Saving at Whole Foods sometimes means getting creative.  Right now there is a way to save $10:

Use an American Express card to sign up for the Whole Foods gift card auto load of $100 or more and score a $10 bonus!

This is not a huge bonus, but if you plan on spending money there already then it is a FREE $10 to spend on food.

I can’t find any fine print anywhere – did you see this posted somewhere? I just see the banner on the whole foods gift card page but no details.

The only thing I got for registering for this was a boat load of SPAM in my email. Very disappointed in Whole Foods if they are responsible for this. :(

      • Hey there, this is hosted through Whole Foods so I wouldn’t expect any issues with spam. Did you by chance also do the Moolala deal for movie tickets? We have had a few complaints about that one and I’ve contacted them to get it cleared up.

    • I clicked on Jenny’s link to Whole Foods gift cards. Since I’ve never had a Whole Foods gift card before, I knew that I couldn’t “reload” one, so I bought one for the $100 w/AmEx, but there is no mention of any $10 bonus. After alot of searching their site, it now appears that I have to wait for it to arrive by mail, REGISTER for a giftcard RELOADING Acct, and THEN spend $100 w/AmEx(again) to reload the thing for that $10 bonus! So I will have to put out $200 now to get the $10 bonus.

**A cheaper option may have been to make that initial giftcard purchase for only the minimum of $10 w/any chargecard, and then the $100 w/AmEx later for the $10 bonus.**

Maybe Jenny should add a blurb about this to her original post to save some frustration for others..?? It’s still a pretty good deal.
