Is your store's BOGO where it's half off or truly BOGO free? If it's truly BOGO free then they are both free. Otherwise you get two for the price of one (that is already half off from the BOGO sale). Jenny always explains things better!

My store does 1/2 off which would be 1.25 per box if you get two and use the B1G1 Q right? Then if I can find the $1 off 2 boxes MQ Jenny talks about wouldn’t that make it $.75 a box? Am I doing the math right? It says $2 a box but I figured it to be $.75 if you have both Q’s.

If you live in a true BOGO area where the 1st product rings up full price & the 2nd rings up free, then using a BOGO coupon would make both products free. If you live in 1/2 price BOGO area, then you could buy 4 boxes & use (2) BOGO coupons & (1) -$1/2 mfr coupon. (you would pay $2.89 or $.72/ea)

Do you have true BOGO or does your Publix cut the price in 1/2 for BOGO? If it's true BOGO (like in Florida where I am) then the coupon covers the cost of the cereal. If your Publix breaks the price in 1/2, then you would pay the 1/2 price and get 2 boxes. Hope that helps.

It means that there are no more prints. I haven't printed them either and it would not let me. I think some of the coupons have a limited amount of prints and once they are gone they post the message that you have already printed the coupon the limited amount of times. Aggravating!! I'm just not quick enough!!

When that happens it usually means they are completely out of prints. Companies release a certain # and when they are gone sometimes that message is displayed.

Publix doesn't have a reward card but you can get a Upromise card from the Customer service counter then you register that card online.

You register your credit card online with Upromise. Then, when you use your credit card to buy the items, it will reward your account.

Ask at Publix customer service desk. I got a Publix Upromise keytag. It is not a rewards card – just valid for Upromise savings. You register the number online (link it to your Upromise account). It posts my savings in my Upromise account much faster than the purchases made on my credit card.

I was at my Publix at 9:40 tonight, and in the (unlabeled) one cent coupon bin were Publix brand fruit punch. I'm assuming that's what will be for tomorrow. Depends on the store and sometimes how close they are to a Target if they consider them a competitor. It's a good idea to check with customer service first. I have a store near my house that takes them, but one only a mile or two down the road won't….

Today I went to my regular Lexington, SC. Publix with a Target coupon and thought I might try to use it and see what happened since it was a new year. Last year they said they would no longer take Target coupons of ANY type. No pharmacy either, just “regular” grocery stores within our area. Well today she checked and came back and told me that they take Target but not if it says “Target Web Coupon”. So for example the link Jenny has for the Oscar Mayer Basic Lunchables, 3.3-4.5 oz., $1 Manufacturer Coupon -$1/2 off Oscar Mayer Lunchables product (Target Coupon) and you click on the link, that one she would not take. Odd how it keeps changing.

In our Atlanta area, most all Publix I go to honor Target, Kroger & some do Whole Foods as well.

My Publix will take them (Houze Rd in Alpharetta, GA). The cashier told me they also take Kroger, CVS , Wags & Rite Aid. I have never tried using the drugstore ones but I use the Target Q's all the time. I guess it depends on how far away the competition is?

Yes, I was recently told this also at my store in McDonough, GA (Atlanta area). In the past they have accepted a manufacturer's coupon along with a Publix store coupon and a competitor coupon, but now they will only take any combination of two of the three coupons for any one item.

I’m in McDonough too but way out on the east side so it’s closer for me to go to the Publix in Conyers which I’m told is very coupon-friendly (I just started this week and had no problems on my first trip). Some in Covington said the Publix there limits to 6 of the same coupon (or something like that) so they goes to the one in Conyers instead.

Not to be a pain but I'm actually kinda glad about this! Because those of us that only would normally get two items anyway,get there a wee bit late and the shelves are cleared! In my area if it's a really,really good sale I can expect it to be gone! :( And I know that my local flea market has ALOT of things that I recognize from those sales and I couldn't even get two of them from the supermarket for myself.Two is a good limit I'd say.

I do not have a problem with there being a limit, but I believe that 2 deals is too low. I drive almost 50 miles to shop Publix and stock up. I’m afraid that I would not be able to make that trip every week if I can not justify the time, gas, and car mileage.

