For the Coleman Naturals chicken coupon, mine all say Do Not Double.  Is there another one?

      • Jessica

over half of my coupons say do not double but if it starts with a 5 code it will double automatically.  They would have to override it (via a manager to keep it from doubling) which takes way to much time.  Out of over 100 shopping trips to Harris they have NEVER kept a coupon from doubling

        • Katie

It all depends on your Harris Teeter. There are two Harris Teeters in my town.  At one, they don’t enforce that policy.  At the other, the cashiers read EVERY.SINGLE.COUPON. top to bottom and override them.

          • Tricia

MIne won’t double them either and they don’t care how much time they’re wasting.  I don’t even bother with the Do Not Double Qs anymore.

          • Audley79

mine also checks every single on and if it says do not double they wont do it

          • Crystalgoodwin3

My HT is way too busy to look at each and every single coupon.

          • Kim

You must live in Chesapeake, VA! Hanbury Rd. is very flexible and easy to work with for couponers – Greenbrier, not so much!

        • Court

Same here, unless the coupon beeps for some reason and they call a manager. If the manager sees it’s a DND, they will not double it. Grrr :)

Is there a trick to getting unadvertised deals? I’ve taken products to the register before that are “unadvertised deals” and they ring up full price. Any help??

      • Brooke

Unadvertised deals simply mean they are not in the ad.. If your store has express lane, you can check to see if it is actually on sale at your store. Sometimes unadvertised deals vary from store to store.. for example, a few weeks back tic tacs and budding lunch meat was on special according to the site. One store I went to had them but they were on closeout.. the other store no longer had the product.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

If it’s not listed on the shelf tag, then it’s probably not on sale.

        • Mommarn8

Unfortunately NONE of the prices were on the shelf tags this morning, so that was no help. It was my first HT experience ever and it was not what I was hoping it to be at all. I need to regroup and try to go back tomorrow without kids.

          • sonia

We had the same thing happen that they were still putting out shelf tags.  It made me so aggravated.

    • Terri

      Wonderful week for rainchecks!!  :)

      • Jessica

I am about 6 mos into couponing and am still learning….I have got to start collecting rain checks!!!

        • Nbeardenrdh

I just started doing rainchecks, a couple weeks ago I used my Pepsi coupons with a raincheck I had for buy 2 get 3 free Pepsi 12 packs. I got a few more items with coupons and evick coupons. My total was .60!!!! I hung the reciept on the fridge and I am still proud!! Rainchecks payoff!!!

          • Crystalgoodwin3

            HT rainchecks are great.
I’m planning on using the ones that I got during the last super doubles this week. Maybe this time the items will be in stock since there’re not on sale.

    • JustTheFlax

Nestle Morsels are on sale, so why are there coupons listed that don’t even correspond? They are all for the pre-made dough…BTW, I have a catalina for .75 off morsels, so I’ll be using that tomorrow!

      • MariaClipsCoupons

I know, I was excited because we are all out of morsels (and overflowing with dough!) Wish I had a catalina, but I’ll buy one anyway. Still, I TOTALLY appreciate the match-ups! Thanks, Jenny!

      • Sarah

It may be a regional coupon, I got a coupon for the Nestle morsels in this past weekends paper.

Always went to Harris Teeter and now another chain bought them out in our area, and they are too far away to shop there now.  Struggling to find deals at the places remaining in our area.

    • Misses Giveaways

      Thank you for the matchups!

    • Sharon

Isn’t the 9 oz Dawn a trial size bottle? Or, is there one smaller. Just wondering because the coupon says Excludes Trial Size.

      • Amyb

No, it’s not a trial size.

        • Sharon

          Great!  Thanks

    • Sharon

The candy coupon says Do Not Double AND it says $1.50 off 3 BAGS, not bars.  Am I missing something here?  Please correct me if I am wrong because I would love to get them for FREE :-).

      • Court

The coupon she’s referring to isn’t due to come out until this Sunday’s paper. It says RP 9/16. :)

        • Sharon

Yes, but I got my 9/16 RP in the mail yesterday and it says DND as well as fun-size bags (?)  Is there another 9/16 RP flier coming out?  Like I said, I would love to get free candy and hope there is a coupon I can use :-)

          • Elisabet_maldonado

how did you get ur 9/16 RP in the mail yesterday?

