Fellow folks doing Weight Watchers:

If you were thinking of skipping your weekly meeting/weigh in this week… DON’T.  The weekly newsletter (which regularly has manufacturer coupons in it) has a $4 off $20 CVS coupon in it!!

I’ve had an awesome week of tracking and exercising so I’m already excited to go, but this makes me practically giddy!

        You can still go to a meeting. I do both on certain weeks. When I feel like I had an awesome week, I go to get that extra praise to keep me going. Looks like I will go this week

      Have you tried the deep dish pizza casserole on the WW site.. WOW it is SO good and I had coupons for everything in it beside the veggies.. Makes it even BETTER!

      No coupon….and up .2 pounds….I can't figure out why on earth this measuring, weighing and all isn't working at all…I've been on it for 2 months, paid hundreds, and….gained weight….

        I have tried WW twice & it does not work for me. I have lost 10 lbs in the last 2 weeks by cutting out sweets, sugar & eating sensibly. That is eating smaller portions of what I would normally eat. When I would go to WW I would be only one of my friends who stuck to the diet & the only one who did not lose weight. If it doesn't work for you try something different.

          THANK YOU! I don't feel like the only oddball then! It just doesn't work for me! I'm thinking quitting, and not gaining the weight would be better than spending my money on all the products they push on you and actually gaining weight, which is what I've done!

          The good news is today is Ash Wednesday, and I do give up something near and dear to me for lent…This year, it's sugar and junk food. It gives me an opportunity to realize how little my sacrifice is compared what has been given up for me….Who knows? Maybe I'll lose a few pounds, too!

            I read a few of the comments back and forth about weight watchers, gaining, losing, works for some not others. My sister is becoming a nutritional health coach and I have been blessed by her sharing her new found knowledge with me! Would you mind emailing me and I would LOVE to share something I was able to use to help me lose my baby weight. My son is almost 2 and I have kept off my baby weight!!               MOmof3, don't give up. I've struggled with my weight for years & just this past year, I finally lost all of my baby weight from both kids (6 & 2). It's been so hard, but I did it all by diet & exercise. I pray you can find.something that works for you. I have about 15-20 more to go & I've been @ a plateau since Dec.
              Amanda, I'd love any advice you have. I love hearing new things.

        I know it's hard. It took me a long time to get used to to the new system. I'm sure your leader can offer you more advice. Just keep at it, I know it can be discouraging at times when the scale doesn't show all the work you've put into the plan. Have you tried e tools? They've really helped me with my tracking. You're doing great, we all have those weeks where we have a gain and don't understand why.

          I've done it all–I find the etools to be more labor intensive for me. I'm only eating what I'm supposed to be eating, and I feel horrible, and the bottom line is the weight has not come off. None of it. I really find it depressing that Jenny is touting this so much (I hope she's getting at least free weigh ins for all the effort) that it really hurts that after 4 months now of following it to the letter, I've actually gained weight! (No, I have not lost a single pound.) And, the leader isn't at all helpful–She looked at a few of my entries and said, “This looks good.” That was is. I've tried to get help from the national office, thinking that they may have a dietician or something there, but no one calls me back, and you get the same local person when you call the “800” number….I've also asked several times to speak with the regional person, but no one bothers…I guess when you're fat and frustrated, you're invisible…

        I meant 4 months, by the way…I guess November really was further off than I originally thought…So why isn't spring here yet?

        I have lost 14lbs. been on it for 2months

        I lost 43 lbs on old system. With the new Points Plus I gained 5. I went back to old points and old ways. 2 more to lose to get back to where I was. Too many points on PP I think and adding in free fruit messed me up. Stick with it. It's so worth it. I went from size 16 to 6 (some 4's) in a little over a years. So but sure.

        hang in there,, ask ur counselor where u could be going wrong.. I am a lifer.. and this new plan was a little different for me.. but.. its working.. with all the free fruit and veggies.. we need to pump up our protein… that has been successful for me.. good luck….

        You have to register for Weight Watchers and attend weekly meetings. Go to the Weight Watchers website and find a local meeting place. This is not something you want to sign up for JUST to gret coupons- this is ONLY if you wanna lose weight- it cost about 40 bucks a month- but it is a GREAT weight loss program! The coupons in the book are just a bonus.

      Has anyone doing WW Online received this coupon? I'm wondering how to get it…
      On a side note about the effectiveness – I finish my 8th week tomorrow, and am down 22.2 lbs. I did WW 10 years ago and it worked well, but slowly. I'm thrilled with the new PP system. 2 pounds to go to Goal 4 and 48 to go to the end goal… :)
