paper if you have not already used them. I got a few things for a few cents today but its going fast.

    • DebbieD

I am new at this but my sales part of the newspaper gets delivered early and I am looking at page 12 where there is 45.00 worth of savings with and in-ad of 2.00 off neosporin and 4.00 off motrin, etc. not RR money?

    • DebbieD

Also,I don’t think the Johnson baby products are posted correctly?

      • Aimee

My $2/1 coupon (Man. coupon says good only at Walgreens) says it’s good for 27 oz or larger. My ad says only up to 15 oz are $2.99.

        • sara

Mine says 14oz or larger. Weird.

          • Jenny

And mine says 1 oz. or larger :) Very Strange

            • Elizabeth

              Hey Jenny:

The Johnson & Johnson items are $2.99 but there are no RR associated with them. In the ad they are placed close to the RR ad for cold meds for children but they are not part of that deal for $3 RR when you buy…

              FYI. Thanks!

            • Elizabeth

Should have looked before I wrote. Thanks for taking care of that in the list!

    • Malinda

Can someone help me understand how the Stayfree pads are both free? I get $1.99 after using the B1G1, $3.00 in store coupon and $1 coupon.

      • DC

One of the coupons is an in-ad store coupon. Those coupons are applied to every like item that you buy. So since you are buying two, it would take off $6 instead of just $3.

        • Malinda

Ok. Thank you. So I should use 2 $3.00 in store ads.

          • jennifer

You will only have to use 1 it will automaticly take it off of both.

    • I found a printable $1 off coupon for the Abreva if anyone missed the $3 SS 12/6 mfr Q. Go to Abreva.com, then click Try Abreva, then click Offers. Have to register/sign in and at the end able to print coupon.

    • Also the Walgreen’s in Anderson,SC (I just bought 4 at the Hwy. 24 location)are now selling the Anderson-Independent newspaper on Sundays for $1 instead of the usual $1.50. The Greenville newspaper is still $0.88 at Walgreen’s.

    • kristy

Just purchased the paper. Searched and searched for the electrasol coupons and cannot find it!!

      • It was in my paper in one of the SS inserts. The Kleenex $0.50 off Q was on the backside of the Finish mfr q if this helps.

        • kristy

Oh no! On the back of my kleenex page is a coupon for resolve spray and wash. Too bad. I really wanted this one. Maybe next time.

    • Stephanie

Did anyone find the $2.00 off Dove? If so, can you tell me where?

    • Marsha

Went to Wags this morning. Only the frizz ease JF products were giving the RRs. The Electrasol coupon worked (just make sure you buy the 20 count). The J&J baby products were not part of the RRs as someone mentioned above. The NyQuil deal worked for me (5 Nyquils and 2 free puffs).

      • Kelly

My wag’s had a bonus size (5 extras) so instead of 20 I got 25! WOOHOO! I did a happy dance for free detergent, but a REALLY happy dance for the free bonus!!!

        • Ashley

Aggh, mine had the bonus one too, but I was thinking the RR might not print on it since the ad said 20 tabs. I already had enough hectic bologna going on that I didn’t want to chance it.

I spent over an hour and 45 minutes in that darn store and 45 minutes of it was getting my money back that they owed me on 3 different transactions that the darn cashier messed up and was such an idiot about. If you only knew the crazy crap she did today! But the manager fixed it and I got my $20 back and only $9 OOP with a $15 MIR!

    • Amiah

J&J buy 2 and get 3 RR as stated above…. This doesnt work. In the add pg 14. there is a white box that states b2 or more get 3rr. IT IS ONLY FOR WHAT IS IN THE WHITE BOX~ I did it twice with different J&J product and no RR. I had my Wags manager come over and he did verify that this is correct. Rework your deal ideas if you have this factored in, i was a mess at check out and wasted some of my RR :(. Thank goodness my cashiers love me and are patient. :)

      • Lauren

I experienced the same thing this morning and also wasted some of my RR. Thank goodness there was not a line at the checkout counter!

        • Kelly

          Same here, grrr!