I do think there should be a limit, but it should be a little higher than 2. The store I frequent has had a limit in place for a while now. I simply put a couple of the plastic shopping baskets in my cart & seperate the items out, along w/ the appropriate coupons, for those things I am purchasing above the limit. When I checkout, I do multiple transactions if necessary; however, the managers & clerks know that I drive 140 miles round trip to shop at this particular store & usually don’t make me do multiple transaction. I always seperate my stuff as I load my cart though just in case I happen upon a clerk who doesn’t know me. I am not opposed to limits by any means, but if I want to buy 6 of something that’s on sale after I drive this far to shop, well, I am going to get it!

Some stores I’ve been to have said a limit of two deals per bogo items (four total items) but usually they just limit the raincheck; I’ve never had them not allow me to buy more but I usually just buy four anyway.

No need to panic, but Publix is going to revamp their coupon policy company wide. Soon. Not sure what the new one will be, but they were getting hit really hard with huge amounts of competitor coupons and are starting to feel it. People using things like PetSmart and Pet Supermarket coupons because they sell pet food. Also lots of CVS and WAGS coupons (not to mention extra care and rewards bucks). The original policy was GROCERY store competitors. Just a heads up. We will still probably be able to get great deals, just not as many with competitor coupons. No eta on the new policy.

My Publix has never allowed any “competitor” coupons except for actual competitor grocery stores (and the grocery stores have to be a competitor in this area).

My store in Cumming had a sign on their registers (starting Jan 1)…only accepting coupons from Kroger, target, Cvs and one other (maybe Wags). Good for them. I think people were taking advantage of the poor store. Hope they stick to their guns and all you grumpy coupon ladies…be nice! :)

Stores in our area have done away with non-grocery competitors last year I think. They only take specific grocery store coupons w/in 50 or so miles of their store. The policy is still better than any other store around!

I know Publix will accept coupons that are a few days expired if you ask nicely : ) … Bi Lo has accepted expired coupons before … Blooms doesn't in my experience … Publix in Spartenburg does not …. hope this helps

Expired manu coupons – SOME stores will take them if they are w/in the week and it’s later in the week – like if it expired Monday you could use it all the way to the weekend. But depends on the store and who is working and who you know!! :) They will usually take their own coupons expired IF you have a raincheck attached to it.
Oh, and I usually go to the Publix at the Parkway and sometimes Taylors, Five Forks, and Woodruff Rd.

Other stores coupons are always as a store coupon, unless it says “Manufacturer's Coupon” on the the coupon. I printed some from Target the other day, and the q's that say Target Coupon – Publix rang in as a store coupon. The ones that are Manufacturer's Coupons just rang in like regular coupons.

They go in as competitor's coupons, basically same thing as a store coupon. At my store you can combine these with a manufacturer's coupon.

Usually they treat a competitor's coupon as if it is a Publix store coupon, meaning you can even stack them with a manufacturer's for a better deal. But remember that it is up to each Publix store to accept whether such and such store is actually a competitor for them (usually this is to do with distance between stores).

It is in an extra cardboard insert that are usually in the Wal-Mart issues, not in the home subscription issues. I heard awhile back that you can call All You and ask or them to include the extra coupons that come in the store issues in your home subscription. I did this and it worked. I have the Peter Pan coupon in my Jan home subscription issue. The coupon isn't listed in the coupon index at the front of the magazine so this is what clued me in that they had indeed sent me an issue with the extra coupons like I had requested. Tip – when you call, you might have to talk to a 'specialist' and not just the first person who answers.

I use a mac and as long as I use Safari to access the coupon sites they print fine. Many of them will not work if you use Firefox as your web browser. Hope this helps!

Has anyone else had a hard time getting the Welch's coupon from facebook? On Sat. I followed the instructions on their fb and when it took me to Red Plum it said that the coupon wasn't available anymore. So I posted on Welch's fb that I was not happy about that. The next day they replied & said they were having problems with that promotion so I should email them at a certain address and they would send me a coupon “immediately”. So I emailed them…didn't hear back. Emailed them from a different address the next day…nothing. So I went back to fb and asked why I hadn't heard from them. Finally today they email me and say sorry about all the trouble send us your snail mail and we'll mail you a coupon and a sample. While I'm grateful for them trying to make things right, I'm bummed b/c I REALLY wanted to get a printable to use with the Yellow Adv Buy sale.

