Starting tomorrow 4/4 K-Mart will be doubling any coupon that is $2 or less.   I walked my store last night to get prices and deals so you might find slightly different prices in your area.  shoppinglist1

There are a few rules:

  1. You need a “Shop You Way Rewards Card” (get a Temporary one now)
  2. Coupons $2 or less will be doubled.
  3. Limit of 5 coupons doubled per customer per day.

Now, this list is long but don’t let that fool you into thinking this is going to be a blast. Remember you need to pick 5 things you want per visit. Also remember that nothing at Kmart is easy. Be ready for one register to be open to serve every one, and to have problems with coupons doubling. Go in ready for anything and it will be a much more enjoyable day.

    I have had a great week at K-Mart in Waynesville, NC. Just wish they would restock before the week is over. Tried the K-Mart over by Biltmore Square Mall and it was horrible! Apparently rules vary from store to store? First thing when I presented my coupons, the cashier runs to customer service to get the print out of rules for me to read. Computer would not double, cashier kept coming up with different reasons why, all the while the line backing up. Then he rudely tells everyone behind me something along the lines of-It's gonna be a while folks, it's gonna be a while. I'm sorry, but this customer has the line held up! Needless to say, I left my purchases sitting and came back to Waynesville to shop.

    I shop at the Biltmore Square Kmart. Went 4 times this week. The first 3 were PERFECT. But today's was a different story. My mom and grandmother were there shopping too, and had problems. Come to find out, the computers are doing CRAZY things and it isn't the cashiers. I watched my cashier carefully scan every coupon AND they showed up on the screen... however they were not on the receipt and were not in the total. I talked to the cashier and customer service. That's when I found out they were totally stumped by what was going on. It was on different kinds of coupons (internet AND newspaper coupons.) The manager finally gave us gift cards to fix it once they realized that it wasn't a policy issue but a computer issue. (One customer service lady did try to tell me that they do not double anything that will be more than $2 off total. I asked to see the policy in writing and she saw her mistake.) I kindly asked for the manager. Sorry your experience was not as friendly. :-(
  • I LOVE K-Mart super doubles!! I don't usually shop at K-Mart, but it's been so easy this week and everyone has been so kind (and a little shocked at all the great deals I got). Here is what I got for $5.22 out of pocket:

    KMART is CRAZY!!!! They will not take a manufacter Q if it is printed out at Krogers even though it is manufacter! Next, It is fine for them not to give you a Overage but, atleast they could not be rude when the item comes up FREE! I mean why do you come up with a event Doubles up to $2.00 and turn around and act mean about it!!!! KMART is SO NOT WORTH THE HASSEL!!! I did get some free items the 1st time, Then when I went back it was a total MESS!!!!

    I am so mad–just came back from my Kmart. No problem using internet-printed coupons YESTERDAY. And today, i was told the store manager said they aren’t allowing them as of yesterday. Well, no signs were posted, etc. My friend in the NEXT LINE OVER was able to use hers with no problem! I went to the customer service desk and was told they only allow the SmartScan coupons from the internet. Well, i corrected her and said it’s SMARTSOURCE. She was extremely rude. I went home and looked up the kmart customer service number and come to find out the coupons i was attempting to use is on the KMART WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!! I sent them a nice, long email telling them this is such a contradiction!

    Had the EXACT same problem. Sunday ip q's worked fine, Monday not accepting. Tuesday used Sunday insert ones fine, today they weren't going to accept them because some of the items would be free. Their system automatically reduced the doubling amount so there wouldn't be any overage but the manager was not even going to allow me to use it because she said she would lose money. When I asked her where in the ad it states the coupon had to be for LESS than the cost she huffed off and said, "Fine, take them this time but I am calling corporate to put a stop to this mess". I guess she never took the class on customer service!

    Making all of this a grand total of .60 which was pretty much only tax. I did ring up the dogfood in a seperate transaction which = .18 and the rest of the things in one transaction = .48!!

    I went to the K-Mart today in Tullahoma, TN. They had febreze air effects on sale 2/$5. I had 2 $1 q's... which both doubled... I only paid $0.50 each for the air effects spray. You do not have to purchase 2 to get the sale price!! :)

    Kmart in Calhoun, Ga is not doubling even though they advertise they are. You will only get it doubled up to the amount to make it free. You will not get credited overage amount towards anything else you buy...therefore they are not truly doubling your coupon. Just FYI! Frustrated!! :(

    I will tell you how ridiculous it is...I drove 20 miles to get this deal. I went through the time time to figure my overage and get fill in items. I get to the register and ended up have to have them void off my items that were fill ins, which was an act of congress. It took about ten minutes with my line backed up, which was the only line open. I am thankful for anything I get free, but Kmart seems to change the rules as they go. Today I went in and had my 5 items and my coupons ready to go...I get to the register and I was informed that they will only double up to $1.99 not $2.00 (Their ad says up to $2.00). I was in a hurry and once more had to have them void my transactions, another 10 minutes process, so I didn't wait to talk to the manager. Instead, I called when I got home and they said they were only doubling up to $1.00. I told them I thought they were doubling up to $2.00 like the ad states and I was told oh yeah it does say that. So I said I will get to double up to $2.00 is that right and she said that is what the ad says. So I wrote down her name to take with me tomorrow. I am an honest person and I thought you should know the whole story before you rush to judge me.