    • Sherry

I cant find the John frieda coupons. what zipcode did you use?

      • Sherry

        I found it under 30068

    • Lauren

I was excited about this weeks Walgreens ad however when I went this morning it was not quite what I expected…

On the website it stated that Johnsons baby wash and baby formula etc would get register rewards when you buy 2. When I checked out they did not get the RR. The only items that get the RR are those in the small white box which is Childrens Cold and Allergy medicine on page 14 of the ad.

Also, when you get the register rewards and plan to use them on another transaction and get 2 items you can not use 2 manuf. coupons and the register rewards unless you buy the third item. I was told that the RR coupons are mfg. coupons also. My cashier told me to grab a small candy item and scanned it then used the RR (mfg. coupon) and then voided off the candy. She said that it was a little trick that they found.

Maybe this will help some of you planning to go to Walgreens!

      • marina

I don’t think they are allowed to void the filler items. Walgreen’s system is set up to only allow as many coupons as you have items. That’s why Jenny lists filler items that are less than a dollar. HTH

        • Dana

They can void the item, if you get a friendly cashier! :) I had all my items and ended up 1 over with my Q’s and RR’s. My cashier grabbed some batteries, scanned them, scanned my RR then voided the batteries! :) Ended paying less than what the tax would have been!

      • Kelly

You are correct about the baby items under the “adorable deals” section. Only the ones in the white box offer the RR’s.

    • Carrie

The Post and Courier for Charleston papers
in SmartSource (Direct TV on front) is not running Electrasol coupon in the Sunday paper 1/3….

      • JBC

yeah! Hatin’ it!! I was really looking forward to free detergent!!!

    • amanda

I work at walgreens and deff not supposed to scan a filler item use rr then void the filler item! that is scaming the system and can get people fired.

      • Ashley

I’ve never heard of anyone doing that. Certainly haven’t heard anyone on here doing anything like that.

    • Libby

I was really excited about the j n j baby items. My husband and I are expecting our first and I’m trying to go ahead and buy things that we’ll need. I printed off the $2/1 q and I was wondering if I should go ahead and buy things for .99 or if anyone thinks they will go on sale anywhere else. Any comments would be appreciated!

    • Tony

Our Wags, Greenwood, SC, would not accept the Revlon $2 off coupon along w/their $3 off in-ad coupon because the in-ad coupon would have made the product (Revlon Matte Eye Shadow) a $1.99 which is not $2. I asked why come they just couldn’t make the coupon for a $1.99 and he just said they couldn’t do it. Didn’t make much sense, but, oh well…:(

      • Kim

Had the same response at my WAGS and they wouldn’t do the B1G1 Reach Toothbrushes either.

I still got some good deals though and didn’t leave completely frustrated. Interesting though how many times I was told how they are cracking down on coupon use. This is the first time I have been there in months! On top of that while I was sorting my q’s in one of the aisles and rechecking the ad – one of the department mgrs. kept coming down the aisle and looking to see what I was doing and then finally says “what if we don’t take coupons?” Oh well – at least the cashier was patient with me and friendly and I got 6 Electrasol for free – plus they were bonus packs of 25 instead of 20 uses.

        • Ashley

OMG! I can’t believe he said that. I wouldn’t put up with that.

      • My Wags in Anderson took that deal without a hitch. I was worried I was going to get some flack about it but didn’t.

      • Gerri

Tony, I did my Walgreen’s shopping yesterday at the store across from K-Mart. I didn’t have any trouble using the Revlon coupons. I gave the cashier the 2.00 MC first and then the Walgreen’s coupon. I think you have to hand coupons over in that order. Hope this helps.

    • Reagan

      so does walgreens stack coupons??

      • Yes. You can clip their coupons in their sales paper in addition to the mfr coupon. Register Rewards can be applied as well to the deal.

        • Reagan

k thank you!! I am going to try walgreens out… I’m a litte nervous cuz so far I’ve only done publix and they take like every coupon so it is easy :)

          • Kim

Remember to grab some filler items though – you can stack the store and manu. qs, but if you have a manufacturer q and a RR – you have to have at least two items to purchase. i.e. Electrosal and a .19 folder.