When you make a donation at the register to Special Olympics they give you the a sheet with about 8 coupons – Bounty, Charmin, Duracell batteries, Prevacid, Cascade, and a couple of others. I actually donated $5 and they gave me two sheets. Actually, I was tearing off one of the coupons and I noticed she had given me two and they said to just keep it since I donated $5.

When Publix has their bogo sale all that means is that the product is half price, exept in Florida. So, if you are buying a Special k b1g1 for 3.99, it means you are getting 2 for 1.99 each. If you add the bogo coupon you will pay 1.99 for both. If you are buying 4, you will pay 3,99 for all of them. If you add the 1/2 manufactor coupon on top of that you will pay 2,99 total and that will be 0,75 for each box of cereal!

Hi Rose — I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and I am having the same issue. After much research on the internet and phone calls with Canon (my printer mfr), I finally called coupons dot com and left a voice mail about this issue. I rec'd a voice mail back from Rich.

According to Rich, coupons dot com bypasses our computers' printer settings. If your computer uses an older operating system, you could get around this and control how things print. However, it appears that with the newer operating systems (including Windows 7), that loophole is gone and coupons dot com dictates how things are sent to your printer (i.e., in color).

According to Rich, some people have been able to get around this by removing the color cartridge (my printer wouldn't print in that case), by repacing the color cartridge with a black and white one (my color and b&w cartridges are different shapes), or by resorting to a b&w only printer.

I know this was not the answer you were looking for, but it's what I've learned so far. I would love to know if anyone else has any suggestions.

It doesn't matter…Many coupons say do not combine and most say do not double. However it is Publix and Kroger corporate policy to combine any manufacturer coupons with store coupons (This includes your Publix's competitor coupons like Kroger, Target, etc…). Also, its policy to double any coupons that are 50 cents or less. Kroger will only double up to the value of the item so you can't make profit.

So don't worry about using two they won't care…And if they give you any fuss you can refer to this corporate policy and ask to speak to someone in customer service. Some tellers are not informed or just forget about this particular policies

I encountered the coupon police at my publix today. I tried to use the b1b1 special k cereal (in florida) and some customer service guy tried to tell me i had to buy 3 boxes because i actually have to pay for a box to use the coupon. I knew he was wrong and clearly doesn't understand the coupon policy. I stood at the register for 5 minutes trying to tell him the coupon policy. I think he felt superior and more knowledgeable than me because I clearly look young (im 21) and he probably assumed he knows everything. He didn't budge and didn't even try to understand. I was relentless but was not mean, did not yell, and was not angry. He had written the price of the cereal on the coupon so i could no longer take it back and use it at another store because i would then be accused of coupon fraud. At this point he gave in and said he would accept the coupon. i checked out, drove home and looked at my receipt and he never took off the amount of the coupon. at this point i no longer cared about the $4, i was mad that he was disrespectful and deceitful. So, I drove back to the store and went to customer service and explained my problem. They immediately knew who i was and gave me back $4. All this said, do not feel like your stealing and don't let anyone make you feel inferior for using coupons.

Sooooooo happy to see Boca products on sale this week! I'm vegetarian but the rest of my family eats meat. I use those Boca crumbles as a ground beef substitute for tacos, chili, Hamburger Helper, & even meatloaf. My family loves it and we can all eat the same thing, and it's healthier too! Yay! No. You use one manufacturer's coupon for however many items are listed on the coupon. I assume that you are talking about the $1 off 5 Totino's Pizzas. You could use one coupon for each set of 5 pizzas that you buy.

The B1G1 Special K coupons state that the “free” box must be Special K Original. Is that just plain? Does it have to be original? My kids really like the chocolate and the strawberry:-)

Any ideas for $ off total? I used to use one or two $5/25 Rite Aid coupon every week, but they are not putting them out anymore. This makes my grocery budget $5-10 more a week! I usually get CVS emails every week for like 5/30 or 4/20. I use those at Publix. Also, I print extra copies of the 4/20 rite aid Q to help out (in case I don't get a CVS email.)

Try signing up for Winn Dixie's Baby Club and ALWAYS check your junk mail. The Entertainment books usually have 5 $5 off $25 purchase for Save-A-Lot. This week alone I received a $5/30purchase from Winn Dixie's Baby Club, a $10/40 SweetBay in my junk mail and a $5/50 Publix on the front page of their BOBO ad (not normal ad) which comes in the junk mail. Yes, All You is a Wal-Mart publication. It can only be found at WalMart, or by subscription, and the subscriptions do not get the coupon inserts.