    Has anyone used their Sears Rewards card instead? Does it work with this promotion. The last time I was in Kmart the cashier asked for my rewards card. I asked if my Sears card would work and she said she did not know. She scanned it and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that it did work at the time. On the web site where you sign up for a temporary card, it won't let me sign up because I already have a Sears card and the fine print says it works at any of the 3 stores owned by Sears. Just wondering if anyone had actually tried it before I get frustrated by having to fill out another form for yet another keychain tag!!

    It looks like almost everything is YMMV on this. My KMart (Morristown, TN) would only double 5 coupons like the promo states, where others were doubling 10. I did use more than 5 coupons in a single transaction just to buy an item that wasn't sold in other local stores; others have stated they had to use separate transactions to use more than 5 coupons even if they were not doubled. I used coupons on item that were on sale, and they were doubled - other shoppers were told no doubles on sale items. I went in with the "whatever can go wrong will go wrong" attitude both yesterday and today. Aside from the store not carrying some items I wanted to buy, or being sold out, I really haven't had problems this time. I did double-check that items were scanning correctly and that coupons were doubling before I completed check-out. I have been there the past 2 days, and may even go back again if I can get some more good deals. I wish they took/doubled the internet printables!

    beware, while this coupon match list is nice, it's not entirely accurate. The Endust coupon is in the March All you not the April. Also I did not find ANY of the March 28 or February 28 coupons for RP or SS. I think I gave myself a headache looking multiple times.

    I just left Kmart and thought my total was high too. I counted the number of coupons on the receipt, and it didn't add up to the amount of coupons I handed over. I watched the girl run the coupons over the scanner and she did all of them, but some did not scan! After I checked out (lots of people behind me) I stood over to the side and figured it up and went over to customer service to get refunded. It was a pain in the neck getting it to refund correctly on the register and they said they were going to have issues cashing out tonight. It took 20 min for them to figure out how to do it in the register and I'm not sure it was worth the aggravation!

    My suggestion is - no matter how many people are behind you, make sure all your coupons scanned and doubled BEFORE you check out. It'll save you 20 min and a headache.

    Discovered today that the missing coupons are a computer glitch. Did the same on my order, my mom's and my grandmother's order today. I know the coupons scanned and doubled... but then disappeared when totalled. They said they had no idea what was going on, but made it right for me at the comstomer service desk after a long wait. This glitch is HARD to catch unless you know EXACTLY what the total should be. :-(

    St.Pete and Clearwater FL stores are participating. I was a little hesitant, but I went yesterday to St.Pete and today to Clearwater with no problems. They took my printed coupons. The registers wouldn't give overage for any doubles, but automatically adjusted to give the item for free. Hall's were $1.99 and it gave me $1.99 not $2. I'll definately go back the rest of the week.

    I went to the KMart in Cary, NC yesterday and they were very nice about doubling the coupons. They let me use two different cards as well. They were out of a few things, so go prepared with back up coupons.

    I went to the K-Mart in Waynesville, NC last night, (on Russ Ave.) Got some awesome deals. First, I learned you HAVE to scan the K-Mart card before any of your transaction begins to get the double. One coupon didn't double, but I asked them to try again, and got it. the manager said I could have all the transactions I wanted too. I got 70.69 total in 4 transactions, and only paid 6.22 total. Wow! I needed a couple things that didn't turn out completely free. For free I got Gillette Body wash, tampax Pearl, Bic disposable razors, and Oral-B toothbrushes. There was a bit of tax on each order of only .80, no complaints here. Thanks Bunches to Southern Savers or I would have missed this for sure!

    Well at my Kmart last nite, I found out at the register that cpupons that say will not double, won't AND you can only use 5 DIFFERENT Q's, ex: can't use 5 purina Q's in same trans....crazy huh?

    the crunch and clean for dogs doesnt work at the kmart in Hixson. If you read the fine print it says DO NOT DOUBLE and it wont.

    I just used 4 crunch and clean coupons and didn't have any trouble with any of them. In fact, after my transaction the catalina spit out a $2 of milk-bone coupon so now when I go back tomorrow I can get free milk-bone treats. I will be well stocked with dog treats! Just because it says DO NOT DOUBLE doesn't mean it won't. If the coupon # starts with a 5 it will double.

