    • Jennifer

Can I use both the Chicken coupon and the flower coupon on the same visit?

    • Kaela

So excited about this one! Going to go get some chicken today! I was also wondering if you could use both of them?

    • Shannon

Do you think Publix will take the chicken coupon? I shop at either the Atlantic Station or Midtown Atlanta Publix. Thanks!

    • alison

i just got mine this morning. they are regularly $7.99. no problem at all at the harry’s on roswell by the big chicken in ga.

    • Why not valid in VA? Darn…that’s too bad, free chicken would’ve been nice, oh well.

    • Kaela

Just got my free chicken- and yeah, it is normally $7.99!! And then they gave me more FREE coupons for free milk, free salad and dressing and free macaroni and cheese! YUM!

    • Publix stores in Greenville recently posted notices, stating that they honor direct competitor coupons. When asked, they defined “direct competitors” as Bi-Lo, Ingles, and Whole Foods. So, I’m planning to print an extra copy of each coupon to take to Publix, too!

    • This is awesome! Thanks!!

    • Meredith

Publix Lee Branch in Birmingham took mine without question!!!

    • Bobbie

Just came across this and it expires today. Wish I had know sooner. Oh well.

    • It did expire Sept. 15 when I printed one out yesterday. When I went back to my link today it had been changed to read Aug. 27….TODAY! I guess they had a run on chickens and changed the coupon.

    • Sarah

i am officially not impressed with this coupon. it is 7 kinds of wrong to send out a coupon that gives you two weeks to use it, only to change it within hours to today’s date as an expiration. I used to shop whole foods. Never mind them now. If they are not ready to handle the volume of business a coupon like this will bring they shouldn’t come up with it in the first place. Do you think they will honor the coupons that say sept 15 or not?

    • Patty

I will hold them accountable as much as possible! This was one way I that I could get some of my “Whole” paycheck back but that’s their choice. In the meantime, we can still use them at Publix in the Upstate. They will accept Whole Foods as a valid local competitor as we only have one of those in the area. This was from our store in Taylors SC today. They only have one bouquet (@ $12.99)so they honored the whole cost. I love Publix still. I was lucky, I still had the Whole Foods coupon for the chicken with the exp of 9/15 up on my computer and it printed with the 9/15 date again just fine!

    • Wow- I can’t believe Whole Foods did that with the expiration date. I am glad I printed four of them yesterday.

    • Alicia

My Publix let me combine this q with the buy a rotisserie get a free Coke 2-liter Publix q. Talk about a bargain, why drive all the way to Whole Foods, when I can do this instead.

    • Dena

Looks like the coupon llink is not valid anymore.

    • Amanda

Patty, can you send that file to me please? I didnt get this until today and it is now expired! stroud_as AT yahoo DOT com

    • Sherry

Both coupons expired on Aug 27.

    • Meredith

They completely canceled the Q! Because it was distributed through channels that they had not “anticipated”!

    • jennyM

Patty, would you mind to save it to a PDF? And e-mail it to me jenny.mattingly@gmail.com

I am using it at Publix so it isn’t like it is a bar code or anything. Thank you, I would really appreciate it.

    • Christine

Does this mean if we printed it then we can’t use it? Mine expires Sept. 15.

    • carol

I went to the store on Woodruff road this morning in Greenville. Presented my chicken with coupon and no problems….I did notice 1 sign up at the rotisserie that said, ” 1 coupon per customer per day”….I plan to honor that. great deal.

    • Kelly

Coupon has been taken down. It was only meant for certain email customers.

    • Jessica

I asked customer service at publix before I tried to use it, they said they do not honor anything “free” printed from the internet. Thought it was worth a try since whole foods is a little further for me. But I went there Friday and they didnt give me any trouble. Glad I printed a couple extras. They were out of the “fiesta” flowers but they had roses on sale for 5.99 so it made them .99 which was a nice happy. Thanks for the coupon!!!

    • I used it tonight at Publix on Pelham in Greenville. I asked a manager before I tried it and he said they would honor it.

    • Patty

Amanda #17 and JennyM #20 I am so sorry. Didn’t think about saving it as a PDF file but good idea! Wish I had saved it. I would have been happy to share. Wish I had thought about getting the Chicken and Coke deal like Alicia #15 too. I was just too excited about a whole bird for free and cooked already! If you printed it already or know someone who can share one with you, it appears Whole Foods will honor it. Seems they also were not prepared for the traffic on this one. Did not order enough flowers for the promo and it was not to begin for another week. Seems that was what the big deal was all about. I am surprised that they did not issue a specific customer number on the coupons to combat any “unauthorized” use.;) I guess not so smart thinking on the part of someone. I understand the herbed flavor goes fast so go early in the morning to score one of those.

    • Patty

Oh, and a footnote about the Upstate Publix accepting Whole Foods coupons…seems they want the traffic that the coupons would bring as they are well into the natural/organic foods and are really in competition with Whole Foods in that market. Think of all the Greenwise products that compare to 365. So I will certainly try to use my Whole Foods coupons at Publix and stack them where possible with manufacturers coupons. It will probably be cheaper too. I like Whole Foods but geez, Louise, sometimes just too far out of my reach and sensibility to shop there for everything. And, seems they are inconsistent from store to store on their policy about stacking coupons (see thethriftymama.com..thrifty and natural). I will ask for more details and let you know what I find out later about our only WH in Greenville as it relates to stacking. I just don’t have patience for wishy washy. Just the facts, Ma’am!

    • The coupon has been taken down. It said that it was only intended for email subscribers and it was improperly distributed and used, so obviously, I couldn’t get any. :(

    • Suzanne

I tried to use mine at my Publix in Taylors today. They said they are not honoring the coupon because Whole Foods discontinued it. There went my Sunday lunch. =(

    • Jennifer

I used mine at Publix on Pelham Road in Greenville today!!