I learned that lesson the hard way early on and spent way too much because I didn’t understand how it worked.

    • Barb

No Quantum Finish on sale at WAGS in MI. Too bad!

    • Sarah C

At my Walgreens right outside Knoxville, TN the Neosporin lip products were 2/$8 and still had the $3 RR making this a money maker if you buy 2 and use 2 coupons.

    • Nancy

There’s a .99 coupon for Carmex lip balm in the walgreens ad. Check if you have the catalina for $1 off Carmex to get it free. I know i forget sometimes to check my catalinas, i have them all stuffed together in my binder.

    • Tracie

Has anyone tried the Neosporin Lip Therapy deal where you buy 2 and get $3 RR? I cannot find it in my ad anywhere. I am in Charlotte.

      • Nancy

I’m in the wesley chapel/waxhaw area. i just got that deal today. i don’t see it in the ad either, but the RR red sign was on the shelf, and i got the RR.

      • Sarah

Yes, it wasn’t in my ad either. There was an end cap/cardboard display thing at my store that said “$3 RR when you buy two” or something like that. I didn’t have any problems with it at the register.

      • Katherine

I was able to get it with no problems

      • Molly

I was worried about this too, because it wasn’t printed in the flyer. (I checked and rechecked) But, I tried it today and it worked fine. Plus, the Neosporin Lip Therapy is on sale for 2/$8 (not $4.49), so with your -$3 coupons and the RR you get back, it becomes $1 profit instead of just free!!

        • Lisa

          same for me.

          • twyla

Im in North Florida…just left my Wags …didnt try this because i didnt think it would give me the rewards back…Thanks for the info Im gonna go back this afternoon and try it :))))

    • Stacey

I looked at my WAGS circular today to plan my trip for tomorrow. I wanted to stock up on some bandaids since they were shown on here as getting $3 rr. Problem is they were not in my circular. Are they on sale in the store even if they are not advertised? I live in the Atlanta area. Thanks for the help!

      • TinaM

I did not find them in our store ad either. I live in Athens.

    • Malinda

I went to Walgreens this evening in Fort Mill, SC. The Stayfree 28 ct. pads were $6.29 instead of $5.99. I got 6 packs for $.145 cents (87 cents total) each (still not bad but not as good as free). I also got the last box of Electrasol they had and use my RR to buy $1 Lady Speed Stick Deodorant that was on sale for $1.00 and need to stockpile some deodorant. Here is my trip:

      1. 6 packages of Stayfree 28 ct pads at $6.29 each – I used 3 B1G1 coupons from 1/3 paper and 1 $3 off store coupon for a cost of $.145 cents each

      2. 1 Box of Electrosol at $3.49 – I used the $2.50 off coupon from 1/3 paper for a cost of $.99

Total for this transaction = $3.49 with tax :) Yipee!!!!!

      3. I then got $1 RR and purchased Lady Speed Stick Deodorant for $1 for a cost of $.07

Total for this trip = $3.56

With the 2 Kotex pads I bought yesterday from Rite Aid for $1.98 (Sale price $2.99 each – used a $2.00 off 2 coupon and $2 SCR) I now have a good stockpile of pads. :)

It was such a great and awesome feeling to walk out of Walgreens knowing that I saved 92% on my shopping trip (thanks for the savings tracker too).

Thank you so much Jenny for all your hard work on Southern Savers!!!!! Your ministry is a blessing to so many people.

      • Lisa Parker

I was very disappointed today when I tried to use BOGO coupon on the stayfree and the store coupon. The cashier told me should would have use the discounted price for the BOGO. I told her thanks but no thanks. I would take my coupons to Rite Aid. I didn’t get the deal on the reach products either. Walgreens seems to make harder and harder. Well I am thankful for free electrosol and cheap cheese. I hit Rite Aid and got free Stayfree and Nivea Lip Care. NO Problems.