            • Guest

Where I live I get mine on Wednesday’s also in a flier in the mail called “MidWeek Values.”

            • Bella

I get mine in the mail on Wednesday too!! However..Redplum does not come in the Sunday paper where I lve:(

    • Angelas001

The Brut deo coupon says DO NOT double- tiny at the bottom of the paragraph.  Just FYI!

      • bngentry

I missed that but checked my receipt and it doubled anyway.

        • danifreed

Yesterday I tried to get two items with coupons that stated DND but the cashier set them aside and called the manager to put them as face value.  They do double automatically but sometimes we are out of luck with that.

    • Katlin

I’m new to couponing, will HT take expired coupons?

      • Britta

        no

        • Jessica

only if you have a raincheck

        • Jessica

only if you have a raincheck

          • Guest

             HT never accepts expired coupons.

    • Britta

I saved $74.93 and paid $1.18 for tax. I am so excited.

    • Snowtiger0987

Are the limits ( like the four on the cereal ) And the 20 limit on doubling per day? If I did some today could I go back tomorrow and do more?

      • Jessica

The evic specials are on your card so it is a one time deal.  The doubling is a seperate deal and renews everyday

HT in Davidson, NC had $3 off coupons on Smithfield bacon, making it $0.50 each!

      • MTN2SEA

GOT MINE FREE!! They were 2/$7.00 and had a $1.50 off HT coupon on pack–going out of date. PLUS my (2) 1.00 off coupons that doubled = FREE BACON :) WOOHOO!!!

      • Brooke

They had this early in the morning at Hendersonville, NC HT too! The meat person they said they ad over 70 packs that they needed to move for fresh product to come out, I looked at the expiration date and its not even until 9/16. I got 6 packs for 3.00 PLUS used (2) 1.00/1 coupons which gave me 1.00 overage. When the have those yellow tags, I guess the register doesn’t know you didn’t actually pay 3.50 so it doubled them both anyways. I was expecting to just get them for free! My mom who went shopping with me also got 6 packs! The meat department manager was trying to get me to take them all so he could get them out of there but I wanted to save deals for everyone else so I went around the store telling everyone to go check the bacon out :) Great morning!

        • Brooke

My only complaint is the hershey’s simple pleasure had one bag on the shelf when I got there. I got there at 7 and one lady got to that shelf before me and took 3.. so they must have not ordered very many.

          • Tricia

That’s funny, my store in VA had a million bags!  I grabbed 2.  I didn’t get there til 9am

          • Splucker

We only had a few bags left in Durham, NC. It was the first time I tried them, the dark chocolate was not good if you like dark chocolate.

            • Britta

I got the trial bag free at CVS today. I didn’t like them. Dove promises are way better.

          • Crystalgoodwin3

            Get rainchecks.
I’m going to use the rainchecks that I got last time they had super doubles. All my coupons are still good.

            • Brooke

Good thinking except rumor has it there won’t be another event until November, I bet most my coupons expire before then!

          • Sam

This must be a regional deal.  None of my 3 stores in/near Fort Mill SC show it as being on sale.

    • Bellasavings2

I did really good today! I got $132.67 worth of groceris and paid out of pocket $1.67 plus got $1 off my next transaction for buying 2 fragrance mist starter kit, so like paying .67 for it all. Plus I got a free coke, because didnt tell me about some charity or something. They had a sign at the register

      • guest

         What all did you get?

        • Bellasavings2

my computer is acting weird so I will post my transactions in a new post

          • Bellasavings2

says my post has to be approved.ugh

    • Sharonglenn

I’ve a coupon that came in the mail from Kraft for “$2 off on fresh chicken” when you  buy 1 kraft Fresh Take – did anyone get that same coupon as I was wondering if it would double? On the q, it sas ‘do not double’ and the barcode does not have a 5

      • Crystalgoodwin3

Does it start with a 9?
If so, it will not double.

    • Amandanell

Well i did good for me not as good as the really good couponers but I did save half. I don’t think this was on the list but Johnson and Johnson reach floss is on clearance and with $1.00 off doubled coupon is free.  in the Harris Teeter Fort Mill SC store.

      • Britta

We all have to start somewhere. If you are new to couponing and saved 50%, that is awesome! Jenny has a fabulous blog and fantastic followers. We help each other all the time. My best advice is to read the comments, which is what you are doing. Keep it up!

