These deals are the the top deals at Food Lion this week.  It’s another strange week with Central South Carolina having their own B1G1 specials, I’ve put them in a separate section at the bottom of the list.  If you find any other deals in the store please share!

Some areas of Georgia, check your ad for a $5 off $50 purchase coupon.shoppinglist1

Remember:
1. Check with your local store about B1G1 items. Ask “Are you required to buy 2, or will they each ring up at half price?”
2. Most Food Lion stores do not double coupons.
3. If you do a B1G1 deal, use 2 coupons if they will let you.

If you are new to Southern Savers read up on what all this means.

I could not find the McCormick Spices coupon on the link

    • Melissa

The Food Lion in Piedmont SC is no longer taking internet printable coupons except their own. This is as of last week.

    • chasgal

At the FL in Mt Pleasant, the BOGO will ring up 1/2 price, but the store doesnt double coupons. Also more than half of the things listed here were not marked on sale at that FL. Dont know whether they just werent on sale, or whether they had already taken the sale signs down yesterday afternoon. I saw an article yesterday in the paper that said FL was bartering to buy out Bi-Lo…sure hope that doesnt happen!!!

    • LaDora

On the BE Voila, wouldn’t the price be $1.74? Thanks for all you do, Jenny! Your lists continually help my family save loads of money!

      • kelli

        I think you’re right. I was excited when I saw 74 cents.

    • Celeste

The ad for the College Park, GA store has 8 packs of Brawny or 12 packs of Quilted Northern on sale for $4.99. This really good price will be a great deal combined with the $3 q that was in the Saturday edition of the AJC a couple of weeks ago. There are also a lot of other BOGO deals. This store is celebrating it’s Grand Opening. It also has the coupon for $5 off of $50, but it’s restricted for this Saturday (Oct. 10th) from 7 am through Noon.

      • Syndi

Do you have any idea what paper the $3 Q was in. I get the AJC and haven’t found it.. thanks

    • Kathy

I was also told Food Lion was talking about by out BI-LO.!! If it does I’ll never darken a Food Lion store!! It will be AlDIs and WALMART grocery stores!! BI-LO has the absolute best BIGO buys. I saved over 123.00 in the last 2 days and it was actually items I use daily or weekly!! It’s hard enough for the house wife or mother to manage the money to feed her familu or self, let alone taking away the best bargins in the area!! I know of a lot of people that will be very upset if this transaction happens!

      Single Tennessee Grandmother of 8

      • That’s odd. I heard the same thing this afternoon that there has been rumors about Bi-lo buying out Food Lion. I am in Columbia. We shall see what the outcome is.

        • Tanya

Our Bilo starre closed 2 years ago. The building remained empty. Then one day we found out FL was moving in. Now our small town has 2 FL and no BiLo.

    • Cindi

In the Roanoke Valley, Virginia ad the All Laundry Detergent, 32 Load, B1G1 is $5.19 so…for us it is with the -$1 All Liquid Laundry Detergent, RP 10/4 or printable (about $1.60) WOO HOO!!!! I am thrilled cause most of our listed prices are usually a little higher than most of you guys.

    • Beth

not Food Lion subject, but my Bloom ad today said doubling coupons up to $1.98this week. Could be a great week there!

    • mydeere5

Just in case I’m reading it wrong my FoodLion ad shows the Tyson Chicken at BOGO for $13.99 in north Florida. Anyone else?? Looks like it might be confused with the Angus beef patties in the ad below. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work it makes our jobs so much easier!

      • nancy

wow if that is true i will never eat tyson chicken again. lol I never see it above 7 in NC.

      • Natasha

$13.99 for 2 in Augusta, GA too…. wish it were $5 and change!