Actually, All You is published by Time, Inc. They chose to market it only at Wal Mart because they were targeting the average-income women who shopped there, and because Wal mart's magazine sales accounted for a large percentage of the magazine market. (1) I have a small coupon booklet from inside a box of Kellogg's cereal a while back. It says, “$5 in Breakfast Savings Pack 3 of 3!” on it, and it has a $1/2 Kellogg's special K 10 oz or largers, any flavor, mix and match manuf cpn, exp 03-21-11

I found all the coupons on a seperate Tearpads at the front of the store on a huge Frito Lay and Pepsi product display. there was a mistake when reading the $10 off of a $15 purchase; it also includes WYB a party platter from Publix. When I tried it a second time the cashier pointed it out to me. Neither the cashier or I caught it the first transaction.

I am new to couponing and I am wondering why I couldn't find some of the items that were supposed to be in Smartsource. For example I was looking for the peter pan peanut butter coupon, and I couldn't find it there. Am I doint it wrong? Also where do I get the manufacturer's coupons?

You likely couldn't find it because it was regional. Not all areas get all coupons.

Some areas send out more coupons than others. For example, I am in the Nashville area, and I get a lot of great coupons that my friend in Chattanooga doesn't. I get my manufacturer coupons from the Sunday paper, at-home mailers, inside magazine, etc.

Also, Jenny posts a regional coupon post each Wednesday so if your paper is in there you can scan it to see which coupons are missing.

Great Gatorade Deal at Publix. In this Sunday's paper there is a Publix Coupon for a Free Gatorade Prime or Gatorade Recover. There is another coupon for a 32 oz Gatorade or G2 when you buy a Gatorade Prime or Recover. Also, there is the free reusable bag for $10 of Pepsi (gatorade is a pepsi product)!

Usually warehouse stores don't have sales, and honestly, I've been price shopping with coupons & found that most things I can get cheaper with coupons at drug or grocery stores than at Sam's. Especially toiletries since I get almost all of those basically free at drug stores. Food can be iffy, but it also depends on what you buy. We've found Sam's does save us money on organic produce when we can find it there, but most other things are honestly not cheaper at the warehouse. We used to go to Sam's every week (we only live 3 miles away) and now only go once a month or so. And we save sooooo much $ now.

If there's another Publix nearby, you might try shopping there. I drive past one that doesn't accept competitors coupons, to another one, a couple of miles away. That further store is surrounded by Kroger, Target, and all three drugstore chains. They accept all store coupons, so it's worth it for me to drive a longer distance.

I feel the need to vent to all coupons. I am a couponer myself but consider myself to be considerate of others unlike the majority who shop my Publix in McCalla. Just because you have a dozen coupons for one item doesn't mean you should use them all at the same store or even at the same time. I'm so sick and tired of going to get enough for my family only to discover there is none to get because some greedy person has wiped them out. Please, please be considerate of others when couponing.

I understand completely. Unfortunately what has created a new phenomenon is the TLC show (as I'm sure you have heard). On one site alone there were over 50 new members by noon the day after the show aired. (me being one of them). In that short time and in my small town, I have discovered that this show could've combined itself with 'hoarders” as there are several people doing so. So for those out there who pray for abundance, please don't leave the well dry. We appreciate your considerate cooperation. God Bless us all.

I can understand your frustration, but I have 6 people in my family (me, my wife, and 4 boys {two of which are teenagers}), so when we find a deal on snacks, breakfast items, etc we stock up. We go through 4 gallons of milk a week and typically no less than 4 boxes of cereal a week. So I ask that you sympathize with larger families especially when you see me by 12 boxes of cereal at 1.50 or less to feed my boys.

there was a lady in front of me at my publix in calera trying to buy like 20 jars of peter pan peanut butter. they told her she could only have 6 of a specific deal and she got REALLY mad and said that all her friends on facebook said that they got 30 jars with no problem. she also tried this with the martha white mixes. what on earth would a person do with that much peanut butter?!?!!! i had to wait in the line for like 20 minutes while she made a huge scene. i just needed to get the basics for the snow storm and wanted to go home!!