        • Amandanell

          Thanks

      • Cindy

I did the same thing. Mom and I went and together spent 75 dollars, but it would have been 208 if it had been regular price. Some of the coupon match ups did not double though, they only doubled 19 instead of 20 for both of ours. :(

    • Guest

Two additional deals I found today…Yoplait Simplait yogurt on sale for 70 cents each. With 30 cent Q I scored yogurt for 10 cents a cup.

Also, Dole canned pineapple (small can) 80 cents.  With $1/3 Q from booklet I got at FL a while back, it came to 13 cents a can.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

There’s a catalina running if yo buy 4 cans you 50 cent catalina.
        Buy 4 cans @ 80 cent each = $3.20 – $2 ($1/3) = pay $1.20 get back 50 cent for next order.
70 cent for 4 cans. Great deal!
        This runs until 9/30/12

Did anyone get P&G evics today? It was on my email in this week’s promotions that new P&G evics were available. When I clicked on my evics this morning, there was only one P&G evic, a $5 evic for Iams dog food. I just now looked at it and the dog food was gone and no other P&G’s. Even the promotion site changed. It was showing Tide, Cascade, Dawn, Iams, etc evics were available and now it’s gone. Please tell me that someone else saw this and I’m not crazy.

      • Mhaubrey

you are not crazy. my evics coupons do not include any p&g…and I looked at the promotions page several times! Not sure what is happening…hopefully HT will check the glitch and fix it soon! I need Tide!!

        • dj

As of 7AM Thursday, they are on the zvr page. I was able to load several this morning. HTH!

          • Britta

I did too. The noticables warmer was a $2.63 money maker with the $3 Q and $3 zvr. Yay for money makers! The air effects and the car vent were free. The scope will be a mm too, but today my store was out.

            • Britta

The Dawn was a $.50 mm

      • Alison

Yes I saw it too, the sale email flyer that I got has the P&G ad that you are talking about in it. I did the same thing, saw the Iams this morning but nothing else. I went to the P&G Esaver site and loaded the coupons from there (there were none available on Monday but now it shows lots available.) I loaded them this morning and went tonight to test it, didn’t come off. It says it should only take an hour to load. Has anyone ever successfully loaded and used coupons on the esaver site (not the vic site but the one for P&G) at Harris Teeter? I know I’ve tried before unsuccessfully, but they work fine for Kroger.

My coupons for 1.50 and 2.00 did not double I knew that could not be the right total so I had them check. They said this was the first time this has happened today that know of.

      • Guest

Did you go to Self-Checkout? I’m noticing that if you go to Self-Checkout, during Super Double events, coupons more than .99 never double. The managers have to enter them in. As of the Charlotte market.

    • Rexxtigger

I went to the one in Concord, at 6:15 a,m. The shelves were empty….left with nothing…

What store do you go to that accepts ecb’s from cvs?

        • Bellasavings2

Harris teeter is the only one that I am aware of

          • Bellasavings2

            The one in Hendersonville nc

Has anyone done the Pepsi deal? My sale ad says they are B3G2. My express lane says they are 3.83 each. Usually when they are B2G3 or B3G2 the express lane will just say on sale. Just trying to figure out if this is a good deal or not. If it is using the 3.83 as the price then it sounds like it would be a great deal! If not then it wouldn’t be. Anyone know??? Thanks!!

      • gigi

My pepsi express lane says they are 1.97 each… hmm

        • amy

My store has 12 pack pepesi products for $1.97 each–Limit of 4.  And you can do this deal each day–Great price for 12 pack of sodas–usually a good price is $2.50.

          • londonbridge13

I think the $1.97/pk for 4 is only a one time deal?

        • Tfwsaver

          I got mine for $1.97 …

    • Guest

I love my Charlotte HT stores.. the ones on Sardis and Cotswold are awesome. Customer service is excellent!! :-)

Nature Made coupons start with a 9, that don’t double?  Has anyone used them yet to make them free?

      • Britta

I used mine at cvs this week. They are bogo.

      • Couponval430

Mine didn’t double.  My Bic Hybrid 4 Razors did not double, I was pretty sure they didn’t start with a 9

      • Guest

Mine didn’t double either. Manager said that if any coupon starts with a 9, it will never double, even if it doesn’t say “Do Not Double” on the coupon.

