Jenny I found a funny typo. I think you meant to say Cottonelle Toilet paper. lol too cute tho! -.50/1 Colgate Toilet Paper, (2) 4 pks or (1) 12 pk+ SS 5/23

      • thanks! In all those coupons it just blended right in

        • Brandie

it gave me a chuckle! I said, “Colgate tooth past, Now I gotta see this…”. lol

    • deb

      are they having triple coupons?

      • Brandie

        Yes and I'm stoked! lol

    • Tonya

Do they stack coupons or no??

      • Brandie

I don't think my Ingles does. Really I've never stacked any place but Kroger and Publix.

      • Becky

If your card is signed up for advantage mail you get coupons added to it occasionally. Last time I had Lindsey Olive coupons and they added one to my card, and that stacked but only on one not both.

        • Brandie

thanks for sharing this Becky!! I didn't know Ingles did this!!

      • angelb

Our Ingles in Laurens said they will accept 2 Internet coupons per product but do limit the coupons to 3 per every 10 spent. At least I THINK that was what she said. I was a little confused. Ingles needs to be more consistent and have the same policy at all stores. She said they do not accept free internet coupons but do b1g1 Internet coupons. They way I figure it I would have to spend about 6-7 for every 3-4$ off and I think I can do better at other stores. I am still leaning this system though and feel like I am stumbling through it.

    • So is this like going to be an all the time thing? Or Sunday only? And does this now mean that they will double coupons .50 or less all the time?

      • momto2boys

Ingles triples coupons for the week every so often so it will run for the week. Ingles has always doubled coupons but they have a funny policy on doubling so check it first.

    • Jacquelyn

HOW FANTASTIC ARE YOU?! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You are such a blessing to my family….

    • coupondiva02

I'm not seeing any great deals :-(
I hate to waste a triple coupon week. Does anyone have any suggestions?

      • esturm1

It's probably not worth it unless you need things like mustard and other condiments. Ingles is not worth the hassle with their incredibly difficult coupon policy.

    • Tracy Shober

Simpsonville SC Ingles shoppers – very carefully check your receipt…last time they were having triple coupons, management did not set their registers to triple the coupon amount until I pointed out to them they'd only doubled mine…this was at 5:00 p.m., so anyone who'd shopped there that day earlier than me who thought they were getting triple coupon credit were not. This store also limits the number of manufacturers coupons you can use to two, even those coupons not being doubled. The coupon policy they have posted in their store does not support this, but their answer to me was that the coupon policy on their website states this (of course I checked and couldn't even find a coupon policy on the website). It's not worth the trouble to complain to the company, I simply don't shop there now. Just be aware if this is the Ingles you shop at or intend to try out.

      • kristinnc

I wish I would have read this before I went. I just checked my receipt and all of my coupons doubled, not tripled. I rarely shop there (Bessemer City NC) and now I know why (also it is a very old creepy store :()

        • Tracy Shober

I know it's a pain to go back, but I would bring your receipt back and have them re-imburse you the difference…seems like it's company policy to 'forget' to program the registers properly for triple coupon week…sounds like something the Better Business Bureau might be interested in…sorry you got taken…I wonder how many other folks are being taken by Ingles today and in years past?

          • David

I went tonight had no problem with triples but my cashier had to manually triple each coupon but she said thats what they have to do at ingles or at least mine in Shelby, NC.

            • Christa

They always have to manually triple them on triples week and it's pretty slow and be careful if you use self-checkout, you will probably have to ask them to triple them for you!

          • Amanda

That happened to me on the Total Cereal deal a couple weeks back. I showed them the sale paper and they reimbursed my money.

      • Greg

I'm actually a cashier/bookkeeper at the Simpsonville, SC store. The managers rarely remember to tell the cashiers of triple coupons, so sometimes you'll have to remind them. None of the Ingles stores automatically triple the coupons via register programming. If they are meant to double they will double and the cashier will triple it if it doubled.
Anyone that had needed coupons triple had gotten theirs previously if the cashier was aware, and from what I'd heard almost every cashier was aware.
All Ingles stores are handed a booklet of what to/what not to accept and whether this available on the site or not is beyond my knowledge, but I know that it is in existence because I have read it.
The reason behind the only 2 manufacturers coupons is the mass of counterfeit coupons we receive. If you have any questions or issues the management at our store will GLADY resolve them and give you any money that you deserve/was not accounted for.

    • sherri

once again I was pretty disappointed in the items that were on sale compared to the coupons that are out there. I did find a few decent things. Suave and secret deodorant free after triples. viva single rolls for 0.19. Angel soft 6 double rolls 2.98. Not triples but still good.,, ball park hot dogs 2/4$

      • Kat

We didn't have any Secret for $1.50. Oh well.

    • sandy

Lots of unadvertised deals for free or really cheap. Daisy sour cream 2/$3. Use .50 coupon and it's free. French's honey mustard is the same. You just have to be willing to wander the store with your coupon notebook open.

      • Rachel

Where did you get the coupons for La Choy soy sauce?

        • David

I had printed it off a few weeks ago when they had that game on the Congra website. You had to play the game to get coupons but i don't know if its still up or not.

    • Melissa

I went to Ingles and was able to get Papmers wipes for .88 per tub. They are on sale for 2.88 and the 2.00 coupons were in yesterdays paper! I know they are a little cheaper at different places but if you are going to check out the triple coupons you may want to pick some up!

      • Michelle J

I've heard some say that Walmart has them for 1.97.

