If you want to cut your cell phone bill, be sure to look into Straight Talk. Walmart currently has a new Apple iPhone 5S for $299.

This is more than what you’ll pay upfront for a newer model with a 2 year contract but you’ll pay a lot less monthly. With Straight Talk you pay $45 per month for 5GB Data and unlimited talk and text. You can even go ahead and prepay for a year for $495 to get a month free (making it $41.25 per month). To compare with Verizon, if you are not in a 2 year contract and you do month to month you can choose to pay $449.99 for the 5S or pay $18.73 monthly. The service then costs $20 per phone plus data. Data starts at $30 for 1GB.