    • An idea to go along with the free batteries with Cloudy with …dvd: there is a mail in or email in rebate for a free spot shot product up to 5.49 value in SS 1/3 as well as a dollar off coupon. So for $17 there abouts you could get a cute movie, free batteries, and free carpet cleaner.

    • Nina

I have a question, because I know Walgreens is strict on their coupon policies but in the ad it has a $5 walgreens coupon for KY intense gel and I have a $5 off manufacturer’s coupon for the KY intense gel that expires 1/10/10, so can I combine them or will they only allow one?

      thanks! :-)

      • shelleyschu

If they both say “manufacturers coupons” you can’t combine.

        • Nina

It says walgreens coupon on one and manufacturer on the other, so does that mean I can use them both?

          • Jenny

            It does.

    • shelleyschu

Hi. Just a few notes for Walgreens post this week:

      * You can’t use both deals for the Kleenex and Progresso soups at the same time. I tried unfortunately and burned all of my $.50/1 coupons for the soup. Did not realize that they were the same rebate. Arrgh. Poor planning on my part…

      * Kellogg’s RR does not work for the Special K Bars. Still an awsome price though with coupon. This is my on-the-road breakfast. :-)

Overall — great week at Walgreens. Thanks Jenny!

I’m plotting out my Nestle strategy and getting more Lean Cuisine coupons. I smell lunch!

      * Success!! Did get 4 Electrol’s for FREE!! I’ve visited all of the Walgreens in my area. Have one more coupon left for a lunch visit.

      * Success!! Also got 4 free packages of Stayfree pads for the local domestic violence shelter! Yeah!

      • Joanne Thornton

Thank you for letting me know about the special K not working. I messed up my transaction yesterday and thought i lost out on the RR’s.
I feel so much better that i could not actually even get them.
That was a great price anyway.

        • Lisa

          Special K worked for me.

    • Beverly

I went to WAGS for the second time after getting 2 RR on a product. I tried purchasing something the next day and they would not let me stack my RR and a MQ. Cashier tried different things but computer would only let me use one :-( I like stacking. AND I had a $1 MQ on Puffs and WAGS had them on sale of .89 but would not price adjust my Q so that I could purchase it for free. I went to 2 WAGs and both said that they don’t price adjust Qs. I have more fun shopping at CVS.

      • If you are using rr’s, understand that a rr is a MANUFACTURER COUPON. You can’t buy one item, and use a mq and a rr for the item. Just like anywhere else, the numer of items you have cannot be exceeded by your coupons, so you will have to have the same number of items as coupons. You need a “filler” to use your rr with your mq for your tissues.

    • suellen

FYI, the listerine that’s one sale is not what the qpon is for and my walgreens checked today and I was unable to use the qpon to get the $1 deal….darnit!!! She said the whitening has to be the whitening PLUS restoring kind……aagghh!!!

      • Lisa

I experienced similar frustration with this deal. My husband and I stared at all of the different listerine options and thought we picked up one that was on sale for $4 and that would also work with both the $2 off Walgreens coupon and a $.50 off manuf. coupon. We rang up and found out the $2 off Listerine Store coupon does not coincide with the $4 sale priced Listerines. The cashier was very nice and had gone back to the shelf to grab the listerines that would work with the $2 off, but they were all priced at about $6 or more. I verified myself with the ad and the coupon. Don’t know how I missed it the first time. Oh well.

    • Natalie

I found the -$2 revlon in the SS not the RP

    • kim

looking for the $1 coupon for Revlon that was supposed to be in RP 12/13…has anyone found it? Want to stack wiht the $3 Walgreens coupon for the free deal.

      • kim

sorry…actually looking for the $2 off RP coupon from 12/13. Thanks

        • It was regional- I know we didn’t get it (middle TN)

    • Dee R.

I have a couple of questions about the blood glucose monitors. I have several $30 coupons. Also, this is my first time purchasing one.

Can I purchase the monitor + $15 of other stuff and get the entire order free? I know I would have to have at least one more filler item, right?