But, even if you use the $2 coupon and only get 1 Vitamin, you can still get 50% off 1 and use a $2 coupon. I got Cinnamon today and got one for $2.24. Good deal.

    • sonia

    • Britta

If anyone got the Newman’s Own pizza e-vic offer under the organics tab in Wed e-mail the $2Q makes them $.99.

      • Britta

I am sorry, it is the $1 q makes them $.99.

    • David Of Title

anyone need rebates? I have many extras that are nbpr. david.of.title@gmail.com

    • Jesse

If a coupon says “Do Not Double”, you should not be ignoring it and trying to force it through.  That’s called fraud, friends.  HT gets shorted when you do that, and I don’t know about the rest of you, but I would hate to see this Double Supers Program go away because of fraudulent couponers.

      • MM

Harris Teeter does not get shorted. Harris Teeter pays for the double coupon and they still get reimbursed for the face value of the coupon. Don’t see how that makes them get shorted.

        • Choir

          Let the choir say AMEN!

          • Sarahsflutestudio

            amen

            • Jesse

i would LOVE to hear that this is true, but regardless, it’s still breaking the rules.  The HT Super Doubles Policy clearly states, ”
Coupons that state “do not double” will not be doubled or tripled.”

            • Guest

It may have changed since I last looked, but I believe it says “should” not be doubled, not “will” not be doubled.
minor wording difference, but it shows the unwillingness on their part to come down firmly on this issue.
Just leave it up to the individual store as to how they want to handle those coupons.

          • CouponCutie

            amen

      • mewatts

It depends on what number the coupon starts with. That is how HT has their system set up. SO, if it starts with a 5 and says DND it will still double because HT sets it up that way. Same as with the new bar codes.

    • londonbridge13

Just received my evic special savings alert email for this weekend. Looks like on Sunday you can get the Palermo’s Pizza limit 2 for $2.47, use your coupon for $1.00 off one double to $2 and pay $0.47! Sounds like a sweet deal to me. :)

      • Britta

I rarely get the Sunday specials. I usually get 2 offers for Saturday. Good for you! My weekend deals stink. I am going to go in the morning and skip the weekend altogether. I was happy I got the Newman’s own pizza organic deal at $2.99. Made them $.99.

      • Tfwsaver

I did this deal tonight….2 pizzas for 94 cents!  What a deal!

        • londonbridge13

It was an awesome deal! Too bad it was just limit 2 so I shared my coupon with my sister.

    • Christi Hartman

isn’t it kind of dishonest to use coupons for cookie dough to get money off of chocolate chips? and will it even work? i notice that’s all that’s listed here under the nestle choc chip special. and i’d love to get some cheap choc chips. but i feel guilty about that one

      • Ctrinkle

I think that she made a mistake.  There are a couple of chocolate chip coupons out there for .50 and .75 off of 2.

    • Britta

The new coupon advisory from Jenny today has a link to the Wholly website. $1.50 off salsa makes it free.

      • CouponKing

The printable $1.50 coupon would not scan at my HT.

        • Britta

I didn’t get to try, at my store it was out of stock.

    • Lovesavingmoney

I’m new to couponing at Harris Teeter and was wondering if they take internet coupons?

      • Melissascoupons

        yes

        • Lovesavingmoney

Thanks.  Do you know if they limit the number of internet coupons you can use?

          • Mk

There is no limit on the total number you can use.  However, you can only use 2 of the same internet coupon.

            • Elphaba

I thought it was a maximum of two printable coupons per day.

            • Dj

It’s a maximum of two like internet coupons per shopping trip. For example if you have internet coupons for $1 off Kix, you can only use 2 of those per shopping trip.  If you have 20 internet coupons in a transaction and they are all for different products and amounts, you can use all 20.

            • Kswebb217

My store allows three like internet q’s and yes they all doubled. Just ask your manager or someone at your store the next time you are there. Aparently from reading all the comments some stores are different. HTH :)

            • O’s Mom

You can, however, print from as many computers as you have access to…We have 2 computers and and while the limit is 2 coupons per computer I cn usually print 2 from each if I am really in need of an item…but alot of printables are limited supply so I try to not get more than my share to allow for others to take part in the big deals…My thoughts are to just be respectful :)

      • UniqueIzMe

Yes they do.  You have can up to three internet coupons of the same kind for the same item.

        • Pamgam1

Per policy you can only have 2 internet coupons of the same kind for the same item.