    I went to the K-Mart in Florence, SC today, and they are indeed participating :). They will double up to 5 coupons with the card (which you can sign up for in the store, I recommend just signing up for it there, it's very simple).

    They will double printed coupons and didn't give me any trouble. One of my coupons didn't scan and the cashier just manually entered it.

    Here's what I got... I used my card and my roommate's card which she loaned me so it was two trips through the register:

    2 2-packs Reach tootbrushes ($3.06 each, $1.06 each after coupon)
    2 Dove Deoderants ($3.79- free after coupons)
    1 Tampax Pearl ($4.49- $.49 after coupons)
    1 Crest mouthwash (big huge bottle on clearance for $5.62- was $1.62 after coupon)
    1 Crunch and Clean cat treats ($1.99- free after coupons)
    1 10-pack BIC razors ($5.35- $1.35 after coupon)
    1 Soft Scrub ($2.99- Free after coupon)
    1 Gillete Body wash for men ($4.35- 35 cent after coupon)

    Grand total after taxes was $6.65. Pretty awesome for K-Mart I intend to go several more times this week.

    Has anyone heard about this: Receive a FREE $10 Prepaid Mastercard when you purchase $25 of P&G products in 1 transaction at Kmart.     Do you have the address??? I bought over $25 worth of products (razors), and the lady said it didn't print off the rebate because I had not purchased $25 after coupons? I would LOVE to do the rebate if you still have the address/information?

    So here is what I bought at Kmart today to qualify for the P&G rebate (it is a paper rebate that does not print out--find it on the isles or at customer service).

    4 Gillette Razors (on sale for 2/$11 or $5.50 each)
    1 Venus Spa Breeze (on sale for 2/$11 or $5.50 each)
    this totaled $27.50 and qualified me for the rebate
    2 snickers bars (I won one yesterday for using my Kmart Rewards Card)
    So my total before tax was $28.80

    I used 2 B1G1 Gillette razor coupons from the 4/4 P&G insert
    I used 2 $2 off Gillette razor coupons from a previous P&G insert
    I used 1 $2 off Venus Spa Breeze from a previous P&G insert
    So the coupons took of $5.50, $5.50, $4, $4, $4, $0.65
    Which brought my total down to $5.15
    Then I used the $5 catalina I earned yesterday for buying 5 dove deodorants.

    This made my total $0.15 plus tax and I will send in for my $10 rebate card.

    If you have these coupons but not the $5 catalina your out of pocket (minus the snickers bars :+)) would be less than $5.

    the rebates form printed out after your purchase? mine didn't!!! i asked the manager, she said it should be $25 before tax and after coupons!!!! i called KMart customer service, they told me the same thing !!!! is it that true? anyone can answer my question?

    Had to call the K-mart customer service 1-800 number to find out that there is a paper rebate form in the store.....arrrrgh

    I just called the customer service number for the rebate (which is different than what is on the rebate form - 888# instead of 866#). I spoke to Courtney, and she said the purchase amount that counts toward the $25 is before tax and before coupons are deducted. So...if you buy an item that costs $5 and you have a $2 in coupons to use against it, you get credit for $5.

  • I just got back from Kmart and I think my total was a little high. I thought I had it figured out before I went but something went wrong somewhere. I think I do better at drugstores on the sundry items. My total was $30.29 and I paid $17.92 oop. All I got was:
    3 2liter cokes
    2 dial for men body wash
    1 nivea body wash
    1 toothbrush
    1 aussie shampoo
    3 curtain rod brackets
    1 dawn hand renewal
    1 bag of sugar

    They better watch out tomorrow...I am coming back with a vengeance so I have a lot of work figuring ahead of me tonight...lol.

    The Kmart in Mauldin is having issues with their computers doubling the coupons. It took me over 30 minutes to check out, and that was after I waited in line! I gave them the 5 coupons that I wanted doubled and then gave them a few more, just to take off the regular amount. Evidently, if you want to use regular coupons, after you've doubled your 5, you have to do it on a separate order. They had to void my entire order 3 times. Everyone using coupons was having the same issues...it was a mess.

    I just left Kmart in Mauldin and thought my total was high too. I counted the number of coupons on the receipt, and it didn't add up to the amount of coupons I handed over. I watched the girl run the coupons over the scanner and she did all of them, but some did not scan! After I checked out (lots of people behind me) I stood over to the side and figured it up and went over to customer service to get refunded. It was a pain in the neck getting it to refund correctly on the register and they said they were going to have issues cashing out tonight. They were very frustrated and it took 20 min for them to figure out how to do it in the register and I'm not sure it was worth the aggravation!

    My suggestion is - no matter how many people are behind you, make sure all your coupons scanned and doubled BEFORE you check out. It'll save you 20 min and a headache.

