Here are your Publix deals that start today 4/22 in most areas or 4/23 in FL. This is another great week with a few FREE items and some with overage. There are a few deals this week that havve Target printables with them. Please ask your store if they accept these before checking out. MANY do not take them anymore and only take grocery stores.

Don’t forget the advantage buy deals . New Green advantage buy deals will be out this coming Sunday.

**Just to remind you, I only list items that are a good price. There are lots of things in a weekly ad that are not on sale. Your goal is to buy items when they are their lowest price and stock up on them- my goal is to only list them at that lowest price. **

Check out the Food Lion Printable coupons before you go shopping. Remember that you can use a competitor coupon for house brand items on Publix house brands.

Remember:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon too)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are .50¢ or less

Just thought I would post this last minute store special at Publix on Highway 124 in Centerville, GA. I took my Lysol toilet bowl cleaners in with me to see how much they were because my coupons are expiring soon and to my pleasant surprise, they were on sale for an in store special 2/$4. Windex is also 2/$4. My Lysol toilet bowl cleaner coupons I printed off a while back for the lysol rebate were $1/1, so I got three of them at $1 each. Our new week starts tomorrow for the next weeks sales. I'm not sure if all the Publix have this in store special or not.

Our Publix runs ads from saturday to sat, and doesn't mail in their coupons for reimbursement until the next week. So they will accept expired manufacturer's coupons as long as they have not been expired for more than 1 week.

Watch out for the $1/2 mac n cheese Target coupon.DH took my list shopping last Friday and brought home two single serve bowls instead of 2 boxes of 6 packets.He paid 50 cents each, I went back and got the the 2 boxes that are BOGO for $1.20 each.There is no package size on the coupon. We use the cheaper mac and cheese normally, but it's nice to have a quick convenience hot food on hand for the kids so this is the only way I would buy this product.

Met my first less than coupon happy cashier.He scrutinized every coupon with a frown, started to call the manager twice then changed his mind, and never even spoke to me! He's rare there, but I can see how bad it makes you feel. I had to tell myself that I was not doing anything wrong, he just did a poor job hiding his uncertainty. I got $21.78 of groceries for $4.98. 77% off and he didn't like that very much.

Emily, Coming from a family where couponing is an absolute necessity, I thought I'd like answer your toilet papaer question and how I tackled it. I got tp at CVS when they were having the $3 off an item so I stocked up then. I also was able to get a bunch when I went to a Bloom's triple coupon sale once. Now to really embarrress myself, I have bought Kleenex tissue when on sale at the various stores and I, personally, use a tissue instead of tp since I was able to get a lot of it cheaply. The rest of the family uses tp. You can also use your CVS ecb's and Walgreen's RR's and buy free tp. When you transfer a prescription and get a gift card, that is a good time to stock up on those things that are hard to find on sale with a good coupon. Lastly, you can always buy store brand or buy at Dollar Tree for a buck or Dollar General.

oh Im fixin to cause a run on GLADE air freshners, LOL
Today at the Lexington, SC Publix got 2 boxes of 2 Glade refills and in each box was a coupon for a free glade impressions upto 10.99 (that is the new one that came out) also had a coupon for free plug in's when you buy a refill and in that box was coupon for 2.00 off the refill.
So long and short
5.49 BOGOF of the 2pk refills
.99 for the plug in things
2x 1.00 off refills coupon (these came in paper and expire May 9)
2x free plug in's = 3.49 plus tax plus 2 coupons for impression and 2 2.00 off coupons for later. (Will be over 30.00 of glade for 3.49)

Follow up on the Mama Mary's pizzas. At the Publix on 290/Main St in Duncan, the small pizzas in either 9 oz or 12 oz pkgs are bogo. There are 3 to a pack, individual size, regular or thin and crispy. They ring up at $1.85, so use your $1 off SS coupon and they are .85!