          • Tricia

My store (VA) said they accept 3 internet coupons.  Too bad I’m always limited to printing 2!

        • Pamgam1

Per policy you can only have 2 internet coupons of the same kind for the same item.

        • Tricia

          Mine accepts 3 also

      • Britta

Yes, but their policy is if a printable won’t scan they won’t take it. Also they won’t take a printable for a free item. For example, they will not accept a printable coupon that states “buy one get one free.”

        • Kswebb217

I guess it depends on what store you are at. Mine takes them all the time.:)

          • Tricia

My Eat. Think. Smile. Bar Q wouldn’t scan and the manager came by to put it in.   She told the cashier that those never scan but that they’re ok.  My store is very strict, too.

      • Lovesavingmoney

Thanks everyone for the help!  I’ll ask a Manager before I start shopping just to make sure since it seems some stores are different then others.

      • Britta

If you look at the top right hand corner of this page there is a link to Harris Teeter’s coupon policy. It is true that some stores do things differently, but that is the official policy.

Not sure if this has been posted, but the hershey’s simple pleasures bags of chocolate are $4.15 and there is a $2.00 coupon making them $.15.  I can’t remeber which week the coupon came, but I think there may be one in this weeks paper also.

      • Britta

I got the trial bag at CVS and didn’t like them. I got that deal today and gave them to the cashier. They can use a little extra kindness this week.

    • Aurora

Hi.  I’m new to couponing and about to go HT today.  Just need clarification on the BOGOs.  For example the Welch’s Fruit ‘N Yogurt Snacks, 4.25 oz, at $1.99 (99¢).  Is that .99 for two or one?  Thanks.

      • Ctrinkle

        99 for one.

        • Aurora

          Thanks!

          • Aurora

Another thought.  Can I purchase 1 of the BOGOs.  Would it still be half price?

            • Chris

              Yes — have fun!

            • SamTD

jus buying one is .99. there’s also a q for it too! :-)

      • Kathy

If it is Bogo, you are getting two of them for 99 cents, buy one get one free !

      • Kathy

If it is Bogo, you are getting two of them for 99 cents, buy one get one free !

    • New to this site but what do the number in the ( ) mean? example $1.19 (.50)

      • Chris

The amount in parenthesis is the cost of one item. So, if it’s a BOGO (buy one get one) deal, you’d pay the amount in (_) for one. HTH

    • Tiptip82

i get the 9/16 redplum early and the $1.50/3 coupon is for the bags of candy bars not  the individual bars.  also, the nissin cup noodles coupons is for the BIG cups not the smaller ones that are on sale so neither is free

    • Pharkins2

If you have a evic coupon added to your HT card, will they still double your manufacturer coupon?

      • Elphaba

        Yes they will.

      • UniqueIzMe

Yes. The “ZVIC/EVIC” coupon is an added incentive.

    • Elphaba

Just a few deals to bring to the attention of the deal seekers:  Tampax Radiant tampons are $5.29, my eVIC coupon added $2.50 off 2 and I had 2 $2.00 off coupons (which are also in the boxes for your next purchase) so that makes them $.10 each.  Kashi layered granola bars are $3.00 and I had a $1.50 coupon that doubled from the ___ (can’t remember the name!! Not Vistaprint, the one that used to send us great samples and coupons that you sign up for.  Somebody help me!)  on the box was a $1 off Kashi cereal which doubled so I go that for $.99 but now I have a Saturday special and it would have been $.24 if I’d waited and doubled it tomorrow.

      • Percyo07

Kashi layered ganola bars coupon ($1.50/1) is from vocalpoint.com :)

      • Pensaver

        Vocal Point

        • Elphaba

Thank you, Pensaver!  VOCALPOINT not Vistaprint, but you can see where I was going!

      • Jesse

=(  The Tampax radiant coupons would make for a great deal, but if you’re referring to the ones you cut up from inside the box, they are $2 off 2, not $2 off 1.

      • lost on the math for the tampax…5.29 each x2 = 10.58 – 2.50-2= 6.08… so $3.04 each?  maybe I missed something, but not sure how u got to .10 each?  Would love to get some of these if u could clarify the deal for me

    • DealDiva

Found this deal today as an added bonus:  NC residents can score a free FOOD NETWORK magazine- Look for a display in the store next to the wine.  On the display are $2 coupons, bar code 5 – they say do not double but mine did.  NC is no wine purchase necessary according to the coupon.  The OCT issue has a pull out section with lots of ideas for apples.