    • Shannon

Chicken prices here in North Florida are different as well. the chic thighs are .67 and the legs are .77 cent also the boneless chuck roast is 2.49 a pound.. Wish it was the price you guys have!! Just a heads up to check your local ad’s for pricing.. Thanks again

      • LD

Did you happen to notice if the bagel bites and lean pockets are still on sale in NF? and are any of the spice prices worth it? A couple weeks ago when I checked they seemed way over priced , so at 30% off it stil would not be worth it. I just wish we could double coupons at any store never mind the prices lol. Oh also I noticed for us the the Smith field sausage is on sale b1g1 [2.99 reg price] and paula deans news letter has a .55 off 1 coupon , so this should make it at .95 cents each . So I think we will be having sausage this week .

    • Jessica

Is it just me, or is the FL Macaroni & Cheese Dinner for $0.10 a great deal?!! I plan on stocking up with at least ten of these– a buck is not bad for ten side dishes/ pasta dishes!!

    • Our Tyson chicken in Wadesboro NC was also B1G1 at 13.99. The Green Giant vegetables were B1G1 at 1.39, making the Food Lion brand a better buy at 5/$3. The Breyer’s ice cream was B1G1 at 5.49, but the Food Lion Premium ice cream a great buy at $2.39 on sale plus the $1 off coupon this week for Food Lion ice cream. Our chicken thighs and drumsticks are also 67 cents and 77 cents respectively. There were a few sales that seem to have carried over from last week, such as the bagel Bites 2/$4 (there is a $1 off coupon, making these $1), and the Hot Pockets/Lean Pockets 5/$10(also a few coupons of different values from $1 to 50 cents floating around). This seems to be a week with a lot of variation in prices between stores in different areas. But I am not complaining, since Tuesday I got $241 in groceries for $139, and yesterday with the new sale managed $145 for $70.

    • About the McCormick Spices coupon that everyone is having trouble finding. I know that this coupon did exists at the beginning of the week cause I posted the same coupon on my website. They must have ran out of coupons that were available to print.

      wrong week??? Whoops!!

    • Kim

Does anyone know about the Free Turkey Giveaway (basically you get a $20 gift card)? It reads on the flier that you have to spend $45/week for six weeks…does that mean before or after coupons? Thanks for anyone who can clear this up with me!

      • That 45 for the turkey credit is AFTER coupons. Dang it! I had enough and after coupons it came below 45 and I didn’t get the credit. Oh well, at least there is 6 weeks out of 8 to try for it.

    • Amy

Does a B1G1 ring up half price? Or do I have to buy 2?

      • kelli

buy one, get one free items at Food Lion will ring up half price

    • LD

Little Debbie cupcakes family pack 1.99 [sale] .75 off 1 printable coupon makes then 1.25 a pack . This was in the Florida FL. It is cheaper than walmart and these cupcakes about any where else here .

    • LaTasha (NC)

Snuggle liquid fabric softener is on sale at FL for $3.49. Use the $3.00 off coupon to make them $0.49 each

    • Annette

Looks to me like the oscar meyer bacon deal is even better with the FL store coupon 1.00 off of one stacked with the manufacture coupon 1.50/2. That would be 2.50 off of 2.

    • Christy

Does anyone know anything about the coupon policy for the Food Lions in coastal North Carolina? We’re heading to Nags Head for vacation in a few days and I wanted to do some of my coupon shopping there so we don’t have to tote as much with us. We’ll be staying right across the street from the Food Lion in the southern part of Nags Head (Croatan Hwy???). Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

      Christy
      <

      • NANCY

Same rule apply. No change or sales for that matter usually. some price increase with vacation areas though. (Beach)
        Have a great v.

    • The food lion in Dillon SC does not double..And they will not take 2 coupons for the same item .for example (Manf. & store coupon)..
Thanks, Jenny! I love your web site..

    • Debra

      Hi, Kathy
I was reading your comment about Food Lion buying out bi-lo, I also heard that months ago and just recently on the news. I live in West Cola, SC area, I sure hope that doesn’t happen I also shop alot at bi-lo. I also shop at Publix and usually get pretty good deals. If you have never shopped there before please check it out. They usually have some good bogo deals.

    • LD

Oh I meant to post that I used one of the McCormick spice coupon on Vanilla and I got a Catalina for $1 off my next shopping order . So that vanilla ended up costing me .94 cents [real] so glad the baking season is just around the corner.