Obviously you are one of these people we are talking about that who are taking advantage of the system and ruining it for the rest of us. Rainchecks are fine and well as long as you coupons are still good when they finally restock. Buying 30 jars of peanut butter at one time is beyond excessive and frankly is bordering on needing therapy. You frankly should refrain from making comments if you can't provide helpful comments on this site and calling someone names is by far being helpful. It is just plain rude and uncalled for.

I got the inserts in AJC today (Sat.) and a lot of the products are on sale at Publix this week is it possible that the Publix and the coupon's are out of sync ? It would have made more sense to publish these coupons last week and co-ordinate sale for this week, or was it just a freak thing that so many of the coupons were for the same items?

When taking advantage of the duracell in store coupon deal check the packages of batteries. I found some have coupons inside of them and there are some that can double with the Children's Miracle Network coupons available at the register. Great Find!!!

I have some Duracell coupons that are for the Target store that were in one of the December inserts. I cut mine, so I am not sure which one. If your Publix still takes Target Qs this may be a sweet deal also.

The ones that do not say printable are manufacturer's coupons that are located elsewhere. For instance:
-.55/2 Martha White baking mix, RP 11/07 means that coupon was in the Red Plum insert of the 11/07 newspaper.

Lately a lot of our stores in my town are seeing a lot of fellow coupon folks. If you happen to go into Publix and they are out of a particular sale item I have no problem asking for a rain check. The managers at my store are more than happy to give them out. I just wait it out until the next truck comes. I have lately had to do this at the drug stores as well. I understand what it is like to have a bunch of teenagers, as I used to have my 3 nephews and my son. Holy Moly, could they inhale some juice, snacks, and cereal. LOL!!!!!

I saved $30 last week at Kroger with my coupons, my husband let me use that $30 for a delux french manicure! I mean if you think about it the $ we save is due to our work so we earn the money we saved and therefore should use the money on ourselves if finances allow.

it is funny that you mentioned this because I was worrying about it today, if I ever loose my thrill of saving the money. So I asked my husband to sit down with me and set some goals nothing like having something to look forward too :) one of the goals is saving the gas money for our trip to Alaska this summer!!! I cant wait! so we are going to put the money that I save into an account ( we will look at the receipt see how much it tells me in saving and deposit once a week. Hope this helps :)

I had an old man literally cuss at me for using coupons because it made his wait longer in line. At first I was mortified, but once I regained from the shock, I pointed out to him that saving nearly $400 a month was worth it too my family. He grumbled back some more obscenities to me and by that time my total was up on the screen with my savings – I pointed out to him that my bill was only $84 and I had a savings of $89- a savings of 50%+ That shut him up! I bet he is sitting home clipping coupons now!

Ken's Steak House coupons in my paper (Greenville, SC) were only $1.00 off 2. Not $1.00 each like Jenny's match up states. Did anyone find any that are just $1 off the purchase of 1?

I saw the same thing. The coupon for $1.00 off is for the 8oz Ken's Steak House light salad dressing. The other coupon is for the 16oz bottle. This makes the smaller bottle $.99 in my area with the $1.00 off one..

I'm in Florida, can someone explain to me how the BOGO works on special K? I have 4 BOGO coupons and they are bogo at the store, so I understand that I can go and get 8 free boxes, but can I do better than this? And is it worth it?? Meaning, if I can use more coupons than 4 bogos, will the cashier fight me on it or is this a common thing to do? Its already such a good deal that I don't want to cause a scene or get in a mini argument, so I am just wondering what the normal thing to do is…?

I am in GA, and I have read the Florida has different rules for the BOGO sales.
Here in GA, you do not need to buy the two items for it to be at half price, I.e. if the cereal is $4.00 at regular price, one will be $2.00, in this scenario, I will be able to use the BOGO coupon, and basically get the 2 for $2.00, pretty good deal.
However, I read that in Florida you must buy 2 in order for you to get the item for free. Basically, it is not 1/2 price, but as they say, the second item is free. In this case, I do not think you should use your coupons, instead, you may want to use $$$ amount off for this type of purchase (i think $1 off w/ purchase of 2) , since you are basically getting two (event if the other one is free) you SHOULD be able to use the coupon.

Also, if you have any store coupon, you may be able to use them as well.
Here in GA, I would use:
$1.00 off 2
and any other store coupon (either $$ off 2, or $$ off 1)