Also, what do you do with all of these monitors? I was thinking about donating them to local doctor’s offices to give to those who could use a break.

      • Libby

Every time I’ve done this they just deduct the price of the meter. They’re supposed to write the purchase price in on the q I believe.

      • This isn’t a $30 coupon. It’s for the value of the item “up to $30”. So the cashier will scan the q, it will beep and they will enter $14.99 for the price of the meter. No overage.

      • Dee R.

Thanks for clearing that up for me!

    • Marsha

I got lucky today and got the Reach toothbrushes free (and they were packaged as a double pack at the same price) so I got 4 of them for free using just my one mfr coupon!! But they did screw up my neosporin order and I ended up losing the coupon but getting the cash for it…still confused on that one. They said once they scan it then they can’t give you the coupon back. Anyone know if that is true?

      • Libby

At publix a while back when they had covergirl in the advantage deals I believe. I was going to do a great deal and get concealer for free. Turns out they were either priced wrong or on the wrong peg and I paid before I looked to see why my bill was so expensive. It was Publix (great store!) and they gave me my money back and my qs.

    • ATTENTION Clarksville TN shoppers. For the person who shopped at the Exit 1 Walgreens off Tiny Town Rd yesterday morning around 9/9:30am, a few suggestions…
I have been shopping this store for over a year and have a great relationship with them, they’re awesome. But you really got on their bad side after your transactions yesterday. Some suggestions.

First, this store does NOT accept expired rr’s! Apparently (I was there this morning) the manager was having a fit because she was going over yesterday’s coupons and found out someone had used a bunch of expired rr’s. I reassured her that they would be reimbursed for them, but that is not the policy of this store!

Second, please have all your transactions prepared before you get in line. Have your fillers and all your items added up with coupons matched and ready to go. Being unprepared in line is annoying.

Third, Always check out at the cosmetics counter or photo counter. There is less of a line and you can take your time.

Fourth, Never, EVER hold up a line to do a ton of transactions. Do one transaction, then if there are people behind you, get out of line and let them go, then do another transaction. Don’t stand there for 25 minutes holding up the line to do ten transactions and figure out your fillers and math.

This is a great store and they are very nice and helpful, will let you do as many transactions as you want, and they understand coupons, so no coupon drama…if you stay on their good side. Being courteous and prepared goes a long way.

I’ve worked on helping this store understand rr’s and coupons since I started shopping there (and since they opened), please don’t ruin it for the others! One of the cashiers told me that one of the managers thought I was the one shopping and using the expired rr’s, etc. (I am one of two couponers that regularly shop there), but the cashier told her I would never do that as I know the policy.

Please don’t make us look bad!

      • Oh, and I know the person who shopped was a southern savers reader because she told the cashier she got all her info from southern savers.

    • Angel

I haven’t been able to find the stayfree or reach coupons in the sc state paper 1/3. I even bought 2 papers thinking it was left out of the 1st one. Am I looking in the wrong place?

      • avenlee

I didn’t get the Stayfree Q’s either. I didn’t get ALOT of the good Q’s. I didn’t get the Nivea, L’Oreal, Stayfree, O.B., Playtex, Excedrin, Tylenol or Finish Q’s!! I’m so disappointed. I never get the Finish or the Schick Q’s. It’s a regional thing. I’m in MA.

        • jess

the post and courier didn’t get any of the J&J q’s or the reach q’s or the stayfree q’s. needless to say i’m quite disappointed as i was excited about getting started on walgreens and really learning it!! what a bummer.

    • julie

Ugh, I just went and totally fouled up. The stayfree deal worked fine but I didn’t read the Reach coupon closely enough and missed that it was for single toothbrushes. There were packs with 2 in them so I picked those up. The wags coupon took off $2 for each but they wouln’t take the mfg coupon. By then I was so flustered and there was a long line with impatient people so I just paid and got out of the way. When I got in the car and realized I didn’t get the rr for the Electrasol! I can live with that as $1 for 25 tabs is pretty good but I hate that I paid $4 for the toothbrushes. Have y’all ever returned items when you have messed up the deal?? I am thinking of returning them.

