I didn’t experience Cracker Barrel until I was an adult. I grew up in California, where the closest Cracker Barrel was in Yuma, AZ. I got to take a business trip to Kansas City. There I was exposed to this great place, where I don’t know what is better–the food or the shopping. Many of my dishes came from there!

My local CB is the best! A friend & I eat there at least 3x a week. Sad to say, but it’s the atmosphere and quality of food & value for our hard earned money that keeps us coming back! We’ve gotten to know all the wait staff to the point where we don’t even get menus & they bring us our drinks without asking. Love that they offer kids meals to those of us that don’t have a big appetite!

Cracker Barrel is my home away from home. It was my first job and my mom works there still. We still eat there all the time and my kids wear their clothes. We buy a lot of our gifts there as well.

The thing I like best about Cracker Barrel is the southern hospitality. Years ago my sin lost his favorite stuffed animal. It was one of the large beanie babies. I looked at Cracker Barrel online to see if one was available. It showed some could possibly be located in a local store( I am lucky enough to have several nearby). I called 3 and at each place a salesperson searched for several minutes before letting me know they were out. the 4th was the charm. I appreciated the effort and understanding for our child’s beloved friend!!

I love Cracker Barrel. First, coming onto the “front porch” is as welcoming as an old plantation home. The rocking chairs are so inviting and I almost feel like I can smell magnolias and see the willow tree branches blow in the breeze. Then, walking into the general store. It takes me back to a place in my childhood. I love the variety. There is something for everyone. I can spend a great deal of time browsing the wonderful treasures that are so pleasantly displayed. The food is good home cooking-only better! It is all so delicious and perfect serving sizes. I have never experienced an unfriendly server. I love this place!

Love Cracker Barrell, their down home feeling restaurant makes family dinners perfect, love the country store and all their unique gift items. What’s not to love? The fact that I can walk into any Cracker Barrel and have the same flavor whether I’m in Georgia or Tennessee, or Missouri, etc.? I know my hashbrown casserole will be the same in either state. My hubby can’t do without the Chicken and Dumplings; and forget about the breakfast menu, we never do without the biscuits and gravy. What I love most about Cracker Barrel is that it’s the chosen place to eat when I go up North to visit my Family. Unfortunately, I don’t get to visit, but once or twice a year so it makes for extra special memories. I lost my Father 2 years ago and the last place we had dinner out was Craker Barrel in Kentucky. I have loved Cracker Barrel for over 17 years now. I began my love affair with Cracker Barrel when I was 17 and living on my own in Illinois. I would drive 20 minutes away to eat there once a month as a treat! When I moved from Illinois to California I was devastated because there wasn’t a Cracker Barrel near us. My husband is in the Navy and I told him that if he didn’t move us near a Cracker Barrel at our next duty station that we just wouldn’t make it together. He did as I requested and I have been in bliss to find my own piece of paradise each time we move. When we go on road trips, or move our household we take our special Cracker Barrel map with us. This map is our guide and we only stop if there is a Cracker Barrel near, we eat all of our road trip meals there. We have been to Cracker Barrel’s all over America and each time we try a new one it is always a wonderful experience! The employees are friendly, the food is amazing and if for some reason there is a problem (for instance you son says they want chicken and then starts yelling mac-n-cheese when it arrives) the managers fix the situation always in the customers behalf. I shop for ornaments at Christmas time, I always check out their clearance and my four kids adore the toy section. Butter mints. . if you have ever purchased their green or pink butter mints I need not say anything more. If you haven’t, run as fast as you can and splurge on those delicious sweet bites. My favorite thing on the menu is the Chicken and Dumplings with green beans and a salad, yum! I think I know what I want for dinner!! J

My sister used to work at Cracker Barrell, so I have ate there quite a bit. We have all our family get together’s like Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthday parties and going away dinners there. Of course, on Christmas and Thanksgiving we meet either the day before or day after. We love their food and country atmosphere.

Cracker Barrel takes me back to my childhood when we would take trips to my grandparent’s house. They were 8 hour trips, 6 of those hours on interstate. At that time there were only a few along this section of I-95. I would always have the chicken and dumplings with a corn shaped butterscotch sucker from the store for the rest of the ride. Happy times :)

I love it when the fireplace is roaring, when we can get a table close to the checkers so the kids can go play together an arm’s reach away from us & we get a few minutes of alone time. I love the hot cinnamon balls that come in the jar that you can get in the store. There has never been anything off the menu that I’ve not liked! Whatever I’m in the mood for (and I have some wildly varying tastes), I can always find something. My favorite comfort thing is the grilled American cheese sandwich (plain) and a cup of veg soup and the small salad that has the bacon on it… and the croutons! Slightly soft, buttery… I could go on further… but I should give someone else a shot!!! :)

My youngest daughter and I took a trip to Tuscaloosa to visit my oldest daughter (her sister) and her new little family which now includes 4 month old Emmett. We invited them to “late breakfast/lunch” at Cracker Barrel and they jumped at the chance to take the whole family for their first Cracker Barrel experience with baby Emmett. Daddy had the Old Timer’s Breakfast. Mom had the Mama’s French Toast. Emmett ordered off the menu. GrandTerri and Aunt Camille just had a great time with food and family.

