My mom spoke to an employee of the Earthfare on Devine St in Columbia, and she said this deal will not likely be offered again. She had people coming in with 15 coupons, and getting 15 pounds of shrimp free. It is too bad they didn't think to put a limit on the coupon, itself. However, this is how greed can ruin it for those that are trying to do the right thing with couponing. What a shame!

Wow! Got the free shrimp today. We don't have a Earth Fare in Middle Tennessee, but we were in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and decided to stop in Knoxville and see if we could find one. We did and actually found another store just down the road. Hubby and I are so excited about our free shrimp.

Thanks Again, Jenny for all you do. Got some great deals in Pigeon Forge and shrimp to boot. Yeh for me!

HOW DO YOU GET THE SHRIMP COUPON, IT WILL NOT PRINT WHEN I GET TO IT, HELP WE WILL BE HAVING ONE OPEN AT A LOCAL MALL. WANT THAT FREE SHRIMP THANKS

it takes a good minute for it to come up, but the link is still working...just checked it.
  • thanks for the post. I got my free shrimp last night. At the one in greenville, SC they had them prebagged at the front of the store. No purchase required. My bag was slightly over the 1lb so I had to pay .20 which I didn't mind at all.

I asked at Publics today and the mgr said no b/c they did not sell frozen shrimp in the 1lb size. Didn't hurt to ask:)
  • Michelle in Martinez
Hmmmm. I'm not seeing their logic here. They sell frozen shrimp (by the pound or whatever other amount you want to buy). The only difference is you get to scoop it into the bag yourself at Earth Fare, while the Publix employee in the seafood department does it for you. ???
  • Michelle
I asked if there was a purchase and they said none was necessary. Free shrimp! :)
  • Michelle in Martinez
I didn't see the prepackaged, but I did the scoop your own, which ended up being a little over a pound, but that was fine. When I went to check out they told me I had to buy something. The cashier said it could be anything, so I got a drink to go with it. :) If anyone has used this coupon at Publix, please let me know!

This was an awesome deal- did the pantry makeover at the same time! They were nicer to me than any store I've been in!
  • Andrea
Wow! A free pound of shrimp-and they were good sized too-plan on having shrimp cocktail, baked potato and a salad for dinner tomorrow night.
  • Megan
They made me make a purchase when I went to get the shrimp. I bought some yogurt and paid 92 cents for a pound of shrimp. I'm not complaining.

Does any one know how long the pantry makeover lasts? I have been meaning to get over there and haven't found the time.
  • Rachel
I was told that it is going to last until February. The cashier also told me that we could do it more than once. Woo-hoo! Gotta love that.

As an FYI, I received an e-mail from Earth Fare that had the coupon and a video of the promotion. In the promotion, the actor says that the 1st pound of shrimp is free with purchase. The "with purchase" phrase does not appear on the coupon anywhere, so I don't know how strict they will be with the policy, just wanted to pass it along. Even if you have to buy a very small piece of candy or one piece of fruit, it is a great deal!
  • Barbara
Will that coupon work at Publix?
  • Jenny
It should if they sell frozen cooked shrimp by the pound. And you have an Earth Fare near you :)
  • Amy B.
The shrimp were $9.99/lb originally and conveniently prepackaged in 1 lb bags in the freezer section. They were 26/30 count (not too small) They had many! Yay for free shrimp!
  • Barbara
We sure do, I'll give it a try and let you know. THANKS SO MUCH!!