    • Serina

i did two trips today, i have two vic cards.  I spent about 30 dollars for about 250 worth of groceries.  I think i did pretty well though.

      • Awgraham123

Can you tell me a few things you got? Having trouble putting my list together….

        • Crystalgoodwin3

I was doing the Kraft cataline so I got 4 Crystal Light single serve boxes. These were not on sale but I had 2 – $1/2 coupons that doubled. I got 6 of the Kraft shedded cheese on sale for $2. I had 3 – .55/2 coupons that each doubled. This deal give me $10 catalina back so it made for a great deal. This is the 4 time that I’ve done the Kraft catalina deal since it started, to bad it ends today. Thursday I bought 4 velveeta mac/cheese for $2 each. I had 2 printable $1/2 coupons that doubled. Plus I got 6 of the kraft 16 oz slices for $2.99 with 2 coupons for .50 each and 2 for $1/2. Making the cheese singles $2 package. Paid $14 for the kraft items and got back a $10 catalina. That made for another great deal.
I’ll probably do it again this evening with the Oscar Mayer Deli fresh sandwich meat and some more of the shedded cheese. I’ll freeze part of the Mozz. cheese to use later on pizza.
I also got the 8 packs of gatorade that’s an Evic for $3.97. I have $1 coupons that doubled. My daughter just loves the G2. I usually pack it in her lunch. I also freeze it for hot days and she takes it to her horseback riding lessons. She’s learning to ride and jump English.
The freeze air freshener is another great deal.
I also used several rain checks that I got the last time HT had super doubles.
          Good Luck!

          • Guest

I’ve been breaking my Kraft items into purchases of 3 at a time.  The $2 catalina I get back has been doubling.

            • Amyb

How clever! I learned that too late (last night), since it ended yesterday.

      • Sinfuldarkangelbbw1

Know that is illegal to have two

        • Crystalgoodwin3

I have to drive over 1 hour 15 minutes just to get to a grocery store so having 2 cards would be awesome. I sometimes use my parents card. Especially for the evic deals on things my parents don’t buy.

          • Raynesmw

I don’t think it is illegal. I have 2-one for my mom and one for me. Since I shop for both, I feel there it no problem doing this. She is disabled. I do shop at 2 different stores so to keep the shelves stocked. I see husband and wife w/ 2 buggies all the time doing coupons at my HT.

          • Raynesmw

I am not seeing on the HT express where the pepsi 12 pks are 1.97 each..has anyone else done the pepsi deal?

      • Mathdance0

Our local Harris Teeter in Charlotte has $1.97 on all pepsi product 12 packs with no limit

        • Guest

Actually, there is a Limit of 4.. Live in Matthews and it says Limit 4 in the Charlotte market ad.

    • Crystalgoodwin3

I did pretty good today in HT.
I saved $89.98 spent $40.77 which included a $10 HT gift card, $10 catalina and 50 cent catalina.  It was like getting $130.00 worth of groceries for $20.77. That was 39 items, about 55 cent each. This included Crystal Light Drink mix which wasn’t even on sale, but was part of the kraft catalina deal and I did have coupons for it. I also got rainchecks for the items they were sold out of. Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow. I used alot of rainchecks that I got the last time they did super doubles.

    • sammiehokie

Is there somewhere you can find out the catalina specials?  Like when you get $1 as a “thank you from glade”  when you check out.   How do you know what you have to buy to earn these?

      • luv2sav

        Sammie, go to coupon network.com
and click on Your Bucks… You will sill all the Catalina deals that are going on.

      • Martin Weckerlein

you can see them on couponnetwork.com

      • Amyb

They usually print out at the register on catalina paper explaining current or upcoming specials. I put them under the clear plastic covering the front of my binder so I can keep up with the catalina promotions.

    • Aurora

Hi all!  Can a evic coupon be used twice for two of the same items?

      • Guest

It can only be used once, unless you go back and reload it or unless you have two saved already in your account.

    • MacBear1000

Has anyone had problems using manufacturer coupons that you get at checkout from another store at HT?  For example, during the last super double, I had a splenda coupon that was printed at Food Lion, but it said it was a manufacturer coupon.  The manager made out like he was doing me a favor in taking it and said that they don’t usually take them.  Is that correct?  I thought since it was a manufacturer coupon it didn’t matter that it had been printed at a different store?

