Here are the deals at Food Lion starting Wednesday 3/24. It is an okay week with a few deals you might want to head out for. I like the Buy More Save More deal, but it would be more fun if there were coupons.

      “McCormick Seasonings 30% OFF
Buy 2, Get $1.50, Buy 3+ Get $2.50 off your next order”

I tried this at both of the stores in my town today and it didn't print. I called catalina marketing about it and I was told that the coupon will(should) only print out on mccormick extracts.

      • frugalista

The promotion catalina (the receipt where they advertise it) said extracts, herbs, or spices, but I bought three items and only had $1.50 print, when it should have been $2.50. It was at Harris Teeter, which has good customer service, so she just took the $1.50 catalina and they gave me $2.50 cash. It's worth trying . . .

    • AmyFMSC

I have a question about the $5 rebate for GP products. The fine print says, “Purchase $20 or more (after all discounts and credits have been applied.)” Does that mean coupons? So if I bought $20 worth and used $1 in coupons then it wouldn't qualify?

Thanks so much everyone (especially Jenny!)

    • robertanewber

unable to get emerald nuts, dove cpns andjohnsonville sausage cpns even after registering.Thought you should know.Dove site says “reached limit”. johnsonville site shows no cpns at all but allows you to contact for one to be mailed to you and the Emerald nuts site says you are too late, and thats the way it's been since first e-mail was sent out on deal

    • Marlene

Combine the Food Lion store coupon $1.50 off 2 with 2 of the mfg Qs from 3/28 RP and you can get 2 for 50 cents!

    • SUSAN

MUELLERS PASTA SHOULD BE FREE WITH THE .55 COUPONS AND IT IS ONLY 1.00 FOR WHOLE WHEAT

    • SUSAN

SORRY FORGOT IT WAS FOOD LION THEY DO NOT DOUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Becky

I have a question and I wasn't sure where I should post this. It's about the Kraft cheese deal from last week. I bought 6 packs of cheese, used 3 BOGO coupons. Those came off fine. I thought I could also use a coupon for $1/2 since I was technically still buying 3 packs, but they wouldn't let me use it. I didn't argue since I was getting such a great deal anyway, but I'm just asking so I'll know for future reference.

      • Cole05

I would think you could've used it b/c Your BOGO coupons would've only been on three packs leaving 3 packs that you could've used your $1/2 and another $/1 if you had one.

        • Becky

That's exactly what I thought too. Not sure why they refused to take it, but oh well, still a really good deal on cheese! Thanks for verifying that I half-way know what I'm doing, lol.

          • Lana

I bought 6 and used 3 BOGOs and a $2/2 and paid 50 cents for 6 bags of cheese. It did take the manager's key though but my Food Lion never questions coupons.

          • Ashley

You will run in to this a lot. I have. Employees do NOT know coupon rules half the time, and they just make up their own. It's always best to bring a store policy if you can, like with Rite Aid. But I do wonder if we could google “Coupon Rules” to see the correct information about how coupons can be used firsthand.

          • Amber

The same thing happened to me too.

      • kelli

I'm pretty sure that it depends on the say that the coupon in coded. Some BOGO coupons are coded to attach to 1 of the items, meaning that you could use a $$ off coupon on the second item, and some are coded to attach to both which means that the register will not allow a second coupon to go through.

        • Becky

That's interesting. Is there anyway to tell which is which?

    • Sarah

Just a heads up. I found coupons at my local Kroger a while back, but they are still there for Clorox items. They are at the front by the shopping carts where you get the disinfecting wipes for the carts. It says Save a 1.50 on any Clorox product when you purchase Clorox Wipes. Buy 5 get 50% off would be a great deal with these coupons. I'm in Johnson City, TN.

      • Sarah

The coupons expire 3/30/2010 and if I figured it out right, if you buy 3 Clorox clean ups and 3 clorox wipes. You could use 3 qpons + the 50% off and it would be about .88 a bottle.

      • jessc5

Hi neighbor! (I'm in JC, too!)

    • Christy

Is it safe to assume that Food Lion does not double coupons?

    • Vickia

FYI – I called the 1-800 number on the GP Everyday Essentials Rebate and was told it had to be $20.00 before taxes and after all q's and other discounts like a store card. So if you are in doubt give them a call and see if you get a different answer.

    • Jamie

FL in Havelock NC has Tropicana OJ 2/$5.00 If you use the BOGO coupon from the Juicy Rewards page and the $1 off from RP 3/14 that makes two OJ's only .75 each!

    • Tonya

Food Lion in Greensboro had a display with a coupon for $2 off Buther's Brand ground beef when you buy 3 participating Taco Bell items which were priced 3 for $5. Then I got a catalina for $1 for buying the Taco Bell items. Also, has anyone had problems using printed coupons at Food Lion? They would not take mine.

    • GraphicsGirl

I'm really confused about the GP Rebate too. I was thinking I could get 4 Quilted Northerns and 2 Brawnys for a total of 23.94 before tax. But I would get a 50% discount and I was gonna use at least 2 coupons – more if I can find some printables. If the rebate only counts on the total before tax, but after ALL discounts, I'll have to buy more in order to qualify. The problem is that I'm terrible at math and it's gonna take me forever to figure out how many I have to buy. Guess I'd better get my Q's together and try to figure it out because I think it will still be an awesome deal and we can always use TP and Paper Towels.

    • Brittany

Does anyone know if the Quilted Northern Ultra tp works with the Buy more Save more deal. It is still 3.99 for 6 double packs, like the regular packs. Anyone tried it?

    • Gran

In my North Georgia FL, the Northern Ultra worked. My store was
out of the regular 6 rolls on Wed. morning. The manager said he
had ordered extra. Went back Wed. night, Thursday and Friday and
still has been not restocked. Will try again first of week. Does anyone know if they will give rainchecks on this deal?

    • mhardcastle

The local Food Lion I visited had the Quilted Northern Bath Tissue 6 Double Rolls $3.99 where you received 50% if you purchased 5 packages. I purchased 5 packages for $20 and received the 50% discount making the 5 packages $10. I will then submit my $5 discount to make each package of Quilted Norther Bath Tissue $1/each.