Publix in Columbia took the Post Trail Mix Crunch Q's for Just Bunches.
There were $2 off Contessa Meal blinkies in the freezer section, those are on sale at Kroger, I think.
And, the SC Johnson cleaning supplies coupon books were at the registers!

Alot of the 8ct Pop-tart boxes are advertising a FREE movie pass ($12.00 value) when you mail in 5 vouchers (1 voucher per box). The small print says its good for 'any other movie of your choice' not jus the new Star Trek movie coming out soon.

So that's less than $4 per movie ticket.

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this already, but there is a $1 off Fresh Express Manufacturer's coupon in a special Kroger Flier in the Atlanta paper. Add that to the $1 off Yellow Advantage Buy Coupon and it makes Fresh Express salad 50 cents a bag this week!

This Publix ad is for all areas and you get a day jump since your stores start on Thursday. Your prices might vary as all stores in the same city vary but the deals are the same.

Sometimes you'll get that message if the coupon is dead, but I just printed one. It took a while to print, but its still working. Have you been able to print coupons before?

Try this: go to control panel, printer, right click on the printer, choose properties, advanced, choose "print directly to printer" option, apply.Do this whenever you need to print those coupons, but change it back when you are done each time.

Let me know if that helps.

I am having trouble printing the Jose Ole coupons. I keep getting a message that says "Unable to print coupons, Your default printer is not supported". I have tried doing it through IE and firefox. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was told at the downtown Columbia Publix that Publix will no longer honor the Target Webcoupons. I was told by the manager that it is suppose to be that way at all of the Publixs.

Thanks Jenny! I appreciate all that you do. I'm going to try and be even more careful, I really hate that I did that. I'm sure the person who posted it might not have known either. Sometimes when these start getting around it's hard to tell. Like the pace coupon...I used mine before I came back here to find out that they were really for winners.

If you use the target coupon for the macaroni @bi-lo it will come out a whole lot cheaper. Publix has coupons for scrubbing bubbles buy 2 and get 2.00 off (there on sale bogo).

Oh No! I didn't realize the Ocean Spray coupon was a Canadian coupon! No wonder it didn't scan at my Publix. I used 6 of them a couple weeks ago when the craisins were BOGO. I saw the link for the coupon in some comments and got excited but didn't think that that was probably why you didn't include it in your posts!

I guess I'll go into my Publix and explain what happened and offer to pay the $6 back. I love my Publix so much and would hate for them to not get reimbursed for it. :-(

Jenny, Question: When someone puts a comment for a coupon that you haven't listed and it is legitimate, do you go back and include it in your original post? This way I know to only go by your post and if something is in a comment, it might not be good to go with it.

I try to be so careful about couponing and follow the rules which is why I appreciate your site so much!

I do try to include legitimate coupons and deals. Sometimes there are so many comments that I just miss some. I will not add it to the list if it is recommending using a iffy coupon like the ocean spray or using a coupon for a different size than the words on the coupon, like Pantene using the 25oz coupon for a 12 oz product.

I don't think so, but maybe someone else can chime in. I think it is basically, one manuf. coupon per item. So if you have something for free, you can't use another $ off coupon. That coupon really was for the free item and not the two you had to buy to get it.

Now, say you coupon was Buy 2 Chips, get cheese FREE. You can't use another coupon on the cheese, but you can use 2 $1 off coupons on the chips. That's how I think it is anyway and that's what I stick to.

I am still looking for that Publix mailer, a few people have mentioned it.

So, let me get this straight. If you have a buy something get something else free coupon, you can still use a coupon for the thing you are getting for free? Like my husband went shopping for me and took a coupon for buy two clorox products get wipes free. He did not use the coupon so I'm going back tomorrow to get the free wipes. Should I take my $1 off coupon with me as well?

Also, if FL is a competitor for your Publix print out the deli combo coupon, it is good until Dec. And if you play their matching game online you get a coupon for $2 off $10 of beef and $1 off a storebrand household product.