      • Brooke

my store will take them from anywhere. i’ve ever used checkout coupons from kroger at my HT and the closet kroger is 2 hours away!

        • MacBear1000

Thanks Brooke, I was really confused when he said this, and there is a Food Lion not even a mile from the HT, so I know they are definitely competitors..interesting on yours taking the Krogers! :)

        • MacBear1000

Thanks Brooke, I was really confused when he said this, and there is a Food Lion not even a mile from the HT, so I know they are definitely competitors..interesting on yours taking the Krogers! :)

    • londonbridge13

Yesterday I went to HT and purchase the following spending $20.49 and saving $66.57, plus $1.00 to use on my next purchase = $19.49! :)

      8 Lysol toilet bowel cleaners
      4 Glade Expression Starter Kit
      1 Nutella Spread
1 box of Cookie Crisp (these are .77 after coupon and I only got one to try first to see if we like it)
      4 Colgate 360 toothbrush
      1 Fructis shampoo/conditioner
      1 Lysol Wipes
2 multi pack of 3 scotch brite sponges

      • BryanLovesCoupons

The cookie crisp is part of the evic special. You have to buy all 4 in one transaction to get that price. You lost the chance to buy the other 3 at .77. So if you like it maybe a friend not doing the cereal deal can get you some more with their card. My kids like it pretty good but not 4 boxes at a time, so I got 2 Total and 2 Cookie crisp. Used 2 $1.00 off Total from Betty Crocker website and then 2 cookie crisp .50 from coupons. Com. Got all 4 for 1.54

    • Kljjhoilman

Does Harris Teeter take Catalinas from other stores?  Thanks

      • O’s Mom

Mine will so long as the Catalina is not for a free item but they will take a $$$ off purchase or a $$$ off item catalina as long as the store is considered an area competitor

      • Caren

Also, Kroger catalinas will double…they are MQs and they start with “5.”

    • Kljjhoilman

Does Harris Teeter take Catalinas from other stores?  Thanks

    • Laurascoupon

NEED HELP..   I have a coupon for poptarts (1.00 off 3).  I also have a coupon for $2 off milk when I buy 3 poptarts.  Can I use the coupon for the poptarts and the coupon for the milk on the same 3 poptarts since one if for the poptarts and one is for the milk??

      • Raynesmw

Yes, you should not have a problem doing this. The $1 coupon should apply to the poptarts and the $2 would be off the milk.

        • Eb6

Theoretically that is true, but the coupon is probably coded to match the poptarts so the second one will beep and you will have to argue the point. Some stores agree and take it off the milk and others insist that you can only use one or the other.

        • Jesse

This works at our Harris Teeter in Greensboro, NC

      • SamTD

there’s a .70 q on couponsDOTcom for the poptarts youll b better off using

      • Twellwoman

YES.One is for the poptarts and one is for the milk, so that is the way to do it.  Where did you get a $2 off milk Q???  I want one!

    • Crystalgoodwin3

2 kraft cheese singles 16 oz.
      6 kraft shedded cheese
1 O Cedar broom and dust pan
      1 gatorade 8 pack
      2 visine
      1 johnsonville sausage
1 Karo syrup (for making candy apples)
      3 kit kat bars.
I got the candy bars because my order was $2.50 short from being able to use my $10 OFF $50 from the recyclebank.
I paid $42.65 and got back a $10 catalina from the Kraft deal.
I did the Kraft catalina deal 4 different times.
They’ll help out alot on next weeks groceries.

Hi.  New to couponing and signed up for savingstar.  However, made a purchase at HT of Gogurts and the savingstar ecouon was not reflected, the cashier was kind enough to go ahead and subtract $0.75  (the amt the couon should have been for), but she was not familiar with savingstar, and neither was I.  Can someone help explain how the savingstar ecoupons work?  Thanks!

      • Nora

Savingstar does not come off on your receipt.  Once it get’s processed it goes into your savings star account, so you see it later on.  Once you have $5 in your savings star account you can cash it out via PayPal.