Do you know that if you have to shop with your kids…lol…at Ingles then they can have a free cookie? I tell my kids that if they are quiet and sit in the cart then they can have one, the bakery dept. is at the end of our store route. I asked corporate recently and got this email to confirm it:

Thank you for taking time to contact us concerning our Free Cookie for Kids program. This program is still in effect and as a parent all you need to do is stop by the Bakery Department and ask one of your associates for a Free Cookie.

Sorry if there was any confusion at one of our stores.

Thanks again for shopping at Ingles.

I remember it was that way when I was a kid. :)

Had a very successful trip to my local Ingles today – had about 15+ 50cent coupons. The only problem – the check-out clerk didn't know they were having a “triple coupon week!” I showed her the ad, and she said she thought they should have programed the register to triple the coupons. But, since they didn't, she had to scan the coupon (which doubled) and then manually punch in the triple for EACH coupon. My daughter had the same problem on Sunday evening at a different Ingles. The clerk knew nothing about the triple deal and called over his supervisor. She wanted to know where my daughter heard that, and so she pointed it out in the ad to the Ingles employee. Then this person said, “Well, I don't think it starts today.” Then my daughter pointed out the sale date on the ad. I think Ingles management should consider giving their register clerks and their up-front supervisors a heads up about such promotions…just saying :)

Went to my Ingles today in Covington, GA to scoop up some triple coupon deals. I was in the middle of my shopping trip finding some great buys when I asked an employee if for sure it was triple coupon week. She said yes BUT, they only accept two internet coupons per transaction and they do not double or triple them!!! They have had too much trouble with fraud. I ended my trip early and disappointed that some people choose to do things illegal and it hurts the rest of us.

What I got free (plus some overage):
Mahatma brown rice, Wacky Mac, Van Camps Pork and Beans, Margaret Holmes canned vegetables, Bear Naked granola bar, Suave deo
What I got for almost free:
small coffeemate powder (.08), Rayovac batteries (.25), Pampers tub wipes (.78), Marcel single paper towel (.18)
I bought honey and bananas to boost my total to use all my coupons (plus 3 tubs of baby wipes helped).
      Hope this helps!

Thanks, Jenny, for all your work on all lists, especially this one. You didn't have to round up all these Q's for us. Thanks!!

    • Amber

Argh! I went to Ingles specifically with my triple coupons and of course bought all the specific items per coupon. After I rang up, I gave the cashier my (12) coupons, she swiped them, and gave me my total. I saw that they weren't tripled, so I asked. She says, Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me. We have to input that ourselves. So she takes my 12 original coupons and doubles on 8 of them, and never tripled any of them! I was frustrated and just left and didn't find this out until I searched my receipt at home. I ended up losing over $8.00, and as we couponers know, that is a lot! It just makes me so mad when I go get a specific product because of the coupons and end up paying the same as everyone else! I guess I need to go and get my money back. I just wanted to vent. It seems like most of my transactions do not go smoothly because of the cashiers. Blah!

      • Emily

Please do go back and talk to a manager!! Ingles REALLY needs to upgrade their system to do all of this automatically and unless people politely complain…they won't! I had a really bad trip last time they did triples…ended up going back the next day and getting nearly $15 refund due to cashier errors….on a $140 order.

Did my ingles shopping today. They always have to manually triple (after the computer doubles) the coupons. A bonus to this though is that you can score a little bit of overage. My 28 oz can of VanCamp beans was $1.38. The computer doubled my $.50 coupon (so $1 off) and my cashier took off another $.50. So I got $.12 overage for each can I got.

I love my Ingles! They don't follow the coupon policy and every time I go in- no matter how many coupons I have or how much I spend- they honor them all!!!! I had the most ever today and they let me use them all so I will be going back later in the week with the rest!

      • shl30643

My Ingles does the dame thing! The only thing they won't take is, internet printed coupons for free items. I'm getting ready to go now!

        • Sheryl

The Ingles stores in my town are also both very coupon friendly! I am so glad, because the nearest Kroger and Publix are about 30 miles away…I do my 'serious' coupon shopping a few times a month there, but am grateful for the friendliness of my local Ingles for my day to day grocery shopping!

      • Christa

I'm not trying to be a busybody but are ya'll sure that all your coupons are doubling? I have noticed that the registers automatically only double three per $10 spent before tax. After that they will take them but they don't double.

        • Sheryl

I always watch carefully and all my coupons are doubled regardless of how much I spend. I have had the store manager bagging as I checked out several times and he has always been very supportive of my coupon usage.

        • Guest

My ingles only doubles 3 coupons with a $10 (and only 2 identicals will be doubled per order). I have to spend $20 for ingles to double 6 coupons. The same is true for triples. If Aimee has a lenient ingles, that's great for her. By far all the ones I've frequented vigorously enforce the policy.

    • Kathy

My Gosh! Jenny you are too nice!! Thanks for all the triples!

    • Melissa

I usually have an easy time using coupons at my Ingles – but I am just not seeing tons to get excited about. Most of the coupons that would make free/cheap stuff, I used at HT last triples. Oh, well, may just skip shopping again this week!

    • Pam

Question? My Trop50 coupon is $1/2. Does Ingles triple it since it is only 50c off ea item or was there also a 50/1 coupon in the paper I missed? Getting ready to make my 1st ever trip to Ingles. Thanks!

      • AH

You must not have gotten the .50/1 coupon. Sorry!

        • Pam

Darn! I'll have to be more careful clipping – LOL