What is there not to like about Crackerbarrel? You can take a family of 4 there, get great food, and not pay an arm and a leg. PLUS you get to shop and look through all the amazing merchandise. Not to mention the front porch where you can rock and have a good o’ld time. It’s my sons favorite!!

My cousin and sister used to live in Minnesota and told me that the Cracker Barrel was the ONLY place up north to get sweet tea and fried okra!

I love cracker barrels hash brown casserole ad dumplings. I also love if there is a wait (which the food is SO worth the wait), you can shop in the general store, and love their seasonal gifts.

There’s a lot to love about Cracker Barrel. It’s one of those places you can take the whole family and have a great time together. Whether you’re rocking out on the porch or eating the best homecooked meal or playing those triangular games (not sure what they’re called). It’s an all around good time! Not to mention the great customer service and genuinely friendly people.

My all time favorite is their blueberry pancakes!! I love their decor and the gift section is delightful and especially entertaining for kids. The fire in the winter and sweet customer service always produces and very warm, homey environment.

I have accidentally created some awesome memories at Cracker Barrel. My best friend and I ate there the day before I got married, spending our last day together before I was no longer single, and the year my first son was born, my hubby and I ate there the morning after Thanksgiving. I love that it is a cheap place for my family and I to gather. We love the southern cooking and a nice glass of sweet tea to go with it. We have made it a tradition that for desert we eat their biscuits with butter and blackberry jelly on them. We call it our blackberry cobbler. After we are done eating we sit outside and rock in the rockers with our kids while we let the food settle down, enjoying our time until we go home. We have our own family traditions set with Cracker Barrel and always plan to keep them! It is a place we always loved to go to and now my kids do as well!

I absolutely love being able to eat breakfast at anytime of the day at Cracker Barrel. My favorite breakfast combo is the Mama’s pancake breakfast with blueberry pecan pancakes served with warm maple syrup, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. The pancakes are so delicious that I use next to none of the syrup. The outside rim of the pancakes is kind of crispy, while the center is filled with blueberries and pecans. I usually share this with my husband because it’s a lot (3 large pancakes). Delicious! Go Cracker Barrel!

I love that it is a cheap place for my family and I to gather. We love the southern cooking and a nice glass of sweet tea to go with it. We have made it a tradition that for desert we eat their biscuits with butter and blackberry jelly on them. We call it our blackberry cobbler. After we are done eating we sit outside and rock in the rockers with our kids while we let the food settle down, enjoying our time until we go home. We have our own family traditions set with Cracker Barrel and always plan to keep them! It is a place we always loved to go to and now my kids do as well!

I love having the Cracker Barrell Bisquits with a little butter and the apple butter, you have to request it but it reminds me of the apple butter made by my grandma who lived out of state and only saw once a year. We lost her a year ago but it always brings back memories of the apple tree in her yard and waking up in the cool west virginia mountains and smelling bacon cooking and bisquits with apple butter in the mornings. Whew!

I love the fact that my kids can play the games while we wait for our food. I love the shopping because they always have gifts that you can’t find anywhere else. Also love the biscuits and all the food, I have never had anything that I didn’t like.

Cracker Barrel it the best! My girls love to browse through the country store. Most times we find a unique gift for someone we love and the staff is always so wonderful. This is one of our favorite places to go.

I love looking in their gift shop at some of the candy that I remember as a kid that you can’t actually find any place else
and give me a dose of hash brown casserole any day to help out any illness that I might have will be my cure.

I love that I can go there and eat a sensible weight watchers meal and still have points for a snack later. I also love that my little girl calls it Cracker Berry and she loves their veggies.

Love the food, goodies that they sell as merchandise, the atmosphere — everything! My granddaughter will turn 6 next week and gets to choose anywhere to go out to eat. She chose Cracker Barrel (even over McDonalds!!)

I really fell in love with cracker barrel a few months ago on a road trip with my two sons, who were then 30 mos and 8 mos old. My mom and I would stop at Cracker Barrel for dinner because it was just so convenient. She would take my older son inside and shop in the store with him while I would find a secluded spot in their large parking lot to nurse my younger son. (I am not really into public breastfeeding.) We all loved the food, and the baby, who had just started on solids, went crazy over CB’s dumplings! I also love the affordability of the children’s menu items — sometimes kids’ menus can be so expensive.

What I love about Cracker Barrel is their selection. We can always take our large family and have everybody find something delicious on their menu. When we get together, it is our go-to place. When there is a wait, it’s nice to have their store to browse around to help pass the time.

My favorite thing about Cracker Barrel is the warmth (figuratively and literally) of the store and the dining area. It is nostaligic and so very family friendly with no provacative signs or merchandise. How we love to play their peg game at the table to see who is an ‘Ig-no-ra-moose’ :-)

I love the way the staff is so friendly. You can go in and eat and shop at the same time. While you are waiting you can play the peg game with your family. I also love the fireplace its such a warming experience. It’s not expensive like other restraunts.