      • Jennifer

Yes, if you’re not happy with the price or you messed up, just return the item(s). You can even have them re-ring them up once you get the single packs. Should not be a big deal at all. I did the same thing yesterday with the Theraflu deal. I thought I had to buy 2 and get 4RR. But the deal is buy one Theraflu and one Lipton Tea and get 4RR. So I just returned the Theraflu and got my coupons back. No problem.

    • Jessica

I tried to find the print coupon for $2/1 on the Johnson’s baby products, used zip 75006, could not locate it but did come up with a coupon for $10 check by mail on the purchase of $30 on Johnson and Johnson (Beauty for all ages).

    • Kelly

Just FYI… went to Walgreens today. The $3RR deal for the Neosporin was my only glitch. Instead of the Neosporin lip therapy, I purchased 2 Neosporin creams, on sale 2/$8. I used (2) $1/1 manufacturers coupons and the $2 coupon from the Children’s Activity Book(which took off $4)..so $8-6=$2 for two Neosporin, not bad. However, I was expecting the $3RR to print. Instead, a coupon to save $3 on any (2) Tylenol cold and sinus, Sudafed family of products, Neosporin lip health, or Purell 8fl.oz. products printed instead. Disappointing, but will use it in the future.

      • Courtney

did the catalina machine beep? if not, it wasn’t finished printing. i did this deal (along with several others) and also got the $3 catalina for cold and flu meds. however, it still printed my $3 neosporin RR also along with all my others. the machine should give a beep after it is finished printing which lets you know that it is done with your transaction.

    • Lisa

Does anyone have a zip code for the $2 Johnson baby coupon? I’ve tried several and can’t seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

    • Sean

There is a month long RR for $2 when you buy 2 6oz chips ahoy cookies. This week they are 99 cents each making them free!!!

      • Sharon

Thanks!! I did this and it worked but it wasn’t in my local ad. Where did you find this deal? Can I get Oreos?

        • Sean

Don’t I wish. No. It is just the chips ahoy. I found it at iheartwags and tried it. It worked, so I shared here.

    • Shawna

reach toothbrush deal wasn’t a money maker for me The Walgreens I go to has very funny and paticular ways of doing coupons. I paid $2.35 to buy 2. The $1 coupon I had was not for toohbrushes but for the floss so buying that instead of the toothbrushes was a better deal. It may depend on the person rining it up, but I have never been able to walk out of Walgreens without them calling the manager for assistance. I never try to sneak anything by them and try hard to get exactly what the coupon states but it hasn’t proved to be a fun experience unless one particular lady is working that understands the coupons and system better.

They also have system issues with packages that have a bonus item on them(such as a free trial sample included)–they don’t always work with the coupons since they have a dif. item number. SO, you have to bring the bonus pack up that you want to get AND the one without the bonus so they can ring up the not bonus one and hand you the other—thankfully, I had the nice lady when that happened–she told me how their system works on that one.

      • Veronica

Where is that Walgreens toothbrush coupon? I can’t find it in my ad.

        • Veronica

OK, I must be COMPLETELY blind. I found it.

    • Nancy

Walgreens has Gillette Mens Shampoo clearenced From $5.59 to a $1.59 and P&G has $1.00 off coupons I bought 10 bottles plus 4 clearence Revelon make-up and TheraFlu, Sprite sct the total was $102 and I only paid $7.05 ! I am in Florence SC and I did leave some for others lol. Also Wal-greens has a tearpad in the Shampoo aisle for $1.00 off any Loreal Product it is a Manufacture coupon I used them in Bi-lo yesrterday as Florence Bi-lo has closeout on some Loreal Shampoo and Stylers marked down from approx $7 to $2.29 and with the $1.00 equals great deal

    • Emily

I used the coupon on the Bayer meter and it did not print the $5 register rewards. The cashier and manager said it was because I used a manufacturer’s coupon and the RR is also a manufacturer coupon.

Anyone else had this happen? Not a big deal since I got it free anyway, but I was just wondering.