    I was there yesterday and I bought 7 items, used 5 "doubled" coupons and 2 BOGO coupons. I actually saw the guy putting in my BOGO coupons, but my total seemed high. When I left I looked at my receipt and found out that one of the BOGO coupons did not show up at all. That means I paid over $3 for a toothbrush!!!!! I'm going back today to either get my money back or to return the toothbrush. I will not pay that much for a toothbrush! Since I obviously don't have the coupon anymore to show them, I hope they will believe me. It's there somewhere because I saw him put it in his drawer. Oh well. Back to Kmart I go!

    I had a similar problem last night at the Mauldin Kmart...I'm still not sure if everything added up correctly..I asked two employees who said it was right, but I'm still questioning whether it was...The receipt made not sense at all

    Count how many items you had, and how many "scanned" coupons are on the receipt. Those numbers should obviously be the same. The coupons double to the price of the item, but not to allow overage. If you add "scanned coupon" price to "multiplied coupon" price, you should get the price of the item (if your item was going to be free after coupon). Then by process of elimination you should be able to check off all of your items. That's how I figured out one of my coupon didn't scan at all.

    I've been to the one in Mauldin each day since it's started and have had a good experience each time. I've used 5 coupons each day and spent under $1 each time.

    i went to k-mart today and it is a good deal, but they will not take any coupons printed off the computer, so i was only able to get one item, but i did save 4.00.

    Went to KMART, Covington, Ga. At register, manager said they would not double coupons on any sale items or any that were printed off computer. None of those stipulations were mentioned via telephone, other than would double only 5 per day. Don't waste your time.

    Had a great experience at Kmart super doubles....1st time....got All Detergent free...dove ultimate deodorant free....pearl tampons for 59 cents....2 packs dentyne gum free...and loreal eyeshadow for 59 cents...and a free bottle of vitamin water. Does anyone know how often Kmart does super double coupons??

    Thanks Jenny for sharing this! This was my first time shopping super doubles at Kmart and I was a little anxious about it. It turned out to be a great experience! I went in with about 15 coupons, so that I would have a little flexibility. The Kmart I went to today (Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville, SC) has a strange set up. Laundry items were on 2 or 3 different aisles, but I was able to find the FREE All! Today I got 2 All, a Soft Scrub spray, Tampax Compak 20 count, and 2 packs of Dentyne and my total was $1.08! The cashier was really excited about it and said "Now remember, this lasts all week long!" Can't wait to try it again!

    I went today. I seriously hate Kmart. I don't think its worth a trip back. The prices in Vero Beach are high, it doesn't make the double coupons even worth the hassle.

    I went today to the store in Cleveland, TN and the manager and I had a long discussion about the coupons and why it did and didnt double some of them. She said if doubling the coupon is more than the price of the item it will not double it. Basically they dont want you getting anything for free or money back.

    The Kmart in Riverside, Ca. had none of the free items. Our prices are way different for the Nivea body wash it was 5.79 and was not on sale. So, I scored the Gillette body wash and the carpet fresh for a total of 0.31 cents. Not bad but I had my list all made out. Bummer!

    The Lexington, SC store was GREAT today! There were 3 of us there this afternoon trying to do all of this. The employees were great trying to help us and were cheering us on as we rang up our totals. However, the one disappointment that I did have was they did not have a lot of the products I was looking for or the prices were raised so it just wasn't that good of a deal. I was able to get Dove ultimate deoderant free though! (along with a few others). Good Luck!

    Glad you had a good experience there. I had hoped to use 5 coupons for doubling then use 2 others at face value to apply towards my P&G rebate. They would only take the 5 coupons and since there was only one register open and a long line I didn't say anything. I will be taking back the 2 items tomorrow and rebuying them with the coupons! They say they will only take 5 coupons per purchasel! Crazy!

    I went to Kmart in Florence today and had a great experience!! Cashier was friendly and took the time to "make" all my coupons work. 5 doubled and then I used 2 BOGO and a 5/50 dollar coupon too! I got:
    2 Febreeze Dusting/Polish spray
    1 Febreeze air effects spray
    2 Mach 3 disposable razor 3 pks
    1 Venus disposable 3 pack
    1 20 lb bag of Pedigree Dog food
    4 6 packs of Gatorade all-star (no coupon but great deal 4 for $11.00 and my boys need them for baseball!)
    Grand total before Kmart sale price and coupons: $62.39 and I paid 20.73!

    I am going back again tomorrow!!!

    At my walmart, it is kept in the personal care section of the store, at the end of the isle. May be close to the make up. And YES it has some awesome coupons.....lots of them. Much worth a subscription.

    I just spoke to customer service at the Salisbury, NC store and she was very nice, but a bit confused, "We are participating, we just don't know what items will be included, yet." I asked if anyone was able to use their coupons today and she said she wasn't sure, but they will know more tomorrow....
    I think I'll go in the morning just for the entertainment value!
