This was a great deal. I got Good Housekeeping for 4.22 including tax. Thanks for the heads up and also the tip about later turning off the auto renewal!

So, I've just earned enough Swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon gift card. I was hoping to use that to get the Popular Mechanics for Free for my husband. But it looks as if they actually mail the gift card to your home, so I guess I can't do that. But it was a great idea!
  • They actually will give you a gift card in your swagbucks account but they only load them in there on the 16th and 30th of the month. So you may get it tomorrow or at the end of the month.

Code isn't working for me. I chose 1 year instead of 1 year renewal for the two I wanted so I don't know if this offer is only for those who already get the magazine and just need a renewal. This is the message I get "Important Messages
We're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions."
I wanted Good Housekeeping and Disney Family Fun. Oh well.

Your code will work if you select one-year automatic renewal. If you select this, you can go back in sometime in the days after your order transitions from "pending" to "confirmed" and turn off the auto-renewals. That's what I did with my subscriptions.

I LOVE the magazine deals. It is nice to get a whole subscription for the cost of one magazine on the stand. I've been waiting for Disney to go on sale.

Okay, before I go mess this one up--I already receive Good Housekeeping--started in Nov. or Dec. Can I use this deal to extend this magazine beyond the one year I've already paid for? (Adding a year on top of the subscription that will end late 2010?) Thanks!

What a great deal! Just got 3 one-year subscriptions for about $13!