      • Courtney

i bought 2 today in different transactions and used several mfc’s q each time, including the $30 bayer meter coupon each time. my RR’s printed just fine. i think that is just something they say when the RR doesn’t print to get the customer to go away.

    • kristine

Has anyone else had problems with the progresso soup $3 RR not printing out? I bought $10 worth of soup but my RR didn’t print. I used a RR to pay for a portion of it, but it was one from a complete different manufacturer. I also had coupons, yet more items than Q’s. I love my walgreens and my sweet cashier, so didn’t make a stink of it. Just wanted to know if anyone else had problems with this one printing.

      • michelle

        I had the same issue.

        • kristine

Hmmmmm, guess I am not a single incident then. Oh, well, better luck for us next time :).

    • Amber

`My walgreens will only take their coupons first and then the manufacturers coupons. Does anybody else have that problem? The deals never work out for me because of this.

      • michelle

I had to hold the coupons until the cashier had everything rang up, she insisted I give her the walgreens ones while she was ringing in the order but I just stood my ground and said I would prefer to do the manufacture coupons first and then walgreens.

        Could you try another walgreens?

        • Amber

I tried two stores yesterday and they both did it. I guess I need to learn to just stand my ground! LOL

      • Joanne Horan

Weird. The Wags I go to , I just have to show them the ad in the flyer and they take off the price automatically. I only clip the coupons because I always forget to include them in the sale. Today though I just took the part of the flyer I needed. Maybe I should just write a note to myself on my list instead so I remember.

    • caroline

Sometime back, someone gave advice on her to change the http://www…. window to print more than two coupon per item.
I think this was sometime back in september – October.
Would be grateful if someone redirect me to this link.

    • Kim

I just got back from Walgreens and the Neosporing lip products rang up at 2/$8, so they were even a better deal than listed above. I used 2 $3 off coupons, and got 2 Stayfree products using the $3 off store coupon and the B1G1 coupons. Out of pocket I spent $3.14 but I got $3RR back, so when I use that I’ll only be out of pocket 14 cents!!!! I think I’m going to start gathering things for Christmas gift bags now!!!

    • Sara B

i cannot find the b1g1 reach OR stayfree in my RP’s ;( boo

    • Emily

At my Walgreens in OK the Sensodyne ProNamel for kids (3.4oz) is $3.49. You can use the Walgreens in-ad coupon ($2 off 1 Sensodyne) and the coupon that was in this past Sunday’s paper ($1 off 1 Sensodyne) together to make it $0.49. Not free, but still a pretty good price!

    • Veronica

I am having trouble finding the $2 in-ad Reach toothbrush coupon. Can someone please tell me where it is? Thanks!

      • Veronica

Sorry, I must be BLIND. I found it finally.

    • Sarah

The John Frieda deal was amazing! I did 4 separate transactions at WG’s tonight and only spent $28 total on over $100 of items. BTW, the store took my $5/4 Kellogg’s cereal coupon that I had printed for Target, so I ended up with 4 boxes of Special K for only $5 and got $2 RR printed for it – Total for 4 boxes was $3!

    • jess

if i do all my RR’s deals in one transaction will all the RR’s print? and there is no limit usually at walgreens right? so if i did two identical transactions (ie: 2 chips ahoy cookies; 2 neosporin products; 2 playtext tampons) as two separate transactions would the RR’s print for both trans.? ? does that make sense? i’m also going to add the bayer meter to one of those.

      • Ashley

If you wanted to buy 2 of an RR deal you have to put them in separate transactions in order to receive the RR’s on both of them. And yes, there are limits sometimes. The ad will say if there is or not. At my store, I know which cashiers won’t let me get more than one if it is Limit 1 even in 2 different transactions, and I know the ones that don’t care and just do whatever.

        • Ashley

FYI It’s always the older women cashiers that cause problems at every store. Try to get in line with a young person or male.

          • Courtney

i have found this to be 10000000000% true. i avoid them at all costs. earlier this week, i actually asked for someone to come to the cosmetics counter in order to avoid the drama.

