Coupon Abbreviations
  • SC = Store Coupon

Stop Being a Money Trasher: Get $2 Extrabucks from CVS

Yay for free money!  CVS is giving anyone who pledges to stop being a “money trasher” a $2 ExtraBuck towards their next CVS purchase.  Head over to the CVS facebook page to make your pledge.

The $2 ECB is for the first 500,000 (so you ought to be able to get it!).

You’ll need to give your email address and CVS ExtraCare card number.  Your $2 is sent in an email that you print and take with you on your next visit.  The email comes very quickly but expires in 6 days, (mine expires 10/3).

    I’m having trouble, as well.  What do you click on to take the pledge?  I’ve clicked on the link describing it, but it just displays a blank box.  Help!

      try a different internet explorer, thats what i had to do. safari wasnt loading so i used firefox.

      Click on the “pledge not to be a money trasher” banner in this blog post. That will take you to the FB page.  You’ll see the same banner there.  Click that. That will take you to the webpage.  You’ll see the same banner there, too.  Click that and the entry form will pop up.

    click on the box under the video box, it’s red & says something about taking the pledge, then a little box will pop uo to take your e-mail & cvs card #. just got mine, they’re only at 18,000 & something, so there’s still more to be had. good luck.  thank you, jenny! you find the best deals!!!

      If you liked a video and are completing the entry form when u see the white box, give it some time. My connection gets slow sometimes and i had to redo some fields i overlooked. Expected it to be just like the emails, so I missed some of the info at first and got a white box before it told what I overlooked.

      You’ll have to do it on a computer. iPhone doesn’t have flash. I had the same problem.

    I wish I’d known the expiration day was so soon or else I wouldn’t have signed up and given someone else a chance to get one.  I’m glad I noticed before I wasted paper and ink printing it out.  I doubt I’ll have the chance to make it to a city with a CVS by Monday.

    It clearly states you will receive and email within 24 hours it has now been 48 hours and still haven’t received the extra buck.  Had 3 other friends who did it and they haven’t received anything either.

        Check to make sure it isn’t maybe in your spam folder.  Mine does that every once in a while.  I got coupon just fine

        Sandra – Call 800-shop-cvs and verify if the email address they have on file is correct. They may have an old one or a typo :)

      You have to click the pledge banner which will reroute you to a new page and enter your email address and CVS Extra Care card number. They will then email your $2ECB to you.
