I am loving all the companies that have come out in the month of October to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer and funds for research.  I have one more company that is giving you an incredibly easy (and free) way to donate.  During the month of October,  Pepperidge Farm is supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

For every person that shares a “Milano Moment”  – those special moments that you steal for yourself or share with a close friend and truly enjoy –  on Milano’s Facebook Page, Pepperidge Farm will donate 50¢ to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Why Milano Moments??

Really I think this is a wonderful idea.  It is the special moments in life that cancer of any form steals.  One of my closest friends in college lost her mother to breast cancer a couple of years ago.  I know for her, now with three small kids, there are so many moments in their lives that she wishes her mom could share them.   How wonderful for Pepperidge Farm to help us sit back and think about those moments that mean so much to us.

I spent a long time trying to figure out what a special moment was for me.  I realized that I have a few big days that of course stand out but right now in my life, it is probably a very simple moment in my day.  I love those few minutes right before my girls go to bed at night.  My youngest will still snuggle for a minute or two after you finish reading a story and I cherish those snuggles and minutes.

What are your special moments or memories?

Please help fight breast cancer by posting your own Milano Moment on their facebook page.  It’s a simple (free) way for us to each raise 50¢ and to spend a moment or two remembering what is really important in our day.