    • This morning went to Walgreens to get the Pullups for $8.99. I was going to get two and I had 2 $2mq and the Huggies Coloring Book coupon for $1. The register would not take them all. I know they stack and in fact I have done this several times (stacking the huggies mq and coloring book mq. The cashier did one mq then the coloring book and then the other mq beeped. He then tried to redo it with both mq’s and the coloring book last and it beeped. It was very frustrating. Then the asst. manager came and said that it was not possible. I tried to explain I had done it before but he just said soory. Has anyone had a problem with using an mq and the coloring book coupon for Huggies?

      • Sarah

That’s just bizarre! I’ve successfully done similar transactions many times, and my understanding is that Wags coupons don’t count in your item to coupon ratio. Had it been me, I would have probably just tried to throw in a cheap filler item to see if they have weird registers, but theoretically, your transaction sounds fine to me.

        • Thanks Sarah! At least it makes me feel better that it sounds bizarre to someone else too!

    • keyra

I cant get the visine coupon to come up? Is any one else having this problem? Is there a better zip code to use than mine?

    • TammynSC

Has anyone else had a problem with coupons.com? I tried to print the L’Oreal Hair Color coupon and instead of printing they were “added to savings card.” I don’t have a savings card listed with them. I’ve never had an issue until today. Any ideas?

    • Amy

I live in OK. Tried to do the Buy $20 in pepesi products get $10 RR last night. My info said I could purchase 4 cases of Aquafina at the $5.99 price to qualify, use the in ad price of $3.99 ea. and still get the $10RR. Instead they said the ad coupon made my total below the $20 so I had to void that trans., go buy two more pepsi products to bring my before tax total to $20 before they would give the $10RR. Any help in what I did wrong. I wanted to give up this whole thing.

      • Jennifer

I did the same trasaction (4 waters and in ad coupon) and I didn’t have to buy more to get the 10 RR print. If he/she would have hit subtotal it should have printed.

    • Rachel

I am very frustrated. For the most part everything on this website has been so accurate and very helpful, but this past week has discouraged me a lot. I picked up 5 newspapers this week, because of the bounty of coupons in the January 3rd paper (I live in Columbia, SC by the way). I was so excited about all of the matchups at walgreens this week, but couldn’t find ANY of them! the stayfree maxi pads, reach toothbrush, listerine/rembrandt whitening rinse…. what is going on here? is it a variation that i’m missing? HELP. very frustrated. agh.

    • Jesse

just wanted to let everyone know about the neosporin deal- its 2 for 8 for the ointment. buy 2, use the walgreens coupon from the coloring book for $2/1 (takes off $4) and there was a $1/1 coupon this past week in red plum i believe. so its $8 minus $4 and minus $2 so you pay $2 OOP and get a $3 RR! its a money maker! :)

    • Megan

I need help!!! Sort of new to couponing so this may be silly but why is it that when I click on a specific coupon from this website (for instance the neosporin coupon), it brings up the site and has the button for me to click PRINT COUPON…but then it goes to a blank page and at the top it just say Printing… It never does anything and I’ve tried this on several different things and I’m getting very disappointed!!! Is there something wrong with my computer or the site or the link???? By the way, I can print coupons (like from coupons.com) just not from these direct links. PLEASE PLEASE someone explain this to me!!!!

    • CA

I was fairly proud of my Walgreen’s deal today so I wanted to share (my husband wasn’t too excited but I thought you all might be). I purchased 5 John Frieda Root Awakening shampoo and conditioners on clearance for $3 each (with coupons it was $3 for all 5). Then, I got 2 Lip Smackers products for $1 a piece since they were on clearance and I had 2 of the $1 printables from last week. Then, I did the Neosporin lip deal and with my RR got the 2 of the GUM Crayola toothbrush packs since they were buy one for 2.99 get one free. Threw in the a bottle of Jane mineral foundation for $1 on clearance. All that for only 7.50 out of pocket! Is it OK to feel a rush from couponing?