Just wanted to let you know to be on the look out for a Publix home mailer that has a $5 off $30 coupon in it. I got one today in the mail and can't wait to use it.

I am in FL. My Publix does not double coupons but, I did find out a few weeks ago that my publix will honor Taget coupons even though we do not have one within 50 miles from here.

I had a very nice cashier today. I saved 119.00 and I spent 98.00. My cashier was even showing the man behind me my savings. It was funny and I was so excited.

So, again thank you so much Jenny and all the other ladies on this site that shares all of their good bargains.

Thanks Jenny O From FLorida! Is that at Bi-Lo, Publix, CVS,.,,where? I went to Bi-Lo yesterday and found a $15 rebate from Michelob when you buy 4 of their specialty packs. It was around the neck of a bottle in a 6 pack! It's Michelob Craft a case Rebate, and expires 4-30-09, must be recieved by 5-14-09. My hubby went to Publix last weekend and bought 2 of the 4, so I'm getting the other 2 beofre hte 30th!

I know you were interested in the beer rebate last week but couldn't find the form. FYI On the beer display this week there is another rebate from Anheuser Busch for bud poducts in their Keep America Beautiful campaign. It is for $5 rebate on 12 pK,$7 on 18 pk, or $8 on 24 pk of cans only. There is no other purchase necessary. it expires 5-3...must be received by 5-18. I picked up a few extra. Will mail you one if you want.

Just having time to post my trip to Publix and I want to comment on the following:
Today is the last day for the kotex deal, so make sure to use manufactures coupons all all the items, and if your Publix is like mine, the only pads eligable for the deal run 6.99, but its a large one. I got 3 of the deals, used manufactures coupons on all, and a 5 off 25 from rite aid, and was out the door for 11.72, saving 20.02.

I also found a 2.00 off produce coupon on a bread display by the lettuce when you buy a Whole Grain Earthgrain Bread, which is on sale for 2.50 this week. So bread and 8 ears of corn was 2.50!

I was out the door for 59.64, but saved 143.15, a 71% savings, but admit that did not use the 5 off 25 from Rite Aid. When I went back to get the Kotex deal, I ran into 2 other SoutherSavers, and asked if Publix honored that coupon. She said, well of course they do! Whoo Hoo! Now I feel like I could have done better because I haven't been using that one..... I will till it expires! I can't wait to see what the penny item is, and the new flyer on Sunday!

I wish to reprot that I am really pleased with my shopping at Publix last night. I have not gone to a publix for more than 3 weeks. I am tired of the hassles. But my husband took me to another publix last night and I have a steal. I got through the check out so smoothly that I could not believe it. I paid $1.37 ooop, a saving of $58.97. Best of all, that included a ham which I am going to submit for rebate.! Now I can be an encourager instead of wahwah... all the time.

As an FYI most cashiers at Publix are really looking at the coupons and if there is an overage they won't give it to you even if you have other items. I have had this happen to me several times at both the Irmo location and downtown Columbia. Both are still taking Target and Food Lion coupons but not the Rite Aid ones. I also have not seen the SC Johnson coupon books.

Most of your coupons come from the Sunday paper. The SS 4/05 means that it was in the smart source insert on April 5th. So get a weekly paper and grab the inserts each week. This coming weeks are posted under Upcoming inserts.

Shannon - For the Kotex deal you need to have the coupon out of the Advantage Deal flyer for April - it has the LU# the cashier needs for the deal, but they might be able to enter that without the physical coupon, I'm not sure.
The deal is to buy a package of pads for around $3.50 and get another Kotex product for free. I've gotten the package of pads, and then a box of tampons for free (also worth about $3.50). If you also use a $1.00 coupon for pads and $0.75 coupon for tampons (both have been in recent circulars), you will get both products for about $1.50. Can't beat that so I have been stocking up. Even if you don't have the coupons it's still a pretty good deal, I think. We need them at my house!