        • Sfmayton

geez.  Now I fel bad causing such a confusion as to why t wasn’t showing up.  Thanks!  About how long before it is reflected in you acct?  It’s not showing as being redeemed in my account os of right now and the purchase was made Thursday.  Thanks for the help :)

          • Luvylady042000

I think a week or two sometimes longer just depending on how soon everything is processed…

          • Guest

It says on savingstar that it is anywhere from I think 7 to 30 days.  I have had some show up in 2 or 3 days, and others take a week.  You just have to be patient, but it is definitely worth the wait.

Question for someone who has purchased during this sale cycle. The E-vic specials are all limit 4. Is that total or per day? The Pepsi 12 ct at my HT are B3G2….I wish I could get the 1.97 deal like others say they are gettin!!

      • Guest

That is limit 4 total, but you have to buy them all in the same transaction.  For example, if you only buy 2 they will ring up as $1.97 each, but if later you decide to buy 2 more, they will be regular price.  I learned that lesson one day!

        • Lunsford61904

That was what I was thinking!  But I have read other people’s comments and they said differently, so I was making sure I wasn’t missing out on more!

          • luv2sav

Guest is right, I tried that one day. I came back the next day and went to customer service because my 2nd item didn’t come off. They told me it’s once a week.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

All E-vic deal are not limit 4, some are limit 2. The Gatorade is limit 2 this week.

        • Crystalgoodwin3

But I only got 1 Gatorade yesterday because I left my other coupon at home. The cashier said if I came back before the sale ended I could still get the other Gatorade for $3.97 E-vic price. I have $1 off coupons making them only $1.97 each. Really a great price for the 8 pk 20 oz. ones.

          • Tsimmons289

Do you mind if I ask where you obtained the Gatorade coupons?

            • BlueWaterGirl

They were on the products in my store in Charleston, SC.

            • Crystalgoodwin3

I trade someone Pepsi coupons for the gatorade ones.

          • Jkk1110

If it is an e-vic you only get that price fro one transaction not two. You must buy both items in that first transaction. IF you do it in two the 2nd will be the sale or full price(whatever people who don’t have vic pay for it)

            • Crystalgoodwin3

It’s not like that in my store.
I can get 1 today and then go back and get 1 tomorrow if it’s a limit of 2.

    • BlueWaterGirl

Where on the Recyclebank Website do I find the $10 off $50 purchase? Thanks!

      • Crystalgoodwin3

I couldn’t find them either, so I googled it.
After 3 or 4 tries, I found a coupon blog with a direct link to the coupon.

Does HT double catalinas?  On their policy it says they accept them, but doesn’t specify if they double them.  Thanks

      • luv2sav

Catalinas usually don’t double because they start with a “9”

      • Abcsweeps

my catalina from buying the two 42ct cottonelle wipes (2.59 each and used .50q) doubled today.  i didnt think it would but it did!  makes for a great deal actually

.18 for two containers of wipes!

      • Iannacone5

They usually dont bc most start with 9. However catalinas from fold lion havd doubled bc they begin with 5

      • Guest

My catalina coupons wont double becauee they start with a 9.  However, the catalina “rewards” or “$ off purchase” like we received from the Kraft promotions doubled.

Some grocery stores will let you stack you catalina and manufacturer coupon. Will HT allow the same?

      • Guest

No, because the catalina is a manufacturer coupon.  You can only use one paper coupon per item.

    • Brooke

I’m sure this has been asked before, and I can’t remember the answer…. Can I use a paper coupon, a Savings Star coupon, AND an e-Vic coupon all together?? Or a Savings Star coupon w/ a e-vic coupon?

      • Guest

         Yes!

    • krysta

I have a question on the chocolate. the coupon is for 1.50 off of 3 bags. the singles are whats on sale. I don’t think they would let you do this? Anyone tried it?

    • BLovesCoupons

I got $1098.49 worth of groceries this week at Harris Teeter for only $32.78. I got a $10 gift card and $12 worth of coupons off of my next order. That lowers my real cost to only $10.78 for everything. This is all stuff that we use everyday anyway. It includes bacon, frozen pizzas, fries, eggos, ketchup, baby food, tide, gain, mouthwash, air freshener, toilet cleaner, milk, cheese, and too many other things to list. Thank you southern saves for making it so easy. It was a lot of work and dedication to find all the coupons, but will be well worth it in the mints to come as we will not need much from the store. Thank you again. You may never know just how much your site changes lives, but if I can do it, anyone can
